Sigma finally was let go from the people who she was interacting with, that was quite an odd situation but now she could finally focus on what she came here for, building ideas on life on other planets to help out Earth, though little did she know of the dire situation on her home planet. She was lucky enough to leave to go somewhere else just before the conflict started, if she stayed she might have fought to a bitter death if this were the case, but she lucked out and could live for much longer than those she knew of.
She was making a suit that would permanently make the air on this planet breathable for her, sure it was kind of flashy but it was also going to be used in fighting as well, that transparent suit she wore had a battery life that lasted too short, and this new suit would use her own energy at a minimal rate to keep itself charged, everything on her body had a purpose of being there, fashion was usually the last option to come along, everything had to have a use on her or she would be burdened by whatever did not have use on her.
Sigma wrote on paper on her theory of fighting. It was something many tried to do but not many could, she used their work to build on her on and she tried to perfect the theory of how one should live to become the strongest fighter they could, it did not guarentee that they would become the strongest fighter amongst their peers but this would push them to their unbreakable limits. Speaking of limits, that was a fundamental part of it, everything living or dead, had a limit to how strong it could become before they would need more time-consuming food than fighting.
What she really needed now was someone to test this theory on, she needed someone young to help her out and live that way, it wasn't something vastly different from ones lifestyle, the only changes were perspectives on things and reactions to certain stimuli, and of course, a training regimen that would supply the most efficient growth using past principles, such as the FITT principle and the Progressive Overload principle, as well as scientific things such as Max Heartrate, Max VO2 On someone, though those could be trained with any training regimen, this one she was thinking of would be the most efficient.
Trying it out herself, might result in some positive results but she would be too old to have the maximum effect of her theory, unless she found something that could increase her life by maybe 50 years or so, she was too old to get the kick out of her theory, so someone young was needed.
"I could go ask those patrolmen that approached me for help, but that would seem rather odd, I didn't leave quite the impression that I was completely harmless." Her own personality was her downfall here.
While in her old spacepod, she dreamt of great things. She was at peace in her ship as the autopilot just directed her where it had been programmed to go. She awoke startled by some turbulence which had shaken her ship. She must have been entering a new planet, she looked at the screen as she saw it was Namek she was on. Weird. She didn't enter Namek's coordinates but she would have to make do with this planet. "Damn it stupid machine." She muttered as she picked up one of her wooden swords as she readied to make her out of the ship, she opened the hatch and fell out of the ship but managed to grab a ledge she could hold on to as she screamed for help as the ship zigzagged around the area she was in. She was holding on for dear life as she nearly crashed into several rock formations and into several ponds of water. She felt her grip loosening as she closed her eyes and lost her grip finally as she fell through the sky with her falling speed and height it would be all over for her if she wasn't saved or caught. "AGGGHHH!!!!" She screamed as she kept falling.
Sigma looked at the sky as she was thinking about her theory before the sight changed. There was a small speck in the sky crashing down towards a planet. Was it a meteor? No it couldn't be it didn't seem to be one, the size was too small to keep its shape while crashing down this atmosphere which was already thicker than Earth's which meant there was more air resistance in the sky, that means a meteorite with that size should not be crashing down without splitting, it might be a space-ship since this place seemed to be a popular landing site for aliens.
As she looked at the ship in the sky she noticed something else, a smaller speck poking out of the ship. The shape of the speck seemed to be like a person! They were in danger! The first thing I need to do I need to figure out where it's going to land..Let's see if I still got it. She quickly calculated its landing site and started to dash towards it, she also took into account her own speed. Okay, now.... the ship was approaching the ground and she needed to catch up to it, once she did she saw the small body there, it was a girl who was clinging to dear life as it was falling. She had then flown right next to the woman and she held her hand out.
She closed her eyes again while still screaming as she kept falling until she heard a woman's voice. She opened her eyes again to look at the source of the sound. Letti knew that it wasn't her time to die so fast in her life so she softly gripped the woman's hand and thus placing her trust in the woman. Letti knew about how the woman was flying, it was Ki. Letti grumbled as she should have known how to use but alas she didn't. She planned to have formal training on how to fly when she was a bit older though since she was too young to really understand the ways of the world.
Despite not learning how to use Ki efficiently so far. She was still a strong force to be reckoned with. Letti turned to look at her savior and whispered something quietly to the person that had rescued her. "It's... you?". She then threw her arms around the person to support herself as she couldn't keep dangling like a bit of string off the woman. She curled herself into a ball like shape as she started crying about her near death event.
What she expected had happened, the person accepted her help and then grabbed her arm. She saw the girl cling to her, as they fell. She observed the girl, letting her AI take place of her descent, as the ship had started to crash and slow its momentum down, transferring all of its kinetic energy to other forms of energy, and she wanted to get the scrap from that ship to add to her own, she didn't need to leave right now so all she needed to do was improve her ship by adding parts to it to make it more efficient, but right now she needed to focus on this girl in front of her.
It was obvious that she was afraid of what just happened, and was pretty traumatized in this situation. She understood and let her give a hug before curling into a ball. Though she started to cry and that was concerning. She didn't know what to do in this situation, she never comforted someone when they were crying and she was never comforted when she was crying it was just how things were, but now she felt bad for this girl. In fact she wanted to take care of this girl, it seemed true enough that she didn't have anywhere to go and she didn't have any company.
"Look, can you stop crying? I can take you back to my ship and I can take care of you, your ship doesn't look like it's in any shape to take care of you. Plus I have water and food on my ship, so you can eat as much as you want there, just please stop crying!" She was still slightly panicking, out of her entire bizarre life she never encountered a crying child that had no guardian what does she do!?
It was at the moment food was mentioned that Letti stopped crying and then looked at the woman. "You mean I can get to eat food?" She whispered and hugged the woman tighter. If there was one thing that Letti loved more than training, it was eating until she was full up. Despite her excitement for food, she was wary of the woman though. The food could be poisoned, but nevertheless, she had to eat and this was a perfect opportunity to have something to eat. She blacked out and was now in a vision, it was dark and gloomy.
She saw demons all around her with fire pits in certain places. She saw a demon sitting on a throne as she slowly walked up to the Demon King. She knelt on one knee, looking around until she lay eyes on a sword that seemed to call for her to gaze upon it's being. The Demon King noticed this and suddenly vanished then reappeared with the sword. It was in her heart, he had pierced her heart with the blade but had kept her alive with demon magic as the poison began to run through her veins filling her entire being with the demonic power of the curse. She screamed in pain as she powered through it.
And that was when she awoke from her vision, she wasn't terrified or anything but she was shaking a little as she looked at the woman again. "Thank, Miss?" She said and then just remembered to say her own name. "I'm Letti." She whispered.
It was clear that the girl didn't trust her yet. Though, she might have to make her do that, since she was here she could be the test subject for her theory of the best fighter! First she had to take care of this girl and take her to her ship as well as run a couple of tests while she was asleep. It was clear to her that this girl hadn't eaten in a while so she was perfect for a blood sampling. Thus being said, Sigma took the girl in her arms and flew back to her ship, luckily she hid it in a secret place this time.
She laid her down on a bed and attached a heart monitor on her and decided to take a small blood sample out of her which she would use for testing, luckily she had these materials. She did these processes as quickly and as painlessly as possible, when she got the results back from the blood work she had noticed her glucose levels were very low. Since she didn't know how long she'd be asleep she decided to put an IV needle in the girl so that she could replenish her glucose levels.
Now that she thought about it she needed to cook the girl some food, it was clear she was very happy about eating food once more. She finished this and set it on the table next to the bed as she was reading the results from the tests she took on Letti. Letti awoke and introduced herself.
"I'm Sigma. Be careful before eating, you have an IV needle in you which is supplying Glucose to your body since it was at critical levels. You seem healthy enough young lady, so go on, eat up."
Sigma made sure that the levels the girl had were normal for her age and for her gender, everything except the glucose was average.
Letti nodded in acknowledgment as she picked up a large steak as she began to chew it and eat it. She was enjoying the food so far but knew she would be out of action for a while. "So my parents... they died. I escaped...." She said while taking time to speak through eating her food. In a way, she was letting Sigma know she didn't have any parents and needed a guardian to help her survive. "Also why don't you like me crying...?" Letti asked as she looked at Sigma, thus stopped eating to listen to her speak.
She listened and then continued to eat small bits of food to speak more. "I'd like for you to be my guardian. In return, I can help you in any way I can. I will pay you Zeni for me staying with you. " She asked kindly before looking at Sigma with cute eyes and unknowingly enlarging her irises, while dribbled a bit of saliva from her mouth without knowing. She looked at the IV drip and examined it with a curiousness, the device was strange to her and she wanted to know more about it. "What's an IV thingy ?" She asked as she blinked a couple of times.
Sigma heard, that her parents were killed and she escaped from whatever. Sigma got a flashback from that, she remembered being abandoned and being alone, and she knew how it was like to be rejected from other homes. She wanted to take care of this girl, she didn't want her to suffer like she did in the past, she really didn't want any person to feel that sort of pain that she felt as a kid, she wanted this girl to grow up happily. She was going to accept her as a child if she wanted her to be her guardian.
"I don't want you to cry because it might attract someone when you're out there. But in here you can shed out as many tears as you want. Did you know, it can relieve your emotions if you cry because it releases chemicals in your brain that makes you feel better, so please let out emotions if you're in this ship. And speaking of which, I would love to be your guardian, you see, My parents abandoned me when I was a kid and I don't want that happening to you either. There is something I want you to do, and It'll benefit you too."
She gathered from her speech that she was from Earth, she said something about paying Zeni, and that was unique to Earth. She wanted to question that first. "Are you from Earth? I am too." Once she answered she then moved on with the extra question "an IV is a needle that goes inside of your veins, and it can be used to transport vitamins and sugar into your body, you seemed to be lacking a lot of blood glucose and, that is very bad."
"Well nevermind that, tell me when you're finished with your food and I'll prepare something for you to wear. We'll be together for a long time, Letti."
"Thank you very much, Sigma! I will make sure to pay you back someway somehow!" Letti said excitedly as she pushed the last piece of steak into her mouth as she pushed her plate a little to signify that she was finished with her food. "By the way, Sigma. Is there any moon around here?"Letti said worryingly as she knew that she turned into a Great Ape when the moon was out, and she didn't want to hurt Sigma in any way. Letti's tail eventually showed itself by wiggling up to her shoulder and the young Saiyan looked down, knowing there was a chance Sigma could change her mind about caring for her if she saw her tail and that was when she burst out in tears much worse than earlier as her aura just covered her body, it was an orange aura, it wasn't big, it was just giving Letti an orange glow. This was the full extent of her emotions, the tears just kept on coming as she gripped her hair with her hands. She just felt so weak after not eating for a while. But eventually controlled herself as she wiped her tears away before looking at Sigma.
"I am grateful for you deciding to be my guardian. I will find a way to pay you back even if it isn't a lot of help. Thank you again Sigma. " Letti said as she finally got rid of the tears from her face. She hoped she would be able to help her new guardian with proficient effort. If not then she would be a failure to Sigma. Letti smiled warmly and extended her arms for a hug.
The girl had looked excited, and happy. That made her a little bit jealous, she never smiled like that when she was a kid. All she had in her life was adversity if she could prevent unnecessary adversity from this child that would complete her goal as a mother. Though there was a question she was asked, something about a moon. That was odd, what reason could there be for a moon. She wasn't studying anything, and she doubted that a child would be worried about day and night cycles. So what reason must that be? She tried rationalizing before answering, and she only came with a few answers, some of which were outlandish.
She could either be one of those Saiyan folk that had a tail and needed a moon to transform, She needed to see how much light was going to be shown at night, she was part wolf and needed it, she was from nocturnal descent or she wanted to see where the moon would be at night for directions."No there isn't a moon here, this is a trinary star solar system, so even having a moon won't create night time." Even with that, the possibility that she was a Saiyan remained, and that wasn't worrying, in fact if she were a saiyan the better, she read up on how limitless they seemed, and her theory was perfect for someone like that.
"Then I won't transform into a Great Ape then." Letti whispered as she moved her tail completely in view as she sat up and looked around. She felt she was doing okay now so she carefully took away the IV drip from her vein and just got up off the bed as she looked at Sigma. "I asked about the moon because I am a Saiyan and a very stupid one at that. I'm supposed to be a guard for the Royals but instead, I just guard the weapons depot when it doesn't need guarding." She said to Sigma but suddenly remembered something. "You know that time I blacked out. I saw sword that called out to my soul... it was called Murasame. I'm not sure if it exists due to the fact it was just a vision. But it called out to me.. Letti said as she picked up her clothes and examined them. She was sure of her time on Namek would be grand and spectatular and she would get stronger through this part of her life as well so she closed her eyes and thought of the future. She then sighed happily and breathed out slowly. "Here's to new beginnings, Sigma.. I mean Guardian.."
She heard the explanation that she was a saiyan, that and it was confirmed by the fact that she had a tail there. It was characteristic of these saiyans to have a tail, but they didn't need to have it which was odd, and the fact that they would turn into Apes if they looked at the moon at night, their sizes were big in their ape form and she did not want that to wreck her ship, she only have one and she didn't know who even were the natives on this planet. That was something she needed to do before anything else.
"Dreams can be symbolic of something happening. Don't take dreams literally because most of the time, they never are what they are literally, it's something figurative and symbolic about your nature as a person, or problems you face internally or externally." She said sternly, turning around to look for more clothes for Letti to wear before she reconfirmed their new life together. Sigma would just turn around at this and give a smile back to her.
"I look forward to it too, Being with me won't be easy, remember that Letti." Sigma wore her glasses and then gave Letti a spare change of clothes. "I measured your sizes while you were asleep this track suit should fit you well, going outside with it should be fine, it's weather proof." WC: 237 TWC: 2188
Her face lit up in delight as she had new clothes, but they seemed male-ish. But that didn't matter, they would be important to wear as she walked about outside well when the time came she would walk outside. She scrunched up the top and smelled it. The smell of perfume and roses were heaving on the top as she smiled and closed her eyes before slipping the top over her head and wiggling into the piece of clothing before blinking a couple of times. Could we train after I'm dressed please, Sigma.". Letti whispered before grasping her bottoms.
"I just hope we won't get attacked during my time here. I know being with you won't be easy but I think I can manage. As long as we are there for each other and willing to help each other."
Letti wiggled into the bottom without effort before falling over losing balance. She squealed loudly before laughing a little, she had fallen onto the bed. She knew she wasn't harmed. But she had almost died during her trip getting to Namek with how careless she had been after escaping from Namek, she would have to be more careful in her actions with people and ones she trusted.
She stood up again and slipped her footwear on before walking out of the ship and out into the world of Namek before standing looking amazed. It was beautiful. There were trees and large pools of water spotted about the area as well as small hills, there was also small houses in the distance as well. She was just flabbergasted at this planet and what it had to offer. She knew it was the planet of Namekians, one of the species in the universe. They were just as much as fighters as Saiyans were. That had some weight behind it as she knew of one namekian who was legendary among his own race. But still Letti had to cement her own place in the hierarchy of legends.
Sigma thought to herself, how should she start the girls training? She could just go off the theory she made but she knew, based off of her own experiences she needed estimates on how strong she was first, and how fast she was. She needed these estimates to place her onto a level before she could start the actual training. This was perfect, she had the perfect timing and luck at this point, not only was she showing this girl a brand new life, but she could also expand on the girl's training as a person and a fighter, and her being a Saiyan made her theory more applicable as well!
She heard her shriek and she turned around to see that all she did was fall off the bed and she started to laugh, it seemed kind of ironic that she was falling from the sky and now she fell off of her bed, it gave her a small chuckle as she had then followed the girl outside. She now just realized the vastness of the planet and the beauty of it as well, she forgot how this type of scenery looked like in the industrialized parts of Earth. Those parts of Earth were something she did sort of miss, but she was going back anyway (note she has no idea what happened to Earth)
"We can start your training immediately. I just need to know how strong you are, how agile you are, how fast you are, how accurate and reliably you can aim, and many more tests before we can start actual training! I need to know all of this so that I can help you as effectively as possible when training, training is really complicated actually. If done right it can transform your character and your strength if done incorrectly, you will become stronger but lack technique and proper character as a person. I want to pass the knowledge I've learned to you Letti." She smiled at her, as she grabbed her papers and started to prepare some tests.
