It felt like an eternity for Volta, flying through the endless void that was space. His body racing to the planet Sadal. his first stop on hi trip around the universe. As he entered the atmosphere, the friction around him almost tickled, the heat increasing around his body.
From a simple foreign object entering the atmosphere, Volta quickly became a flaming ball, rapidly descending towards the surface of the planet. He was quite relishing in the heat as he did so, it reminded him of the magma springs back home, where one could get a warm bath in if they were worried about even the smallest degree of rust.
Volta kinda hoped his light show would be enough to draw attention to him and his arrival, exploring an unknown planet seemed both bothersome and exhausting, but then again he was the one that thought it a great idea to be launched here like some slow moving interplanetary missile.
Touma's whistles were quiet and calm. Just as he himself was at this very moment. Tending to his animals at a leisurely pace, the young man had very little to worry about now. Training with Octas was fun, and took up a fair sum of his time. He pondered, though, what that Demalia and Rutaba people were up to. Were they training together and with Octas, too? Truth be said, it was little of his business and as such: The man worried not. Instead, he simply went about his daily doing. Well, he intended to. As he fed Shū, his faithful golden avian friend, he noticed something. A whistle that outdid his a great deal. A brow cocked as Shū ate from his palm, Touma began wondering whether it was his business to even investigate what the sound was. A mighty thud, a crash sounding out. “What the heck?” The male turned his head to the outdoors.
A sigh left him as he pat his friends head. “I'll be back. If I ain't, the house is all yours and you gotta take care of the hens, 'kay Shū? Great.” Touma smiled. Exiting his stable and looking about. A trail was left in the sky by the new alien visitor. As well as a great plume of smoke left from probably burnt metal and impact combining with one another. Quickly, the young man rushed over. Volta landed fairly close to Touma's farm, funnily enough. Aliens sure did love rural areas, didn't they.
As the youth drew close, he readied himself. Expecting some threat or just some wayward traveler, the male was surprised to see the arrived technological individual. “Hey! You okay?” Touma shouted. Unable to see past the debris and smoke kicked up by the robot's amazing entry to Sadal. “Y'spooked my hens, yknow!” He added.
First air, then what felt like an explosion. As Dirt and rock threw itself around Volta he realized he had finally landed, albeit crashed, on the planet's surface. Taking a moment to collect himself he let the ringing in his ear subside some. By the time he had entirely come to it appeared as if his arrival had come as noticed.
"I wasn't expecting someone to find me this quickly. Did I land close to a settlement?"
Volta spoke as he brushed the dirt off his body with his left arm. the Missile battery on his right side was closed shut so he didn't immediately come off as a threat, he didn't want the entire planet after him after all.
"What part of the planet am I on? And to whom may I be speaking?
Volta spoke as he walked through the cloud of dust, still unable to see the saiyan that was nearby. Making his way through however the vision became clear and he would have rolled his eyes if he had any at the sight of a being with organic flesh.
“Over here, buddy,” Touma waved. Jumping into the crater caused by Volta, and waving his arms about to clear the smoke and after affects of the Metalman's entry. “Oh,” Touma found himself surprised. “Woof, you're not the kind alien I was expecting at all. I was thinking something mean and off colored..you just look colorful.” The Saiyan rubbed his chin inquisitively. Blinking, he waved a hand. “Yeah, you landed by a settlement; My settlement!” He announced.
“Huh? You're on Sadal, tin-man!” Touma raised a hand and waved it around once again. “Home of the Saiyans and the Saiyan Kingdom. Universe's strongest warrior race and the universe's most diplomatic; Least, that's what they tell ya in school.” Touma chuckled to himself. “And you're talking to Farmer Touma, himself. Disciple o' the hand, and discipline o' the fist, but far from the strongest this place 'as gots to offer,” The young farmer continued. Speaking as truthfully as he could.
Kaitara was holding onto a pair of amulets that she had just finished creating, one was rather small while the other looked like it would loosely hang around her neck. She stared at both of them hesitantly, silently struggling with her own decision to go down to planet Sadal... Onato would be away for about 45 minutes which was more than enough time for her to get down to the living world and back thanks to this talisman. She felt like she was holding her breath, her heart beating rapidly in her chest as she knew she was doing something she shouldn't be... but she just couldn't help it! She had to see what they were like in person, t he quadrant she was supposed to look after... she always watched over them closely through her orb but... other than duty she felt no attachment to her creations, and that made her sad. How could they go on without the love of the God overseeing them.
She would pat Chiga's head lightly, pushing down her ears as she slipped the talisman around it's neck, placing her own talisman around hers. Just as she felt Onato's energy disappear from this world, the talisman would pull her own energy and have her appear on planet Sadal. The young girl quickly pulled the hood of her cloak up above her head, hiding her hair and ears from anyone that might spot her as she had no intention of interfering with the saiyans. She just wanted to see them...
She found herself miles away from where she wanted to be, instead finding herself nearby what looked to be a spaceship! Far away from the capital city as she had hoped! A small yip escaped her lips as the Kaioshin quickly bolted it behind a nearby tree, even though she hadn't seen anyone just yet. Chiga began to meow in protest to the sudden movement and Kaitara tensed up, shushing the small creature and placing a finger to her nose in protest.
"I get that I'm on Sadal, but nonetheless you answered my question."
Volta's rather mechanical sounding voice emanated as his usually scowling mouth opened and moved to speak, what would appear to be metallic and sharp teeth would be visible to the keen sighted. Taking a few steps forwards, pulling his third support leg up as to not offset his balance. Volta would look the saiyan up and down, trying to see if this specimen of the species carried any traits to redeem them in the jaded metalman's eyes.
"Call me whatever you want, but my proper name is Volta. I hail from afar and am travelling the galaxy to escape my bore of a home. You said you were part of a settlement nearby?"
Resting his left hand on what would be the closest to his hip, or perhaps his chin. The metalman would wait for the saiyan to reply. For a moment he thought he detected movement nearby, but assumed it was perhaps wildlife.
“Woof, you're quite the friendly can o' beans,” Touma commented to himself, not entirely impressed by the robots attitude and choice of carrying itself. It seemed awful cocky and had a mean attitude to go along with it. Rubbing his chin, Touma still found the will issue a small smile of sorts. “Glad I could answer that,” He blinked. Taking something of a heavy breath before pointing at the large settlement owned by the very Saiyan talking to Volta in the first place. “Yeh,”
“Youre on my settlement, Volta. Welcome to Touma Farm.” He smiled. “I'd say thanks for the crater, but I still haven't figured out how I'm gonna turn this into something, yknow, useable. I'm sure it'll come to me. It usually does.” He shrugged. Touma had to ask Volta something though. “So, your homeworld was a bore, so ya came here? I dunno if we should be flattered or insulted; Youre not using us for petty fun are you?” He cocked a brow. During this exchange, Touma hadn't even noticed the presence of the Kai not to far away...
Kaitara kept the hood pulled up closely, Chiga hiding inside of it while perched on her shoulder. She was thankful that the two hadn't been spotted yet and instead knelt down behind the tree and just continued to peer over to the pair while listening to the exchange. The metalman there wasn't under her jurisdiction, and she was struggling to remember just who oversaw that race. Was it Aurora? No no... She scratched at her head trying to remember this little detail but was distracted whenever Touma, the saiyan, seemed rather upset that his land had been damaged by the spaceship.
'Don't interfere Kaitara...' She silently reminded herself, staying firmly perched in her position, staring rather intensely at the crater she had just 'escaped' from. She licked her lips nervously before placing her hand on the ground, a low blue light emitting from her fingertips and travelling into the ground below her. All of a sudden, the ground would begin to shake under their feet, and a stream of water would shoot up under the metalman's ship, pushing it upwards into the sky and outside of the crater, all the while filling the crater with fresh, clean water...
WC: 198 Totally OOC tech that I don't actually have, but basically using a Kai's ability to 'create' to force a geyser to fill the crater with water.
"A farm eh? That means you some adorable little creatures? I wish to see them."
Volta spoke, his tone of voice changing from dissatisfaction to amusement at the thought of small, and furry or feathered creatures. Almost hopping in place as he waited for the saiyan to confirm his hopes. Meanwhile he was actually considering what they could do with the hole he happened to leave on this farm, it could potentially harm the animals and he didn't want anything like that to happen.
"Perhaps you can fill it with wa-"
Volta's voice trailed off as he heard the water erupt behind him, filling the hole. Someone else was there or he was a wizard and didn't even realize it. Rapidly thinking about a nice bottle of thick Metalman Magma, only ht best brand of molten rock, but alas nothing came to hand. Looking around for a bit, hoping to see something, but the quick glance revealed nothing to him.
"I think someone else is here."
Volta spoke quietly to the saiyan and himself. Not wanting to arouse suspicion form whoever was there in fact.
From the sadal defense force, a group of defenders on this planet who while she was not a member of, shared a common foe with, had gotten word of a large mass entering the atmosphere. Being one of the few people on this planet who could breathe in space with ease, she had volunteered to go check it out just in case of the worse. Their forces were already stretched thin as could be from investigations on rumors of locations of the Umbrawn virus. Every time she heard the name, that same pain wracked throughout her heart as she remembered her mother. The monsters that were the Ocyrians, the pain she wanted to make them suffer, the pain she wanted them to feel for their threats to this universe, for their treasons in creating such a destructive virus. Her thoughts were wrapped in this pain, in this hatred, enough that her own notice brought her back, kept her calmer as she tried to regain her balance.
As she neared what seemed to be a crater, two forms were visible further nearby, possible witnesses maybe? Only one way to find out. Using her sensing abilities to their utmost precision she would focus downwards towards them projecting her thoughts through what she considered her clan’s primal language, the language of truth, of ideals, of the mind. She was a psychic and each day she pushed, she could feel those very powers expand. ‘Do you two know what it was to have happened here? You’re the only two I could see from above that were witnesses to here.’, she would project with telepathy as she approached even closer, unknowing she was projecting her telepathic thoughts towards the third hidden member as well.
The form before them was a strange one for how rare her species was in general across the universe. They were still near extinction after all, and only time would repair her races’ numbers. The sight of who she was, was very alien to say the least, unlike the majority of species in the galaxy. Her red eyes seemingly piercing as they squinted from the bright light of the sun, her fur whiter than the palest of snows, all the while with a swishing tail behind her. Her sensible power wasn’t terribly high, primarily due to her weights, but as of now, there was no need for her to release more than one percent of her true strength.

Water. Water began spouting from seemingly nowhere and filled the crater a fine sum. Needless to say, Touma was incredibly pleased by this turn of events. His eyes opening with opportunity and a smile drawn along his lips. “Wow!” He exclaimed. Unlike Volta, he saw this as a blessing and not necessarily a sign of danger. “Well, I'll be! Guess a Kai is looking after me, after all!” Touma grinned. Looking to Volta, the male shook his head. “If someone is around, I oughta say hello, don't I? This miracles got me in a mighty fine mood, hehe!” He laughed.
Interestingly a new face showed up. “Huh? Another new person? Alrighty. Hi, yeah, this is my property. Farm belongs to me.” He stated, pointing a thumb to his settlement for Rose to look.
'Oops... Maybe that was a bit much?' Kaitara thought to herself as a mild pout began to cross the young Kai's features. She chanced a glanced at the Metalman and Saiyan to see if she had been spotted, shifting backwards ever so slightly behind the tree. It was a good thing she was so petite, otherwise this tree would never be enough to cover her! Chiga would like a low grumble as he leaped off of Kaitara's shoulders, crouching down near the base of the tree as the small creature peered out himself now as well when a new energy signature began to approach.
"Is that..." Kaitara began to whisper to Chiga as she spotted the Anubian approaching the other two. She stood up rather abruptly at that, unsure of what to make of an Anubian in her sector of the Universe... There were so few of this species left, just what was she doing here? She didn't even know that she was... were there others? Should she tell Onato? No way, that would just reveal the fact she had come to Sadal in the first place...
Her cheeks suddenly started to turn red however as her worry was washed away as quickly as the dirt in the crater had been whenever the Saiyan suggested that a Kai was looking after him. She couldn't help but beam from one pointed ear to the other at that! She never really noted if the saiyans were the religious sort or not, but just like with Chiga, she wanted to make sure that her creations, her mortals were living the best life they could be, away from any darkness that might hurt them or steer them off their path.
"Chiga I want..." She felt the small cat like creature suddenly nip at her ankle, causing the kai to gasp and then quickly cover her mouth as she stared down at the smll creature accusingly.
Volta was still scratching his head as he had briefly turned back to look at the filled crater in full. It was quite the peculiarity. Then a shock of concern came over him, had he left his wallet in there? Patting his side for a moment, he felt the small metal box on his hip and let out a sigh of relief, realizing he had not left his money in the now pond. Turning back to the saiyan s voice shot through his mind, at first he didn't know where it was coming from, but watching the saiyan's attention he saw the being in the sky.
"Oh yeah, I caused the hole. I sort of just got here from my home planet. We don't really have spaceships there so they launched me to this planet from a gigantic catapult."
Revealing his exact means of travel, Volta spoke to the unknown being that had telepathically spoken to them. As they drew closer their form intruiged him. He felt like he knew what the alien was, but wasn't entirely sure for that matter. Taking a moment to mull over it, he thought best to ask.
"I think I've read about your species... are you a 'cat'? The data said your kind were a lot smaller."
The curious metalman would examine the "cat" from every possible angle to get a grasp on what exactly they were. His attention had been entirely drawn from the farm until he thought ht heard something coming from where teh saiyan had pointed at, indicating the farm's location.
"What animals live on this farm? I must see them."
Quickly asking, the metalman must know, if there was anything small and feathered or fluffy he must interact with it.
This was a very strange meet up between one large metalman and yet a farmer saiyan as well. There was nothing prosecuting against such yet, but the meetup was indeed strange. However, as the metalman would begin to explain how he was catapulted across, she couldn’t help but beg the question to ask something else, such an act was dangerous after all. Such weight moving at such velocity could have gotten someone killed. “What you did was entirely reckless than, you could’ve gotten someone killed, or with the weight, you had launched yourself with, large enough to be pulled up off our radars. You could’ve done a lot worse.”, she would begin to mention as the metalman would take a curious look at her. It was strange, unusual, and being perfectly honest. Made her feel awkward. That was when he called her some kind of thing she had never even heard of before. In all her knowledge from her father of species in this galaxy she simply had to ask.
“The absolute hell is a cat?”, she would yell at him as she could feel her anger rising along with constant examinations. It made her blood boil and her very ki as well to be examined like this. Her aura gaining a dark shade around it as she very clearly didn’t look so amused. Without realizing her own power was starting to grow in her annoyance as her control slowly began to slip over her suppression. Once more without a single movement of her mouth, she stared hard towards the metalman and focused one clear message publicly once more with telepathy. “Keep observing me like that, and you will not like the end result…”, her mental tone would send being quite hostile in such. Anger was boiling however with his insult and she could feel her ki control slipping.
As she would turn towards the farmer, before she could get something out in telepathy, her large ears heard the gasping in the distance. She would begin to push out her sensing abilities as she felt for the power there, feeling something…different, something otherworldly in a sense. ‘Seems another visitor perhaps? What is this ki, however? It feels strange, warming and yet, it has me uneasy with its strangeness. There are no other shuttles here, however, and I spotted no one else while I was in the air, yet these two here have barely made much notice to it. So how did this ki get here in the first place?’, Rose would simply begin to question in her own thoughts as she waited for the situation to unfold further upon her.

“Huh? What in the good golly is a cat, tin man?” Touma asked, as well. Though, his posing of the question was far less abrasive and aggressive than the feline warrior's. Nevertheless, Touma found nothing wrong with this situation in the slightest. If anything, this was good! People interacting, being social. Overall a good time for all, right?Short post. x.x
