Heizen was angry following the travel to Saiya. Everything had gone wrong that could have possibly went wrong. The Saiyans got away to tattle to their King, the Princess had gotten injured (and the other one almost killed). He had played around too much in his fight- and should have just sent that bastard Fennle off to hell where she belonged! Instead he put his trust in a stranger - the Demon Queen reborn and back from the dead. She sorely disappointed him however. Playing around with the Saiyan to a reckless degree - making deals that didn't even need to be made. They had the advantage, and it was wasted by their sheer stupidity. It ruffled his feathers. SHE ruffled his feathers. But alas he could do nothing but keep moving forward. The Saiyans would likely be coming soon for vengeance - and he needed to be ready when that day came.
Heizen called out to the Fox Demon- waiting for him to show up at their usual place in Heizen's palace. It was standard procedure for them. Vulpeca would show up at his place to train for a bit - Heizen would thank him with a delightful feast. This process had repeated a handful of times - the Jackal Demon usually only inviting Vulpeca once a week or every other week depending on his mood.
Heizen was dressed in his black armor - outfitted to his size with a red shirt underneath it. Armor was typically a construct made for protecting one from attacks - but in Heizen’s case it was actually the opposite. Heizen’s demon armor was specially made for him and his uncontrollable ki. The Demon Lord had shown a tremendous amount of pressure, but was incapable of containing or suppressing that energy properly. Heizen thus used the armor as a means of containing his energy - lowering it immensely for the means of restraining his power and pushing himself to greater heights. He normally didn't use this armor while training with Vulpeca- but it was the best that he could hope to do in order to push himself to the brink.
And so Heizen waited as such in the dark blue lit room underneath his palace (built into the ground of the Demon Realm itself). With his arms and legs crossed as he floated in mid-air meditating (a dark blue glow emitting from the outline of Heizen's body) - he was starting already by trying to center his energy. Meditation helped calm the mind. It helped to improve one's energy and their connection to it. Heizen hoped that eventually he would learn how to regulate his energy properly and ascend to the Demon King stature. Where he had always belonged.
Nakiya was still fuming after the battle on Saiya, not because she nearly died again, but because of the way her troops where second guessing her... because the saiyan child she had locked up downstairs dared to tell her she was afraid of him. Nakiya had a serious talk with Vulpeca about his trust in Heizen, ordering him several times to kill the now Noble Demon, but each time Vulpeca refused, making up excuses for the beast and assuring her that he was loyal and would help their cause against the saiyans. She refused to believe that fact, but after a lengthy evening of discussions and being brought up to date with the affairs of the Demon Realm, Nakiya decided to size up this Heizen herself.
Therefore, whenever Heizen called on Vulpeca the fox Demon immediately alerted the Queen who's body took on the form of the ex King. Her body gre taller, her hair shortening and a fuzzy tail growing from her tailbone. Clothes began to form on her being, taking the shape of Vulpeca's casual training attire. Everything down to her voice and the feel of her ki was identical to Vulpeca's.
"Stay here and take my place. If you warn him I'm coming then you will both feel my wrath." She stated coldly, taking off from the palace with a powerful Flare of Vulpeca's fiery aura. She flew towards Heizen's Mansion, using Vulpeca's silent mental information to navigate her way easily towards the training room downstairs.
As she entered, she found the large creature meditating in the center of the room, her eyes narrowing on the marked Jackal Demon dressed in heavy armors. She could feel it suppressing his ki and wondered just how he expected to ever defeat Vulpeca with such a handicap.
"Heizen" She said, her voice sounding exactly like Vulpeca's as the doors closed behind her. The Demon General would make his way closer to the Jackal Demon, a look of irritation still on his face. Sure it was Nakiya that was irritated, but she could easily cover that.
"I asked you to protect her, not bring her back in pieces!" He said coldly, attempting to cover up the scowl that truly belonged to the Demon Queen herself.

Heizen could feel the general arriving on his palace grounds - the Jackal Demon smirking as he awaited the General. The two of them always had some fun when they hung out - and Heizen could use a little fun right now to blow off all this steam. Canceling his meditation - Heizen stood tall on the ground as he made his way over to Vulpeca without any suspicions. As the large, wide doors closed - there stood the General in all of his usual glory. Heizen smirked calmly with his arms crossed as the General walked to him from across the vast distance of the spacious training room. This faded however as the General got closer - his own face reeking with anger. Instead his expression turned blank and serious. The irritated way that he said Heizen's name seemed strange to him, but he thought nothing of it. Considering the circumstances - it probably made sense that he felt the way that he did. "General," he said with a more serious tone.
He took on the General's scolding well - not even getting upset at his tone. He knew what the older Princess had meant to him. And he was the only Demon he presently respected enough to listen too. "You did. Nothing went according to plan on Saiya. People were sloppy and made mistakes in the fight - which almost cost both Nakiya and Aya their lives," he began. "Perhaps.. I should have paid more attention to what Aya was doing. The numbers were greatly in our favor and we had overpowered them. Admittedly I don't know Nakiya and underestimated her," he said bluntly, not holding back on his words. "Instead of finishing off the Saiyan- she played with him and made a deal that she didn't have too. I had assumed she was going to take care of him and instead he surprised us with a double cross. Not only did he grab Nyxosa and threaten her life - but he broke his own word and surprised everyone," he explained, surmising the events of the battle for him. "Aya did something I couldn't have stopped even if I had the opportunity. She saved her mother from dying again. I did what I could to neutralize the threat before he could recover and kill either of them."
"It's funny really. Their pride and their honor being the only traits I admired about these pitiful Saiyans. But even that proved to be false...," he trailed off to himself, before looking to Vulpeca with a blank look in his eyes. Heizen walked up and put a hand on his shoulder. "Do not worry Vulpeca. We will make them suffer for this. For their transgressions against Nyxosa, against Aya, against all of us - we will kill the thousands upon thousands of Saiyans to come from these pitiful remnants. We will erase them from existence and thrive on the ashes of their fallen race. For every wound on her we will brutally torture and murder one of their precious loved ones! The few that remain!"
A light scoff escaped Vulpeca’s lips as Heizen stood to greet him. He looked angry, and grew angrier as Heizen gave him the rundown of what happened on Saiya (Of course Nakiya already knew, but his perspective wasn’t all that flattering). Although the longer that Heizen spoke, Vulpeca would visibly calm down to the point of neutrality. He offered up a light nod as he crossed his own arms now as he looked at Heizen.
“Queen Nakiya, works in a way that very few understand. She doesn’t do anything without having several reasons for it, and just as many alternate plans to the original. When mortals think of Demons, the first thing they think of is selling your soul to them to gain power, our Queen takes that quite literally. If she made any sort of deal, then there was a very good reason for it you might not understand.” He explained, looking rather sagely for a moment as he locked eyes with the Jackal Demon. He wasn’t overly critical, but rightfully so… nakiya couldn’t expect all of those under her command to understand her plans or her reasoning, but at least there was one thing they had in common, they ruthless hatred of the saiyans.
“You are right that the Saiyan’s will suffer, I’ll devour them all myself if I have too, though we won’t give them the opportunity to increase their numbers. The saiyans will become extinct with this generation. Now come, you called me here to train didn’t you? Let’s see how much you’ve actually improved with your skills with this little squabble on Saiya. Show me just how strong your Demonis Will really is” He stated as he unfolded his arms and took a single step away from Heizen, not creating all that much distance between the two.

Perhaps Heizen was merely angering the General with his account of the battle. In the Demon's mind however if Vulpeca dared to lose control and attack - Heizen would just shed these weights and defend himself. He was no longer inferior to the General - and if forced to defend himself he would. Heizen's body tensed lightly as he watched the Demon's reactions - mentally preparing himself should an attack come. None ever came however. Heizen acknowledged the General's point. "Perhaps. Being under Morto's thumb for so long I suppose I've gotten accustomed to the more destructive tendencies of the Demons. The Queen is entirely different with her own methods. Maybe that'll prove to be a good thing. I never was fond of him or his ways, after all." he said thoughtfully. His red eyes stared into the Demon General's rather passively.
On the topic of the Saiyans - Heizen couldn't help but grin. They would soon face their just punishment and find themselves dragged out of existence. He would help make sure of it personally. "Indeed. They have no idea what is coming for them..," he said with a chuckle. His mind once again trailing to a certain book. He was so close now. Once he could control his energy everything would become perfect - and he would rise to greatness. Taking his stance as he held his arms at his sides with his claws facing upward - a dark blue energy surrounding Heizen in a thick field of light - Heizen prepared for their next session. "This armor is to me restrict my energy so that I can exercise better control over it. For so long I've had to fight with all of my power at once or face death. By learning how to fight while holding back - I will increase the bond and mastery with my energy and bring myself to greater heights. On Saiya I grew one step closer to reaching the dormant potential that has been held back for years by Mortos," he explained. Suddenly his power boosted itself to a still impressive level. Not that far off from where he had been when he took down Mortos in the same manner he had Negi. He wouldn't always be able to sneak up and nuke his opponents however. He had to learn how to fight on an even playing field without the Makyo Star - otherwise he would be relying on its crutches for eternity.
"Here I come!" he shouted as his power level increased by triple its previous amount. Heizen rushed at Vulpeca aiming for a diagonal swipe of his claws, the motion going downward as his arm extended for the claws to meet his stomach.
OOC Note: *Reserving the power I gained from Red like Roses until later in the thread. You can apply the boost to Nakiya though <3. Also I figured like last time we'd keep this more freeform instead of using the mechanics. So feel free to just RP this freely and not worry about all the math. As long as we know where their PL's stand we're fine I think.*
Used BG MA of Royal Demon Arts to Swipe at Vulpeca.
'Mortos? So the dog was one of his henchmen? Vulpeca did mention he was behind that little civil war he tried to stir up...' Nakiya thought to herself, no reaction to her face at the surprise of hearing Mortos' name being brought up here. She knew the upstart for quite some time, he had been eyeing the throne even in the days of her brother being the Overlord of the Demon Realm. Honestly she was surprised it had taken him so long to make a move, considering the throne had been empty for some time before she had ascended to power. There was no way Mortos was weaker than Crowley... so what exactly had Mortos' end game been? Was there more to Crowley's story she was still unaware of? Well... it was a good thing she kept that miserable bastard alive, wasn't it?
"The Queen's methods are... unusual, she only now has become more destructive. When I was first created she never would have lifted a finger in an effort to destroy a planet, she would only use her cunning to make others do it for her. Hence the creation of Caesar~" Vulpeca explained... Nakiya found it strangely easy to talk to Heizen, especially when she was wearing Vulpeca's mask. The Demon, while a brute and still clearly entirely too weak, was the first Demon in quite some time to have similar thoughts to her own, the first in a long time to have such a true hatred for the saiyans as she... beyond Nyxosa of course.
"Restricting your power... I suppose that's one way to go about it, Demon nobles are able to control their powers enough to give us our more mortal appearances, hiding our true natures from one another. I see you haven't discovered how to do that yet... perhaps this will be good for you in the end then." He said thoughtfully, his left leg slipping behind him as he fell into the Demon Arts traditional fighting stance. Heizen's movements were slowed due to the armor, and so Vulpeca had no trouble dodging him, pushing himself backwards just enough that Heizen's claws would swipe harmlessly inches away from his armor. Again and again Vulpeca would dodge, moving this way and that to keep Heizen moving. Not once did the fox Demon move his arms to defend himself, instead letting them slip into the pockets of the jacket he wore as he just, dodged.
"Keeping your energy under control is all well and good, however... you'll never defeat me without your full strength. Dig Deeper, look inside yourself and listen to your energy, feel it as it rushes through your primal body. Listen to the cry of the Demon inside of you and pull that out, call on it's strength and use it to make yourself stronger." He continued to coax, hoping that his explanation of the Demonic Will Technique was sufficient for the Jackal Demon to learn quickly. If he couldn't learn these techniques, then he would be nothing but a waste of her time in the end...

"While the games of webs and machinations can indeed be fun - it is sometimes more effective to utilize a show of force. These Saiyans, the Earthlings, and all the other groups of mortals who look at us and treat us like dirt are all the same in the end. Greed and Lust are temporary measures of satisfying and dealing with these creatures. You can satiate their desires for awhile to earn their favor and bend their will, but you are doomed to be bitten eventually. Desire evolves and mutates until suddenly it may not be what you offer anymore. And that's when the tables turn," he began most cynically. He had learned this from his own time on Earth with the mortals. Suusao being the most prominent example in his mind. "It's only when they are afraid that they know boundaries and respect. By destroying Saiya - the rest of the Universe knows their place. Most of them cannot breach our realm while we can assault theirs," he observed. Makai had been meant as the Demon's prison, their punishment. Instead it had become their sanctuary, their base, their haven. The Kaioshins of old were fools to have left them with such an advantage.
"And while the Saiyans may be a stubborn bunch - they too will eventually fall and bend the knee. The only thing in this Universe that could possibly save them is the wish orbs of legend that have once existed. By taking control of that factor and seizing control over their hopes- you can instill the fear into them that will make them do whatever nasty thing our Queen wants," he said, unaware of who he was speaking to and the significance of his words. Indeed he had spoken quite a bit more than usual- but his mind had been spinning with these thoughts. One could never really tell how his mind worked as he thought of so many different variables all at once. Some of which were random and had no impact on the situation at hand.
As the subject had switched to his power and training method - Heizen found himself a bit confused. He could have sworn that he had already had this discussion with Vulpeca regarding his training method and hopes of controlling his energy. He supposed that given everything that happened - Vulpeca had let it slip off his mind. Heizen made no further thought of it. "Indeed. Controlling my ki has always proven difficult. I have never been able to access the suppression forms of some of the other Demons. I suspect it has something to do with magic, a spell to restrain my potential as a fighter," he explained to Vulpeca. The spell forced him into this monster form preventing him from returning to a suppression form. Although it left Heizen using all of his power at once all the time (thereby making it easy to destroy his enemies) - it also left his growth potential out of whack. By not being able to control his energy he was never able to fully access and regulate his power at will. He theorized that as a result of the spell he could only access a large fraction of his power, whilst some of it forever escaped his reach.
If he could just continue to get stronger he could breach that spell's influence and access his full energy! And from then on regulate it and head on towards the steps of becoming a real Demon Lord.
As the two did their dance - Heizen found himself slightly annoyed as Vulpeca dodged his blows effortlessly. Being forced down by this armor was a pain in the ass. He wanted to show Vulpeca his progress, his true power! But to do that would be to ruin the point of the exercise. Still - it bothered him that the Demon Fox couldn't even raise up his arms to defend himself. It was just pathetic to see how much he was holding back and still not even breaking a sweat. The Demon Fox even managed to lecture him as the fight went on - pissing off the Jackal Demon a bit, a vein protruding from his forehead quite visibly. Power erupted from the Jackal Demon and through the armor. Despite the fact that he was wearing the Katchin-infused power dampener - his energy was still reaching levels capable of wiping out a planet if concentrated with enough force. A true sign of the enormous progress he had been making.
"Fine... you want my full strength? Well then - here you go big guy!" he shouted as he extended a hand, his energy rather concentrated and focused as the rage inside of him manifested into his attack. Heizen was a Demon whose power was fueled by rage, anger, and violence. It's part of what made him so strong sometimes in major battles as his rage climaxed. Suddenly a barrage of well focused yellow and orange orbs of light came rushing to meet the Demon Fox head on. Should they connect - they would explode across the entirety of the Demon Fox's body in a series of small explosions.
Silence filled the air... as Heizen realized the sudden boost in power that had done. It felt like a miniature version of the kind of thing he felt when channeling the Makyo Star or the Demon Realm itself. "How was that..." he huffed with a stupid grin on his face. Surely that had to have impressed him. He didn't know of many Demons who could handle an attack like that under these conditions and still have plenty of energy to spare.

[Activated Demon Lord. By harnessing the power of rage Heizen accessed his inner Demonic soul which is fueled by Wrath. Heizen's OT-1 attack was roughly around 400k as a result of the Buff. His new PL is 942,862 as a result of the Katchin armor]
What Heizen had to say was... interesting. Nakiya found herself listening to him quite intently, curious as to what her plots looked like from the outside looking in. What was truly frustrating to her was the fact that he was right, and she knew that now thanks to Towa's instruction in the after-life. Before she had died Nakiya had been far too focused on 'correcting' the galaxy. Attempting to change it and fix it to how she wanted it. Now? No Now she understood that she had to TAKE it. She had to completely crush those that opposed her, she needed to show a strength she had not shown in the past. She was devious, she had always been, but she always used others to do her bidding. That had to change. With this new power, this new confidence Nakiya was planning to become a leader that would stand at the front of her armies and not hide among them while someone pretended to be her. No. She would make sure that the very thought of her would strike fear into the hearts of those who dared to dream of her.
The only part she disagreed with, was when Heizen mentioned that the Saiyans would kneel. That was where he was wrong, for in the future the Demon Queen would bring, the Saiyans would be an extinct species altogether. She let that slide for now however as Heizen went no to talk about some sort of magic sealing his powers away. She would just let a out a scoff at that as she continued to easily maneuver around his strikes.
<He's changed in such a short time... looks like that battle was quite insightful for him> Vulpeca's voice broke through to her mind, to which the Demon Queen made no reaction too. It was such second nature for her now to use her mind to speak that it rarely ever came as a surprise anymore. <Perhaps. If he knew that I was here then I would say he was choosing his words wisely. He does seem to have a genuine distaste for the rest of the Galaxy which is good... I could use that strength, although if he continues to act like a mutt while under me then I will proceed to treat him as such. Tell me Vulpeca, what's his end game?> She would ask him silently as a sudden surge of power emerged from Heizen that caused her to shut down her mental communications with Vulpeca in favor of focusing on the fight at hand. It looked like she had effectively made him mad which caused him to lash out, however instead of attempting to dodge him once more she would smirk, her grin almost cruel as the blast approached her. She would let go of some of the restraints on her power, unlocking Vulpeca's Full fledged Demon Form. This would make it extremely difficult to dodge as Vulpeca's body burned with a bright white fire that would blind most of those that looked upon him.
Heizen's blast smashed directly into the flames, piercing through them and seeming to of have succeeded. However, as the flames cleared the massive form of Vulpeca would become visible with Heizen blast held at bay between his teeth. The large fox would then chomp down on the energy with an intense power that caused the blast to explode, and yet no damage was done to the large fox. Vulpeca's true Demonic form was one children told horror stories of, a mouth that was entierly too big for his snout, white fur with blood red markings covering his body, saliva that would burn holes through the floor of this room if he allowed it too. The size of this beast was no where near as large as Vulpeca however, containing his size to make sure he didn't destroy the room or the mansion.
< Not bad, but still a far cry from where you need to be. Tell me Heizen... before I teach you this next technique of the Royal Demon Arts... what is your end game? The Queen and I have our own reasons for hating the living realm and wanting it to bend to her will... but you, what is it you're after? > The large fox's voice would project itself into the Jackal Demons mind, his fiery red eyes locked onto Heizen as he stood still now, waiting for an answer... pending what Heizen would say would depict his future, little did he know...

Heizen found this conversation between Vulpeca and himself amusing. Usually the Fox was a little more… simple. They would talk about more devilish things like physical entanglements, food, and other simple pleasures. Or they were talking about the next battle to come. They had talked about the Saiyan Invasion possibility a lot recently. Their chances of victory were not non-existent, but lower than either of the Demons desired. Their biggest defense was the fact that very few of these Saiyans could enter the Demon Realm. It took time to learn how to make a Demonic Gateway - so even with Kinoko wandering around the Universe - there was only a few she could probably teach their secrets too.
But this conversation was more philosophical. More… personal. It was almost weird to him. He wasn’t used to talking this much to Vulpeca about what he thought. He supposed this would make their feast later all the more enjoyable. They wouldn’t be as focused on fighting.
Smirking at his work - Heizen felt the smallest bit of pride for a moment as his energy skyrocketed with the advancement of the technique. It wasn’t much, but it was definitely progress for the Demon Lord. To be able to fight just below a normal Super Saiyan’s level while wearing this heavy, power-dampening ass gear meant wonders for his potential. The idea of going to war and destroying their better fighters made him ecstatic.
This brief pride was torn away however as Vulpeca was rather harsh with his performance. The Demon Fox remained unimpressed, which annoyed the Jackal Demon a bit. Watching the Demon Fox show off by transforming somewhat and thereby overpowering the Demon Lord’s powers. The point of this exercise was to push Heizen, but he still found this annoying. Clearly Vulpeca wanted to feel like he was still the superior of the two, when without these weights they were more like equals. Heizen would make sure to show him.
Telling Heizen that he still wasn’t where he needed to be was more than enough to annoy him even further. That was the point of this, was it not? However this was quickly discarded as the General asked him a strange question. His purpose? What was he after? His body relaxed for a moment as he stood still. “You’re probably the first person to ask me that. Thus far...as I’ve seen they all don’t care to know as long as I’m fighting on their side,” he trailed off as he wiped dirt off of his body and slowly floated in the air. Red eyes staring into the Fox’s as he began to ponder the words on how to say this.
Heizen had fought for himself for his whole life. Though he served others for a long time he had always planned his own schemes. Killing Malokai, Killing Mortos. Since both of his masters were dead he had technically by all means been free. Claiming Mortos’ title and his army (what was left of it) had already given him more than he had ever asked for. So why did he fight? He chuckled. The question amused him. He supposed he knew the answer. “I suppose I want what all of us really want. Freedom,” he said, that low raspy chuckle still echoing in the air. Looking off at the wall with a smile - his mind wandered as he thought of the future. “It’s true that I’ve killed those who I would call ‘master’, but yet still chains exist all around me. Chains on my power to keep me from fully accessing it. Chains on my existence: that which is eternally threatened by fools who would dare to challenge me, challenge my home and my allies. Chained from the hatred and loathing all those feel toward our kind,” he continued on explaining as his mind scanned and scoured all the faces and all the names of those of whom he spoke.
The Saiyans, the Earthlings. So many of them with their preconceived notions. “So why do I fight? I want to fight until the day comes when my enemies are all destroyed, when I have a place I can truly call my own. My own planet... A place like Earth would do nicely, assuming all the filth and pests are extinguished. Rebuild it up from scratch and make it a paradise for me and all those on my side…,” he explained thoughtfully. “Have you ever heard the phrase coined by the Anubians, Vulpeca? ‘Before Creation Comes Destruction’?” he asked with a raised eyebrow. “Do you know what comes before Destruction?” he asked again, though this time it was more of a rhetorical question than an actual inquiry. He knew the answer. And with it he grinned with that same wide devilish smirk plastered on his face.
"That's usually the case for Demons to be frank. It doesn't matter why you fight, so long as you fight or serve. It's a little different with my Queen, intentions guide actions, and if she cannot trust your intention well... you don't make it very far." She said passively as she fell silent to listen to his words. He fought for freedom, mostly his own freedom but that of the Demon realms as well. He wanted to remove the prejudiced the demons faced and show that they were the superior beings. Only whenever there was no one left in this universe would that be a reality, and it aligned oh so well with Nakiya's own intentions. The new beings she was releasing into the universe knew of the might of the Demons, they would forever see Demons as their gods, and only when those creations where the only beings left would things be as they wanted them too.
Nakiya found herself silent long after Heizen finished speaking, processing his words, his earlier actions and defiance. Why should she reward such a mutt for acting so disobediently before? Why should she care that he wanted to same as she? She didn't, but the nobles, the lower caste they needed true rulers, and they needed a legitimate line to succeed. She would let out a heavy sigh finally, still in Vulpeca's form as she looked back into Heizen's eyes as he asked her what came before destruction. It was indeed Chaos... and oh the Chaos they would bring to the worlds above.
"An answer fit to hear from a King. Focus on that intention, on that passion. Focus on the Chaos in your own heart, on your very Demonic will. Draw it out of you as easily as you would draw on the very ki you use. Being a true Demon, a Demon with purpose gives you strength, command it and attack me again." She instructed him as she taught him the final technique of the Royal Demon Arts intermediate tier of training. Heizen did indeed have a long way to go, but he was slowly succeeding...

“Fair enough,” he acknowledged in response to the Fox’s reply. Heizen wasn’t a huge fan of the way that the Demon Lords treated those below them. It’s what caused the discord that weakened their forces for the incoming wars to come. Had the Demon Lords not squabbled with each other and sowed the seeds of hatred into those below them - Makai would be stronger right now than it currently was. Mortos and Fenos could have been huge improvements to their forces. The Demon Dragon that Mortos had created would have especially been fruitful for their forces. Instead now they were forced to endure this trial with the remnants of their pathetic species. It was sad to him that Heizen reigned as one of the strongest of their kind after only a few months worth of training. Perhaps the Demon Realm was just lacking in real talent these days.
The Demon looked at Vulpeca with a rather serious stare. Heizen was beginning to suspect the Demon somewhat, as the Demon Fox was so much more serious than usual. Vulpeca had never been this serious with him, save for their very first meeting. Was Nakiya influencing him now that she was back from the dead? He wasn’t sure. But it proved unsettling. If it was because of Nakiya then it didn’t matter anyway. Heizen could do nothing to temper that woman’s will. He was far too weak, and not charming enough to get her to like him.
As Vulpeca coached him to repeat the process and push himself to his limits - Heizen grinned. “Alright. But I’m warning you... I’m not holding back. This time you’ll really feel everything I’ve got!” Heizen said as he ran a finger through the air. Feeling his rage, his hatred course through him with the thoughts of the Saiyans, the Earthlings, and of all those who had wronged him… Heizen felt a trigger inside. Negative Energy coursing through him to channel and manifest in his attacks. With the trail of his finger - white specks of shard-like ki began to manifest and shoot out at quick speeds toward Vulpeca. It would take his full power to resist these without getting damaged. For that was the power of Heizen. The strength of the uprising Demon Lord.
The shards when they barraged him would be noticeably small, and sharp. They were not something that the Demon could hope to block or take in without bleeding. His only option was to dodge or destroy them! Heizen wondered how he planned to respond to this.
The Jackal certainly didn’t make it easy this time.

[Heizen used VT-2 Hell Needle Barrage. Lots of Tiny Small Sharp shard-like ki blasts heading to barrage Nakiya. It is considered unblockable meaning she’ll need a Barrier, A Dodge, or an actual technique to destroy all the incoming shards.
Heizen activated Demonic Will and combined it with Makyo Power, thereby doubling his PL for this one attack!]
"Oh, will I?" Nakiya would ask as a cruel smirk crossed her features as she just stood there, challenging the Jackal Demon without so much as a twitch. She didn't put up a defense or any kind of guard at all. Instead she just watched him gather his energy, watched as you could tell he was focusing on that corruption in his heart... It was always such a beautiful thing to watch... the hatred swell inside of someone to the point that it would burst forth as their very Demonic Will, empowering them and making them even more fearsome than before...
A lot in the Demoness had changed... not 5 years ago Nakiya would have abhorred the idea of training herself, of fighting against someone else... the thought of delving into her hatred and lust for corruption wasn't even a passing thought in her mind as a young scientist. Truly with her own water corrupting her, with the teachings of her aunt Towa among the various other magicks affecting the Queen, she had become quite the sadistic monster. She'd truly become what most feared a Demon was...
She didn't move from her spot, only choosing to extend her arms to either side of her body as if she was about to guard someone behind her... Instead, as Heizen's shards grew close, she allowed them to pierce into her body, cutting at what seemed to be Vulpeca's uniform and into her skin. Multiple wounds were inflicted all over her body, drawing blood from hundreds of small cuts created by the attack. The form of Vulpeca began to fade, shimmering as if he was covered in smoke for a moment before instead being replaced by the form of the Demon Queen herself.
Her own clothes were destroyed, falling to the floor in tatters and leaving her form naked for only a brief moment. Scales began to appear over her body, growing to cover parts of her arms, her breasts, her sides, hips and nether regions. Behind her, her large dragon like tail grew and her wings would seem to materialize out os nowhere. The wounds on the Queens body remained intact, though now hidden by the thick layer of scales that covered them. The only thing now visible was the constant drip of blood through those very same scales.
She didn't seem fazed by it however, staring at Heizen with a smirk playing the Queen's lips.
"Well done mutt~ Seems you aren't as useless as I deemed you to be." She stated in her own voice now, curious to see how the Jackal Demon would react to her presence. As far as she knew he hadn't expected it to be her. She wanted to see how he reacted to hitting her, but mostly she had wanted to feel the true testament of his power for what it was... feel how much damage it could inflict. And while it hurt like a bitch, she wouldn't let that show on her face. She would heal herself later but for now she had to stray strong in the face of pain.

“You will!” he shouted back in response to Vulpeca’s challenge to his statement. Nothing infuriated him further than the lack of acknowledgement from the Demon Lord, from his disrespect by not even prepping his guard. Well when Heizen unleashed this attack - Vulpeca would be wishing that he had not scoffed at his power! He would feel the agony of the Demon Lord’s arsenal of tricks! The shards began to tear at the flesh in a series of agonizing cuts across the entirety of the Demon’s body. It was truly a fearsome attack, and not one that someone should have taken lightly. As blood leaked from the Fox Demon - Heizen could only stare as the smoke revealed how much damage he did. Panting from the vulnerability of the effort of his attack - Heizen was completely exhausted. He was exerting himself, pushing himself far beyond his limits for the sake of pride. This wasn’t good for his life force. To push himself to this degree. But yet he couldn’t help it. This was simply how he was. He refused to feel weak, to feel inferior. Even when he was. He collapsed onto one knee, tightly clutching his chest in order to help himself breath… he really had overdone it this time.
As the smoke cleared- the Jackal Demon’s red eyes stared expectantly… only to widen as they gazed on the voluptuous form of the Demon Queen made bare. The Demon Queen herself - Nakiya Devla. A normal being would have gazed lustfully, longingly at the Demon Queen’s exposure, but being a Demon himself… Heizen was used to the nudity of others. Many of the Demons of this realm were depraved beings constantly satisfying their desires. Some could say he himself was one of these beings from time to time. Chuckling to himself at the sight of the Demon Queen - Heizen seemed amused. “Well.. at least that explains why something felt off…,” the Demon Lord said aloud to the Demon Queen, his breathing slowed and normal again as the fatigue began to wear off.
“Very clever - using the Fox Demon to get to me, to investigate me. You had me fooled… at least for a good while. Though I never would have guessed it was you and not him standing before me,” Heizen complimented her, his sharp gaze transfixed on the Demon Queen as he stood back up on his feet. This was probably the first time she had done something to amuse him, even though it was not her intention to do so. “That’s quite an ability. I’m sure it must come in handy,” he stated plainly for her, not seemingly bothered by the deceit. It wasn’t exactly his style however. Though he liked his trickery - there was something honest about his tricks. Impersonations and transformations involved a level of deceit that the Demon just wasn’t accustomed to using. He didn’t need it, and it wasn’t what he was built for. He was a blood instrument meant to slice into the hearts of their enemies. He was once Malokai’s and Morto’s… but now he was Nakiya’s.
He was impressed with her fortitude. To take an attack like that head on… and not even flinch. He had a long way to go if he hoped to catch up to the Demon Queen’s immense powers, or at least to ever compare. She wouldn’t be the strongest Demon in this Universe forever. He would close to gap. It may take a few decades, but he would find a way to do it. “Impressive. You barely seem fazed by that attack,” he said as he began to walk slowly toward her to close the distance and allow them to properly chat, rather than raising their voices at each other from across. Heizen figured now was a good time to call the session for a bit…
Nakiya's body continued to bleed, the open wounds now covered in scales still red and actually quite painful. The Demoness kept the pain hidden behind a strong mask however, refusing to show the Jackal Demon that it had hurt her at all. If there was one thing Nakiya hated more than anything else, it was being touched or hit. Normally she would have torn off her opponents head for daring to strike at her... but lately the Demon Queen had changed quite a bit. She had a new found strength about her that made her much more deadly than before, and it was all thanks to her aunt Towa.
Her blood red eyes continued to bear into Heizen's as he simply seemed... amused by the fact that she hadn't been who he thought she was. She would raise an eyebrow when he mentioned that something felt off. He then went on to compliment her shape shifting ability and how masterfully she could conceal herself. She simply gave a light chuckle, shrugging her shoulders before placing her hands on her hips, her newly grown tail swaying from side to side slowly behind her. It was hard to tell if, like most animals, that meant she was happy, as it seemed more like a sadistic contentment with the look on her face.
"It's possibly the most important skill at my disposal honestly. It's only through deception that I've been able to come this far, to bring the universe to it's knee's like this without so much as lifting a finger myself. Until recently of course" she gave a wave of her hand as if dismissing everything that had happened on planet Saiya. She would wait for him to approach, locking her eyes onto his once more as he then went on to comment on how well she was holding up against his attack. Truth be told it was extremely painful, but again, she wasn't going to let that show.
"Please, you've got a long way to go before you can truly wish to hurt me, Heizen. Now, if you don't mind getting to business then? For starters..." *WHAM* Nakiya's tail would soar out from behind her, aiming to hit Heizen in the gut much like if Nakiya was aiming to punch him.
"That's for talking down to your Queen on Planet Saiya. The next time you speak to me in such a way I will literally crate you." She staated coldly, her eyes staring at him with a moment of loathing. She didn't take it beyond that though, returning her tail behind her as she crossed her arms in front of her, looking the Demon up and down and letting a soft sigh escape her lips.
"Were you serious, when you told me you desired to end all those that would suppress us? That you wanted to see Demon's reign over the weak mortals of the living realm?" She asked in a much calmer tone now that she had gotten a good chunck of her frustrations out of her system

He had to admit. Drawing blood in of itself was a pretty nice victory for the Demon Lord. He thought he had been fighting Vulpeca this entire time - but instead it was the Demon Queen herself. One of the strongest in the entirety of this Universe (let alone the Demon Realm). He was making good progress. His next goal was to compete with the Super Saiyan Two warriors of their forces. Once he reached that level of power - he would be able to throw a wrench into their plans more effectively. By accessing his full power - he was sure he could overcome the tier of powers limited to mere Super Saiyans.
He stood in front of the Demon Queen, his red eyes calmly staring into her own. Behind those orbs she would see his fierce will. He was not easily pushed around, even if he was much weaker. He served Nakiya and would do so with loyalty, but he was not one who appreciated disrespect. She would soon realize she would find a much easier time dealing with him by treating him more like an ally than a minion. His slave days were gone, far behind him. He wasn’t trading his old master for a new one, and she was a fool if she thought she was safe treating him as such. Though he was a brute, though he was a warrior who enjoyed combat: he was not a Saiyan. He did not suffer from their pride, from their honor.
He enjoyed the thrill of taking one’s life, of having the power to rip that essence known as one’s existence by nothing more than his own will alone. He also loved to set the course of one’s downfall from the shadows, to prey on one’s weaknesses and exploit it and allow the chips to fall where they may. To pit enemies against one another for his own amusement.
If he saw an opportunity to stab someone in the back, and was given reason to- he would. Deals, Negotiations, Bargains: They were all temporary arrangements that he found subject to ratification. Ever Changing with circumstances. If anyone dared to seek his wrath - they would suffer for it by any means necessary to accomplish it.
The two were locked in a rather transfixed set of gazes, focused on each other whilst ignoring their surroundings entirely. Neither of them addressing the blood that dripped on the floor of the clean training chamber.
Nakiya was the first to break the silence with a chuckle, seemingly amused by his compliment. It would seem she liked having her ego stroked, of all things. The most important skill in her arsenal? That seemed interesting. So she didn’t always like getting her hands dirty herself. That explained a few things on Saiya. She was a strategist and a scientist before a warrior, not the other way around as he was. Still - that made her power all the more impressive. She didn’t work for it half as hard as he did. The curse of her Devla blood he supposed. Among other things. “That day might be sooner than you think,” the Jackal Demon retorted with a chuckle.
However - he didn’t see the tail incoming. Gasping as she punched him with her tail out of nowhere. He felt her power firsthand - and it was painful. Clutching his stomach with both of his arms as his gaze broke, instead facing the ground. Hot fury burned as he looked up with his crimson eyes glowing with a bright shimmering, as their gaze could have pierced the ground he stared at. For the briefest of instances, dark blue sparks danced as his power soared even higher. Like a small spark however - it vanished with the moment into nothingness. His power increase albeit immense unable to sustain itself. His power returned to its previous level, and his nerves calmed down with his reason restored.
He remembered who he was dealing with here, and retribution would earn him nothing more than a swift death. “Yes… my Queen,” he muttered loud enough for her to hear. He recovered after a series of moments - toughing it out. His face was no longer pleasant, instead maintaining a more annoyed expression, but restrained from expressing outward loathing. She seemed to have been venting her own negative feelings, but that was the mere extent of it. At least she had that going for her. Any more than that and she’d have had a problem on her hands, regardless of power or status.
“...I did,” the Demon Lord responded with a nod, answering her confirmation of his answers from their conversation before. “During my last visit to the Mortal Realm, I visited Earth and saw these mortals for what they were. They are all cruel beings full of the same traits and flaws as us, but they think themselves better. They loathe us, they hate us. Merely hatred for the sake of hatred.
Their world rejects us, and so I reject their world in turn. And so I have embraced their vision of us and so I shall burn them in Hellfire. I wish to become the monster they created…,” he elaborated for her, a scowl on his face as he spoke. “The Demons lurking in the shadows. The nightmares that children fear of in the night….
The only thing people seem to respond to is a display of violence, especially these Saiyans. What they may label as evil - I label the only natural course of action for a cruel, unjust world,” he continued to explain, as he walked closer, before going around the almost naked Demon Queen and instead toward the door of the training room. Calling out to Nakiya Devla - the Jackal Demon invited her upstairs. There would be no more training for the rest of the hour. “Come now my Queen. We’ll have you cleaned up upstairs. We can dine for now. We can continue this brutal session later today, or even tomorrow if you prefer…,” he offered her. Delphi and Seid likely got the chefs on schedule with their next meal. While normally he dined with the Fox Demon - it seemed that today he would be satisfying the stomach of a Dragon instead…
