Name: Taro Age: 14 Race: Hybrid (Human/Saiyan - Saiyan Dominance) Current Location: Earth Height: 5'2" Weight: 115 lbs Tail: Wrapped around his waist, hidden underneath his shirt. Zeni: 750z Items: Old Spacepod |
History:
{Spoiler}Taro's life is the result of a one night stand, two people never meant to see each other again. His father was a lowly human who went from town to town seeking pleasure. His mother... an ex-warrior, trying to find her way back after a rough crash landing. She hadn't expected it all to happen, and couldn't help it, but eventually went through the process of child birth on her own. However, she didn't want anything to do with the baby after bringing it into the world. She left him in the wilderness, flying off to continue her own journey and life. Which Saiyan wished to keep half-breed trash, anyhow? Especially when it would tarnish her name.
However, fate had other plans for the baby. A young martial artist travelling the world came across the tiny bundle, not too long after the mother left. Having a soft, kind heart, she took him with her. Whether she would raise the baby or not, she didn't know, but held the optimistic view that everything would work out in the end. In a way, it did.
After having to care for not one, but two persons, the woman grew attached to the baby. She even took it upon herself to name him; Taro was a nice name, wasn't it? Yes, her and Taro explored the continent, stopping whenever necessary... And as the years passed by, the larger he grew. Eventually, the one he now dubbed as 'mother' decided to train him in what she considered her entire life. He appeared to be a natural at it, fighting that is, and soaked in her lessons like a sponge with water. To the say least, his mother was impressed. More than impressed actually, she was quite proud, quite pleased indeed.
But at the age of ten, when it came time for him to learn ki, she was shocked by how quickly Taro picked that up as well. As he continued to show limitless potential in her eyes, the more he began to frighten her. What was going on? This child was in no way normal; his tail was proof enough, but she hadn't expected any of this. The practice she devoted most of her life to was accomplished by a mere child in less than half the time. It was a large blow to her ego, yet... she had the honor of calling him 'son', that he was her child. Who else could say their kid learned to manipulate ki in a day? No one that she knew, and the woman was positive of that...
With their exploring, she entered Taro into small battles. Whether it be fights against others around his age in dojos, or actual, overlooked competitions, he did them all without much fuss. Doing so gave him more experience and more strength. His mother remained there, as always, bearing witness to his growth. Once he turned twelve, she knew what had to be done.
He woke up one morning to find her gone, and a note adjacent to where he slept. She had nothing left to teach him, marveling at the speed he had progressed. His final test though, would be a more difficult one.
Find her.
