As the first round of the Tournament of Power ended, the Grand Priest raised both his hands and with a single movement, merged all of the arenas into one arena, essentially fusing them together. It was damaged in some parts, but not too much and the size was exactly the same as before, only now it had all the remaining combatants of the Universes.
"Warriors of Hope, I therefore declare that the Second Round of the Tournament of Power has started!" he said with a casual smile on his face.
Unfortunately, due to his injuries, Cornatto fainted and was instead teleported to the benches, so Universe 7 had lost yet another fighter.

Tomina was still sitting on her rock. She sensed what was going on in the other arena. They had managed to outlast the fusion, although Carva was killed in the process. A look up into the stands had confirmed that. From there the rest of the warriors of universe 4 were sent up into the stands. Tomina felt a twinge of hope, a smirk spreading across her lips.
<Well I’ll be damned! Our weakest fighters pulled through! I thought that the best they could do was survive to the next round, but they defeated their cheating asses! We have 6 warriors to take on that chaos demon!>
She was shaken from her optimistic thoughts by the sound of yelling at her from the stands. Tomina turned to see Universe 4’s Goddess of Destruction furiously shouting at her. At first it was just standard angry threats. Tomina hopped to her feet, already preparing a witty retort to throw at her.
Bit what she said last made Tomina’s blood run cold. She saw her staring at her sister, charging up an energy ball. Sheer terror filled Tomina as she realized what was going to happen. Tomina’s face turned bone white. She reached out towards the stands, a shriek of horror escaping her lips.
“DODGE IT KAREN!”
Tomina’s shout echoed in vain throughout the entire void. The opposing Goddess of Destruction fired an energy blast directly at her sister. The stands became purr chaos. A Kai appeared out of nowhere, teleporting Karen to safety before standing in front of her like a sentry. Lagerus then caught the energy energy ball before throwing it away from the stands. Nasu then lunged at the Universe 4 stands. “NASU! BACK OFF NOW! THAT BITCH IS MINE!”
Tomina barked up at the stands. Now caring in the slightest that he was the strongest mortal in the universe. Universe 4 had tried to destroy the person she cared about the most. She was glaring murderously at Weiss. She was filled with a white hot fury that she had never felt before. Not even Natto had pissed her off this much.
“Your little tricks were deplorable enough on their own. Then you try to destroy my sister in front of me after she's been dead for 8 years. We’re going to kill that joke of a clown of yours. And when he draws his last breath, then you’ll be gone forever.”
Tomina’s mouth twisted into a skull like grin, staring up at the Goddess of Destruction with absolute Malice. The fact that she was threatening a being who could wipe her out at ease didn’t scare her in slightest. She had tried and destroy the only person who mattered to her. Now she was going to make her pay.
“I’ve decided that nonexistence is too merciful for you. I’m going to add something for my wish after all this is over, just for you. You’ll be the only black soul to survive the erasure of Universe 4. I haven’t felt this excited about a battle in a long time, so I’ve given you something to look forward to in return.”
Tomina transformed into her Super Saiyan Crimson State, still grinning up at the God of destruction. The power increase itself wasn’t meant to intimidate her: the energy it was emitting was far below anything displayed by the fighters during the tournament so far. Her now yellow eyes flashed dangerously up at Weiss, carrying with them the promise of her not so veiled threat. The actions of the God of Destruction were not only spiteful, but contained a hint of desperation. She wanted to push her into a state of dread for what she tried to do Karen.
Tomina powered down again, looking up at the Kaioshin who had saved her sister. She honestly didn’t think that highly of the gods. They had stood against the Saiyans most of the time. So much for being impartial. Yet this one had risked her life to save her sister. She sent the kai a very brief telepathic message.
<You saved my sister when you didn’t have to. If we get out of this alive, I’ll owe you a favor.>
That was about as close as anyone could hope for a “thank you” from Tomina. Unfortunately their chances of survival got lowered before the fight even began. everyone got teleported into the same arena, Cornatto ended up in the stands. Apparently his injuries had been more than he could endure. Well, now they had 5 warriors to take down Piero with. Even though they had only one less member the loss of Cornatto was monumental. Tomina issued a telepathic message to everyone on her team.
<Since Cornatto is out of commission, I’m taking the role of team captain for the remainder of the tournament. I know that most of you would rather get punched in the dick by Nasu before you’d willingly follow my orders. But if we don’t work together in this case, we’re going to fall. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I haven’t come this far only for everything I’ve done to be undone by a fucking psychopathic clown.>
They all had things they had been fighting for all their life. If they didn’t, then they wouldn’t have had the will to make it past the first round. Losing this tournament meant more then losing your life. It meant that their legacies would be erased as well.
<Chris, you charge that spirit bomb. The rest of you help me engage this fucker. You won’t be able to do much direct damage to him outside of a combination attack. If you have abilities or techniques that can weaken him and give me an opening. This bastard took down our strongest fighters. Let’s go kill him!>
Tomina finally turned her attention to the demon on the opposing side. Piero had taken on a very powerful looking form. She couldn’t sense his energy of course. The aura he was eminating was not unlike the Gods of Destructions in the stands. Tomina cracked her knuckles, giving Piero a smirk.
“Alright clown, now’s your chance to backup your talk. You said you could single handedly destroy our universe. Since we pretty much mopped the floor with your comrades, you now have to fight everything that our Universe has. I’m in a real foul mood right now, and you look like a good punching bag.”
Tomina threw off her tattered coat, the article of clothing fluttering to the ground. Her black tank top on display, the Saiyan cracked her knuckles, preparing herself for what was to come. She focused solely on her target, preparing herself to be able to work in conjucture with her allies. It was imperative that she make this demon focus his attention on her. She was fairly certain that they wouldn’t be able to achieve victory in a direct fight. If Chris could charge his evil slaying technique though, then they would have a chance.
[WC=1,210]
Tomina briefly powers up to her Super Elemi (SSJC) Form. She then turns back to her base form. Uses [PT-1} Dimensional Telepathy to communicate with others and discussing strategy with the majority of them.
Tomina takes aim at Piero, making sure that she will hit him and only him.
This whole tournament had been many dirty plays throughout, while some of the other universe had tried being honorable, others did not. He found it unfortunate that he hadn’t been able to watch the other Arenas nearly as much as he wished, at least to get lead against this opponent. All he knew was that he had been strong enough to take out not only Komatsu, but Nasu as well. That already made him a scary threat. It didn’t help that some of his own prior wounds while healed slightly, were still present somewhat. He could feel the pain of them still albeit dulled quite a bit more than before.
This guy was strategic enough however to survive against their strongest warriors, and here he was not knowing anything about him or his techniques. Even as Tomina barked for him to use the Spirit Bomb, he contemplated it. If he was to do so, that would be a lot of energy going to waste on an enemy who managed to defeat much more powerful foes, foes twice as strong as himself. “I’m not using the Spirit Bomb yet, we know barely anything on this guy and yet he’s managed to take out two of our strongest fighters. Before we go wasting all of our energy, we need to know what he can do first.”, he would admit through his own telepathy as he held back and kept an eye towards Pierro. He didn’t like this, not one single bit, but there wasn’t exactly much he could do yet, it would be too risky to go full out against someone like this, someone who again had managed to defeat the best combatants they had to offer. No, they needed to take it easy first.
As he gazed towards his Team, mostly familiar faces, he couldn’t help but smirk a bit, even if they had lost Cornatto for now. It wasn’t over yet. He spent a year training with Bernael in particular and knew exactly what kind of technique their mentor had left him. Cervez as well, a partial mentor, one with powerful techniques at that, he was there to help them with his variety of attacks, albeit he was also incapacitated a bit, but not if a certain healer were to help him possibly. There was a demon there as well, he hated some of those demons with a passion, for everything they had done to him, to his family, to his sister. This wasn’t that demon though, he wasn’t one who deserved anger towards. He was just a father, like he was to be himself soon. They all held something they loved, the spirit bomb wasn’t going to be the trick this time, no he knew full well what he had to do in honor of someone they had lost already here, someone who gave their life to keep the team going. Even for this whole time Tomina had tried acting as the captain, it didn’t matter, the title meant nothing to people who didn’t care for them. Admittedly they had some good plans sometimes, this time was not one of those however.
“Ka…Me..”, he would begin to speak as he got into position. He had to test these waters first before they rolled the high waters. That was his way, that was what he would do. Even as the wisp began to grow in between his two hands, he couldn’t help but think who this was for. ‘Cornatto, Gouken, this is for you two, don’t either of you give up on me now.’

As the round drew to a close, Bernael's eyes shot open like crimson and golden orbs as his power reverted down to his more natural presence as he began to relax a bit. "You're... you're alive!" the halfbreed would immediately shout out towards Heizen as he got up and kicked Comely off of the edge of the Arena. He rubbed the back of his head slowly as he well enough confirmed what happened. "I know... I didn't expect him to time it so well, that was my mistake, it won't happen again. I'm just glad you pulled through it." the hybrid let off a bit of a smile again as he looked out over to the other arena's. They were just barely in time to finish everyone off in their side of it all, as it seemed everyone else finished up early and was waiting for them.
Just in time...
That was the worst part of it, as this Arena itself was looking worse for wear on the durability side. From Heizen, to Cervez, to even the Hybrid himself. All of them were low on energy and just barely able to push through by the end of the timer, leaving them not even a moments rest to get their composure before they were thrust into this next Arena with someone who was supposedly able to take out the monsters that were in the first Arena. As the Arena's were all pulled together to prepare for the final fight, the Demon would take a look around to notice that they had six... no, make that five fighters now. Their team captain had collapsed and was out of the fight now, so it was up to these five fighters to go up against this titan of an opponent. At least they had the numbers game on their side, that was about all they could do for wishful thinking.
Of the five, two of them were from the second Arena who had pushed through their own battle to make it here as well. One was Chris, who the Halfbreed had more than enough time to make friends with and know somewhat the capabilities of, especially with the dedication of the time chamber. But the other one? She was a wild card that he had no idea about apart from how strong they were to be in this tournament as well as that other Arena. It seemed she was taking charge though, and the hybrid didn't really mind that, he had nothing against her. But it seemed that Chris was doing something other than what she talked about, as he started to use the chant for the Kamehameha wave that so many fighters had grown accustomed to using over the years it seemed, he had seen it so many times. Not that it changed much of what his own plan was to be, he just needed to fight as much as he could and push himself to the very limit.
He certainly didn't want to give up just because they were up against an unfathomably strong opponent. Which was sort of in the literal sense, the man was so powerful that the demon couldn't even make a guesstimate since he couldn't FEEL anything. But that had to just be a lie or some form of advanced suppression, he knew he'd have to push himself up to his strongest form to even have a chance of hitting him with even a sliver of power. He took out both Nasu and Komatsu after all. They had pushed this far so that they could survive this stupid tournament, and now it was time for every last fighter to show the fruits of their effort.
The demonic hybrid also couldn't say that he was in a good position to use any of his techniques yet either, so instead of going out of his way to charge anything in preparation for this like Chris was, he just opted to focus his every being on the intimidating clown. Like he had talked about with Heizen, he didn't want to make the same mistake of being the one to cause an opponent to get knocked out of the tournament. This type of focus would allow the Hybrid to get some of his precious energy back as well.
His eyes slowly darted around between his teammates. He had somewhat of an idea of what most of them could due, be it from the fighting in these Arena's or knowledge beforehand, there was only one outlier from that here. He just had to work with what he knew from them, and see what they would do in the meantime. The first round had ended - leaving the Demon King exhausted and fairly bruised up all over. In his most natural state the Demon King’s Jackal Form was head to toe covered in leaked blood and scratches from the last round of combat. The irony being that it was his own team that nearly killed him both times, rather than the enemy itself. First the Legendary Super Saiyan’s power had overwhelmed him almost, and then the friendly fire from his nephew had almost taken the life out of him. He looked like a mess, and it was fairly obvious. Despite his appearance however, even he had some fight left to go. Unlike their team captain, who collapsed from the result of his injuries. Heizen could only wonder what kind of warrior could do such damage to the Saiyan. Must have been some fighter.
Meanwhile the warriors from Arena Three were not in the best shape. Cervez was missing an arm and had gotten fairly roughed up by the fusion. However The Demon King didn’t look much better than Cervez right now, as he had also taken quite a bit of a beating. The only one who hadn’t taken too much damage was Bernael, the Demon King’s Nephew. He had gotten a bit roughed up by the fusion, but other than that he hadn’t sustained any real damage. Heizen couldn’t help but be kind of impressed by that. He supposed being of Nakiya’s blood however justified his progress and his potential. And unlike his Aunt - Bernael was a real warrior. He put everything he could into his training, rather than relying on magics and other such things.
He couldn’t help but feel a bit of respect for his Nephew-in-law. Even if he recognized that they would likely be on different sides after this. “Same for me regarding you, Nephew,” the Demon King would note with a stern face. “Not to worry… I am hard to kill. I’ve made it this far from nothing, after all…,” the Demon King would say.
It was at that moment that they were transported to the second stage… where he was to fight alongside Saiyans. Hybrids it seemed based off their features. He loathed these beings with a passion. What he would give to be able to shove a Dark Gravity Orb right in their faces. But such was the tragedy of these circumstances.
How ironic that he would have to team up with a bunch of Saiyans against one of his own kind. He stared at the Clown Demon for a few moments.. Before his attention was drawn to the stands.
It would appear their Hakaishin was rather foolish. Doing the same thing Jarvis was erased for doing. He clenched his teeth as she dared to strike at the stands. His head turned to the Zeno-samas and the Daishinkan. He wouldn’t have dared to address them earlier, but this was one such occasion where he could risk it..
“Daishinkan-sama, Zeno-samas: How are we to focus on your entertainment if we have to worry about this Goddess in the stands attacking our loved ones? Spectators like this should be dealt with, no?”
He would say, implying that her erasure should be immediate and permanent. He ignored Tomina’s idiotic challenge and response to the Hakaishin’s threats. He doubted even a Saiyan as strong as her would be able to touch a Hakaishin. The Gods were not easily to topple, and her miniscule power level was not enough for her to make such threats. Convincing the other Gods to intervene however was a much more fruitful approach potentially.
He telepathically messaged Tomina, trying to gently place himself in her head to communicate. {“I’d focus on our enemy in front of us here instead of worrying about her. The fact that this Demon is our final opponent doesn’t mean anything good for us. On top of brute strength…
We Demons also possess the ability to siphon power from sources of negative energy to enhance our power. If our enemy here… hasn’t tapped into that power yet… Then he has the potential to multiply his energy. Or if he’s only tapped into a portion of that pool… he’ll be able to flatten us despite the numbers advantage.
Your only chance at defeating an opponent strong enough to defeat the Brothers of Natto is if you hit him with an attack of enough power to overwhelm even that, or to catch him off guard in a situation where he can’t counter: such as the Anubian’s Solar Flare which will attack his retinas and stun him for a brief moment,”} Heizen would explain to Tomina.
He hated having to reveal the secrets behind their Makyo Power, but such was the best chance their Universe had. His suggested strategy would be important for the future however. It was the only way to get Piero to step down. Catching him off guard was the more likely option considering it was five against one. He would forget about one of them most likely and get caught off guard. Heizen was of course assuming that Piero fought like he did. That Makyo Power was useful for taking out opponents stronger than the Demon, but should he find himself to be overwhelmingly powerful then it was better to be used up across multiple attacks, spread out to overwhelm vermin over time to make them use up their trump cards early. And if he was anything like Heizen then he would get caught up in the fight and make a mistake.
For all they knew he had already used up his Makyo Power to take out Komatsu and Nasu. But a pit in his stomach told him that this Demon was utterly terrifying and beyond their capabilities. Sweat rolled down his face as the Demon God of Destruction made his way to the arena. A beast he was. Even though his power could not be sensed… somehow Heizen’s feral instincts told him that this was a predator not to be provoked. If Heizen could he would find a way to hide from the fighting until he could finish gathering back his power. He just wasn’t in the position to touch this monster yet.
And even when he got his power back… it wasn’t looking good for him. {“This could very well be how I die…,”} the Demon King could not help but think to himself. He made no effort to showcase his power, leaving it calmly suppressed to be on par with the others. Maybe if he was lucky Piero wouldn’t pick him to be engaged first. The Demon King simply stood firm with the others and awaited the fighting to begin. Christopher began charging a Kamehameha, while the others were focusing and preparing themselves. Heizen merely continued trying to regain as much energy as he could as quickly as possible.
{“If you guys can manage to keep me and Bernael alive for a short while - we will be able to provide healing for you with our Demon Magic. It might give you the edge you need to pull one over on Piero,”} he transmitted to the entire team that time with his advanced telepathy. Hopefully they would be willing to do their best to allow them to recover their stamina. This type of healing would allow him to revive their stamina and give them the ability to turn the tables if Piero exhausted his own energy in the process.
For the time being however he simply waited. The most important thing to do was to disengage and let the more active and undamaged people distract his attention…

He was still very, very tired.
But it seemed like they wouldn't be able to rest; even for a short while. As the arenas immediately conjoined into a single bigger one with everyone that had survived on their side... and that abomination of a being standing on the other side with that very familiar yet much more stronger aura around him, shrouding him like a sick miasma of poison and decay.
Cervez was still laying on the floor, a small pool of sweat drenching the arena floor around him in his shape as he looked at the individual with narrowed eyes, or rather only one eye as the other was still smarting from that explosion of energy that assaulted the side of his face a few moments ago. "Out of the frying pan and into the flames..." Now after battling against the Fused Being; Spirabo and having managed to defeat her they know had to deal with someone that had the power of a God.
The mere thought made him see red, how dare a mere mortal attempt to usurp the power of a God? Judging by everything going around him, it seemed that it had been some sort of deliberated move on Universe 4's part. Possibly from their very own Hakaishin. "Does she have no honor at all? What sort of GoD gives a mortal the power of the Gods?" The mere action should have gotten her erased on the spot, perhaps even stripped of her powers from committing such a sacrilege.
He gingerly began to get up, using his sole hand and the stump of his arm to prop himself up into a sitting position, wincing as every muscle screamed at him from daring to move at all. "Dammit... I'm too weak at the moment." He needed to regain his energy, and he needed to do that fast before the Demonic Jester decided to take out the trash.
He wasn't a fool; he knew that he was incredibly weak compared to Tomina and Chris, and even Cornatto though he had sadly succumbed to his wounds so he was taken out of the fight before it could even start. He shook his head from those thoughts, now it wasn't the time to take pity for Cornatto's sake. The true battle to determine the future of their Universe was about to start, and he needed to get ready.
So he focused all his attention, his will and his anger at the jester standing before them all, to ensure that he was the only thing in his field of vision and so that no stray beam managed to flare towards the others should he attack when they were too close to dodge.

No longer active: Entity of Destruction (x42 normal) - This is a point of power that the God of Destruction of the seventh universe has reached before. A point in which their power is that of pure destruction reading high enough to surpass a Super Saiyan Three. This is something that would cause even the gods of creation to be worried. However, for the user, there is an even more mastered form of their power which will allow them to sustain this power for days at a time.
Currently Active: Innate Power (x25P) - This is a truly blessed form of pure power rising near equal to a base Super Saiyan two. It is godly in nature as the creature begins to show their true roots. Their body loses the bulk of the previous forms however and even looks younger now. They have grown slim as well but their power is clearly nothing to truly laugh at any longer.

None, but Cervez took a full turn to Aim his attacks at Piero.
— Racials and abilities being used
Creatures of Destruction - The Anubians being proudly great at destruction gain a 10% boost to their offensive attacks and a +2 to their offensive power level when they are attempting to destroy something in a rod or saga.
[BG][PT-1] Destructive Potential - The tip of the iceberg for the Destruction School. Once the user has the strength and the dominance over the destructive properties of their Ki they can begin to train the more advanced techniques. All Anubians can skip this stage since they already understand the meaning of Destruction but it's never too late to refine it to the next level. Mechanically it works by passively giving the user an x1 boost to their offensive attacks and giving most of their offensive techniques a purple-glow of destructive energy added to it as flavor.

After what felt like an eternity the battle was continue. All those who were unworthy to stand before his godly prowess, including those who were on his own team, were eliminated from contention. It was as he had wanted all along. To stand alone in the face of adversity and rise up to godhood, alone. As the fighting stages melded together, Piero stood there bare chested, his hulking form barely moving save for the breaths he took in and out. His massive back turned to his opposition, not looking at any of them but knowing they were all there. There were five of them, five remaining fighters from the "lucky" Universe 7. He took a moment, yet still did not move to face them. The commotion in the stands did nothing to deter him or take away his attention from the mission at hand, as it had with a few of the others here. Instead, after all of his opponent's had made their own presence known he chose to address them all at once, rather than signal any one of them out.
"Now is your chance to fall back and retreat if you cannot fight at your full potential. I will destroy each and every one of you by my hand, but I will prove I am a benevolent god, as well. I will allow you to not face my wrath, to not face my ultimate power and instead be erased painlessly by Zeno-sama once all of this is over. However..." His voice had a calm tone to it, a bit deeper than when they had all first laid eyes on him. With that, he turned his body to face them all now, a stern expression on his face as he glared over at them with almost cat-like eyes. "...if you are foolish enough to let your pride answer for you then look no further than to your fallen King of all Saiyans, the self-proclaimed most powerful mortal in your Universe. What I did to him will be nothing compared to what I do to you. I did not give him a choice. You all have one, and should you make the wrong one you will live our your final minutes in pain and regret. Even more so than that prideful idiot did."
His body tensed up some as that eerie, violent aura of purple energy surrounded him, slowly pulsating around his massive frame like a dark cloud. He was close to his ultimate goal, to achieve godhood in the most supreme level. He would not allow mere insects to get in his way. Piero's eyes scanned the lot of them, he would allow them to make the first move if need be. Some were worse off than others, one even missing a limb.

Nasu was brave to charge in at the opposing God of Destruction, she would give him that. There was no possible scenario where he was going to win a one on one fight with a God of Destruction though. It was a very impulsive decision that wasn’t well thought out. Although Tomina probably would have done the same thing if she was up there too, considering that her sister was the one who was almost blasted into nothingness.
Just as it looked like their God of Destruction was going to make Nasu die the second time in an hour, both of them were stopped by the grand priest. He did it almost effortlessly too. Was he the second strongest being there? She had no way of telling, other then what she could observe. Still, it meant that both Nasu and her sister were saved for the time being. Although all of that would be pointless if they lost the tournament.
Tomina’s eyes stayed on the other Universe’s God of Destruction, studying her face and watching her behavior. She looked completely spent and utterly terrified. She had seen snippets of emotion from Lagerus here and there. This was the first time she had seen a God of Destruction exhibit very clear emotions. Those were the ones that she wanted to see: the fear of being erased forever. Or whatever fate awaited her if Universe 7 won and Tomina was the one to make the wish. Whatever the case, she was scared that her side would lose. Satisfied with what she saw, Tomina turned her attention away from the spectators and back to the fight.
Tomina resolved to keep her best poker face on, despite the irritation she was feeling towards her teammate. Now that his life wasn't in danger, he was back to doing his own thing. Well, at least he was keeping the telepathic channel open.
<Test the waters?! He defeated Komatsu and Nasu at the same time! I trained with Nasu for a year and he showed me his full power. He was.much stronger then when you fought him with that Fusion form. And this demon wiped his ass over both him and Komatsu at the same time! And he isn't even out of breath!>
Everyone in the arena had to be on the same page if any of them were to stand a chance. The Spirit Bomb was likely the only thing that would be able to do serious damage to Piero quickly. Testing the waters against someone as powerful as this guy was a waste of time, at least from her point of view. If they didn't take it seriously from the start, then he could end them in an instant.
<I don’t want to take any chances with this bastard. I’m going to do everything I can to distract him. But I won't be able to take him down on my own. And without Cornatto here, you're the only other person here who can do significant damage here. I’m pretty sure slaughtering a paragon of good and the planet he’s on makes you an evil bastard, so your spirit bomb would light his ass up if it hit him!>
She wasn’t going to waste any more time trying to convince him to budge if Chris disregarded her again. If he wanted to do his own thing, then Tomina would simply coordinate with the others. If Chris still insisted on doing things his own way apart from the others, then he would likely not last very long.
One of the demons didn’t respond to her her telepathic message in any way. Although Tomina was surprised when she got a response from the other one. She honestly expected to get the silent treatment from both of the demons, considering how strained the relationship between them and the Saiyans were. She scoffed, shaking her head as he told her to focus on her opponent.
<So you’re telling me to just ignore it when someone tries to murder my sister just to hurt me? I don’t care if she’s a God of Destruction, I’m not going to let anyone get away with that shit. Well you don’t have to worry about me losing focus: I’m done talking to that spiteful bitch of a deity. Witnessing her in that pathetic state is all I needed to see.>
Tomina’s eyes widened as the demon told her a crucial piece of information that she didn’t expect. He was outright telling her about a powerful ability that the demons possessed. The hybrid knew how hard it must have been for him to share that information. He had just tossed away the element of surprise should the Saiyans and Demons ever fight again in the future. A very slight smirk graced Tomina’s lips.
<Well no wonder you’re all so damn strong. With a power like that, it’s no wonder you had representation in this tournament on both sides. Well I’m a bit of a pessimist, so I take a particular approach when it comes to the unknown. I assume the worst case scenario and treat the situation accordingly. So let's tackle him as though he hasn’t tapped into any of this negative energy pool your kind has. I doubt he could defeat both Nasu and Komatsu at the same time without doing that, but at this point nothing would surprise me anymore.>
Tomina found herself agreeing with the demon she was talking to. If things weren’t so serious, she would have laughed at the irony of the situation. In a tournament with everything on the line, the two most cooperative people on her team were a Saiyan who fought against her mother in the Alliance Empire war and a demon who probably had a role in Nakiya’s plans. By all rights she should have hated them more than anyone else in the arena. Yet here at the end of all things, they were talking as though they had been squad mates for years.
<There’s no chance of anyone on our team being able to take him on in a one on one fight, especially your group. Even if you weren’t all beat up from fighting in the other arena the only way you’d be able to possibly do damage to this guy is through combination attacks or with some type of special technique when his guard is down. Me and Chris will be the ones to directly engage them. The rest of you need to recover as much strength as you can until you’re certain you can do something. I’m actually rather impressed that this many of you survived that fusion. I was certain that at least 2 of you were going to fall to whatever monstrocity you faced, going by the energy that I sensed. Of course Carva had to die though… bah! That buffoon is never around when I need him.>
Tomina had heard him gloating from the stands earlier, so she was sure he must have played some important role in bringing that fusion down. His presence right now would have been really useful though. Without Corn in the mix she would have had another ally to fight against the monstrocity they were currently up against. She would take any help that she could get at this point, even if it did mean having to listen to Carva while fighting Piero.
The demon also sent out a mass telepathic message to everyone in the arena. He was a treasure trove of information, and was willing to work together with her. Now she knew a little bit more about what her side had at its disposal. It certainly sounded promising, assuming that her teammates were able to survive.
<Well I certainly hope you’re better at patching me and Chris up then you are at fixing yourselves. Cause look at you guys! Your opponents really put you through the ringer. That victory must have cost an arm and a leg. We’ll do all we can to keep you guys alive until you can use those techniques. Course I can’t make any promises when we’re talking about a being who defeated Nasu and Komatsu at the same time.>
The creature who looked like he was the same species as Lagerus didn’t say anything to her directly. Although his vocal distaste of the power that their opponent had was valuable in of itself. Apparently he had received this power in some way from their God of Destruction. Meaning that not only was that not a natural form that he obtained, but it meant that his capabilities would likely be similar to those of a God of Destruction. Whatever those capabilities were. Given the way he talked, he seemed to know something.
<You know something about that form he has, don’t you? We all ought to know what we’re getting into, especially since I intend on trying to make him focus on me. So spill the beans. What kind of ordeal are we in for when fighting this guy? Is there any chance I can last long enough for you guys to recover a significant amount of energy before he tears me to pieces?>
Tomina wasn’t a fool. She knew she wasn’t going to last long against him in a one on one fight, even with the gift Serge had given her. Hell, she wasn’t even sure that they could hold him off for long if Chris decided to cooperate and fight with her with all he had. Still, it looked as though that they may have some intel on that form he had before even getting into the fight. Hopefully it would be something that they could use against him.
The hybrid turned her attention over to their demon opponent. He was the last and final obstacle they would have to deal with in order to win this tournament. And already he was looking down on them. She didn’t really feel anger towards him specifically: that was all reserved for the woman who tried to murder her already dead sister Still, the fact that the toughest opponent in her life looked like a circus clown was rather annoying. She cracked her knuckles, staring Piero right in the eyes.
“That’s some impressive talk coming from a circus clown borrowing power from the offspring of a human and a house cat. Even if you were an actual God my answer would be the same. It doesn’t matter that you defeated the strongest in our universe: I’ve come too far and endured too much to give up to an asshole asking me to throw away all my principals in exchange for a merciful end. Oh this is going to hurt, I’ll give you that. But it’ll be a cold day in hell before I regret ever getting into a challenging fight.”
Tomina’s voice rang in the minds of everyone on her team. At the very least she hoped that the three weaker ones would take what she was about to say to heart. She needed Chris to fully cooperate in order for them to have chance, but having little to know impact on what he could do was a serious detriment if it continued like this. Tomina pulled back her arm, clenching it into a fist as she took a fighting stance. The ground around her rumbled as her energy began to risk, her arm glowing faintly as rubble was kicked up by the pressure of her ki.
<This is a foe beyond anything we have every fought before. Some of us are undoubtedly going to die horribly at the hand of this clown. He may have been given the powers of a God of Destruction, but he’s still as mortal as the rest of us. He’ll bleed if we hit him, he’ll get mad if we humiliate him. And we will make strike fear into his heart until he’s a quivering mess like that bitch up there. Look at their God! Even she can get terrified and fear the end! Even they can fuck up and make mistakes! She was desperate enough to loan her power to a being who will no doubt usurp her if he gets his wish! And that demon over there is only a shadow of what she is right now!>
Tomina grit her teeth as she saw the energy of purple energy emanating from him, growing steadily stronger. She could not sense it and yet could just feel the intensity of the energy coming from him. It was much like the energy that Nasu had when he had gone all out on her in the time chamber. On the pressure coming from Piero was even more intense then that. Still, she held her ground, her own energy rising up to help lessen the effects of the enemy’s aura.
<Don’t any of even think about fucking giving up! You’ve all got shit that’s important to you! Whether it’s for the people you cherish or for the sake of seeing your long term plans of killing your enemies come to fruition, we’ve all come too far now to just quit! Chris, you and I are going to buy the others time. Let’s get a good hit or two on the fucker before we all kick him into the abyss!>
Tomina’s energy burst forward, sending a wave of heat across the arena. The back of her hair had now turned red, and as fanning behind her like flames. She gathered her energy, preparing to charge up an attack to throw at him. She wasn’t going to activate the gift given to her just yet. It was something she could only use when she had to. Until that moment, she was going to keep it a surprise for Piero. She had saved as much as she could going into this fight. She wasn’t going to hold back at all against her opponent. This time, she wasn’t going to fail.

Tomina telepathically talks to Chris, Heizen, and Cervez in succession. Then mentally addresses everyone on her team.
Tomina enters her True Elemental form. New PL: 24,304,514/23,247,796
"Yeah, I plan to test the waters, I’m not going to pour out the spirit bomb just yet, it drains too much energy, and even then, it’s maybe equal to what Nasu and Komatsu were throwing out, if this guy managed to take out their technique and yet is standing here seemingly without a scratch on him. I don’t want to exhaust myself to find out how he does it. I’ll up the strength of the Kamehameha, but that’s the most I’ll be able to do. It’s too risky to launch off the most powerful and draining thing if he has some means currently to avoiding him. We’re going to just have to try and combine our attacks. He can’t possibly handle all of us at the same time.”, Chris would continue to speak to Tomina via their telephathy.
He understood why they didn’t want chances, and frankly he didn’t want to either. The spirit bomb, if they were unable to get help from the stand would be exhausting on him, it killed his energy the first time using it. He knew just how bad it would be if they were to be exhausted on energy before they could get this guy to sweat even. So yeah maybe they couldn’t rely on just smaller attacks, but they couldn’t rely on large attacks either, they would be too draining as well. If they could just buy time, maybe they could survive the rounds out.
“Between me and you, we both know one thing, only one of the people on this arena needs to stay on if we can get him off. If were part of the last three here, it’s going to be up to us to knock him off that platform, even if it requires us to bring ourselves down with ship. All we need is one person to be able to stay on this platform. That evolved form I have could help with doing it, but I’m going to have to save it for the moment we can decide on a coordinated attack. The moment I activate it there is no going back, and if I run out of energy for it. There will be nothing I can do. The form is a prototype, only meant for a temporary boost in strength at the cost of quite literally…everything. I’ve only stacked it properly with Kaioken twice, both times nearly killing me. I’ve already had to use it once this tournament, if I use it again, chances are I won’t be surviving. If I had to guess, I’d give it about five to ten minutes of energy I’d have to maintain it.”
‘Any spirits in the afterlife if you can even hear me, please…one of you lend me the energy for this Kamehameha…’, Chris would speak mentally trying to drag the aether energy out for what could possibly be one of his last Kamehamehas. “Dimensional…Barrier…. rip, Ka…. Me….”, Chris would begin saying as he would start charging a new Kamehameha…this one burning with ripened energy, his eyes glowing blue as his aura grew smoky, the destructive energy unlocked in him starting to burden free. Bernael's hand slowly lowered down by his side as he realized it was sort of pointless to try and attack the being they were up against himself. Perhaps he would be able to do a few things to assist as Heizen said. Avalon was a very powerful tool that the Demon could use to their advantage here, a bit like the Senzu Bean from before. While he couldn't do as much as Tomina or Chris, he could help one of them get back up to full strength should they lose power. It was settled, for the time being, all he had to do was rest up and get his energy back.
His eyes bounced a bit between his teammates. They were all so determined to do this it seemed, and he wouldn't let his own determination falter one bit. They were going to beat this clown into submission and win this tournament for everyone they had waiting back home. It was going to be a very rough and hard fought battle but they could manage, at least, the Demon had hope for that. Both Komatsu and Nasu had immense power for themselves, to lose in a fight against this guy? He had to be equally as terrified as the two of them combined. No pressure.
Nonetheless, Bernael stood sort of relaxed in that state now, nodding to Tomina as she told them that none of them could think about giving up. That was very much true he wouldn't allow himself to think that for but a moment, he'd rather die and lose the tournament than to just give up against this opposing force. "I'll be ready to assist at a moments notice, just make sure we last long enough to make it count." he'd mutter out to his teammates as his white aura flared out around his body in a ghostly glow. His left eye glowed yellow and his right eye glowed even brighter than normal as he stared out over at their opponent. He wasn't going to be a big help when it came to combat it seemed but at the very least he could restore one of their allies and maybe take a single hit. He just had to hope they wouldn't all die before he got the chance. Hmph. Of course the Saiyan King would rush in blindly at a God of Destruction. You would think his entanglement with this one that they were facing would be a big enough clue that he wasn’t nearly on their level yet. It would seem that even the King was all brawn and no brains, acting on power and instinct rather than logical decision. How pitiful. Heizen looked on for a brief second before deciding it wasn’t worth anymore attention. The King of All and the Grand Priest had made their decision. He had hoped for something a little more standing - but he accepted it. When his friend had made the mistake he had been erased from existence. But when these fuckers made the same mistake - they were spared and allowed to keep on in this charade. Even the Gods had double standards, and it was infuriating. “How.. frustrating…,” he muttered softly to himself.
He then felt the Saiyaness respond to his comment. He was surprised that she was willing to communicate back. He expected more huffing and snideness. Perhaps she was actually thinking with logic and reason, unlike the rest of her kind. {“You can get mad about it as much as you want. But you’re powerless to do anything about it while this tournament rages on. Unless you’d like to join Caesar in the land of non-existence and oblivion. Normally I’d be more than happy to see you go… but my own existence is on the line here as well. So your existence is needed. Possibly more than anyone else currently standing right now...
I will not be erased after coming so far..,”} the Demon King would comment softly into her mind, knowing she could likely drop the call at the drop of a hat if she wanted too. He had come so far as to become a King. He would not see himself be erased before his next ambitions could bear fruit. He would create his utopia.
Heizen hated sharing Demon secrets, especially with a Saiyan. But it was the only way to ensure victory. He had to give her the intel she needed to properly handle the situation. If they lost because he held something back, then that was it. It was over. They were done, erased, non-existent, a fleeting speck in an uncaring multiverse.
{“Very well. Even I doubt that he could have used none of it… but we’ll have to see. Though even I don’t recognize this aura of his… it’s not a natural Demon transformation for sure…,”}
Heizen surmised. This was a fresh transformation all its own. It’s aura was strange to him. But his instincts told him to be terrified. Heizen continued to breathe as his power continued to grow back slowly. She stated the obvious about his group being in too dire shape to help out against him. {“To be honest even I didn’t suspect that we’d lose either of the Saiyan brothers, much less both of them. Had I known perhaps we would have been more aggressive in our approach. Once they showed their trump card of Fusion - we were put through the ringer.
Your Saiyan Oaf had his uses. What he lacks in brains he makes up for in brute strength…,”} Heizen said, the bit about Carva being a bit snide. Even with the Legendary Super Saiyan’s full potential unlocked, he was no threat to the Demon King, who was quickly approaching the power of the Demon Queen.
{“Believe me… Had I had the time: I would have patched at least the Anubian up if not myself. But we only just finished our fight before this round… It seemed everyone in our arena had a hidden power to unlock on both sides…,”} he said with a huff. The constant power ups in their arena had been nothing short of frustrating and impossible to predict. Somehow by the end of it he ended up being the weakest in the arena. A fact which did not resonate well with the Wrath Demon.
He hated having to rely on two Saiyan hybrids to stay alive, but it was the only thing he could do. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place. It was at that point however that the Demon God of Destruction would speak up, warning them all that they would be torn apart if they did not jump off the arena now. A part of Heizen tensed up, feeling as though the Demon were speaking to him directly. He was genuinely afraid, for the first time in a long time. He was hurt, he was tired. If he got hit more than once by this guy then it was all over.
And this guy had taken out both the Saiyan King and the Saiyan Overseer. What could Heizen achieve against such overwhelming power? {“I….,”} he began to think to himself as he closed his eyes in terror. Letting fear overwhelm him entirely.
And that was when he heard Tomina’s words. Normally he wouldn’t give two shits what she said. But that sentence. She had reminded him of all the people and all the things he was fighting to protect. He looked back on the stands, specifically at Nyxosa. The little one. The child after his own heart, more precious to him than all the treasures in the world. The tiny goddess.
If he dropped out, he accepted a world where she would no longer exist.
And it was from that the Demon King felt his resolve re-awaken. His power continued to grow, his skin darkening as dark blue lightning flickered across the entirety of his form. He was getting power back. He wasn’t quite at full power yet… but he was almost there. {“I’m not asking for much! Just give me a little more time!”} he would say!
He was so close to his full power now. Back to being able to truly make a difference in this fight.
“No! I refuse to disappear quietly into the void! The Demon King’s Story Will Not End Here!!!!”

Jump off or be squashed like the bugs they were.
That was their ultimatum from the powerful individual standing to the other side of the arena, and Cervez couldn't be more than done with the man's drivel; even though he had merely been under his sight for less than ten minutes. While indeed he was annoyed at Pierro's demand, there was a respectable modicum of fear coursing through his veins at the pressure of power barring down on him.
He couldn't sense the man's power level but on an instinctual level he could feel it.
Still, his pride demanded him to stay put and glare at Pierro with murder in his eyes, the others around him feeling the same sentiment inside their souls; they were ready to keep fighting no matter the cost. After all, it didn't matter if they jumped off or decided to stick around and be picked apart one by one if their Universe lost then it was over for everyone and everything.
The voices of Tomina and Heizen drew his attention from Pierro, the Anubian giving a small snarl at Tomina for her to just demand that information like she was entitled to it. 'Fighting him head-on is suicide, Elemi. He can instantly delete you from existence should he have the powerful technique of the GoDs under his disposal. I myself managed to create a bastardized version of the technique from pure trial and error, yet it will never compare to the real thing.' As he felt his stamina coming back to him, the familiar aura of Hakai Genki began to shroud his body; the shroud having the same sensation as Piero's aura only diluted by a large margin.
An extremely large margin.
"But as Heizen said that form isn't natural. The only way he'd have won that power is thanks to the machinations of Universe 4's God of Destruction, and it is the very reason why she has no honor nor deserves to be a Hakaishin. The moment she let a mortal taste the forbidden fruit she should have been erased on the spot, if not have her powers taken away." As he said that the Anubian leveled a disgusted look at the Hakaishin, spitting to the side as he witnessed the naked fear on her face simply from being on the receiving end of their own Hakaishin's glare and power.
Then again, the two Kings of All and the Daishinkan-sama's attention being put on them also helped a great deal to put the fear of death upon her.
Serves her fucking right.
"If you fight him," The Anubian deemed that moment to speak aloud to the Elemi instead of telepathically. "Then be extremely cautious, the last thing we need is for you to die because you weren't careful." As he was speaking, all this time the shroud of energy continued to bubble and flare over his body, becoming stronger and stronger by the minute.
It was like back then, when he just began to unlock this power and yet it was different as the shroud seemed to get more condensed and thin, yet losing none of the power that kept growing and growing...

Unlocking: Entity of Destruction (x44 mastered) - This is a point of power that the God of Destruction of the seventh universe has reached before.

None had heeded his warning. Piero would had thought it a pity if he was capable of caring at that point. Instead, they all did as he had warned them not to and let their pride answer for them. The woman, Tomina, was one of the few who were quite vocal about the entire situation, as was the Demon, Heizen, who let his voice raise up in a shout against the new God of Destruction. A dissatisfied sound left him as he sucked in on his teeth somewhat. "Tsk. How unsettling. However it will allow me to let me display my full power. Live out your final moments in pain and regret, Universe Seven." His eyes scanned those that were left from their Universe, all giving each other slight looks. A single, hairless, ridged brow arched upwards at that. He did not hear anything they were saying, but figured they were talking telepathically to themselves. "Private conversations? I see." His own eyes closed somewhat, concentrating on his own telepathic abilities as they each received the same message from him, his voice burning in their brains in a low tone, almost a whisper but more commanding in nature. "Die."
His eyes burst open with that, nearly bulging out of his head as large fists clenched tightly and Hakaishin Piero let out a war cry that shook the very foundation of the world of void. "RAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" That purple destruction aura blazed around him further as his muscles began to protrude outwards, his raw power exploding suddenly in an instant without any warning whatsoever. With his new bulked up body he took off, not giving any of the remaining members of Universe 7 time to go on the defense, or so was his plan anyway.
The one who had made the most noise was his first target, reaching Heizen at incredible speed and launching his titan sized fist directly into his gut if he could. If the fist made solid impact, it would sound like a cannon going off, with nearly enough force to send his hand through the back of Heizen if possible and render the "Demon King" down for the count or worse. His words were cold and void of any real emotion through all of this, a far cry from the psychopathic nature he displayed to them all previously. "Unfortunately for you, I have a habit of dethroning the Kings of your Universe, young one."
