Within the confines of another one of her infamous nightmares Kohl was surrounded by a black void of some sort, streaks of dark shades of blue and purple here and there throughout and she sat on her knees gazing down through the invisible platform she was on into an abyss of dark colors. Her head felt as if it were going to explode at any minute and there was a sort of burning sensation inside her chest- it was anger. Strong, unbridled rage. The kind that wanted to force it's away out and make one go berserk.
"Pathetic weakling.." She grumbled to herself in self loathing.
She was choking up, mad at herself for being too weak to have done anything to prevent the deaths of her parents. It drove her near mad. Her hands braced against the invisible platform beneath her and she shut her eyes tightly as tears began to well up within them.
"Stop crying.. Stop it!" The halfbreed demanded as she took her first and slammed it downwards as hard as she could. The pain that shot through her hand only served to make things worse.
Kohlbari crossed her arms on the invisible ground infront of her and rested her forehead against them, finding a sort of comfort in the darkness on the inside of her eyelids. The pain in her head vanished and her chest cleared up.
Opening her eyes, the half-saiyan raised her head to find herself in her room. It hadn't changed much in the last few years- if one isn't including the lack of light due to her inability to pay for every utility. The light coming from outside was just enough for her to see, though.
Kohl wiped her face off with one of her sleeves and let out a deep sigh. She turned over onto her back, swinging her legs off of her bed and standing up. Her hair was an utter mess sticking out in every single direction it could possibly manage and almost completely obscuring her vision. She brought her fingers up to her face and tried to force it back as best she could just until she could find a brush to get at it with.
After a standard morning ritual consisting of food and basic hygiene, Kohl was ready to begin more training. Any real martial arts master could tell that Kohlbari was working off scratch as she trained herself- her fighting style was clearly sloppy and her attempts to combine ki manipulation with it only made things look worse. The one, only, and best word for it all was 'sloppy'. She did her absolute best though, which could've come as an A for effort. At least she got good exercise out of it.
With the training done for now, Kohl set out to find random odd jobs usually consisting of small deliveries and helping lift heavy objects. Though at some point in the middle of the day while she carried a small box of supplies, a flash of white would obscure her vision and at the same time intense pain would spike through her skull causing her to drop the box as she moved her hands up to grip her head and groan.
The visions came and went extremely quickly, with little to no time for Kohlrabi to make any sense of them. She could only gather that there was death- a lot of it. Deaths of people she didn't know and natural and unnatural disasters great enough to cripple planets or even destroy them.
Why should she care, though? The planet seemed completely fine so she had nothing to worry about. As far as she was concerned, she was just going bonkers. Which honestly would not surprise her, all things considered. Being left to one's own thoughts everyday with the same old routine and no one to talk to could probably do something like that to one's mental health- right?
"Right.." The halfbreed shook her head and proceeded to crouch down and scoop up the contents of the box she had broken by folding the front of her hoodie up with the items inside to have it act as a sort of makeshift kangaroo pouch. It wasn't too hard, as the box had been full of little bottles of some kind of liquid Kohl didn't care to check up on.
With the day nearly over, Kohl decided to take a couple of hours to relax and think on what her next actions should be. There was no way she could simply go on the way she was with the constant nightmares and the 'visions' of impending doom. She didn't have much money to her name, but maybe she could find something to do with her life in the Soy Capital. One could never start to early, right?
Gathering her belongings from her old home, Kohl set out towards the Soy Capital. The halfbreed was determined, now more than ever, to find an 'escape'. Perhaps at the same time she could find someone to help in making use of the potential she seemingly had.
Kinoko had a very long and day that day... training herself hard so that she could become much stronger than she was. She had found herself to be a big ball of sweat after that days training, and so had gone to her temporary home so that she could freshen up and wash her clothes. She only did have the one outfit until she could save up enough money to buy herself more clothing, so tasks like this usually took quite a while. Hell, normally until her clothes were clean the saiyaness just walked around her home naked. She didn't really care, she was completely comfortable with herself and didn't fear flaunting what she had. However... it might explain the constant presence of men nearby her door...
As soon as her clothes were cleaned, and her accessories washed, Kinoko put on her rather revealing outfit, pulling up her dress over her shoulders to provide the tiniest bit of extra coverage before she would step outside. As expected, a rather burly looking male saiyan just 'happened' to be walking by as she locked her door. She looked at him before winking, then walking away without a word.
She had been working hard, and so she deserved a drink! and a dance, and a good time! None of the rules the Overseer had set prevented her from having fun right?? And so, Kinoko found herself walking to the bar alone.
It wasn't long until she reached the establishment, and stepped inside.
"Wow! Kid! We don't get many women like you in here! Hey Cara! Why don't you dress like this hunh?!" The bartender snerked as he saw the lewdly dressed woman take a seat. The woman he had yelled too, Cara, simply responded by throwing her mug of ail at his head.
"Shhhhhh...shuut up you lilleh livered maggot! I dun.... I dunt dress like da who-re because Immmm imma real warrior! Saiyan's dun dress like that unl...ess they weak enough to be caught n slaved!" Cara growled at the man who only laughed at her. The saiyaness' face was completely flushed red, several mugs of ail lying in a mess in front of her. Clearly, she was drunk.
Kinoko only rolled her eyes at the saiyaness before looking back to the male.
"Be a dear and get me something strong love~ Oh, and do you have anything that passes for music in here? I'd like to drown out the 'real warriors' in here." Kinoko said casually, hearing Cara groan something that sounded like 'What did you say', before she quickly hit the floor and passed out.
The man just continued to laugh before making a rather strong drink for Kinoko. He had definitely over done it on the alcohol, but his mind wasn't on her health~
Kinoko took a swig of the drink made for her and screwed her eye shut tight as the alcohol burned at her throat! This was nothing like she had expected! Vulpeca let her try alcohol before she left to get her used to it, but it was nothing like this! She put the mug down on the counter, the man watching her closely for more of a reaction. However, what he had expected wasn't at all what Kinoko did. The girl let out a belch, quickly apologizing as she dabbed at her mouth.
"You sir, are trying to get into my pants, with a drink like that... woo! that... you just mixed everything in there didn't you." She asked of him, standing up as if ready to walk away.
"Hahahaha! You caught me there little miss! I bet ya every man in here is lookin to get some of that!" the saiyan preached, to which Kinoko just raised an eyebrow. She grabbed the cup once more, and downed the drink as fast as she could. For a moment, she felt like she was going to be sick... she could feel the mix of alcohol burning away at her stomach, but she was quick to hold it in. Instead of putting the cup down, she threw it at the bartender and took a deep breath.
"Love, none of you are good enough to get some of this. Maybe when all of you can drink that swill, and get some good music going, I might come back for a dance~" She said in a rather flirtatious tone before throwing coins onto the counter and walking out with a sigh. She had been hoping to get a bit of cash at that bar, but she wouldn't stand for them trying to knock her out to get her. She would groan and adjust her dress as she continued down the path, looking for another establishment she could potentially raise some cash. Instead of anything interesting however, she found a little blue haired girl in a rather tattered looking state, wandering about the capital. She didn't look like she fit in at all, which caused Kinoko to raise an eyebrow.
The recent emerging Super Saiyaness would sigh as she wandered the Capital. She was curious on what was going on in these parts of the city. It seemed mostly... nice but nothing special. She would wander around with Lancer on her back and she would grumble at the sight of everyone starring at her. Why was everyone fucking starring at her?! She looked at Lancer on her back, "It's like these people know I'm not from this planet... Why are they looking at me?!" she asked her companion on her back. The gun began vibrating, "I don't know... A weird little saiyan with a skin tight teal suit with hair that doesn't come up like all saiyans... Green eyes? A gun on her back? You think you're apart of their little crowd?" he'd say in a funny tone. She grinds her teeth down as she walked down the street, "Sometimes I really hate asking you the most simple shit... It makes me want to STRANGLE YOU!" she said as she continued walking down the street. "Hey, Hey, Hey! I'm kidding! Maybe they just... Like the way you look?" he said in question. She'd grumble as she had him slung on her back, "Even though this is my kin I still feel like I don't belong here at all. I'm a Sargent! Wouldn't these people show some respect?!" she said.
She absolutely hated people starring at her. It makes her think back to when she was a child in the boot camps of the Saiyan Empire. Those horrid and terrible days. She was scarred in her mind to think about those moments in her life. She would walk around a corner and make a straight point towards on. She had her green eyes peer all around just viewing the many things to occur. It was life like Earth but full of Saiyans. Was it all just a dream or actually a reality? She saw non-warriors casually having some kind of drinks and men and women working that doesn't involve fighting! What the fuck is this place?! Her warrior's heart put a lot of things into question but she would not ask anything. This was going to be like the Overwatch citadel after all... She would look at Lancer, "Hey... You think you can find me somewhere I can perhaps find something to do? I mean seriously! I really hate just looking at this civilization stuff..." she said to her companion. He would scan the area, "Hmmmm... I don't scan for anything to do... Oh, you do know this will be just like your city... You've gotta get used to this!" he said to her. She would simply sigh and nod, "You're right... I'm not sure what the hell I'm going to do..." she said as she looked over and saw two individuals that pointed out from the rest. She would walk over with Lancer slung tight on her back and approach them with her arms crossed. Her face semi-serious, "I see you two are quite different... I'm Sargent Leena of the Saiyan Alliance... However, I'm also the High Clarity of my faction back on Earth, The Lanza... How are you both doing?" she told and asked them. She was trying to be friendly but she did not know them at all.

( Whoops.. forgot to include word count in my first post. It's 849, sorry!)
Kohl wasn't used to huge cities. Though she'd been on the planet since the day she was born, she had never once been to the planet's capital city. Not for any particular reason, it was just she never had any good reason for traveling this far before. It was mildly overwhelming but she managed to keep her cool by focusing on things that caught her interest and made her curious.
She strayed away from strange looking people and buildings she clearly did not belong in. Though she was clueless for the most part, she at least had some basic knowledge about how large cities could be- especially to those who were more used to small villages where everyone knew each-other.
After wandering for a long time, the young hybrid stopped and tried to figure it out what exactly it was she planned to do. Beyond coming to the capital she hadn't thought of anything. She had considered leaving the planet, but where would she go? It wasn't like she knew where any other planets specifically were. Even if she did manage to make it to another planet, what did she plan to do? She was lost as it was on a planet she'd been living on for fifteen years. A planet like Earth would probably swallow her whole and spit her back out into space.
Kohlrabi was starting to panic, now.. What was she supposed to do? She hadn't even began to plan this far ahead. Maybe she should just go home? "No.." She told herself with a sigh. That wasn't an option at this point. She couldn't keep living the way she had been- it would drive her mad if she were to continue for any longer.
The hybrid hadn't realized she'd managed to zone out standing up in the middle of a sidewalk, so she was easily startled by the scantily clad stranger. She jumped a little, blinking twice as she came back to reality. Kohl was.. confused by her outfit, but that's just to say the least. She had nothing mean to say in regards to it but still, she'd never seen someone dress in such a way before. She'd opened her mouth to respond before even thinking about what to say. Honestly, she was speechless and just a little bit confused. Fortunately for her, another new face had given her just the excuse she needed to shut her mouth to think for a second.
Kohl crossed her arms to keep herself from nervously messing with them. She looked towards the under dressed one of the two and shook her head, responding with a quiet "No.." before looking to the far more intimidating one. "Fine, I suppose." She'd add on, though honestly, both answers were lies.
Well that was a short lived answer! She wasn't quite sure what she expected to hear from the girl truth be told, but she guessed if she wasn't lost... there wasn't much she could do for the girl. However, it wasn't long until another saiyaness showed up to break what would of been an awkward moment.
Leena showed up and called them strange before even introducing herself. Kinoko couldn't help but huff at the comment, before inwardly groaning when she announced a superior rank. She wasn't interested in playing military with anyone else on the planet except the one's she was sent for.
" Private Kinoko. Pleasure to meet you Sargent. I'm doing quite fine. Permission to speak freely Sargent?" Kinoko asked politely as she turned around to face Leena, standing straight at attention. She knew how military worked and the discipline that needed to be shown within it. Perhaps if she acted the part properly, it would earn her bonus points with Jie Shan later.
The Saiyaness's eyes peered to the odd dressed one. She gave her a sharp stare but looked back over to the hybrid. She would simply look at her and nod lightly, "I sure hope you're fine... I got a feeling you're not too amused of this city either. Believe me, I'm confused by everything about it," she said as she turned her head back to the oddly dressed saiyan. All she heard was her name, rank and Leena's own rank with her stating she's fine before she put her hand up really quick. "I appreciate you being good. You don't need my own permission for you to speak. I see you as my equal so therefore speak by your mind and heart, Saiyaness," she simply said and gave her a quick smile. She wasn't going to do that military shit. She was honored to be a Sargent already but she won't order saiyans around like they're a bunch of lap dogs. She would turn herself back to Lancer on her back, feeling him vibrate like a cell phone. "Guh.... Fine, Lancer... You can come out and say hi! Show some manners though! These are female Saiyans! They would most likely whip your ass if you try any flirty stuff!" she simply said and the vibration on her back stopped. A beam of light from the side of the gun would be seen and a hologram was becoming clear. A figure of a masked man would suddenly appear and make himself known.
The masked man spun himself once than gave a polite bow towards the ladies. He was at least trying to be charming despite his criminal past. "Good day, beautiful women! You both look like beautiful flowers under a bright star! I am Lancer! Here to please the situation if may be," he said with a smile under his mask. He was friendly and charming, what a combo. Leena crossed her arms and chuckled, "Hmh~! Unusual for you to come out here and socialize. Are you interested in flirting with these girls? If you did, I'd have to strangle you because that's not polite you know!" she said with a smirk on her face. He would shake his head, "Nonsense! I just wanted to see their beautiful faces myself! It's not hard to come out and say hello, you know Leena!" he said. She would sigh and shake her head, "Oh bite me, Lancer..." was all she said before the AI looked over at the hybrid himself. He could tell slightly she was feeling mild in expression which made him approach her. He would stand in front of her, "Are you sure you're feeling okay? I don't like seeing sad faces on stage. It completely ruins the performance," he said as Leena would just sit back and allow for her companion to talk to her. She wasn't very controlling and didn't mind him having a social life either. They were partners after all, and he had his own life too.

Kohl wondered why the two exchanged paramilitary formalities. They seemed pointless- someone clearly superior to most others should not need to be constantly reminded of their strength. If they were to a develop an ego from all the.. 'pampering', they could start to slack in their training and end up being surpassed by even someone as weak as her. She shook her head and looked at Kinoko. She was clearly overthinking things and being far too harsh on herself so she figured it would be smarter to strike up a conversation with the two who were ready to help her- though she was far too proud to admit she needed it. "Are either of you even from this planet?" The hybrid managed to ask just before Lancer's fabulous introduction.
Lancer's excessive compliments and kind demeanor really were doing a number on Kohl's ability to lie. Honestly though, she probably couldn't lie her way out of a paper bag. Being a liar was never a good first impression anyway, and these three were likely far stronger than she was currently hoping to be so it was probably best she quit it before she managed to dig herself into a hole in which she was likely to get vaporized. "Even though he's a little creepy, but I doubt he'd risk flirting with someone as young as me." The hybrid would assure Leena- though she couldn't guarantee Kinoko wouldn't get a little sweet talking.
It was at this moment that Kohl realized she'd completely forgotten to introduce herself. Good thing too, honestly. She needed an excuse to brush off Lancer's questioning of wheither or not she was fine. "My uh.. name is Kohlrabi. Sorry." She quickly apologized, hoping she had not come off as rude. Not that lying wasn't rude, it was just she didn't want to be a bother for these people. And again, she was far too proud to admit she needed any help- especially from strangers.
The capital was near exactly as she expected it to be thus far. Big, confusing, and very loud. She didn't expect the first couple of strangers she'd stop to have a conversation with to be so tolerable. Still though, she wasn't planning a future trip. Once she was away from here she planned to be away from good unless absolutely necessary. "What are you three here for? As far as I can tell this place isn't all that special. It's loud and obnoxious and there doesn't seem like that much to do. Not to me, anyway."

"Haha thanks... to be honest I'm just getting used to all this military stuff~ I feel I have to do my best or 'pfft'" She brought her thumb across her neck, indicating that if she wasn't on her best behavior, one of the outcomes for her would be execution. She seemed to take it rather light heartedly though as she looked to the Sergeant, Leena. Maybe her encounter with her wouldn't be nearly as bad as she thought!
However, when the girl started talking to herself, the saiyaness couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. Who was Lancer? She didn't see anyone, and she didn't sense anyone else nearby? Whenever a hologram was proected from her rifle though, Kinoko looked on in awe.
'That's some interesting tech! I don't think master has anything like this yet!' Kinoko thought to herself as she watched the talking image of this 'Lancer'.
"Ohhh! For a hologram you have much better manners than those men back there!" Kinoko said as her tail would flick from one side to the other excitedly as she looked at Lancer, walking up close to the hologram so she could analyze him up close.
"Wow... how does this technology work? Are you some kind of AI?" She asked curiously as she circled Lancer quite excitedly, stopping only once she had done a 360 and the blue haired girl spoke. She would flash a smile towards the small girl. She asked if either of them were from planet Natto, and she couldn't help but chuckle.
"Nope. I've only been here a few days truth be told, but I'm learning the in's and out's pretty quickly." She said with an innocent smile on her face as she straightened up, giving Lancer a break from her scrutiny. Then, the blue haired girl finally introduced herself and Kinoko nodded.
"Nice to meet you Kohl~ This place is kind of boring isn't it? But it's a good place to make some money~ There are a few bars lining this place and the drunks tend to go wild when they see me. Hahahaha. I don't mean I steal from them or do anything provocative, but bet on a game of pool here and there, sing em a song and the zeni fly's." Kinoko boasted, glancing back to Leena a little uncertainly after her little outburst of excitement.
Leena crossed her arms with an amused look. She looked at the oddly dressed one and smiled, "Believe me, I'm not too caring for the military ordering stuff. I don't even think I deserve this Sargent rank. I'm an outsider to this place," She would chuckle after watching her companion act like an which was cute to her. She liked Lancer's personality because he was good with everyone. He once has never gave anyone shit which was a good relief to her. She didn't have to worry about him ever causing trouble towards anyone. Suddenly, the female hybrid asked her an important question. Was she and Lancer from this planet... She simply chuckled, "No, we are not. Lancer was actually a criminal long ago before he was killed and I'm originally from Vegeta. Vegeta was a shithole back then... I'm not too sure their status is now but I'd rather not think about them... I have a home on Earth with many of my allies but that could be a tale for a different day," she said. Lancer would smile under his mask, "I am not your average 'AI'... Like Leena said... I'm actually living inside a machine! I don't have a body but I still exist!" he said smiling. She than stated about him flirting with a minor. Leena's face went red as she was holding back her laughter. Lancer felt slightly dumb but he would play this cool, "Well, I figured you were young but it doesn't hurt to be friendly, am I right?" he said with a question. Leena kept her cool and relaxed for a bit. Kino would state how nice Lancer was and that made Leena simply smile. To hear his friend is being nice and even possibly making a new friend was a good feeling. Lancer would bow lightly to her, "Thank you madam! All I want is a casual conversation with beautiful women and I got my satisfaction! I wish that one right there would act like lady more instead of a warrior!" he said pointing to Leena would shake her head. "You're an idiot! Saiyan women are supposed to look tough! That's how I was told! Apparently, the men think strong females are suitable for breeding but I don't like that breeding nonsense," she said. She was indeed a very strong saiyaness but she wasn't for breeding not now. She then stated what was she doing here, "Well... I'm just exploring around the city. I'm not really familiar with these parts at all. As a matter of fact, I came here for an alliance originally... However, that went all bad. There was problems, and I had to show my worth... I luckily did, but that's just another ball game! I'm basically here just to adapt to Natto! It's a nice planet but I really think it's weird for me too. So, you're not the only one confused," she said with a smile on her face. She would like this moment for once..

"Try really boring.. Nothing ever goes on. I'm always hearing about things going on off planet and honestly it makes me angry. Then again.. News doesn't have an easy time making its way to me. I live really far away from the capital in a small village. It's quiet and everyone knows eachother- which is nice until it starts to drive you mad because nothing ever happens." Kohl shrugged at Kinoko. "You might be able to dance your way to a decent size fortune, but I've got to make a modest wage through whatever jobs a kid can get around here. I can't even enter any of these bars, either- not that I would want to. I'd sooner wander the streets than deal with a drunk person pervert that I'm likely to beat bloody." She added on, certainly talking big when considering her small size. Kind of like a chihuahua that thinks its ten feet tall and bulletproof. This could be humorous considering she had to be quite short for her age, being a 'late bloomer' and all that bullcrap. Kohl was just a puppy with all bark and no bite- although she'd really like to earn her 'bite'.
"My father used to live on Vegeta.. Back before I was a twinkle in his eye. He moved to live on Natto when he got together with my mother. I don't think he wanted me anywhere near that planet." The young hybrid stated as she looked towards Leena. "Your job doesn't sound very fun. Unfortunately, it looks like one of my only options is to be a soldier for the Saiyan Alliance. I mean, it's what would be expected of me by my parents but there's gotta be something bigger for me out there. Something more than just being someone's inferior grunt." Kohlrabi would look back to Kinoko. She would arch a brow as a thought came to her. "What do you do exactly? You seem like you'd be an ordinary soldier too with how you addressed Leena.. But I feel like there's got to be a lot more to it than just that."
Actually, now that Kohl thought about it. All three of these people had more to them than she would think. Herself, though? She had nothing but a stupid sob story. This angered her to some degree- she wanted to make a name for herself so badly it wasn't even funny anymore. If she was going to get what she wanted though, she wasn't going to do it through following someone else's orders. It wasn't just because she was a rebellious teenager, either. She was just rebellious and compassionate by her very nature and her upbringing. As much as she loathed the thought of doing so, she would have to fly home. She knew her father had kept an old space pod somewhere near or in her home and that was gonna be her cheapest ticket off this boring rock with zero opportunities. There was no fighting it. Kohl would have to make a trip to Earth eventually, as it probably had a lot more fighters willing to teach her a thing or two without forcing her on some general's leash.
Kinoko listened to Leena speak about Lancer and just what he was, and it truly piqued her interest. So lancer was partially biological, but he was still a weapon? That was definitely interesting, but what kind of existence was he condemned too? Wouldn't it be better to just be dead instead of being unable to do anything on his own? Well who was she to talk, it wasn't her concern in the end now was it.
then, Leena said something mildly interesting. She was actually from planet Vegeta, and that got her heart racing a little bit. While she was on Vegeta, she was still sporting her blonde hair and tail until she drank the corrupted water... the only time she would have been seen in this form was when she went to see the new King... Was she there? No, judging by her tone, she had long since left the planet...
"Hah, well it's nice to see another Vegetan saiyan getting out of there. I'm from Vegeta as well, but I only recently managed to make it to the planet. It's pretty chaotic over there now, what with the new King taking over and all." She would say, testing the waters to see if Leena knew about what was going on, and if her cover had potentially been blown. However, Leena didn't seemed to like the Empire very much, and that would silently relieve the young saiyan.
"You're very interesting Lancer! I'm not a techy type myself, but i'd be interested in hearing your story if ever you and Ms Leena have the time. You don't come by something like you every day~" Kinoko would muse, then glance over to Kohlrabi as she spoke. She didn't seem to like what it was that Kinoko did while on the planet, and she couldn't really blame the girl. Before she was corrupted, she didn't like the idea of this at all. She had wanted to be a fighter like her big brother, not some eyes candy for high ranking saiyans. Alas, the corrupted showed her just how much she did in fact crave that attention.
"Those pervs aren't all that bad. Most of them aren't very strong, and are too hesitant to make a forceful move on a woman. Besides, if I just play nice they tend to just get their eye candy and get too drunk to remember me the next time they come around~" She said with a light chuckle, glancing back to Leena as she said women are meant to be strong. Then Kohlrabi chimed in, asking her just what it was she did in the military since she had acted like a regular soldier, but there had to be more to her then that, no doubt judging by her looks.
"Well, you want my story kiddo? I'm telling you now it's not a pleasant one~" Kinoko warned her, eyeing her carefully to make sure she wouldn't offend her with her story.
"Before I came to planet Vegeta I was forced into being the Vegetan Army's General's concubine. I tended to that man's every desire carefully. If I didn't, he'd beat me to a pulp. When the new King took over, he killed all of the old advisors and the General, essentially setting me free. I didn't wait around to find out what this new Empire would be like, so I fled here. In return for letting me stay on the planet, I pledged my loyalty to the Overseer and the alliance. He gave me the rank of private for now, until I prove that I can be trusted. So, that's why i'm a soldier, and why I dress this way. It's comfortable, and kind of the only outfit I own anyways." She informed her. She didn't miss a beat in her explanation, seeming to be completely comfortable with the story.
It was actually really nice to bond with some people who actually were unique in their own perspectives. The Saiyan Hybrid claimed her life was a boring tale but the green eyed saiyaness simply looked at her and just her a firm smile. At least she didn't get the shitty life she had. She was constantly beaten and abused like a helpless animal. Her life was horrible as a kid. She never had parents. All she had was Drill leaders but they failed horribly at making themselves parent models. Instead, they would grab children's tails and constantly torture them. She was a victim herself sadly... She would keep her smile though as if she really was okay.
"You kids... It's odd seeing the new generation not needing to fight. It's a good thing honestly but... I think all saiyans should know something about combat. Seems like you're just civilian class that could have potential," she said with the smile still.
Lancer chuckled a bit, "Why thank you ma'am! Proudly serving as Leena's personal friend. You're welcome to get to know Leena and I more later! Hmmm~, if you like drinks I'd buy you one myself to make you happy but please! I only want to see the beautiful girls! That's all I ever want anymore!" he said bowing to her once more. Leena would shake her head, chuckling... "Damn fool..." she said. They would than bring up discussions on men at bars and how they'd be perverts and what not. It was funny how Lancer was quiet because perverted and unacceptable behaviors from men made him angry. However, he remained silent along with Leena who would just quietly listen. Indeed, all very interesting. However, the most interesting part came up was with the oddly dressed one's story. She was a slave under the high ups which made her feel weird... She was never a slave herself but she would kind relate to the abuse she went through. She would go from smiling to a serious face, "Those fucks... They were some messed up individuals..." she simply said.
She would wait for her to finish and begin her story, "I was abandoned by my parents as an infant... Supposedly my odd hair and eyes made my parents disgusted with me and my power level being supposedly low just made it worse. So, the Saiyan Empire got me and trained me in their separate program. There was those who would remain weak and work as lower class tier... There were those who had a decent power and were sent off world to do their tradition... Than there was the secret group who would be trained under the best elites of the Saiyan Empire. Their goal was to brutally force them to see, commit, and scar their soldiers... The worst part was... they were all children. Most of the kids from day one died near the end. There was originally three hundred of us... There was only about twenty four of us... I was luckily one of the twenty four..." she said softly as she looked down with a hint of sadness... Her best friend was the unfortunate that didn't make it out...

Planet Natto suddenly seemed a lot more nicer than Kohl previously thought of it after hearing their stories. She'd take poverty over being a whore or a child soldier any day, so at least now she can be a little more grateful for the things she has. "I.. I didn't know, I'm really sorry.." The hybrid muttered, ashamed of herself for having brought back some bad memories. "I didn't think things could've been that bad, I was just curious." She added on as she looked down at her feet and started to mess with her hands nervously. "I would fight too, if I had a reason or enough power.. The competition is so great, it might be a long long time before I can actually call myself a fighter. Hearing about the bad things that happened to you two just makes me more eager to get out there someday so I can prevent it from happening to anyone else."
Sniffing, Kohl brought her sleeve up to her face and wiped it off. She'd shake her head and tell herself no. The only possible thing she could think of that was worse than crying out loud was crying in front of strangers. Warriors weren't supposed to cry so why should she? "Gah.. dammit. I'm really sorry. I feel as if I've been rude to you two and now I'm getting all emotional. Its just.. why do such horrible things have to happen to people? Why does power have to corrupt people, can't there be someone good that's willing and strong enough to put a stop to all this crap?" The saiyaness shook her head. "Ridiculous.. completely ridiculous."
Kohl didn't have to go down such a hard path to get power, either. Leaving the planet would just be going way too out of her way for something like that. She'd just have to toughen up and accept she may end up as a regular grunt in the Alliance and work her way up from the bottom of the chain. It's what her parents would want, anyway. And honestly it was what was best for her if she truly wanted to be a real warrior. Today was turning out to be a real eye-opener for Kohlrabi. "Thank you both for your stories. They've made things a little more clear to me." The saiyaness would do a quick bow as she said this, just to further emphasize her thanks.
Kinoko would pout as Leena called then kids, and mentioned that there was no need to fight. First of all, she wasn't a kid! Well... okay TECHNICALLY she was only a few months old... but she had the body of a 20 year old! Did she really look like a kid? 'Erk... if so those guys really are perverts...' She would think to herself. The expression making it obvious that she had just thought of something she didn't like, as she scrunched up her nose. However, that expression disappeared when Lancer spoke, offering her a drink so that they could all get to know each other better and Kinoko's smile returned once more to her face.
"Oh I'd like that very much! I don't know anyone on the planet besides the Captain... well... I guess Lieutenant Colonel now~ hehe~" She would say with a hint of deviousness in her tone. She was a very different person when she hit the bars, and she wondered just how Lancer would take it.
Whenever Leena finally heard her story, she was clearly displeased by the actions of the Vegetan general, and Kinoko stayed quiet as she listened to her own story. It was a horrible one... but one that Kinoko understood all to well. Not all of her masters experiment's were 'sucesses' in her eyes, and so many of her brothers and sisters had been killed because of it. She tried not to think about that, as it pulled at the very core of her creation. She had been 'programmed' in a sense to be loyal to Nakiya, and she could never do anything against the woman willingly... even as the thoughts crossed her mind, it would physically hurt her. Even now, she could feel a wave of sickness washing through her, as if a warning to clear her head of these thoughts.
And so she did just that, shaking her head visibly and bringing her hands up to lightly tap her own cheeks to get the thoughts out of her head. She would look up to Leena for a brief moment, before her eyes wandered over to Kohl, noticing the few tears that had managed to sneak into her eyes.
"Oh... no hey don't worry about it! It's all in the past now! It sucks but our pasts make us who we are today. I don't think i'd be as strong as I am not if I didn't have to go through that~" She would say to the young hybrid saiyaness. She couldn't help but go over to her and hug the blue haired girl tightly in an attempt to comfort her.
"There will always be evil in the world, but that just mean's we have to get stronger to over-come it! Maybe there's no one out there now to protect people like us, but if that's what you want to do Kohlrabi, I believe that you'll find all the power you need! You just got to have faith in yourself!" Kinoko would say as she attempted to comfort the girl, pulling away from her though she kept her arm on the girls shoulders.
