The sounds of nature filled the wilderness of Sadal. Within the lush forest, all was peaceful. The birds sang, the water rushed through the streams. The treetops swayed slowly in the gentle breeze, the leafs rustling softly. Yes, it was truly a wonderful place.
A shot echoed throughout the forest, causing flocks of birds to fly off in a panic. It interrupted the serenity of the otherwise peaceful environment. What kind of insensitive person would do such a thing? <Confound it all! Why is this so difficult?>
Demalia was standing in a clearing, pointing a small pistol over at a tree stump 10 yards away. On top of the tree stump was an empty can. There was a small hole in ground with smoke rising from it just past the tree stump.
Demalia had figured out how to materialize ki energy at will, and could channel them like bullets through a gun. She didn’t need a gun, but it did help her focus and it was the way of doing it she was most comfortable with. That didn't change the fact that she was a lousy shot though.
<Okay Demalia, just focus on hitting it for starters. After that you can worry about firing in a more practical way. Baby steps Demalia, baby steps.>
Demalia used both hands to hold the gun steady, holding the gun up to her face and looking down the sight. She closed one eye, focusing her attention on one vocal point. She had been practicing this for the last 24 hours. Just one hit in any fashion at all would be good enough for her. She needed things to be quiet so she could focus on her shot. She was alone in the forest though, so who could possibly interrupt her?

Aurora sighed as she arrived on the Planet Sadal. She was looking for Kaitara, who had disappeared god knows where, and figured this was the best place to look. Kaitara had expressed a desire to see the mortals and observe them up close, despite her and Onato’s warnings against it. The Southern Kaioshin found this planet to be fairly strange. She could feel their power levels scattered across, the Saiyans really were a powerful race. They towered over her Namekians, who were a much more peaceful tribe. The Konatsians of her Quadrant were also pretty powerful, but there was a different sensation from their energy she found.
She really ought to keep her eyes on this place every now and again. It wasn’t her zone, but that didn’t change the fact that it was a place of interest. And it’s not like she could trust Onato to do things properly. If he felt threatened by the species development he’d try to wipe them out. And that was not something that the deity deemed acceptable.
“I best use a disguise on this planet. No need for people to recognize my face just yet. It’s far too soon for them to handle visits from the divine…,” she muttered softly to herself as she began to change her own appearance. Maintaining her height, the Kaioshin soon warped herself into an appearance more befitting of a Tuffle. With pink hair instead of red, and shorter more rounded ears. One who gazed upon her could hardly tell that she was in fact not a Tuffle. Upon sensing for Kaitara’s energy however, she felt her presence very far away. What in Ale’s name was she doing?
“I should go check on he-....,” she began before turning her attention towards another high power level in the area. This energy… with slight traces of Demon into it. Was it Demalia? “I haven’t seen you in awhile… I wonder how you’re doing, little one…,” she mumbled to herself with a giggle.
This would be fun! She started to walk on over to Demalia, who was a fair ways away!

Demalia stuck her tongue out of her mouth, pressing it against the corner of her lip as she focused on her target. Steadily she moved her arm until it was at what she judged to be the right elevation. She pulled the trigger and… a hit! She got a hit! Demalia lowered the gun after the low voltage purple energy ball knocked the can onto the ground, staring over at it incredulously.
“I… made that shot? I made that shot!”
Demalia jumped onto the air, pumping her fist in the air with a grin. She finally made some progress! After going at it again and again she had git her target from a respectable range. She still had to do it consistently and apply shooting more efficiently before she could apply it to combat, but this was a start! She actually hit something!
Suddenly her scouter beeped, indicating that a fairly noticible power was approaching. She reached into her pocket and slipped it in, pressing the button to get the reading. She froze when she saw the reading. <60,000?! This must be a high ranking Saiyan of some kind. Why would someone like that be doing in the middle of the forest though?>
Demalia looked towards the source of the reading. Eventually she saw a figure making their way towards her. But they were too far to make anything out from that distance, especially without her glasses on. She just waited apprehensively for whoever is was coming towards her.

As Aurora walked over to Demalia, she couldn’t help but wonder how the Tuffle girl was doing. Probably still working tirelessly on that science of hers. She was such a dedicated girl. Aurora admittedly hadn’t changed much since their last encounter. She was busy trying to analyze and study the mortals of her Quadrant to be sure they were alright and headed down the right path. She worried about the Elder Guru for the Namekians, as he was getting quite old. And the Namekians still depended on him quite a bit.
After a fair bit however her thoughts were scattered, as she saw Demalia in the distance ahead. “Hello? Is that a fellow Tuffle I see? Oh it must be!” Aurora cried out in surprise at Demalia.
She hoped Demalia did not look to hard at her act. It would spoil all the fun if she deduced her identity so soon.
“My ship crash-landed here.. I was in the middle of an important delivery before getting attacked by Space Pirates! Would you happen to be able to fix it for me, miss? I’m afraid I wasn’t born the smartest tuffle...” she asked, pouting in frustration over her supposed lost ship.

Demalia relaxed, giving a relieved look as she saw another Tuffle come into the clearing. She certainly had the height for it. Granted she was a little tall for one. Maybe she was partially something else like her.
“Oh my god… space pirates? I'll be happy to fix your ship, but are they still in the area? You could still be in danger!”
Demalia was already worried about this person. More worried than she seemed to be. She seemed so nonchalant for someone who was just attacked by pirates. Demalia found it a little strange that she seemed unhurt. Maybe she was just strong like her though.

Aurora was glad that Demalia didn't immediately seem to suspect her. She wasn't much experienced in the art of deception, but she did the best that she could. She could usually be herself around the Namekians, as they were one of the few species in the cosmos that could truly handle her identity without freaking out. After all, the pink-haired Tuffle's disguise wasn't perfect. She was slightly off on the height measurements for the Tuffle species, which ruined her cover story a bit. Hybrids weren't unheard of for their civilization however. If she had too she would make something up.
Aurora laughed a little at Demalia's reaction, finding it a bit funny. She was glad the Tuffle hadn't grown conceited from her new power. She was surely one of the more impressive species in their Universe. She wondered however if Demalia would be this concerned, if Aurora had taken on the appearance of say a Konatsian. Was it genuine concern for others, or some racial pride making fellow Tuffles the exception to the rule? She'd look forward to the answer.
Ruffling the back of her hair nervously, Aurora explained her situation. "Well it wasn't so much the Space Pirates that were an issue. If they hadn't caught me off guard, then my ship would be fine. I'm a strong gal!"She flexed her arms and though they were small one could tell they were that of a warrior. Aurora was a Goddess born with power, but she still had to work hard to get where she was. This reflected in her physique.
Demalia went through a kaleidoscope of emotions. First a worried frown graced her lips. This person was taking a serious situation like it was nothing. There had to be something wrong with them, right? But she wasn't showing any signs of having a concussion. Then she flexed her arms, and a the hint of a smile appeared on Demalia's face. She was still worried, but this person's upbeat nature was growing on her quickly.
"That may be so. But when you're flying a spaceship, how strong you are doesn't matter. You're only as durable as your ship is. Is your ship in a safe location? If the pirates find us in the middle of repairs it could be trouble."
Demalia's eyes surveyed over the other hybrid. Her physic was rather impressive for someone of her stature. Demalia almost envied the muscles she had. And they looked natural on her. Clearly she put a lot of effort into training.

Aurora wasn’t very good at playing the victim it seemed. She thought she was doing fine, but she didn’t quite understand why her demeanor wasn’t fitting her backstory. She merely giggled at Demalia’s response in the safety of her own head, finding the Tuffle amusing as ever. She definitely needed a boyfriend, this Goddess thought. She still took everything too seriously.
On the surface however Aurora simply laughed nervously and rubbed the back of her head.
“Yeah they did shoot me down, but thankfully I was able to navigate and only crash land. The only damage that was taken was my ship. But hopefully someone can fix it! The Space Pirates were whimps. Once I got to ground I managed to crush them by myself and make em apologize for breaking my ship. They gave me some zeni at least for the repairs. Or rather.. I Guess I TOOK the zeni from their wallets haha.”
The funny part of this was that this wasn’t actually a lie. Aurora had had a strange encounter like this once. It just happened to not be recently.
“Anyways it should be coming up soon!” the Goddess-in-Disguise said cheerfully.
What Demalia wouldn’t see was Aurora’s eyes sparkle as magic flowed from them. This supposed ship of hers WOULD be coming up soon.

The Tuffle hybrid frowned at the Tuffle. She was strong enough to take out pirates by herself? That was unusual to say the least. The strangest part was her lax attitude about the whole thing. She was joking about a life threatening experience like she was recounting a tale of some jerk who cut her off innate driving lane. Still, she was going to help her.
"If you're sure it's safe, then I'll take a look at your ship as soon as it's here."
Demalia figured she was probably overthinking things. This person seemed nice enough. Besides, what reason would they have to lie about something like this?
