Personality
Kuru is a wild and free spirit. Most people can find him telling grand stories to children and anyone who will listen. His motto is that all life is a story and that its told through the universe in the form of light and sound. He weave grand tales of might and heroes through the use of his magic, creating lights and music to entertain and mesmerize. If you asked him, the storyteller is greater than the king.
Kuru loves people. He likes to be the center of attention and to draw a big crowd. His showman’s talent lends to this, driving him into a fevered state of elation as his stories draw a bigger crowd. Even when alone he never really shuts up. He finds himself narrating and discussing things with himself just to keep entertained. Whenever people ask him if he’s crazy he just shrugs and tells them he might be.
If Kuru had a biggest flaw it would be that he wants to live an Epic Story. He has a burning desire to not only be the one to tell a fantastic tale, but he also wants to live it. He often finds himself in dangerous situations that he can’t really work his way through. That’s why he likes to follow Heroes, not only does he get to tell their story but they help keep him alive.

Backstory
WIf you asked Kuru he would tell you he is a Saiyan, much like everyone else on Sadala. The truth is much more complicated though. In all reality Kuru is part Saiyan, but one line of his ancestors hail from a people and planet long since gone from the universe. His distant ancestor cast a spell to save his people, sending them far away to live out the life his fellow Earthlings would not get the chance to do.
Kuru’s family has kept this secret and passed it through generation, along with the gift of Magic. Once he turned of age his father told him the truth and bequeathed upon him a gem that allows his people to channel this ancestral power. Unlike his family, Kuru had no interest in the occult or secrets so he learned to use his magic to entertain and enthrall a crowd. He left the village his family had lived in forever and moved to the capital, making ends meet by taking odd jobs and panhandling with his music and tales.
Now Kuru stands as one of the last of his people, having not made a family as would have been expected of him had he stayed home. He looks forward to a life of adventure and trail, searching resolutely for a Hero to follow and spin the yarn of their life.
