Sawa and Anzu made it into the city, it seemed the two brothers were spending more and more time apart. He wasn't sure what his brother was all about, but at least he had made some friends before in that big battle, he had never been that worried before. Sure, his entire clan was wiped out by someone stronger than those guys he was fighting with, but that Kai... She was a monster, how did she even become that strong? Was it even possible for him to reach such heights? Lowering his head he looked to his paws, he felt a lot stronger now. With all that sparring and such he had really gotten a good bit stronger than when he arrived. So far things were going as planned, he told his brother coming here would make them stronger, and they haven't even found a school to study at yet.
Placing his hands onto his head he'd walk down the street, they had finally arrived at a city, this was all thanks to that Bandit leader trying to enslave him, if not for her he wouldn't have found the map or met those really nice people. Still, he wondered what would occur once they found out he killed that woman. Rose' had trusted him to bring her in, but he killed her. In his mind, however, he was doing a greater deed than arresting them. There are no turning people like that, obviously, he knew first hand from the clan fights on his homeworld. Perhaps it was time to get a drink and enjoy himself a bit. He still had a few coins in his pocket so why not spend them, bars were good places to get intel and he might find others who like to fight and train as much as himself.
Walking down the street a bit more, he could feel the eyes on him. It might have been true that this planet had more Aliens than he had ever seen before but the looks he got made it seem like his kind were too popular here or they didn't travel here a lot. whatever it was Sawa would stay on his guard, no way would he allow what happened with that Saiyan woman happen again. Finding a nice little bar Sawa would walk in, the sound of a calming tone could be heard slightly from a radio of sorts. It had been forever since he heard music, perhaps since he was a pup, he couldn't even remember the last time. Wearing a smile Sawa walked over to the bar, taking a seat he places his arms on the bar as he rested against it.
"I'll take whatever you got that's cheap and strong"
"That's all we have here, but I got something I think you'll like. "
When the bartender return he gave him a glass with this green liquid in it. Not even asking any questions Sawa brought the class up to his snout and started drinking. It had a sour taste but it was pretty decent for a cheap drink. Lifting the class toward the bartender he gave a nod of his head. Behind him, he could hear the sounds of chit chatting filling the place. Rather than trying to listen in on any of it, for now, Sawa was worried about trying to enjoy the music more than anything.

The bar was soon to be a little distrubed, Tekla had been having a bit of a rough day, being around the size of a child compared to the giant figures of the Saiyans, giant to her point of view anyway, caused all sorts of problems. People bumping into her, laughing her off when she tried to get anything resembling work. She’d never scrounge up enough for a replacement pod let alone a new ship at this rate. It was just a nightmare for the Tuffle girl as she just gave up for the day, she’d heard music wafting out of a bar and a stiff drink just seemed like the thing to top her off and make her feel a lot better after what had gone down.
As she shoved open the door and sauntered up to the bar there were a few stray glances and a couple of chuckles from the patrons who clearly didn’t think much of a half sized person trying to get involved in their drinking experience. The bartender was the biggest problem, staring down his nose at her as she had to climb up the damn bar stool and stand on it just to be above the damn bar and stare at him. She hated her current vest and trousers, they did not give across the majesty that her full outfit had once done. Lost to the blaze that had been all that was left of her original ship. Though at least the pockets on the trousers were decent as she pulled out the few notes she had left on her.
“Something to make me forget today thanks.”
“I ain’t gon’ serve a minor.”
She slammed both fists against the bartop in frustration and stared a glare at him, she couldn’t even use the old do you know who I am line. She didn’t look like her other identity anything like enough to make it convincing, that was the problem with having a backup disguise, you couldn’t use your old reputation. Granted it probably would have gotten her killed here. The salad police force was what had brought down her ship after all. Her cybernetic eye focused on the barman a little as she shut her normal one with a sigh, metal fingertips tracing across her eyelid and forehead as she rubbed her face, just so the metal cooled her temper a little.
“Okay, I don’t have ID, I just arrived here with the clothes on my back. I am over age, an I can drink any of ya under the table because of a stupid cybernetic implant in my liver and kidneys. So I need something very strong just to get tipsy, if you don’t want my money just say so asshole.”
She wasn’t expecting this to work and as the barman’s arms crossed she realised too late what she had been missing, there were a surprising number of high powerlevels in this bar, one of them was right nearby. Some kind of wolf walking on two feet like he was people, weird. What was with this world recently? She only wished she’d had such valuable experimental materials back home. The angry little Tuffle turned in her seat slightly at some Saiyans chuckling at her plight and added.
“What’re yew looking at, huh? Never seen a Tuffle before? Huh?”

There was a little person making an awfully big scene, he wondered just the hell was wrong with them. "Just get them a drink before they blow a value would ya?" He lifted his hand to his ear that was facing the tuffle and put a pinky in it wiggling it around. "All this excitement is making my ears hurt." He looked over to the tuffle as he raised his drink, a motion of hello and you're welcome. Sawa had yet to find anyone worthy of calling friend thus far. The others he had met, they didn't really get to know each other well enough, and it wasn't like he still didn't feel the death of his clan on his shoulders. Perhaps it was best they didn't become close to anyone, Anzu and himself that was. He couldn't help but wonder, what the hell this planet was made upon. Did they value themselves on Power alone or Pride? It was confusing for an of the world who's values were family and loyalty. Looking back over to the tuffle who likely had their drink by now Sawa would chime back in. "You have the looks of someone who just crashed here, I know the feeling. Did the same myself with my brother not long ago. A pity is to lose your ship. "
Tekla turned hearing the voice of another person actually being helpful for a damn change, eyeing up the canine like creature in a moments confusion. In their travels so far they’d yet to encounter this race before, and for some strange reason this bugged her. Probably because she was already agitated as all get go. Though as the wolf raised a drink at her she sighed and just sat next to him, clearly in a grumpy mood. She’d not exactly met a friendly reaction in some time and it was vaguely refreshing so she wasn’t going to bitch him out over being demeaning since it wouldn’t have been hard to construe it that way.
“Uh huh, yeah. Got shot down over this craphole of a world and been stuck here for a couple of weeks now. It’s been a pain in the ass being a short stack on a world of strong warriors. Jeeze.”
She huffed and leaned against the bar, cooling her forehead a little against it and giving the strange woldf a faint smile before going back to looking down as her drink arrived, the little tuffle downing it rather quickly. Though she was mostly compelled to ask something of this stranger.
“So, what happened to make you guys crash then? Idiots shoot you down as well?”

His ears would twitch slightly as the nose would dapper down a bit more, shaking his head he'd relax a bit more before taking another drink. The woman would take a seat near him, which wasn't a problem. He listened to her explain how she was shot down here, he let a chuckle out. He wasn't laughing at the fact she had been shot down, but that her reaction to the people here. They likely judged her off her size a lot how the judge him off his appearance as a wolf humanoid. In a way, he could relate to the feelings of eyes and the judgment. "I see, that's shitty. Sorry, you had to deal with that and to land here haha. Oh, the Saiyans seem to be a people who care more about how strong you are and if you look like a fighter more than anything else.
Swirling the last sip of his drink in the class he'd knock it back before looking at the bartender as he brought the woman her drink. "Keep them coming." Sawa would pull his pouch of coin out and put a few on the counter to cover the next five drinks. It seemed like he'd be here a while, and after today he'd need to find some jobs to do, or just steal as he did on his homeworld."Trust me, I seen with the looks every day, they don't change. Just like how you looked at me. As if you were wondering just what the hell I was. But, I'll be honest I see a fish women, a blonde little Prince, a woman who looks like me and even a God while I've been on this planet."
The drink would come and he'd sip it. He'd take a deep breath as he was asked if he was shot down too. Shaking his head he'd look back over to the lady. "No, nothing exciting like that. My brother and I were just using these old pods we found in our father's hideout. We were actually heading for Sadal, but as we entered orbit the pods just gave out, and we crash landed in the woods. Took us a few weeks to get to this city."
After taking another sip of his drink he rubbed his snout before asking the woman a question now. "So who was after you and why were they shooting at ya?"
Tekla just sighed and nodded softly, agreeing with his sentiments that the Saiyans base a little too much on looks, she didn’t even fight directly most of the time, even in a fight she wasn’t that much to look at and it was hardly a surprise that she didn’t garner much respect from this race. She gave a bit of a grin at the comment of keeping the drinks coming. That improved her mood to no end, though she was compelled to correct him on the look she’d given him.
“Oh, I’ve met a lotta races, I’m just surprised I’d not encountered yer kind before. I travel a lot. Glad I ain’t met no Gods though, I’m betting they’d smite me without thinking about it.”
She’d listen to his story and continue gently sipping her drink, it was almost like she was worried about downing them due to her size and the strength of the Saiyan booze, though she could only grin at him at the story, giving some faint tuts at using old pods without making sure they were fully functional. Gently pulling one of her drones from her pocket she left it lightly flying circles around the pair of them.
“Ah, well I can’t say I’ve ever had to deal with faulty equipment… I make my own because I don’t trust others to maintain it.”
She gave a heavy sigh and put down the drink, cybernetic eye staying focused on the wolf while she looked down at the table, she didn’t seem much happy about that specific conversation, but she did reluctantly spoke quietly.
“I was on board a pirate ship… So the `lovely` folk on Salad shot it down.”
Sawa had just realized he went onto a story, how embarrassing. The Small woman seemed not to mind about that, she was happy to have her drink, while it lasted. "Oh you're a mechanic then huh or something of the sorts." He'd listen to her more, his drink would find it's way to his mouth as he finished it off. Sliding the empty glass forward the bartender returned with a drink for him. Sawa wondered for a moment if it was stupid to take those old pods, they had never thought to check them. He and Anzu were warriors, not a mechanical specialist. Her ending statement allowed Sawa's ears to stand straight up. His tongue would come from out his mouth licking around his lips.
"Oh? And um, just what did you do on that ship? A lovely lady like you who I can now only assume did the upgrades herself. You're an interesting one. " Extending his humanoid hand towards her, it would be seen clearly that he still had the pads on a wolf paw. His body seemed off even for his kind. He didn't have the "Dog Leg" structure to his legs either. "Name's SAWĀ SUIKA!" He was very proud of his name, it was both Saiyan and Canditie. If his hand was shaken or not after a few seconds he'd pull it back to his frame. "Well to be shot down means you guys had to have a reputation right.?"
Tekla was rather happy that this wolf seemed to be reasonably quick on the uptake. Most of the people she met seemed somewhat lacking in that regard, and she felt like she was talking to a bunch of idiots over all. Then again, she felt that way about anyone who didn’t understand any of the mechanisms on a ship. Still, maybe she just liked the guy because he was buying her dirnks and she never said no to getting free booze.
“Something like that, I also uh... Armed most of the crew with some of my tech, shield generators are highly underrated by most combatants until they have to break through one.”
She gave a dark little chuckle at that one and quietly produced a small orb from her coat, it didn’t look like much to a quick observation. But she grasped a glass and tossed it airborne, before it hit her it seemed to crash into the air a little way above her and slid down around her to the ground. The faintest of green glimmers in the air showing just where the line of the shield was. She gave a half shrug at the result and saw his extended hand. Rather than shake his hand, she grasped it and turned it back and forth with care, examining his oddities and leaning back to look at the rest of him for a moment or two.
“Uh...”
She hesitated for a bit, almost afraid to speak any further about just what the deal with the crew was. After a little while, she bit her lip and then nodded softly starting to gently rub one of her ears and then sighing.
“I was on the ship of, uh... Well, have you heard of the dread pirate Robnins? He was a bit of a nightmare, raiding supplies and demolishing other ships. That kind of thing, you know.”
The shield generator thing was nice not only was he able to see it used and how it looked he got an idea of how to the tuffle likely fought. More gear than fitness, or for now that's what he thought anyway. Not that it mattered he didn't plan on fighting this woman, nor did he wish to. It was likely just the Saiyan DNA within his blood that made him have such thoughts about people's fighting styles and such. "That is a nice thingy a ma doodle you got there."
She started examining his arm in a curious fashion, he fought it a bit rude leading him to yank his arm back instead of pull it back like he had originally planned. He turned from her and took a slip of his drink, he understood he had never been seen by some people but this was getting out of hand. Perhaps coming here to refine himself and see if he fit in here was a mistake. So far there were only a few people he cared to really see again, and right now this woman was sitting somewhere in the middle after that little trick.
She would mention some Pirate, he hadn't a clue whom she was referring too. Since he was a boy he and his clan lived out in the woods traveling often to avoid being killed. If he was some type of famous Pirate he wasn't aware. "Should I know him?" Then she would fill him in on what the Robnins person did. This didn't make Sawa feel any sorta way about the person. You did what you had to to get buy, there was nothing particularly special about the story. [font color="ad1601"And he was the reason you were shot down?"[/font] He still fished for information, after all she really didn't answer the question in full it was a bit concerning. At this time she would likely have finished her drink and he'd wave for the bar tender to bring another for her. He wasn't sure how much she could handle but she did say she had an iron liver or something like that earlier.
Sawa would look ahead of him facing forward he had calmed down a from being upset with the woman form earlier, though he couldn't help but wonder what rose and that fish woman was up too. He couldn't let the thought of that God escape his head either. She'd likely not be too happy about the fact he killed the woman she wanted to be arrested but he didn't really care. To him she threatened him and he took advantage of a way keep her from doing that to him or anyone else in the future. He also needed to start training to face that mob freak that had showed up. He had much to do, and little time to do it or so he felt. He was a bit lost without his brother's guiding hand.
Turning back his attention to the woman he would nod as to show he was paying attention and listening. Truth be told he might of zoned out for a moment. He started to wonder if this lady was a wanted criminal, and if there was a bounty on her head.
