Backstory: Many different species inhabit the universe, and the each have their own strengths as fighters. Many believe combining these traits will produce the ultimate warrior!
Abscis was the brainchild of a cadre of Sayian scientists operating in a remote area of Planet Natto, who intended to create a series of biological weapons to utterly devastate the competition if war ever again shook the Alliance. The leader of the project, Coliflo, dreamed of a line of biological terrors that would be able to turn any crushing defeat, into a later victory! This would be accomplished by letting one of these warriors loose on the battlefield, letting it absorb friend and foe alike! No warrior could ever stand against the power of a thousand, right?!
Unfortunately Coliflo's glowing presentation didn't score many points with the funding committee, and the Project was shuffled from hearing to department to hearing as it was manipulated for personal gain. Coliflo's men toiled on with the limited resources they possessed, forcing or persuading every scientist they came across to contribute their own knowledge to their grand project. Endless vials of blood and cells lined the walls of the laboratory, and were slowly expended as they were oh so carefully inserted into the growing larva.
The project was close to it's fruition when it faced it's first combat test. A swarm of androids descended upon the complex, and began slaughtering everyone within sight! The young creature within the incubation tank stirred as the sounds of ki blasts and flesh contacting metal replaced the quiet, calm atmosphere it was used to. And then, to top off it's new feeling of irritation, stinking, sweating Sayian warrior backed their way into the lab, taking heavy casualties as they attempted to stave off the mechanical assassins.
They fell quickly.
The androids grabbed the incubation tank, and ripped it off it's hinges, and carried it out into the dust-strewn landscape of Planet Natto. Before the larva could form a coherent thought about these new experiences, metal shethed the outside of his incubator, and the space pod was launched into the cosmos. What was it's destination? Planet Earth

Roleplay Example:
A gradual thumping noise gradually stirred the slumbering Abscis to full combat readiness. Of course, it was not as much sleeping as it was a brief hibernation, since Abscis had little else to do but wait. The cramped confines of the pod seemed to exemplify how trapped and helpless the larva felt, flying through space with no indication of how long the journey would take, or even if he would survive it. For all he knew, the androids could have plotted a course into deep space, or towards the center of a sun. He hungered for flesh to absorb, and WHEN WOULD HE BE FREE?!?!?!?
If the larva could move, he would have started at the sudden roaring around him, as well as the intense heat suddenly making it's presence known. From it's genes, and it's imprinted data, Abscis knew that these were pretty good signs of an atmosphere, which meant that he could hunt! Bubbles rose to the top of the incubation tank, and his talons began to scrape against the inner surface of the tank.
The spacepod hit the ground with a heavy crash, driving snow and dirt high into the air. The shock wave caused trees to groan and animals to scatter, and for a half-second, the only noise was the scared flapping of birds. Then, a huge explosion of ki exploded from the epicenter of the crash, and Abscis was finally free! He shook the excess fluids of his claws and head. Abscis chittered in a strange insectoid dialect, and began to dash through the trees. He had detected a warm, bright ki not too far from his current position, and he needed a snack after such a long journey in space. The bio-terror jumped into the air, and began to leap from tree to tree like some kind of demented ape, intent on his target.
The lumberjack never saw it coming. One second he was swinging his axe at yet another tree, and then it was forcefully stopped by a clawed palm. The man let out a starled oath, and began to form a ki blast when Abscis, quicker on the draw, blasted him through the chest with an attack of his own, launching the lumberjack's limp body against a neighboring tree. Abscis strolled leasurley forward, and impaled the man's chest with a specialized blade that popped from his wrist, and began to feed on the man's life essence.
