Mar looked around his personal world, the endless ocean flowing around the island he called his home, the gentle breeze sifting through the air, turning the windmill attached to his domicile. True, it didn't really do anything except make some sound, but it was a tranquil background noise that he appreciated. His entire world that he had created was one based on tranquility, a retreat from the chaos of the cosmos where he could reflect and hone his skills. But, for the foreseeable future, that tranquil calm was going to be broken by the coming training regime with his new Saiyan Guardian Tomoroko.
Admittedly she was far more powerful than he was, being able to achieve the powers of a Super Saiyan Three, which can be felt from even on the Sacred World of the Kais, wherever it was activated... but that power was actually a detriment to her in her current state of... well, being dead and a spirit. True she had retained her body, but the fact that she could only enter the true physical world for short periods of time at any given time, the Super Saiyan Three form burned through that energy at a far more rapid rate than any of the previous levels of power. The Supreme Kai of the East had always been curious about why that was, compared to the Super Saiyan One and Two forms which were relatively irrelevant in terms of power consumption.
For now though, he had to make some... alterations to his personal world, in order to accommodate his soon to be training and sparring partner. Whilst he worked on improving her power regulation so she could interact with the world for a longer period of time in her Super Saiyan Three form, because if they were to be brutally honest, that was most likely going to be the woman's go to form when it comes to actual combat, she would also help improve his own capabilities. The fate of the Supreme Kai of the North still weighed heavily on Mar's mind and soul, how he had just been slain with such ease by that bastard who had now taken upon himself powers he had no comprehension of.
Mar didn't know whom he considered to be the greater threat now to the stability of the galaxy. This Jarvis who now called himself Caeser who had become some sort of Brenchian Saiyan Makaioshin hybrid abomination, or the Kold Demon who had acquired the powers of the Sorcerers, or the Demon Queen who was collecting Super Saiyans for some twisted purpose. Or even the damned Anubians who had decided to start reappearing now of all times... one was bad enough but apparently there was now about three or four of them running amok in the universe. He'd asked Obsidia, his Elemi agent, to check things out on Namek and to keep an eye on the Namekian who was Kami's assistant, and he had yet to receive any word from his Saiyan agent in the Cerulean Empire. The fact that the Empire was being so quiet whilst their leader was being so loud troubled the Eastern Kaioshin greatly.
The windmill creaked away as the wind turned it on its spindle, the waves washing against the base of his island's stone. The Supreme Kai of the East let out a sigh that mingled with the wind as he let the peace of his world sink into him once again. "Right... let's get redecorating." he said to himself before looking towards the ocean surrounding his island home. With a gesture of his hand, he concentrated his power and began to raise up the floor of the ocean, mountains slowly forming and parting the waves as the Supreme Kai of the East did not cause a simple island to form nearby. No, he instead decided to form something that would survive the training regime of repeated Super Saiyan Three transformations and power collisions.
He caused an entire continent to be created. True it was nothing but sand and rock and water, but it would serve for the purposes of training... and maybe he'd get around to giving it some flora and fauna in a century or two, provided they all survived that long that was.
Whenever Tomo finally re-appeared in the after life, she felt completely drained of her energy in a way she hadn't in a very very long time. She would look around herself, finding that she had re-appeared somewhere that she didn't recognize... it wasn't the sacred world of the kai's... at least not any part of it she had seen or sensed earlier... no this area felt completely strange to her for some reason...
"Hunh... I wonder where the heck they sent me now..." She would say lowly as she began to walk on the island as she had a look around, all the while thinking of how weak she truly felt. Maybe she should try transforming, just to see how far she could go, that would be a good start right? With a confident nod, the saiyaness would bring her closed fists to her side and... nothing.
It was normally so easy to go Super Saiyan, she never had to put much thought into it anymore... but what the hell was going on now? She would inwardly focus on her power, on the anger that had driven her so many years ago, to ascend for the first time. The death of Aspa, and his re-appearance in the Saiyan Empire war. Although, even with those thoughts in mind, and her power climbing to about 10,000 and staying there... nothing happened. Not even a spec of gold on her body.
"Well... that little shit really did take it out of me! oh man this is embarrassing..." She would grumble as she rubbed the back of her head, looking around her to see if anyone had been there to watch her pathetic display of power. A light hmph escaped her lips as she continued on through the island, searching for whomever had brought her here...
Mar felt the arrival of Tomoroko, except something felt a little bit... off about her ki signature. He raised an eyebrow and went to investigate where he felt her presence, only to find her wandering around his island. It wasn't that large of an island so it was relatively easy to find her. "Ah, Miss Tomoroko. Welcome to my own personal world." he said with a sweeping gesture of his arms to indicate the entire region.
"Figured it'd be a little better to train up here than on the Sacred World. I'd actually just finished raising up a new continent for us to use, given how destructive your Super Saiyan Three form can be, just from merely activating it." he explained with a chuckle before looking at her curiously. There was something different about her from the last time he'd seen her, back when the Supreme Kai's were meeting on the Sacred World and this whole Guardian thing was set up.
"Is everything alright? You seem a little off..." the Supreme Kai of the East inquired, walking over towards the Saiyan female and trying to rest the back of his hand against her forehead, as if he was trying to check her temperature for a fever or cold. He frowned a little, rubbing his chin in thought about the situation. "Well, that's an... issue." the Eastern Kaioshin mused before sighing. "Seems you over-exerted yourself down on Earth didn't ya?" he hypothesised before rubbing the back of his head. "Can you still control your ki at least?"
Tomo stopped in her tracks as she heard the familiar voice that was Mar, the Eastern Supreme Kai. She would smile and gave a little wave as he welcomed her.
"Your personal world hunh? It's really nice, I couldn't help but have a look around. It's so strange~ Well not in a bad way or anything just unlike anything I've seen before. Oh, and please, just call me Tomo~" She would say with the same smile. She looked a million times more gentle than she had when first summoned to the Sacred World of the Kai's. With her son dealt with, and the scenario playing out the best that it could have, she was a whole lot calmer than she had been back then. She wasn't biting at every comment or radiating an angry energy. She actually felt to be rather at peace.
Whenever Mar stated that he had created a whole continent jsut for their training, and because of her Super Saiyan three form Tomo looked at him in surprise. Of course he was a god of creation but... creating a continent out of no where just for training?! That was amazing! It wasn't even something she thought would be possible. Now she was just embarrassed that she couldn't get to said Super Saiyan 3 state anymore... That was when he asked her if she was alright, and Tomo had to really think about it.
"Truthfully, I don't know... Ever since my battle with Nasu I've felt weird... I jsut assumed that was because I was in the living world but..." She paused as he walked up to her, putting a hand on her forehead as if he was checking her temperature, and this caused Tomo to raise an eyebrow. Until he spoke of course.
"Yeaaaaaah just a little bit... turned out that Nasu had the potential to turn Super saiyan 3 as well... and while I was still stronger than him, it took a lot of energy to beat him... It's weird though, right now I don't feel like I can bring my energy back up at all. The last time my energy was this low, I was 17! Man... this sucks, I worked my ass off to get my power... and now I don't think I can even unlock Super Saiyan..." The woman would say as a light pout crossed her face. She would clench her fists and flare her aura once more to try and transform, but nothing at all happened beyond her own crimson aura dancing around her body.
"Bah... yeah I can still control my ki just fine... I guess... I just don't have the power I did before, for some reason..." She would say with a sideways scowl as she glared at her hands, as if it was all their fault.
He chuckled at her description of his world, and the reaction the news about him creating a continent got him. "Well, its easy enough to do when you just raise up the ocean floor. Can't make something out of nothing, got to have the parts." the Supreme Kai of the East explained before he staged whisper. "Don't go telling anyone now, trade secrets and all." smirked Mar before she explained her current situation with her power and how her fight with Nasu had went.
"Well, good news then. It's not delayed onset ki disorder. That would be a tad... problematic if it were that." he said, rubbing his chin as he tried to consider what could have caused this phenomenon. She had said that her son went Super Saiyan Three as well, and their powers collided with one another when they'd fought... he blinked as a theory came to him. "Where exactly did this fight take place?" he asked her, pondering over the scenarios in his head.
When she had told him, he would rub the back of his head. "Well, and this is just a theory mind you, but it's possible that when the two of you were colliding your powers against one another, in your Super Saiyan Three forms, that someone was either just going into or coming out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber that resides in the Lookout." the Eastern Kaioshin hypothesised. "That dimensions always been a bit on the tricky side, so its possible that when you began to fade after using up your power, some of it was accidentally diverted into the unique properties of that realm, thus reverting you to an earlier state of power perhaps?" he suggested, really unsure as to what caused this.
He shrugged his shoulders. "That or your body decided to give out on itself after the strain of facing off against another Super Saiyan Three in the living realm when it had to deal with not only the stresses of the form, but also having to contend with the whole Afterlife time thing." said Mar, shrugging once more and rubbing the back of his head. He really had no clue as to what could have caused this to happen, but the fact that it did happen made him a little concerned.
"That's still amazing! It's like a whole different kind of power I can't even begin to understand. I mean, it's not like you're throwing ki blasts at the ocean floor to get it to rise. huh. How did you do it?" Tomo was a curious girl by nature, a trait she inherited from her mother. However unlike her mother, she never applied it to learning anything but martial arts. Whenever he asked her not to tell anyone, she would just laugh lightly before explaining the details of the fight.
That was enough for Mar to make an assessment as to what WASN'T wrong with her at least... and she was thankful she didn't have any kind of ki disorder. Not only would that be problematic, it would just outright suck. She might have been weaker than before, but at least she could still fight... somewhat... she could still fight right? She would once more glare at her hands, only to be disrupted by another Question from MAr, asking her where the fight took place.
"Uh... last I remember it was called Korin's tower, the base of the timeless lookout." She would say with a curious look on her face. Once more, Mar made an assessment of the situation, and this time Tomo couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as he explained everything, as if she understood everything he was saying.
"Uh... maybe? Whatever happened, I'm not just going to sit at this power level forever. There's no way. I"m going to get my power back, even if it means starting from the ground up. Hehe, at least this means you'll be able to keep up with me, Supreme Kai." She would say with a devious, teasing grin on her face. She wasn't stupid, she could sense Mar's power level and knew he was much stronger than she was in her current predicament, but that didn't matter right? She needed to have some sort of fun, Natto wasn't here for her to tease after-all.
Mar rubbed the back of his head, chuckling a little as the Saiyan Guardian really did seem impressed at the whole continent creation thing. "Well, every world is made of plates of earth and stone, each one constantly shifting even if we cannot see them moving." he explained. "A continent is just a plate that's on the surface of the water, the molten core of the world rapidly cooling in the water to form solid stone and earth, providing the under-layer of the continent." he said, collecting a small mound of dirt from the island into his hand, twisting it and shaping it as he spoke as a sort of visual aid.
When she mentioned him being able to keep up with her now, he could only roll his eyes and chuckle. "Maybe for now, although if your eldest children's rate of power growth is anything to go from, that gap between us will no doubt be swiftly vanishing." the Eastern Supreme Kai commented before he sighed and looked out into the distance. "Both of them have reached the Super Saiyan Three form... its one of the very few transformations we can feel activating from the Sacred World." he informed her.
Tomoroko crossed her arms as she looked at MAr intently, listening to his description of the formation of a continent and nodding intently. She looked so serious as she listened to him, though in quite the ridiculous way... It was clear by her expression that she still didn't quite understand what he was talking about, though made an effort to make it look like she did.
However, when he brought the subject of their training back up, she would instantly lose that ridiculous expression as she would smirk towards the Kai.
"Well! That just means you're going to have to train as hard as me so you can keep up then, won't it! ... hold on, did you say Kimiko can transform into a Super Saiyan 3 as well? Wow! She's really growing up fast! I can't believe that she did it on her own!" Tomoroko would say excitedly! She couldn't help but feel a little sad though... Now that Kimiko was a Super Saiyan 3, it meant that Tomoroko had literally missed everything in her daughters life... all of her major accomplishments, her first transformations... She regretted handing her over to Micaela all of those years ago,a nd had even come to hate her for it... while she had understood the reasoning for it back then, she had every intention of going to get Kimiko back after the Alliance-Empire war...
" Damn... Well! You said you created this place for some training right!?" The saiyaness would ask, trying to pull herself out of that train of thought rather quickly.
"The issue isn't so much when your daughter achieved her Third form... it's the where that has me concerned." he said, a frown written across his face. He looked towards Tomoroko as he spoke. "She was in the Demon Realm when she first used it... and that..." the Eastern Kaioshin said before spitting on the ground.
"That abomination created by the Earth's Dragon Balls was there as well. I could sense his energies when she clashed with him down there." he said, clenching his hands tight into fists, his face contorting into a grimace. "The bastard that killed my brother. He's in the one place I cannot reach or see unless something dire is afoot... not without limiting myself." the Supreme Kai of the East said before he suddenly fired off a blast of energy into a distant mountain, taking out a chunk of it.
His Guardian pulled him from his stupor with the talk of training, rolling his shoulders as he nodded slowly. "Aye. Training." he said before gesturing towards the vast continent. "Ladies choice of venue. I'll follow your lead on this, since you understand Saiyan training tactics a bit more than I do." he said. "Eastern Supreme Kai remember? Vegeta and Natto are the North." said the Supreme Kai of the East as way of an explanation.
"Yeah... I know she's there... but if my boys can get their shit together fast enough, I'm sure they'll find a way to rescue her, and hopefully leave a large enough dent in the demon realm to keep things quiet for a good while, if Kimiko hasn't done so first." She stated rather confidently, though her face went serious when he mentioned that she had to fight someone powerful to kill Mar's brother, the Northern Kai. That was this Caesar wasn't it? Ruler of the new Empire?
"Is... Is she alright? She didn't die... did she?" Tomoroko asked hesitantly, she couldn't sense them anymore... hell she couldn't even sense Mar standing right in front of her let alone Kimiko in whatever Dimension she was in. She grew uneasy as she thought of her daughter potentially dying, about ready to make a break for the check in station. She was quick to calm herself down though. She needed to believe in her daughter, believe that she was powerful enough to handle herself, especially with such a powerful transformation at her disposal.
"That reminds me. There was a Saiyan boy from my faction who mentioned hosting a galactic tournament... this would be in hopes of drawing out this guy, as well as the Demon Queen. the Alliance would go in under cover so no one could recognize them, and hopefully deal with the issue right then and there. Personally, I thought going to war with the Cerulean Empire was a safer bet, but they were wondering if maybe this was something the Kai's could do? Set this tournament up as a trap." Tomo would state before lifting herself up into the air. The two could talk while they trained... now more than ever she needed her power, so she needed to train extremely hard!
She would lead the way towards the island that Mar had created, looking about at the vaste variety of terrains and chuckling softly. Most of it she didn't recognize... it was like the planets in the Eastern Quadrant were nothing like the ones in the North. Still though... a barren wasteland was a barren wasteland. She would land in the strange sand and turn to face the Supreme Kai once more.
"Generally, a good spar will get the heart pumping, and it makes it easy to talk at the same time." She would instruct the instructor as she braced herself into the Soy School fighting stance, standing at the ready as she waited for Mar.
The Eastern Supreme Kai shook his head at her question concerning her daughter. "As far as I can tell she's still alive... but sadly that's as far as I can tell, since she's Earth's Guardian, and well," he said with a gesture to himself, "Earth's in the North." Mar explained before raising an eyebrow at her question about setting up some sort of tournament trap for Jarvis and his demonic allies. He rubbed his chin in thought over the situation.
"The only issue would be how." the Supreme Kai of the East stated. "My predecessor took advantage of one of Earth's tournaments in order to locate Majin Buu in an attempt to stop that monster from waking up... but that's a different scenario than the one we have here." he said with a sigh and a shrug of his shoulders. "It's something I'd need to properly consider... although for a trap like that to work, it would need some serious bait. A simple tournament's not going to appeal to his ego and draw him in." said Mar before he followed behind Tomo to her choice of training location.
He saw her quickly take up a stance that he presumed was the regular Saiyan stance, or something along those lines, before he took up what appeared to be a basic stance of his own. His hands were brought up much like a boxer's, except for his left which was brought out slightly forward compared to his right which was kept close to the chest. His legs were set in an L-shaped stance that gave him a slight crouch. "Maybe for Saiyans who tend to fight all the time from what I've seen and heard." the Eastern Supreme Kai quipped with a smirk at her comment about easier to talk at the same time.
Tomo would give a light sigh of relief to hear Mar say Kimiko was alive, even though he wasn't a hundred percent sure, he should be able to tell if she was in the afterlife right? No doubt that would be easier for him than to sense into another quadrant of the galaxy. She wondered if she'd be able to find a way to check up on the situation with her children... a crystal ball or something like the one back at the tournament would be nice... she really wanted to know what was going on down there. She hadn't worried about her kids since they died, knowing that they were alright (well, assuming), but now that she knew what was going on, it was becoming a lot harder to let go of her living life... she caught herself wishing to go back... She would shake her head mid flight to push the thoughts out of her mind before landing and looking back to the Supreme Kai who was now pondering the idea of a tournament.
"Perhaps it's something to discuss with all of the Supreme Kai's? I imagine this threat isn't going to stay in the North if it goes unchecked, so it might be something for all of them to have a say in?" She would say, lowering herself into the Soy school style which was much lower to the ground than Mar's as it was built to deliver quick, brutally powerful blows. She couldn't help but give a smirk as he noted how it would be easier for a race that prided itself on their martial prowess...
"Well Supreme Kai, maybe this in itself will be some good training for you then." She would say as her fists began to glow a bright red color. Thank god that worked, or else Tomo wouldn't really know what to do with herself... so she could still fly and use her ki offensively. That was a good start! She would fuel as much kia s she could into her glowing fists before darting forward from her position with... not so blinding speed. She would attempt to close the gap between herself and Mar, aiming to punch him in the gut.
"For this tournament, you could probably put up some really cool prizes. These guys sound greedy and will no doubt need money and resources to accomplish their goal. Find a way to get those as prizes for this tournament, which would also attract the attention of other fighters across the galaxy." Tomo would say mid swing, hit or miss she would continue talking, steeling herself for what reaction Mar might take against her.

"Problem is," began the Supreme Kai of the East, "is that no new North Supreme Kai's appeared yet, South Supreme Kai's nowhere to be seen, and so that leaves just myself, Western Supreme Kai and the Grand Supreme Kai, whom I suspect is about to go for another one of her hibernations." Mar ruminated with a sigh. Of course, Tomoroko managed to get his mind back on track for what they were currently here for when she began to charge her ki into her fists.
When she made her charge, he could immediately spot the difference between her present state and what she had been capable of before her fight with her eldest son on Earth. The Eastern Supreme Kai simply moved his right hand down to block the gut punch before throwing a sharp jab with his left, aiming for her nose and at the last minute, his fist turned into a simple finger flick. It was something he remembered hearing about from the last time a Deity type being had sparred with a Saiyan.
True, he didn't hold anywhere near the same level of power as the God of Destruction, but there was no better way to make a Saiyan determined to improve themselves quickly, than to infuriate them, or give them a higher power to strive for. That and it would no doubt confuse and perplex her.
"The only prize I can think that someone who rules an entire planet and has his eyes set on galactic conquest would be the Dragon Balls... and Earth's ones are currently defunct since neither the Kami or the Namekian responsible for them are on Earth anymore, and Namek's ones aren't active either, last I looked at any rate." the Supreme Kai of the East said with a shrug, returning to his combat stance.
"Well, I don't mean to sound presumptuous or anything, but what if you taught me how to use that Telepathy stuff?" Tomo would ask, just as her fist should have connected. However, Mar easily side stepped her and she couldn't help but huff, ready to twist her body into a back kick. However, Mar's fist came flying towards her face and... flicked her? The woman did in fact look confused as she raised an eyebrow, reaching up to swat his hand away from her face before her curious look turned into a frown.
"With Telepathy I could keep an eye on things in the North since I'm from there. At least until a new Supreme Kai shows up. And you knoooooow! You could have at least punched me!" She would say as she took an aggressive step towards him again, this time bringing her guard up and attempting to kick him with a side kick that was still infused with her Atomic Strike.
"I wouldn't offer up the Dragonballs as prizes... that's just asking for trouble... but people are greedy, zeni is always alluring in large quantities. If you're aiming for an Empire, offer up supplies! Advanced medical chambers the like we haven't seen before, or even gravity chambers that still affect those as powerful as I was. " Tomo began to suggest mid kick.
"The problem with teaching Telepathy to the degree you want to use it," the Eastern Supreme Kai began to say, "is that it goes hand in hand with your own ability to sense energy." he said with a shrug even as she began to move into a new attack against him. He simply held up his hand and suddenly a sharp blast of wind erupted towards Tomoroko. "And as for actually teaching you telepathy itself..." said the Supreme Kai of the East, rubbing the back of his head a little nervously, much like a young child caught by his mother with his hand in the cookie jar.
"I... don't exactly know how to." he admitted. "Least not the variety that can be taught that is." Mar quickly explained. "The kind of telepathy that the Kai's have is an innate one. We've always been able to do it since we're born, much like pure Saiyans are always born with tails, and turn into those giant monkey's at the sight of a full moon." he said before a thought came to him. "Err... you can still control yourself in your giant monkey form right? Given your current conditon I mean..." he asked her. Whilst he could probably more than handle her in a raging giant monkey state, he'd rather not. It had taken him quite a while to make this world just the way he liked it...
He thought about her words and just smirked. "True, I could have... but where's the fun in that?" he asked her, tapping his chin before snapping his fingers. "I know something that should help out with this training." said Mar before he closed his eyes. In a brief flash of light, where there had once been a single Supreme Kai of the East, now there were two of him! "There we go," said the one on the right, who floated off to sit on a nearby rock, whilst the one on the left took up a fighting stance, "now the power gap's a bit more achievable. A much fairer training session wouldn't you agree?" the second Mar finished.
"On the whole prize front... those may work for a regular despot, but we're talking about someone who has given himself the same powers as myself and the other Kaioshin." said the Mar that wasn't fighting. "Albeit a twisted version of them due to the influence of the Demonic Waters polluting his body..." admitted the Mar that was going to be fighting.
Performing two actions since PL is more than double that of Tomo's
Used "[OT-1] Kiai: Mar thrusts his hand forward, generating a rush of wind to damage his foe" against Tomo's Atomic Strike
Mar's Kiai PL: 15,483.5 vs Tomo's Atomic Strike PL: 2500 = 12,983.5 victory for Mar
and then "[ST-1] Cloning: By focusing on his body, Mar's able to split himself in two, usually for some self-training/sparring [Halves his PL to create a duplicate of himself]"
