"Alright... that's it. Channel your energies through your hands. Your innate powers are over fire and earth," instructed the Eastern Kaioshin to his new pupil, the eastern mute Elemi girl Obsidia, "but there is a third energy inside of you. Your chi. Your bodies natural flow of power, electrical energy. Focus that through into your hands." he said, the black haired girl nodding slowly as she did as she was told. Slowly sparks of energy began to surface around her palms, until small spheres of light formed there, each one arcing with lightning. "Good, good! Now, bring them together in front of you, make the spheres into one singular orb." the Eastern Kaioshin said, the red eyed girl nodding and doing as she was instructed.
As she brought the orbs closer together, they crackled and shook slightly as if each sphere was trying to resist being merged into the other until they were finally brought together into a single sphere. "Now, unleash that gathered power. Push it forwards towards the empty horizon." said Mar, Obsidia nodding and unleashing the energy of the technique she was learning from the Eastern Kaioshin in a brilliant beam of yellow light, the same hue as lightning and the tip of a flame.
Eastern Kaioshin let out a woop and grinned at the mute Elemi girl who merely looked at him. "You did brilliantly." said Mar before he looked out across the water towards the private world of his Western counterpart and fellow troublemaker for Northern Kaioshin. "Err... methinks we maaay have overdone it a little." he said with a slight chuckle, peering into the distance. "What is that she's got with her?" he muttered before he rolled his eyes. "Shin's not gonna like this." Mar said with another chuckle and a shake of his head. Once the pink haired girl flying towards them was within range of hearing, Mar called out. "Who've you kidnapped from Yemma this time?"
The girl had yet to awaken. A little one like this.... it was likely she had completely exhausted her energy reserves when they crossed blows. It was lucky they spoke at all before she began this slumber. Come to think of it... boy was she going to be in for a surprise when she woke up! This planet, in her opinion looked far nicer than the rest of the afterlife! Truly a site to behold. Though they hadn't been back long she could already hear the distinctive sound of the east in the distance, without much need to sense them to begin with. What was that? Because North often... no always avoided causing booms in the distance. Besides their was that nee apprentice of his he was probably messing around with... though she supposed their was a sliiiggghhhttt chance he was truly bring serious and training the girl.

Naaaaaah!
In any case between North and East she much prefered East seeing what she had done first. She had her reasons, for once it wasn't just to have a pretty face or a little new company around ether!
It was this irony that caused her to chuckle a bit from her siblings lone of questioning. Though she didn't mind it was a reputation she had brought upon herself over the course of her life, bringing a new soul every few centuries until they got tired of the planet. Though she at first chuckled and even nudged her fellow Kai in response her face shortly after became a much rarer expression for the Kai of the Western Galaxy, her cold facial expression gave off the emotion she very rarely felt.
She was completely serious
"She's different Mar, very different... this child gave those horned idiots such trouble they almost threw her down below... she's different, I read it"
To signal what was likely an obvious point to her fellow Kai she tapped her head, indication her whole mind reading stick.
On a more playful note she brought the girl to a more easy to see position, holding her with both arms out front. If one payed attention they could feel an almost icy aura coming from her, even in her unconscious state.
"Besides, she's the exact opposite of your hot head over there!"
What? West was NEVER one hundred percent serious!

Well this was a rare occasion, one that only ever happened once very few thousand years... Western Kaioshin looked completely serious, AND sounded serious as well when she spoke... well, for a moment anyway. "Well in fairness to the Ogres, they have had to be dealing with a bunch of Saiyans recently according to North... something about a power struggle on Vegeta. I'd be tired too if I'd had to fend off angry Saiyan puffballs for the last few days." Mar smirked before he went to ruffle his little sister's hair.
Obsidia merely grunted at the hot head comment, although she did give a salute to the Western Kaioshin by slamming one fist into her palm and then bowing at the waist. "Yes, she is... Obsidia's awake for one thing." Mar chuckled, resulting in a grumping noise from the female Elemi student as well as the obligatory eye-rolling. "So, does North know yet about your latest collection? Or are we just going to wait until we can hear his frustrated screams as Yemma eventually gets around to reporting it to him?" asked the Eastern Kaioshin as he began to make his way to his hut, gesturing for them to follow.
The shortest kai's head flailed back and forth in response to the ruffling of her hair. Out of all the supreme kai's she was the shortest and by far the closest thing to 'Childish' looking among them. Because of this she was often treated like a child, though mostly jokingly, by her eastern counterpart. In truth all of them were very close to each other in age but she didn't really mind the treatment-she got her fair amount in on him anyway!
"I see something in this child, that's all! Maybe more potential... than yours huh?"
Her words were playful and this was also the time she returned the grunting Elemi's greeting with her own wave and wink. Though she joked she knew full well Mar's apprentice was no weakling. The Kai's didn't just pick up students for the sake of a pretty face after all. And this one... she didn't pick Crystal up solely for company. Their was meaning in her being here now. Just as surely as their would be meaning if she returned to life.
"As if I'd tell grumpus about this first! I'd just be in for a lecture long enough to double my age!"
She shook her head once more, giving a light laugh as she did so. North was by far the most strict and responsible out of the four of them. Sure they all took their jobs seriously but him? He might as well be the tree that bore them tell way he would go on and on about their choices. Still he was a good sibling she supposed. Defently the least likely of them to get himself a halo in any case!
"It's not like it's going to go any better than it did with you anyway I'll just... let Yenma cool the guy down first hehe!"

The Supreme East Kai took another look at the sleeping child that Rumia had collected, rubbing his chin at her choice. As he said to the Supreme North Kai, he may not believe in fate or destiny, but he definitely did not believe in coincidence. The fact that both himself and Western Kaioshin had seen fit to gather a student each, along with the actions in the mortal realms that all of them had no doubt sensed. Something was coming... something was building. That much was clear.
Of course such thoughts were for another time as Mar smirked when Rumia talked about their brother and Yemma. "Oh I've sat through a few of those lectures. And hey, at least I ask my Kai before I steal her students, rather than taking them straight outta the Afterlife line." he said in mock protest with a grin on his face.
West shrugged playfully in response to her counterparts answer. True enough, now that she thought on it she didn't recall asking or informing any Kai of her action, or for that matter inform anyone aside from Yenma and East here..... oh well! Wasn't that big a deal really, she had already been processed and all that fun stuff anyway! Besides she had every intention of training Crystal in the most strict training she could muster!.... after playtime of course.
"You do what YOU gotta do these days! Besides, probably gonna need her and Mrs fiery in the coming days, way parts of the galaxy seem to be spiking in craziness and stupidity again, whatever happened to times when things were simple, when people just beat each other to a pulp with rocks and the like, that stuff was EASY to solve!
Placing her soon to be student down on the soft grass Rumia let her arms rest behind her head, her head itself bobbing back and forth in thought.
"Besides when she's not mad she seems to be a bundle of fun! And we need all the counteracting for North's boredom we can get sometimes! And ya know, in case of imanant disaster and all the like"

"I think those times faded away when they discovered the proverbial Promethean flame, how to use it to make sharper sticks and eventually consider what lay beyond their own planet. Progress and evolution my dear sister, progress and evolution." remarked Mar with a smirk. He turned his gaze towards the distant stars though for a bit as he spoke. "Some worlds are still like that, even with the rest of the galaxy being at least somewhat space-worthy." he mused before he regarded Rumia's commentary.
"Well, if North's boring for us, it's only because he's so busy trying to keep track of all the madness going on in the Northern Galaxy. His quadrant's a bit of a full time job in comparison to our sectors." Mar admitted before he gave a shrug. "We can only hope that this time around the madness is confined to just the Northern Quarter, and hope it doesn't spread to either of our areas like it did with South a few centuries back." he said with a slight shudder at the memory of that behemoth of a Saiyan warrior.
Rumia rolled her eyes playfully at Mar's response to her. The living races had a bad habit of getting in over their head at almost every turn. Their tends to always be a lot of good and a lot of bad wherever one looked. The universe was such a fragile place at times, so easy to disturb and quick to change. If their was one thing she had observed over her long lifespan that was defently it. North was the most by the books one of them and, and as far as she was concerned the most attached to his job. Rumia knew her place and her duty of course but she WOULD be just as comfortable playing a direct role in the universe's fate as she would in her more supportive role as a Kai. Still if it wasn't for this life, she wouldn't know who she knew! She was grateful for that. Besides being a Kai had quite a few fun points as well!
"Yeah.... that's the kind of chaos that's fun for no one involved, all it ends with is a whole lot of pain all around"
Still she doubted at times how effectively they could contain these threats. Every day they grew stronger, each spark became a flame and each flame had the potential to become a wildfire-something no one could control.
"Hey Mar? You think the tree made the right choice, producing a couple of goofs like us?"
Part of her was simply playing around of course but their was clearly an undertone to her statement as well. Were they really as effective as they should be? Or could the universe just wink them out on a whim? She wasn't really sure.
When the Supreme Kai of the West asked her question, the Supreme Kai of the East looked up towards the distant stars as he contemplated an answer. "I think so." said Mar after a couple of minutes silence. "North is dutiful because his region is typically where the most trouble comes from... we're a little more meddlesome since our regions are a lot more quiet." the Eastern Kaioshin explained, rubbing his chin as he spoke. "I may not believe in destiny, but coincidence is not something I hold much stock in either." Mar said as he turned his gaze back down to Rumia. "Besides, I think North got all the seriousness by accident when we were all born, so it balances out." he said with a wink and a smirk.
Rumia sighed a bit in response. Mar was right of course, North's quadrant would make anyone a very busy bee. He was by far the most responsible of them, despite what some not. Headstrong in his ways yes-but responsible none the less. If the three of them were put together he undoubtedly would be dubbed the 'Big brother' of the trio And not just because of Rumia's size. Rumia on the other hand was likely the most empathetic towards the living realms inhabitants. Heck this nature was a main part of the reason She picked up Crys to begin with!
Each one of them was unique in their own way. When she thought about it Mar was right. Each of them was made as a Kai for a reason. Each one of them had a responsibility to the universe's survival. Rumia would just have to do what she could to keep the pieces together. Crystal was the first piece of that puzzle. She wanted to form one beautiful snowflake, that would make a great universe right? Nearly impossible and something would take foreveeeeer but well worth it in her mind. With a smile she transferred the child to her back to carry her better-giving Mar a final playful smile.
"Thank you. Mar, I enjoyed our talk as always... but I should probably get this little tyke a better place to lie while she sleeps. Enjoy yourselves you to, Western Kaioshin ouuuut!"
With a final round of laughter Rumia would take off in the direction of her little slice of planet. A part of the planet that would become very well know for its abundance of ice in the near future.
