Through those veins raced the blood of a proud Saiya-jin warrior, the brute being devoid of the human compassion from his father's miniscule Earthling blood. Carva had not a care in the world except to toughen the boy up for coming battles for the glory of the Kingdom. He himself had a hellacious childhood and knew well how to pay that violence forward.
His golden aura had a certain force to it the likes of which Rensu likely wasn't used to. True to Legendary blood, his ki most likely felt like an unending reservoir of explosive energy. His eyes narrowed as the boy's boots would scuff his clean floor. "Ohhhhh, you're gonna pay for that kid!"
Deep down, he respected the kid's effort. He hadn't seen many recruits stand up to him in such a manner, and most didn't pass his standards. Carva threw that huge hambone fist forward with a bone shattering force and as it collided with Rensu's, shockwaves would roll over the floor. Their auras meshed as they stood there, locked in time...Carva's lips curled upward. "Looks like you cut the mustard, kid...I must say, most GROWN men can't withstand my punches, even with these inhibitors watering down my power. But you, Rensu...you're obviously different, obviously...special."
His aura would die down a bit, but he would maintain his form like a professional. Then, dropping into his stance he'd open up with a series of roundhouse kicks followed by a spinning backfist. Carva's martial arts were crude but he'd had no formal training...he'd always been a striker. And as Rensu would realize, he was left handed. This was a rare trait, no matter who you were. "I understand your pride. It is a warrior's pride, and you don't want me to hold back...but..." then Carva made a surprising statement, one the once murderous Elite would mean. "...I've no reason to outright kill you. You are my student, and I respect anyone who doesn't cower before my Transcended form."Wc: 336
"You claim to know the definition of "pain". Allow me to show you it's true meaning!"- Carva
"Hah! Tell ya what: Beat me and I'll clean this place up!" Rensu responded to Carva's claim over him dirtying the clean flooring with the heels of his boots. He had to what he had to do, so he wouldn't be KO'd instantly. Carva probably knew what he was trying to do and was simply reacting like any homeowner or property owner would. The claim did make the lad smile. Look at this guy: a Super Saiyan capable of Legendary feats- Upset over a filthied ground. It was humorous. However! This was not the time for jokes. He had to fight or get knocked out. Either one, really. He was growing excited as the battle raged forth.
Truth be told, Rensu was experiencing a whole wave of gratitude. Despite this elder Saiyan's bravado and rough personality- He seemed to care. Like he wanted Rensu to rise in the world and grow into a fullblown warrior. Carva essentially wanted Rensu to finally realize his heritage and fight for himself and use his own strength. The boy just couldn't let Carva down. Not at this point. Not here. He just couldn't let that happen.
The feeling of his fist smashing into Carva's was blood curdling. A loud boom, and shockwaves escaping and rippling about over the ground...it was intense. To say the least anyways. Rensu could feel the difference between he and the Legendary Brute in front of him. "H-heh. Im special? Wow, C-Carva," The young man laughed lightly. "I kn-knew you were capable of compliments, and you care." Rensu grinned, his fist dropping the moment Carva's did. The two dropping stance before going back in simultaneously. Rensu watched closely as Carva's legs moved like flickers of light to him. It was terrifying: Compared to him, Carva was a Saiyan God. But, to him? There were those who outdid Carva by eons. Take, the King for example. A literal God who surpassed golden aura and now took up red aura. It was insane, how far the race had come.
As Carva threw each roundhouse, Rensu tried keeping up. His instincts telling him to guard and tank what he could. Each thrown attack divided equally. Some blocked by the boy's arms and the other received by his face. However, Carva's backfist was seen ahead of time. Rensu took note of Carva's favor to his left side. He'd capitalize by responding with his own high, roundhouse kick. Catching the older man's fist with his calf. "Thanks: It means a lot, Carva. But if that's the case, give me what you can! At least seventy five percent!"Carva
"No need, Rensu. There is no "if" I can beat you, and besides...that's what I have Aphradite for." He replied coolly, like some kind of business man. He didn't like filth in his home yet he never had to deal with it. Reason being was that he was taught that his kind weren't meant to clean up messes. No. His kind were to fight and do battle. Carva was less harsh than Tomina would have been had Rensu suggested his "manual labor". But he did ask a question. "Who the Hell said it was okay for us Saiya-jins to do the work of housemaids anyway? Boy, don't forget where you are from and what you are. It's insulting. Pathetic." That last word came with the sound of a man spitting his words out. Rensu could tell that Carva meant every word, because he did.
So he'd given Rensu a high compliment, at least from Carva. The thought of being the best damned Saiya-jin warrior in the Kingdom still lingered at the back of his mond, however he wasn't too bull headed to recognize talent, even respect it. In some aspects, his intelligence could be attributed to the miniscule yet ever present amount of Earthling blood which coursed through his veins.
Carva hrmphed. "Don't get used to it, Rensu. I don't necessarily have a reputation for being a nice guy. I'll not have you go around spreading some nasty rumor that I am either." Carva knew full well what he must look like to Rensu with such a frightening power emanating from his body. But the most terrifying thing for his opponents would be the control which he held over this raging bull like ki. The Prodigal Elite's Legendary blood had tasted the light of day, but each time it did...he learned. He grew stronger.
To hear Rensu make such a request did the boy no favors as it came to Carva's need to teach him a lesson. As with Tomina's lessons his own were for the boy's growth. His thin lips would suddenly curl upwards, left hand on his right wrist as a click was heard. "You do of course realize what you are asking for, and I don't know whether you are just stupid or insane. Hrmf. In any event...let me just give you a taste."
Click. Click. THUD. Each weight would cause a large crater in the metal floor of his gravity chamber. Uninhibited, his aura flashed with a blinding golden light, almost as if anyone looking into that light was staring into the sun. Suddenly...cameras would explode above their heads, and the lighting fixtures would flicker like strobe lights and shower them with sparks like hellfire from Heaven.

Carva would close his eyes and find that well of energy, erupting within him like a volcano. He'd lower it, just enough for Rensu to be able to gaze upon him without going blind. He smirked. "Gaze upon Hell, kid. Because this is what he looks like."

"You claim to know the definition of "pain". Allow me to show you it's true meaning!"- Carva
“No need, huh?” Rensu repeated. Seemed like Carva was pretty confident in himself. He had plenty of reason to be, though. In the current standings and chart of powers, he outdid Rensu by a wide margin. However, Rensu couldn't just stand there and let his bet go ignored. It seemed like Carva had someone to do his cleaning already and had little to do when it came to tasks relating to cleanliness. Manual labor had no place in his schedule of things to do. “Oh? What, are we too strong to clean up for ourselves or somethin’?” Rensu smirked as he brought his leg down. Standing in a fighting stance but relaxed too. “..’sides. Who said I was gonna do any housemaid work? I'm not losin’.” Rensu added. His pride shining outwardly, despite knowing well that this session would likely result in his being unconscious or heavily fatigued.
It seemed that Rensu was finally cracking through Carva’s thick skull. If that was even the correct way to put it. The lad breathed a bit heavily. When there was no action going on, that gravity really did set in and makes itself known. Even so, Rensu’s smirk remained on his face. He was beginning to feel accomplished here. It was a really nice feeling. Hell, he may’ve been the first Saiyan to obtain praise from Carva. That had to say something at the least.
Rensu giggled at Carva’s sagely grunt. He didn't seem to like the idea of the kid going out and telling other elites that Carva may have been a softie. “Kekeke! Ah ah, C-Carva! I won't say anything to anyone! This stays between us,” The young man grinned from ear to ear. His childlike expression had to speak to Carva’s Human side. Maybe a little!
It seemed Carva wasn't sure on how to assess the youngster’s request. Going as far as to question if Rensu was simply insane or an idiot. Well, Rensu must've been both. “I'll take idiot over insane. Either way, c’mon!”
Click. Click. Thud!!
Rensu watched as Carva undid his wrist weights, yet the sheer drop and boom that followed their descent still made him jump. Jeez! Just what were those things even made of?! Rensu wore a puzzled, yet excited grin on his face now. His eyes darting up to look to the glowing Elite. In an instant, his strength spiked from the mere hundred thousands to the terryinging millions. “Unreal..! My gosh!” Rensu staggered a bit. He knew how strong Super Saiyans were, but gosh! This was insane to him. Even more: There were still Saiyans that outdid Carva. So imagine them at full power..! The young man was mesmerized!
The lights flickering. Carva’s aura casting a heavenly glow and shimmer. Hell, cameras were exploding from the sheer strength alone! “This power is amazing..” Rensu mused. Standing upright, the lad had to force himself to stand proudly. No pain, no gain. Pointing his thumb towards himself, Rensu nodded. “Sah. I bet you think I'm scared,” He was. “But I'm not standing down. I'm a Saiyan. I'm already hell bound. If this is what hell looks like, then- Then I can only prepare myself for it right now! Like a Saiyan would! How a Saiyan should!” Rensu seemed to become more and more courageous with each word. His aura flashing up and flaring vibrantly.
“Because that's what I am: A Saiyaaaaan!!”
The youth bellowed out his race. Carva was getting what he wanted out of the lad. He wanted him to recognize his race and his roots and that was exactly what was going on. “I'll show you!! Now, c'mon!” He beckoned Carva over by waving his hand a few times. Was he begging to die? Or was he begging to become stronger? Obviously it was the latter and not the former, but damn. Rensu was so pumped on this whole thing. He was fighting a legendary Super Saiyan incarnate. Or, a form thereof. This could be a notch on his belt, and worth plenty of experience in the long run! How exciting! Carva
Carva wasn't worried. He wasn't even concerned that Rensu had evidently lost his mind and gone off the deep end. Even at three quarters of his full power, the pressure given off by the Elite's power would make the gravity pushing down on them seem like a pin prick. To Carva, at least. He would reply sternly. "The God King has seen to it that we have Brenchians to clean up after us."
For the first time in anyone's encounters with Carva, he spoke of Nasu with a tone in which Earthlings addressed their Kami, their God. To Carva, Nasu was "God". He wasn't a creator, but a destroyer...everything that the hybrid had strived to be. The red aura and hair, the flashing eyes...that massive power. Carva full well understood that he wasn't the strongest Saiya-jin in existence. Yet, he seemed to be perfectly okay with it.
He was driven by it...he even spoke of it with great ambition in his eyes. "Do you ever wonder why I train? Why we train? There was a time where I would have believed that I was the most powerful being in the Universe...and no one could stop me. In my own mind, I was unbeatable." He grunted as he prepared himself to attack. "But then, I came here...I witnessed Nasu's power with my own eyes. Even then, he was God Like. Truth be told, at first, I never intended to join forces with anyone..."
He chuckled. "But then...I saw things his way after nearly being smothered in the vacuum of space. So I joined the Kingdom...for power. To train with the best, learn from the best...to surpass the best. I train to be the best." His smile faded as his body began to flicker. "And you should aspire to the very same standard, though you must realize their can only be one "best in the universe"!"
As he charged forward, it was difficult for his form to even be followed by Rensu. He faded in and out like a ghost, fists moving like pistons toward Rensu. Whether he could dodge or not, now would be the true test of his protégé. He stopped pulling his punches...Rensu would have to fend for himself!Wc: 380
"You claim to know the definition of "pain". Allow me to show you it's true meaning!"- Carva
“Eh?” Rensu responded. He was curious as to what Carva meant. God King? Brenchians to exterminate? What? Was he talking about King Nasu? Why did he call him “God King”? The only one he had ever be referred to as such was...well, that guy who took over Vegeta. Tomina said his name once. He couldn't place a name just yet. Maybe he'd have to investigate after this match. Rensu furrowed his brow and readied himself regardless of anything.
He must've been talking about Nasu. Rensu was young, but he wasn't an idiot. He heard of the King’s great strides and ascension. It was godly. Hell, it was exactly that. Godly. The King was literally a Saiyan God. Funny. Red hair and red aura to protect the evil blue that infested the once glorious empire of Vegeta. Rensu had to at least smirk. “King Nasu,” He said. “Our protector and leader. Yeah, he's pretty godlike.” Rensu nodded. The youth listening to Carva speak. He didn't wonder all of it, but at least some. “I guess,” He grunted.
“Eh? Is that so. I wouldn't have eeever guessed that: You? Thinking you're invincible? Amazing. Woulda’ never thought.” Rensu teased, laughing a little bit. “Of course, Carva-san. You don't seem like the type to be willing to lend your strength to anyone. Even I can see that much.” Ren added. His fists tightening and his expression turning to a confident smile. Look how far Carva came. Rensu's new mentor. Surely Carva would have never seen himself fulfilling such a job. Never in his lifetime!
Rensu nodded once. “You joined to learn. Be the best. Surpass the best. Be number one in the universe. Is that right, am I hitting the nail on the head?” The youth asked. His eyes closing and his sense over Ki letting him know where Carva was. He hasn't attacked yet. But he was preparing to launch his assault. Right. He had to talk quickly. While this temporary peace lasted, at least. “Carva-san,” He shouted. “You're not the greatest in the universe, but you're stronger than I am! But that's gonna change!!” The lad added with a boom in his voice. Like the beat of a heart, something in Rensu changed.
“There can only be one: One “Greatest in the Universe”. It's neither of us, old man! But I'll train too! And beat everyone! In my name! In the name of the Saiyans! In your name! For everyone...everything!!”
Rensu charged himself and his Ki. Hoping to brace up and brave the incoming attack. Carva was holding no bars. This was it. He knew in the back of his head that he couldn't take anymore, though. The damage was stacking up. A full attack from an Transcended Super Saiyan, too? No way. He'd be knocked out in an instant. But...in a way, it made Rensu happy. He had a goal. Something to defeat. If Rensu was alone, he’d cry for joy. He found a motive. Like Tomina talked about. Rensu’s eyes shut tight. A relaxed smile on the young boy's face. He gulped heavily on building saliva. “I'm ready for you,” He whispered. “Carva!!” The name was yelled. He envisioned the elite fading in and out of view. His body tensing up, bracing for impact.
“Come on!!”
The youth wanted to dodge and keep fighting. But, alas: No cigar. He hadn't the energy nor speed. Each punch delivered by Carva hurt, but the pain was ignored as best he could. His face was smacked around; Up, down! Left, right! His teeth gritting and keeping him from squeaking or grunting out of pain. No pain, no gain! It was evident: Rensu wanted to prove his grit. But there was only so much a kid could take. Carva’s final attack had to land in his gut. Of course it did. Rensu’s eyes remained shut but the pain was evident. It was enough to feel and sense. Hell, the youth ended up coughing and expelling a bit of blood from the damage received. This wasn't simply defeat. He didn't lose, despite being on the verge of a knock out. In his last moments of consciousness, Rensu had a thought. "What am I fighting for?" "What do you fight for, Tomina? Someone, somethin'?" The question he had when asked by Tomina.
”Heh. Found it. Im gonna pass everyone; Carva, Tarro, Tomina. I'll show ‘em. I'll make ‘em proud.”
With that last thought, Rensu was out. His eyes closed, even then. A last gasp made before collapsing from the culminated damage brought forth by Carva. The youth was knocked out cold and done for. Not another peep from him. In a way, he was put to sleep. A painful one, but sleep either way. He'd likely be sore in the coming morning though! It was interesting, however. As Rensu collapsed and fell to his knees and then stomach. He had a smile on his face. Like, he found something. His pride, perhaps? Either way. He liked this. This result.
It was...bittersweet. 7,008 TWC!

Ever since his arrival to the former Brench, Carva had been taken with the God King and his power. Then he met Kinoko, one with his same Legendary Blood...another Legendary Super Saiya-jin. It was almost a dangerous obsession as the man had spent every day since training, his mind plastered with visions of his own ascension. He'd become fanatical about this power.
He didn't know what Rensu was thinking as he buried the hammer that was his fist into the soft flesh of his protege's belly. He had no idea, yet he knee exactly what Rensu's instincts would tell him. Ad Rensu fell unconcious, the older man kneeled to catch him on his shoulder and hold him up. He would whisper into the boy's ear. "Your heart is in the right place, kid. I respect that to the fullest. If you can hear me right now though, allow me to offer you a bit of advice..." he would let the kid down gently, laying him out on the floor. "...the lion cub should never roar so loudly that he awakens the big cat. You'll be a man someday...you'll do well, maybe one day you will beat me."
The mountainous Saiya-jin stood to his near seven feet, his form casting a dark shadow over Rensu. "That day us not today, unfortunately my friend."
Aphra watched from the corner, in the shadows. She'd not witnessed this form of Carva...this golden demon. She trembled in fear as she watched, her nerves going at ease as his hair fell and turned black. Timidly, she walked forward and then hesitantly reached out. "Carva...are...are you, you?"
"Hrmf..." he grunted with a nod, his expression stoic. Part of Carva had compassion but that was a tiny bit. He respected Rensu for his potential. He looked over at Aphra. "...I'm fine. Kid rattled me a little. Young one has a hard skull."
"Heh..." Aphra walked up to stand beside Carva, folding her arms over her chest. "...remind you of anyone, Carva?"
The Black Lion would turn, his tail sliding about his waist like a belt. As he headed out of the gravity chamber, he chuckled. "Too much." He waved his hand toward the boy and said with a deep baritone. "Make sure he gets the best medical attention possible, then draw me a bath."
Without another word, Carva would dissappear through the exit of his chamber. He wouldn't forget the fight Rensu had given him, nor would he forget the boy's bravery. He knew now that he had to train though...harder than ever before. WC: 432
