"The problem was that even saiyans that joined the alliance still had the mentality of Empire Saiyans. conquering is what we've been trained to do our whole lives on planet Vegeta... Low class like me had to fight enemies and allies to rise in ranks just to have a better life for our families. It was going to take time no matter what, and the Empire didn't really give us time to change... We were thrown into constant battles with them... and you're right, a lot of people suffered for that. Hell... I lost a son because of the Empire's expanse..."
she said with a light sigh escaping her lips as she tugged the shark up onto her shoulder to have a better grip on it.
She would smile at the boy as he took to the air after her. There really was more to him than met the eye... he knew a lot that the Earthlings didn't, and his familiar presence still drove her crazy. Just who was this kid, and why did she feel so calm around him? He continued to talk though, sounding rather intelligent as he spoke about the Alliance and how he saw its flaws, and where they might be able to improve. She looked rather thoughtful as she let his words sink in as they flew through the sky towards Citadel city.
"Maybe you're right... but I think saiyans without a leader, or leaders, is more horrifying than the Empire... I can't imagine a bunch of Empire miso's running around the place. It wouldn't make for much of a society. Honestly I think that might be worse... at least for us. Heh, I guess on one hand, other people suffer and on the other hand, we do. It's been hard to balance that, and I think Komatsu is finding that out too. I think he's on the right track though... he's trying to keep our ideals alive but approach the situation with a different angle. I don't think he actually plans on leading the new alliance per se... but it might be interesting for you to talk to him, you seem to have a good head for this kind of stuff."
she said still with the same smile. She hadn't noticed how fast the two had started to go, eventually landing on the outskirts of the city. Still holding her shark, Tomo figured most people would be rather afraid if they saw her roaming the streets... so she figured she'd made a pitstop at the Stargazer and stuff the shark into their cold box.
