The two seemed better off to take matters with each other a bit away from the crowd. Both sides seemed to give them that much room. The distance given really allowed the young flame to hear all the drivel Tomina had to retort with. The young flame was starting to have some second thoughts on who had the more disgusting outlook between her and Nasu. This "Lettis" chick her brother failed to mention aloud had risen a sickening child. She and Flare seemed to portray blackened mirrors of one another. Opposite reflections that are oppose each other so greatly. The fiery orbs surrounding Flare's fists had shot a few blasts up towards the younger flame before the purple beam starting shooting towards her. The elemi managed to close the distance greatly between the two, only being back a couple of meters once she put her empowered fists to the Galick Gun to stop it in its own path.
Flare wasn't expecting the power put behind it. The elemi struggled in the air for a moment to keep the now more powerful blast from engulfing her. How in the devil did she manage that much of a energy spike? Was it that weird tail she had made herself from the hot blue flames she possessed? Was that some sort of transformation? It didn't feel like it. The struggle felt like Flare should have been winning out of merit. The battle of power was a losing one real quick though, the purple beam sparking and letting loose purple stings against the palms of her extended empowered fists. Steadily, Flare would start being pushed back in the air marginally by the second.
"You're ignorant! You'd have far worse things at hand if that awful mother of yours was able to do ANY of that! You think my kind wouldn't be around, even under that pressure!? I'M AN UNWAVERING FLAME! It's not us creating the problem, you dense girl. I can't speak for the others but I made it my priority to protect! I even helped with your damned planet! There's a real good reason I am here; I have a home to protect, and collectively your damned army of elites was much more a threat than Jarvis wished he could be." The crackling purple beam would start blasting off bits of her own attack's energy, throwing off wide whips of flame from her body as it started digging into the young Flame's hands and forearms. Continually pushing her back with an uttered growl. She could push herself, but doing so with something so physical seemed a path to make herself wide open. But this was going to hurt if she didn't do anything about it.
"Then you admit it's nothing to do with who you are but how you were raised! How you were neglected! You were raised worse off than your dickish king! Left by a considerably flawed man and then brought up by people who made you be that way, wasn't it? I have my doubts that most of your comrades did anything as you claim yourself to do. I don't think anything but bad influence are all that it takes to get the majority of people to follow in line under all this 'saiyan' crap, so I'm not surprised you are so stuck in your ways from day one! Why most other Saiyans aren't like you and your higher ups! That's what separates my trials and yours Tomina! I had friends and proper family to take care of me, to make sure I wouldn't falter and curl up into a tearful ball of pathetic proportions or go on some cruel escapades!" While she really didn't know the saiyan way all too personally she was definitely making an argument for culture rather than something based on whatever saiyan blood. She would say more but she started feeling her arms give out against the constant beam being shot at her. Eventually the entirety of of her own attack would be shoved to the side in a final wisp of hot flame as the Galick Gun smashed into her bare hands and held only for a second before the intense purple beam engulfed the entire young flame in its wake. Saying it hurt was an understatement as she yelled from the sheer impact.
Saying it was the worst pain she felt wasn't right though. Plenty worse things in the world she's felt personally. As she was flung from the blast with a trail of smoke following behind it seemed she was just knocked cold from the hit, her hair put out for more than several moments and her body covered in smolder and purple aftershock from the galick gun. She'd fly the opposite way for a good while there, her body limp as she barely managed to keep herself awake through sheer anger and willpower. After a certain distance her acceleration reversed and her momentum slowed to a crawl as her body hovered rather motionlessly. Smoke from her previous fire hair now just slowly trailing from her head as she laid in the air face-up. It looked like she was out of commission.
A small... spark in her mind clicked as she barely opened her eyes to the visions of the cold darkened skies of the North, now looking even more gloom from the tree's disturbance. Such an attack wouldn't hold her down! She wouldn't be squandered by it! There was so much more she could do, so much more she could go through. Her body felt weary... it took a lot out of her, sure. She was pained to even try moving, her mind and body refusing to move. Where they refused to move her heart willed on. She stopped smoking suddenly and shook in her limp hover... until-
The young flame would quickly gain the stability to straighten herself up and stop herself from going any further, clenching her fists and reigniting her hair in a mighty roar. Still full of life and energy despite the injures sustained. In this sudden resurgence of fury she'd flash forwards several times in lightning-fast images of herself before coming up on Tomina a second time in quick succession, lighting her fists aflame as she tried beating down the girl who just spent herself with another viciously berserk attack.
"YHAAAAAAAAAAAAH! IS THAT ALL YOU'VE GOT!? THAT WAS NOTHING! KOMA COULD SPIT AT ME HARDER THAN THAT! I'LL MAKE YOU WISH I WAS BACK THERE FIGHTING JARVIS! I'LL MAKE YOU WISH I WAS AT HOME WATCHING ALL MY TAILS! NOT HERE, HAvING TO KICK SOME PEOPLE'S ASSES!" After a few of the blows Flare would attempt to grab Tomina by her hair and pull her up and up in her grasp. Whether this would hurt her or not wasn't certain but she definitely wanted a dominating grasp on the girl as the young flame tried coming at her again with blows to the face and torso. She looked beat up, but she was powering through anything that blast did to her.
"I'VE FOUGHT MONSTERS MUCH MIGHTIER THAN YOU! MORE FEARSOME FOES! DO YOU THINK YOU CAN HOLD A CANDLE TO ME!? I CAN BEAT YOU WITH MY WILL ALONE! I'LL BEAT MY RESOLVE INTO YOU!" She'd continue yelling, grabbed hair or not, going at Tomina with more vicious blows. Stamina: 2/5 -> 3/5 for no techs used.
Power: [Mastered Super Elemi (x38/x36): 16,211,332/15,358,104]
Flare's Wildfire is switched off, returning modifier values to normal and making it so Flare managed to barely survive the decimating Super Galick Gun! She's going back at Tomina now with AD Melee for 3,242,266/3,071,621 PL, including various multiple strikes and a grab.
Base [x+1/x+0], Enrage [x2], Mastered Power [x5], Super Elemi [x13], Attuned Super Elemi [x20], Unleashed Super Elemi [x32/x24], Mastered Super Elemi [x35], True Elemental [x45], False God [x56/x55] True God [x60]
Various fights had cropped up all around. It seemed as though everyone had picked out their opponents. There were a few fights that likely wouldn’t last too long, but for the most part things seemed to be evenly matched, given the strength of everyone who had decided to fight. Right now Tomina had her full attention on Flare, despite the crap Chris had spewed from his mouth. Although it ultimately didn’t matter. If Nasu didn’t kill him, then either Miso or Karota would finish him off after they were done mopping the floor with their opponents. Speaking of mopping the floor with someone,
Flare was struggling to fight back against the attack she had sent her direction. Although she still managed to run her mouth in spite of that. Well, that wouldn’t go on for much longer either. She would likely break the Elemi before the fight was over. If that didn’t happen, then her death would shut her up. People weren’t exactly social after dying.
“You keep using that word to insult me, but all it really does is highlight your own ignorance. My mother didn’t like competition. She would have enslaved the Elemi and Earthlings, killing anyone who could potentially rise up against her. The Saiyan Alliance gave you the chance to reach the level of power you’re at. Speaking of Caesar, I think you’re making a grave mistake underestimating him like this. Since all of Earth’s strongest fighters are here, it’s only a matter of time before he kills the others who are fighting against him. At the very least everyone around him right now will die. He might just up and blow up Earth though. You’ve likely already forgot since you’re such a stupid creature, but as I said before, I would love it if he did that.”
Tomina seemed sure that Caesar wouldn’t come and interfere with the battle going on right here. Although she was keeping track of him whenever she had the opportunity to do so, just in case. His energy seemed to be fluctuating in a weird way. His ki signature was different than before. It wasn’t just an increase in strength: it was as though he was turning into someone else. <That bastard and his weird abilities. I have no idea what he’s doing, but it can’t be good. I’m going to have to find a way to deal with him permanently. Even if I could kill him, he’ll just keep on coming back again and again. That undead freak is going to give me a headache that will last for years. At least his actions are benefiting me at the moment.>
Putting thoughts of that menace aside for the moment, Tomina focused full attention on the fight she was currently in. She smirked as the purple energy beam began to overwhelm Flare’s attack. Flare certainly had a bit more overall power than her, but the Super Galick Gun more then leveled the playing field. This wasn’t the first time she had faced someone stronger than her, and it likely wouldn’t be the last. She would crush all her enemies, regardless of how strong they were.
“I wasn’t neglected. I was forged into the ultimate weapon. Time has evolved me further than that though. I am the Knight who swings Lettis’s sword at her foes. That sword is about to pierce your very soul. You’ll soon experience what it’s like to be at the other end of my mother’s ultimate technique. It serves you right, you arrogant crap spewing torch! You spit out shit with every word you say! You know nothing about me or what drives me! I have my duty to uphold, and I will complete my mission even if it kills me!”
Tomina watched with glee as her attack tore through Flare’s and hit her directly. Her tail of flames waved back and forth as a deafening explosion was created from the impact. The purple energy expanded outward, sending waves of blue energy flying out in all directions. It would be visible to everyone miles around it, and would be noticeable despite some of them being in fights of their own. Even if Flare had dodged the main blast, she would have still sustained heavy damage. When the smoke cleared, Flare seemed to be almost out of it. If it weren’t for the fact that she was floating in midair, Flare would be knocked out by the damage she had received. <Ha! Serves that bitch right! Even if it didn’t kill her, she’s going to feel that blast if she gets up again. I bet it’ll hurt just to move her muscles. She talks a good game, but she can’t back any of it up.>
Tomina was breathing heavily, sweat running down her brow as her chest rose up and down. That attack had taken a lot of energy out of her, although she had made sure to save a little bit. Anything could happen in a battle this big, so she didn’t want to completely overexert herself. Although a few seconds later, she would wish that she had gone on in and risk it all. Flare got up, lunged forward, and grabbed her by the hair before proceeding to hit her with a flurry of blows. The shocked Tomina had no time to react, especially given how tired she was after firing her strongest move.
The Saiyan hybrid didn’t stay stunned for long though. She threw a right hook at Flare, and a series of kicks and her stomach. Regardless of whether not they would hit, it was all meant to create some distance between her and her opponent. She flew backward out of Flare’s grip, landing on her feet a short distance away. Tomina looked down at the ground, obscuring her face from few. She wiped off blood dripping from her nose on her sleeve.
“So that is how you decided to deal with my attack. I made some modifications to the original technique my mother taught me. If you had tried dodging it, that would have been the end of you. I figured you would try reducing the damage by putting more energy your attack. Yet you chose to conserve your energy and endure it. That’s absolutely MARVELOUS!!!”
Tomina’s head snapped up, an ecstatic grin plastered on her face. Despite the bruises and blood on her face, she didn’t seem to be discouraged at all. No, she felt thrilled that she was about to partake in a battle like this.
“Now that's what I'm talking about! We really are related cause DAMN! You just went and powered through my strongest technique like it was nothing, and punched the shit out of me! That’s the spirit Flare! Fight me til your skin rots off and your bones turn to ash! Embrace the pain you're feeling! Hold onto it! Feeling it means you’re still alive! COME AT ME FLARE!!!”
Tomina shouted in glee, taking a fighting stance and shifting her feet. She was confident that she would be the victor of this battle. Although Flare was going to give her a fight to remember, even after taking all that damage. It had been a long time since she had an even fight with someone. The adrenaline rush that came with being pushed to her limits, the pain that all the fighters went through, she was going to savor every bit of this battle.
[WC=1,289] [TWC=6,090]
Tomina's PL: 15,374,762/10,114,975
Tomina takes flare's Melee strike to the face, and immediately counterattacks with her own AD melee for 3,074,952/2,022,995 PL, throwing multiple punches and kicks.
Seems the abstract amounts of persistence paid off. Flare found purchase against the mouth and chest of the naive girl several times in her rush outside of the blast. The elemi was by no means expecting mere punches alone to do as much damage as that blast did but... she did good to draw some blood. Aside from friendly sparring and an unmentionable event this'd actually be the first time she managed to do such a thing. She wouldn't get it free though. Tomina started recoiling with her own flurry of blows and nearly caught the young flame off guard. In such close proximity the elemi's flames regressed and helped her bob and weave around the girl's own blows, the only landing being her push away from Flare. It was fine by Flare as she needed breathing room a bit as well.
She was hunched over for just a moment to wipe away blood and explain to Flare her technique. And she only straightened back up with the most gleeful expression. It was a little unsettling, at best. She's seen Jarvis do much the same, and after so long the crazy aspect sort of dies off it. Some of what Tomina would see of the young flame once she managed to collect herself was indeed a number on her body. Flare had a large bruise on her neck and probably extending to her chest and torso from the Galick Gun. Some burn marks on her sides, but easily cauterized. She didn't seem at all afflicted by the pain most people would take out from this, adrenaline running far too high for the young elemi to see just how much damage she took.
"It didn't put me under because it was lacking! I've been through worse on rainy days! There was nothing but destruction behind it, and nothing like that can kill me off! Ya wanna know why? I've got a will you can't even begin to comprehend! I've been through enough to know that you can't silence me through that nonsense alone! I lived that life! And I've come out stronger for it! Maybe if you were any bit more superior as you claim to be you'd have seen that before you tried firing that thing!" Flare clenched her fire drenched fists and shook one a single time towards her niece. It wasn't enough that the girl constantly called her stupid and inferior; Jarvis already did plenty of that. No, what was infuriating to her was that Tomina thought she could get away with that inclination. Jarvis, Flare would eventually stop. But he was still far too strong to deal with. Tomina could be handled quite firmly with her own flames. They were, at this point, clearly talking past one another. Flare, perhaps thinking she could still reason with the girl.
"Your mother's a shoddy craftsman. Her technique failed, and her little Tomina's got nothing to show for it but a bloody nose! You'd be better off going your own way and being yourself rather than the tool you are! Lettis woulda, coulda, shoulda. But she didn't and wasn't able to. You can wish that she won however much you want, what matters now is that I'm standing here kicking your ass! That's how petty you are! You're fighting a battle that was lost years ago! A battle my auntie participated in! You think you're doing the world a favor by getting your asses handed to you AGAIN?
AND STOP CALLING HIM CAESAR. YOU'RE ACKNOWLEDGING HIS SELF APPOINTED GODHOOD! He picked that name after he got his damned wish! Jarvis was his true, dead to rights bastard of a name the lonely man had. I don't know what the hell he is now but that name was that of a man he used to be. So using it irks him! Makes his blood boil like it should! Like I'll make yours once I knock that light of yours out!" The heat drawn from the flames started gathering in her shaken fist now like it had previously, then the her other fist as well as large fires started engulfing their forms. It wasn't like that of her charged attack prior, but she was ramped back up now to whatever maximum potential she had before with her fiery attacks. Before making any further moves she'd give Tomina a bit of a stare down and begin speaking her mind again. To her detriment, perhaps.
"Now stand your ground, girl! I want you to survive this! I want to see that face of yours bruised and beaten, ready to talk some sense! So long as you stand up on two feet you provide an obstacle between me and protecting Earth, and just like any other one before it I'll jump it like a foot high hurdle! This will be even easier, so show me that superiority complex you've got! And once I'm done with you, I'll deal with Nasu and his bunch myself! If you think you're just going to tread on me like others have then think again!
I'll succeed because I'm not out to destroy lives! I'm not out to just do whatever! I'm here to stop others from doing that, and if it means Jarvis has to be distracted for a while then I'll take it to kick your ass! And kick everyone else's asses, then go back and kick his ass! I'll do it every time you come back, and every time he comes back! It's what I've made myself to be, what I forged myself to be. I'm not a weapon for anyone but my own desires, and I wish for people to stop being destructive lunatics! I'm willing to put the whole galaxy under my foot if I have to keep people in line to that end!" She'd roar as she kept her distance, pouring every ounce of her being into these newer fireballs circulating around her fists. She had every intention in making sure she'd make it clear what she was doing here and put Tomina in her place. Only then would she listen, maybe. To the former engineer made into a strong warrior, it was the only way to speak to people with thick skulls.
Stamina: 3/5 -> 4/5
Power: [Mastered Super Elemi (Wildfire +x3/-x3 | x41/x33): 17,491,174/14,078,262]
Reactivating Offensive Wildfire. She's dodging Tomina's initial flurry, then gonna send another at Tomina, this time her power increased. 3,498,235 AD Melee.
Base [x+1/x+0], Enrage [x2], Mastered Power [x5], Super Elemi [x13], Attuned Super Elemi [x20], Unleashed Super Elemi [x32/x24], Mastered Super Elemi [x35], True Elemental [x45], False God [x56/x55] True God [x60]
Normally Tomina would have been annoyed by the words sprouting from her Aunt’s mouth. Yet the Irritation from before was filtered out by the adrenaline rush her body was going through at the process of a good fight, and the fact that the overall battle was currently favoring the Saiyan Galactic Kingdom. Tomina’s wide grin remained on her face. That expression seemed permanently fixated there now. It was almost as if it was painted to her face by an expert artist.
“Your bravado is impressive, I’ll give you that. You took a hit from the Super Galick Gun and are claiming it did nothing to you. Not only that, but you’ve gone so far as to claim that you’re winning our fight just because you got a few punches in. Although a part of you must realize how rediculous you actually sound."
Tomina was taking the time of the lull in the fight to keep up with of what was happening on other parts of the battle field. She could sense that Chris had hurdled his spirit bomb towards Karota, an opponent who wasn’t focusing on him. That made Tomina hate him even more than what she already did, making her smile falter for just a moment. <That hypocritical shit-eating monkey fucker! He got up on his high horse the moment he showed up and condoned Kinoko for trying to shoot him in the back, along the the rest of our actions. And he goes and throws that ball of energy at someone who’s too busy fighting their own opponent to even realize an attack is being thrown at him. If Nasu hasn’t killed him by the time I’m done with Flare, I’m going to castrate the bastard before spilling his guts and raining them down from the sky!>
The attack seemed to have been weakened though for some reason. Tomina didn’t know what exactly happened, but she wasn’t going to complain about it. Especially since two enemy signatures were snuffed out. One of them was inconsequential, but the other one was the Super Saiyan 2 that had showed up with that yellow disk technique. The fact that he was out of the fight this quickly was huge for the SGK. Tomina’s grin widened again as she focused back on her aunt.
“I’ve always thought that you idealistic bunch are out of touch of reality. But I didn’t realize that you all shoved your heads so far up your own asses that you can’t see shit. Literally, you can’t see the shit that you swallow and then later spew out whenever you open your filthy mouths! Even though it wasn’t fully charged, you took a direct hit from my strongest technique. Yet you claim that you’re the one kicking my ass because you hit me with a few punches. You’re the most arrogant person I’ve ever met if you think that your fists are more powerful then my signature technique. They don’t even come close, you stupid conceited bitch!”
Tomina wiped the blood dripping down her face on her sleeve, being careful not to obscure her vision of her Elemi opponent. She didn’t want her sneaking in and getting another few surprise hits on her after all. Tomina was gleefully throwing all these insults at Flare. It had been a long time since she had enjoyed trashing someone verbally this much.
“Open your eyes and see reality! You talk bravely, but you can feel it, don’t you? You feel the pain of a body on the verge of collapsing. You can feel the energy of your allies being sniffed out like candles. It serves them right! The Queen of Earth finally admitted the truth. I now have proof that Earth actively fought with the Alliance to dethrone my mother. They spilled Saiyan blood on my homeworld! The Alliance did much worse than that though. I’ve been waiting 8 years for this day! 8 years to collect the debt that Earth owes the Saiyans, and to destroy the scum who follow Natto’s treacherous lies! Just a bit longer… just a bit longer until the Remnant Alliance is no more. Once they’re gone, the universe is ours for the taking!”
Tomina’s armed snapped out, her hand closing into a fist. She seemingly only grabbed thin air, but it was more than just that. Everything she ever wanted was almost within her grasp. She was so ecstatic over the prospect of finally obtaining her nearly decade long agenda that she wasn’t too annoyed when Flare told her to call Caesar by his old name. She simply scoffed, raising an eyebrow at her Elemi aunt.
“Why would I call him by what he was rather than what he is now? No, I don’t believe in this whole God nonsense that you lot worship. He’s an insane lunatic so far gone he probably doesn’t even know when he’s being insulted anymore. He’s still a mighty conquer though, and I will call the bastard by the title he earned. Besides, the one I want to exact vengeance on is Caesar, not the worthless piece of Brenchian slime that went by the name of Jarvis.”
What Flare said next made Tomina’s head jerk backward. It was only a slight motion that was barely noticeable. Her the motion of her eyes snapping open and her smile vanishing from her face were impossible to miss though. Her eyelids twitched rapidly, and she clenched her fists so tightly that blood leaked out from between her fingers. Out of all the insults and attacks Flare had thrown at her, this was the first time Tomina looked visibly shaken by something.
“You’re…. just like those Alliance trash. It’s one thing to be defeated: the strong crush the weak, that’s the way things are. But to claim the moral high ground, to say that everything that I believe in is wrong and that I’m evil when you all are just as rotten as the people you detest…”
Tomina lowered her fist, glaring at Flare coldly. Her tail of flames twitched with agitation as a aura of blue blames surrounded her. This was unlike any hatred Tomina had displayed to her aunt before. This was more personal, this was far more than just being simply pissed off. The tone her voice took became so cold, that the words came out of her mouth seemed sharp enough to cut into Flare like icy daggers.
“I could sense you intercepting Caesar before you came here. I presume those other signatures in that area are your comrades. Tell me, what kind of eulogy did you give them before you left them to die? Did you tell them how brave they were for fighting a battle they can’t possibly win? Did you thank them for their sacrifice before you ran away to save your own worthless hide? You’re brave when you’re stronger than your opponent, and trash talk your enemies when you have comrades that will fight the people stronger than you in your stead. Yet it's a different story when you have to fight someone stronger than you without Komatsu and Chris nearby. You’re nothing more than a tiny mutt who barks at any perceived threat. When your masters aren't around, you run with your tail tucked between your legs like the coward you are.”
When Flare threw her next series of attacks at her, Tomina began to deactivate her bulking ability. It was good when she needed a bit more power behind her attacks, but it wasn't good for an extended blow for blow fight with an enemy. This time around Tomina skillfully dodged the attacks Flare sent her way. She was still glaring at her aunt with those cold eyes of hers.
"I'm not one of your weakling pupils you decided to take under wing. I am a true Saiyan warrior. Quit insulting me with this pathetic display and come at me with the intent to kill! I don't need to suffer your judgmental crap. I'd rather die holding onto my own believes then let you try and hammer in your bullshit ideologies into me."
Blue flames surrounded Tomina's fists and she moved in on Flare, sending of flurry of blows the Elemi's way. Her fists swung at her, and she sent a knee flying towards Flare's stomach. The heat these attacks sent off could be easily felt by her aunt, even if they didn't Tomina was not letting up one bit against her relative. The battle between these two was now truly underway.
[WC=1,510] [TWC=7,600]
Tomina begins the process of deactivating her bulking.
Tomina's PL: 15,374,762/10,114,975
Tomina dodges Flare’s attacks. She then follows up with her own AD Melee barrage for 3,074,952/2,022,995 PL.
Flare witnessed, from the sidelines, as some of the other battles winded down after rather quick decisions. A grimace coming over her face as she realized some of these people couldn't handle the opposition, most of which were on the Earthling's side. It didn't really seem like it'd end up this way until it was too late for any of them. Up this high in the food chain it was like that, really. And here these two were, nearly on top of that. Relatives, barking at each other from different sides of the metaphorical room. Blood still pumping the two were going at it even as Flare heaved a long sought after sigh. It was a bit tiring having such a polar opposite denounce the elemi so vocally. It was like talking to a brick wall. Or a Jarvis.
"Do I look phased, girl!? It'll take a lot more than that to put me under if that is what you're doing! If you think you've such the advantage then you'd have already finished me off! I don't have to tell you that though, let me show you again and again just how resilient I am when it comes to the likes of you! I'm still full of adrenaline, you've got a bit of a hiccup in your step! And if you think not running around and crushing other civilizations out of lust for battle is idealistic then I've got no words." At this point she was almost just talking crap to talk crap, rolling her shoulder with a smirk as Tomina stalled out a bit with her own talking. At this point they did a lot more shouting past each other than fighting. It'd only get progressively worse as her niece brought up Lettis, the alliance and that whole thing about dethroning the saiyan queen that threatened planets by conquering what she could. And Flare was called delusional and reality denying? It started to dawn on her how indoctrinated Tomina was beyond just being a dick like her leaders.
"You poor thing. Do you stop for a moment and think why that might have been the case? Could it possibly have something to do with the fact she was a monstrous conqueror? Of course you didn't think of that. None of you simple-minded monkey heads do! Nasu thinks that just because he destroyed that damned tree means he's absolved of something!? Like he didn't fucking plant it and ruin the planet for a lot of people! And here you are, rambling on like Earth owes anyone anything for getting rid of people like your mother. For trying to rid of people like Jarvis! Do you get how backwards your thinking is?
And on the topic of Jarvis! I'd rather piss him off than respect his 'earned' title. Whether he gets it or not is irrelevant, I'm fighting against the mere idea he's a god! Which he ain't! Where do you get off saying me or any of us worship him? Are you just ignoring me at this point?! I reckon you are! Otherwise you'd know why I'm claiming the high ground here! You got me, girl? I didn't come here just because I wanted to beat up some 'poor souls', I came here to smash your faces for coming onto my planet! I didn't come up here with the intention of even fighting, everyone just devolved into it! That your way of dealing with issues, so it'll be! But don't stand there and look me with that precious little face of yours and tell me defending my home and other's livelihoods isn't of greater moral value than threatening a planet, its people, and just overall being an absolute supremacist outside of this? Hello?"
She couldn't really believe Tomina was this far out that she'd have to act condescending. Flare was usually above straight out explaining it like a teacher to a elementary student but eventually those buttons were pressed and she felt obligated to shove that 'we're all morally wrong' rhetoric right up her bum where it belonged. The change in the girl's demeanor gave pause to some of her thought, the blue aura surrounding her not changing the fact Flare was pissed and would remain firmly with her fists at the ready. But then... Well, Tomina got way too personal with her. For the most part, playing off the whole alliance and defender angle against Flare only warranted agitated responses. Yeah, she was playing safe dealing with that flame and not bothering with the coals underneath. Assuming the young flame only fought the weaker opponents and hid when the odds were against her? Every word she started speaking from the made the fires around Flare erupt ever so slightly, luminosity peaking above her standard several times as she nearly drew blood clenching her fists.
"NOOOOO!" She'd hunch over to contain something within this newfound anger before forcing herself to release it in a furious yell. Cracked earth beneath her expanding, hot gases, debris and flames being released from the dying earth here. Said stuff seemed to start swirling around flare, parts of it heat being ingested into her form as her own flames erratically flared up in a display of power. At first it was nothing more than an expelling, like any normal being doing this while already being at their max would display.
Flare wasn't exactly normal now. Suddenly wild jets of steaming gas and fire shot out rapidly around her now, the ecstatic flames jumping around flare. Her power rose tremendously quickly with her absolute, pure anger. It was unlike anything seen before. Anything Flare felt before. It was a maddening amount of energy, and she hadn't et herself go this angry in a while. Was this what happened when an elemi decided to let all that emotion go?

"YOU DON'T KNOW ME! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAD THE STRENGTH TO DEAL WITH ONE OF YOU BASTARRRRRDS! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I'VE HAD TO HANDLE PEOPLE SEVERAL TIMES OVER WHO WERE SO MUCH STRONGER THAN ME! I CAME HERE BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME OFF DOWN THERE, YOU CLOD! I WAS NEEDED UP HERE TO KEEP YOUR ASS IN CHECK! HOW DARE YOU THINK OF ME AS A COWARD, YOU DAMNED BASTARD OF A GIRL!" The anger was only strengthened by the fact she felt the weaker earthling perish before her senses, and... Shizen was nowhere to be felt now? Huh. She wasn't paying too close attention down there, really focused on shouting down her opposition here. This all happened as soon as Tomina came down at her, the young flame easily blocking the attacks this time rather than ducking and weaving with her bare hands, eventually stopping the girl's knee short with a single hand. Oh, she could feel the heat alright. Eventually the earth around Flare settled down a bit but her new power kept raising unpredictably with the flames.
"IDEOLOGIES? HOW MANY TIMES DO I GOTTA HAMMER IT INTO YOUR HEAD THAT I'M AGAINST IDEOLOGUES LIKE YOURSELF!? MAYBE I GOTTA POUND IN MY MESSAGE!" Within this close proximity to her niece the young flame started channeling her wild flames into hr fists, very akin to whn the two first began. The immense amount of strength being put behind it now channeling into focused fire balls around her enveloped fists. This time it'd be Tomina who would start feeling this enormous heat radiate between the two as she leaned over to growl at her face. Stamina: 4/5

Tomina’s attack was easily blocked by the fire Elemi, which was what Tomina expected to happen. In fact, most of the battles were going about as Tomina expected. She noted with pride that Rensu had managed to unlock his Super Saiyan transformation. It seemed like he seemed to have a slight advantage, going by what she was sensing. Tarro’s battle was too close to call either way. A lot of power was being thrown around in that fight though. Unfortunately not everything was going her way. Tomina’s widened as she felt Carva’s energy vanish. He was not the type of guy to go for sneak attacks or try and run away. A scowl appeared on Tomina’s face.
<That fucking idiot! He leaves without authorization, forgoes training under me, and gets himself killed. I spent so much effort trying to properly mold him, and now it's all been wasted. That mutt is going to wish Carva had been the one to kill him: his death will not be pleasant.>
Tomina then felt someone telepathically try to contact her. It was the Kai of all people. She debated whether or not to let this individual enter her mind, but eventually she decided to let her in. She could easily push her out with Natto’s technique if worst came to worst. As she listened in, it became clear that this was a question meant for everyone. Tomina decided to humor this Kai for the time being.
<Why are we fighting each other? You ask a simple question with a complicated answer. There isn’t just one reason as to why we’re doing. Still if you want to know, then I’ll tell you why, “God.” If you truly do have Kyuri’s memories, then you’ll be able to confirm everything that I’m about to tell you. The short version is this is the result of Natto’s actions. But you don’t want to hear a boring short answer. You want a detailed explanation, don’t you?>
This mental conversation was happening faster than the more conventional method of using her voice. Tomina didn’t have to pause for breath if she didn’t want to. So she continued on with her detailed explanation of things to the Kai.
<32 years ago, the Saiyan Empire was at the height of its power. My mother, Queen Lettis, had finally triumphed over the Planet Trade Organization. After two centuries of fighting, the Kold Demons and all who followed them now bowed before the might of the Saiyan race. Queen Lettis then set her sights on Earth to obtain the legendary dragonballs. If we could conquer a planet that had a set of them and rule it, then we would have been able to make wishes at our leisure. We would have been invincible, and the universe would be under the control of the Saiyan race!>
Flare had decided to open her big mouth again. Although at the moment she choose not to respond to her. She was keeping her eyes on the Elemi to see what kind of move she would make though. So far it seemed like she was still trying to convince her to stand down. Well if she wanted to waste her time doing that, that was fine with her.
<Apparently Natto didn’t care about the prosperity of our race. Since he betrayed the Empire during a critical moment in the battle, which ultimately led to a defeat. He then went and formed the Saiyan Alliance, openly defying Lettis. Eventually this resulted in the Alliance Empire war. I’m sure you know the rest of the story from there, since you have Kyuri’s memories. However, there’s a part to the story that even she wasn’t aware of. Or at the very least she didn’t get the full implications of this event.>
It was here where Tomina took a short break to address the fire Elemi. Her opponent would get a little bit suspicious if she didn’t respond in some way to what she was talking about. It seemed like a good place to leave the Kai temporarily hanging anyway. They would likely wrack their brain trying to figure out what detail they had missed. Tomina rolled her eyes at over what the Elemi had to say to her. God this woman was annoying.
“You must be blind as well as delusional if you think my movements are off enough to give you some kind of advantage. Crushing civilizations out of love for battle? I won’t deny that there have existed many Saiyans who fight only for that reason. I love a good battle myself, although my own enjoyment is always secondary to my prime objectives. I don’t fight for the sake of fighting: I have reasons for the things that I do. It’s idealistic to believe that you can get anything accomplished through coexisting with other races and living peacefully with them. You’ll never accomplish your goals if you aren’t willing to do everything necessary to see them realized.”
Once she got that verbal lashing out of the way, she once again threw another telepathic message at the Kai who had decided to contact her. Tomina didn’t know why she was bothering to have a conversation with them. It wasn’t like this was going to change anything. Still, she felt like she needed to make this individual understand exactly why things were the way they were.
<After Caesar wiped out what remained of the Empire, the ones that weren’t killed or used in experiments joined the Saiyan Alliance. I mean, where else could they go? They swallowed their pride and lived under Nasu. But that didn’t mean that they had tossed aside their beliefs. They still believed in the ways of the Empire Nasu himself eventually realized the idiocy of his father’s ideology. The Alliance became comprised of Saiyans with two different beliefs. In other words...>
Tomina didn’t keep the Kai in suspense for very long this time around. She did leave the words hanging long enough to make an impression. Although remaining quiet for too long this time around would result in a reaction that wasn’t the one she wanted to get out of the Kai.
<The Alliance splitting apart was inevitable. Natto's destruction only sped up the process. Our race didn’t unite after the fall of the Empire: we remained, and still are a divided race. All because Natto decided that the lives of inferior species were more important than the lives of his own fucking people! His lies and delusional beliefs split our race apart! It was bad enough that he invaded our homeworld and made us kill each other, but dividing our race and brainwashing them to follow his idealistic bullshit, that is unforgivable!>
Tomina grit her teeth, her aura flaring around her as the anger from long ago fame bubbling to the surface. Everything that was happening here today was bringing the past into the present. This was what Tomina wanted though. This time, she would settle things once and for all. And if that meant tearing through the annoying Elemi in front of her, then so be it.
“Of course you’d make a few enemies when you fight others. The possibility of losing a fight is always there. Death awaits those who fail in battle. I would have still been furious by the death of everyone I cared about, but it would have still been an outcome I could accept. But the things Natto did were so much worst than simply destroying everything that I cared about. Earth played a part in those attrocities though. Genocide is one thing, but turning us against one another, making us fight people we cared about, slaughtering his own race while claiming it was for the greater good. That devil had no right to look down on us from his high horse!”
Tomina’s anger flowed into her mind smoothly. It transitioned perfectly from the emotions she felt towards Flare and added onto the emotions that were building up from talking about her past. They built on one another, Tomina’s voice getting more and more intense as time went on.
<Everything that is happening right now is because of him! If we had remained united, we would have conquered Earth! Caesar was able to take over Vegeta and rise to power because Natto killed everyone who could stand up to him! The universe should be under the rule of the Saiyans. Instead we’re on the brink of extinction. Natto invaded my homeworld, making Saiyans fight each other to the death! Some of the people I killed were former comrades!>
Tomina clenched her fists, her eyes narrowing at her aunt. She was just like the rest of those heros. She didn’t understand anything at all. It was pissing her off to no end. Her fiery tail was twitching, like it was about to strike out at Flare.
“You stupid fuck, you just don’t understand. I’ve never once thought I’ve had the moral high ground against anyone. I’m just another being trying to accomplish their goals and ideals. Nasu destroying the tree doesn’t redeem him. Being a true Saiyan means accomplishing your goals no matter what. Even at the expense of others, and ourselves. If there’s a hell, we’re all going there when we die. I killed an entire species when I was just 3 years old. Do you honestly think that someone like me has a chance at redemption? What’s the point of changing now? If some good can come out of doing horrible things, then I’ll do them without hesitation.”
Tomina’s voice sounded so bitter as she said this. The anger was still there, and drove what she said next to the Kai. Yet another emotion was crawling itself to the surface.
<Do you think I enjoyed killing people I once fought with? I had to murder people who I would have shed my blood for! Fellow Saiyans that fought together and talked about their exploits to one another! I killed them, and they fought and killed their former comrades still loyal to the Empire!>
After she said that, the anger began to fade from her. Tomina’s firey aura dimmed significantly from what it was. Every word she directed at the Kai seemed to take all her willpower to throw out. She seemed so… defeated in that moment.
<Most of my family died that day. I... cremated what was left of my sister myself. The person who I cared about more than anyone died saving me, and was killed by the hands of a Saiyan who was once a part of our squad. When Caesar killed Athren, I became the last of my bloodline. The last….>
Tomina broke off, her head hanging low towards the ground. The fiery aura around her faded away completely. She hadn’t exited her transformation or powered down, but she didn’t seem as overwhelmed by anger is before. Tomina reached up, rubbing her eyes with her sleeve. In this moment, she almost looked like a normal girl.
Then Flare’s power exploded after she sent some more words in her direction. The fiery aura blazed back into being around the Saiyan hybrid. Tomina lowered her arm, raising her head and giving the Elemi a chilling smile.
“It’s a terrible feeling, it isn’t? You’re beginning to realize that your true self isn’t what you want it to be. I felt that way a long time ago. You claim that you came here to defend your home. I mean, a part of you probably wants to. After all this is the place you decided to settle down in. But the truth of the matter is you care more about your own life then the life of everyone else. At the very least, some lives are more valuable than others.”
Tomina felt Caesar power up to a new form. The level of power he was display now was on par with anything Koma could dish out. She didn’t understand why he no longer considered him a serious threat. His aura felt different from before too. Tomina couldn’t quite place of, but it was almost as if he had become someone else entirely. He certainly was a lot stronger than she expected. Well, she had plenty of time to catch up to him. For now she focused on the fire Elemi, her grin slowly fading from her face. Her icy cold eyes were staring so intently that seemed to being trying to pierce Flare’s soul.
“You now have enough power to make a difference, yet you choose to to come here rather than help your comrades fight Caesar. There are people here strong enough to handle me, especially if they decided to team up. And now the Tree of Might is no longer posing a significant threat to the Earth. The damage has been done to speak. Yet you engaged me anyway, rather than going back and fighting alongside your comrades. Those are the actions of someone who's too scared to face a potential loss, and everything that comes with it.
Tomina did not relent at all with how harsh was being to Flare. Despite being her aunt, she was coldly lashing out at her for the actions she had taken in order to fight her niece, and did not hold back at all.
“The truth is that the immediate threat this battlefield posed to the Earth died with the tree. Nasu isn’t going to blow up the Earth when he has this many comrades on it. Yet despite that you still chose to go after me rather then go back to fight Caesar. In the grand scheme of things, the death toll of this battle won’t even reach a hundred. But thousands of Earthlings in that city will die at the hands of that creature.”
Tomina let that sink in for Flare. Going by the energy she was sensing, there was no way in hell those people stood a chance against Caesar. Soon one of the most powerful beings in the universe was going to be entirely unopposed on this planet. Who knew what he would do once that happened?
“So either you’re fighting someone with a lower power level then you out of self preservation, or you care more about certain people here then you do the people you abandoned to fight Caesar and the Earthlings in that city. Either way it’s only natural. Caesar’s Power is so monstrous that you might not have won even if you all teamed up on him. The latter is something I understand very well. Although the people I cared about the most died a long time ago. There’s no one left that I care about enough to toss aside my comrades for. You still have people who you care about strongly though. You said so yourself, that you grew up on Earth around those you consider friends. If it’s the latter, then who here is worth sacrificing an entire city of Earthlings for?”
Tomina felt one of the strong auras opposing Caesar vanish completely. Now there was only one person left to protect the Earthling City. That person was strong, but was nowhere close to having the power that his opponent possessed. While Flare was trying to process that, she decided to talk to the Kai again. Her cold tone of voice also came in clear through the mental connection.
<You asked the wrong question, “God.” The real question is “why shouldn’t we be at each other's throats? Nasu and the rest of my comrades in the SGK have come to their senses and realized the truth. Natto’s idealistic crap dragged our race down!We will do restore the Saiyan race to its former glory. Anyone who opposes us is an enemy that we will destroy! We fight for our pride and the pride our fallen comrades. To repay every wrong inflicted to the Saiyan race a million fold! And we’re going to enjoy the fights that are to come!>
Tomina’s pitch varied when talking to the Kai, despite talking in the same cold tone that Flare was being subjected to. Tomina decided to drive the nail completely in and push Flare even further. Although there was a purpose behind her words that had nothing to do with the fight she was in.
“You claim yourself to be a protector, but you’re just as rotten as most other people. The truth is there’s only a handful of good, decent people that exist. Regardless of the reasons, you abandoned your comrades to fight a battle they couldn’t win. You willingly came here knowing that they stood no chance. Now only one of your comrades stands against Caesar. And one he dies; that monster will kill every single human in the city. That’s the best possible result brought about from your selfish actions. No one has the stand above others and claim to have the moral high ground. We’re all too evil to claim that our beliefs are right and everyone else’s are wrong.”
Flare started charging up an attack. It appeared to be the same technique from before. Tomina responded in kind, putting both of her hands together and gathering up purple energy. It look as though both combatants were preparing for the exact same clash that had taken place at the beginning of their fight.
“You missed the point earlier. Defending your home is a good cause to fight for. But you care less about defending your home then you do your own life. You have no right to tell me that my actions are wrong. You’re just like me, and you hate it. You hate how truly vile you are! Natto hated his true self too. Before he formed the Alliance, he was an Empire Saiyan just like me. He killed countless people on my mothers orders. He couldn’t accept how evil he was either. He couldn’t accept how dark the universe was. So he went and founded the Alliance, and made the planet Natto into a bubble that shielded them from reality.”
As the energy for their attacks gathered, Tomina’s fiery aura grew brighter and brighter. Her tale of flames wrapped around her waist, securing itself in preparation for what was bound to come at her direction.
“You look down at us for everything that we’ve done. Tell me, what’s the difference between using a bio weapon knowing that Earthlings will die because of it, or knowingly abandoning your comrades and an Earth city knowing full well that they will all die? You can’t be naive enough to believe that they actually had a chance. At least something came out of our actions. All your actions did was cost lives. Knowing full well that people will die if you don’t protect them and abandoning them anyway is the same as pulling the trigger yourself. You killed those humans and your comrades, because you weren’t willing to put your life on the line to save them. You went to the safer place instead and got into a battle you have a higher chance of winning. Although even that chance is plummeting fast. You and I are no different, murderer.
Tomina took the time to address the Kai one last time. There were just a couple more things she wanted to get out to them while she had the chance to do so.
<I have my own reasons for doing things. Although if you truly are a God like you claim you are, then you can figure it out for yourself. Ask Karen if you want to know the true reasons behind my actions. I doubt you can do that though. The afterlife, Tomoroko coming back, it’s all elaborate smoke and mirrors. It’s an impressive conspiracy, I’ll give you that much. But you’re nothing more than self-proclaimed deities trying to control the universe. You’re no different from Caesar or the Kold Demons. I bet the rest of your species is just as arrogant as you and that one that tried stopping us on Brench was.>
There was their chance. The only way that Tomina would ever believe them is if she saw physical proof of the afterlife. She followed along with others whenever they talked about it. Although the truth of the matter was that She didn’t believe in it. At least, not in the same way that they did. People didn’t return from the dead. That was an undeniable fact in her mind.
<Speaking of that guy though, he himself proves that you aren’t Gods. He bled like everyone does. I have no doubt he would have died like everyone else too. You’re all inferior beings, like every other race that isn’t Saiyan. And a part of you must realize that: I mean, you did fuse with a Saiyan after all. After I deal with Flare, I’m going to either come after you or the mutt that killed my subordinate. If you’re smart, then you’ll run before I make up my mind. I hope you’re stupid and stay though. The Saiyan you fused with one of the Alliances most prominent members. I’ll drag you down from the heavens and into directly into hell.>
At first glance, it looked as though Tomina was charging the same attack as before. A closer examination would reveal that the blue energy that surrounded her Super Galick Gun wasn’t present. Tomina was using a different attack to shake things up.This was the better option available to her given the current circumstances. Tomina was glaring coldly at Flare, her eyes blazing with hatred. Her emotions were like a howling blizzard and a blazing fire raging around her.
“If there is an afterlife, I’m going to send you to it. When you get there, get down on your knees and beg forgiveness to the people you left to die. Beg for forgiveness from your comrades who died fighting Caesar. They knew they were going to die, yet they didn’t run when you ran. They fought for their home until the very end like true warriors. Give them the respect that they deserve, for you deserve none of it.”
Despite claiming that they were inferior beings, she seemed to hold some kind of respect for the people who were holding their ground to defend the Earth. It was clear that she thought very lowly of her aunt right now. Both combatants compared themselves for the next part of their battle. Their next moves could very well decide things.

Why, the girl started charging up that familiar purple blast she did before. Flare expected as much, given how loud they were both being. Tomina would definitely want to try ad match her aunt, yes? And the girls words only served to fuel the ever brighter fires the young flame collected around her fists. The amount of people around her vanishing, their own fights having ended, she felt them punch into her soul like being pelted with rocks. Stoned by the deaths of people she couldn't talk down or avoid conflict with. People she risked a city and homes, and Jie Shan, for. The damage had already been done, sure. Which is what made this even more infuriating. She couldn't do anything to reverse all this. At best she could do is pay these chumps back for sneaking here and planting that damned thing.
So Tomina had an actual goal? To defeat Earth? Flare didn't know or seem to give much of a damn about earths supposed involvement. The way she just pins the entire blue marble as a threat was the same shit she had to put up with when she witnessed Nasu first come to the lookout ages ago... She also brought race into the mix again, culminating in this hate machine that only did what it did for itself and it's elected people. Disregarding any other sort of body out of an anger for some members of said group. It was disgusting to Flare, as evident by her largely strained and angered expression she gave towards her niece. Yet there seemed to be something within the girl's speech that stuck with her. Could she be redeemed?

"This isn't an issue about race or ideals, this is you acting on generalizing the actions of an entire planet just because some of its warriors aided in some wrong you thought! I might be crazy to think there is still some good in people so vile, why do you think I bother trying to talk you down!? Stop it with this true saiyan rhetoric and look where it got you! Your planets have been killed off because some of your more noble minded would rather have a galaxy where the oppression of Nasu's like isn't acceptable! I guarantee if Jarvis or the Saiyan Kingdom were not an issue most of us would be working on forcing the Planet Trade's hand into either changing or forcibly withdrawing its hold on the galaxy! I sure would!" She couldn't speak for everyone, and she had to yell it out above the raging flames both of them possessed. It was getting increasingly hot in the cold north, no doubt their influence here was actually changing the temperature flow drastically. Most flames like this would have been burnt out but their own are eternal. Tied to their bodies. Heat and heat pour from them like they themselves were suns in the sky.
Tomina had to keep pushing her envelope however. Flare physically shook in her place as she kept accusing her of being a deserter. Of being selfish. She cherished her own life, sure, but this brat had no clue of what she put herself through to temporarily relieve the wrath of Jarvis from the world. Her Earth. Now she was trying to absolve herself of any punishment, why, beause her leader destroyed the thing that nearly killed the planet? This time her luminosity in flames was brought with a large, blinding flicker as she audibly growled. The air around her started sizzling ever louder.

EARTH COMMANDED ME YOU BE PUNISHED FOR DESTROYING A MAJORITY OF IT! Jarvis!? WHO GIVES A FUCK! YOU MADE YOUR CHOICE OF DRAGGING ME UP HERE THE MOMENT YOU STEPPED INTO MY MANSION AND IRRITATINGLY CHALLENGED ME SEVERAL TIMES THERE! YOU MADE YOUR CHOICE TO FACE ME WHEN YOU FOLLOWED BEHIND NASU AND HIS PLAN TO EVEN THINK OF TOUCHING THIS BLUE MARBLE! WHAT, I'M SUPPOSE TO GO "Oh, well it's okay now. he destroyed it! Better go back to all that earth and terrain that's been DEVASTATED BY THE DAMNED THING!? LET YOU ALL WALK OUT ON THIS? I'M MORE A PROTECTOR THAN YOU WISH YOU COULD EVER BE GIRL. MAYBE ONE DAY YOU'LL REALIZE THAT!
We're LEAGUES different! I didn't leave that place without making sure my allies could escort who was able to be outted from that already dead city by the time I got there! I'm sorry, but YOUR GUILT TRIP WILL NOT WORK ON ME! EVEN IF YOUR INTENTION NOW ISN'T DESTRUCTION YOU STILL POSE A DEADLY THREAT! HAVE ALREADY KILL THE NORTH! AND THIS WON'T BE THE LAST TIME YOU LOT TRY TO COME HERE TO THREATEN THE DESTRUCTION OR EVEN CONQUERING OF EARTH! THAT'S NOT HOW YOU WORK! NO, I'LL BREAK YOUR SPIRITS AND DETER ANYONE FROM TRYING AGAIN! MY FRIENDS WILL DIE HEROS, AND I A SAVIOUR IF NEED BE! AND WE WILL COME BACK EVERY TIME PEOPLE THROW WEIGHT AROUND ON THOSE WHO CAN'T LIFT IT! I'LL GIVE MY LIFE FOR IT, EVEN IF I BEAT IT DIRECTLY INTO EACH OF YOUR MEMBER'S SKULLS!" The charge in her hand had grown immensely, engulfing her forearms almost entirely now as the red aura surrounding her body expanded and swallowed up much of her body in its wake. The weight behind her own wounds started having affect on her body as she shook a bit at the knees. Remarkable she was still even up and able to shout down the halfling like this. It seemed to be Tomina herself that kept the flame going, her own persistence hounded on by the girl's ridiculousness and lack of empathy towards anyone. Something else seemed to keep her going though. A small spark of hope, as she felt and saw Chris and Koma do some weird technique... Never before seen. Well, at least to her. A light show of confusion, it was an alienating feeling. They felt the same as whomever they were before but not really. They were the same person, but different entirely.

JUST BECAUSE WE GOT HIT FROM ALL ANGLES DOESN'T MEAN WE'RE AT A LOSS!- I've got no one to beg, no one to let me be absolved of my sins to. I made my mistakes in the past, shedding light on a woman who is stronger than any of your trained warriors ever wished to be! Because I have passion! Empathy! I care for the little guy, and I'd be damned if I let your idle threats hold ANY ground! I WO-" But something suddenly invaded the back of her mind. Those blue, nasty vibes coming from the intruder that, despite being very familiar, had that weird dissonance about it. It almost felt like Shizen. Childlike, naive sounding. A child though? Wait... This was the same feeling she had with Koma and Chris doing whatever the hell it was they did. In fact this felt like what happened when Jarvis took that one woman on the lookout down and fus- No...
Bang.
"No... NO, THAT... THAT BLUE BASTARD! NO WAY, HE WOULDN'T HAVE! WHAT THE FUCK WOULDN'T HE DO!?!? I should... HAVE TAKEN HER WITH ME! I should have FOUND THE TIME TO! I SHOULD HAVE KILLED THAT CRETIN! I... NO! WHY DO I ALWAYS FUCK UP! WHY CAN'T I DO ANYTHING RIGHT!? I TRY TO DO WHAT'S BEST AND IT'S NEVER ENOUGH! AND I'M LEFT TO SUFFER AGAIN AND AGAIN!" The intensity of her voice rang throughout the battlefield. To the onlooker it'd seem like she was talking to ghosts, having gone insane from the battle itself. Her emotion was real though. This mix of anger, rage, and hate culminating into physical flames and debris as matter all around her sprung to life and jettisoned off from her explosive temperament. The earth sizzled and rumbled under her feet as her mere contact started melting the ground beneath her... Loud popping as the heat she gave off intensified several times off a normal campfire's yield. With this all going about around her this power she held started raising again tremendously. Flashbacks of Scion, her old teacher, and Ragnarok in her dreams popped before her vision. Taunting her, mocking her.
"So you have a new form too, huh? To bad it will do you no good, girl." She could almost feel the recoil in her head as she recalled the sensation of being thrown into pavement several times, only being held by her hair. This sudden flash of memories transitioned towards Ragnarok taunting her with Shizen, then Jarvis taking his place in the vision, then Shizen... vanishing. As if to complete this cycle of mental torment. All of this racked inside her head and she couldn't think much clearer anymore. It was as if every single bit of emotion the woman had ever felt coalesce into a single bundle of infinite intensity.
"AND WHAT, TRUST THE MAN WHO SINGLE HANDEDLY RUINED MY LIFE?!?! FUCK OFF, YOU'D KILL HIM ANYWAYS! YOU'VE NOT GOT AN HONEST BONE IN THAT WRETCHED BODY OF YOURS! GO PLAY WITH SOMEONE ELSE! HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The irony is that she wasn't even mentally contacting Caesar back on this. Her pure, unadulterated anger unseen by even him before would be lost on him. She had the power to keep him from prying on her words even, so to this vented frustration only Tomina and others up near this even heard her denounce him. As she yelled her flames started glowing a bright white for a moment as material started glowing a dim red, then shown white and molten, Earth, air, plant. All around her in a proximity, even under her, started boiling around her.
Her figure itself shown a bright white as she eventually became engulfed in plasma as the air around hr broke down from the extremity. The boiling ground beneath her shot her up into the air forcibly with a howl, the rest of the molten material expanding and following her to then engulf her boy entirely. A giant, bright white orb started spinning crudely high in the sky, the momentum and weight behind the newly formed object attracting more loose objects and the air around it. Cold North? This ball of fire that used to be Flare was putting off more than enough heat to give everyone a nice sauna As more and more of this loose material was picked and partitioned into the large object it started gaining more mass and ripping even bigger object and more of the surrounding air. As these new and bigger things collided with the sphere large waves of plasma and fire spread out magnificently with the extreme force and heat only Flare herself obtained up to that point. Much of it directed towards Tomina at several deadly intervals. This seemed more and more closely reminiscent of Flare's Torrent attack that she had used before once these large stretched of plasma got real close to the halfling saiyan.
As the sphere started comparing in size to what used to be the Tree of Might the thing more and more resembled a literal star in their skies. The radiation and convection heat put off by the thing was enough to make anyone quiver. In fact, a good portion of the battlefield where Tomina and Flare branched off to started being scorched quickly by the new satellite. Eventually though the thing would settle in the skies as Flare's power kept steadily increasing. Inside this thing huddled a nude Flare, knees against chest as her body seemed to temporarily rest inside the dangerously radiating, fusion having star.
"Look! Lo- Jackie! Stop moving the telescope around! You've got to keep it steady dear." The fuzzy image of Flare's life long caretaker, Auntie, came into clear view of the vision she was seeing. The ecstatic youth known as Jackie at the time was jumping excitedly as she was peering through the rather expensive lens of their galactic telescope. This day and age, they were able to view super distant stars and even planets with utmost ease. Unlike the plights of today's smaller telescopes, the clarity and ability to zoom on these things was incredible. It surely got the young flame's young mind captivated.
"Hmph! But I finally got to see the big one! It's there! It's there!" She was a little over eight, judging by her size and voice from recollection. She was almost hyperactive, as most kids were, giddy to have done something most adults would have issue with. Alas, Auntie had to calm the jumping youth with a firm arm and realign the telescope to the right angle and depth. Once she herself checked it she smiled and nodded to her girl.
"Bright as ever, girl. No wonder you're already building little robots." The old woman would give the girl a pat on her head and rub a bit as Flare bent down to look at that big old star again. Betelgeuse. Massive thing, that, and quite the distance away. Still, people have been much closer to it now that space travel is common on Earth. It was still a good shot of it and, frankly, with this quality you wouldn't need to see it first hand. Enthralled by the thing she'd keep her eye planted for a long while before leaning back with this toothy grin on her face.
"Sure is pretty. A big ball of fire! Hey, Hey, Auntie! You think I could make one of those with my fire? That'd be so cool!" She'd smirk and demonstrate by making a tiny lick of fire in the palm of her hand, forming it into a measly ball that could barely stand the constant low winds of the night. After a moment of though the older woman sat on down next to the telescope and pulled the girl into her lap, looking to the stars as she hugged the girl in a tight embrace.
"Mmmh, not too sure about that one my little fire." At first Flare would pout and stick a lip out in protest. It'd get a good chuckle from Tabitha before she rubbed a chin on top the girl's head and rested it there in her hug. Without much more resistance from the girl she sighed.
"Heh... You know why you won't create those stars? Because you ARE a star. My star, Jackie. You can be anything you want to put your mind to." The small sun hovering in the skies seemed to start shrinking, the rest of that energy accumulating rapidly into the now awakened Flare. Every last bit of material collapsing in on itself, and in a final bit would explode magnificently in a shroud of blinding white light and dispelled plasma gas. What was suddenly left of the large sun was that fiery dame, clothes seemingly willed back into existence on her body as she straightened up in the skies and stretched out. With a yawn she'd then open her eyes.
She took a brief moment to look herself over, noticing a strange lack of her standard yellow and red flames and aura and instead saw these radiating, uniform red flames that covered a majority of her body in a sort of calm, natural status. Her hair? She couldn't tell it wasn't on fire anymore but she was a literal red head now. Her eyes? Forget trying to figure that one out without a mirror.
"HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" She'd roar again, her new vibrant red flames dancing around on her body. In an instant her new found anger set its sights on her niece, her form finding its way quickly to blindside her, fists and feet already lit up with balls of flame she'd try to pound some into her. Some way into it though she found herself restraining herself... Vision hazy with a familiar face. What was with her getting so many visions all the sudden? Those blue eyes, blonde hair, pointy ears... There was no mistaking that sudden flash that lasted no longer than a blink of her eyes. It made her blinding rage a bit more clear.
"SANI!?" She'd yell promptly before holding back some to try and instead give Tomina a big great hammer hand down into the ground to knock her out cleanly, avoiding the mistake she had done years ago by letting all her anger go unchecked. There had to be some sort of good inside that supposedly murderous girl. Ragnarok had to talked to her for some reason...

Sudden transformation makes her suddenly twice as fast as Tomina, allowing for a second technique! Stamina refilled, she also throws a OT-2 Flare Blitz! 11,284,920/10,814,715 PL attack! Planning on knocking her cold out with the latter technique in mind, the first being flavored as solar flares ofc.

The verbal battle was just as intense was the fiery fists they threw at one another. For every jab that Flare sent her way, Tomina had a rebuttal that she would throw right back at the Elemi.
“The actions of leaders represent those who follow them. Nasu and Komatsu’s actions make it very clear where they and those who follow them stand. The fact that the Earth Queen came here to oppose us, and her mother directly fighting against us in the past is a reflection of all the hatred humanity has had for our kind. The only reason the entire human race didn’t take part in the war is because the strong fighters of Earth know that the majority of Earthling are a bunch of flies that can easily be swatted. I told you before, your crap ideologies and your insistence that everyone can coexist with one another is why Caesar rose to power in the first place. I’ll prove just how foolish that belief is!”
Suddenly Tomina heard the Saiyan Queen's voice roaring angrily despite being nowhere close to the fight. She could tell that her father had managed to do some kind of damage to her, and it seemed to be pretty significant.
<Doesn't he realize who he's fighting? Even if he manages to win the fight, he's going to invoke Nasu's wrath for hurting his mate. The more damage he does, the worst its going to be on him. Well, it's his fault for going after the opponent he did. It isn't going to end well for him.>
Well, what he did in the fight was of no concern to Tomina. She wasn't going to give him any more help or advice other then what she told him regarding the Devil Spit technique. The rest was up to him now.
Tomina actually crossed her arms and threw back her head in laughter in response to what Flare said next. Oh man, she had no idea how funny the things she said were. Then again, you had to be in on the joke in order to understand it, and Tomina had made sure that nobody was in on it. Tomina lowered her head and looked down at Flare, a couple more chuckles escaping her lips.
“Me? Follow Nasu? Ha! The only Saiyan I have or ever will accept as my ruler died a long time ago. The truth is that I need Nasu right now. He’s by far the strongest Saiyan in existence, and doesn't have the same weakness those Alliance trash do. He's an excellent sword for killing enemies currently above my own level of power. Alas, even the sharpest of blades will rust and wear down over time. Within a century, Nasu will die. Although by the time he does, I won't need him anymore. Well shit, looks like I got a little carried away there. I would say I'd have to kill you now, but I was planning on doing that anyway. I've got to have Nasu keep thinking he has my undying loyalty after all."
Tomina smirked, raising a finger to her lips and letting out a brief "shhh". Unfortunately her cocky expression faded from her face as the humor of the situation died down. All of this didn’t take away from the fact that 98 percent of the words that flew out of Flare’s mouth was stupid nonsense that annoyed the crap out of her. Well, once again it was time to engage the Elemi in more verbal warfare. Once again, her voice ringed through the air chillingly.
“That’s right, you and I took different paths. I chose to take the path that doesn’t shackle burdens that prevent me from obtaining my goals. You have chosen the path of the self-righteous hero, shackled by the lives of others. That’s what you’d like to believe anyway. Did your friends truly wish to die pointless deaths? Or is that what you want for them? To die as heros while you live and save your own sorry ass. Since we can’t ask them in person, I’m just going to assume it’s the latter. People cling to their lives as much as they can. Despite being abandoned, your comrades are fighting to the end.”
Tomina’s eyes shot open, staring at the fire Elemi in shock. Did she… really meant that part about Caesar literally? There was no other way to interpret it: she literally sold her body to that monster. The charge of purple energy in her hand grew brighter and brighter as what little respect she had left for the fire Elemi plummeted. Her eyes narrowed into slits so tight that one could barely see her eyes. It looked as though her vision would be heavily obscured with how intensely she was glaring at the fire Elemi. There was such an intense hatred emanating from her.
“The Saiyan race has endured hardships beyond your comprehension. There are no words to describe how idiotically arrogant you are to think that you can break our spirits. We have more passion that you can ever hope to match, and don’t have that worthless empathy that holds you back. Your power level is high, but you are one of the weakest foes I’ve ever fought. I have nothing more to say to someone who resolve is so weak that they’ll give their body out to that monster. You were foolish enough to believe he would keep his word, and your friends are paying the price for it with their lives.”
The things began to get weird. That Kai responded back with a telepathic message that made Tomina’s eyes widen again. Because what other response was there but incredulous belief when someone sprouted tall tales like there being multiple universes and a being capable of destroying each of them easily. Honestly, what kind of fools did these Kai think they were?
<You may have fooled Koma and his followers with your nonsense about the afterlife and the rest of that other bullshit you sprouted, but the rest of us aren’t so naive. Multiple universes? Moral level? Man, talk about pulling out a shit lie out of your ass! You’re just another inferior species who is trying to play God. Go ahead, prove me wrong! Either kill me and prove that there’s an afterlife that you rule over, or bring back someone important to me from the other side. Until then, I won’t believe in your crap about multiple universes, or in the existence of a being of the level of power you speak of. No one is superior to the Saiyan race!>
Then Flare suddenly started spouting nonsense. Her opponent seemed to be having some kind of meltdown on the battlefield. She went rambling on about how she had failed to save someone and that she suffered again and again. Tomina was about to take advantage of it when a monstrous power level burst into being. Just the sheer power of the aura made her blood run cold. She turned her head behind her, look back towards the charred remains of the tree of might. The energy seemed to be neither Chris or Komatsu, but some kind of mix between the two of them. It was in this moment that Tomina realized her theory from earlier was right on the mark after all.
<So they were planning to fuse the whole time! That bastard of a Kai must have used some kind of technique to do this to them! Tch, it doesn’t matter though. Nasu has a power beyond their comprehension, just like that purple mutt has. He’ll wipe both Komatsu and Chris from the face of the Earth, and with it even the smallest chance of victory this planet had!>
That wasn't the only thing she noticed that was going on though. She noted with a bit of pride that Rensu had managed to finish off his opponent fairly quickly. Although he didn't seem to be going after another target for some reason. In fact, it seemed like he was trying to stay out of the battle.
<What's the hell does he think he's doing? He better not abandon his duties now! He's weaker then a lot of people there, but he's a Saiyan! If he can't find an opponent at his strength, then he should give support where it's needed! Why the hell did he run off to Earth without authorization? I didn't have time to teach him properly.>
Tomina’s head snapped back to her aunt as she suddenly detected a huge spike in power level. She watched in disbelief as a miniature sun formed around her body. Tomina had to fly back in order to avoid being engulfed by the rapidly expanding sphere, which was sucking in everything around it. Then it started firing off waves of plasma at the hybrid Saiyan. Tomina’s aura flared bright red as she summoned reserves of power she had been saving until she needed them.
She fired her galaxy gun straight at the blasts of energy, the power of her beam managing to stave off the energy that had surrounded her. Although the energy coming off from the miniature sun Flare had created was threatening to overwhelm her. Despite that, Tomina managed to push past the attacks the flaming sphere sent her way. What little remaining of her energy beam headed straight towards the glowing sphere. There wasn’t much power left behind it after having to fend off so much energy. If it didn’t get consumed by the sphere, then the figure inside could easily block or dodge it. Then the ball of energy dissipated, leaving Tomina to stare in disbelief at what she saw.
Flare had somehow obtained some kind of new form. Her hair had turned blood red, her eyes somehow obtaining a grey shade to them. Her power had also skyrocketed. Tomina couldn’t believe it, but there was no denying what she saw and felt. Flare had managed to obtain a new form in the middle of their fight. Not only that, but she was wearing a new set of clothes, for crying out loud! It was almost as if all the damage Tomina had done before had been completely nullified.
<What?! This is impossible! Only Saiyans can use their emotions to evolve into a new form like that! How can weak girl like her obtain that kind of power like that?! Damn her... DAMN HER!!!>
Even if Tomina wasn't frozen in shock by everything that had just transpired, she wouldn’t have been able to react to the blow Flare sent raining down on her. Tomina was sent spiraling towards the ground, slamming into it with such force that she formed a small crater on impact. Tomina’s back jerked forward violently, the girl coughing up blood before she landed flat on her back. She could feel quite a few bones break from the force of the impact. Tomina’s vision was blurry. Darkness began to overtake her. She tried to bite down on the energy capsule that she had in her mouth for such an occasion, but she couldn't even move her mouth anymore. One last thought passed through her mind before she passed out completely.
<I'm sorry... Karen. I've failed you. If there is an afterlife, then I beg your forgiveness once I cross to the other side.>
Tomina lost consciousness believing that she would never open her eyes again. She had done too many horrible things to all her enemies to be let off so lightly. There was no way Flare would spare her life either. She had made it clear that she was an enemy to Earth and everyone on it. If Flare was truly the protector she was, it would only make sense for her to kill her before she could become stronger. Tomina lay in the crater left by the attack, her hair returning to its normal brown color as her transformation faded. The second strongest Saiyan in Natsu's army had been defeated.

However, she will still be present in the RoD until its conclusion or her death.
Tarro cried with worry as he arrived on the scene with haste - his Super Saiyan form radiating with the Golden Glow shimmering - flying down beside her beat down state. He had never seen her like this. She had really taken quite a number from Flare. Burns and bruises all over - his heart sank. He couldn't believe she had lost, and lost so damn badly. His face curled up into a frown. "You fought well. No one else save for Nasu himself could have put up as much of a fight," he whispered softly, likely unheard by Flare. Gently patting her head once: he sighed and stood tall. He turned to face the Elemi, the fire lady.
As he faced Flare in all of her power - he was not afraid despite the massive power difference. Looking up slowly toward the Elemi with a serious expression - the former Saiyan elite motioned toward Flare without any signs of aggression or intention to fight. "I've never seen that form from your people before. Quite the increase in power," he noted, as if he was engaging in small talk with the Elemi. One would think he would be shaking in his boots. Or that he would be angry with her new stature. Or that he would be a fool and try to engage her anyway. But alas he did none of these things. For now he was simply talking to her. It was all he could do. And he knew that.
"You beat her fair and square, Flare. I have no intention of fighting you or anyone else on this planet,"he said plainly. "Nasu's time is likely up. Whether he is simply defeated or killed by the Fusion - he has no chance of victory. Even with his Super Saiyan God form,"he informed her. "The fighting is all but finished. There is a Kold Demon who claims he can restore your planet to its proper condition. It was the Kold Demons who last utilized the Tree of Might I've heard - and transformed it into the Tree of Life. I reckon he intends to do the same thing to fix your planet,"he said, explaining the situation to her since she was one of the most attached to this planet.
"As you can likely sense - Jarvis' power has grown today by the same means as that Kai. Komatsu cannot keep ignoring Jarvis as a threat. He is approximately the same power level as Nasu when he first obtained this God Form of his. You can be sure that Jarvis may try to obtain the same power. Your new status is powerful, but still beneath the False God, especially if he figures out a way to achieve the same status as Nasu."
The two of them were enemies today. He fought for Tomina and the Saiyans survival, while she fought for Earth. They were not friends. But they had one thing in common - and that was a hatred for Jarvis. Though he supposed now they had a second thing in common. "...I remember. I remember seeing you and that girl on Natto before I was knocked unconscious. She was someone special to you I reckon.
...I'm sorry. He stole someone precious to me too," he said seriously, with a slight inflection of sadness in his voice. Nothing was worse in this world. He had lost his love, his planet, and most of his people in the span of a single day. For him that wound was still fresh. He didn't have to imagine her feelings. He imagined that's what sparked this strange power of hers. The pain of loss. Though they were enemies he did not wish that on her.
Perhaps one day they would share a battleground with which to smite the False God and to erase him from existence itself. To reclaim their own sanity. What was left of it anyway. "... Let me take her off world. She won't cause a problem further today. I cannot stop her from attacking this planet in the future, but I can promise I will do my best to sway her away from this action. Though I will defend her life I myself will not make any further actions against your world," he offered, though he knew it wasn't much.
He didn't care about this planet or its inhabitants. They were no target of his. His only target was Jarvis. And he would make that man's usurpation a reality. Decrowning the supposed God King was his one life's focus. And he would make it there.
"What say you, Flare of Earth?"

Arriving just as Tarro said his last phrase, Blizzer landed near the elite warrior. Moving his eyes from the saiyans to the elemi woman, keeping a poker face while asserting the situation, and giving a tender smile, a true one, when he noticed Tarro's gentle actions towards the young red haired saiyaness in his arms. He recognized her as the one screaming "saiyan supremacy" earlier. Picking a fight with pratically everyone not from the Kingdom - "Well...I said I would help..."
- So, saiyans do have a good side afterall. I thought it was only Hotato - uncrossing his arms, he speak to Tarro - Don't worry, I'll help her in a sec, ok?
And facing towards Flare, the kold demon walks closer to her and gives a slight bow.
- Hello, I'm Blizzer, and it's nice to meet you - now looking straight to Flare's face while kneeing before the young flame - I know it's not my business but please, could you let this two go? They're are important to a friend of mine and he asked me to help them retreat safely. And in return I will do everything in my power to undo the damages caused by the Tree of Might. I helped do it in my home world, I can do it again for yours! - he seems quite confident in his words - Please! - he bows again and keeps his head down and hands joined together above it, awaiting for Flare's answer.

”FLARE!” his shout could be heard even before he arrived at the battlefield, stopping and making his bright golden and sparkling ki aura to fade away. He stared the Elemi right in the eyes, arriving shortly after Tarro and Blizzer spoke, but able to hear them both. ”We are leaving the planet. And I’m not leaving until I take her with us. She is part of our Kingdom and a soldier, and I’m sure you understand that. We fought together when Natto was attacked, so, as a courtesy from that time, I hope we can part ways without any more blood being spilled. But don’t get me wrong, if it’s a fight you want, I can give you that. My life is not something precious to me I would do anything to survive.” he paused, glancing toward Tarro. ”But as their superior, I can’t let them die in vain. And the King has decided: the only one left to fight here will be him.” and his tone was definitely serious.
Then, his teal-colored eyes went back to Flare. ”So… If we can truly call this the end of this war, Tarro, get Tomina and head immediately to the healing chamber. She won’t survive much in this state.” he ordered, without letting his guard down.
So it was over? The girl spat some final words to her beforehand, but the young flame's own unadulterated rage blotted out most other words at the time. it wasn't until she ascended and beat the girl down that she managed to recollect on these thoughts. These criticisms, some with actual merit. Some mistaken accusations of a girl who didn't understand the context she had done it all under. That was the part she was talking about. Just not understanding the reasons why she has done things and only taking it at a ground level. Dismissing her own strife because she hated her blood and her ideals. Putting the collective over the individual, something Flare never agreed with out of principle.
There was one thing that struck the young flame hard though. It wasn't the constant years of torture her recent life put hr through. It wasn't facing Jarvis multiple times up to this point, nor was it her training her life away in a chamber. It took her unknown bastard of a niece, squaring off against her in a battle of morals and that cursed tree, already blown out by its plantee, and the planet earth being under threat that pushed her into a state she'd find trouble recalling an equal for. It took the young flame being challenged on her stances and reaffirming herself among peers that created this woman with red hair and unimaginable strength. For the first time she sat among most of the strongest individuals that had plagued her for the years. Yet she could feel past her rage that it was not going to be enough for her. For Earth. For everyone. Even before her, Chris and Komatsu had fused into some ungodly being with insurmountable strength, Nasu having done something that made her unable to read him... Well, at east he had a good sense of look with the red.
They looked a little too similar.
"HYAAAAAAH!" Her rage blinding her mind still, with only the flashing image of Sani in Tomina's place having stopped her from pounding the life out of the child. Flare gave out this last cry before her shoulders relaxed and let out the last bit of battle adrenaline in her. Further breaking her hover and go to stand over the child for a moment. Relishing in the strength she had for the moment before breathing from her nose harshly, smoke bellowing out, and kneeling next the the knocked out girl. It took a great deal of concentration to keep this new form from instantly lashing out to every other member of the SGK. Flare would instead preoccupy herself with making sure the girl was alright
Tomina, like a lot of people, looked a lot more peaceful in their sleep. In that same way she also looked like shit with some bleeding, scrapes, and broken bones. Laid out in a small indention to the earth, less forceful than even the woman's transformation was. If she were more like Shizen and less destructive like her flames she could probably have a way to safely make sure she wasn't just going to up and die anyways from the inflicted blows. She didn't so much as part some of the girl's hair from her face before some figures started onto her position. The first of which shouted for his captain, assumingly Tomina. It was the young punk that accused her of fleeing and abandoning the others down south with Jarvis. At first she thought he was going to try blindsiding her.
But that'd be suicide.
Instead what he ended up doing was come to her niece's direct aid. Flare stepped back from her a step and let the saiyan look her over however he wanted, still in his super form, and watched as he whispered some things she couldn't make all the way out. While she expected the saiyan to perhaps some reluctance to look upon her strange form she would rather not have to be looked on like that. Despite her agitated body still looking very willing to go at SOMEONE. Instead he seemed to give small talk to start.
"Neither have I. Nobody knew what a super elemi was until I was pushed either." To be fair, there were only a couple before her that managed to break that mold for her race. And, much like saiyans, afterward would witness a good number of her people being able to strive for the same thing. Even if she didn't know it. And Tomina wasn't up to get clued in on the actual name of her form, given by Zenon, the originator, as her brother put it. When the admittance to submit was given, Tarro also seemed to tell her that strange unreadable form Nasu now had.
"Super Saiyan God." She repeated to herself, looking towards that clash about to happen now between the now named being Rutattsu versus red boy Nasu. If he was really beyond that then there really were things she still had to surpass. The prospect of restoring her planet, too, came up and so did this little ice demon fellow she's never seen before. He exchanged brief words before focusing on the strong woman. What was with people suddenly treating her superior in some form? She figured, sure, she was strong but... Well, the behavior was grating enough to get her to clench a fist and shake her head with a bit of a huff. As she felt a bit sour about this the heat around her would intensify.
"Enough with the formality. I'm not some sort of leader, neither yours nor anyone elses. Get up. I will just expect you to do your funny work, but I'll be having Jax watch you. Let it be known that I never had the intentions of killing my niece or any of you. I already made this clear. The strongest on Earth are the kindest hearts. Something she doesn't get, something most don't get." The incoming Miso, and by extension Ragnarok trailing behind, would be able to hear her command all this. The audacious flames, having heard a good bit of Tarro as well as Blizzer's own plea, stood at the standby with a large gash through his torn chest piece. Having recuperated just a little from his battle with their queen he'd probably be pretty safe around his sister. His attention towards the ice demon should be noted too. For the longest time the elemi were perhaps too afraid to make any sort of formal contact with the likes of kold demons, brenchians, and saiyans before. That feat was unheard of for him.
"Blizzer, was it? I'd like my own words with you after this. What shit beans here means too, Flare, is that they're making a tactical retreat anyways. Forced back by that king of theirs. Would be a good time to make sure Nasu doesn't try anything else cheeky towards the planet or others." He'd calmly state, looking off to the side at Miso with a smirk crossing his face. He could be a bit snarky too, and given Miso's own accusations he couldn't help but be even more pompous around him. The young flame would take the bit of news with a bit of a perked brow but glance between them all one more time before looking towards the destroyed tree where those two strongest individuals fought.
"Tarro." She'd try getting the saiyan's attention again, that thought about Jarvis and Tarro knowing a bit more about Flare than she realized getting at her. slowly her features would soften as she looked back towards him, letting out another sigh as smoke slowly trailed from her huff. Before Shizen... dissapeared. before Jarvis ever attached that city, Flare was so very close to being able to keep him in line on hr own. Being able to face him squarely at every opportunity she got. Now his strange energy read was eerie and god awful powerful again. Always a step ahead of her. Damn.
"Take care of her. She's a strong girl but she's too brazen and ignorant for her own good. Even if she wasn't strong or totally against me that fake bastard only needs to know she's related to me to mess with her. If not to belittle her, get at me. He's taken a lot more from me than a misled plant girl. My life, dignity, compassion. I gave it all just to save as many people as I could. Stall him out so I could grow strong and punch him out of existence." The form itself she took was driven on emotion. Since she was no longer two hundred percent made her focus seemed to shift. A sizzle could be heard as the elemi started crying tears on the battlefield. Keeping her posture, but her eyes became irritated with those teary messengers of sadness. It was a strange sight, sure, but anyone who understood her would get what was happening as she straining to keep her eyes from shutting and just bawling in front of other warriors.
"I never had anything against your people. Don't get me wrong, I find it disgusting your faction took a planet and have a whole race under your boot. But it was never a reason to attack your entire people. Especially when most were with the alliance or freely lived here or elsewhere. Not while that monster so freely roams about, able to destroy entire planets and peoples with a touch of his finger if he so wanted. I made a promise to all of Earth, and I'll extend that to you. Extend that to everyone. My flames won't die down until Jarvis is no more." She could feel Jie Shan's life fading as she spoke, the heat around her smoldering to the point she had to back away from people as the ground directly und her started glowing. People looking directly at her would start feeling their eyes hurt from a sudden light coming from her. She herself was a sun, it almost looked like. To him, she'd give a telepathic message. Now that she was.. relatively calm.
"I've always fought against him. Against Jarvis. So maybe next time we would be fighting alongside eachother rather than against eachother. I hate having to beat the literal fire out of people. When you learn fighting a fake god is more important than following the rule of one man then maybe I wouldn't have to take such a form against you all. Now go, I've got to make sure your king doesn't try anything last moment against my planet." She'd urge them to go, only giving Ragnarok a final look before jettisoning off from the group, back up towards the main scene. Her brother would be a little worse for wear but seem to... stay among the crowd for now. Turning between them all with a roll of his shoulder.
"I'd like to make sure my daughter is okay before I leave and talk to the icer. I don't care if you find me utterly repulsive, or deny me any safety or care because I'm not a saiyan, I want at least to see her back up and fighting with my own eyes." He'd almost demand, he himself probably needing some medical attention as well. This probably came up out of past neglect and carelessness. He was wanting to make up and honestly cared after having witnessed Tomina here.
Stamina: 4/5 3/4
Actions: Attempting to return to main ToM thread. Attempting to leave with Tomina and others.
Tarro chuckled at her resistance to his formality. Sweat rolling down his face as the flames began to rise and increase in heat. He pitied the man who would have to face such heats under the sheets. “Aye. You’re not a leader. But you’re still a fighter worth acknowledging hence the respect I am showing you. If you prefer a more impolite tone though, I can oblige,” he said plainly, not really seeming to mind. He was playing this situation well it seems. The talk of Jarvis seemed to be calming her down somewhat. “I cannot control the actions of my superiors. I have neither the strength nor the force of will to change their minds. I will always fight alongside my people to keep as many from dying, and to increase my own strength,” he explained, though she was probably not very happy with his answer. “Not all Saiyans are like Nasu, or even my Captain here. I don’t fight for gratification, for glory, or just for the hell of it. I won’t lie and say I don’t enjoy the fight, but I am working towards a goal,” he said. She didn’t know him and likely didn’t care about his goals.
He was the only Saiyan not to eat the Fruit of the Tree of Might and truthfully he didn’t quite care. The Fruit was a bit tasteless for his appetite. But he understood why Nasu, Karota, Miso, Tomina, Kinoko, and Carva needed it. Why the Saiyans needed it. Strength was the only thing that would determine their survival in this universe. If only he could have convinced Nasu to target the Namekians or the Kold Demons instead. This would not have been such a brutal defeat. “Your Queen evacuated the planet from what I saw. That was smart of her. When the Kold Demon fixes Earth they’ll be able to return with little loss. I won’t be stupid enough to suggest that all’s well ends well, but I will say this could have gone a lot worse,” he noted. And it was true. Any one of these fights could have ended in the Earth being blown up. And that would not have been very appealing.
The cavalry then arrived in the form of Blizzer, Miso, and Ragnarok. All of whom decided to chip in their input. Tarro rolled his eyes at the interaction between Miso and Ragnarok as they both barged in crudely without understanding what was going on. Ragnarok’s remarks about the King were not very amusing - but he was holding his tongue here. To say anything would be to start a fight, and he wasn’t here to fight anymore. Things were far too chaotic, and the priority was getting Tomina safe… at any costs. Nothing else was as important. Tarro nodded to Blizzer who agreed to take care of her, the former Elite letting off a soft thanks. “Wait till we start flying Blizzer. Knowing my Captain she may try to continue the fight out of stubbornness,” he said honestly. It was then that Tarro heard Flare address him - to which his eyes shifted back to the fire girl with a curious, focused gaze. She asked him to take care of her. Not surprising given their familial ties. She was paranoid of Jarvis using Tomina against her. If they were closer he would have openly laughed at the mere suggestion.
But alas they were not. All she needed to know was that Tomina was one of the few people in this Universe who would forever escape the God King’s thumb. “Worry not, Flare. She hates Jarvis far too much to ever let him in. And she’s far too strong to ever let herself be controlled forcefully. We won’t ever let him do what he did to Natto. You can bet on it,” he said, as the atmosphere of the conversation turned much colder. Mentioning him this much was enough to start putting Tarro in a bad mood. “Pretty soon it’s Jarvis who will have to start fearing. Everyone in this Universe save for the Demons and his own brainwashed posse loathe his existence. He won’t last long,” he said with a rather serious, wide-eyed stare. It was almost as if his face contorted into a glare, but not at Flare. His whole demeanor just seemed much more sour with that man’s name in his mouth. But Flare’s tears softened this sourness a little. They weren’t friends, but he still felt for her pain. All of Jarvis’ victims would soon find justice. They all just needed a little more time. Holding Tomina in his arms - the young Saiyan motioned to fly away now with the Captain in tow. This defeat had been rough. So many unneeded casualties. He hoped the day would come when all the Saiyans could unite, or at the very least co-exist enough to bring Hell to the Demons and the former Cerulean Empire.
But alas. That was a dream that was far from happening.
Tarro began to walk away from Flare in silence as she sobbed. Turning away for a moment, he called out to her one last time. “Hey, Flare. When the day comes when we strike Jarvis I will not have this selfishness. If you want a swing at him, then you’ll have to get in line,” he said, letting off a small, low chuckle at his own albeit serious but humorous joke.
Tarro then heard Ragnarok address him as he carried his daughter and began heading towards the ship. Tarro grunted as the man acted rather pompous and annoying for his tastes. He didn’t know their relation until he brought it up, but he was still making a lot of assumptions about Tarro. And that was not okay. “Yeah whatever you can come. But just shut up and stop speaking for me. I didn’t say a goddamn thing toward you,” he said harshly before taking off with Tomina in hand.
It was time for them all to get out of this crazy shithole.
WC: 1002 -> Exiting RoD with Tomina in hand. Tomina will be healing from her critical damage either with the help of Blizzer’s doctor arts or the machine on the spaceship. This qualifies her for Zenkai.

- Err...right...though I'm to come back soon after the girl is alright - said Blizzer to Tarro before answering to the newcomer armored Elemi - Humm...sure...I guess... - Blizzer was confused with the request made by the male elemi, becoming a little suspicious - "Who's this and why he wants to talk to me? I don't remember him...wait! I do! He was with Komatsu when Hotato and I arrived on Earth. Don't remember his name, though" - and as he remembered the Ragnarok, his suspicions lighten a little - Yeah, we can talk, no problem. But first - turning back to Flare as she agreed to a momentary peace and then to Tarro and the knocked out girl in his arms - we need to treat her more critical injuries. Let's get her to your ship - and as Tarro carried the girl, Blizzer was to follow when Hotato arrived.
- So, we have a truce now. Good, now I can watch the main fight only having to worry for myself, hehe - he joked and smiled trying to lighten up the mood - By the way, Blizzer, are you leaving?
- Just to treat the girl and someone else that might have being hurt. I'll come back, still have to work on the Tree - shouted the kold to his hybrid friend.
- Alright. Tarro, please take care of him! - and noticing Miso leaving too, still without saying a word to him, he shout again - Also, please say to my uncle that I'm sorry for whatever the hell I had done to make him mad at me!! Have a safe trip!!!
He waved to those who were leaving and then took notice of Flare's presence. She posses the same presence he feels coming from her brother, a feeling he found at the same time strange and yet familiar - "Do everyone with elemi blood feels that way towards their kin?" Hum...she doesn't look so good, also. Maybe she is also injured?"
- Hey...I know it's not of my business, but, are you injured? And if so, I can help you. If you want - he would say to the young flame while following her close.
- Blizzer went with the SGK into their ship to treat anyone injured. - Hotato followed Flare back to the Main Saga and is offering to help with any injuries.
