Liari smiled widely as the boy quickly recovered from his brutal battering, complimenting her on her attack. His words fed her ego, making it swell with pride... Nothing was better than an opponent recognizing your strength for what it was: truly great. Especially when your opponent was so much stronger than you were... The little blue majin slammed her fist into her palm as the boy remarked how it was HIS turn to show her something, confident in her ability to take whatever was thrown at her.
"Come at me!" She declared, clenching her fingers into fists and raising her arms in front of her defensively. She watched as the child's energy SWELLED where he stood, his golden aura spiking up around him so much it practically emulated his hair with how much it was raised. She had to be honest... she took a step back in shock... but her smile never left her lips. She expected the sayain to throw his fist at her, an attempt to pierce her guard and strike right through her with all that glorious energy... but he struck the ground instead...? The majin's expression showed nothing but confusion as the boy's fist sunk into the rock down by his feet as his charge came to a sudden halt.
. . .
"Uh..." She muttered, looking around for something to have happened. Maybe an energy blast was coming at her from a strange angle or there was some kind of areal attack coming her way...? Nothing. "What did you-" Suddenly energy SPIKED up all around the majin, pillars of it ripping out of the ground in a tight vicinity around her being her only warning of an oncoming attack. Liari's jaw dropped as the earth beneath her gave way to reveal a massive blast of energy rushing up to consume her.
"-DOOOOOOOO...-!" She cried as she crossed her arms over her face in an effort to protect herself as the energy ripped and tore at her soft gummy body before being complete enveloped, hiding her from sight...
Once all the excess energy and dust had settled, what floated there just above a massive pit-in-the-planet was a very angry, very damaged majin... The entire upper half of Liari's suit had been ripped off, revealing her chest, as if she cared. At least half of her tentacles were seared off at the base of her head and, in fact, her left eye seemed completely blasted out. Her right arm was gone at the elbow and both her legs were seared off at her pelvis, all of which Liari's reaction was only to snarl angrily and reveal her pointed devilish teeth.
There was no gore, however... No blood. At each place where she'd taken damage only left a writhing blue gum-like substance, seeming to sway in time with her breaths.
"Rrrrrrgh!" She growled, the pain washing away any good feelings she was having up to this point. She glared at her opponent with her one functioning eye, before suddenly, she smiled. The little blue majin floated over to the nearest mass of solid ground, clutching at her destroyed arm with her functional one.
"Heh..." She grinned before suddenly a NEW limb seemed to sprout out of the wounded stump, glove and all. Followed by that, her legs regrew, then the tentacles on her head, then the burn and sear marks that dotted her majin flesh. Liari lowered herself to the ground sightly, holding her hands up by her cheeks as she stuck her tongue out mockingly at the sayian.
"Bleeeh!" She joked before her eye reforming finally. There, before Rensu stood a fully regenerated Majin Liari, ready for battle once more. "Did I scare you?"
If Rensu wasnt so intent on having his fun, he would have already laughed at Liari's questioning. The silence between his strike and the initial explosion was one that he found to be quite humorous. It always threw targets off, and off their game was what he needed. Especially for a foe like her. Satisfaction drew over the youth as Liari's next word was drawn out and forced to he elongated. His Seismo blasting her to more than a few chunks and away from him. It was oddly gory but also not..strangely enough. She was clearly missing a few limbs and tentacles and clothes but yet she wasn't overtly destructed and bloody. If at all, really. The sheer sight did send a chill down the boy's back and her regeneration didn't help too much. But now he knew she was gonna be a tougher fight than he expected.
"No way. Not even a little." Ren responded. Posing himself back to his stance and awaiting the next move. "I can keep goin'. Next round starts now, first attack can be on you," He stated quite loudly.Stam: 3/3 Liari
Liari frowned, disappointed that her creepy gummy regeneration didn't effect the kid at all, and, in fact, he seemed rather intrigued by it. The way his green eyes looked her over with interest made her smile... Well NOW he was going to get all her power... Lets see how he handles THAT! He's taken one of her weaker attacks and gotten back up no problem. Now the only rational course of action was to go all out. Time to stop playing around!
"You deserve this." Liari remarked with a smile. "My strongest attack." Her jaw dropped low, a deep pink energy ball forming in the back of her throat. Her ki flared up all around her in a blazing inferno of power, ripping up rocks and dirt with each surge of energy. Her eyes glowed so bright under the flare of her aura they seemed to consume her sockets entirely, two shining sanguine lights within a shroud of obscuring pink. Suddenly, however, the aura began to collapse in on itself, sucking in at a single point. In a matter of seconds, it was revealed at which location, the Majin being revealed again as her aura flew into her mouth... Right inside the majin's jaws.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
The blast surged out in MASSIVE tidal wave of energy that consumed all within Liari's sight, searing it to a black, ugly crisp. all of the Majin's power was poured into this blast, and it would surely destroy any lesser foe that it surged toward... Like that little namekian Rensu and been protecting. More likely than not, if he couldn't stop this attack, Liari's blast would rip the poor creature to shreds, collateral damaged because the sayain wasn't strong enough.
The wave would crash down upon the sayain like the harbinger of the the end... Pinnacle Abysmal.
The teen wondered what she had in her repertoire next. What could she throw at him this time, what would throw him off...well. He'd get his answer in due time, right? "Eh?" Rensu's eyes narrowed a great sum. Examining Liari and everything on her. What energy she exuded. What energy she was building up?! "Huh? What do I deserve.." The youth whispered quietly before quickly opening his eyes. Noticing how she was becoming embued by pure energy and light. Her body becoming, well, a weapon. And in a flash: Her attack was launched forth. Rensu given but a mere second to react and respond. Lurching forward and then back, Rensu's body instinctively powered itself up to it's maximum.PL increases dramatically up to it's weighted maximum of 641,333!Without a word, Rensu's hands clasped together by his side. Energy swiftly gathering into an electric orb of violet, white and lavender all in one before culminating into a show of power. His hands thrust forth and his attack fired without a doubt. "Galick! Blazer!" The teen cried out, acting out of will and heart. He'd keep this planet safe and the Majin he was fighting just turned this friendly bout into a personal test! [OT-3] Galick Blazer fired off for maximum PL! Stam: 0/3
Liari couldn't see much through her own blast, for the first couple seconds believing she was actually going to HIT this guy with this. She felt powerful, strong, that she would win this fight!... How wrong she actually was. Liari's eyes widened as the glow of the kid's blast began to shine through her own, ripping through her Ki like some kind of rabid beast. The Blast not only pierced hers, causing it to split into two seperate waves that ripped the ground around the child to pieces, but his Galick Blazer completely overtook her entire upper half, burning her to nothing right above her thighs.
Once all the blasting and and dust had cleared, all that remained were the Majin's pair of legs standing shakily before collapsing back on the blue patch of grass that remained untouched by Rensu's savagery. For at least several minutes, Liari's body remained still, unmoving... cold... She had completely lost consciousness after that blast. Just the shock and pain it had inflicted upon her in that moment was simply too much for the little majin to handle all at once. If she was given enough time to recouperate however, Liari's lower body would begin to twitch and spasm, a new upper form starting to regrow itself slowly from the burned patch left behind....
Liari gasped as soon as her head was fully reconstructed, her new chest rising up and down heavily as she laid sprawled out in the dirt, completely defeated.
"B-but... Th...that was my strongest blast..." She protested, her silver eyes opening as she raised her head to spot her opponent... She hated being beaten so HANDILY like that but... at least she got some good hits in on this POWERHOUSE of a guy... Heh.... that made her happy... Her lips curled upwards into a conflicted smile as she let her skull drop back against the soft, namekian dirt, just trying to retrieve her energy... She didn't even think she could stand in this state...
"G-good fight......."
Taking 225,032 in damage from the clash Xb KNOCKOUT 1/3 stamina
The blast escaping Rensu's hands had surged and surged. Raging on and with great violence against Liari's own. No way her move would be permitted to carry forth. Such a disastrous attack had no place being used and especially so reckless! She could've hurt someone! And that meant someone besides him, of course. The youth huffed and puffed as his beam died down and the clash fell apart. Smoke rising and beginning to clear little by little. A destroyed Liari revealed as nothing but her mere legs remained. What a sight, indeed. This was, what: her second dismemberment? Jeesh. The teen panted and relaxed.
"Phew," Rensu sighed, dropping to his feet and venturing over to Liari. The boy exhausted and dropping to his rear, sitting back and drained from the combat. "Jeez..agreed." He commented, chuckling a little.
Liari groaned, forcing herself up into a sitting position and using her arms to support herself as Rensu came over to sit beside her, the little blue majin flashing him a soft smile. That was probably the most fun she's had on this planet since she'd gotten here despite the fact it ended in her loss. The boy was a kind one, at least... He didn't mock her after he won or remark about how HUGE their power difference was, just agreeing that they had a good battle.
"I'm sorry about how I greeted you before." Liari apologized, trying to shake the dizziness out of her head. Regenerating so much of herself TWICE in one fight had ruined her energy supply. Her lids were already drooping over her eyes as exhaustion weighed them down, the little blue majin finding it so difficult to even stay upright like this! "You didn't deserve it... I was just so desperate for a good fight I got a little carried away." It wasn't often Liari apologized like this, not for something she considered so minor but this boy had earned her admiration beyond just his power. He had been a very interesting opponent and a nice guy throughout it all. The sayain had been a very nice play-mate for her today and to her, that meant something. Strong people with soft hearts and respectable personalities served her fine. She cast her silver eyes to Namek's wide, green sky, making a distinct effort to keep air in her lungs.
"My name is Liari. It was a lot of fun fighting you." She offered her hands to the boy, failing to remember if she introduced herself properly or not. That's how people introduced themselves, right? Smile and hold out their hands for people to shake? The little blue majin never spent enough time around people to know what their weird little customs were... She was pretty much just improvising.
"You've got to be one of the strongest people ever! Nobody I've ever fought was this powerful before! I fought lizard people... humans, purple cat-things and other guys like me and none of them had been so powerful! How did you get this strong???" Liari gushed and gushed over Rensu's power like it was the pillar of it all and, in her mind, he was. He was just so cool... She wanted to know ALL about him! His name, the secret of his power, his history, everything! Especially how he was able to turn his hair gold like that. She just HAD to know how someone could turn their hair different colors! Maybe she could do the same with her head tentacles! But wait.... She blinked, remembering something...
"Mm?" Rensu hummed, cocking a brow as Liari seemed to adjust and sit herself up. Now that he was sitting beside her, and they weren't fighting of course, he now was able to get a better look at this gummy adversary. She looked...well, normal? Then again, in this universe - what constituted normal? Blinking, Rensu scratched his chin lightly. Laughing a little before shaking his head slowly. "Ah, don't worry about it, y'know? Guess you were a little deprived of a good fightin'? It happens to the besta' us!" The teen laughed a little at his own statement, hoping he'd ease Liari's apparent guilt the best he could. Now that she wasn't so hellbent on beating the hell out of him, she seemed much nicer than what he could've initially expected! It was kind of satisfying? It was hard to say, really.
"Name's Rensu. Rensu Horyu," He smiled, introducing himself as if none of that combat ever happened! He even went as far as to take her hands into his own and hold them fairly firmly. For a magic creature, she sure knew her customs pretty well. Truth be told, her constant gushing had gone and made the young man blush fairly hard. His cheeks burning a bright red as she complimented him and his golden hair. Speakinforgottenthe youth had totally forgot he was still transformed at all! "Ehehe! I'm not all that, trust me, hehe!" He argued, though he laughed like a fool at the same time. "Um, a lotta' training! That's about it, really, heh!" He raised both brows as she mentioned Cargo. "Oh! Oiiii, Cargo! You can come out!" He shouted and called, whistling after announcing the coast was clear. The little green kid poking out and flying over, albeit somewhat sheepishly. Not a peep leaving him, though.Liari
Liari grinned as the sayain boy understood her reaction, stating that it happened to the best of them? She cocked her head and smiled a little wider, wondering if that was true... Her sister NEVER flipped out the way she did when she got bored, nor did Isabella and she hadn't seen enough of Celerous and Tundra to make an accurate judgement. Out of all the people she actually started to know, none of them had ever acted like that... But maybe he did...? He certainly got where she came from. Deprived of a good fighting? OH yeah... And this had been one of her best ones in a while... Not too overwhelmed, not too underwhelmed and although she lost in spectacular fashion, she was more than happy to take it.
She held out her hands for the boy to take, smiling a little wider as her took her hands in his, giving them a firm squeeze as he introduced himself. Rensu.... She jotted that name down in her mental notebook for later... To maybe consider him a friend. She gushed and gushed over his power and the coolness he'd displayed in their battle only for him to all humble on her, stating that he wasn't all that.
"You are to me, though!" The Majin protested, giving his hands a squeeze back. "To me you're one of the strongest people I've met and that makes you really cool!" The boy tried to laugh it all off but she persisted, trying to get him to see just how awesome he was. "Like... no one on Earth was ever this strong! I want to be just as tough as you as soon as I can! Then we can have better fight!" Her silver eyes glowed a light red with warmth as she smiled at the sayain boy, still not retracting her hands. She liked to stay as close to her friends as possible, be it physical contact or something else... And She was starting to see him as a friend. Strong and kind... The best kind of people in this universe... When Rensu responded to her question, stating that it was just training that made his hair go all gold like that, the Majin, tilted her head a little more, somehow figuring that wasn't all there was to the story. Like... She's been training HARD since she woke up on earth to regain her lost power and she hadn't turned gold like that! It had to be some trick locked away in his body or something... She knew she didn't have the same body as the guy, that some rules were different... She supposed the golden hair was one of them...? Maybe.
When she inquired about the boy's little friend, the sayain called out into the distance for him, the little Namekian flying over to them quietly and cautiously.
"Cargo...?" She repeated softly, her smile falling into an inquisitive frown. What, like the stuff people put on boats? That was kind of weird.... Did they name people after freight on Namek...? This planet was just getting stranger and stranger. Despite how weak the kid was and how Liari DESPISED weakness, she was glad to see Cargo was alright... She and Rensu had been tearing up the area and it was a nice thing to see the child didn't get hurt in the process.
"Hiya!" She greeted, looking past her own distastes and for once acting her age. "My name is Liari! I like your name, Cargo!" She took a hand from Rensu's offering it out to the little Namekian child for him to take. "I'm sorry if I scared you before... I didn't mean to."
"Eheh! Gosh, you really know how to make a guy feel amazin' about himself!" The youth laughed a bit more, his face burning almost fully red now. The onslaught of compliments were certainly something to the young man. "I dunno about all that, there were some pretty intense fighters on Earth, you probably just missed 'em! Like, there was this one guy named Chris and then there's Komatsu! A bunch, really. Oh, yeah there was Jie Shan and Hotato and...uh, I'm rambling." Tilting his head some, the youth smiled pretty contently. Not an embarrassed smile, either. Just one that seemed to radiate ease and comfort. "Ah, trust me you'll be where I am soon enough. I can practically guarantee that, no doubt about it." His response was more than genuine. He genuinely felt that his words could impart at least some kind of effect on the girl. She seemed quite eager, in all honesty, to get crazy powerful and to have the fight of her life. He could support that. While the two conversed, Rensu took note of the little things about Liari. The way she moved her limbs and bodies, the subtle gestures and movements that she created, especially the way that her eyes seemed to gleam a warm crimson as they exchanged words.
His eyes moving onto Cargo. The small Namekian lad floating over quite carefully and touching down, walking over before plopping down beside Rensu. Liari's hand taken and shook, before ultimately being released. He was still a tad timid, but he was a bit more accepting now that all the fuss had gone and died down. "Thank you. Liari, got it." He nodded. Writing her name in his own mental notebook. "It's okay. I, uh, I'd like to think it wasn't on purpose." He sheepishly smiled. His eyes kept to the grassy floor beneath him.Liari
Liari smiled a little as the boy attempted to be modest again, explaining that there were so many other stronger people on earth! As he listed off so many different names, the little blue majin laughed and squeezed his hands again. Out of all of those, there was really only one name she recalled (vaguely) and she didn't even fight him! She hardly had a clue as to what his full potential was! She could only imagine it was MONSTROUS! But she did fight Ren and she felt she understood him a little as a person. That made him a much better goal in surpassing than any of these other obscure strong people!
"Yeah, but I know you though! That makes you the strongest I've ever met!" She giggled. Upon expressing her desire to get around his level and fight him again, the boy laughed, stating that she could EASILY make it there if she trained hard enough. She grinned at that... Of course she knew she could gain his power by fighting! She learned that in her early time on earth where she actually had to improve herself to survive! It was nice, though, to be reassured by the one you wanted to surpass that this was an achievable goal. He was so calm and at ease with her... It felt nice... They weren't just rivals now, but friendly with each-other and it felt good to just sit and talk with someone like this... As much as she loved fighting and could do it for literal days on end, it was moments like these that helped her unwind after a very stressful day such as this one. She inched a little closer to the boy so that their arms barely touched, just smiling up at him widely.
Cargo took the hand she offered, shaking it briefly before letting it go. She smiled at him, perplexed. Why wasn't he meeting her eyes...? Was it because she was all intimidating and strong? Was it because he was just so shy? The poor kid was actually kind of cute the way he moved about so nervously, clinging to Rensu's side like he was his bulwark against her. She smiled at the kid, giving him a soft pat on his bald, green head before taking Rensu's other hand again.
"It wasn't. I promise. I just wanted to fight your friend here." She looked up at the sayain and gave him a nice toothy smile. "He's amazing." With that, the Majin turned her attention back to her new rival and friend, crossing one leg over the other as she made herself comfortable. Something told her she'd be sitting around here for a LONG time... Maybe it was the burning in her everything as her body DESPERATELY tried to repair the damage suffered in that last attack.
"So what brought you here?" She asked the sayain, one of her many tentacles reaching up to fiddle about with Rensu's spiky hair. It looked so sharp.. She just HAD to know if it could poke her! "Are you just on vacation like me?"
Well, suppose she had a pretty valid point. She fought him and as far as he knew, she only knew of him and him alone. So, he couldn't really argue back and claim she was wrong when she didn't even know or have anything to be wrong about due to lacking experience there. Darn. He'd need introduce her to the older Saiyans that Rensu had come to contact and interact with, huh? Add that to his to do list..that being said, he looked onto the sheepish Cargo. The small Namek quite reluctant but slowly growing comfortable. He couldn't quite blame him. Unfortunately, young Cargo was a bit of a weaker cast member. He'd be ripped asunder had Liari decided to toy with him during their scuffle. He had gone and clung to Rensu’s side almost instinctively. In the time they had together, he and Rensu had come to blossom something of a brotherly relationship. It was a curious but wholesome one, though. Training in exchange for company. “Ah..okay! I understand.” He nodded. His eyes closing for a moment as she lightly pat him. It was oddly comforting..the small boy relaxed. Allowing his “brother” and his newfound rival to speak and converse. Besides, he didn't have all that much to add besides help in Liari’s praise singing. Between the two of them, Rensu would probably implode from the rain of compliments and such. The teen laughing feebly before noticing; She had shuffled a bit closer.
“Please, you're flatterin’’ me.” He chuckled. He did notice her tentacle and how it toyed with his hair..but really he didn't mind. She seemed as kiddy as he did and was likely curious. She oughta be careful, was his first thought. The points of his hair tended to be quite..well, pointy! Almost prickly. Good thing his hair was somewhat reserved in how many spikes it produced! But her question did get to him. “Nah. I'm not on vacation.” He shook his head. “Guess you could say Im just moved. This place is my home now,” He shrugged. He felt it unnecessary to mention Saiya’s demise. “You? You're on vacation?” He asked.
Liari shook her head and grinned as the boy's stable condition slowly deteriorated under the onslaught of compliments, stating that they were just flattering him. Nope! She meant every word and besides... What did flattery even mean? A question she'd ask Isabella sometime later because right now she was FAR more interested in that spiky hair! her two longest tentacles that hung down over her face poked and probed the Sayain's hair with great interest, her eyes widening as the hair poked her right back! Sure, it wasn't like spikes or anything but it was all rough and prickly, like she was running her hands through a porcupine or something! Rensu was getting more and more interesting by the second! She couldn't stop poking and prodding at his head, having so much FUN just feeling all that weird, prickly hair. It was so much tougher and course than normal human hairs! So weird... She wanted the carpets of her ship lined with this stuff so she could feel it every day!
When she asked about his presence here, Rensu's mood seemed to change a bit. Liari glanced up at him from her curious probing, her silver eyes meeting his as he explained that this was his home now... Did she detect a bit of bitterness in his voice? She didn't blame him... This planet had to be the most boring in terms of setting. All the climates were the same, all the creatures were the same... Everything looked the same and the days never ended. Still... That meant he had a home before this, right...? She wanted to hear about that! She looked up at him curiously, halting her poking and prodding if only for a moment.
"Yeah! Me and my friend came here to take a break from Earth! I thought it'd be fun to come here and relax! Except Namek's kinda boring." Liari admitted with a giggle, shrugging her shoulders lightly. "Everything's either green or blue and there's no night. It gets kinda hard to look at after a while." The majin, shifted her tentacles from the boy's hair down to his sides, poking him lightly as if to nab his attention. She was always so ticklish when someone poked her there... Maybe a Sayain would be too?
"Where'd you come from before?" She asked, tilting her head innocently to the side. "Was it like here?" The little blue majin let go of her friend's hands, instead resting them lightly in her lap as she retracted her tentacles as well. Knowing Ren's story might just make them better friends right? That's what Laezi always told her when she'd come home and not tell her anything.
If I know where you've been, we can be better friends!
Liari hoped he'd be willing to share. He was the kind of person she'd love to be friends with.
"Take a break from earth?" Rensu repeated aloud. "How could ya take a break from earth of all places? It seems like the best place to live and vacation on!" The teen rubbed the back of his neck and huffed a rather short breath. "Then again, doesn't boring mean relaxing? If it's boring, then there's nothin' to distract you! So, by default resting and relaxing seems like the only thing to do. Right?" The teen snapped his fingers. Figuring his quick, internal math would do the trick and his point across. His eyes darted to Liari as she poked his sides. Chortling a little, he swiftly smacked her tendril with gentle force. "Heh!" He giggled. "I guess I see your point, Liari. The same old same old could get to a person pretty easily. Guess I could thank home for teaching me how to deal with doing the same thing over and over and not get completely sick of it within a few minutes, huh," He mused.
"Mm?" The boy cocked his head. "I'm originally from Planet Vegeta. But, uh, then it kinda got destroyed. Then it became Blehbarry, then Saiya.." He sighed. "But again, it got destroyed. So, I ended up movin' here." He waved a hand rather conversationally. "Nah. Not by a long shot."Liari
"There was something else we were doing on earth." The Majin explained with a soft smile. "I guess what I meant to say was that we were taking a break from that." When she went for his sides with her tentacles, he giggled and laughed batting them away gently. She smiled wider at his resistance, pleased to find her probing had found the results she was looking for. She listened a little while longer, nodding as he explained that he had many homes up until now... Vegeta, Blehbarry, Saya bu they all kept getting destroyed. She pursed her lips, her silver eyes flashed with sympathy. Now she felt all guilty about bringing it up! Well... when that was the case, there was only one thing to do: Get his mind off it!
Again her tentacles made a go for him, poking and prodding both of his sides now instead of just one, two of them gently jabbing into his sensitive sides in an effort to invoke that ticklish sensation again! Once they'd struck him, she'd lean in a quite a bit, making it easier for them to work, putting a hand on his shoulder and pushing him on his back if able. From there, she'd quickly straddle him, her fingers working along with her "Hair" to tickle the poor boy mercilessly with the most innocent evil expression on her face.
What better way to get someone's mind of a depressing topic like their home blowing up than to make them laugh until their lungs hurt? She certainly couldn't think of any! As she worked on the sayain's ticklish spots, she glanced over at Cargo, flashing him a smile to signal for him to join in too if he wanted! Liari would move her hands to pin Rensu's down by his wrists near his head, leaving him painfully open to the tickle assault that would be coming his way if he allowed it!
"Tickle fight!" She declared with a laugh, formally declaring war on her new sayain friend.
