Always having been told of his shortcomings due to his bloodline had once gotten to the mighty elite, but not anymore. After years of abuse at the hands of his evil uncle Rubega, the Saiya-Jin warrior had learned to accept himself exactly as he was. His human blood had given him a sharp eye for learning techniques and doing business while his Saiya-jin blood had done exactly what was expected of it. It'd made him a warrior, Saiya-jin warrior spirit burned in his heart more fierce and hottee than before.
He'd chosen a different style of dress for this particular training session, a very Earthling-esque gi. Little did anyone know, this gi had once belonged to his father who was the spitting image of the warrior we see today.
Carva only had six short years with the man named Kyabetsu, his father. His father was quite a hero of Earth, always willing to lend a hand where it was needed and never leaving behind a comrade. He and his father would go on to share the same warrior's code, that same honor, though both would go about it in different ways.
For the warrior known as Carva had embraced his darkside, thanks to the hatred and thirst for vengeance instilled within him by Rubega. So as he stood before the control panel of his gravity chamber, his expression remained unchanging. He hadn't much to smile about that on this day, having recently been made to look foolish in the face of the Queen herself by a new recruit, known as Tarro.
While Carva could give two shits about who Tarro was, or thought he was, the fact of his disrespect for a self proclaimed officer of the God King's army was apparent. Carva growled as he remembered those rings restraining his movements and all those people who'd decided to get in his business. He turned the dial up to thirty, feeling the weight of the gravity created pressing down on his broad, stone like shoulders.
How dare they do such a thing? Who'd they think they were, exactly? Furthermore, why would Tomina become involved? "Tch..." he'd grunt to himself, a tinge of sheer jealousy in those dark brown eyes, now narrowed into devilish slits. Murderous thoughts would flow through the mind of Carva like a roaring river, his eyes flashing red for a moment, a malefic violet aura fluctuating his darkest energies like electricity.

Though...he couldn't bring himself to hate Tomina. No. She was as beautiful as she was deadly, but Carva wondered...why had she chosen TARRO over him?! That may have not been the case, but as the darkness pulsate in his heart, all he could do was becoming more and more jealous...treacherous even. Fighting against the evil in his heart, which was quite overwhelming, he drew in a deep breath.
Another deep breath...and another, his form becoming normal once more. But still, as his rage remained, his eyes and hair would continue to flicker as his aura became unstable. He wasn't like Kinoko...this form was a bit harder for him to subdue, more difficult to control and the reason was that he'd only known such power as of right now. Ash had unleashed the beast, and it was his job to control it. It became increasingly doable, but nothing happens in a day.

He turned from the control panel with a low sigh, looking around. It was quiet there in his gravity chamber, the sound of the gravity machine humming in his ears. Carva had a lot to think about as of late. His loyalty to the Kingdom was quite strong but still, he had to think about his usefulness to the King and Queen. There were formidable warriors coming up in the ranks, nearly as formidable as Carva. How could he possibly compete with such power? Even he had to question that.
There was Ash too. As his thoughts went to that strange creature, he'd clinch his fist in front of himself, his anger causing the air around him to waiver and flicker. He hadn't noticed it, but various weapons on the wall had began shaking and trembling, his own anger becoming projected as energy. But he'd be brought back to those thoughts Ash caused him to relive.

Fifteen Years Ago - Earth
Present Day
Kyabetsu faced off against the invader with great bravery that night, his home ablaze with crimson flames. The flames would illuminate the clearing in which the warriors now stood, accompanied by an unconscious female and a bawling six year old. Zoom in on the small boy, the spitting image of the larger Saiyan dressed much like adult Carva is now.
The other warrior, the invader flanked by two green aliens of unknown nationality, he was tall. He wore a black set of Saiya-jin armor, old style...chipped on the left shoulderpad. His face...it was nearly identical to Kyabetsu's, save for a bleeding scar on his left cheek. The invader smirked. "Are you seriously considering protecting the boy, Kya? After all, he's just a mutt...just like his mother. As a matter of fact, I may be willing to spare you if you just let me wipe this trash from the face of the Galaxy!"
"Shut your damned mouth, Rubega..." the warrior Kyabetsu would command, his dark brown eyes filled with rage as he stood before his wife and young son protectively. "...Letuccia will heal, trust me on that. And I'll be damned if I let you near Carva! He is NOT a mutt! He is my SON! So shut the hell up, you bloody idiot!"
The warrior's boots clicked, depressing the cold wet soil beneath them as he stepped forward. A vicious, sadistic gleam burned in the eyes of Rubega as he cracked his knuckles. "Big words from a man who abandoned his people for a half breed slut. No matter...if you wish to die with your family..." he chuckled, a non-chalant shrug lifting his shoulders. "...then who am I to dishonor your wishes? You wanna die? So be it...BROTHER!"
The child looked between the three adults, his eyes filled with tears as he did. He couldn't believe it...little Carva, helpless as usual! He fell down to his knees, his little tail down between his legs like a scared puppy. He sobbed on his ailing mother's chest, until suddenly...he felt a light hand on the back of his neck. He looked up to see her face...his mother, a kind...gentle woman, with the bluest eyes. "Ma...mama...you okay?"
She couldn't have been a day over twenty one, very beautiful with long, flowing black loches cascading over her shoulders and the brightest crystal blue eyes. Those crystal eyes reflected the clashes of energy suddenly exploding behind Carva and Letuccia, a fierce battle be in waged between his father and Uncle. Coughing up a bit of blood, she stroked her young son's neck. "C-arva...from the moment... (cough cough)...from the moment you were born...I looked at you and saw what true love was. You're such a sweet, smart little boy...nothing at all like what we are. (HEAVES) Please...please...trust your father...don't be..."
"Mom...momma...I'm scared! Daddy's fighting that mean man!" Carva sobbed, his mother doing all she could to comfort the young boy.
Her movements were growing weaker and weaker, her eyes barely focusing. Lettucia knew good and well that she was not long for this world, but she so loved her son that she'd force herself to stand as the two green skinned warriors would come closer. Then...it would be revealed...Brenchians.
The taller Brenchian would laugh. "Oh my, look at this, Ricotti. The mutt is trying to protect her pup!"
Ricotti was a short, fat Brenchian with black hair parted down the middle and eyes the color of stomach bile, green and disgusting to Carva. Ricotti would walk toward the weakened Letuccia, charging a ki ball in his left hand. "No matter, Cottaga. Try as she may, Noone can withstand Lord Rubega's Extermination Corps. This Saiya-Jin with the muddy blood and her little mutt puppy are gonna die! After all, hehehe...Rubega has Kyabetsu on the ropes! There's nothing he can do! This is gonna be a clean sweep!"

Present Day
His cheeks burning with tears, Carva faced down at least twenty of his attack drones. For the most part, this could be seen as a suicidal action. But not for him. Not for Carva. The man was a prodigal son, a warrior who knew his way around the training room. The drones swayed back and forth, locking on Carva, who would flip and duck their shots with expert precision. No matter how bad this inner pain clutched his heart, it never once slowed him down. These memories plagued him, yet they made him stronger than ever before. No man is perfect, however. Carva would grunt loudly as a laser beam would strike his right shoulder, followed by another.
The hybrid growled, crimson energy forming in his right hand as he'd throw a ki blast, the drone which fired the first blast disappearing in a brilliant explosion. He threw his body weight backwards, the next beam hitting inches in front of his feet. Bending at his knees he would spring forward and take a hard swing at the next drone, sending it crashing into the wall.
His energy would fluctuate as he would execute a series of lightning quick attacks, destroying more of the drones...one after the other, they'd explode in a shower of sparks surrounding the Saiyan warrior. Carva would go on to airwalk along the drones, each one exploding in turn until he'd spin in midair.
A cyclone of ki blasts, he'd destroy the last few drones quite easily, then slowly float downward to land on his feet. His shoulder pouring blood, the Saiya-jin would sigh. "Tch...too easy. Next time, I'm setting this piece of junk on higher difficulty."
And that was it...there it was. The very same cockiness that proved to be a possible flaw to Carva would also be one of his greatest strengths. This training session was just too easy for Carva. The monster would need to hunt bigger prey.
The lights of the gravity chamber fade to black.
