The Gravity Training [10x] [Yami]

"Fuuh... for some reason I feel like I'm being judged very severely"

Well, medical bay aside (mainly because he actually already bought the part, only unable to assemble it because Suusao was busy, and the gravity chamber itself was actually present from Rensu), it's time to get a bit serious. Beat assumed his fighting stance and licked his lips. The first attack launched. he quickly sidestepped. It felt similar to the time when he fight against a certain guy without ki. He was stronger probably than the guy, considering how he's the one with heavy weighted clothes and the guy doesn't have it, but at the same time, he's still losing until he pulled out his hidden power. And that's not the guy's fault either.

...At any rate, this one, he really likes this. A challenge for himself. He managed to dodge, albeit it was a close one thanks to his lowered strength level, and it's time for attack of his own. Beat exhaled, stomped the ground with a foot and then, with his left arm...

"SHOUTEIHA!!"

A ki coated palm strike, aimed directly to Yami's chest. He hoped that this would somehow hit the guy, but he's not sure with him being the weaker one here... by probably 100 PL. Sure he still can damage him, but he guessed it wouldn't be so easy. He wanted to know how long should he take before he got cornered and use more of this strength against the guy. He had quite the good expectation on the guy. He's a fast learner if anything, and that's great. He need to show a bit more patience though... that's his only flaw in his opinion. Then again, it's hard to be patient when back then he was belittled. Now, how would he feel that he's weaker and had to go seriously (for this level of power) against him?

"Trying to lighten your body with the same way you float is not bad. I noticed that you float a lot before. That's fine and all, but remember as martial artist, grounding is important. The moment you launched off without any friction to help you brake, you're going to be screwed and launched off to the other side!" Beat told Yami as they clashed. Martial artists uses their feet usually as their way to stop something. Their hip is their lifeline, at least that's what his father said. Foundation of martial arts is based on grounding. Even if he doesn't mind fighting midair, he would still make extra sure to learn the necessary way to create ground on the air. But doing that is harder than theory of course.

Still, this... The dark colored ki that heading at him was not something that he'd like hitting him. However if he uses any of his moves here he'll be totally screwed. The guy would have a higher stamina ground than him. Instead, he decided to block it too, this time using his arm! The powerful twist was seriously hurt to him, definitely more than his own attack to Yami, considering that he's lowering his power to match him. Even so... he was happy. This is challenging. Beat's pained expression switched to his usual challenging grin. He cannot drop his guard. The moment the twist stopped, his arm around the place of impact is quite red. Had he trained less than this, or had this is not a practice but the real thing, he's positive that his arm probably gonna get broken.

"Khe, not bad..." Without delay, however, his left fist is ready to strike Yami on his cheek if he dared to drop his guard even for a second. Time to go on full offensive now. He watched for anything that Yami might do the moment whether he dodged his attack or defended.

"Don't get too cocky," Beat reminded, yet at the same time he grinned cheekily. It's a case of pot calling kettle black at this moment because he's also in the same situation before, trying to fight against Rensu. Still, he could sense the other guy want a break here. So when it came to it, it's best to end it quickly, huh? He managed to fully defend against Beat's own attack, but at the same time... To use attack again after that, is he trying to make him yield? Too bad, he's not letting this one just like that easily pass. Beat quickly defended by raising his leg and slammed his elbow to fully pin the ki blast and stop it from hitting his stomach. The explosion that happened afterward was nasty. He tossed several feet back, but it was all he need... On his left hand, ball of ki starts to form, glowing dark blue...

Beat began his charge. Making sure that Yami know, to fight him under assumption that he'll win so easily would be wrong. "HAA.....!!"

He stayed immobile.. or more correctly, his body is already asking for break thanks to the strain it's experiencing. Even so, the adrenaline in his system dulled the pain enough for him to push on. Is it because his resistance or something else he had no idea, but he clearly isn't willing to go down just yet. This is what it meant to be a fighter after all! More than this however, it gonna make him black and blue for sure... He gotta be careful. A grin spread on his face seem to say that the attack going to be really dangerous if not taken seriously. True to that, this ball is about twice bigger than Yami's previous attack.

Heh, looks like all his action paid out. He's the more damaged of the two, yet at the same time he's still the one feared. That's funny. It kind of made him a bit happy. So far, he purposely letting himself stick to several techniques he learned the first time. To check how smart he is against his opponent. Clearly Yami isn't one that foolish enough to spend all his stamina though, and Beat was glad about it. He need someone brave, but he doesn't need an idiot that charges at everything. His leg shaking, his arm hurting, but even so, his charge haven't stopped. If anything, it's now magnified. The ki blast hit him, but he ignored it--- or actually, he took it head on, flinching slightly from the pain, but still held his ground. The explosion managed to tear a bit of his clothes.

"...Heh..."

Even when he's quite badly hurt like this, his smile only grow wider. " You got a lil bit more to win against me," Beat reminded. "If you're letting me charging this for this long, you're soooo going to be in trouble, you know? Hora, you need to be stronger than that... Because my attack is coming soon..." Now the ki is practically twice of its usual size. The air surrounding it somehow looked as if it's sucked to the sphere for it to form even bigger one.

"...Try to land a decisive blow that could disrupt me," he told him. "I know you can do it, especially since I'm a sitting duck like this."

That small ki blast wasn't the answer. Even if Beat was wounded, that technically just felt like a quite strong punch, but still nothing. He have felt even stronger pain than this. That's why, he wondered what would the guy do?

"You're the one being more cocky here, newbie," Beat would comment. The moment the attack came, Beat knew that he can't charge anymore. He quickly let out the blast that he's holding back. It was definitely pale--ridiculously so compared to his usual one. Well it's understandable because his usual one would be probably twenty times stronger than this at the very least, but even so, he's here for practice. The two collided, and now heading toward Yami in full power after winning the clash. In the end, the one who won the clash is the one who stood. Even if Yami were to block against that--no, he probably can't. The match is decided. Beat huffed and wiped his sweat. The ki was hold back significantly, but at the very least it should be enough to teach him a bit of lesson. In the end looks like he's the one winning the match. There's difference between their experience, but he's not sure he can win next time they clash at the same level.

"Whew, well, first round end here." The moment Beat said that, he cancelled out his ki suppression, letting it raise to its natural 22750 because the heavy weight. As soon he done that, his arms also fixed itself more rapidly than before. "...Damn, that was tough... It hurts like a bitch. Talk about real rough..."

He turned off the gravity simulation soon enough and took out the first aid box. He's kind of a bit limping thanks to the strike to his knee and elbow for stopping the second skill shot. Well, there's indeed no healing chamber, but some first aid box is definitely there. Beat also dispensed some ice to a pack and pressed it to where his Shouteiha hits Yami. "...Here, it would relieve the pain a bit. You did so well there. Your mistake was to let out the last attack. If it were some sort of other attack that could stun me, I'll probably the one ended up losing there. It's useful, so be careful when you charging. Generally, only charge if you're sure you could handle some pain... and not caught off guard. That's the lesson for today."

He hoped that was enough. How would he feel? Frustrated? Angry? He hoped it would help him in his growth. He's seeing potential on the guy. He don't want that potential to die out before he could mold it properly. "If you want any round two, just say... I won't go easy on ya this time around though. If that's all, I'm gonna cool down myself before taking a shower. These sweat made my weighted clothes part sticking to my body. It felt gross, like, really gross..."

He tore off his shirt. Whether he wears it or not at this point is completely irrelevant. The fabric just way too torn. He took off the weighted part too, seem to be too tired to wear it. Now that he's at his massive 91.000 again, it felt rather liberating.

Though if Yami want to review, he's not against that, or just chat in general.

"If you shot a normal attack at me, I'd try to tank it, but doing that would probably get me seriously hurt. My mother won't get off my case like that. Anyway, if you want to rest, go on ahead. There's a small bed over there..." Beat pointed at adjacent room separated by clear glass. It's seem to be some resting room in case people who used gravity room overworked themselves and unable to return to their own room. From the state it's in, maybe there are quite number of prime offender here... or the Captain just love to overworking himself. Beat meanwhile walked toward the shower room, whistling on his way there. The gym room now completely lit as before, the red light no longer being the primary color. At any rate... his first training done...

"...Maan, talk about really hard. I was trying to play it slightly cool there... but to think he's nearly won by rules... he might not be half bad after all..."

What Beat haven't told the guy was he set upon himself several rules:
1: He will keep his PL at steady 1100
2: He will only use very basic moves that he knew in his time on earth
3: He will not use his Mastered power unless Yami also used his, but he made sure to be more reluctant to use it, mainly because the guy haven't mastered his.
4: While he's trained in Komatsu's Dragon Spirit style martial arts, he'll not use it, and purposely dumb himself down to beginner's level
5: He will also not use the power that came from his saiyan side

If any of this broken, he vow he will admit defeat. But even so, Beat hates losing. He purposely tanked all the blows and instead opted to finish it off with a way that he sure would get him a win. Yami's impatience is kind of concerning, but at the same time, his stubbornness is one of the plus point.

"...Looks like I'm getting quite the nice catch after all~"

Beat hummed merrily and continued his showering. Maybe next time they spar, the guy would be able to turn the table back at him. He reminds himself that power isn't everything. In the end, fun and the desire to improve together is what make a training nice. Still, he'll make sure to punish the guy for calling him sir again.
