It was weird, being given the option to choose between doing nothing and being given stay at some... lab place, and then just cleaning it herself and going on her merry way. Vepar squinted at Demalia as the other being shot off with her money, red eyes focusing on the girl whose own eyes were closed shut. Judging from that girl's reaction to the painting initially the former would be a more interesting route. Despite her own loathing of the word and idea of 'lab' she couldn't help but wonder how the two of them would go about cleaning the demon's mess. She'd wait for the man to come back with scrubbers and washers before smirking between the two.
"You should care, Demama! If it weren't for that man and others like them I wouldn't be nearly as conspicuous with my works of art. It's not like I don't do them for no reason; Well, mostly. Tell ya what girl, I'll tag along with you into this lab place you've got if you can manage to stomach cleaning the thing yourself! At that point I'd be one hundred percent willing!" She'd proclaim with a laugh, putting arms on her sides and giving a more drawn out chuckle like the last. If it weren't for the extremely powerful girl in front of her she'd probably mess with her more than just verbally, and not everything she said to them seemed all truthful. She was experienced in lying but was proficient at best.
"Just no body stuff, ya got me? And if it's too far out I can't go. Ya know, the blinking thing in my neck will go off and that'll be even worse than being caught doing this. Maybe you can treat me to whatever it is you've got there! Oh, I do have some work I do in the mornings though so... let's get a move on if you want your money's worth~" Demalia
Demalia put her hands of her hips, looking at the other hybrid sternly. She knew that this person was trying to get out of doing work that was rightfully her mess to clean up. Although if she didn’t at least compromise somewhat, she wouldn’t be able to help this person reform. That didn’t mean she was going to completely let her off the hook.
“I don’t like the idea of you getting out of a hard day's work, but I’ll agree to that on a few conditions. First of all, I want you to always hold onto that bag of yours. No tossing it away or making any sudden movements of it. Secondly, I’m going to take a video of you with my cell phone in front of the graffiti you drew, explaining that you were the one who put it there and that you cleaned it. Lastly, coming back to my lab is a certainty, and is not up for debate. It will be worth your while to do so though. Now then, let's head beck before they fix in on that tracking device of yours. I want to walk back with you in between me and Thimble.”
Demalia walked over to Thimble, taking the cleaning supplies out of his hands. She leaned forward and whispered to him quietly.
“We’re heading back to clean things up now. Be on your guard. This person is a shrewd one.”
Demalia got in line behind Vepar, making sure to stay rather close to the vandalist. Suddenly it occurred to her that in all the confusion, she hadn’t asked one important thing.
“What’s your name? I’d like to be able to call you by a positive term for once. I don't want to keep on calling you things like “criminal”. It just seems wrong to degrade someone like that constantly.”
Vepar had to roll her eyes at the girl and shrug her shoulders, brushing off the bag and.. well, she had to get the paint can that was still spilling out and disposed of. There were garbage cans around, surely...
"Sure thing butter cup. Paint's ruining all my stuff though. Let me just put it aside here. I don't do camera, nuh uh. I'm not taking video of my dumb face next to that even dumber looking image I made. I'd much rather you, like, clean it up in a jiffy so other random morons like yourself don't wander in and know more than what they need to. If you lab has the weird experimental stuff on tuffles and the like then I don't want part of it, but... ehh, should be fun otherwise." She'd cooperate for the most part, holding the bag in a hand after she dumped he paint and moving to be in between the two escorting her. One would note, at just a walking speed she was jittery. Always needing to pace a bit in her step or move an arm or leg to stretch. The question to be had certainly got her attention as she glanced on back towards the bespectacled girl with a grin.
"Why's it degrading? 'Tis what I am and love to be. Makes it better when the people are absolute assholes, but... Well, love, you'll do just fine pestering. It's Vepar. Might've heard of me before if you're any bit familiar with underground stuff." She'd give the girl that much with a no joke grin on her face, turning back to face Thimble's back side as she was escorted. Something seemed to egg at the back of her mind though as she kept on going back down towards the alley they left. Ever since she saw just how tall she was compared to the demon herself...
"Say... you're not tuffle, are you? Don't think they come jumbo sized. You don't look like a saiyan either, so what's the deal?" After the question she'd whistled a couple of time and swing the bag almost tauntingly at her side. Facing forward like she wasn't causing any trouble. Hoping to prod at the girl even more than she already had.
Demalia became visibly uncomfortable when Vepar brought up her lab in the way that she did. This person seemed to be implying that she could possibly be someone with unethical principles. Demalia stopped in place, motioning for Thimble to do the same so that Vepar wouldn’t get ahead of them. She closed her eyes and adjusted her glasses. Demalia rarely had any emotion remotely close to anger, but this person was pushing all the right buttons to make her cross.
“You have the audacity question my motives? What kind of stupid, immoral person do you think I am? If I don’t have visual evidence, then you can just easily blame me for putting up those ugly drawings. I’ll just turn you in right now if you don’t agree to my terms. I will delete all the evidence against you once we’re done cleaning things up. I don’t intend on extorting money or favors out of you.”
Demalia did understand the reluctance on this person's part not to want to be recorded in anyway. She probably had a considerable amount of negative experiences involving recordings and cameras, given that she had been to prison at one point. Still, Demalia wasn’t going to let herself be caught off guard by this individual.
“I am a real scientist. I follow all the proper procedures, codes and rules. I conduct all my research and experiments ethically. I wouldn’t subject anyone to experiments against their will. So I’d appreciate it if you stopped painting me as a madwoman who kidnaps fellow Tuffles and conducts horrific experimentations.”
The trio got moving again after that. Demalia was irritated at the person being escorted, but she didn’t let it show. Although they probably could have picked it up going by how she had responded to Vepar. Perhaps the reason this person was getting on her nerves so much was because she didn’t seem to want to do anything in an orderly fashion. In fact, she seemed to embrace being some kind of outlaw. This time Demalia managed to answer without sounding annoyed.
“Well, simply labeling someone in a negative connotation isn’t right. People are much more than just a single phrase. Just calling you a criminal would be insulting, since there’s more to you then that. I don’t know what is there, but something is there. Labeling like that also leads to mistreatment. I’ve never heard of you before, but whatever you’ve done, you must have your reasons for doing them.”
It looked as though Demalia was going to be doing some research once she got back to the lab. She didn’t often pay attention to criminal activities going on, so she would have to acquaint herself with it in order to understand Vepar better. She caught Demalia off guard when she questioned her about her heritage. Her nonchalant mood wasn’t putting the hybrid at ease either. She seemed way too confident for someone who was in the position she was in.
“I’m half demon, half Tuffle. I was born on this planet and raised as a Tuffle though. I build machines with the skill that other Tuffles possess, and am as smart as any other Tuffle scientist. Being partially something else doesn’t make me better or worst then other Tuffles.”
A few minutes later, they made it back to the alleyway where it all began. Demalia pressed a few buttons on her scouter in preparation for recording. She motioned for Vepar to move over to the graffiti they had sprayed on the wall. Hopefully this would go off without anything going wrong.

Thimble would look over to the two, frankly, this whole deal has quickly accelerated out of his level of expertise, sure he could try and help but he couldn't help but think that anything he could do would either help an insignificant amount, or not help at all. Thimble would sigh out, walking with the two as he stood quiet, hands in his pockets. It was strange, it honestly felt like he was just being pulled along for the ride, he wasn't mad though, even if what he was doing was pretty much just standing around and looking pretty.
Thimble would exhale as he looked around, the sights seeming especially uninteresting that day, however a nice flower did catch his attention, if only for a bit. Though when he heard Demalia talking about being a scientist, his interest was piqued. However he didn't say anything about it, electing to remain quiet and looking pretty.
They'd finally reach the alleyway, Thimble would scratch at the back of his head as he eyed the distasteful piece, muttering comments under his breath, "I don't consider myself a art critic, or to even understand art, but yeesh." He'd stretch his back out as he stood upright, looking at the graffiti once more before turning to Demalia and then turning to the "Artist" herself, Vepar... What a strange name, whatever, didn't matter now, he'd scratch at his chin, hoping that everything would go without a hitch. WC: 241 Demalia Vepar

The reaction she got from her accusations were PERFECT. She'd halt just behind the girl and watch her put up the most intimidating act one schoolgirl looking scientist could. She would have to excuse the demon as pretty much everything she said was met with a smirk that was containing a burst of laughter behind it. Although Vepar did good to not laugh outright she seemed thoroughly pleased with this outcome. Did she just... do that to be an agitator then? It was hard to say, but easy to say yes due to her reaction.
"Alright sweetie. No need to get your panties in a bunch! Haha! Hey, i never said you were stupid, so don't blame me for those words! Besides, do I LOOK like the kind of gal to blame a little goodie good like yourself? Don't bother answering that, I've got an inkling I already know the answer. You know what? Bloody kais, I'll pose for the best picture of your life. Just because I know someone so malevolent wouldn't take as much offense as you did, now come along!" She became quickly peppy, waiting for them to finally march her all the way to the crime scene. Her beautiful creation was about to get usurped by soap and scrubs! Curses be to these two, she'd take another good look at her work and smirk to herself before, as said, getting in front of it. The answer to her race thing piqued a bit more interest. Never would she have guessed demon was in that blood. Starting a pose up against the painting that might be a bit... too... raunchy, she'd look back at demalia and eye the girl up and down.
"Demon, huh? You look mighty nerdy and law abiding to have that flowing in your veins. Maybe me being of the same blood demonstrates how crap this government is, huh?... Can it stayyyyyyyyyyy? Pleaaaaaase? It has its reasons for being here!" She'd appease jokingly, trying to flutter her eyelashes a bit at the both of them before the girl could try taking any pictures just yet. Or forced to make a less comical and lewd pose. Whether it'd work or not didn't seem to be her goal. Like the other question she seemed to be out to get a reaction again. Glowy eyes filled with amusement.
Demalia was trying her hardest to keep calm and in control of the situation, but it was Vepar who was setting the pace of things. Demalia was the smarter and more tech savvy of the two, but Vepar was considerably more witty than her. She was dancing circles around her in their conversations. A vein twitched on Demalia’s forehead as they made their way back to the painting on the wall. All she had to do was take a simple picture before cleaning up the graffiti. Although once again, Vepar found a way to complicate matters.
Demalia‘s face slowly turned red at the site in front of her. Vepar had chosen a rather questionable pose for the picture. It was clear that Vepar was aiming to get another reaction out of the Tuffle hybrid. The blush on her face was a clear indicator that she was succeeding.
“What kind of species you are doesn’t matter! We’re all living beings! Being part demon doesn’t mean you’re predestined to turn out bad! I’d be terrified if our government decided things based on those criteria! Which it doesn’t!”
Demalia closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. She needed to get a handle on things And at least keep her composure. Which was very hard to do. What Vepar had said reminded her of how Onnato treated her when she encountered him. He had immediately judged her for what she was, and had condemned her for it. Based on what Vepar had just said, was that the norm for anyone who had Demon blood in them? <This is the second time I’ve heard someone say that demons aren’t meant to be good. It’s less on the nose then what Onnato said, but this person finds it weird that I’m a law abiding citizen. Why do people assume the worst of me when they realize what I am?>
Demalia opened the eye that her scouter was covering, raising her finger and quickly snapping a picture of the vandalist. She had considered insisting on her getting out of that provocative pose, but Demalia decided to just take the photo to avoid another fight of wills. Besides, color filter the scouter provided made it easier to look at Vepar, and the picture was going to be deleted anyway. Although by doing so, Demalia was unwittingly giving Vepar an opportunity to fluster her more.
“Alright, me and Thimble will take it from here. Errr...Slide against the wall so that I can watch you out of the corner of my eye. Please refrain from doing any more… bad behavior, okay?”
Demalia was covering the whole range of Vepars action with how she worded it. From the vandalism to fleeing the scene, Demalia meant any kind of questionable behavior. And that included her later stunt. Although Demalia had made yet another mistake by not being specific. It widened the already fairly big hole that Vepar could easily use to her advantage.
