This time there was no comeback from the Jackal Demon as her tail found it's mark in his abdomen, there was only confirmation that he understood her words and to that she nodded, accepting this and pulling her tail away from him and allowing him to catch his breath. He would then explain to her how he felt about the mortals, especially those from Earth and the Demon Queen couldn't help but see a little bit of herself in him... While their origins where completely different... they weren't as different as they might seem on the outside.
Growing up Nakiya had everything she ever wanted, she could have become the most powerful Demoness had she stuck to her studies under her father. She instead however preferred her wit and her experiments, choosing instead to follow that path which may have been her undoing in the end... Heizen on the other hand started with nothing and still grew to hate the humans as much as her though for a whole other reason.
"Their world doesn't reject us, at least not in the sense you are implying. Their world would treat us as nothing more then slaves to their whims if they could have their way. Nothing but puppets of war and lust as I myself have experienced as but a child. I however agree that I reject their world... I would see it burn in the fires of the hell they fear. It... pleases me to know that you see things in a similar light to my own. Honestly, not many of our brethren do. they would seek to destroy for the sole sake of destruction, not to better our people or even to claim dominance over the mortal realms. I'm starting to believe that together we may be able to do this." She stated, giving off the first hint as to what she had in mind for Heizen's future. Heizen was powerful, there was no denying that, but he still had a long way to go to be able to tango with the likes of Nasu or the Saiyans. She would bite her lower lip gently as Heizen began to lead the way out of the training room, thinking hard on the decision that had already formed in her mind.
Long ago, Nakiya had decided that the Demon Realm needed a King. A political figure that would help her lead the Demons to a brighter future. Heizen... while very unexpected, was fitting that mold perfectly. She didn't immediately say anything to this however, instead letting the Jackal Demon lead them to the Dining room.
The Queen would earn glanced and gasps from his servants as many would fall to their knee's and bow before her as the pair passed. While she didn't seem to pay them any mind, she was carefully watching all of them, aware of their every movement while they were around her and Heizen. When they arrived, she would take the seat assigned to her, sitting back and crossing her legs elegantly.
"Before we dine, Heizen. Tell me this, could you lead? Could you take this horde of Demon's at my command and lead them against the mortals as a leader? Do you believe you have the strength and will it takes to take up such a mantle and remain so close to me?" She asked, while leaving the "I want you to be my king" detail out of her question until the moment was just right.

Heizen said nothing to the Queen as she began to respond to his explanation. She spoke of her own experiences, and how the mortals would prefer to make the Demons slaves of lust and war. He didn’t doubt it. It hadn’t been his experience, but then again his experiences with the mortals were not as many as that of his Queen. He saw how they treated each other however. Pushing down on one another with death over trivial matters. Every day some human murdered another in cold blood over something trivial, like money. Or over jealousy brewed by competition. The Demons were bad, Heizen made no statements otherwise. But they only reflected the very nature the rest of the Universe shared. The mortals were as they were by their own accord..even Nakiya couldn’t entirely force to make the decisions that they made (no matter how much influence she tried to utilize during her reign). Every action, and every reaction was courtesy of the mortal’s own choices.
“What you say is true…,” Heizen would respond simply at the fact, not having much else to comment for a change. He chuckled however at the rest of her response, as he made his way to his seat, leaning his back and head against the chair while his arms lay on the armrests gently. It was nice to share similar goals. Without those goals - the Jackal Demon was sure that she would have disposed of him without a second thought. “Our brethren suffer from the same disease as the rest of the Universe. These Saiyans… The Earthlings…,” he trailed off, his thoughts focused on the Reign of Nasu, on the reign of Lettis before him as he was informed by old records. The many groups recorded protecting Earth under different banners before disbanding and reforming in a continuous loop. “They are cursed, for they follow blind leaders. The Saiyan King suffers from his pride and honor, both of which tie his fate down. It is those things that explain why he fell on Earth. He would not retreat even if it meant the salvation of his race…,” he began to explain from observing the Saiyan King in their brief interactions, and off the data he had gathered on him. “The Earthlings suffer from their own idealism. They divide themselves for each is following their own self-righteous code of chivalry. It’s why they have disbanded and reformed under so many banners. First they was a different group... then the Earth Special Forces no? Then Knights of the Round. Now… I believe X-Fighters was the term? No one even need fight them.
Eventually they’ll destroy themselves from the inside over their ideals…,” he explained fully. “As for our brethren… we’ve had many Demon Lords running around on their own agendas for the longest time. Them and their followers doing as they pleased. Mortos… Fenos… Azazel… and a few of the others. Some stealing power for themselves to claim the throne. Others wasting away in pathetic pleasure without lifting a damn finger in the wars of our kind. Though Chaos is what we strive for in the Universe…
If our own people live in that kind of chaos.. Then our own battle strength is minimal. It’s time we reined in the others that remain and made them submit and serve your family,” he tried to explain, while revealing his next plans for Makai and the Demons. They needed the utmost strength of Makai if they ever hoped to fight back an invading Saiyan armada. Especially if Nasu managed to achieve what Jarvis and Nakiya had - to return from the afterlife once more at full strength. “I’ve been grooming one of my servants to serve as a Demon Lord himself should one of our Lords seek to betray you and refuse to swear fealty. He grows stronger by the day… soon he may even be a match for me and Vulpeca…,” the Demon Lord explained. Seid had shown amazing progress in their last training session. He might have even had enough power to challenge Lord Fenos himself should the man still exist. Looking at Nakiya with those red, vibrant eyes staring at her, he couldn’t help but smile.
“So I guess it is you who should tell me whether or not I’d be fit to help control this chaos?” he mused with a chuckle. “As for the Strength… I’m working my way towards that. I reckon within the week I will maximize my strength and learn how to control my energy. When that day arises… even you might suffer a bruise or two in wrestling with me,” he teased with a flickering gaze.
Perhaps the two of them would learn to get along after all. She was bringing about more amusement than he had ever hoped to find from her company….
The moment she sat back, one of Heizen’s underlings came up and began pouring her a glass of wine. It didn’t seem like Nakiya reacted at all to the shaky Demon beyond her eyes shifting to look down towards them. There was a long silence before Heizen would simply agree with her initial statement, and Nakiya finally let a sigh escape her lips as the Demon began to back away with its head down.
<I ask only for respect, not fear young one. It’s not the most glamorous life I bet but it is yours, hold your head up high knowing you are doing it the best you can.> Her words were silently spoken into the young servants mind, causing them to look up immediately towards the Demon Queen who had already looked away from them, glass of wine in hand and sipping at the substance.
“There nothing I can truly add to your statement, I have to admit you are right on all accounts. Demons are far from perfect individuals, but the society I am trying to create should correct that. We’ll be rid of those lazy Demons who chose to not even lift a finger for their realm, and we will reign in the foolish nobles that think they can challenge my throne. “ She would swirl the wine in the glass for a moment before taking a sip of the drink once more, only bringing it down when Heizen spoke of a Demon he was raising to become a lord...
“You know why it is they think they can claim it right? For starters because I’m the first female ruler in centuries. My brother, my father, grandfather… they were all the true rulers of their time… They won’t calm down until they have a man to look up too~” She stated calmly, nodding her head towards another servant that began to bring food to the table, placing a delicious assortment of dishes in front of her, all made from food that came from the Demon Realm itself.
“That is why I need you to master your power Heizen. I need you to be able to control this Demonic form of yours and stay by my side. I do think you have the strength and the drive for the role of a King~ Though know it won’t be an easy task. You’ll have little power in the end, really only the influence that comes with being my King. It’ll be the first step towards putting those nobles in their place, and it will show the low class Demons that even a slave can rise up and claim power. As King, you can make that little friend of yours into a very influential lord indeed~” There she would put her now empty glass of wine back down onto the table, her own crimson eyes bearing into Heizen’s as if she expected an immediate answer from the beast. No doubt she wouldn’t get one… Heizen seemed… well a lot like her truth be told. Collected and Smart… he would take time to think this over, and it would give her time to come to terms with her own decision.

The Jackal Demon seemed quite surprised by his underlings fear in the Queen. Red eyes staring intrigued by the interaction, watching the encounter curiously with a focused gaze. He was almost envious of the way that she inspired fear in his men. The sweat that the demon emanated from nervousness was so surreal. His eyes dilated immensely. He supposed her gorgeous face didn’t help things either, the Demon Queen stirring desire in all of those who would dare gaze on her. Even Heizen, with all of his annoyances and distrust towards her, couldn’t help but steal such a glance every now and then. That desire brought out fear, as acting on those thoughts and instincts could spell certain doom. “Yes my Queen…,” the Demon squeaked quietly in response to her aloud, too soft for Heizen’s ears to catch.
The small Demon servant then made his way over to Heizen, pouring that same wine in his glass gently. All the while making eye contact, though Heizen ignored him for the most part. So long as he did not bother the Demon Lord - Heizen had no reason to be upset with him. Everyone had their parts to play, and the Jackal Demon certainly did not consider his own standards for his men to be too high. Obedience, Competency, and Loyalty were the three pillars Heizen stood by, what he looked for in his men. So long as all three of those were followed he would reward them by sharing as much of his wealth and knowledge as he could (without subverting his own status over them). Failure brought punishment, which would be harsh to foster strength. But disobedience, betrayal- those two things ended in fates of the unfortunate. There was no realm one could hide to escape the Demon Lord’s wrath, not even Hell itself. He thought specifically of the slaughter he had conducted after his first great betrayal, after his bannermen plotted against him - for it served as a great example. Only Seid survived that encounter, while the rest met ends that were too painful and brutal to properly describe.
He sipped his wine with a calm, patient sip. Only taking in a small portion of the large glass and its contents. The fruits worked well with the substance to provide a delicate balance, dulling the sense while still remaining enjoyable. And so did the two continue their discussion.
Nakiya seemed pleased by his statements, agreeing with his proposal to kill the Demons who did not submit whilst bringing those who could under the fold. That brought a rather amused smile, as it seemed they were finally able to start agreeing on things. A partnership blooming that would shake the very foundations of the Universe itself. He openly laughed at her next bit of dialogue, as he found some level of truth in her statements. A rather low, raspy set of chuckling emanating in the dining hall. “True. I do believe you are the first since the Demon Goddess Towa. Though they are fools…,” he trailed off after the laughter died down. Staring at the Queen more directly now across the table, a smile on his face. “Men do sometimes possess more physical strength, but it is the Women who can be more clever, who possess the true cruelty that this Universe needs.” he said. He did believe that that was the first genuine compliment he had ever given directed to Nakiya since they met.
It was then however that the conversation was interrupted, as meats and fruits of all kinds plastered across the wide dinner table. The scent of the delicious buffet was almost enough to make his mouth water. Alas he held himself together. Heizen raised an eyebrow however as Nakiya spoke, the shift of the conversation proving curious to him. It made perfect sense that his powers were of importance to her, seeing as the Saiyan attack was imminent. But as she continued on he found himself confused. Staying by her side… serving as her King? This was… unexpected, to say the least. He stayed quiet as he listened to her proposal, sipping his wine once again while watching and listening to her every word. A Puppet King to appease the Demon Lords, who would rule by her side. The second most powerful Demon in the the Universe. It wasn’t a bad offer. Heizen didn’t like being under the control of another though. He would be forever in the shadow of this woman, who had proven many times she would probably never treat him as an equal. Still. There was much to gain from this.. Merger. Delicious perks both small and large paving the way to a brighter tomorrow.
He continued to be silent as he mused this proposal over, thoughts spinning and turning in his head. He didn’t seem like something the Demon Lord could refuse. “This proposal of yours… it certainly does seem to make sense. Though I am curious- why do you need me? What of that Blue Haired Lover of yours known as the God King?” he asked with a smirk. Though it was a teasing question, it was nonetheless still entirely valid. In terms of power Caesar was much more appealing. He was the main one to bring even the mightiest of Saiyans to his knees while exterminating most of their race. The question was rather important, as he couldn’t help but question this.
It was a difficult thing to believe after all. Especially for a rather paranoid man such as Heizen.
"No offense, but most often time the males of our species cannot see beyond their physical strengths. While they try to be coy and manipulative I have found that they fall short in that department. Though I suppose the females of our race have just as many flaws in other areas. Regardless of that, a union would only strengthen the royal family in the eyes of those that follow me. If that means someone else must appear stronger than me, so be it. However, the true strength will always lie with me, and my soldiers, my creations, my children know that far too well." Nakiya stated as she finally put down the glass, picking up one of the provided forks and gently stabbing it into one of the morcels provided to her. She brought it up to her lips and chewed down on it, not at all worried that someone might have poisoned the food since, as of a few moments ago, no one knew she would be the one dining tonight and they all seemed to like Vulpeca well enough.
As she ate delicately, she would watch Heizen as it was obvious the gears in his mind were turning. She was impressed, as most men would have leap for her offer without a second thought, however Heizen seemed to be calculating the situation. There were it's pros and cons of course, and he wasn't wrong in assuming he would forever he serving under her even as the King of the Demon Realm. She would remain silent, simply enjoying her meal as she let him think things over, and it wasn't until he started to speak again that she would put the fork down. He agreed that it made sense, but he was quick to address the elephant in the room. Jarvis. The God King was hers in every sense of the word... He was her lover, her creation, her weakness. Truly the two were inseparable in a more emotional sense, however for Jarvis to be King of Makai? Unfortunately she knew that would only break the balance she had been working so hard to build.
"Ah yes, my Caesar. To marry him, to make him King of the Demon realm would be an affair of the heart, unfortunately he is not the kind of king that the Demon Realm needs. He had no true demonic blood in his veins, regardless of what he has become, at his core he is still a hybrid Saiyan. He's unlike any of the others to be sure, but our nobles would never follow a man like him, and in turn my Caesar would no doubt cut them at the knees for them to kneel. I treasure him, but his place isn't to rule at my side. Besides, he is already wed to another, I couldn't well destroy a marriage I helped maintain... so to speak." She explained calmly, speaking very openly about her relationship with Jarvis and how deeply she truly cared about him. That love though was constantly tested... with every moment Jarvis spent away it was as if he took another whore to his bed, and with every one it tried her patience with him. She was a possessive woman, and she didn't much like to share unless she herself depicted who else could have him... and right now, the only other person she truly accepted was Nori. She let a light sigh escape her lips as she took hold of her glass of wine once more, bringing it to her lips and in one gulp finished the rest of the glass before gently putting it down.
"I've told him before that one day I would need a King, someone other than him to rule beside me here. I warn you he wasn't very happy with the arrangement, but you can leave Caesar to me. If he chooses to get involved in your possible coronation, then simply leave him to me. He might have grown beyond my complete control, but he does care for me still which in itself, is a way to ensure he sees reason." She attempted to assure him as her mind wandered to Jarvis. There was no doubt in her mind that the blue haired man would be absolutely livid, as he had threatened to kill any king she took on before... but what right did he have to do that? He went and took every bimbo into his bed, expecting her to understand and say nothing. None of them were even needed for anything other than a good night! It was clear by the sudden scowl forming on the Demon Queen's face that Jarvis was a sore subject right now...

Heizen looked past the comment about gender - as rude as it was. Having seen Fenos, Mortos, and many of the other men among their species - he could agree that there was certainly some truth to what she said. “It’s very simple then. A show of force is required to put the Demon Lords in their place, if we do go through with this union. They’ll have to realize they don’t stand a chance in hell at succeeding my Kingship, and therefore your own rule,” he said thoughtfully. Heizen had already surpassed Mortos in good measure, but there was one Demon Lord that did concern him some. Azazel had been unaccounted for in the siege on the Devla Palace, and he was the third strongest Demon Lord in existence (save for Nakiya and her brother). He was the only Demon that Heizen was not fully sure he could best yet, nor would he want to find out. At least not until he learned to master his energy. Once he did that - then the two would fight to determine that Heizen was the strongest of the Demon Lords (save for Nakiya herself).
As the Queen finally delved into the food, so too did the Jackal Demon. This grand feast was made up of fruits that grew in Makai, as well as meats from the animal-esque creatures of this dimension. Truly it was a delicious feast, as were all of them in this mansion. Heizen didn’t stress out his workers much, giving them simple directions to follow while giving them free reign to do whatever in their free time. They were not warriors of his armies. Just simple help meant to enrich their lives. So long as they followed directions and did not disappoint, their lives would be merry and full of joy. The food helped to satiate his hunger as his mind had done its rounds of analyzing and assessments. All in all he had determined that the pros did indeed outweigh the cons. He’d be a fool to decline the invitation.
The tension in the room grew at the mention of the God King however. He noted the effect he seemed to have on her. To think that she would give up a soft spot so easily to him, though he had no intentions on acting on it. Caesar was far beyond his capabilities, and from what he heard… Heizen almost admired the man. To go against such a creature would be heartbreaking to say the least. Heizen listened intently to Nakiya as she explained why that wouldn’t work, and why Caesar just wasn’t fit to be King of Makai. It was true that Jarvis was an outsider, and technically part-Saiyan in every sense of the word. Still… to care so much of the Demon Lord’s opinions when Caesar could just as easily wipe them out with a flick of his wrist.
It was hard for him to believe that it would be such a problem. Alas - he would not argue with Nakiya over it. After all - the situation worked to his favor. This new position would give Heizen much to be desired. And things he would no doubt need for a long term period. And there was the personal satisfaction of rising to such a position after starting out so low, the personal middle finger to all of the oppressors who had held him down his whole life. “I suppose you have a point,” he would concede by that spirit.
The thing that caught his interest the most though was Caesar’s supposed marriage to another. Truly a most bizarre set of circumstances surrounded those two. It took all the willpower and restrain Heizen had not to smile or laugh at the information. So that was who that Super Saiyan was that had showed up to fight that Demonic Dragon above the skies of the palace. Heizen couldn’t help but feel his respect for Caesar growing. “Ah, well that’s interesting to be sure. You two have a most unique relationship. And do you make time to have fun for yourself?” he asked with a little bit of curiosity. Surely if he was spending his nights with another, then she too was going out to have some fun. They were Demons after all. Carnal Desire is partially what drove them through this tragic, insufferable life. He sipped his wine- gently finishing the contents of the cup- before gesturing the servant to come and fetch him and the Queen some more wine (which the lad did with great haste). This was an amusing discussion to him.
To think this arrangement would put him at odds with the one creature in this Universe who seemed to truly be admired by the Demon Lord. Truly a most unfortunate circumstance. Perhaps however there was a way to ease the tensions. Heizen would love to share the company of such a chaotic being, someone who could share in his amusement. “Very well. I’ll leave you two lovers to quarrel over me then…,” he joked with a teasing, amused tone in his voice as he sipped the glass that had refilled.
“I suppose we’re doing this then. Should I make like one of the mortals: fetch you some jewelry and bend the knee?” he asked, once again joking. Though he supposed if she actually desired such a thing he wouldn’t mind playing along. Such things did in fact tickle him after all.
Nakiya was so internally frustrated with Heizen for having brought up Jarvis, and for Jarvis' own lust driven evenings that she had been caught off guard by Heizen's next words. He asked if she had taken part in her own desires? Honestly, no she hadn't. Jarvis had been the first since her previous husband she had allowed to touch her... unlike most Demon's, and unlike the image she portrayed by walking about naked most of the time, the Demon Queen was actually quite conservative when it came to her own carnal desires. She had been abused, lied too and cheated only once by two men before Jarvis... and now she was beginning to feel as if he too was only using her... a sensation she absolutely detested and would clarify once and for all with him when they finally met once more... when he could leave his Kingdom in hell long enough to come to her.
"The fulfillment of my own desires are my own business. At least, those of the past. Going forward, it seems I will have you to entertain me~ After-all, what's a royal family without a few heirs? Hm?" She countered with a topic of conversation that would hopefully catch the Demon as off guard as he had caught her. Though when Heizen offered to give her jewelry and bend the knee she only laughed! Honestly what more could Heizen offer her but his body and image? Jewelry she had in droves, gold and jewels were of no interest to her... though bending the knee? Well he would be doing that soon enough wouldn't he.
"I think our verbal agreement will suffice, though if I were any other girl I would say it lacked in romance. Ah well~ What's a girl to do? Ah but do not worry, you'll have to bend the knee at our ceremony, so conserve yourself for now, my King~" She said with just a hint of lust in her voice as she lifted herself from her chair finally, lifting her hand to stop the boy from refilling her glass of wine. The same light from the training room engulfed her and Nakiya's form began to change shape, masked by the light that surrounded her. She would step around the table and, as soon as the light vanished, a dragon's head would become visible in front of Heizen, pressing her own snout against his for a brief moment. While she hadn't taken on her full size, the sight of a small Dragon in the dining quarters would no doubt horrify the other Demons.

Heizen thought Nakiya was an amusing subject. How could the leader of the Demons not partake in the same pleasures as the rest of her people? Without joy, pleasure, enjoyment- their lives were a bitter existence. It was almost sad. To be so focused on her mission, on her ambitions, that she missed out on life itself up until now. Heizen knew hatred, anger, vengeance. And he knew them quite well. He knew ambitions, dreams, and desires. But through it all he found ways to experience joy, to have fun in this cursed life they led. Without it his madness would be all the more apparent, his disposition even more negative than what he currently portrayed. Perhaps that was her problem. The source of all her more annoying qualities. A lack of fun. It could turn even the strongest of wills into that of the most bitter tastes.
He was quite a bit unawares however at her response, as the implication she made was most interesting. He couldn’t help but let out a small laugh in response, finding it shocking. “I like the sound of that…,” he would respond with a soft, more flirty chuckle as his red eyes gazed into the Queen’s with a small hint of desire beneath the surface.
With that however the moment had passed for now. They continued their meal for now and laughed at the Jackal Demon’s rather simple jest. What could a lowly Lord like him offer the Demon Queen that could possibly serve any worth? Truthfully there was not much. Mortos was not a man whose riches were that of jewels or anything specifically for the gaze of one’s eye. His most valuable possessions had been many battle oriented artifacts scattered from the ages. Axes of great heroes, swords from the most ancient of Kings. Things he was sure Nakiya would not care for in the slightest. He supposed that was the problem of marriages with high born ladies. There was nothing that you could offer them that they would truly appreciate. If he were a man with romantic notions then perhaps this would bother him.
But this was purely political, and as such it did not. Though the longer the two talked.. The more Heizen was beginning to think maybe they would at least become friends outside of the public eye. “Well to be fair - it is hard to please one who has all they could need,” he said teasing. However at the remark about his knee at their future wedding, he couldn’t help but smirk. “That’s not the only thing that’s going to be bending that day, my Queen~,” he would retort, once again with that flirty tone. It was possible their previous training had charged up the Demon somewhat as combat seemed to do. He had excess energy and desire to burn. It made him less cautious about what he said around her.
It seemed that she too was feeling the effects of their day coursing through her as she made her way toward him with longing in her eyes. His eyes watched curiously as she began to transform in front of him - showing the Jackal Demon her “true” form in a sense. As she might have thought - the grunts in the room grew terrified, silently standing in place as this unfolded in their Dining hall. Heizen was the only one who remained unaffected by the form. He didn’t mind gazing at it, or any form she would take. Their snouts pressed together as the two Demons engaged in a rather heated kiss. Lifting her up with his arms - he would press her back against the empty part of the spacious table where things would unfold down their due course.
Both of them could use a little fun after all…
