(OOC: Since Shiori is an Android, no one will be able to sense her PL. They can see her PL with a scouter though. Also this thread takes place in Age 1590.)
Flashback: Round 2.
Artemis had been exactly as Beat had described. She was a half Saiyaness with a lust for battle. She was the kind of person Shiori hated. An arrogant being who looked down on those weaker than them. This tournament battle had a very different tone then the one she had with Lucky. While Artemis managed to keep pace for a bit, Shiori overcame her. The android delivered a brutal beat down on her opponent. Her expression had never changed through the entire exchanges. But she delivered a lot more than she had to.
“It seems as though I was misinformed about something. The most violent individuals with Saiyan blood in their veins are said to live for battle. Yet it seems to only be the case while tormenting a weaker opponent. You were enjoying yourself when you were beating your opponent in the first round. Enjoying that has summoned misery for you in the second round.”
The words themselves had the same tone as everything else she had said up to that point. Yet there was an accusatory edge to them. Artemis hadn’t taken kindly to that. In the end it hadn’t mattered though. Shiori held the hybrid over the edge of the ring, her hand squeezing around her Artemis was making choking sounds, grasping at Shiori’s arms while kicking her legs frantically above the ground Shiori’s red eyes stared into her own, her cold monotone voice weighing into the hybrid’s ears with the authority of a reaper.
“I understand now. There is value in defeating someone that one despises. My Karma has been stained by my actions this round, but that’s fine. I’m satisfied with this result.”
Shiori slammed her fist into Artemis’s stomach, sending her flying into the far wall of the arena. The hybrid slumped to the ground, completely unconcious from the attack. The bloodied Artemis had taken quite a beating. The wall had cracks in it from the force of her impact. Shiori walked put of the arena without another word. She had one final round to prepare for.
Present Time
The white haired android stood in the arena, waiting for her final opponent to arrive. He was going to be a tough opponent. She had studied him whenever she had an opportunity to do so. He seemed to be using a technique she couldn’t quite comprehend though. Shiori would find out in this bate though. If she couldn’t, then she would be defeated.
After showing off his full power at the end of his first round, Kyokan saw little reason to suppress it for the round that followed. His technique seemed to still be an enigma to the other competitors, but that was only needed in very scarce situations. Unlike the first round, his second opponent wasn't advanced with a martial arts fighting style. The hardest part of dealing with Cygnus was his slight upper hand in raw power and skill, leading Kyokan to have to widdle his opponent down with careful Time Skips to confuse the opponent before ringing them out. His technique overcame that power and skill, but the second round was a step back from it. While his opponent was stronger than him once more, Kyokan was now on an even playing field with skill and his technique still reigned supreme over all opposition.
His opponent this time was far different than the Kold Demon as well, there were very little opportunities to be swept up by surprise, which led to this fresh opponent's inevitable doom. The fight played out similarly to the first in some ways, with Kyokan just trying to widdle down his opponent's stamina over time with carefully placed strikes, before unleashing a devastating finishing blow through the use of Time Skip to knock his opponent out of the arena the instant he slipped up. In many ways, the second round was more of a rest from the first, Cygnus was a much harder opponent to do casual combat with. Kyokan practically required Time Skip to deal with the Kold Demon, whereas his second opponent had it used to get the fight wrapped up in a timely manner. With the Gerodowr securing his victory once again, he ensured his spot in the finals of this Martial Arts Tournament. From there, he got to view the match that decided his opponent for the final match, an oddity for sure.
Both of this one's matches played out with a different side, making it unclear what he'd experience in even his own match. But the lack of power emanating from the opponent made something all too clear. Kyokan would have to make the most of his full power, he couldn't hold back just to test the waters.
Final Round
The time finally came, where he was to head in for the finals. The Gerodowr's hands remained in his pockets as he walked up onto the tournament arena floor, his deep red eyes peering across to the woman on the other side. His face had a resting anger to it, but that wasn't quite the case. Anger wasn't building up inside of him at all, despite the naturality of the stern look he gave. In reality, he felt very little, he still needed to get first impressions of this opponent to even decide if he'd feel excitement or boredom. But after his experience in the first round, he could only hope the fight would allow him to grow respect once more.
After a short pause, Kyokan's hands rose from his pockets to get into his casual fist-over-fist fighting stance that was pulled close to his face. The android opposite of him would know that he only ever used this stance in his battles so far. "Your fights thus far have been most impressive." his tone was still blunt and cold, like in the previous fights. There was no disrespect in it, however, it was not filled with rage or contempt, only the firm solitude of a warrior. "I offer the first strike to you." with his offer let out, the Gerodowr stood still in his combat stance, waiting almost like a statue. The fire burning inside of him was a flicker, but he hoped for it to be a roaring inferno by the end of this. WC: 633 TWC: 633 Thread PL: [103,000 Base] - [1,133,000 Full Power]

After treating Lucky her desserts, Beat returned to the watcher's seat. He let his girlfriend either returns to the hotel or to their ship. The tournament is only for a day anyway, so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle. At any rate, Beat was present during the second match... If he have to say, it was rather displeasing, but at the same time very pleasant. The red haired half saiyans seen how the half saiyaness fared against the android. The beatdown was brutal, perhaps because the android herself have some trauma... Saiyans being invaders are not something that he discounted after all. Perhaps it triggered something deep in her, something that he have no idea what. Even though she looked so logical, in the end, she's a human.
In the end, the wheel of karma is a bitch. She might said that she sullied her karma, but to Beat at the very least looking the tormentor of his fellow Remnants were satisfying. He'll be content with this. There's no need for him to beat up a beaten dog.
The other one, he missed this one, but if he recall correctly, he ever heard of these people, the sort of race that is very talented in assassination. Too bad that he have no idea about their power... Had he came earlier, he would probably knew what's his power by now, but... unfortunately, he didn't. Too bad. At any rate, time to enjoy the show...
Still, there is something that deeply bothered him. Assassins tend to go for the first hit. Why is he giving her the first hit? Is he that confident in winning? Or is it a trap? How would the girl react to this he wonder. If she won then great, but if she ose hopefully she will stay long enough for Beat to understood the working of the man's technique.
