[Thread PL: 198,059] [Katchin Weighted PL: 49,514] [Transformed/Super Saiyan PL: 643,691]"I don't get it. I'm a Super Saiyan. I've been training. Yet...it feels off. Like, I'm supposed to be somewhere that I'm not.." The youth, known as Rensu Horyu, had found himself musing to no one in particular, this day. The youth was alone, and by his lonesome. Unsure of what to do, or even where he should've been. Since things were cooling down- Or, felt as though they were. He didn't know what to do....Carva
Thread PL: 317,281 Suppressed to: 0"The name's Cervez, an entity of destruction..."
Somewhere high in the atmosphere of the Green Planet, he sits on thin air. His legs crossed under him, his long white cloak flowing out behind him, Carva's soul would appear to be at peace. Reaching deeper into his psyche though, one would hear the thoughts racing through the mind of one of Nasu's finest. (Cervez...an entity of destruction. An...Anubian, was it? I thought he was one of those flea bitten zoans at first. I'd killed hundreds during that first trip to Earth...so long ago...never made the news. No witnesses...just needless destruction. But this Cervez...how he looked at me...as if I were nothing.)
It wasn't the first time Carva had thought about the Anubian who'd defeated him in battle. He had, for the most part, managed to push thoughts of him to the back of his mind. But...now, more than ever, he felt something digging into his heart, tearing at his pride like some sort of jagged knife. It became undeniable. The rage he felt was at a slow simmer. This, coupled with the fact that he knew not where the Anubian was, it bothered him.
(Tch...stupid dog. He looked down on me, even as he witnessed my ascension. What should have been my finest moment...he embaressed me. He made me look like a fool. How the hell could I have...failed? I trained just as hard, damn it! I bust my ass every single day! What sort of bullshit is it when I am defeated by some glorified mutt dressed like he got his clothes from a mummy horror film?) Was he angry at himself? Perhaps...but one thing was certain...his thoughts were with Cervez, his heart filled with vengeance. He would fight Cervez...he would kill him. His words would ring true, and that damned Anubian wouldn't laugh the next time, lest Carva cut his tongue out and feed it to him.
"Shit..." His eyes would open, dark circles surrounding them. He hadn't slept in days...yet he wasn't tired whatsoever. He was driven. Determined. But...he'd realized a promise he'd made to one kid. "...forgot about Rensu...he wanted to train. Although, I must ask myself, is it a good idea for me to fight him in the mood that I am in?" He was in a vile, nasty mood indeed. The only thing that kept him from slaughtering the Namekians was the fact that he'd given his word to Toru. If nothing else, Carva was honorable. But Rensu. Rensu, if he couldn't take a beating without whining, was he worthy?
Eventually, after a slight bit of time...Carva would land behind Rensu. He'd been wearing that white cloak, donning the old warrior style armor...black a purple with silver trim. He'd address Rensu calmly. "Rensu...I am here. I do hope you're ready...those weights look a bit heavy, kid. You sure you're up to this?" He would jest with a low chuckle.
Being alone felt as though it was becoming that of a common theme to the young lad, as well. His ally was on the planet, yes, but his other two were still bound to the stars above. Frankly, it was becoming quite a worry for the boy. He knew damn well that Tomina and Tarro were more than capable of watching themselves and fending for themselves, but still. To think, they probably loathed him now. He saw them oh so briefly- For what? To simply shrink and cower before them and then leave not long after? Tomina likely saw the boy as a whelp, a runt, a coward. Unlike him, Tomina was the definition of a Vegetean Saiyan. Hardened and rough. Feelings meaning null to her. Truth be told, Rensu did respect his superior. With every fiber of his being, he really did. But damn it. He failed. He failed her and Tarro. He promised Tarro he'd listen and abide his rules and be wary of Carva's foolhardy suggestions and ideas. The youth's hands tightened quite a significant amount. His nails digging into the skin of his palms. Overwhelming frustration mounting the boy's person as his mind did laps around his skull. His already golden hair flaring even more so than normal.
He hadn't even noticed Carva closing in. The taller Saiyan had finally come and realized Rensu's request to train after all. Regardless of the elite coming, Rensu found himself expelling his emotions after all. "I'll prove myself, y'hear me?! Y'hear meee?!" Rensu bellowed. His jaw dropping wide open and his diaphragm coming into play so that he may shout even louder. "TOMINAAAAA!!" Rensu screamed. He had even leaned forward and poured all of his rage into his shout. Exceeding his former tier of Super Saiyan and thrusting forth into the upper echelon of the form; Full Power Super Saiyan. A form that showed a man's prowess in training and bettering himself.
[FPSSJ Unlocked - new PL is now 792,236]
Calming down just a tad, the youth turned his head at the sound of Carva's voice. It was all too familiar now. "It's about time, old man," Rensu cooed in response. "Yeah, they're heavy. What's your point?" He shrugged. Turning round and facing the elder boldly. "Let's do this. C'mon. Let's fight."Carva
Carva was quite the opposite of Rensu. For as angry as he was about the defeat from Cervez, he knew there was a time to let your anger show and then there was a time to focus. He watched and listened as Rensu bellowed like a beast, his own features remaining cool and useful. He smirked. "That's a large bark, for a small dog Rensu. You seem quite...bothered? I guess I can understand...being the youngest member of the squad and all, constantly having to prove oneself. I don't think Lady Tomina can hear you though..." He chuckled. "...rest assured, I can. Now show me what you've got, and make it good. Don't bore me."
One thing about Carva. He knew exactly how to press Rensu's buttons. He did so on purpose in order to see the the kid's power. He wanted this to be a learning experience...and he wasn't disappointed by the child's transformation. He'd taken on a bit of the Anubian who killed him personality. He gave a golf clap. "Impressive. Now let's see if you know how to use it? It's not about how powerful one is, Rensu...it's about their use of such power! Now allow me to show you!"
He would charge forward at the newly born Super Saiya-jin, his own power shooting upwards as he did. The energy he held was just in his basest form, as he threw a very calculated left jab at Rensu's jaw. It seemed more...graceful...more technical than Carva's normal fighting style. He seemed more professional.

"You claim to know the definition of "pain". Allow me to show you it's true meaning!"- Carva
Rensu grunted. Blinking as Carva began talking back to him after his outward display. It seemed that Carva had been listening this whole time. Just the very mention of his cry of anger being a “loud bark” caused the boy's face to go red and hot. Sure, Rensu hadn't said much aloud but suddenly crying out your so-called leader's name must have had some kinda attachment with it. “Bothered doesn't even describe it, Carva.” He responded. Taking a heavy breath and exhaling through his nostrils shortly after. Tilting his head, he cocked a brow. “Don't bore you? Got it. Hey,” He pointed. “Show me something. I know you've evolved, too. I can feel it. If I find out you're hiding anything, I'll train harder than ever just to kick your tall tail.” He warned.
Rensu braced himself. Narrowing his eyes and getting quite serious. As he tended to do when facing against Carva. There was.something about this elder in particular that oft drove the youth to fight as seriously as he could. Perhaps it was that he felt a bit more comfortable fighting him, despite the vicious tendencies put on display. He wasn't as on edge as Tarro nor dismissive and..not serious, but..intimidating as Tomina. Though, that wasn't to say Rensu didn't hold his own respect for the oaf. Grumbling a bit, Rensu held a position of fighting that mirrored a warrior from long times past. The hero he emulated unknowingly was the one who sought to protect Vegeta from a threat by traveling into space itself and fighting against an entire military.
“I know that! It doesn't matter how strong you are, if you can't fight without losing it, you shouldn't be fighting at all! Now, quit lecturing me and let's do it!” Rensu shouted. His eyes adjusting and watching over Carva carefully. Jolting open wide the moment his elder came in for him, he quickly weaved backward. Dodging back and snarling a little in response. His reaction would come as instinct. It seemed he was growing used to being a full on Super Saiyan. Rensu darted forth after avoiding Carva’s attack. Issuing his own rough fist thrown forth in the form of a heavy hook for the older man’s midsection!Avoided Carva’s attack with a simple dodge and responded with a fierce hook.
His eyes remained calm, perhaps cooler than he'd ever been. This Carva...he was different. He was more calculated, more efficient. If he wasn't dangerous before then now he should have come with a warning label complete with skull and crossbones. As his fist would miss it's target, he didn't fret or lose his footing, he simply let his footing carry him to spin to a stop and back into a stance. "You've gotten better, Ren-san...just keep your focus. You might actually win..." that cock grin would reappear. "...though I seriously doubt it. I have evolved. And you are seeing it in action right now."
His eyes would then follow Rensu as the younger Saiya-jin would charge him. He'd remain cool as the boy closed in, and without any physical change whatsoever save for a white aura with a red tint and starker black hair...he'd catch Rensu's fist. His arm would sweep out in front of him as he caught the fist and he'd drop low, sweeping at his opponent's legs fluidly. A more deadly warrior...a Carva who thought before he acted.FSSJ PL: 1,586,405 Sweeping at Rensu's legs for 317,281!
This was definitely new. Rensu watched closely as Carva simply flowed onwardm. He seemed unbothered by the attempted hold and following strike. It seemed Carva really did evolve as a warrior. It was impressive, truly. The youth's green eyes locked onto the elder with the utmost intent. He felt himself lose all of his weight in a split second. Fear creeping its way into his heart for a moment but swiftly being pushed out. No way he'd allow himself to he fallen with such ease. His upper body dropped quickly, his back smacking down against the ground beneath he and Carva. A loud thud thundering out as he collided with it. The grass doing nothing to shield his fall. Then again...this was the Ruined North of Namek. A land scarred by intense battles generations long.
Grunting lowly, the younger boy did a move similar to how Carva permitted his foot to regain proper footing. Using the momentum that followed his fall to spin, akin to a breakdancer spinning 'round on his head. In this same move, he'd attack all the same. Keeping on his head and planting his fingers on the floor, Rensu flexed and turned. Immediately spinning like a top and using his legs as windmills to strike. The force being exerted enough to call forth a small hurricane type gust atop of him. He prayed he could land a satisfying amount of hits, aiming to end it with a final hammer-style overhead blow with his entire leg.Took the damage and tried to retaliate with a series of kicks.
Carva's swift movements were enough to force Rensu hard into the ground, and he could see the boy's shoulders bounce off the hard brown stone beneath him. In that short moment as he crouched, his eyes would narrow. The strategic Saiya-Jin would think to himself, teeth bared. <Damn...don't know my own strength evidently. He's strong though...he can take it...but the fact of the matter is, for how long? That hit damned near took him out...he's weakened considerably already yet he still fights. I may want to reel it in a bit, lest my fun won't last that long at all.>
The problem with thinking? It can be distracting...Carva grunted as the boy's kicks would strike true, bringing him down to one knee. The last kick would actually take him off of his feet, his balance knocked off. As his face struck the hard stone beneath him, his vision blurred, eyes burning with tears...he'd taste a coppery flavor at the back of his throat.
As Carva would bring himself to a knee, Rensu would see the result of his attack. Black circles around Carva's eyes, blood trickling down over his lips. His handsome face was a mess. His breathing quickenes, vein popping out of his forehead...he felt anger rising within him, but then...he chuckled..."Good shot, kid..." the anger...he controlled it. Rather than charge forward like a mad bull he rolled his neck and balanced himself. "...betcha can't do it again."
Carva took a defensive stance, and Rensu would recognize the similarity to the one he'd probably seen Tomina use. He'd close the distance cautiously eyes locked not on Rensu's face but on his limbs. This wasn't about Carva becoming stronger anymore...the Kingdom would need more than one bad ass. Rensu was a good candidate. He motioned Rensu forward with two fingers of his right hand, pulled close to his right jaw, his left hand outstretched and less bent at the elbow. "Show me what you got, Ren. Are you a Super Saiya-jin? Or just some average warrior? A low class as I once was? I hate to admit this to anyone...but if I can train myself into an elite...so can you." Neither good, nor evil, the Dark Knight spoke to his boy wonder, saying the nicest thing he'd ever said. "Come on...I believe in you."
"You claim to know the definition of "pain". Allow me to show you it's true meaning!"- Carva
For maximum inspiration, see Dragon Ball Super's Vegetto Returns theme. To say satisfaction rung through the youth's body upon feeling a connection between his leg and Carva would be a mere understatement. Sure, Carva wasn't in an active Super form, but he was definitely powered up. No doubt about it. His base strength wasn't one million, Ren wasn't fooled by his dark hair and lack thereof green eyes. Not for a moment. Landing with grace, Rensu performed a small spin around back into his fighting stance. Keeping watch of how Carva rose to his feet and resumed a defensive stance. It seemed familiar but a name couldn't be found. It was definitely in origination from a Saiyan. Tomina? Eh.
Cocking a brow, the Super Saiyan grunted. “Eh? Think I can't do it again? Why don't we find out, old man.” Rensu taunted back. “I've learned something, too. But, don't worry. I'll show you as this rolls along. Promise.” He grinned now.
His grin quickly left him as the older man spoke on. “Hah,” He chortled. “Does it matter, Car?” Rensu replied. Standing upright and pointing with his index finger. “Transformation wise..yeah. I'm a Super Saiyan alright.” Immediately, his pointing hand was thrown to the side and held there. “But I'm a Saiyan, nonetheless. A strong one! Regardless of how yellow my hair gets or how spiky it becomes!” He was practically shouting from the passion ringing in his voice. He was no badass like his squad mates, but a badass in his own right. “Forget the classes! In a fight, it doesn't matter if you're a low class or a high class elite! What does is this,” Rensu clasped his fist tightly, bringing it to his chest and holding it there as well. “My will! The goal isn't to be an elite: nah, the goal is to be strong enough to keep myself, you and everyone here safe! To keep my home safe!” Ren returned to stance. “If you really believe in me..then you'll help me realize that strength!” The tween stated, flaring his golden aura powerfully. Passion burning in his heart and radiating from his fists.
“Haaah!!” His bellow was loud and clear. Fading into a huff as he began charging forward. <D-damn it...if protecting my home and everyone on it means..means protecting it from my own then..that means you too, Carva. I'll learn how to keep you at bay if ever needed..it'll be my mission in this fight! Let's go, me!> Every word the youth thought in the short amount of time he was given was wrought with concern and genuine care. He hated to think that if he ever really gave up his position as a soldier for King Nasu, he'd have to fight his leaders. But that would never happen. Never ever...right?
Regardless! The battle had restarted and Rensu found himself charging onto Carva’s twelve. Waiting for just the right moment to enact his method of attack. He'd use his smaller stature to his advantage, as he tended to. Opting to slide onto the stone below the moment he was in arms reach of the False Super Saiyan Carva. The method of attack: His aim was to slide beneath Carva and to his six! From behind, his hands would immediately shoot out and try to grab Carva’s tail. Not to cheat, however, as Rensu wasn't even thinking about the whole weakness thing. But rather, as a show of strength as he hoped to spin Carva around before slamming him down with a tremendous force!
The warrior known as Carva hadn't ever been much of a good teacher. He'd seen the enthusiasm and pride in the eyes of the youth, and he was happy to help. His reasoning for helping Rensu was similar to Rensu's reasoning for wanting to get stronger. To protect his kind. To protect his home. He was a hybrid who'd shunned his humanity long ago in favor of his spicy Saiya-jin blood. Which made the words which came out of the youth's mouth almost bring a tear to the grizzled veteran's eye...but not quite. He grinned from ear to ear. "How touching...your words are so noble, kid. You want me to teach you how to protect our people? Teach you to be a better warrior, so that you can be stronger?" His smile would fade as his defenses would drop momentarily. "It's not so easy, Rensu...not so easy as training to be the strongest. A sad truth I have learned is, that no matter how strong you become...there will always be someone stronger than you, someone who would seek to crush you under their thumb..."
He sighed and started toward Rensu, cracking his knuckles. "I will not relent. If you want to become powerful, you will not be coddled. Yes, I believe in you..." His aura would suddenly dim, becoming purple in color as he blinked, hair turning purple...his eyes opening as red coals of darkness, a constantly sadistic grin on his face. "...I would suggest that you fight as if your life depended on it, kid. Because I won't let up until you attain this power you so desperately seek!"
So now was the time when the boy haphazardly charged the Super Saiya-jin Devil known simply as Carva. Carva tried to keep up with Rensu, but the boy's shorter height would give him an advantage as he slid between Carva's legs. What Rensu likely was unaware of was...well...we'll let you see it for yourselves. The man's expression darkened further, blood red sparks dripping from his dark aura..."Just what the Hell are you doing? You should know by now that doesn't work on me..." Luckily for Rensu, he was able to send Carva flying through the air..but the seasoned warrior would fight back by spinning in midair and firing off a beam of ki right in the direction of Rensu! "Harbinger Alpha! Dodge!"
"You claim to know the definition of "pain". Allow me to show you it's true meaning!"- Carva
The youth shouted with every spin he performed with Carva in his hands. Raw strength being displayed as he managed to toss the likely two hundred to three hundred pound Saiyan into the air. His eyes narrowed, damn near closed as he released his elder up and away. A deep breath taken as he watched with killer intent, Carva spinning 'round and aiming at him with his hand extended. The peculiar beam fired off at an astounding speed, Rensu had plenty of time to react. Something he was thankful of, of course. Furrowing his brows, the youth was swift to hit the deck. Tucking his arms in and dropping to the floor, he did as Carva called. The lad had dodged just as he was told, and from there he had immediately jumped back to his feet. Finding the strength in himself to power himself up as much as he could without shattering the weighted armor attached to his torso. If only he wasn't shackling himself! But...alas, he needed the power. He needed to become more. And...he hoped it would not turn into a quest where he'd do anything it took. That was the ultima, the final option if at all. A Saiyan with nothing to lose was a dangerous one, after all.
"Come! Ooooon!!" Rensu shouted, his golden aura flaring up wildly. Immediately, without wasting a second, Rensu charged back into the air to greet his elder. Regardless of anything, he'd obtain the strength he had found himself in need of. Whatever it took to prove, at least, to his superiors that he was no slip up only. He had his strengths and they'd outshine his weaknesses! With that, a brave assault on Carva was launched and the boy's attacks were quick and aimed primarily for the elder's chest and head.
Devil Carva spun gracefully in the air, tail swaying behind him as he did. As he saw Rensu dodge, his red eyes fell solely on the youth. His tail would slide around his waist like a snake and tighten like a belt. His purple hair swaying and sparking from the wind of his own large large, purple aura. An evil grin spread from ear to ear. [Hrmf...no voices, complete control. Suppose I'm cured of that freak's poison. Just feel more violent, and I want to hurt him. Hehehe...yeah, knock him down a few pegs. He's getting a bit big for his britches anyway!] Carva thought to himself, sliding his feet into a more offensive stance.
Carva viewed Rensu as a misguided younger sibling. Honestly, he wasn't comfortable being "pals" with anyone from the Alliance himself, but he could see that his charge was quite friendly with Toru. A pity really. He'd kill Rensu if ordered...but luckily for the boy, Carva had received no such order. Which made the youth safe for now.
However, if Rensu was to serve the Kingdom to it's fullest then he'd need to be trained. He need to be taught how to utilize that Super Saiya-jin Rage in a helpful way. Carva watched the boy closely, beginning to circle like a big dog stalking it's prey.
As Rensu would charge forward he'd brace himself, first blocking a shot to the chest, getting hit by a punch to the chin, taking a few from the young warrior. Rensu had become quite fast as a Super Saiya-Jin and Carva could tell the boy was fighting to win. He couldn't hide his excitement as the boy threw another kick, which Carva caught with one hand and held there. Slowly, Carva raised a hand and waggled a finger at his younger friend. "While I appreciate your candor and enthusiasm for fighting me, I question your sanity kid. You say "come on", as if you could possibly hope to even handle me in my most powerful form...yet have you seen it? Have you felt it's power? It's not something you ask for...no sane Saiya-Jin would ask for that..."
Carva knew well what Rensu wanted. Somehow he'd found out about Carva's new transformation. But Carva was hesitant to unleash his power on the youth...he'd likely kill him if he did. Carva would instead draw back his free fist and jerk Rensu forward, thrusting an open palm into the kid's chest.
"You claim to know the definition of "pain". Allow me to show you it's true meaning!"- Carva
Again, success found itself coming Rensu’s way. His smaller fists smashing into Carva’s chest, each blow that landed was beginning to send Rensu into some sort of..frenzied state. Like, he was slowly being inflicted by the Berserk status effect. It was satisfying but at the same time, left the youth starving for more. Damn near dangerously. Plus, the look. The look on Carva’s face. It was smug. Incredibly so. It was kind of pissing the lad off. Like, it deserved to be wiped from his pale face. <I'm gonna break you, Carva. You'll see that you won't be an answer forever..> Rensu thought, himself. Swearing he'd destruct this man.
His foot was snatched out from the air. His motion halted so suddenly; Carva seemed to be finished with entertaining the kid and his intents. He decided he'd talk. Rensu’s golden eyes narrowing with a strange sense of curiosity. What the hell was he talking about. He loved that Rensu held such determination. The drive for battle was recognized. Rensu felt it, too. He was glad he recognized that much. However, with the good, bad was brought forth. Carva; He thought this was suicide, didn't he. He thought Rensu was fighting more than he could take. Hell. The bastard didn't even give the youth a chance to answer. Shoved back, the kid spun back into being right side up. A good distance between he and Carva.
“I knew it,” He began. “I knew you evolved! There was no way you didn't after being on Earth like that! Hell, you weren't exploding and talking to yourself! You- You know how to piss me off!” Rensu shouted. His fists tight as he felt his chest tighten as well. His face growing hot. “My sanity? Its fine! But, I'm a Saiyan! A strong one! It's my job to ask for you to bring your hardest! Quit teasing, quit gassing yourself! Show me, damn it! Show me!!” Rensu bellowed. That golden flare crackling and screaming. “Forget serving anything or anyone! I'm growing up!” He added. It was clear. Rensu needed to beat this man and figure out what he'd do in the case that he was to be killed for acting out.
“Call me crazy- But bring your strongest power out, damn you!”
He knew what Rensu was asking for. He knew it all too well, though he wasn't sure if Rensu knew what he was asking me at all. Carva had reached a level of power that he'd never even experienced for himself before, and when he let it out...one word came to mind...destroy. His eyes would close momentarily as he thought back to the spar with Toru, which took place not so long ago. It was a day or so. It was the reason he'd chosen to meditate, quite unsuccessfully in fact. When he took that Legendary form, his rage overtook him...a lesson he would learn all too late in that spar. It was a wonder he'd managed to keep his cool for that long in that fight...but he managed to, if only for ten minutes. Then he was consumed by rage.
He didn't want to attract unnecessary attention, honestly. For when he did, then the Kingdom would come under fire once again. He could not risk further disgrace to his comrades, or to his name. Carva opened his eyes and looked at Rensu. "Do you not understand what you are asking me to do, kid? I knew you were impulsive, but not this much so. The power I now possess isn't like that which you knew before. That blue haired guy? Remember him? He was destroying that city...I could obliterate this entire planet if I let my power out. Saiya-Jin rage is a powerful thing, but coupled with Legendary power...it becomes impossible to control." His hands dropped down at his sides and he stood up straight, his eyes focused on Rensu. "I was okay at first, mind you. I was in complete control, kid. But as my psyche fought hat rage, it lost and I nearly got myself booted from this planet all together."
"You are young. You don't quite understand that our Allegiance to the God King and our people is the most important thing in this Galaxy. If I could trade the time I wasted going to that ball of shit..." His hair would fall down into it's normal state, it's black color returning. Rensu would be able to see a tear. "...I would. But, I was stupid...I let myself be blinded by sentiments and longing when really? Only one thing should have mattered...the betterment of our people."
Carva gritted his teeth, teardrops burning his cheeks. "So...allow me to offer you a choice and a warning. I will show you my Legendary form but it must be done in the Alliance arena, and I am liable to kill you without meaning to..." he stopped himself, face becoming stern and stoic once more. "...or you and I can sit down and discuss how the Hell you ended up here and where your true allegiances lie. Either way..." he growled through his teeth, a hint of Hell fire blazing in his eyes. "...I would hate to end the life of a good..." he tried to get the word out. He almost couldn't say it...it was hard...because he'd never called anyone that word. "...friend."
"You claim to know the definition of "pain". Allow me to show you it's true meaning!"- Carva
“Huh?” Rensu cocked a brow. He was a bit surprised by Carva’s response to his request. He knew he wouldn't give it to him. But this...this was something new. His eyes narrowed. Rensu a bit suspicious and curious all the same. “I know what I'm asking you, Carva. Help! It's only fair..that I get just as strong!” He stated, holding strong to his intentions and goals. To ascend the Super Saiyan limit and the confines of those expectations he had failed to uphold. “Yeah. Jarvis. Here's the thing,” Rensu pointed a finger. “I can train against him now. I've seen him. And once I see you I'll have a way better understanding of how to beat ‘legendary’ power.” The youth seemed cocky. But, he wasn't trying to. “If I learn how to do that...then I can beat anything for anyone.” He quickly added. His hands dropped as Carva’s did. These two. They were quite the particular ones, weren't they?
“Hrm..” He grunted. “Don't get me wrong you big oaf. I..I get our allegiance to King Nasu is great and all, but..isn't serving a god different than a king? He's beyond you and I...he can wipe us out like that-” Rensu choked a little. “I'm not afraid of that. And I'm not saying I wanna defect. But, as a ‘God King’, King Nasu probably sees us as useless. That's why I wanna protect us- Saiyans. What's left of us..” Rensu’s arms came over one another. Melancholy on the youth's face. “..and the Namekians. Everyone. I'll protect the innocent. Even if it means getting my ass kicked by every warrior in the universe.” Carva probably heard him speak crazy talk. “And if that means protecting the Namekians from us and you I'll train to make sure it happens.” Rensu clutched his jaw tightly.
Tilting his head, Rensu's hand came to clasp onto his trap muscle, the space between his neck and shoulder. “Top o’ that: If that means training so you can't kill me..I'll train day and night. No way my light's getting snuffed out 'cause someone else said so. No way.” He spoke sharply. “If anyone orders you ta’ kill me, then they oughta’ kiss their asses away ‘cause I'll go hunt after them right after.” He warned. Closing his eyes for a second, the lad listened to Carva’s ultimatum. Was it worth risking his life? Or was it more worth to simply talk to his elder. The tween Saiyan bit his lip for a moment..
“Darn it. I'm getting ahead of myself..fine. Let's talk, Carva. You an’ me.”
