The battle for Makai [Demon Queen Claim - Now closed]

Android 21’s attack was effective as it caught the demon lord off his guard and managed to injure him, potentially saving Jarvis from a decisive blow. The android couldn’t help but feel a lot of satisfaction to have managed to hit such a powerful foe; it meant that his body was indeed getting stronger, as it was supposed to be and that would help him accomplish his goals. This alliance with those people, both saiyans and demons were proving to be quite advantageous and he had just now decided to maintain it for good. Pride would need to wait, and he had plenty of time to give himself the luxury of waiting. With their aid, he could also become madly strong and reach the perfection he was supposed to already be. Then, after attacking the demon lord, he stared back at the saiyaness called Nori, who was under his protection. – Your friend Jarvis is saved. And I request you don’t call Quartz personality entertaining. He is seriously dangerous and quite troublesome. Useful in his own way, but far too dangerous and unpredictable. - he commented.

Nori finally shut down her cannon, leaving 21 satisfied. She would be saved and Jarvis would be owning him at least a favor, and it was good. To have strong folks like Jarvis owning favors were an important step into the path towards ultimate power. When she said she would be fighting alongside them next time, the android just nodded briefly, without showing much of emotion, not even when she claimed to trust the three of them. – Trusting battle comrades is good, offers bravery and synchronism in battle. - Then, before they could anything else, 21’s internal scanners captured a high power signature inside the castle nearby and it exploded, starting to bring it down. The android narrowed his eyes, which glowed red for a brief second, as he analyzed the potential damage of the area. – Danger. The structure will be hitting this area. Evacuation is needed and since you are injured, saving you becomes my priority. – he stated coldly.

The young saiyan boy who tagged along seemed to be really irritated and wanted the killing to stop and people were failing to understand his logic. 21, however, could understand the logic in the boy’s head since he would have thought of the same strategy if he were at his strategic position. Of course he failed to alert his comrades in time and risked their lives. In some cases 21 could even agree to that, should the comrades be more disposable, but those were top tier and losing them would be troublesome. The android stared at the saiyan girl and quickly grabbed her into his arms the second she grabbed his arm. – Worry not, Nori. I will protect you. Android’s Barrier! – he exclaimed with a bit more of emotion as a green-colored round energy barrier was generated around their bodies. The android maintained this barrier and quickly flew away from the site with Nori in his arms, following Nakiya, Jarvis and the others. He swiftly dodged most of the pieces of structure falling near them, and the few who managed to hit them were destroyed by his powerful barrier. In the end, they were both safe and sound as they reached their comrades. Once there, 21 carefully put Nori down to the ground again and deactivated his energy barrier.

Jarvis seemed absurdly mad and he was quick to punish the kid and say he didn’t deserve to fight alongside warriors. 21 slowly approached the brenchian-saiyan hybrid. – I beg to differ, Jarvis Blehbarry. – he said, pausing for a second. – That was a quite good course of action and it ended up killing most of the hostiles. Of course it put us into some danger, but we were all more than capable of surviving that event and I believe the saiyan boy took that into account, that’s something quite easy to calculate considering our power levels. Therefore, the boy managed to pretty much end this conflict and win a significant part of this war. – he said in a cold but serious tone. – But I can understand you all failing to see the value in this strategy. You are all too young and too attached to life. Maybe I would be too if I was alive in that biological sense. Still, I would likely have taken such a course of action if I were in his position, since the chances of us escaping was above seventy five percent. That’s what my huge war and battle database suggests too. – he pointed out, before turning to Nakiya.

– What about now? Is there any other hostile to be dealt with, or are we done? I have no records regarding this place, so I don’t know how it actually works. – he ended up by saying that.

Vulpeca, one of the demons that served as a minion for the new Demon Queen confronted Jarvis due to his attack on the young saiyan kid. Android 21 narrowed his eyes a bit as his systems were recording such a bond; it was always good to have heavy intel on both enemies and allies alike, since one could never really know when the later would end up becoming the first and being ready was a must. Nori had pointed out that, although she thought it was rather stupid, it was indeed effective. She said he could’ve warned them first and to that 21 could agree, but other than that he just didn’t care; the android’s mind liked the effectiveness of it and, since he wasn’t really concerned about dying as he could just as easily rebuild, he didn’t take into account. Obviously he needed to be mindful of his allies now, since they were frail living creatures, but that would take him some time to get used to.

Jarvis, on the other hand, was still quite sentimental and that was one of his major weaknesses, especially since he had deep feelings to the one Quartz’s personality chose to call cricky. It was a good thing, though, that he had that, since his power was so absurd that it would be rough to deal with him should he be a cold blooded killing machine with no one he cared about. Still, Android 21 didn’t even flinch at his display of violence and, instead, just stared back at him with a bored expression on his face. – There’s absolutely nothing you can actually teach me in that regard, Jarvis Blehbarry, and by now you should already know your threats are empty to me. You could say that by your own experience and, as far as my scanners tell me, you don’t see to have any sort of learning impairment, so, learn. – although his tone was cold and calm, 21 had some traces of boredom in him; annoyed him, deep inside his core, that people would keep on trying to threaten him with death of injuries. He felt pain, yes, but after so much his systems would just shut it down. When he finished, 21 just shook his head. – Also, I would do the same because your energy output shows me you are fast enough to save yourself and your woman, while the demons inside the castle weren’t. Your chances to be damaged were below 0,001%, while Nori’s chance, without me in the picture were a feeble 3%. Odds were in favor of your safety, that’s pure strategy and mathematics. – the teenage-looking android explained with his still bored expression.

His arguments didn’t seem to matter much, so he didn’t insist in that. Instead, 21 took notice of what Nakiya was doing, silently following her to whatever remained of the castle the saiyan kid attempted to destroy and was partially successful. They’ve reached a place with a small lake filled with a strange water. The android narrowed his eyes, forcing his scanners to identify the components on that pond, but they couldn’t do it. ”My scanners have failed me again? What is this thing, anyway? Whatever it is it’s not in the Red Ribbon Army’s Database I have.” he thought to himself, slightly annoyed by that, but he didn’t change his expression, remaining bored-looking. The new Demon Queen informed that it was somehow a water of power and those who wanted it should step inside. 21 considered things for a moment, finally changing his expression to a thoughtful one. ”I believe I have enough biological material in me to make it work… I have about fifty per cent chance of succeeding. That’s worth the try.” he decided, nodding to himself briefly as he walked into the room.

After Nakiya took a sip, his scanners noticed a considerable raise in power and that made him widen his eyes in surprise. ”Incredible! That energy boost… I can most definitely benefit from it greatly. It probably has some catch, maybe a mental link of some sort, but I’m fine with that. My programs should be able to override it in time and, worst case scenario, I will outlive all of them anyway.” Android 21 analyzed his chances and decided that it was okay in any case. Then, he kneeled near the water source and cupped his right hand, drinking whatever he gathered.

Immediately his systems began going completely crazy. ”Warning! Warning! Unknown material increasing core’s energy capacity!” 21 immediately ordered his system to not fight the “infection”, allowing it to reach his core and it felt absolutely good. In seconds, his power level rose considerably, and his core successfully multiplied it almost twentyfold.

21’s power level almost doubled in an instant and his systems noticed that there would still be some growth, though at a slower pace. Satisfied, he finally let a little bit of emotion arise as he cracked a discrete and subtle grin. ”I’m feeling an amazing energy. My power level is over twice what it was when I got into this place. Amazing indeed. I even feel like it activated something inside of my, by resurrecting the natural flow of ki of my biological parts, which is, in turn, immediately harvest and increased by my fully upgraded core.” then, he stared back at the saiyan kid who had just regained his consciousness. – Houri, you should drink it. – then, he turned back to Nakiya. – Nakiya, this water is really something. I wonder how Quartz will react to this newly acquired power. – he said, making his smile disappear as he returned to a more taciturn expression.

The android would then silently wait until they were ready to leave the demon realm, or any other plan they might have in mind. He wouldn’t allow Quartz to arise just yet, as he could easily go out of control.
