"Hyaaah!" Dynasty called out as he quickly drew his blade from his sheathe in an arc, a light appearing between the two objects as lightning seemed to connect the two objects for a brief few seconds before dispersing into the air. Light sparks continued to dance along the edge of his blade lightly, crackling quietly as he held the blade up to the sky still, not moving even an inch. After a few more seconds, he slowly turned the blade back and replaced it within his sheathe once more. He'd had been repeating the process for a most of the day and it was beginning to take its toll on him as he huffed loudly with sweat rolling down his face and forearms. Normally, he'd be able to swing this sword for a day without tiring, but this was much different than he was used to. Instead of the average swing that relied on his body, he had begun to experiment with himself and tried his best to channel the energy within him into the lightning he had only discovered resided within him recently. He looked up and noticed an orange tinted sky now as he realized it was dawn now, whereas he had begun when the sun had just freshly risen. Was he really out here for that long?
Blowing out a deep breath he had been holding for a few seconds, he seemed to relax a bit as he proceeded to lean back against the trunk of the tree he had just been practicing with. Closing his eyes now, he began to try quickly relieving himself of the growing tension within his body as he felt rather drained, though his energy seemed like it was replenishing itself a bit differently than usual. Was this the power of Ki that he'd only vaguely practiced with before? It seemed like an awesome power, but Dyn knew he was still far too inexperienced with it's use. Removing his grip on his blade for a moment, he lifted the hand up and looked at his palm, focusing a bit before he watched as familiar sparks seemed to lightly move along his skin. Even after departing from his home, Dynasty had never seen something like this before and it was a bit for him to take in. Was this what lurked within him the whole time? Before, it only surfaced when he had become enraged, but now it seemed ever present with all his attacks instead as long as Dyn was willing to focus his energy into himself. It was a fearsome power, but he wasn't afraid of using it as much as afraid of allowing it to get out of control without proper restraint.
Looking around curiously for a few moments, Dyn confirmed to himself that he didn't really see anyone else around. He was about to try something a bit different now, something that could turn out more dangerous if he wasn't careful. Moving each hand to grab the sheathe and sword respectively, he began to feed his energy into the two, closing his eyes as he tried to visualize an attack just right for this. It took him some time, but soon enough his eyes shot open as his blade seemed to propel from his sword as hard as he could force it to. Though what followed took him by surprise as a slash of brilliantly bright energy seemed to fire off his blade and flew forward a bit before slamming itself on a tree and dispersing immediately. Though not by much, the tree seemed to show some burn marks where the attack had landed as well as some fractured wood. It surprised even the swordsman himself a bit but just as quickly as he was astonished by the new ability, he felt the hard cost of having used so much energy that day without any breaks. Quickly falling back against a tree, he gritted his teeth a bit before letting out a light laugh. "I could do this. . . The whole time? W-Wow. . ." he huffed lightly as he caught himself.
Earlier in the day, Hwa-Jae decided to do some simple training exercises on her way to Mount Kiwi. She spent the majority of the day training and working up a sweat, deciding that it was important to maintain her strength before she made it to the volcano. Who knew what kind dangers could exist on that island far beyond the actual mountain itself? Perhaps there were monsters or people of evil intent lurking within the shadow of the volcano. Of course, she could not disregard the danger of the mountain herself. While she had some control over fire as was the Kasai way, lava was something else entirely and she was not immune to being burned.
Hwa-Jae had to admit to herself, the possibility of having to find the lost brazier on Mount Kiwi intimidated her. Fuega called it a sacred mountain that spewed the fire of the very Earth itself, yet it was that same tale that drove Hwa-Jae to hesitancy. What could she possibly due to a mountain filled with burning hot magma? The brazier could be lost whenever Mount Kiwi erupted, destroyed in the consuming lava flow. It would doom her journey before it even begun.
Yet Old Master Fuega believed that the brazier was still on Mount Kiwi and Hwa-Jae needed to trust in the words of her master. Perhaps all she had to do was search the island and it would simple to find. Hwa-Jae likely stressed over nothing. Fatigued from her training, Hwa-Jae gave a loud yawn and stretched her arms wide, then looked for a suitable place to get some rest.
She didn't really want to sleep on the ground, as it would leave her wide open for anyone who is wandering through the forest. Hwa-Jae considered going to the Tower of Korin and seeing if she could find some respite there, but decided against it as she was still uncertain about the land of Korin even now. West City was still too far away, even if she applied all of her energy to flight. So, without much options to her, she decided to go vertical after all, but she went up a tree and settled onto a large branch to sleep.
Not little more than an hour later, the tree she slept in violently shook Hwa-Jae awake. "What the..." she muttered as she looked around. Then she heard the cracking noise reverberate throughout the forest. Her eyes went wide as she held onto the branch. Slowly, Hwa-Jae felt the tree begin to sway as gravity took the reigns and dragged the trunk towards the ground.
Hwa-Jae gulped. "Uh oh..."
The tree fell to the ground with a clatter, throwing Hwa-Jae off of the branch and tumbling onto the ground. In a mess of twigs and leaves, Hwa-Jae sat up dizzy from the fall. In the distance, she saw someone standing there dumbfounded by what he had done.
"Hey, you!" Hwa-Jae shouted in frustration! "What's the big idea knocking trees down! Someone could get hurt!" She walked over to the man, a heated glare in her eyes. She expected answers and an apology after all. A rude awakening like that only made Hwa-Jae cranky.
Resting his eyes but for only a moment, Dynasty found his attention quickly tugged towards an eerie creaking sound as he slowly lifted his lids to cast his gaze forward before watching as a tree started to creak. It happened to be the one he had just hit, though he didn't realize he had carried so much power into the strike as it flew at the tree. Another creak let out before he saw as it cracked and the bark began to tore. "Timber. . ." he lightly said to himself as he watched it smash into the ground, blinking a few times after. Part of him felt bad about destroying some random tree by accident when he didn't even have any need of lumber, but he figured maybe he could put it to use later if he decided to stay the night in the forest. After all, that large oak looked like it could make for good firewood for a day or two. Maybe it'd make for good training as well since he could build a bit more strength while he tore the tree to pieces with his sword.
His plans of a nice night out were quickly interrupted as he saw something else seem to fall with the destroyed tree, something that stood out easily against the light green with a bright red of it's own. Had he ended up injuring an animal as well? Quickly pushing himself off the tree he lounged back on, he stumbled forward a bit while using his sword as a cane until he could focus himself a bit before stopping just a few feet of the creature. Though as he grew closer, it had become far more apparent what he was actually dealing with. Watching her as she sat up, his suspicions suddenly were confirmed. It was a woman and a rather angry looking one as well. "U-Uh. Are you okay?" he said with a bit of worried, but her expression told him all he needed to know. Something about her made her seem awfully frightening to him and it probably had something to do with the fact he accidentally threw her out of a tree.
Watching her as she got up and began coming towards him, he couldn't help but feel a certain tension now as he proceeded to move backwards in response. At least until he felt his back hit against something solid and realized the trunk he'd previously been leaning against now was serving to obstruct his only path for escape. A bit stone faced, he turned back forward and watched the woman carefully for a few moments before listening to her words and blinking a bit in surprise. He admittedly had been expecting a lot worse than that, though her words still stung a bit as he realized she was right. Still, he threw up his hands at either side of him and thought of how he could defend himself. "I uh. . . Erm. . . I'm didn't mean to knock down the tree! It just k-kinda happened when I was practicing." he started his explanation, biting his lip as her glare didn't seem to make him feel any better. "But uh, I'm sorry. I thought I was all alone here! I promise!" he continued for a moment before he blinked a few times. Wasn't he all alone here? Why had she even been hiding in the tree in the first place? Narrowing his eyes a bit, he watched her a bit carefully now as he wasn't quite sure who might be in front of him right now. It could be more of those people that wanted his head. "Who are you even?"
Hwa-Jae rubbed the back of her head as the man who knocked down the tree she slept in apologized. She huffed a bit but took a moment to breathe deep and calm her frayed nerves. She shouldn't be rude to a stranger who did an accident; she just became cantankerous whenever her precious little sleep was snapped in such a manner. She recalled how angry she got with Cineza back at the temple whenever her best friend decided that a prank to wake Hwa-Jae was in order. This man was not Cineza though, so he did not deserve her scorn.
She sighed as she propped herself against a tree. Her blue eyes turned more sympathetic to the young man as she looked up at the forest canopy. "I guess it wasn't your fault," she said, "I'm just a little cranky after such a wake-up call. You really shouldn't blast trees though. All sorts of creatures make their homes in the branches, never mind the actual tree itself is still alive. You should train with rocks. They are much harder and aren't alive to harm. You can just go ham on a rock and nothing will happen. Most of the time at least. Just be mindful, you know?"
He then asked who she was with a bit of suspicion in his tone. Hwa-Jae gulped as she realized she forgot her own manners and quickly bowed in greetings. "I'm Seuta Hwa-Jae, or just Hwa-Jae if you want to be less formal," she answered with a bright smile, "Student of the Kasai Hato Katachi, Kasai Guardian in training. It's nice to meet you, though I would prefer not falling out of a tree to make my introductions. I was training in the woods earlier, then decided to get some sleep to recover after a hard session. Then you came along."
Curiosity then took over as Hwa-Jae walked a circle around. She could feel some kind of energy from him, which only piqued her interest further. "You have a sword, some padded for your clothes, and I can sense your energy," Hwa-Jae explained as she investigated him. "Quite strong too, at least compared to most folks I know. Also... also..."
Hwa-Jae's eyes lit up. "Aha!" She snapped her fingers as realization dawned on her. "You are... a man!"
Seeming pleased with herself, Hwa-Jae could not help but laugh. "It may seem odd, but I went years of my life without seeing men or boys. So you are like an anomaly to me. Hope that doesn't weird you out too much. Consider that the last man I met had a tail, now that was strange. Said he was a saiyan or something like that. I didn't know aliens were real. Made me glad to leave the temple, actually. I'm getting out there and learning a lot."
Hwa-Jae then looked around for her bags, only to be unable to see them. "Ahh! My stuff! Where'd my bags go?! I need to find them! Not only do they have my food, medicine, and clothes, but there's an important map in the bag! They must have fallen from the tree! You knocked down the tree, so you should help me!"
Hwa-Jae then dove into the tree, desperate to find her sacks filled with important goods.

Today Hisashi had chosen to take a day off from patrolling the eastern islands. Though to be fair, she didn't have much of a say in the matter. She didn't really want this day off- it was the first one she had ever gotten in her time helping her father Tessaiga ensure the eastern island's were secure and safe for the people living there. Like a bunch of sword wielding tree hugging hippies, they even prevented the wilderness and the life within said wilderness surrounding the big cities from being desecrated or destroyed. Hisashi's mother must've been a nature elemi if this whole thing about protecting the forests was so important to Hisashi and her father- but she didn't know. She had up and dissapeared after Hisashi's birth, so the father and daughter simply continued to do her job.
For now though, the other knights' as well as her father had urged her into going out and exploring the other regions of the Earth now that she was able to fly and cover some really long distances. 'I wonder how Ayami is doing..' The wolf girl thought to herself pretty much the entire way from one side of the planet to the other- from the eastern islands to the western lands. A long distance, indeed. But the wind elemi was worried for her water elemi friend. One could not question the amount of physical power Ayami had- but Hisashi still worried for her and her emotional state. 'Did they send me away for a reason other than to explore?' The zoanthrope couldn't help but feel like she was just a bother with her miniscule power.. There had even been some massive fight while she wasn't around. No one had even cared to tell her. She could've helped in some way, but no.. Now she just felt useless. There was nothing she could do to help her friends and allies and it bothered her to absolutely no end.
The wolf girl's self-reflection was interrupted suddenly as she heard something come crashing down against the ground not too far away from her. 'Was that a tree?!' Hisashi thought to herself- the loud noise had startled her outta her wits, so she was at least somewhat warranted to be on edge. Drawing one of her swords from off her back she began to approach the source of the noise. No normal animal could've done something like that- unless this were out in the plains where all those troublesome dinosaurs were. However, this place was much too far away from any flat rolling plains to be seeing any kind of dinosaur.
As she approached the source of the noise she could hear voices, but that wasn't the important part. One of them had an energy that was much like Flare's, though less intense. The other was a new sort of energy.. One Hisashi had yet to encounter. Either way, Hisashi could tell that there were either more elemi or just a lot of elemental Ki energy flying around. It was the same feeling she had gotten when she climbed the lookout. As far away as she bad nee from Ayami, she knew the girl was a water elemi before she had even known her name. "That's.. kind of a relief." The little knight of wind muttered with a sigh as she sheathed her sword onto her back.
Once she reached the source of the noise, Hisashi took note of the two people.. arguing? One obviously woke up on the wrong side of the tree today, and the other looked somewhat terrified. With the wolf ears on top of her head twitching every once in awhile to express curiosity and her bushy white tail swaying from side to side, the wind elemi chose to waited for the two to finish their little argument or whatever it was. Her gaze switching between the two frequently, going to whoever was speaking at the time. It wouldn't be too hard to notice her though, as she was pretty much a white and red object against a green background.

Staring forward a bit in slight fear as he was taken aback by the woman before him, Dynasty seemed like he was almost prepared to bolt out of there as soon as the first chance would present itself. She herself wasn't all that scary on her own, though Dyn found that since hearing a rumor, he was way more cautious around females like her. As far as Dyn had ever known, most women were normal. But Dyn had recently been told by his mentor that some women had the power to take what a man most holds precious and leave them changed forever. While his mentor had been meaning their wallet, the swordsman had instead taken this to mean their very soul and grew very fearful of some that seemed like they could be out for blood. He wasn't quite willing to lose himself yet with so many things unfinished.
Listening to her as he spoke, he hesitated for a moment before quickly nodding. "Y-Yeah. I really didn't mean it! Like I said, I didn't even know I could do that in the first place! Normally people don't. . ." he blinked a bit before realizing he wasn't really all that normal anymore now, realizing that he had just shot pure energy from the edge of his blade. With a bit of defeat, he came to realize that now that he was stronger, he would have to be more careful as well with this newfound power if we wanted to continue being able to get along with most people. Though he still wasn't sure exactly how he could have known she would be up there anyways. Slowly lowering his hands from before, he flatted out both of his hands, slamming them together before her before bowing his head in apology. "Again, s-sorry." he hesitantly spoke with his head still bowed, waiting now for some cue.
It wasn't until he noticed her own bow from the corner of his vision that he finally rose his head back up and looked curiously at the girl before him. Blinking a bit, he silently muttered the name back to himself to help him memorize it before he nodded his head to her as he listened to her story of just why she had been in the tree in the first place. Now he kinda felt bad for knocking her out, now realizing that much like himself, she had came out here to train. But with such a serene place, who wouldn't want to relax here while testing themselves? Now pulling his hands apart slowly, he waited a minute before turning his right one into a fist and repeating the same motion, uniting them one more as he nodded his head a bit. "I am Dynasty of House Flormai. I've also been called Dyn Dyn (Din-din)." he answered rather mechanically, as if he had to make the explanation a lot. "I'm-" he stopped himself after, blinking a bit as he looked to the woman with a bit of worry. Most people in the modern world didn't seem to follow the same traditions in his home, but even then would it be wise to bring up who he had been and what he was trying to achieve? "I'm just a Vagabond. Nothing else."
It was then when she circled him that he grew a bit uncomfortable, his eyes following her whenever possible as he could as she began explaining him. Looking around himself, he seemed to fit the description pretty well he supposed, but the energy thing kinda threw him off. Could she feel the strange lightning that Dynasty had just recently learned was resided within himself? Now that seemed to really get his attention. Maybe she could show him that so he would know if he met someone else like himself. Maybe she even had similar abilities! But just as quickly as it gripped him, it was lost in comparison to something else.
Feeling like a knife had cut through his pride in one quick motion, Dynasty couldn't help but feel a self conscious about her apparently taking so long to not only say what he was, but that she had to state it in the first place. Did he look far too womanly to easily pass for a male?! Doubts began to creep into his mind as he remaining stone-faced even throughout her explanation, a bit embarrassed with red dusting his cheeks as he crossed his arms in response, totally flustered just like that. "I don't know anything about tail p-people or that, but I am a man indeed." he said with a bit of humiliation.
Though his little moody moment was quickly interrupted as he watched her then began freaking out about losing her bags. "Yeah so. . ." Waiting a moment, Dyn cautiously glanced to the side and pondered whether this would be a good chance for him to run before he heard her state how it was his fault that she lost the in the first place. Part of him wanted to keep to the main plan, but invisible chains of heroism seemed to bind him in place for the duration of the thought before he sighed and nodded his head. "I'll help you." he hesitantly agreed, going to move over and dive into the tons of leaves as well. Within no other choice, he began digging through the flora in hopes of finding the woman's belongings.
Hwa-Jae dove into the branches of the broken tree desperately looking for her bags. While it would have been quite unfortunate if she lost her belongings such as her spare clothes, extra food, or medicine, she figured she could always just pop by a store and buy some more. If the worst case scenario came to pass, she'd simply have to do some work to get the zeni needed to purchase whatever she misplaced from this mishap. Maybe someone in West City could use a martial artist classically trained in calligraphy and could throw fireballs. Somehow her prospects for a job in urban life did not seem so great now that she thought about it.
As she rustled through the leaves, she considered what the man with the sword, who introduced himself as Dynasty or 'Dyn Dyn' said that he was unsure of how he even fired a blast of energy at all. It sounded like he was was a complete rookie in the way of ki which Hwa-Jae found rather interesting. She always marvelled at how the young Kasai in the Temple learned to control ki. She could hardly remember the first day she started to fly. What was the extent of Dyn's level with spiritual power? Was it brand new or did he know a little bit of the basics.
She popped her head out from the branches, looking Dyn over. "You never did something like that before, huh?" she wondered, "So you never projected your energy? What about something like flight? That's a basic skill. What about sensing other energies? Can you sense mine?"
To show Dyn, Hwa-Jae postponed her search for her things by floating above the ground until she remained almost motionless in the air. She smiled at him as she drifted around his head. "See? It's not so hard. This is one of the easiest techniques. To some it is called Bukujutsu, others call it sky dancing or levitation, but really it's just flying. It really opens the world up."
She then dove back into the mess of branches, tossing them aside in a desperate bid to find her belongings. "So you're a vagabond? Don't have a place to call home?" Hwa-Jae called out as she searched. "That's sad, unless you are on a journey. That's what I'm doing right now. Do you see Mount Kiwi far in the distance? I'm going to head there soon to look for something my Master put there. She put such items on three other mountains: Mount Frappe, Mount Paozu, and Fire Mountain. Quite the ways to go, isn't it?"
Which was why she needed to find that map as it would make her journey just a little more simple. Hwa-Jae wondered if it was wise to talk so much about her journey to a complete stranger, but Dyn seemed friendly enough. Although, the more she thought about it...
"Hey!" She popped her head out from the branches once more. "If you find the bag with my clothes in it, don't dig around in them! My socks won't fit your feet!"
The last thing she needed was someone trying on her socks and ruining them. Those were always the first to go in journeys, she figured, if she dove into puddles of water or trekked through mud or stomped through snow. Who knew what kind of environments she would have to endure?
As they searched, Hwa-Jae finally spotted one of her bags. She rushed towards it, rushing through the thick brush of the forest completely hiding her from view. She snatched at her bag but found that the string that tied it together was snagged somewhere down the line. Hwa-Jae followed the string but noticed that the line swished back and forth.
With a leap, Hwa-Jae took hold of the string, but also something large and fluffy. "Oh this feel nice," she said, stroking the fluffy object. It felt delightful to the touch, like the tail of a big furry dog. She then realized that this could in fact be the tail of a dog or some other animal and that she rudely, though gently, took hold with her gloved hands.
She followed the tail and noticed it ended with a girl with white hair and two fluffy animal ears on her head. "Oh..." Hwa-Jae said as she looked at the girl. She then dropped the tail, rubbing the back of her head in embarrassment. "Uh... I'm sorry for grabbing your tail. You're just... different compared to other animal earthlings. It's really fluffy and nice though!"
Hwa-Jae bowed to the animal girl. "I'm Seuta Hwa-Jae. Nice to meet you!"

These two were quite amusing to watch, honestly. She felt sort of like a creeper though, despite her standing in rather plain sight- especially after she learned their names just from listening in. The male one was acting as if he had never interacted with a girl before- or a person in general, really. Not that Hisashi could blame him. Until recently, Hisashi had only ever interacted with her dad. She just got lucky enough that the first people she met just so happened to be the nicest people on the planet, as well. They gave her ear scratches, hugs.. everything. It was a nice experience until a scary little girl showed up and put Hisashi on edge. The string of friendly people hadn't ended there, either. When she got lost in the bamboo forest she met a somewhat nice Majin- one that had offered her shelter from the rain. Kami knows she hated the rain, too. It made her smell like a wet dog for obvious reasons. After that, she had met a pureblooded fire elemi. She had a funny voice, and her little robot rather frightening. But at the end of the day, it was a nice experience.
'These people seem nice enough, maybe my lucky streak hasn't yet ended.. Or maybe I'm just really good at avoiding danger.' The wolf girl would think to herself, watching as the pair had dived into the leaves of the fallen trees- scrambling for the female's lost items. Or so she assumed, guessing by how they had been talking not a moment before. Hisashi was starting to feel like a major creeper, as she had yet to say a single word to let the two know she was standing there and watching.
The zoanthrope would place a hand to her mouth as she fought the urge to laugh over the whole sock thing. The idea of someone stealing her socks was ridiculous, and that's what made it so hilarious to the wolf girl. While there may have been some dirty implications, they probably went right over Hisashi's head. She was far too sheltered to understand anything like that. And let's just say Tessaiga, or any of the older knights for that matter, had yet to give her 'the talk'. She watched the female scuttle around in the bushes looking for her bags- this was pretty amusing, too. Hisashi had to keep her mouth covered with a hand while she giggled.
When she felt a hand grab onto her tail, she let out a gasp and her eyes would go completely wide with a bit of red filling her cheeks. Said red would steadily intensify as her tail was pet and stroked. Talk or not, her animal parts were not something people generally touched. The ears were perfectly fine, as those were just years- but the tail.. The tail was a whole different story. Talk or not, it was better to avoid touching it without warning her first.
Once Hwa-Jae dropped her tail, the fluffy appendage would curl up and press itself against Hisashi as much as possible. This was to show the girl's embarassment as she pressed her hands to her face, sort of. "Ah.. That's fine, it was an honest mistake." Hisashi shook her head, rubbing at her cheeks and lowering her hands back to her sides as she let out a sigh and turned to face towards Hwa. "My name is Hisashi Ikuto, it's nice to meet you too! Were you looking for something?"
With a light huff of annoyance, Dynasty quickly ripped leaves from the tree and threw branches to the side in an attempt to hurry up his search, figuring that even if he didn't want to really be digging through it all, it was his duty since he did kind of make this mess. Whatever she was talking about before seemed to be important to her anyways, even though it mainly sounded like things you could normally pick up at some shop. Then again, maybe some of it was rather precious to her like everything he had on himself held great value with the swordsman, even if he did have great conflict with the traditions surrounding them. Even if he had grown to hate most of them, he did still feel a bit of a longing for his culture that most of the urban world wasn't capable of satisfying. Hopefully in time though, he could finally return to his home.
For the most part, Dyn had slowed down a bit in his efforts as his thoughts took over his mind, but Hwa speaking up so suddenly quickly reminded him of his task and began to quickly start digging through the leaves one more. He didn't honestly understand too much of what she was talking about. Sensing energies? Is that what she was talking about earlier along with him being strong. . . Before awkwardly pointing out his gender. And flying? That was definitely something Dynasty didn't know how to do, though he'd never met anyone else that could. Still, it could be a useful skill for himself to have.
Watching Hwa with wide eyes as she began to levitate, he was surprised at first before he simply put a hand up to his head and let out a sigh. There was still far too many things he would have to learn. While his skill with his blade was quite impressive, mastering this new energy seemed like it would be necessary if he wanted to continue progressing. And as he watched her move around him, he knew right there that he would definitely need to learn that one if he was going to keep fighting. Maybe forming a companionship with this woman much like how he did with his new mentor would be beneficial to him, though he couldn't quite say that to her yet. "I don't know stuff like that yet. . . I only know how to use my energy to make my sword skills stronger right now." he answered simply, not having really realized that Ki could be used in those ways.
Soon enough though, they both returned to their searches as he dug through the fauna once more. It wasn't until she brought up how he didn't have a home that he froze in place before a hand clutched at his chest, hissing slightly to himself as he narrowed his eyes. It seemed that he would always feel this burning pain from his scar, his mark of shame, whenever he was forced to think about how he couldn't go home. Closing his eyes, he breathed in deeply before slowly blowing the air out and resuming his search. "I see. You're going to all those places then?" he replied after some time to calm himself before he resumed his work. "I've only heard of Fire Mountain. Vaguely. Supposedly it's a very nice place." he answered after some deliberation, though the supposed the information wasn't exactly reliable as he'd only heard it from wandering traders in his younger days.
Blinking a bit as shortly after she made a remark about her socks, Dyn couldn't help but feel a bit flustered from her comment. Just what kind of person did she think he was exactly? "Why would I want your dirty socks. . . Or any of your clothes?! I have my own you know!" he called out in response, keeping his face hidden with his work as he felt his cheeks slightly dusted once more. Why did it seem like all the women in the outside world had some kind of crazy going on in their heads? So far, the swordsman wasn't doubting it.
Continuing to rummage around a bit as he heard Hwa go stumble off somewhere, Dynasty started to feel fed up with all his efforts bearing no rewards before he eventually stumbled upon something curiously. Moving over, he went to use his arms to slowly lift up a rather large branch of the tree before he moves a hand down to scoot the bag pinned underneath out below him. Dropping his branch now, he quickly picked up the bag by the top before going to notice a piece of a sock hanging out. An obvious look of annoyance took over as he remembered the words from just now before simply tucking it in neatly and moving over to present the woman with her bag.
Climbing out of the foliage with a bit of care, Dynasty noticed as Hwa-Jae was bowing her head to someone and saying something that he couldn't quite make out from where he was. Raising a brow, he went to step over a bit as he assumed it must had been someone new that stumbled upon the scene, Dyn apparently attracting nearby everyone with his mistake. Though as soon as he saw just who Hwa was introducing herself to, he had to pause as his eyes widened. The first thing that caught her attention was the familiarly shaped ears, but his eyes soon picked up on the white fluffy tail as well. Even the way she seemed to act right now. She was as adorable as the young fox Dyn had taken care of for a bit when he was younger and he couldn't help but stare. His right hand began to rise on it's own as if demanding him to pet her before he moved the left to quickly force it back down and regain control over himself. Even if she looked like the fox he shortly took care of, it didn't mean that she would just let him pet her like the one. Slowly regaining his composure, he stepped forward and went to put a flattened palm against his chest in return almost like in prayer. "U-Uhm, hello. I am Dynasty. . . Or uh, Dyn Dyn." he answered while his eyes remained pinned on her ears for a short time before he quickly remembered why he came over in the first place, stepping back and presenting Hwa with her property, waiting for her to retake her belongings as he held it out for her to easily take. "I found these nearby. How many more bags do you have?" he questioned curiously as he looked to her now, though stealing a glance every so often at the furry ears nearby.
Hwa-Jae smiled at Hisashi as she introduced herself, but the red tinge in the wolf-girl's cheeks told her that she was embarrassed about something. Then she saw how close Hisashi kept her tail to her body and realization dawned on her. Tails on other animals were sensitive already, so if Hisashi got that beat red so quickly then... "Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to cause embarrassment! I hope you can forgive my trespass, it's just..."
She could not help herself, Hisashi just looked too adorable. Hwa-Jae scooped up Hisashi into her arms in a tight embrace. "You're just so cute!" she squealed, squeezing the wolf-girl in her arms. Hwa-Jae had come to admit she loved anything that even remotely appeared cute from cats to dogs to cat people and dog people. It caused her no end to grief with some of the more bestial sisters, especially the ones with big fluffy tails. Catching herself, Hwa-Jae set Hisashi down and bowed again in apology.
"Sorry," Hwa-Jae said, rubbing the back of her head, "I guess I got carried away again. I just have never seen anything like you. You are so different from the other animal earthlings. First I meet saiyans, now I meet... whatever you are. I must be super lucky to meet so many different people so soon. And Dyn too. You're strong too, I can feel your ki is much higher than the average person. That's super neat."
Speaking of which, Hwa-Jae turned to Dyn who seemed offended by her remarks about her socks, but waved it off. "I don't see you carrying any sacks full of your own spare clothes, so I don't see you having any spare socks! What if your feet got wet or dirty? You'd need a new pair because there are few things worse than walking around in wet nasty socks."
"Besides," Hwa-Jae continued as Dyn approached the two, "Elder Sister Pyya told me that men have dirty minds. You don't look like you roll around in dirt, so maybe she was wrong about some men, but you understand if I'm a little cautious. You were blasting trees earlier causing this mess. Not the best first impression."
Hwa-Jae took back her back and promptly sat down and counted her belongings to make sure everything was there. Thankfully all of her socks were in order, as well as her spare cheongsam uniform and sarashi bandages. "Good, nothing is missing. Just these two, Dyn, thank you very much," Hwa-Jae said, then she opened her other bag. She found that all of her food remained whole and edible. She also found her map somewhat crumpled but still readable. She breathed a sigh of relief as she tied her clothes bag shut, but kept her other bag open.
She looked to the two and then offered them some food. "I have plenty of bread, cheese, and beef jerky if you'd like," Hwa-Jae said. She then looked to Dyn. "When it comes to the mountains, I do have to visit all four to find the items my master put there. Mount Kiwi is just the first. Once I feel ready, I'll be going there. I've never been to an active volcano before, so it's sure to be exciting!"
"As far as learning more about ki..." Hwa-Jae put a finger to her chin, then shrugged and took a bite of her jerky. Once she was done eating, she continued. "It would take some time, depending on what you wanted to learn. Ki projection and ki senses are two different chapters from the same book, so to speak, so it depends on what comes naturally. Some find it easier to throw their energy around, while some find it simple to open their third eye. Not a literal third eye, mind you. That would be weird."
Hwa-Jae then turned back to Hisashi. Her eyes never left the cute white ears that sat on top of Hisashi's head. "What about you? What brings you into the forest? I was training then napping, then Dyn here broke the tree I was napping in. I guess he was training too, but it sounds like he needs more work. I never imagined this forest to be filled with people. I know there's only three of us, but if you count the Saiyan I met a while back then that makes four. This must be a popular forest."

Hisashi looked towards Dyn as the hybrid would introduce himself to her. His gaze being locked onto Hisashi's ears didn't really bother the zoanthrope, most people's first instinct was to touch them either because they looked soft or to check if they were real. The latter didn't really need proving as the ears would occasionally twitch, perking up if she were happy, drooping if she were sad, and glowing down flat against her head if she were angry. The tail reacted in response to her emotions too, and Hwa had already done some pretty thorough legitimacy testing of the sensitive and fluffy appendage. "Hello Dyn, I'm Hisashi-" Before anything more could be said, Hisashi had been scooped up into Hwa's arms. Not that she were objecting to the sudden affection. Her two favorite things in this life were shiny objects and affection. If she had to choose to go without one of these two things, she would go without the shiny objects. Affection was something of a drug to her, as she could never get enough of it and would never say no.
Hisashi was probably expected to attempt and break free from the sudden embrace, but she didn't. The wolf girl would be quick to return the hug. Sure, she had only just learned Hwa's name, but in her defense the lady seemed plenty nice. And honestly, Hisashi couldn't help herself. Once Hwa had set her down she would feel a tad bit dissapointed, but that's entirely because she was at least a little bit greedy when it came to hugs and ear scratches. "Don't worry about it! I'm okay with hugs and things like that. With the tail, though.. Well, a bit of a warning would be nice first." Hisashi reassured the elemi. But would a warning really be enough when it came to her tail? Whatever she had felt when it was touched and pet was definitely nice, but also very.. weird. Fuzzy, sort of. Hisashi's innocence was utterly intact when it came to these sorts of things, so she was very confused about it- maybe even a little scared.
Like before, Hisashi just sort of stood there while the two bickered about socks. At least this time they knew she was standing there listening and not just in the bushes like a creeper. "Dirty minded? What do you mean by that?" Hisashi asked as a genuine question. It wasn't something meant to be in defense of Dyn or anything, as that was unnecessary, but she was genuinely curious about what that was supposed to mean.
Once Hwa-Jae sat down, Hisashi would do the same. No need for so much standing around. The forest was very nice- to Hisashi, at least. So it would make a very good place to relax. When the female elemi would offer the wolf girl and Dyn Dyn some food, Hisashi couldn't say that she wasn't hungry. It wasn't very often that Hisashi brought her own food all the way out here, generally she would have to hunt for herself and set up a fire which was a tediously long process leaving her to grow increasingly hungry throughout the entire thing. "Thank you." The zoanthrope nodded politely as she took some of the beef jerky.
As she nibbled away at the food she had been offered, she listened close as Hwa-Jae spoke about four items. One for each cardinal direction, evidently. "A fudging volcano? Gosh, that sounds pretty awesome. Can I go with you?" The question could've come off as sudden, but this was gonna be the perfect excuse to explore all of the four lands. "Who knows, maybe you could use some help from a swordswoman!" Hisashi stated confidently, referring to the crossed swords on her back. She may not be an expert with Ki manipulation, but you could guarantee she knew how to fight with a sword or two- mainly two.
The question that was asked of her was certainly a good one. "Well, I patrol around these parts. It's a family business thing- me and my father do it together. We mainly stop illegal activity, but sometimes some really scary monsters do things to mess with the villages and the cities. So on top of doing what we're just naturally obligated to do, we can get some pay out of it as well." If she were as cute as Hwa-Jae thought, she most definitely didn't look like the 'monster hunter' type. "I didn't expect so many people to be out here, either. Then again I didn't expect someone to have built an unrealistically tall tower back in the eastern islands."
"I-It's nice to meet you. . ." Dyn hesitantly responded, still taken a bit aback by the personification of sheer cuteness that stood before him so casually. She was just so adorable and it was driving him crazy. Especially those fuzzy little ears! Watching the two curiously as Hwa seemed to similarly be unable to control herself and lifted the Hisa into her arms, he couldn't help but feel slightly jealous as once more he eyed the small dog girl. Still, the scene seemed to be pretty awkward to him as he just sorta stood there from a distance and held out the belongings. But as Dynasty watched, he could clearly see that the animal girl didn't really seem to mind the act. In fact, she instead returned the hug just as quickly. It was a cute little thing to behold, even if it did kinda seem to happen a bit quickly in Dyn's head. And after she explained her attitude towards such random affection, he wondered if he could get a chance to pet those ears at least once, but a shyness in the warrior forced him to keep his lips sealed on the subject.
Soon enough, the swordsman's attention was taken by Hwa as she seemed to address him and his strength, though right before that she said something peculiar to him. Tilting his head a bit to get a different look at Hisashi, Dyn had realized something from before. "Wait, this person isn't a saiyan? I was under the impression that uh. . . Because the tail." he explained awkwardly before rubbing the back of his neck a bit, looking away with slight embarrassment for himself. "I'm really not that powerful. I think I need to get a lot more stronger before I can say that I am." he answered after a brief pause, his other hand gripping his sword's sheathe a bit tighter for a moment before his fingers relax once more. "I'm sure there are plenty in the world capable of defeating me with ease."
It was then Dynasty was taken aback once more by the strange girl, listening to her explanation for a moment with an eyebrow raised before the last few words seemed to strike him back a bit. "I-I don't need spare clothes! I can just wash mine! A-And I don't get them dirty anyways! And I'm not some kind of thief that would go around stealing other people's clothes because mine are filthy! That i-isn't right!" he stumbled over his words to try clumsily explaining himself, not sure how someone could possibly be so casual about such accusations. It'd been a long time since he could have such a casual talk with a peer of his, the last one being with. . . He chose not to dwell on the thought. Such casual encounters were rare where he was from, though he did not shy away from the chance to have one when he had the confidence to, but he wasn't sure how to feel about being incriminated as a filthy sock stealer.
Though as soon as she made her other comment, he was struck dumb by the words she spoke. He waited for a moment before he simply blinked and patted his head a few times. Then slowly lifting the hand down, he awaited with a bit of dread before seeing that his head itself wasn't dirty. As far as Dynasty was aware, he did not have any filth lingering inside of his skull or inside his mind either. "I don't actually. . . Understand. I bathe regularly and my head doesn't have any dirt. I just have some leaves from the tree you made me dig around in." he answers after dropping his hand quickly to his side. It was clear among the three, he was not the one to come to on explanations of urban phrasing. He hardly even understood the people, much less their confusing ways of speaking.
Hearing her credit him for his rather simple task, Dynasty couldn't help but let a light smile creep onto his face. It had truly been a long time since he heard something like that and he enjoyed being praised every so often. Once again, it reminded him a bit of his home where he could help out people all the time. Though soon enough, he realized what he was doing and quickly moved a hand up to brush against his mouth, giving a light cough that seemed forced before lowering it to reveal the ever rare smile now had vanished. "Of course. I am always happy to lend my assistance to those who ask of it." he answered simply, trying his best to sound plain though a hint of eagerness seeming to course through his voice. Watching the two as they sat, Dyn felt a bit awkward about being the only one still standing and quickly moved to lower himself onto his rear, crossing his legs and setting each palm on each knee. Upon hearing the offer of food, he seemed about ready to refuse before his stomach seemed to release a growl in rebellion, prompting Dyn to lightly blush again. "I will accept your generous offer." he says with a bow of his head before reaching over to grab a piece of bread, starting out by digging into it rather ravenously before realizing the two of them were still in front of him, slowly down quickly as he remembered his manners and began to eat smaller bits with each bite instead. His stomach was hungry now and all he really wanted to do was to fill it, but he supposed that he couldn't embarrass himself in front of the two as well.
"Going to an active volcano is exciting to you?" Dyn questioned curiously, though he somehow could manage to see it fit as he looked at Hwa once more. Everything about her seemed to hint that she must have been fairly acquainted to things like this if she was so casual about the idea. Still, it did seem to persist a bit in his mind as he watched the girl for a bit before he heard Hisa offer her assistance. Blinking a few times, he waited before going to look to Hwa. The girls didn't really know each other, but the smaller of the two was already willing to lend her assistance. Was this generosity shared amongst most outsiders? He helped people, though he often felt like it was more of a sense of duty instead. Seeming a bit surprised to hear the younger girl state she was a swordswoman, Dyn's eyes wandered momentarily before resting on the pair of swords that seemed to rest on her back, a bit surprised though seeming a bit pleased as well. He did have a sword of his own after all and he believed it was the most noble weapon. Still, he couldn't help but feel a bit awkward not having noticed the two blades resting on her back until now.
Hearing Hwa explain the time it takes to even learn how to properly utilize Ki, Dynasty realized that while he had learned some stuff on his own, it was probably all fairly basic things that didn't even graze Hwa's knowledge. Perhaps he had a lot he could learn from the young lady. Pausing for a moment, he seemed to consider this situation before figuring he'd take a risky move. "I believe it would be dangerous as well. If you would accept me as a companion, I would also be willing to lend my assistance to you, provided that no harm would come to those undeserving on this trip." he stated rather formal tone, seeming a bit more serious than before as he watches Hwa. "And along the way, perhaps you could assist me in learning the various ways Ki can be used? I'd be most grateful if I could learn even a little bit from you." He explained himself, though he realized it sounded more like a trade than an offer for assistance like he had meant it to. As well as that, he couldn't help but feel perhaps he had overstepped his bounds as well. This was her quest after all, what right did he have to help her? "It's. . . If you want, of course."
After Hwa asked her question, Dyn turned his gaze to Hisashi as well as he figured he admittedly was a bit curious to the answer. Hearing the answer, he felt a bit of surprise. Though along with the surprise also came some joy in the fact that she was like him in wanting to help the less fortunate with their troubles. Dynasty figured whoever her father was, he must had been quite a good man to had set such a good example for someone so young to feel obligated in helping others similar to how Dynasty did. "I'd be happy to meet this father at some time. He seems like he could be interesting to meet." he said after she finished, figuring maybe he could learn a thing or two about his whole job from an outsider's perspective.
Hwa-Jae took a moment to regard the two as they ate and decide what she thought of them after first impressions. She already decided she liked Hisashi who was just the cutest person she ever met. Though the furry ears and busy tail were a bit off-putting at first considering how different she was from most zoanthropes, but her adorable face wiped away such hesitation. The fact that Hisashi liked hugs and Hwa-Jae liked hugging her made for a mutually beneficial agreement. Hwa-Jae hoped they could become good friends after this initial meeting. She wondered if Hisashi liked her tail brushed and filed that mental note away for later.
As for Dyn, she liked him well enough, even though they met on the wrong foot, what with him blasting the tree Hwa-Jae slept in. Despite such a bumpy start, he seemed like a nice young man who truly had no ill intentions towards her or her socks. There was something about him that made Hwa-Jae... was sympathetic the right word? Perhaps it was, considering she felt that Dyn appeared to be a fish out of water in more ways than just being in the middle of the forest. She could understand perhaps finding Hisashi in the woods what with her more canine features, but Dyn appeared a little more refined. Perhaps they could be friends as well, though Hwa-Jae was not so intent on brushing Dyn's hair. He didn't have a lot of it. He also didn't look huggable.
There was also the issue present when in regards to Dyn's lack of knowledge with ki. He seemed like a novice, one with a great deal of potential already awakened and more bubbling beneath the surface. Perhaps that is why he was out in the forest, to practice with this strange new power. Hwa-Jae thought of her own training with ki, but recognized that she was fortunate to have trained with such when she was a child. Dyn obviously did not share such a luxury. He did not even know how to fly, let alone sense other energies.
Yet perhaps Hwa-Jae could be the one to teach him. Old Master Fuega often said that one of the best ways to learn was to teach. Perhaps she could be such a teacher to Dyn to help him control his power. Though she could not tell what she would learn from such training on the master's side of thing, she held no doubt that it would benefit them both.
When Dyn asked if Hisashi wasn't Saiyan, Hwa-Jae shook her head. "For starters, Hisashi is much cuter than the saiyans I met," she explained, "Except for the baby. But also their tails all look like they belong to monkeys, and they seem like a surly bunch. They all just seemed really grumpy with the situation they were in, and each other. One saiyan gave me a complete rundown of their history. It all seemed rather depressing that they seem to only value violence, but I think some try to break away from that mould."
Dyn then seemed rather offended by the implication that his clothes would get dirty at all. "If you're not getting dirty, then you aren't training very hard," she quipped. Hwa-Jae struck a heroic pose as she tried to inspired Dyn (and perhaps Hisashi). "You need to get down and dirty! Roll in the dirt and don't forget to sweat! The more you sweat in training the less you bleed in battle! And you know that blood is harder to get out of clothes than sweat, so keep training hard and maybe you won't bleed!"
Having calmed down, it seemed the two decided to address the issue with the volcano that Hwa-Jae planned to visit. "I don't think it's a fudge volcano," Hwa-Jae said to Hisashi. "Although that would be really nice. I haven't had fudge in a long time, and a whole volcano out of fudge sounds yummy. Though it could also be a trap. Imagine a whole volcano of chocolate and just eating and eating. You'd be stuck there and then you'd get fat. Now I have to determine if I'd rather face lava or chocolate."
When Hisashi said she was a swordswoman and pointed to the blades strapped to her back, Hwa-Jae giggled and nudged Dyn. "Hey, you have a sword too. Maybe you two should train together or have a little spar. My zeni's on Hisashi though, no offence."
"As for if going to an active volcano is exciting, of course it is. I've been in my temple for a long time, I'm just glad to explore the world in the assistance of my order. As for getting help, as much as I'd like it, I don't want to put anyone in undue danger because of me. I can withstand intense heat as part of my Kasai training. Unless you two say otherwise, I don't think you can. Besides, I feel this is something I have to do on my own. This is my journey and my burden to undertake."
It seemed like a simple thing to deny them of the help they offered, but Hwa-Jae really was concerned with their safety. A volcano was no joke even to her, as she did not know how well her training with fire was going to deal with the prospect of taking on molten lava from the Earth's mantle. There was also the question of the Black Fire Witch that Hwa-Jae neglected to mentioned. While Old Master Fuega said that the Witch was focused on the Kasai Temple, Hwa-Jae also guessed that if she exposed herself to the Witch, the ancient foe of the Kasai would come after her. If that happened, those who accompanied her would be under threat as well.
Hisashi then mentioned her father and her patrol the forest, as well as the Tower of Korin. Hwa-Jae tried to picture Hisashi's father but the image was less cute than Hisashi. Her mind whipped up the image of a giant wolf-man of snarling teeth, sharp claws, and scraggly fur carrying a massive sword. The complete opposite of Hisashi, all things considered.
With that nightmare in her head, Hwa-Jae tried to dismiss by asking about the Tower. "I flew by it the other day, but only briefly. Do you know much of it, Hisashi? Does anyone live in it, does it serve a purpose? What about this Korin that the tower was named after?"

"Saiyans.." Hisashi muttered underneath her breath. She had almost forgotten about them. Atsuko hadn't vanished until after they showed up, so she was at least somewhat warranted to dislike them. 'They come in, lasers blazing, threatening to destroy everything if they don't get what they want.. What a bunch of bullies.' The wolf girl shook her head- she felt that if those saiyans had just left well enough alone, Atsuko would still be around, safe and sound and able to train Hisashi. Didn't seem like it was ever gonna happen now, though. So maybe sticking to Hwa-Jae for her journey would be the best course of action to take. "I don't like saiyans. Saiyans are a bunch of rude bullies." Hisashi stated in an irritated tone that would steadily raise in volume until she was yelling. "Atsuko and Cambia are the only good saiyans! The rest can just go, and leave this planet alone! I don't want them here messing everything up!" Sounding more and more distraught, it was clear that the zoanthrope possessed some sort of racial bias. She felt disgusted to even think that someone as nice as Atsuko or Cambia could really be one of those 'monkeys', but they weren't like the rest of them. Definitely nothing like those ones that had come to earth like they owned the damn place.
Hisashi had to take a deep breath, as she knew where her anger could lead. Even if she were to accidentally tap in to her hidden hybrid potential and lose control, she had no doubt that these two could take her down easy. As relieving as the thought was it was also just as irritating. Everyone was growing stronger while she remained weak- nothing more than a fluffy mascot. "Bah, I'm sorry, it's just.. It's maddening. It would help if we just didn't talk about those-" Hisashi had to stop herself from spitting out some crude racial slur. "..Saiyans." She finished with a deep sigh. The wolf girl's ears would be twitching a bit more aggressively than they had been before, giving a visual expression of her irritation.
When Hwa-Jae seemed to take 'a fudging volcano' in a literal sense before proceeding to describe the mental image she got of something so ridiculous, it would help Hisashi forget about the saiyans- at least, for now. "I've never had chocolate before. Come to think of it, I don't think I've had candy in general. Me and father get our food by ourselves, since we don't have much money and it's healthier to be more dependent upon oneself." Hisashi would scratch her head as she thought about it more. "Is it possible to make your own chocolate? Where does chocolate even come from?" The wolf girl had many questions about the delicious gift to mankind that is chocolate, but now the fire elemi was striking a heroic pose and giving the two a pep-talk.
"I don't know.. To be honest, other than my father teaching me how to use a sword, I'm mostly self-trained. I'm not strong at all- I don't know why you and Dyn here can't see it, but right now with these weights on you could probably flick- provided you're using your full strengths, I would probably be knocked right out." Hisashi didn't mind the dirt part. She lived in the wilderness, after all. Just a fuzzy tree hugging hippie with hardly any zeni to her name. Not that zeni meant anything to her. If she wanted something, she would earn it through some other means or make it by herself.
Hisashi was not just gonna take a simple no for an answer. Even if said 'no' were being given as an answer just because Hwa-Jae thought she couldn't handle it. "I can take it, I know I can!" Hisashi insisted, although she knew she most likely couldn't. She definitely handled the heat better than she did the cold, but the inside of an active volcano was far different from a regular desert. "We're both elemi, right? Maybe I can learn how to resist the heat. Dyn could, too." If Hisashi could learn to flow like water, perhaps she could learn to be like the fire. Perhaps even learn to be as one with it. Sure, she wouldn't be throwing fire balls around just like she wasn't spraying people with water, but still.
Just as Hisashi was getting hyped up to prove to Hwa she was more than capable, she had asked about the lookout. There was a simple answer to it, but maybe Hwa was looking for a more thorough answer. "Well.. Korin's tower is just the start of the pole. It's not really Korin's tower anymore, either. Soon it's gonna be Ayami's tower. Once you go up beyond that though, you can attempt to reach the lookout. It's so high above the clouds that with the right training, you could see any place on earth. That's Atsuko's job as Kami of earth- she watches over everything and trains new fighters to defend the planet if she ever happens to fail or succumb to corruption. She's my teacher, or at least she was going to be. It's because of those saiyans that she vanished, and Ayami who was also one of her students was gonna train me too but.. some things happened, and ever since then I've just been wandering around trying to get stronger and at the same time find a purpose. When you said you would be traveling to the other regions of the earth, it felt like this 'purpose' I've been searching for was thrown right in my face. So I want to come, too. If I do a good job maybe I could prove to everyone that I'm more than just some fluffy ears and a bushy tail!"
Dyn couldn't help but feel a bit timid around the two women, still not entirely showing comfort despite the two having proved they seemingly didn't have any harm to show him. He quietly chewed his bread for a moment as he let his eyes wander, pondering for a moment to himself before he gripped his knee a bit harder. These two women were strange to Dyn, though maybe they had ended up being more like him than he knew. Perhaps less so Hisashi, though she certainly was different in a way, but something about Hwa made him a bit hesitant. She seemed casual, yet she was also not like the simple people in the city that Dynasty had met. She reminded him of something, but at the same time Dyn didn't know much about her. It was perplexing and it made Dynasty feel a bit uncomfortable. Still, he felt some sort of familiarity between the two of them that he couldn't place. Lifting his gaze up to meet hers for only a moment, he quickly changes it to look towards Hisashi.
Dynasty admittedly had been a bit startled by the words of the wolf girl, surprised that he had already managed to screw up this early into greeting someone new. Biting his lip a bit, he tried his best to figure out a way to resolve the problem. Moving a fist over his chest, he gave a rather sudden bow to Hisashi, albeit awkwardly from his sitting position, before lifting his head to up look at her once more. "I apologize. I did not mean to annoy you with my poor choice of words. I didn't realize they were such a. . . Hostile people. I haven't ever had the chance to meet anyone that wasn't human before now, really. . ." he said cautiously as he rubbed the back of his neck a bit awkwardly. Why did dealing with social things always have to be so much of a hassle for him? "I'll try my best to not mention them once more." he nodded to Hisashi, acknowledging her request. It wasn't really like he had much to gain in pursuing in the topic either way.
Though soon Hwa's response to his earlier comment seemed to catch him a bit off guard, making him have to seriously think. Just because he wasn't dirty, he wasn't training hard enough? He blinked a few times and looked down at himself, noticing just how clean he was right now despite having spent the whole day out here, the only evidence of which being the sweat that ran down his body along with some leaves on his clothes that had only gotten there because she made him go tree diving. Looking back to her to see her strike a pose, his face darkened a bit as he just didn't know how to react a bit. Perhaps this was part of the secret to getting stronger then? Getting dirty in his training and striking poses? What kind of pose could he even strike without looking silly like she was now? So many questions rolling around in Dyn's head, he was started to get a bit dizzy with all the multiple thoughts that fought for his attention until he shook his head a bit and sighed. "I'll keep that in mind then. Though I try not to get my only set of clothes dirtied." he finally answered in response. "And I'm not rolling in dirt! That just doesn't make sense!" he added after a few moments.
Then looking between the two, Dynasty seemed to watch as they conversed over chocolate volcanos and candy trips. The conversation seemed like it was always going to fairly strange places out of nowhere, though Dyn didn't quite seemed to mind as he did admittedly find a bit of amusement in the shifting. "I don't know about fudge, but I did get chocolate sometimes when I was young. It was a rare delicacy for my people, but we would get it every couple of years or so from traders. . . It's very tasty." he finishes in a somewhat childish way, seeming to have fond memories of enjoying the treat with his parents and some of his friends in his younger days.
Then Hwa seemed to make a remark about the sword Dyn had and going up against Hisashi, with the wolf girl chipping in her opinion about it. He blushed a bit at Hisashi's comment before shaking his head. "I wouldn't do that. I try not to use more strength than necessary. And besides that. . ." he looked down at his sword, staring at it for a moment before he sighed. "I don't draw my blade in combat unless it is necessary. It's different for casual training, but. . . I'd rather not have it see bloodshed if it does not need to." he answered finally, taking a second to readjust the sword to his hip before looking to Hwa. "So I guess she would win a sword fight." he nodded his head.
"If you want help, then you should accept it when it's offered." he said rather bluntly in response after Hisashi perked up at the topic, looking between the two before he returns his gaze to Hwa. He didn't know if he could withstand the heat really, but he wouldn't know the answer really unless he tried. Still though, the Wolf's words had confused him a bit admittedly. From his point, Hwa looked like an ordinary human woman. Well. . . Perhaps not ordinary, but still a human none the less. He didn't know what an Elemi really was, but the more races that got thrown into the conversation, the more he found himself confused. "If you do not wish for me to assist, then I won't pursue it any longer. I hope your trip won't be too difficult though."
It was after that he heard Hisashi's words, listening deeply to her story as he seemed to visibly grow a bit uncomfortable. From what he could hear, her story seemed to not be too far from his own. Part of that seemed to make it hard for him to deal with it, but he did seem to pay careful attention to her words. "I can understand your search for strength and acknowledgement then. I can't properly gauge your strength without a fight, but I believe you could be fairly strong, despite what you said earlier about flicking you. And I can also admire your search for strength because I similarly am after the same thing, though I don't know if becoming stronger will ever really change anything for me. It's just all I thought I could do." he answered with a light smile towards Hisashi, seeming to feel a bit of kinship towards her now as he found a different sort of respect for the wolf girl.
