Atsuko felt Ayami's hand touch her shoulder, and more importantly the Telepathic link that opened between her and her student. The Water Elemi asked if everything was alright, and that if there was trouble, she was willing to stay behind and help out. "We're merely being cautious.", the Albino Saiyan would respond through their mental connection. "The power that's approaching the Lookout right now is one that Excalibur recognizes. And... I can sense a few odd traits about it as well. It's not very high, though we can't tell if that's because of suppression or if that is their true strength."
The Knight responded honestly. "There's no need to worry, I've been through many fights. Though I don't suspect that this meeting will result in one. Still, it pays to be ready.", the Saiyan finished her observations. She was very grateful that Ayami wanted to help, but there was no need to line up an army with weapons at the ready just to deal with one person that they couldn't tell if they were hostile or not. Besides all that, it was really too early to say if their assumptions had any basis. This person wasn't very far from the top of the Lookout at least.
Hisashi then spoke up with a question about the training weights. Atsuko smirked a little. "Well, they aren't something that you lift, but they weigh your body down more, meaning that you need to put more effort into everything you do. But the results are increased exponentially.", the Knight would explain in a calm tone of voice. After that, the Android then asked if something was wrong. "Just very curious about that approaching guest of ours. Neither I or Excalibur are very certain yet, but there's... Something about it that at least makes us want to be ready to meet them."
The Saiyan explained. It wouldn't have made much sense to say that this approaching guest was similar to Excalibur. As far as even the Albino Saiyan knew, the Sacred Sword was one of a kind in many ways. Talk of sibling swords probably would have been brought up by the woman in red herself. But even she was bewildered by the idea of there being another sword just like her. Simply put; neither of them knew what to expect from this encounter. In any case, the voice was definitely unmistakable once it spoke to Excalibur.
The Sacred Sword definitely heard it back in the training session with Ayami... When she was trying to comfort Emi and catch certain figures in the background unawares. "You... Seem to know who I am. There's something very familiar about you as well. Yes, I'm up here on the Timeless Lookout. I think we have a lot to talk about.", the woman in red replied to the giddy child-like voice. Normally Excalibur would have been just as excited, but something about this... It just made her uncomfortable. She didn't have any idea of what to expect, Atsuko didn't either.
As Durendal approached the platform everyone stood upon, her energy signature was reading a little more clearly; there was something tainted about the presence. As if corrupted somehow. The Knight's instincts had kicked in, already appearing to be more on guard. She had received a warning from the Kais, and she needed to act carefully with that information. Whoever was coming here... They could possibly be helped with the Sacred Holy Water, but would they be willing to drink it? Obviously they wouldn't be, and whoever was at their helm would be even less willing for that to come to pass.
"If something does happen, let me handle it. I still doubt that anyone would be so foolish as to try... But even so.", the Knight stated to Ayami, Emi and Hisashi. The Water Elemi was powerful, there was no doubt about that... But if a fight did break out, Emi and Hisashi needed to be protected. It would be a hell of a lot easier to pull that off if they split up their attention. Atsuko could handle the immediate threat, Ayami can make sure they stay safe. It was a pretty solid plan, but the Elemi may not have understood it without it being said.
In any case, they could already hear the faint sounds of giggling, and the clanging against the metal ladder rungs. The guest was already here! As soon as they reached the top of that ladder, they would be greeted with the sight of Atsuko and Excalibur standing in front of them. Durendal likely wasn't the type to be intimidated, however. And it wasn't exactly their intention in any case... But their curiosity had been piqued, and it was definitely time to get some answers about all of this. She seemed to have some connection to Jarvis.
That much was plain in how they had a link with Emi, who was sent by Jarvis in the first place. Even more than that, Excalibur heard his voice. But if Durendal had a tainted aura about her, what did that imply of the old friend that died in a battle not so long ago, but returned and brought an entire Empire to ruins, ushering in his own era? It... Was very concerning, to say the least. Still, the pair decided to keep all of their suspicions under wraps for now, the speculation wasn't going to get them anywhere.
But gathering proof would change things entirely.
