I'M TOO YOUNG, TOO SMART AND TOO GOOD-LOOKING TO DIE.
Nori felt like he had not moved in quite some time.
Well, to be more accurate, he felt like he had just emerged from something of a drunken stupor, wandering around some ruins he had woken up in and trying to get a grasp of his bearings. He had a general idea of where he was - the ruins on Sadal - but he didn't know exactly how he had ended up here. When he first regained consciousness, he took a good minute to try and remember how he had ended where he was, but it was to avail. The more he tried to recall it, the more an explanation eluded him. The last thing he remembered was attempting to meet with his old squad and, after feeding a half-asses explanation, abandoning ship.
Nori's train of thought slipped as he remembered those events. He still felt a pang of guilt for not telling them the whole story, but it was for the best. He didn't know if his actions were being observed, and even if they weren't, their efforts to trash his 'boss's' base would certainly get him destroyed otherwise. No, for no, it was better to play it safe. He supposed he didn't really lie to them, but at the same time, he felt the back of his mind remind him that 'omission of the truth is the same as a lie.' Oof.
Shaking himself out of his angst, Nori took a moment to ponder possibilities. He didn't really feel hung over or something, but the possibility existed that he had somehow gotten drunk - did alcohol even affect him anymore? Definitely a question for later - and blacked out. Unlikely, but possible.
Nori thought about it a bit more, and then was left scratching his head irritably, once again. He was working with too little information. What was today? That was a good place to start. With that resolve, he began to hover through the ruins, looking around. He took his time to fly around, but didn't notice any threats. So, it was unlikely he was knocked out in a battle or something. Then again, if he had been knocked out by combat, there would be damage on him to show for it. He definitely was not on the right track to figure this out.
It was around this point that Nori deduced that the fastest way to determine what happened would be call in the people who made his body - good grief, they probably have surveillance cameras on him or something - but he definitely would only do that as a last resort.
Instead, he wandered around until he found something of interest - a person. An old guy - and because Saiyans only get older towards the end of their life, he was probably really old. Nori quirked an eyebrow and dropped down next him, his surprisingly weighty body cracking the ground as he landed. "Uhh... Heya." Nori began, giving a wave.
The old guy seemed surprised. "Oh, you're out and about? Color me surprised." The old man croaked out. "You haven't moved in so long that I mistook you for dead." Nori's response was a confused tilt of the head.
"Yeah, about that..." Nori began, somewhat nervously. "Can you fill me in on what exactly happened there? I don't remember." He asked. The old guy gave a hearty laugh in response.
"I canot say I'm surprised. You took quite a fall." Nori's response was for a confused expression to be plastered over his face. Fall?
"You were flying overhead at high speeds and suddenly just dropped! I tried to drag you to my house, and to my surprise, you must weight at least twice as much as the average person." Yeah, being made of metal would do that to someone.
"...Ah. Well, thank you." Nori thanked, seemingly pretty awkward about the whole ordeal. So, he randomly shut down while flying, huh? Nori gave a sigh to himself while the old man wandered off and prattled on about something. He was gonna have to make a call he really didn't want to.
