Green With Envy (Satsu)

There were so many things on her mind she wished to discuss.

Each second that passed, waiting for an answer, only made it more opportune for glimpses of her mind to show up. The nearly empty flask in her hand, didn't fail to surface back in her mind since she had last drank it, only half an hour before, which felt more like forever from her instincts.

Addiction to something like blood, wasn't anything she had an issue with, since she had first become a Countess, her body having realized it would never be fully content. For such an issue to feel like it was persisting now as a Matriarch, and so close to becoming a Antediluvian, meant things were going wrong.

The lack of control she was feeling made her feel so much more inexperienced, yet she could tell the end of it all was in her reach. There just needed to be some kind of push to get her there. As one of the two soldiers from Namek sent here, but also one she had an unspoken conflict with, the push she was looking for could easily come from the red-headed Saiyan. They were already better acquainted just as well, making what she wanted much easier.

It felt like such a godsend, finally hearing a response as the door opened, and the face of the person she was expecting. Need implied so little of what she had wanted, though at the same time, wasn't incorrect. She had noticed of course, just how carefully the Saiyan had chosen to open the door.

While brief, she had been reminded of the perversions she was forced to witness and feel, causing her to turn away from the girl, and face the hall which would lead towards the entrance. There was a feeling of weightlessness in the pit of her stomach, her face feeling hot, although she was aware being undead made that only true from her own perspective. It was ridiculous to be shaken up from something so small, yet the presence of it all felt so real to her.

"I wanted to talk about certain things. Matters of the heart that have left me unable to move on to where things should be."

The more she thought about it, listening to her concerns out loud, as glimpses of what she tried to bury flashing through her mind, the more she knew she couldn't ask the same for the others around here. Her bio-android was too much of a dependent child to really understand the kind of things she was going through. More than likely, she would have ended up punishing her own creation from impatience, and delaying what should have been a smooth path to power.

Her two Androids with the likeness of those she knew, were still too artificial in some responses, and needed to develop more. The hall monitor and their mutual friend often made too much light of things, while the Majin who had came to her to seek refuge, was as docile and naive as many of those in East City. The two primarily cooking or cleaning the food, could hardly be away from each other, while the Kold Demon and Supidoan had clouded minds.

Even her cousin, or any of the other Vampires, would have failed to give her what she was looking for. It was more than just a conversation. One of the things the red-head had, that the others just lacked, was actually having a place within the Alliance serving to be one of the issues dwelling on her mind.

It might have been true her mate had that role just as well, although what memories she had on Namek, before deciding not to step onto the planet excluding specific emergencies, the last thing she had wanted was a walk with another male. Not when her troubles had stemmed from one in the first place.

"It's nothing I can ask of anyone else here. The specifics of it alone, perturbs me in a way that I feel ill, and requires the touch of someone like yourself, who is unaffiliated with my own forces. Knowing you also tend to wander out more, might I ask if we take a short walk outside away from here?"

Their height were similar, and would likely remain as such if her temper could be helped, knowing the transformation of hers, so often found itself to be unnecessary these days. The influence upon her from being a Matriarch alone, was enough to have the kind of impact on her life that felt to be a punishment.

It was debatable whether she deserved it or not.

Phrasing.

It might not have been the most appropriate to describe her situation, yet there was truth to it. Her mind was unable to move on, as if she was still under his influence, rather than on the verge of ascension. It disturbed her, not being right enough to move onto other matters. To lose control.

For her to be so influenced that a few mere thoughts of what the Saiyan might have been doing, or wish to get up to, was no good at all. That baffled look, was unsurprising, and more of a reminder on just how lost she was feeling right now. She was so close to just escaping from it all, it was just unfair to be stalled.

The red-head finished her exchange with her partner, closing the door shut, before following after her, voicing the lack of knowledge she believed she had on this matter. But this was under the assumption she was even dealing with a mortal, and not someone who was much more. She’d feel insulted if she could just recall the emotions, but there was just nothing there to grasp on. Only more glimpses into her mind of her concerns.

”It’s not exactly what you might think. I’m not one to be charmed by anyone who think themselves to be suitors. This is more of an obstacle to my becoming an Antediluvian.”

There were so many different opinions on how the mansion was. She had those around who would consider the several hallways there were, to be something which made it to be much larger than it truly was. Others simply noted it to be homely. No matter the size of the interior however, the importance lied in comfort, which could only be achieved through the efforts of those residing here. Passing through, she saw Mayu, the pig-tailed red-head, cleaning.

The task wasn’t merely the girl’s alone, though more often than not, she would do so after having attend things in the kitchen. There was a bit of a glance walking by, that shy smile not being out of the ordinary, and the only acknowledgment of a greeting came in the form of a wave, while holding a spritz bottle. Unsurprisingly as they made their way to the front doors, her Bio-Android had stood in the corner, watching with its natural glowing red eyes, as if some statue.

There was the slightest of twitches, easily missable, but her creation had remained unmoving. Even that hadn’t been an unusual sight around here, the cause of which was the bio’s own concern for her. It left a tinge of pain in where her heart should have beated, but that had easily gone away, as they made their way outside of the mansion. The grip she had on her blood flask became more noticeable, but many things were, not being where her body wished.

It was blurry, as if she was moving fast, though she knew it was merely her senses dulling away what she didn’t consider important. For the moment, they had a bit away from the mansion, outside to where the colosseum was, the flask in her hand being lightly shook around, as she stared at the Saiyan.

”The power of an Antediluvian. If the more experienced of my kin are to be believed, would be on the scale of your people’s Super Saiyan 3. Though, I’m sure you’ve noticed my forms are less destructive. Even so, according to legends of my kin, it’s impressive enough for me to be viewed as a goddess.”

It might have been some time since she had visited those beneath her hierarchy personally, but encountering the leader from her past within the last few weeks, was enough affirmation to what she could simply find out through folklore about her kind, which held enough truth to have credit towards.

The reach of gaining such a power, continuing to think of it now, brought a flood of warmth in her heart, reminiscent of what it felt like to access her forms. Though the talk of godhood, she wished to see any expression the red-head might have had, some kind of familiarity without an outright answer.

The flask she held in her hand, she continued to swish, managed to form a smile, as the sound had hit her ears, and the image of its contents filling her mind, rather than the troubles she had. A moment that was always going to be fleeting, so long as she couldn’t get a grasp on her own behavior.

”Whether or not you can guess who I’m on the verge of alluding to, I’d like to carry on and mention, just what such a role would mean for me down the line. The kind of paths and opportunities it can open up.”

She started to walk again, the slightest of a nudge given to the Saiyan, as the side of her hand brushed against the girl as a gesture to follow along. There was a certain and unintentional semblance coursing through her, of those perversions she was forced to endure, as she did, but it slipped away quickly.

Something meant to be playful, getting such a reaction from her. Just how much did he leave behind on her, when he allowed the gift of knowledge? It was an answer she didn’t truly wish to hear, as she had her mind focus back on the matter at hand. Her role as an Antediluvian would change things for sure.

No longer would she be concerned for humanity, though she would continue to uphold all of the business she had already created for herself nonetheless. There was also the need for a planet she’d be able to put to fruition with that kind of power, and it was only tickling some nerves that stopped it.

”As one of the Matriarchs of my kind, I desire the other Vampires to be protected, beyond them targeting themselves, as traditional of my kin to cull those who would be a vulnerability. Perhaps even a sickness, as they’ve shown from the time given to them, they are unable to adapt and learn. Like a child without a proper cognitive function, or ability to think for themselves, as you might have seen from Amalga.”

The Bio-Android who had been merely standing in the doorway, was always going on about being concerned for her. As if she really needed the protection. Too much dependency was a bane to the hierarchy, and fixing it meant ending their lives before it could spread. Though there was also pleasure to it.

”To become an Antediluvian and reach what they would consider to be godhood, means I’ll carry the power to bring forth my other desires. You’ve heard by now from the others how badly I wish the earth dragonballs weren’t inert, haven’t you?”

It was one of the things they were supposed to have brought to conversation at one point, beyond revealing how much of a business person she truly was, with the kind of documents she had filed away. Ayumi, the brunette who considered herself a hall monitor, would have been the most likely to bring it up.

”I have plans to procure a planet for my kin, and bring them out of hiding, which task would be made easier, through the magic of such artifacts. Such a move would require special accommodations, like the existence of an endless river of blood, that’ll keep them from simply feeding on animals for what we need.

However, I doubt this planet will ever find a Namekian who could bring the artifacts back to life anytime soon, which brings me to the first of my troubles. Toru had said before leaving Namek, that it was possible to purchase a planet. How much truth did his words hold, as it would be simple to just conquer a planet just as well.”

Suddenly stopping their walk through the forest of where the mansion had lied, she had cupped the girl’s face for a brief moment, leaving a touch of coldness from what warmth was left, from her lack of blood drinking. She wasn’t going to take a sip from her flask, just yet. It did too much to her.

”Tell me, do you still believe in the idea my desires, beyond business, is anything more than the maternal instincts I’m forced to possess by my transformations?”

There was no right or wrong answer.

Becoming an Antediluvian was just inevitable.

Choosing not to continue on the path of power, would be possibly dying by the hands of someone even greater, or being cast aside when it comes importance. She had come too far to really just forget about the burdens she chose to take, and even if she tried, her body would have kept her unsettled.

No, avoiding what was so close, wasn't her intentions. She was willing to accept the role that came with being revered as a god by her people, but it was her encounter with that man, acting as some kind of mental block, keeping her from achieving what she wished. She couldn't yet find herself at peace.

With the kind of knowledge he had shared with her, that much was unsurprising. Anyone else in her position would have likely just chosen to forget or suppress it all, instead of writing off keywords to recall it, before the information had disappeared in its entirety. It was a maddening thing to keep to herself, and unsure of just where to go with it, or if what she had in mind was even sensible to pursue. Though it'll become clear to her soon enough.

For the most part, the red-head she had chosen to accompany her for this discussion, had been mostly silent, other than the most subtle of actions. But that was perhaps the thing she needed the most right now, differing in just being alone herself, through the kind of neutrality the Saiyan possessed.

"And yet, I still can't imagine my motives not being questioned by others of similar power."

The girl's remark had came off in that usual tone of hers, though the words themselves, had seemed to mean well enough. It was difficult sometimes, carrying out and saying the things she did, while wondering if anyone else could see the purpose behind it. Like how she was falsely accused on Namek, about actually laying a hand on that lesser male Saiyan, when all she was doing was giving a warning, and wishing to have an audience for the bout she had wanted.

Admittedly, the approach to it could have gone smoother, but it was a difficult time, knowing the earth was attacked while she had been on Namek. How she could have lost the allies she considered to be her assets, and forced to go recruit people and train them to learn her ways. But this was before gaining enough of that man's knowledge. Things were different now, and her plans wouldn't be so easily delayed or fragile, by something out of her control.

The biggest issue with what happened on Namek in the first place, was a Saiyan butting his nose in where it didn't belong, then trying to immediately leave because of the surrounding power. It was like deciding to stand between two threats fighting, and then flying off. What was the purpose of doing so?

That was the thing that annoyed her then, which was a good prelude if anything, to where she was leading towards. The red-head's suggestion was a simple one, but nothing she hadn't already considered. The biggest issue was her own perceived and expected mistrust of the kind of power she held for herself. Not to mention the certain blonde swordsman, who she knew wouldn't have at all approved of the idea. Besides, it wasn't the only wish she had in mind anyway.

"I've considered it before, but mistrust seems all too common, specifically, from the swordsman Cambia. She might be related to Koma, but that doesn't stop out mutual dislike of each other. Even the idea I carry the will and hopes of those within the mansion, couldn't stop her from fearing this voice."

Though she didn't know about the once a year limit, it made sense enough that something which could grant power, needed time to charge it. Once again, an opportunity was brought up, allowing her to discuss the blonde's grief imposing onto her. A chance she hadn't received since leaving Namek with these two.

It came rather easily, speaking in her best regal, yet playful voice, near the end of the explanation. The tone was so reminiscent of those who had a habit of saying 'my my', or hold the kind of spirit that a succubus would have held when talking. Truly a place she had struck a clear nerve, with the girl.

"I assume it must remind her of someone she truly hates, if her attitude is to be a reflection."

She only guess it had to do something with family. Childhood was usually what had people ending up troubled. Toru had kept on trying to assure the blonde would change, but that was expecting for a Saiyan to understand the comprehension they could only gain from being earth-related hybrids. And even then, it wasn't something that was really a guarantee, if that lesser Saiyan male was to be any indication. He clearly hadn't been associated with the Alliance.

The idea of reviving their own people, wasn't anything surprising. It was the most typical route when it came to wishes, and to try and stop such a thing, would only mean the Saiyans were likely to stay on Namek indefinitely. The only consequence she saw from it, was how visited the planet had become.

What bit of laughter had came from the red-head, made it clear just how different their perspectives might have been, for the conversation going on at hand. Nothing she said, even with her explanation of what the blonde swordsman seemed to fear, had been meant with a lighter tone than was necessary.

Her mind felt nothing but troubled, and expression mildly tired than anything else. As if she was carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders, and the Saiyan was somehow her salvation. Uncapping the flask she had been carrying, and deciding to stop at the bark of a tree, it was a good a time as any to down the contents. May another chance to get such an enriching taste of blood, wouldn't be something merely given to her as any gift meant to charm her.

The flask was left empty, and she tossed it to the side, shooting it into nonexistent pieces after, her back pressed against the bark when she was done. What was left of her troubles had came from that flask, and she could feel the temptation of turning away from her brown eyes, for crimson red ones.

"That flask is part of what started my troubles, the owner of its blood possibly leaving me exhausted in ways I didn't wish, that no one else ever did."

Though the feeling was pushed back, while she went and mustered an explanation of what she had done. The pace of her breathing started to quicken from thinking about it, looking back at the red-head, and what role she also was meant to have carried in all of this, beyond just their discussion now.

"It should be evident now just how often I really have to use the full extent of my power, and how my transformations have become more like subtle flares requiring assistance. Do you recall how some time ago, this had came into play?"

She hadn't bothered even exploring what had went on while she was 'stuck' in that village of illusions, when she had gotten away and back towards the mansion. Her interest had been fully on jotting down keywords of what she could remember. Even so, it had been the red-head or her mate's obligation to fill in the kind of role Maiz had usually carried out, only interfering when she had access the power of a Matriarch. Although that had never came.

The highest she had gotten had been the powers of a Countess, but the process of doing so, even now, was something she felt didn't sit right with her. As if the power didn't truly belong to her, like it was supposed to have felt. Becoming an Antediluvian, was supposed to alleviate that. She was sure of it. Whatever hold was on her, the blood magic within her body would rid of it. She would be able to find the peace of mind that she had lost.

"The incident in the first place, began upon my decision of choosing to follow a source of power, and being led to a village with attacking apparitions, meant to guilt those who enter with false delusions. Nothing which had been difficult to get through, and I winded up chancing upon both a blonde near my age, along with a certain blue-haired child. He was of course, more than he seemed to be, though I hadn't imagine on the level I had seen."

The more she had led her way into talking about what happened, the more she found herself pushing away from the bark of the tree, and started gesturing. Her breathing had slowed some, becoming more deep than anything. They still weren't memories she would say were pleasant, and more bloody than anything.

"His intellect was confident, though not in a way that it completely dismissed what was essential, even if he did so often mumble of his own superiority. His power just as well, exceeded even my best. I had hoped to learn more about the blonde, but she had been scared off, and we were left alone. Then the decision had came, that winded up leaving me trouble in the end, and has me questioning if it was something to see as regrettable."

Knowledge like what that man had shown, didn't come without consequence. She could have easily died if not for her confidence she would have been able to take a hit. Though what she had seen had proven it wouldn't have likely gone well if he had fought her, and she'd still feel lingering soreness, even if she had used a medical tank to heal herself. That was the kind of power that man had, which she was just so close to obtaining for herself.

"The boy turned out to be this Caesar your Alliance seemed to fear so much for, and I had allowed him to tell me something he had swore your Overseer had kept hidden. Betrayal on some level would have hardly been surprising, as it was truly just nature that allows such decisions, but I got much more than I had asked for. He brought us to a reality marble, a world that had practically been his mind, where he shared his memories with me.

I was forced to feel empathy, anger, and many other things I had learned to move past on myself, as I had no option but to watch his life play out. What was meant to be me breaking down and losing myself, I instead worked on recalling what I could of my own hardships, matching it against his. They were all fleeting and nothing more than glimpses under his control, but it had more or less succeeded, seeing as how I'm still feeling troubled all of it now.

The memories that were meant to invoke empathy, came off more as an annoyance, and my body was left feeling like I wasn't in control, hot and explored in ways I would have never allowed. Out of everything I had learned and seen in that head of his, the perversions he had experience with, I feel the most disgust for. How any of the women I've seen, could have fallen for him, and decided to bear his children, I still can't grasp. Unwilling to.

In the end, he departed saying he desired me, saying I could pray and he would show, leaving me feeling weak and without control over my own transformations. It's continued to persist ever since, as if he has some kind of lingering presence, that I believe can be purged once I become an Antediluvian. He tried so hard to charm me, and I knew from the connection he had bestowed he could have just forced it."

The way the memories had all came forth, and her own feelings on the matter back then, along with after she had been able to process it all, there was no hiding it in her tone or gestures. She had only moved closer to the red-head just as well, her face feeling hot as she tried to take the girl's own hand in hers. If there was one thing that man had left with her beyond knowledge, it would have been a certain carnal desire that differed upon feeding on blood.

A mindset, that upon looking at the Saiyan, she came to realize just what could have easily have happened, if she had chosen to end the girl's life. The consequence that come from it would have been the rage of her mate, but what was the power of a Saiyan, to someone so close to reaching godhood?

She could tell her breathing had quickened again, though she wasn't even done speaking yet either. She was close, but there was a little bit more on her mind, before she could feel some kind of satisfaction. What was already going on, was more than she had ever felt in the last couple of weeks.

"But that still remains to be the least of my troubles. The kind of things he shown me, as much as I had disliked being forced to empathized, did have its merits in what I've learned. I saw the concept of fusion, learned the existence of Kais and how they seemed to have the opposite relationship to Anubians. I know that there's an afterlife, and that death is something that could be cheated. How it was practically just a planet, which didn't simply allow endlessly materializing one's own desires, and thus more of a second life, rather than something that's eternal comfort and rest.

Ir progresses certain plans I have, knowing death doesn't truly hold consequences, and the kind of confidence the others could possess with this knowledge. Nothing that would be easy to cheat, and I imagine Toru or your Overseer, would wind up marking it off as lives not being something to take lightly. I truly don't blame anyone with such an opinion, but with someone who normally carries the kind of ambition that I possess, it's disheartening to learn what lies in the afterlife, isn't what I had envisioned. So I desire pursuing what I'm already in the progress of, before even considering what happens in Hell to me."

She had practically been done explaining what she had wished, and while the things she felt from doing so was astounding, there still remained to be the girl's opinion on it all. If the red-head managed to keep from being like certain others, then she could find comfort in having the girl's agreement.

"The thing I wish to ask of you most, is your blessing. That even knowing while I see death differently, the knowledge of it, is more something I wish to turn into empowerment than grief."

The Saiyan wouldn't learn how green she truly was with envy, she didn't have to deal with these kind of conclusions.

People had their own vices.

Views of which would make it rather difficult to allow others into plans of their own design. This whole revival that Koma had wanted for the rest of the Saiyans, was only going to just be one of many wishes he probably had plans to make, even if the cause on bringing his people back, would already be made.

What other wishes he might have wanted, were part of the reason why she had kept the Saiyan and Majin on that planet. If he wanted to make even more and expect to keep being allowed such greed every year until he got what he wanted, then she was more than thankful she didn't play for just one side.

It was that kind of mindset she detested, and wished she could do something about, but had to rely on other people for, to avoid being lumped into some stupid alignment. Those things already had their own biases to what people already thought, and she refused to be in any part of that.

What the red-head said, did have some points, knowing the Overseer was going to be dependent on the Guru starting the ritual. It was the main reason she disliked the planet's artifacts, compared to the ones she knew existed here on earth, but were still unusable, from the numerous times she had checked.

But there were factors here that the girl just wasn't seeing, and it made her breathing paced, going over the stuff in her head. Thinking back to Cambia first, specifically, there was that kid of hers that felt like had been a toddler for years, according to the tinges of recognition with toying at the idea.

It felt right enough for it to likely be true, and not something she had imagined up, though she couldn't picture the face that easily. Only knew just enough from inferring, and her own opinions on the swordsman, that even the hybrid was allowed to interfere with things, if she had really wanted to.

Koma was easier to still doubt wouldn't have any interference, knowing the gap in their power. Even if she had bit him to try catching up, it still wouldn't be enough. She would have to taste the blood of multiple beings for that, but there was no one of real interest, and it was easier to do sparingly anyway.

So far, she had used it as an insult, and to claim victory when getting someone to concede to her. It was more fitting to continue that, than to keep on using it on just about anybody. It wasn't for any common man, just like how she didn't go around siring people, and turning them into her own kin.

"You're forgetting that when it comes to wishes, especially from a man who had lost his people, there are more wishes to be had. Can the Guru really keep those two from challenging for the artifacts? Cambia's the type to gather them for her kid to play with, and revival surely can't be the only thing the Overseer would want. I at least use contracts to record what I will or won't do, but it can still be accused by others to just be paper."

Still, the more they talked about it, and the possibility that what she was theorizing was accurate, the more she wondered if the girl was really right about this. Gaining immunity with the Guru's blessing would make the blonde eat her own words for even trying. The fact that she was a mother and still going around tossing a sword instead of settling down, goes to show the kind of culture differences there was. It was just distasteful in her eyes.

"I suppose I'll consider it, so long as you're aware I'll be holding you accountable for any hardships for doing so. And I still have doubts he hasn't already spoken with the Guru about making further wishes when the artifacts are active again."

The amount of power that had came forth and centered within the red-head's eyes, was unsurprising, knowing the topic at hand. So many people were shaken by that man, but beyond his perversions, the act of destroying cities and the like were pretty typical. Though she supposed knowing people he had touched, was more impacting than hearing about those he had destroyed and were in his way. Cambia wasn't really the best judge of character to use at all to agree with, knowing the blonde dragged herself into situations she wasn't strong enough to even face. Was nothing good for than being another dead pile in his path.

"She's far from being the best judge of character. The girl, even back when we were on Namek, drags herself into situations she doesn't have the power to back up, like some kind of divine intervention. And doing so willingly enough to leave her kid without a mother if she had ever died. If you want to talk about someone who suffered, it would be what he did to the Elemi, Flare."

Comparing her regular brown eyes, to the girl's newly shaded ones, there was a rather stark difference that came with such expressions. Even so her tone remained the same, not really needing the physique her other forms gave her, or crimson red eyes, to really emphasize her point that the swordsman wasn't a good judge of character. If she were to suffer by Jarvis, or really, any threat at all, it would be her own doing for butting into things she shouldn't.

No one should even be surprised if the girl had died because of it either. She clearly didn't know when to run, considering she was still fighting, even though she had a kid to raise. Death was something that might not have been temporary, and could be cheated, who knows how long that actually took.

If the people running the afterlife also had any brains at all, each death would only make it more and more difficult for the person to come back. But that was really the way things should be. Life wasn't something just inconsequential that could be played with. People who died lost time, which was already hard enough as is, to even find. She could also understand these grievances, knowing she had practically been made to do what he did, but there was still bias.

"And of course I get it. He's made masses of girls into slaves and his whores, which the blonde accuses me of being the next one to do. That it was her duty, despite her lack of power, to stop anyone who reminded her of that man. I've done a lot of things to avoid being culled as a fledgling, and another dead body, but I assure you, my chastity is intact. I also feel as if my standards are too specific to even rid of it the 'right' way."

For the swordsman to even believe that her mind was dark enough to promote something like slavery, was just sickening. The closest was making the Kold Demon a Prisoner of War, but that was still nothing but one of her phases, and even back then, the alien was practically just someone living in the mansion for losing a battle. The Saiyan's sister, that man wasn't interested in names enough, for it to be too uncertain to know just which girl that really was.

But the fact of the matter still was, people got caught up into things they shouldn't when attacks happened. And it was going to keep on persisting just as well, so long as there was evil in the world, as there was supposed to be. But one loss of a life, didn't rule out the importance of another one.

"I can send a ship back to Namek and check up on the other two, when some affairs pass. Though the decision's better left to you and Yasai, knowing the planet will likely be settling against whatever aftermath came from having two separate factions."

It was the only real comfort, if it could really be seen as one, that she was even able to give about the girl's sister. Something she found appropriate, yet she still struggled to muster a tone that wasn't leisure. The idea of death itself, and the importance of caring for life, was an easy one to answer.

The world would move on without her for a certain amount of time too hazy for her to make sense of, only that it would be long enough for things to change while she was gone. Her plans would still move forward without her, what she built still stand around just as well, as it wasn’t the end of things.

Listing all of this to the red-head though, it certainly felt as if was. That what she was saying was rather close into being of fruition, even though she desired, had obstacles in place that would stop her. Because even with the girl’s belief that it wouldn’t amount to that, she couldn’t see otherwise.
