Jie Shan was back in the chamber. It had only been a day since their last training, but Jie Shan was eager to get Melonia back into the chamber. She needed her training, especially if she was going to become a Super Saiyan as she desired. The gravity training had helped Jie Shan to it. It would do wonders for her if she kept up with it. And, thankfully, he knew an expert on the Super Saiyan state. In fact, she was watching him right now.
"Rudieri," he called out, "Did you examine Melonia's bio data like I asked?"
"Of course," came her answer, "You know me, I don't mess around when it comes to these kind of things."
"And?" Asked Jie Shan.
"And what?" She asked right back.
"What are the results?" He asked with a sigh, "Like, do you think she can-"
"Jie Shan, the results are inconclusive, as they would be with most people" she explained, "She's Saiyan. So, of course, the innate potential is there. But she's not far along enough for me to say 'yes, she's close' or 'no, she's hit a wall'. My science doesn't work that way, sadly. I'd love if it did, but some of it is guesswork, some of it estimation based on previous ascendances. Your own transformation provided me with a lot of data, some stuff I'd never considered before."
"I see," mumbled Jie Shan, "Well, you'll keep an eye on her at least, right?"
"Can do! Speaking of which, do you want me to send for her?" She exclaimed.
"Please," answered Jie Shan, "And set the chamber to twenty times gravity as well, if you would."
"Roger that," said the Saiyaness scientist.
And immediately the chamber whirred to life. A pressure came down on his back, like someone had added weight to it. But it gave him no trouble. He'd already done this setting before. Going backwards wasn't the problem. Moving forward was.
