"Are you sure you have to do this, Hisashi?" Tessaiga would asked as he and his daughter proceeded down a hallway within the massive Ikuto Residence. The wolf girl walked with a determined sort of stride. "I do, father.. It seems completely random, but yes. I've got to get out there and find the answers I seek. I need to learn to know myself better." Hisashi responded with strong confidence in her answer. It was still early in the morning and Hisashi hadn't even gotten ready for the day yet. Right now she was headed for her room to get changed. That morning at breakfast, the family of two had discussed normal things.. weather, any strange dreams, etc. However, Hisashi had turned the conversation around onto a far more serious topic.
She was going to be leaving.. and not just leaving the house, no. She was going to be leaving planet Earth and headed for Blehbarry. The wolf girl claimed it was to find answers, but Tessaiga just couldn't see what possible answers Hisashi could find by going off planet. Answers to what, even? Hisashi stepped into her room and shut the sliding door behind her before her father could enter thus shutting it in his face. Sitting of the center of the room down on her knees, Hisashi let out a deep sigh and closed her eyes. After a moment to calm down, the wolf girl changed out of her usual clothes. As nice as the outfit was, and as good a job as it did making her cute, it wasn't going to be conventional for traveling or fighting. For this journey she would need to change into something more.. sleek, if you will. Hisashi knew she was going to be very mobile.
Hisashi may not have been the worlds best fashion designer, but she did have a basic grasp on what would be both combat-worthy and stylish. Something to help her maintain her femininity while also being able to fight without being restricted by her clothing. As she was redressing, Hisashi took notice of her tail before a realization would come to her. With such sensitive appendages, combat could still be unnecessarily dangerous. Cutting the tail off or even damaging it in general could potentially cripple Hisashi for some time.. she couldn't allow something like that. 'The tail cannot be so easily covered.. But the ears.' The wolf girl would look over towards her dresser, taking note of a black ribbon resting upon it.
Through a delicate but also tedious process, the knight of wind would redo her hair. Brushing and combing the delicate white hair back in some places and hiding her ears within it somehow. It wasn't easy for sure, but at least now she could keep the fuzzy appendages on her head hidden. The tail was going to be an entirely different story. However after a quick search of her room, she found a piece of clothing that was akin to something like a girdle. Triumphant in her search, she wrapped her tail around her waist before wrapping the girdle around it and her lower back in order to hide the tail completely.
After she was finished getting dressed, the zoanthrope would take a good look at herself in her mirror. The change was.. certainly something new. But honestly, it would not be too hard to reverse. If her tail and ears weren't hidden, one could still tell that this girl was Hisashi. Without them though, she lacked her two most defining features and appeared as a completely new person.
As Hisashi would exit her room, she would see her father Tessaiga standing at the door with something in his hands held out in front of him. Something wrapped in some very old looking cloth. Not ancient old, but definitely a decade or two. "You're going out there to find your mother, aren't you?" He would ask. Hisashi would only look to the side without voicing a response. She was still mad that even after so long, Tessaiga would not tell her a damn thing. With a sigh, he handed over the mysterious cloth-wrapped object over to Hisashi and stepped back. "If you're going out there to find her.. You're going to need that. Without that she won't believe that you are her child. This is even assuming you can find h--" Tessaiga would be cut off. "I will find her." Hisashi had snapped. "I have to.. I won't rest until I do, father. If I can find out if she's alive or dead, then I can stop worrying about it. On top of that I think it's time I figured out what options are out there in this vast universe for someone like me."
Words could not describe what Tessaiga was thinking. Instead, he stepped forward once more and gave Hisashi a quick hug before pulling away, keeping a hand on her shoulder. "I know, sweetie. I won't ever be able to stop you.. You're growing so quickly. I just.. I don't want you to be dissapointed. But you know what? Do it.. Find her, Hisashi. Find your mother. Don't let anyone stop you from chasing your dreams and completing your goals. You have the willpower and the potential to change everything, so I want you to exercise that gift and do whatever it is you set your mind to." And though the hug had been brief, Hisashi was quick to return it.
"Thank you father.. Thank you for finally understanding." Hisashi let out a sigh of relief before leaving the mansion. Her.. 'ship' was waiting for her just outside the mansion. Parked right out front in it's 'land' mode. Placing the wrapped up object onto the bike, Hisashi would start to do a sort of check on the vehicle to make sure it would run properly.
