"I hardly see a reason to need them to train, I assure you just training in the gravity room alone in plenty enough. Now If you want a fair spar than so be it. We can have them in there with us, though even I am still struggling with x10 the normal amount. I would enjoy seeing how they fair, however." Zero jumped from off the counter, his small frame moving over to the stove. "I'm in the mood for a good steak with some sides. What do you say to that?" Zero was curious why Mac sought to bring Nameks into the mix with a spar. Did he truly think Zero was unable to withstand a simple spar with him? Perhaps Mac was hiding more than Zero thought. Either way, Zero would allow it, perhaps he was right and these slugs were indeed worthy of fighting, perhaps a few of them would even be able to become guards. Or men Echo could use. "So Mac, how long have you lived on this world, you seem to be accustom to the lifestyle here. You must have found something that kept you here instead of getting off this green planet. " Why he stayed was likely because the reason why he came in the first place. Perhaps there was ALOT more than just Mac's true strength that was unknown. Zero would find out, he always did.
"Well, they are very formidable. But, it is always good to know your friends and allies as well as your enemies. Which is why I choose to fight with them, or stand on the sidelines and watch them fight. You learn a lot about others in such a respect." Mac heard that Zero was struggling with the times ten gravity so he sort of chuckled, knowing that he himself would probably have a hard time. "That sounds like it's back breaking. Is there a times five gravity? Or does it go by multiples of ten?"
Mac asked where the steaks were and the mansion responded, pointing the hybrid in the right direction. He took the steaks out and started to defrost them. "I have no quarrel with that decision. It's been a long time since I have had steak. In fact, I've been here for almost two years now." Mac Cogadh began to think back on his past, of the reason why he came to this planet, the hardship he had on his birth planet. "Really I came here seeking allies and some form of training, but I ended up staying because of the peace that this planet has. Sure, mine is peaceful, but it's dying way before it should. Besides, I did learn a lot of new tricks while I stayed for the two years here. For instance..."
"I can speak telepathically to you, so no one can know my thoughts or what actions I plan on taking, either during a fight or in a group meeting," Mac would echo those thoughts into Zero's mind and then smile. "And there are some other things that I learned as well that I don't mind showing you later. What kind of sides do you want with your steak?"

Zero chuckled at the Question, "Well of course it does but that's far too slow. My training plan is to increase by increments of 10 until I reach 100, then and only then will the intense training start." Once Echo arrived through the higher paced sparring with taking place. He needed to stay in fighting form although he detested going anything further than a spar, he knew a show of power was as great as buying an entire company out from under someone who owned it. The two were the same for him, wealth and strength they were both means to power, a power he craved to achieve. "Perhaps it would be best for us to test the gravity machine ourselves than later we can invite the Nameks. Besides Echo should arrive soon and then we can make things all the better. " While talking to each other, Zero noticed Mac's mouth stopped moving and heard his voice within his head. While most would have likely freaked out Zero replied via telepathy as well. "Something we share in common then. I'm working on ways to enhance my abilities with this skill, simple communication like this makes it easy in a business setting where I can take advantage of information heard in a meeting and send my assistant out to act on it. "
"Oh, dear Mac my friend you have much to learn! A steak from my house is of the rarest of animals. The only side you need is a good glass of wine. Come now, I'll fetch us a bottle while you get started. If you truly wish to have a side something green would be preferred but a chef's choice. " With that Zero would exit the kitchen and go into his win room. The room had no windows, it was built in the center of the mansion on the bottom floor. All there was in there were bottles of wine from out the galaxy. Grabbing an open bottle of a personal favorite he reentered the kitchen area. Grabbing two wine classes he'd fill each one halfway after removing the cork from the top. Zero would set the bottle on the counter and float from the ground back to the countertop taking a seat, his legs were crossed as he rested an elbow on his leg as he swirled the glass in his hand. "It's from a 200-year-old barrel, they call it "Life's Desire". Apparently, it's made from these fruits that were living." Taking a small sip he let it rest on his pallet for a moment before swallowing. "Of course, Knowing the type of man you are let me assure you they died of old age and do many of test to ensure nothing harmful gets through. It's a way the planet became popular and rich and also was a way to honor the dead. Now it's just a business yet still rare and hard to get."
By this time the good should have been ready, the stoves in these homes were so advanced that evenly cooked food, allowing the best results every time. "Looks delicious Mac, I might have to hire you as a chef haha" He joked, of course, he had better ideas for Mac. WC: 538 TWC:3948 Base PL:21,559 Transformed PL: Suppression form 1 x1
"That sounds wonderful," Mac replied to both the training plan and the telepathy. He was excited, that means he could just have conversations without moving his mouth with Zero, but most importantly that he found someone else that knows telepathy. “I don’t mind us testing the gravity machine first. I have never been in one or heard of it. So I’m pretty excited to use it.”
When Mac was told that he could cook anything for himself, he decided to take Zero at his word that the steaks were rare and the finest. He continued to cook, doing what he knew best, adding sauce and whatnot. When Zero came in with the wine, the demon smiled. “Wine isn’t my thing, but I’ll surely drink with you.” He took the bottle and poured some of the wine on the steaks, to add some flavor with it. He knew that within a few minutes it would be done. He chuckled when Zero commented on his cooking. “I learned from my father and mother. Both actually loved to cook as much as they loved to fight.” The demon set the steaks on some plates and handed Zero his steak. “My only thing is that I hope that the steaks are as good as their cooking was.”
Mac Cogadh took the bottle of wine and poured himself a glass. He took a sip from it and held it in his mouth, swirling it about before swirling it. “This tastes exactly like the same exact wine that I had back on Zairne. . . Before the last battle against Il’duun.” Mac Cogadh swirled the glass of wine and looked into it, his eyes going dark as he remembered the final battle of the two-year long war.
“Two years we fought against him, and all he did was build a fortress and rape the minds of the people that lived there, making them his slaves and servants. Mindless zombies, they became as he used them to fight against us. . . But it was all hopeless...” Mac turned to his steak, his appetite almost lost. He searched for forks and knives and handed Zero his utensils, then he turned to his steak and ate it slowly, the meat almost bland in his mouth to him, but it was juicy as all can be. “You’re right, this steak is rare. It’s the best I’ve tasted.” Mac Cogadh finished the steak and then put the plate off to the side, took a swig of the wine again and leaned against the counter, looking up at the ceiling and studied it.
“My father had a nice ship. Was small, but very good in battle. It was used as a sort of beacon of hope, if you may say so. Every time it was seen above the battlefield, every soldier cheered with a victory as we slain the enemies that were before us. But our hearts were heavy because everyone we killed was a friend or a family member. Before our last battle, two hundred people passed I don’t know how many bottles of wine around and we all drank and were merry because the next day we would win our battle...
“But when the next day came and we stormed that fortress, we were met with an army that was filled with the fury that even a woman would run from. This demon was truly from Hell, but my mother said that he was not even a greater demon, a lower one, and only wanted a planet. My father and I were the first to enter into the fortress as my mother flew overhead and crashed the craft into the fortress, getting into the throne room before anyone could. She wanted the first blood and I didn’t blame her at all.” Mac Cogadh took the last sip of his wine before he poured another glass and drank some more.
“I guess he toyed with her though because when we entered he was matching her blow for blow and I knew that he wasn’t even trying. Anyone could tell, even a child. But eventually, Il’duun made a faulty move. He taunted her, sticking his tongue out at her and chuckling, to which my mother grabbed his tongue and ripped it out of his mouth. Then we saw his true power as he attacked my mother relentlessly. I and my father jumped in, trying to help, but he matched all three of us blow for blow, blade for blade, blast for blast. This went on for what seemed like two hours until finally my father couldn’t keep up and he let down his guard and was stabbed, facing his foe, and yet he was tossed away like he was nothing.” Mac’s anger began to rise, as well as his ki, slowly and matching his anger. “Fueled by anger and sorrow my mother unleashed upon that bastard everything she had, and he acted like it was nothing and beat her to the ground with just his fist. He broke her blade and her arms and one of her legs. The last thing I saw of her was her eyes, filled tears and sorrow as Il’duun snapped her neck...”
Mac stopped his story and drank the rest of his wine. “Then I knew I had to finish him off. So we fought, my rage the only thing on my side as he toyed with me and then broke my blade. Then I discovered the real use of ki as I formed a sword out of it and continued my attack, to which he feigned everything. Until there was nothing I could do besides accept death myself.” Mac looked up and stared directly into Zero’s eyes. “And he kept me as a fucking trophy because he knew deep inside what I was capable of if I ever left if I ever grew stronger. I will go back to fight him and slay him. I will go back and help the people that he has enslaved. I will mount his head upon a steak and treat his corpse like he treated my father and I will beat him like he beat my mother: like he’s the dirt under my boot that should be washed away with the blood of all my enemies that stand before me against my quarry.”
Mac Cogadh walked over to Zero, menacingly as if he had the intent to kill and seems a bit larger than before as he stuck out his hand to Zero. “You will be my partner and you will help me get better and I will do the same for you.” Once he had shaken Zero’s hand, he would talk again, “This is the sign of our friendship. Tomorrow we will train as if any day we will be fighting for our lives.” And with that, he stalked off to his bed, to calm down and turn in for the night.
What started as a happy story, showing Zero mac had a family and stayed with them most of his life, took a turn that even Zero wasn't expecting. Zero would keep eating his stake as the story unfolded. Midway through the story Zero was done, he'd have to tell Mac how good it was some other time. He'd sit back with his 2nd glass of wine and he'd listen to the gruesome story. Zero honestly felt a bit of emotion, he could understand the need to kill someone for revenge, he was feeding off of it himself. As the tale went on and on Zero knew this man had a great dark side to him, something that longed to kill and get revenge. Zero could play on these feelings, after all, he had them too. He knew though that once you gave into the hate you were gone for a long time, and it was hard to come back from that. He doubted he would be able to play the super nice friendly person for too much longer in front of Mac. He needed to form a plan that allowed Mac to dive into these emotions once more and act upon them.
"I'm terribly sorry for your lost Mac. I might not be a saint as a successful businessman but I assure you even I find this appalling." He was serious in that statement, he might have cared for money and power seeking them to rival each other but he would never do slavery and raping, those actions were of a weakling who wasn't smart enough to convince others to work for him willingly. Taking Mac's hand he gave him a smile. "Tomorrow we shall start working toward killing this demon, and we won't stop at nothing to ensure you stand over him in a victory. Partnership it is, I will fight for you Mac Cogadh if you fight for me. I feel we will help each other in many ways." After the handshake Mac seemed like he needed to calm himself, he went upstairs to bed, and Zero refilled his glass of wine. As far as he thought things were going smoothly for him. Mac wasn't anyone of importance to the Nameks here but he too was an outsider, which would mean they had something in common outside of their backstory. Yes, the ideas were starting to roll in, he needed to start a fight with a Namekian or two, get one to attack him with ill intentions. He'd lean onto the table. He knew this likely meant he was going to have to let the Namekian slug get a good shot in, but of course, Zero planned to kill him for it later.
Picking up the kitchen Zero grabbed the bottle of wine and headed upstairs to his room. "Computer, be a dear and get the house ready for sleep mode, please. And make it a bit chilly in the house tonight. Thank you, Darling. " All was in motion tomorrow the two would train, perhaps Zero would share his not so dark and vile life story. The thing Zero could relate to mac the most is killing friends and family. Another time perhaps.
