Birds were singing as the peacefulness of the world unraveled around them. The sweet little birdies unknowing of the fate of half the planet. While most were evacuating a few still decided to stay, Isabella was on of those few. She didn't stay simply for say a love one like most. No her reason for such was simply to finally have that freedom of which she desired. That freedom from the very laws that bound her usually. After all who really was going to enforce all of them when the government was now leaving. It was sad in a way how so many people were now leaving the place they once called home, but, what did it affect her? Live here or not didn't matter. She didn't require the same thing earthlings needed to survive. It was joyful that so many left spare food around however. She couldn't help but delight in that small tid bit so much. Was she afraid? Not of anyone here. She was strong and she could easily prove that. She would take whatever zeni and food she could find here to grow even stronger.
Even as she scavenged this seemingly fresh campsite, signs that someone must have been here quite recently for some reason or another. All of which very frequently appearing quite consistently. She wouldn't let someone get in her way though. She needed that zeni to grow stronger. She had already been having her own dreams of having a gravity chamber to train in inside her mansion. All that was required now was a means of getting that zeni. Her father and her mother's biomass composed of her after all, her father having reached his own dormant power before having used a piece of his biomass to form herself. It was why she wanted to grow stronger, she felt as if this pure form, something about it left her with a desire for it from her father. Since he had already unlocked it, her own combined biomass just felt as if it was missing a piece of her. That was why she held such a high desire for this goal. A desire to put whatever needed passed her so she may gain it.
As she was managing to grab what seemed to be a considerably fair bit of zeni, her ear holes couldn't help it pick up on the sound of a stick crackling on the ground. Was it possible that the owners of this campsite were back? Either way she needed to be ready. Keeping her ki suppressed she rotated around the campsite before coming face to face towards the sounds she heard. "Come on out before I hurt you!" She would shout towards the nightly shadows. It was dark out here which meant even if she couldn't exactly see them as well, she could sense for their ki at least if truly needed. She was strong and she would show others that if they wanted to stop her from taking the food and zeni.
Liari found the silence of the world... creepy... unnerving... There was no more sound of the bustling cities or the engines of their cars... she felt not many powers about anymore be that of the normal humans or fighters like herself. Everything was so empty... She had spent her time n one of the nearby cities, looking for something specifically... Something she thought she needed. Liari would never venture into those places for any other reason, not with them now being the ruins of a once populous.... population... She had grown accustomed to her relatively light weights... how they rested on her when she wore them. Hell, she wasn't even uncomfortable in them anymore so now... she thought she might crank it up a notch.
The small blue majin stumbled about the forests outside of town, breathing heavily as her newer, heavier weights seemed to struggle against her, each move ridged, stiff, full of effort... Her legs felt like lead and her feet trudging through drying cement, her new weighted jacket dragging her down on a WHOLE other level... She had to focus on her task so much, the task of just getting around, that she neglected being... tactful among the withered and dry branches upon the forest floor... How could she when each step fell like a meteor through the atmosphere...?
Liari huffed, grunting in frustration as she shuffled about the woods, leaning up against a nearby tree-trunk to catch her breath... sweat rolled down her cheeks and dripped off her chin as she writhed under her new weights, almost making her regret having gone on that misadventure to retrieve them in the first place...
"Ugh...." She sighed, rubbing the back of her neck. "Today's not going to be fun...."
As if the kais themselves sought to affirm this belief, a voice shot out through the forest trunks, demanding she come out (or so she assumed) or she'd be hurt...
"W-what....?" She protested, looking in the direction of the voice, her jaw slowly clenching. "O-oh come on...." The power that came from that direction... she couldn't believe she missed it and was so careless as not to hide her own... Stupid stupid stupid.... She didn't think she had a choice... this girl (so it sounded) was more powerful than she was with these weights... she couldn't just... walk away and expect to GET away.
Liari broke through the brush and into the clearing, her movements as stiff and uncomfortable as ever... She was surprised to see a... majin... much like herself but taller and pink, the bright colors easier to see in the low light. Liari's dark blue on the other hand might've been much harder to distinguish, maybe her outline visible... maybe her greyish-silver eyes.
"W-what... what do you want...." The majin spoke, attempting to hide her breathlessness.
The monster known as Abscis skittered across the rooftop of an apartment building, producing a sort of dry clacking sound as his talons struck the vine-wrapped concrete underneath him. The bio-android was experiencing something that had grown ever more common since he had made it his goal to grow and evolve on the world called Earth.
Pure Annoyance.
The planet just had to begin its death throes as Abscis had finally awoken from the first stage of his metamorphosis, driving all the possible genetic meals off-planet, beyond his reach. The poor and misfortunate left behind by the grand exodus had hardly satisfied as snacks, increasing his power by only a smidgeon. Abscis wanted more, NEEDED more.
The bio-android skipped the gap between two buildings like it was no more than a crack in the pavement, landing hard but safely. This sudden intrusion startled a flock of birds, who promptly took flight towards a distant forest. Abscis tilted his head, he had never sampled animal DNA before. This could be interesting.
A short while later, the being burst between two tree trunks, grasping a large doe by the throat. Eyes brightening in joy, he latched on to the animal's throat with his canines, obtaining a sample of the deer's genetic code and a portion of its power within just a few seconds!
Triumpth defining his features, he glanced upwards to see two majins conversing on the other side of the tree. One seemed familiar, while the other was completely foreign. Could this be a chance to obtain a genetic sample of this species? They were certainly powerful, outclassing him by a far margin. Abscis slithered closer..... Power Level: 2,553

It seemed her moment of worry had just been for nothing. All it seemingly had been to cause the noise was none other than a fellow member of her race. With that she could easily put a sigh of relief. So it wasn’t one of the humans who had been using this tent. “I’m sorry for that. I thought that you were one of the humans this camp belonged to. Do you want some of the food here? I’ve found plenty so far.” She would say her tone taking on more of friendly tone to it. In truth she was happy to see a fellow member of her race. Something about it felt better seemingly in a way. Made things less lonely she would suppose. Still she couldn’t help but wonder, but why was this other majin here? Smaller indeed, but size didn’t matter too much when it came to such a thing as their race. Their body was easily manipulated after all. Some like herself chose taller builds to improve upon their melee proficiency, while others chose a smaller form for speed and ki related movements.
“If you can’t help but tell me. Why are you here?” Isabella would begin the conversation with a simple but yet mutual question. Was it possibly coincidence that they came here? Or was there something more as to why? Isabella’s own bright green eyes staring right into the grey ones of the blue majin. It was sort of ironic with the fact of how few of Earth’s population remained on this planet and yet somehow. Two members of the majin race managed to find each other. It was in a way quite an interesting turn of events. A world dead and barren it seemed, still couldn’t erase the very traces of togetherness that still existed. Loneliness wasn’t the only outcome it really seemed. Strange how such a world even dying could still affect so many in all too many ways. Maybe that's why she offered the food to eat to the fellow majin in the first place? A sense of kinship perhaps? Being of the same race that was.
Her own precise ki sense however wasn’t picking up only the majin. She sensed something more only a shorter means away. It’s power wasn’t very high, but it was passed the majin in front of her. She would have to be careful indeed. No need to alert anything yet. Just simply wait and see what it was this power planned on doing to the rest of the them. It’s been awhile since she had a tasty treat after all. Let time tell what was to happen though. For now she simply needed to keep this calmer tone. Not to let her friend know anything wrong was going to happen. After all, she was the toughest there was. She would beat anyone in her way who needed it. Just wait and see universe. Majin Isabella was coming for it, whatever good or evil this meant? Who knew, but that wasn’t to say no fun could come from this.

The other female seemed quite relieved about something, her tense guard seeming to lower now that she noticed who it was tromping through the forest. Liari cocked her head to the side as the pink majin explained herself, the girl seemingly expecting someone else... owners of the camp that rested around them. Owners... So this wasn't HER camp...? Oh... In truth, Liari didn't have any care about her thieving.... The world was dying, nobody was around anymore and those that were were looters and scavengers just like the this majin here... So long as she wasn't being hostile, Liari had no qualms with her... Her friendly demeanor helped the smaller majin warm up to her fast too though the greatest factor in that direction came in her race... It had been so long since she saw another person like her... Like her sister Laezi... It almost made the little blue majin Tear up when she first saw her. In the darkness, she looked so much like her older sister.... Even talked like her too... So much better than Liari herself.
"Everyone's gone." Liari responded to the Pink-majin's question. "But I can't go... I'm looking for my twin here... Older sister... She looks like me but.... taller... smarter... talks better than I do..."
She gave these details in hopes of her possibly having seen her but in all honesty, she doubted it... No one else had, why should this stranger? Shy should she even care about her Liari's problems...? She sighed heavily, rolling her shoulders as if they could shift the weight of these damned heavy-weights into a more comfortable position... before suddenly a familiar energy pierced the night air... Unlike the pink majin who chose to ignore it (not like Liari knows this), the smaller blue majin's silver eyes glanced behind her in it's direction, glaring at it for a moment before she returned her gaze to her kinswoman.
"My name is Liari... Who're you...? Why're YOU still here...?"
Celsius was exploring a good chunk of the region he was still in after his little encounter with the Majin from earlier, Liari was her name. It was quite an interesting conversation as he learned the fate of Earth, that a certain tree sucked the life force out of Earth and it's currently sick, dying. He was slightly doubtful and after that encounter, flew around to truly see the damages and she wasn't wrong at all, he came across many villages and settlements that were ruined, and with their populations either dead or gone and much of the land of Earth he saw was just... dead. It was really a sad thing to witness as life is worth living in the universe, usually Celsius isn't so sympathetic but in his opinion, no one deserves to go out like that.
After getting all feely from such thoughts, he decided to put it off as while he was flying he suddenly felt a strong presence... no, he could sense a second one but it was very faint. He didn't know whether or not it was anything at all but the first one he knew were very real, feeling very familiar. He decided to start flying in the direction of where he could feel the presence coming from and soon enough, eyed what appeared to be a dead campsite, or so he thought until he saw two Majins talking to each other, one of them being Liari. He landed just outside the camp, it would look suspicious but it's Celsius's way of not butting into their conversation, he would wait until he was called over and then he would explain himself.
Suddenly, that second presence picked up again. He thought it was the second Majin Liari was speaking to but he was wrong, even though the power was slightly faint he could feel it for sure. There's definitely something out there but he can't put his finger on it, he can't tell if this is a being that's malevolent or benevolent, either way he decided to ignore it for now as if it was something innocent, he wouldn't want to freak them out by hunting them.
Abscis stealthily circled the gathering grouping, coming just close enough to be visible, before withdrawing into the trees. The familiar adrenaline of the hunt was slowly drawing him in, slowly, but surely. The small part of the bio-android was screaming at him to be logical about this, to simply flee, but the beast within was simply to dominant for the voice to be more than a small annoyance.
Abscis started as the smaller of the two Majins stared directly at him, locating him instantly! Frozen for half-a-second, the hunter quickly ducked down behind a fallen log. Suddenly, the memory clicked. He had seen that Majin before, fought with it in fact! She was strong, and likely knew exactly where she is.
Deciding on the direct approach, the bio-android slithered over the log, emerging from the trees, slowly and cautiously. "Helo! What people doing?" Sorry about quality, been having a bad week and wanted to get something out.

So the other majin was missing their sister? That was quite sad indeed, maybe if they both could grow strong thought hey could find her! It wasn’t the worst idea she thought so why not pitch it? “Hey, I have an idea? How about we look for your sister together? Four eyes are better than two after all!” She would help and pitch, after all, if majin stuck together, maybe they could grow strong enough to be able to find where this majin’s sister was and complete her own goal of unlocking the purest of their forms. At least to her this didn’t seem to be the worst idea, but who was to say what would happen? Anything and everything could, and all that could be said was that time would have to move forward for them to see. However even Isabella couldn’t help but smile at the thought of making a friend who could grow strong as well.
It did seem however that she wasn’t the only one to have noticed the strange ki, she almost herself would have noticed Liari here knowing until she noticed her eyes, they weren’t staring at her, but behind her. The same way that strange ki was located. “Well Liari my name is Isabella Claire, I have a goal to become the strongest I can. That’s why I was looking to loot from here and see if there was anything I can use for my training equipment.” Isabella would exchange her own choice of words, albeit short. There was however a sudden pause before… Isabella quickly turned a one hundred and eighty degrees with the upper half of her body to fire a blast towards the ki she was sensing. She didn’t really care all too much if it hurt the creature or not, she didn’t trust anyone sneaking behind her...ESPECIALLY if they just shout a random hello. She did not like surprises much if at all. Still it seemed this wasn’t the only ki, for it seemed there was another nearby as well. This one quite strange in itself. So many new energies...so many surprises...how many were here?

Liari was shocked how eagerly the pink majin before her jumped to her side, happily offering to help. Why would she do something like that for someone she never met...? Liari didn't know her... She didn't know Liari and while she should be suspicious of her enthusiasm... The majin only smiled warmly up at her, thankful for her aid... Perhaps it was the fact she was her own kind that made this easier... Maybe it was because she was genuinely kind to her despite Liari's abrasive greeting... Whatever it was, she was already happy to be alongside this girl she'd just met.
The the girl introduced herself as Isabella Claire, a name surprisingly human for someone such as she... In fact, she'd heard the name thrown around a lot on earth since she'd woken up here... Did this mean she grew up on this planet? Isabella went onto explain that she had the goal of becoming the strongest she could and that the reason she was looting this camp was for some kind of training equipment. She spoke so fluidly too... Almost as good as Liari did and that was... nice...? Some people liked to talk slowly, using simple words or using broken speech when talking to the little blue majin, almost as if they thought she was stupid. With Isabella conversing with her as an equal... it only made her appreciate the other majin more.
"I... thank you..." Liari smiled, still unsure of her new friend's purposes but not really caring either. "Um... I have some lighter weights I'm not using if that would help..." Liari dug around in her pockets with one hand before noticing Isabella's pause, almost as if she was giving her shorter companion some kind of signal. So... she sensed him too, huh...? And that power was approaching from behind her as well... Liari subtly, nodded, her head moving only the tiniest bit before suddenly, Isabella whirled around, firing a Ki-blast at the approaching power's position. Liari followed suit, springing above Isabella, bringing her hands together in front of her and firing off a small Ki-blast herself, intent on intercepting where her friend's would strike from above.
"YOU!" Liari hissed, calling out the power she recognized as that BUG Abscis.... the one that tried to eat her. "I'll beat you this time!"
