It was finally time to go back to Makai, it seemed as if she had been away from her home for far too long. Having left the Kami behind within her own palace made her nervous, her only comfort was to know that Bernael was there to keep her in check. She knew little of her nephew, but he seemed an honest type, and far too excited to meet family to betray her so quickly.
She would draw the gateway sword currently sheathed at her side and swipe it at the air in front of herself and Hakobe with a sigh. This was going to be an extremely stressful and dangerous encounter. Sure this time she would have Hakobe at her side, but his power was currently limited to even less than her own, and without the Kami's blood, she couldn't unlock his true potential. She definitely hoped by the addition of Atsuko's DNA to Hakobe's existing gene pool would make him a little bit less of an ass.
Hakobe was actually the first to step through the demonic portal, not waiting for his master to say a thing to whether it was safe to go through or not. He simply strolled right on through, appearing within the throne room of the Demon Palace within seconds.
"Well, that was weird" Hakobe would say lazily, stuffing his hands into his pants pockets as he looked around the grandiose room, seemingly unimpressed. Moments later, Nakiya would step through the portal, replacing the sword at her side just as the dark swirling energy vanished from behind her.
"Yes well, the portal wasn't completely stable, so that would have felt strange. Idiot you could of died." Nakiya warned him, already walking towards the door.
"Yeah, but I didn't. that's what I get for being made to be so perfect." He would say with an arrogant sigh, soon following after her. He would fall silent, if only long enough to look, and even admire the castle around him.
Nakiya had to admit that she was quite thankful for the momentary silence. The large brute of a saiyan behind her was only awake for a day, and he was already driving her up the wall. Perhaps she made him too pure of a saiyan... sure that was the point but, Kinoko didn't turn out anything like this, and she was generated with the DNA of the Overseer's parents and uncle... the later of which would have surely made her act as Hakobe did... There must have been something in her program that she had missed, or something that hadn't yet had time to take place... she would have to run some scans and tests later... perhaps take advantage of his time in incubation again if she could get her prize from the Kami.
In the meantime, Nakiya would stop by her own quarters, retrieving a flask locked away within one of her cabinets, and would then turn to Hakobe.
"Stay here. She already hates saiyans, the last thing I need is for you to screw it up with your loud mouth." She would say harshly to the large male who would only raise an eyebrow, then bring his arms up in a shrug as he meandered back into Nakiya's quarters, throwing himself on top of the large bed, folding his arms behind his head.
With a small grunt of approval, Nakiya would then reach out to feel for Atsuko's energy, immediately heading off in that direction while placing the flask into the pouch strapped at the back of her belt.
It wouldn't take her long to reach Atsuko's location, using her ki sense to feel out the girls familiar energy.
"Ah, miss Atsuko. I'm so sorry to keep you waiting, I had to make a short detour in the living realm before returning. It's my understanding that Bernael made it here safely? I trust you find his presence here comforting?" She would say with a smile creeping up onto her features. Her irritated demeanor from moments before seemed completely gone, instead replaced by the gentle nature she carried with Atsuko the moment she had arrived within Makai.
The Albino Saiyan would feel a familiar presence appear within the Demon Realm. She could also sense something of a decidedly less powerful nature alongside her... Somehow, there were traces of familiarity in that too, but it still felt like it's own being entirely. The signature was off from everyone she had met, so the Knight didn't think too long on it. Instead, it seemed that Nakiya was heading directly for the Saiyan now. That made some sense, it'd been a considerable amount of time since their last interaction, and truth be told... She was feeling a little antsy about the entire thing.
The red haired woman hadn't been the worst person to her in recent memory, but there were still things that didn't sit well with her. The fact she corrupted Jarvis, and sent him spiraling down this path in the first place... The accusations she received, in front of a four year old no less. And that was on top of everything else that was going to pure shit in Atsuko's life at the moment. There was one grace in that Nakiya was true to her word and brought Bernael here... It did ease her a bit, but it wasn't a permanent solution.
She'd feel the Demon Queen as she approached, and the first thing Nakiya did was apologize for the delay, as she had to make a detour in the other realm... The Saiyan would give an understanding nod. After that, the Demon Queen would ask if Bernael's presence here proved to be comforting. "It has... And I was really trying not to be unreasonable, I just can't lie that I've been feeling cooped up lately.", the Knight admitted. Now that Nakiya was here, there was no reason to do anything that she was thinking about for awhile now.
"I know this is your home, but it feels... Unnatural to me. The very air itself feels alien to me. Moreover, I can't sense any of my friends, or contact them. I'd at least want to let them know that I'm alright.", the Saiyan explained. She felt a little bit like a bad person, being so unfair as she was... But was it really her fault that her mind was in a screwed up place at the moment? Jarvis walked the path of Athren and became even worse, killing several people on Earth and then taking their bodies and bones as trophies...
Then her own brother, he turned on her. He cared more about his fight and victory. It was just... Amazing to see what she could truly count on in this life. How little family actually meant. "People have been developing a habit out of hating me. I suppose I can't entirely blame them.", the Knight then mused aloud. Her location had been a balcony on one of the higher floors of the Palace, and she was glancing out towards the setting red star, a sad smile present on her face all the while. She clashed with the environment here.
Even in her new garb. "Seems that's all Saiyans are good for. Gathering power and hatred.", she'd comment in a bit of a cynical tone. "I'm sure someone has a really good sense of humor in deciding that I would make a good pick for the Guardian of Earth, don't you agree?", she'd ask hypothetically, turning her gaze to Nakiya. This was where her mind had been for awhile now. It was hard to hold onto morals and ideals when you went through as much as she did in such a short time span. People still expected perfection out of her.
But they hated her for being that. And when she snapped, they despised her even more. The Saiyan would turn her gaze back to the red star in the distance, letting out a soft sigh. "All things considered... It's actually pretty peaceful here.... I'm not sure if that's because of how that usually is, or if it's because people are afraid of me.", she'd comment once more. It all seemed like one big, twisted joke to her. Atsuko was raised to believe that the Demons were the worst thing she would ever meet in her life...
They turned out to be the best things. She was told that Saiyans valued family, that the Alliance wouldn't allow her to be an outcast... And all of that turned out to be a lie. The Knight would tightly clench the railing with her hands, but she was holding herself back from causing any unneeded destruction. "I'd like to know what everyone wants from me. They keep expecting me to know what it is without ever saying a damn thing.", the Knight stated coldly... Though, she'd realize how that would come off soon after, and lightly shake her head in light of that.
"Sorry... I'm not trying to take it out on you. Before things... Well, got as bad as they did and you had to leave... You said there was a lot for us to discuss. I suppose it's time for me to stop moping so we can actually talk about it all.", the Saiyan finally stated as she'd push herself up to stand straight, and then turn to the Demon Queen. Nakiya may not have been perfectly nice to her, but... She was still far more of an ally than Nasu ever was. It wasn't exactly hard competition to beat.
But anyone better than Nasu was deserving of her attention. "If we need to head somewhere first, I'll follow your lead. I think it will be good to distract myself from my thoughts for a little while.", the Albino Saiyan would admit that she knew where her mindset was taking here. Atsuko wasn't a fool, all of these feelings she was coping with... If she wasn't careful, they could take control of her all over again. But she had to suppress that urge as much as possible. Maybe Nakiya could finally get her the help she needed in that regard.
"yes well, very few people can stand it here at all, if you aren't a demon. Even then, there are those that would much rather leave this realm to live in yours. To me, this place feels like home, the energy is welcoming even if it is rather cold. I promise I won't be keeping you here for much longer. My original intent was solely to keep you here long enough to recover, speak to you and then send you home, but alas things have seemed to of taken a turn for the worst. Though I can see you are pretty homesick. I was hoping the time away from Earth would allow you time to truly be yourself, away from the prying eyes of those that revere you." Nakiya would state calmly as she would walk onto the balcony herself, glancing at the bright red star that was fading in the sky with a smile. It was true that while she spent time on Earth, it had felt completely foreign to her... she didn't realize that she missed something as simple as the star in the sky above Makai... the red hue the entire place seemed to take on when it passed.
"When it comes to people hating you... no matter what you do, no matter what any of us do, there will always be those that do. Just take me as an example. People hear my name, my title, and immediately hate me, hate the very idea of my existence. however, what do they truly know about me as a person? Absolutely nothing. I cannot fault them, for this title has carried that same hatred for centuries... but what I'm trying to say, is that not everyone will think the way that you do. most creatures are rather shallow minded, and are quick to judge. As I myself have been guilty of. It's difficult, to control such thoughts." She would continue to speak, turning her back to the star now as she would face Atsuko once more, looking at her pale face and strangely blue eyes. That was the only thing out of place to the demoness... those eyes. They should be teal, and be backed by much more ferociousness and pride than she was seeing just then. Alas, as close to what Nakiya would consider perfect as she was, she wasn't her creations... and one could only expect there to be flaws in natures design.
When Atsuko mentioned how peaceful things were in Makai, Nakiya would simply nod. It was a hard earned peace, and she knew very well that it only lingered on the surface of her society. Ever since she had taken control of the throne, and the noble families of Makai, she had been able to establish order. While things seemed peaceful on the surface, there were all sort of perverse things happening in the demon worlds underbelly. She knew it, and she didn't mind it. To have order, there needed to be balance. There needed to be peace, and there needed to be conflict. She was careful, mindful of everything that happened in her realm. She kept constant tabs on the nobles and frankly, it was the most exhausting work she'd ever done. These were all thoughts ashe kept to herself however, as they really weren't anything Atsuko needed to know. That was her business, and that of her court.
However, Atsuko brought up an earlier conversation, how Nakiya had been wanting to speak with her and the woman nodded once more. This would make things easier, and faster. The sooner this business was done, the sooner she could be rid of the saiyaness. Send her back home with her prize in hand. There were still things to do before that, however.
"Yes you are absolutely right. Truthfully what I wanted to discuss and show to you were my own plots for the galaxy, and this is something I would need your help with. If you come with me, I'll take you down to the lab so that I can show you, it might make more sense than my simply explaining it." She would say, extending a hand to motion for Atsuko to walk back inside. The Demon Queen would take the lead, though didn't walk too far away from Atsuko.
"To put it simply, what I wanted to discuss was what I wanted from you. As strange as it may sound, I need your transformed blood. You see, long before I became Queen, I was a scientist, and well, I still am. My dream since I was very little, was to bring order and peace to the galaxy, much like I have done here on Makai. To do that, I've begun creating artificial life, 'perfect' beings of every race in the galaxy that will lead their respective peoples into a new age free from war." She would begin to explain, reaching to the pistol strapped to her side and retrieving it. She would toss it out in front of her, and the pistol would begin to glow a bright blue color before taking on the form of Android 1.
"This would be one such example... She and her sister were created as Brenchian girls, later turned into androids as they died." She begun to explain, Android 1 giving a polite bow towards both Nakiya and Atsuko, standing off to the side as they walked, and soon walking along behind them.
"It's a pleasure to officially meet you, Miss Atsuko. I am called Android 1." She would say politely before falling silent as her master continues to speak.
"Along with the Androids, I have also created Saiyans. So far, the female is proving to be quite the peace loving girl, however the male is incomplete, and that is where I need your help. With your DNA in his gene pool, he would be a... well, much less of a brute to put it simply... I"m sure this is quite a bit to digest and understand... Android 1, could you please call for Lucy?" Nakiya would ask of the Android who would nod with quick affirmation, before bringing her hand up to her ear. She would silently send out a message to have the young girl be prepared for their arrival in the lab.
As soon as they did enter said lab, little Lucy was there, ready and waiting for them... though it wouldn't seem that way at first, as the young blonde had taken to hiding behind her brother's incubation tank.

The Demon Queen began explaining that not many people could stand being here at all if they weren't a Demon, and the Saiyan could see the reasoning behind that. It was only by grace of her own power and ridiculous endurance that she was able to cope. It hadn't been the easiest thing, but at least she was fully recovered now. "Unfortunately, even now I need to control myself. There are a lot of things I'd like to do... But I'd be disrupting the peace if I did any of that. I'm sure there are some Demons out there that deserve it."
The Knight would admit. "Too many innocents even then. I imagine it's something like that with the Saiyan Alliance too... Although it's hard to imagine any of them as innocent. Barbarians, the lot of them.", she'd add. Her distaste for her own race was still rather solid... Hell, if anyone asked her, Atsuko would be more content to claim that she was a Human. "In the end, I always have to be the one to control myself.", she'd elaborate. "People hate me for that.", she'd add, this time little emotion left in her tone of voice, as if she was just stating simple fact.
The Albino Saiyan would shrug lightly as she did so. "As much as they all don't want to admit it, they look up to me as this perfect being... And when I don't fulfill those standards, they hate me more. When I snap, they utterly despise me. In the end, they still want what matters most to themselves, and purely themselves.", the Knight would continue. There weren't many people she still held in high regard at this point. In her own mind, everyone was out for their own agendas. Out to satisfy their own greed.
Their perverse lusts. But on some level, she could relate to Nakiya in that absolute hatred; people heard the title 'Guardian of Earth', and it generally brought up mixed reactions. "It seems that you and I are kindred spirits in that regard. All people know about me is my title. What 'that means I should be'. Then they view me for my race, and what 'that means I should be', too. They've never stopped to consider who I actually am, or whether or not any of it actually means anything to me.", the Albino Saiyan stated. Of course she cared for Earth.
Of course she cared the right thing to do was protect it... But the simple fact was that no one took any time to try and learn more about her. All they did was assume, and act on those assumptions. She was tired of it. "I think people can control their thoughts better than they can admit. Most just don't want to. It's easier to say that the person in front of you is wrong. Of course, move a mirror in front of them, they're not so quick to admit that sort of thing.", the Saiyan would reply.
In any case, the subject was finally turning to their previous conversation, the one that had been interrupted by... Yet another Saiyan. Always with the Saiyans. Anyone who wanted to say the Knight wasn't justified in her hatred had quite the argument to make. The Demon Queen would begin explaining what it was she wanted to talk about, and made a gesture for the Albino Saiyan to follow, which Atusko complied with. "My help, hm? You know, I probably shouldn't say anything, but... I was actually told by the Kais to be careful around you and apparently this person that has unlocked an ancient power as well."
The Saiyan would comment. "I'm willing to hear you out even so.", she added. Nakiya went into her past, how she was a scientist, and the thing she needed right now was Atsuko's transformed blood... Why was that? Though before the Knight could ask on that particular subject, the Demon Queen would beat her to the punch and begin to elaborate as to why... It wasn't entirely a bad thing, what she was after. But it wasn't going to be as simple as she wanted it to be. The Knight would let out a small sigh at her words.
"It's not that simple, Nakiya... Science can do a lot of things, but there's some stuff that just doesn't work that way. The Saiyan Alliance would have no interest in following these beings, no matter how perfect they might be. They worship Nasu and his reign.", the Knight would explain in a disgusted tone of voice. Though not for Nakiya's work, but because it was as if speaking about the Saiyans and their Alliance was like swearing profusely. "Perfection in itself is a fallacy as well. It's something unobtainable, that's what makes it perfect."
The Saiyan stated. "If it was obtainable, then anyone could do it. We'd have seen something that truly was perfect by now... Hell, even as great as Natto and Tomoroko were, they were still flawed.", she'd finish. There were a few other problems the Knight had with this type of plan, but... Nakiya was at least being reasonable about the entire thing, making simple requests rather than jumping to demands. Interestingly enough, a pistol would glow and then change into a being before her very eyes, not unlike Excalibur often did... After the Android introduced herself, Nakiya would continue her explanations.
Saiyans. Of course she made Saiyans. But the Knight would hold her tongue, finally arriving in the lab to see one of these creations. Apparently she was called Lucy... The Albino Saiyan would sigh softly as she turned her gaze to Nakiya again. "So the power I sensed earlier, that must have been the Saiyan Male you're talking about... There's a certain familiarity to his presence, if that's the case. I get the feeling I'm not receiving the entire story here.", the Knight would finally speak on the matter. Though her tone of voice was not hostile, it was clear she didn't approve of it.
"I don't have any interest in helping Saiyan Scum thrive. I'd rather see them all burn, save for a select few.", Atsuko would state bluntly.
"You are absolutely correct. They will not follow a new leader, even if these new leaders were to defeat the old in combat. Sadly, the Saiyans are quite set in their ways, to put it kindly. Tell me Atsuko, do you truly hate the saiyans more than anything? You seem quite ready to put an end to them~ I know I am. Truthfully, their society has no place among the galaxy. Long ago, their species was wiped out, save for a handful of saiyans. It's only because of the dragonballs that the saiyans are around again today~ Those same saiyans that survived the purge many years ago, eventually wished back planet Vegeta, along with all of their inhabitants.
Their very existence in our time is perverse. No, with your help, I would see the saiyans start over, as they were meant too all those years ago. A new saiyan race, vastly different than the current one! Together we can ensure that the saiyan culture we know and hate will die, and from their ashes a new saiyan race will be born.
Call me a dreamer if you will, but I can accomplish this, over time, and with your help now. As for why he sensed familiar to you, all of my creations have source DNA. Just like I need your blood to complete him, I've gathered the DNA of others to use in his creation. I don't doubt you've come across some of those saiyans at one time or another." Nakiya would explain a little about the past, hopefully feeding Atsuko's hatred for the saiyans enough to get her to help. Of course there was always plan B to get her blood, but she would much rather keep that as a last resort.
When the subject of Hakobe came up, the Demon Queen wouldn't have missed a beat in her explanation. She was dancing around the fact that it was Nasu's blood that was used in his creation, as that would no doubt only enrage the saiyaness, perhaps even send her off to kill him. She would never agree to help her if she knew the new ruler she wanted to place at the head of the saiyan race, had the DNA of her hated sibling.
"U...uhm... Master..." The voice of a girl sounded ever so lightly, almost as if the girl had been whispering from far away. Lucy peered around her brothers tank, her long blond hair falling over her shoulder, a single strand sticking out of the top of her head the only think visible other than her left, lavender eye.
"You wanted to see me..." She continued to squeak lowly, talking into the glass of the tank, making her words next to impossible to hear.
Nakiya would then kneel down so that she could be eye level with Lucy, motioning for her to come out. Lucy slowly made her way out from behind the tank, her hands moving to the bottom of her frilly black dress shyly before she broke into a run for Nakiya. She would jump in the demoness' arms, hugging her tightly as Nakiya picked her up off of the ground.
"Don't be shy Lucy, this is Atsuko. She's a friend." She would say gently. Lucy would look up at Atsuko with a blush on her cheeks, her face still partially hidden within Nakiya's chest. She opened her mouth to speak, but only a squeak escaped her lips.
The Knight would fall silent and listen intently to Nakiya's words about the Saiyans. So apparently there was a point in the past where they were destroyed, but due to the use of the Dragon Balls, they had been wished back... That figures. The Albino Saiyan had to wonder who was crazy enough to do that sort of thing. Sure, all the lives lost must have been devastating for the Saiyans... But they made such an active habit out of destroying and conquering everything around them, it was only a good thing for the rest of the Galaxy, in hindsight.
The Demon Queen even explained why the power she sensed earlier was a familiar one to her. So she was collecting the DNA of several subjects and applying them all to her new creations... The Saiyan had a choice, she could assist with this and take down her entire race, which had it's own set of upsides and downsides. It wasn't something she could easily pick. "I want the Saiyans gone, but...", the Albino Saiyan would begin a response. "If they would simply leave Earth and myself alone, I'd be willing to ignore their existence.", the Saiyan admitted. She still didn't want to kill anyone.
But she sure as hell was pissed off. "As much as I hate Nasu and his blind little followers, I'm going to have to try once again to be the better person.", the Knight would finally state. "Athren has already been taken care of, Jarvis will hopefully stick to the truce... And Nasu. I want to beat him with my own two hands.", the Albino Saiyan would elaborate to her reasoning for making such a decision. Besides that, she didn't hate Komatsu or Cambia. So neither of them needed to be on the receiving end of that sort of thing.
"I'd enjoy seeing Nasu and his lackeys suffer. But Komatsu doesn't deserve any of that, so I'm sorry, I can't help you with that particular plan... If you'd agree to let the Saiyans that just want peace live, then I'll consider it.", Atsuko finished. She didn't like having to refuse like this, because on some level... She hated the Saiyans enough to want to go through with it, and seeing just how much it would break Nasu would give such an immense pleasure to her. But there were some things you just couldn't do. There were lines you couldn't cross.
"So this Saiyan Male you've created... I can't admit to entirely understand how this works, but how would my blood help? I could understand if you needed my help with the female. I also have to admit I'm a little surprised you didn't have me meet him, either.", the Knight would admit. Even though she refused the initial offer, the Saiyan was still willing to talk with Nakiya, that was something. About at that point, however, there would be a soft, small words coming from behind one of those glass tanks. It was then that Atsuko actually noticed the young girl there.
The Demon Queen managed to convince the child to come out of hiding... This wasn't Nyxosa, that much was certain. Nakiya then took the opportunity to introduce the two, Lucy had tried opening her mouth to speak, but no words actually formed. Atsuko couldn't help but smile a little bit, her demeanor would change just by the simple fact of dealing with a child in the room. "It's nice to meet you, Lucy. You don't need to worry about forcing yourself to talk to me, okay? You can take your time.", the Knight would state softly.
Atsuko couldn't help but think of just how adorable the girl was, but she had to keep at least some of her professional standards. The Saiyan's gaze would turn back to Nakiya. "Earlier, you mentioned creating perfect beings for every race. Does that include the Humans on Earth as well? May I ask what you would intend to do there, if that's the case?", the Albino Saiyan inquired. She was careful not to give any accusations just because of how Nakiya worded her plans with the Saiyans. The red haired woman did not seem to be the unreasonable sort.
As for the reason why Atsuko decided to ask about it, well... Lucy looked decidedly Human, and it was the same for her name. So if this was one of the perfect beings created by Nakiya... Why was it that the Demon Queen asked for her to be brought here to meet with Atsuko? It was all a very confusing thing to consider, because all of this sounded incredibly sketchy. The Kais warned her to be careful of the Demon Queen and the one who unlocked an ancient power, and she could understand why that was the case.
But was Nakiya really as bad as everyone was saying that she was? Atsuko just couldn't see it. The Demon Queen had no reason to save her from Nasu and his thugs. There was no reason to take her into her home, and there was also no reason to escort Jarvis away and bring Bernael to Makai just because Atsuko needed someone she could trust; in short. Nakiya did a lot of things that she didn't need to do, and they were not for her own benefit, at least as far as the Albino Saiyan could tell. So it was a confusing situation.
The only thing that Atsuko did know for certain is that Nakiya was not her enemy for now. That could change, but at the moment... The Saiyan just felt mostly neutral about her. It was better than being outright enemies, if nothing else. And in many ways, the Albino Saiyan could even relate with the Demon Queen. Just how much of a sense of humor did fate have? Her 'friends' were turning out to be the majority of her enemies, and her 'enemies' were turning out to be some of the more reliable sorts. Whether by difference of power...
Or respect, Nakiya didn't seem to be the type to want to cross her. That was something very much welcomed.
Nakiya would sigh as she listened to Atsuko reasoning about the saiyans. It seemed she was rather peculiar about what happened to specific saiyans... and if she was really attempting to recruit Atsuko for the saiyans purge, then she couldn't have accepted her terms... It didn't matter which ones you spared, they would rise together to avenge their fallen.
"Saiyan's are like a pack of wild dogs, you mess with one, you mess with all of them... What you're asking is rather difficult, but without him there's very little I can do on my own." She would say as she would bring one hand up to her chin in thought. How could she convince Atsuko to help her? It was proving to be rather difficult....
"However I see your dilemma, if you do not wish to help me then I will have to find the source DNA elsewhere... hmm that might make him a bit more of a brute though... I was hoping that with your DNA it would... tame him of sorts. He's incomplete and a little wild as he is... If you really wanted to meet him... I suppose I could arrange that. Although as I said he's incomplete, his personality is still very unrefined. As for the female, she's already been completed and is currently assisting the Saiyan Queen of the Cerulean Empire." Nakiya would explain, looking down to Lucy as the girl shifted around, turning her little head to look at the blond woman who had spoken to her.
"Miss Atsuko... Lucy is master's human girl... Daemon is Lucy's brother..." The small girl would say softly, wiggling her way out of Nakiya's grip before running back to the nearby tank that housed her brother. She would place both hands on the glass and look longingly into the eyes of the blue haired teenager inside.
"She's warming up to you rather quickly. It must be the hair, I didn't realize how similar the two of you looked... hah. Well, it's as Lucy said, she is actually an artificially created human. She was only born about a week ago, and is just getting acquainted with the world... as for my plans for the human's of Earth, in truth i'm not 100% sure myself yet. I don't know enough about human's to influence them at all. The information I have is strictly limited to their regular use of black magic and demon summoning. As I said earlier, I'm hoping to end conflict in the known galaxy by having these perfect creations correct what is wrong with their respective civilizations. I realize this is hardly an easy or quick task, but I"m hoping that over time it will be effective. If it's any consolation, i've done the same with Demons as well." Nakiya continued to explain to the saiyaness as she watched the little girl staring at her brother. It was true that Lucy really did look like Atsuko in many respects... save for the eye color and the lack of a tail.
"Lucy is the second ... favor I wanted to ask of you. As you've stated before, the Demon Realms very aura can be a lot to handle, and Lucy is still very young and small, and human... I doubt she will be able to withstand being here for very long. I was hoping that you would be able to take her with you when you return to Earth? She's got a lot to learn and she could use a good teacher." Nakiya would ask of Atsuko, her eyes darting away from Lucy long enough to glance at the saiyaness. Lucy however would look back to Nakiya with a curious expression on her face.
"You're sending me away..?" She would begin to ask, her eyes growing sad as she gave Nakiya the biggest puppy dog eyes she could muster, much like a 5 year old child who wasn't getting what they wanted.
"For your own sake Lucy, I would hope so. You want to learn more about your race right? What it is to be human?" Shew would ask the small girl who would nod slowly before looking over to Atsuko. She would take a step towards Atsuko hesitantly, then another, and another, until the girl had finally inched her way over to Atsuko, reaching up with her tiny hands and taking Atsuko's in her own as she looked up to the Earth's Kami with the same blush on her face.
"Can you teach me miss Atsuko?" She would mumble, her voice once more just barely audible.
It seemed that the Demon Queen didn't believe that any of the Saiyans could be spared. It would need to be a total genocide... For they were like a pack of wild dogs, and to attack one meant to attack all of them... The Albino Saiyan couldn't help but scoff a little at the wording choices there. "If that were the case, I question what the angry mob trying to lynch Nasu was up to.", the Knight would comment. "Even so... I can't assist in killing every last Saiyan, even as much as I think they deserve it.", the Saiyan would admit.
It wasn't easy for her to do that. The red haired woman would then explain that while she could do this without her, it would likely result in the Saiyan Male becoming more of a brute... Atsuko didn't really want to imagine what would happen if something like that got out of hand. "I don't feel entirely comfortable doing this. If he's so much of an issue, then maybe...", the Knight would stop herself, however. "Sorry. But if I participate in this, it would mean betraying my family... Far more than any of them have ever done to me."
As much as she hated Nasu... She couldn't bring herself to do it. It also took away any semblance of a victory, to her. She wanted to beat him herself, not just have it handed to her on a silver platter... That, and it would prove the bastards wrong. She had the opportunity to do something that would devastate the entirety of the Saiyan Race... And here she was, choosing not to do that. And considering what her brother got up to, submitting himself to dark powers... He wouldn't be able to claim that he was truly more honorable or better than her.
That was something she could hold over his head, and over the heads of every one of those blind little shits following him. Finally, the young girl would speak to Atsuko. Her words pretty much confirmed it, too... Lucy was created by Nakiya. The red haired woman would then begin to comment on the fact that the young girl was warming up to her pretty fast. The Knight couldn't help but nod in agreement with that assessment. "Honestly, if you had told me she was just a normal girl, I wouldn't have had any reason to doubt you."
The Albino Saiyan would state. After that, Nakiya would begin to explain what she was intending to do with the Humans of Earth; or rather, she didn't know what she was going to do with them yet. Information on them was scarce for her, and in was a mutual situation, in that regard. "Most Humans are peaceful enough, as long as they don't feel threatened. But there's a lot of variety as well.", the Albino Saiyan would begin to explain in a calm tone of voice. "Some are religious fanatics. Others are coldblooded criminals down to their very core."
Atsuko continued. "Some just want to have a quiet home, a family... There's no one 'style' or 'culture' that truly defines Humans.", the Saiyan would finish. Then pondering over the rest of Nakiya's words... "Though, what you're intending to do really isn't easy... There are so many walks of life, so many ideologies and philosophies, just on Earth alone. I imagine it's much the same for many races out there. Even someone like Lucy could be hurt if we just started off on 'we're going to change everything'... That type of life wouldn't be good for her, either.", the Knight added.
And if this girl was anything like she was... The stress was going to get to her. Each failure just making it that much worse. Atsuko wouldn't wish this type of life on anyone. "I can look after her, and I can teach her what she will need in order to survive. She'll have a good home, and many allies... But I can't make any promises that I will be able to prepare her for what your end goal is. I think she should have a more normal life, though that's just my honest opinion...", the Saiyan would state.
Lucy didn't seem to like the idea of leaving Makai at first, but soon warmed up to the idea after Nakiya explained the reasoning as to why... Besides, it was a good point; the Demon Realm was going to be harsh on someone so young. It really was for the best that she comes to Earth alongside the Guardian... Though, now the Saiyan was left wondering if she could really protect the girl. She'd failed to save so many lives already... The expression on her face would show her true feelings at that very moment, but she would attempt to disguise it a little more.
The Saiyan would smile as she kneels down slightly in order to be at eye level with the girl. She'd then gently pet Lucy on the head, however, to those observant, that glint of sadness was still in the Albino Saiyan's eyes. "Of course I can. And I will! There's a lot for you to learn, but I can already sense a potential in you. It just needs to be realized.", the Knight explained in a soft tone of voice. It really was like Lucy was her own daughter, they looked so much alike...
That only made Atsuko want to protect the girl even more. For Lucy's sake, she really couldn't fail now... But how many times had the Albino Saiyan made that promise only to fail on it later? That type of thing happening to this young girl... It'd be the type of thing that could break the Saiyan... Far more than Nasu or the rest of the Saiyans could. The Knight also knew how dangerous that type of weakness could be, given her enemies... So Atsuko was left pondering whether she was lying to herself, or everyone else. She couldn't think of an answer.
Another light sigh would escape the Demoness' lips as Atsuko once more refused her. Well, it seemed she wasn't about to get Earth's mightiest Hero to join her cause after all... it seemed no matter how much Atsuko hated the saiyans, she hated betraying her virtues even more. a very admirable quality in a Hero, and yet, disappointing in what could have been a great alliance.
Did that mean Nakiya had given up on Atsuko though? No, no it did not. Atsuko might not be her puppet as she had intended her to be, but there was still something she could do. The Corrupt Water. This would work to at least keep the saiyaness off of her back for a while...
"Very well, I can respect that and I won't ask any more of you then, Atsuko." She would say simply, returning her attention to Lucy now as Atsuko explained a little bit more of what Earth's people were like. Nakiya would only nod as she listened, knowing damn well what they were like, and what she was going to do to them, but needing to play the part of the fool for the time being.
"I wasn't aware... I've seen so little of it and didn't have much time to explore it's different cultures... but I trust you will do what's best for Lucy, whether she continues to fit into my plans or no. All of my creations are like my children, and I wouldn't want to see any harm come to Lucy if she proves to not be up to the task." This part was true... all of her creations were her children, she had given them life after-all, and on some unspoken level, she loved and cared for each of them. If she was to ever find out that Lucy was mistreated, Nakiya might send a small army to back her up.
"Does that mean... I can call you momma now? If miss Atsuko is going to take care of Lucy, that makes you momma!" Lucy would explain with a content smile as she looked up their conjoined hands, searching her face for an answer.
With a chuckle though, Nakiya pressed on.
"Lucy, mind your manners. Apologies... now, I believe the last item of business between us is your return to Earth. Saddly, I needed to use the remainder of my power to bring Jarvis back home to planet Blehbarry and return. It will take me roughly a month to regenerate enough health to create another portal. That leaves us with two options. You can stay with me for the duration, here in this palace with Lucy, ooor, you can drink this." finally, Nakiya would reach behind her and withdraw the flask of Corrupted water and offering it to Atsuko.
"This water will give you the power to create a demonic portal between here and the living realm at will." She would say, just leaving it at that and not mentioning the corruption it brought. She didn't doubt Atsuko knew exactly what she was being handed.
Finally, Nakiya seemed to understand that what she was asking was simply too much... While the Albino Saiyan probably should have put a stop to it all right now, the simple truth was, she still considered Nakiya a friend. The Knight wanted to walk the road of trying to push the Demon Queen onto a better path, after all, she seemed reasonable enough... Certainly more than most she's met. "Thank you, Nakiya. I know you were counting on my aid, and if there were any other way to go about it... I think I would. Just be careful.", she would warn.
"Saiyans become offended at the drop of a hat. They won't hesitate to destroy your creations, find out where they came from and aim for you as well... I was able to sense that you had some sort of involvement with Nasu's corruption, as well; be careful of him. I couldn't even scratch him, and if Jarvis is the strongest at your side... That fight will not go well, I can assure you.", the Saiyan finished her grim warnings. The fact that she couldn't even hit Nasu once was something that ate away at her... She had the chance to take him down.
She should have taken it. Still, Nakiya expressed interest in learning about the Humans, as well as Lucy being kept safe. That was something far more reasonable they could work together on. "I'll make sure she's kept safe, don't worry. Even Nasu won't want to cross me if it concerns her safety.", the Saiyan added. For the first time in a very, very long time... Her eyes had a fierce fire between them. Even more than what Jarvis had managed to cook up in their scuffle, which was impressive in it's own right. She really held no love or sympathy for her brother.
However, her emotional high would begin to die down as Lucy would speak again. The girl first asked if all of this meant that she could refer to Atsuko as 'momma'... And that if she was going to take care of Lucy, then it made her 'momma' anyway. The Albino Saiyan couldn't help but smile a little at that. "If that's what you want to call me, I don't have any objections, Lucy.", the Knight would calmly respond. The girl was really just too adorable... They looked similar enough in appearance, at that...
Maybe having a daughter wouldn't be so bad. It would be something a little more positive to focus on... But it also meant she would need to try even harder to keep Earth and the girl safe. Even if it meant the cost of her own life, she was doubly certain of that now. Just imagining anything horrible happening to Lucy... It didn't sit well with her in the slightest. If not for the masterful control over her own energy, it probably would have started flaring up in a defensive nature just at the very thought... But she was able to suppress those urges.
However, the Demon Queen would begin speaking once more, and the Knight would calmly stand up in order to listen to her. Finally, it was a discussion on how to get back to Earth! Still... It wasn't all good news, apparently the Demon Queen had used the last of her power in order to bring Jarvis back to his home planet, and then return to Makai. Something wasn't adding up in that explanation. Still, it left the Knight with two options, by Nakiya's own words; to stay here in the Palace... Or to drink from the flask she had just been given.
A water that would let her create a demonic portal... This was the water she had heard about, and even without opening the damn thing, she could feel the immense vile nature in her hands... Drinking this was risky, she had no ideas on what sort of tolls it could place on her mind and body, how much it could twist her from what she was... But what other option was there? The Saiyan was at least able to take comfort in a few things; first, she was incredibly strong, and used to taking a lot of pain.
Whatever effects this water had, it was going to have to work overtime. There was a slight chance that it wouldn't have as much of an effect on her. Secondly, any mind controlling that Nakiya tried on her part would likely fail; she was worth almost three of her in base form alone as things stood, after all... And lastly, the Sacred Holy Water was her ace up the sleeve. It had purifying properties, and it would no doubt be able to return Atsuko to normal... She could just open a portal to the Timeless Lookout.
Then, she could purify herself right away if it proved to be problematic... The Albino Saiyan would take a breath as if steeling herself for what was to come, and then she would open the flask and begin to drink the corrupted water. As soon as the water hit her mouth, she could feel a strange burning sensation. That sensation only intensified as she truly began drinking it... Those sensations were soon made visible as the more magically inclined effects began to encase her form in a dark armor. Her eyes would turn from their brilliant green to a vibrant yellow.
Her skin turned slightly more pale, and her hair became a lighter shade... But it was what could be sensed on an energy level that truly stood out. Her aura was practically seeped in something decidedly... Evil. If one were to guess based on assumption, they would probably assume that the Albino Saiyan was the Demon Queen. The Black Knight would lower the now empty flask... And the one thing that would likely stand out the most to Nakiya were those eyes. They weren't red, they were yellow. "Well... That was something I wasn't expecting.", she spoke. Her tone of voice different from before.
She certainly looked more intimidating than before...
WC: 1,012 Total WC: 5,078 _________________ Atsuko drank the Corrupted Water and, as one imagines, is now corrupted! Gaining all the expected benefits, aside from the 10k PL boost, well over the threshold for that.
"I am aware of the dangers the little Overseer poses. Not only with his power, but his military power is almost as frightening. I've been taking measures against him however, in fact I am much closer to him than he even realizes himself. As for my influence over him... truthfully, I have, and had none. What you sensed back on Earth was a power passing through me, using me as a conduit. There is something out there far stronger in the ways of magic than even I am. All I can do is hope to control it." She would explain with a light smirk as she hinted towards both Kinoko and Abzerute. While she had grown to like Atsuko, she still didn't trust her to ruin her plans. Could the Demon Queen consider her a friend? Perhaps, eventually, but she truly enjoyed her intellectual company. It wasn't very often she was challenged like this and she had to admit to enjoying it.
Nakiya would look down to Lucy finally as the two of them spoke, taking a step forward and kneeling in front of the little blond girl, raising a hand and placing it on her head lightly.
"Learn everything you can, okay? If it's okay with Atsuko, I'll send your brother to visit you sometimes, ok?" She would say gently, to which Lucy would nod and smile up to Nakiya. Instead of giving her a hug or anything like that though, Lucy would inch closer to her new mama while never relinquishing her hand.
"Okay master! I can't wait to meet him." She would say happily. It wasn't long until the mood in the room became quite serious once more, and Lucy proceeded to hiding herself behind Atsuko's leg as if that would protect her from some invisible force.
Atsuko seemed to have no question in her mind as to which path she wanted to take home. Waiting in the Demon realm for a month didn't seem to be such a viable option to her and so she took the Cursed Water from her. The Demoness could feel the excitement welling up inside of her as she watched the powerful woman take the flask to her lips and drink. The changes were almost immediate! Her aura was becoming tainted, her eyes would change to a yellow color and everything about her would seem to grow far more pale. Hell, even the clothes she wore would change under the magical influence.
While Nakiya expected to have no control over Atsuko, it would allow the woman to act upon her deeper impulses, allow her to seek those things that she truly desired to do and not always be so uptight all of the time. Nakiya would watch in silence until Atsuko would steel herself, and finally speak with a much different tone than the one from before.
"Now that you know what this water does, you can't tell me it's as evil as everyone's making it out to be~ The desires that you are feeling, your current emotions... those are all yours and were always there. The water simply allows you to... let go, and do whatever it is you truly yearn to do. Now, as promised, this will also allow you to open a portal to the living realm. All you have to do is concentrate on where it is you want to go and call upon the dark power that now resides in you." Nakiya would instruct her, watching her every move to see just how much Atsuko, a warrior of light, would have changed under the demonic influence.
Lucy would look up to Atsuko curiously as she began to change, seemingly frightened by the changes, only curious.
"Mama are you okay?" She would ask lightly, tugging on the back of her outfit to get her attention.
So apparently, Nakiya was not the one to spearhead the corruption on Nasu... That made some sense, as great as the Demon Queen's powers were, that felt entirely unreal, the closest thing that the Knight could have compared it to was 'magic'... And there was someone that did awaken ancient magic. Atsuko didn't know their identity, but she knew they were out there... And out of all the people they chose, they singled out Nasu and gave him a mark that made him even more of a bitch to deal with. Oh yes, the Albino Saiyan would have more than words for that person.
In any case, things were going well enough, with Lucy hiding behind the Knight's leg. The Demon Queen would finally comment on the Corrupted Water, and how it's effects couldn't have been as evil as everyone was making it out to be. To that, the Black Knight smirked. "Oh, it's much worse than what everyone has been saying.", the Saiyan would respond. "Tastes foul, burns like hell... And twists everything around. I'm willing to bet if I wasn't as strong as I am, or if you were closer to my strength... It'd do a deal more."
The Albino Saiyan added. "I can't deny it's usefulness, however. A portal back to Earth is exactly what I've been searching for. And hell... I don't feel so stressed out anymore! And I can finally give people the talking to they need...", the Black Knight would continue as she began to adjust the newly formed gauntlets on her hands. She seemed eager for something, whether it was battle... To return home, to test out her new powers. It was hard to tell, only one thing was certain; Atsuko would prove far more unpredictable from this point onward. As if she wasn't enough to handle as it was.
"You know, a number of things kept running through my mind. I kept envisioning how wrong it could go... The things you would say afterwards. But you managed to surprise me at every turn.", the Black Knight would begin speaking once more, her smirk still present. She'd then point at the Demon Queen. "But you defy all expectations. I can respect that... But I also recognize how dangerous it can be.", with that, she'd lower her hand back down to her side. It was difficult to get a read on her, or what she was going to do.
"But hey, you've taken care of me. You've wanted me to be safe and happy... And you're giving me what I want. I'd say that keeping me happy is a very good idea from here on out... But I won't chew your ears out, you already know what I want.", the Black Knight would then pause before her speech would turn into something long winded; Nakiya already heard it all. What she wanted was for Jarvis to stay away, as long as things were like that... Everything was fine! The Demon Queen could accomplish it however she wanted.
The Black Knight's attention was then grabbed by the girl tugging at her outfit lightly, asking if she was alright. The Albino Saiyan's smirk eased into a more genuine smile as her expression grew soft. Atsuko would turn to Lucy and kneel down to her eye level once more. "I'm fine, kiddo... Probably don't look it though, right? I imagine I look pretty frightening right now... I promise you that I'm not going to hurt you, though.", the Saiyan would then make it plain that she was aware of how much her appearance had changed... And only too well how that would be frightening for a young girl.
Still, all Atsuko could do was hope that Lucy wasn't too scared of her. The Black Knight would stand up and then begin to follow Nakiya's instructions. Concentrate on where it is she wants to go... The Timeless Lookout was her home. Her sanctuary. The Albino Saiyan could remember all of it's halls like the back of her own hand, every detail was fresh in her mind... So she knew where she wanted to go, next step. Focus on the dark power residing within herself. This was a little more difficult.
Not because said dark power was hard to find, oh no. With her mastered senses and control over her own energy, she could tell that she was filled to the brim with the stuff. No, the difficult part was finding out how to use it. The Black Knight would extend her right hand outward, first closed in a fist... But then she opened it up to a palm, and as she did so a blood red portal would appear as if guided by her hand. The Black Knight smirked once more in response to that. "I could get used to that."
Atsuko would then turn her head to face Nakiya slightly. "Willing things into existence like I'm a god... You've given me a fun gift to play around with, Demon Queen. Unless there's anything else, I'll be heading back to Earth now.", the Black Knight added, and then she'd turn her gaze to Lucy. "You're not scared, right? I won't hurt you, and that portal is safe, too.", she'd state while then offering her arms to gently lift the girl up and carry her. Of course, she'd wait for Lucy to make the approach first. She wasn't just going to startle the poor thing.
The Albino Saiyan understood very well that she had to be careful, and pace herself now... Not just for Lucy, but for all of her friends back on Earth, too. They could sense the corruption seeping in her energy and make assumptions... And if the Saiyan Alliance were still there... Well, there was nothing to help with that. She just had to take it one step at a time. Nothing more, nothing less. Atsuko at least hoped to get Lucy settled into the Lookout without interruption. But was that really going to be the case?
She was already getting that feeling. Another shit storm courtesy of Saiyans.
WC: 1,013 Total WC: 6,091 _________________ Atsuko used a Demonic Portal! It's destination is to Earth, specifically the Timeless Lookout! Will be leaving next round!
Nakiya raised an eyebrow as Atsuko spoke but would soon break her composure and simply laugh at the Earthling Saiyans statement about the Corrupted Water. She couldn't deny what she said was true, he had drunk the stuff herself upon claiming her throne and knew very much just how it affected someone, and how it tasted. Though to her, it tasted more like ice than fire~
"Well no one's quite described it to me that way! hahaha goodness. My intent with the water has never been control, if that was truly something I wanted I have other ways to achieve that. The water is meant to unleash your hidden potential and let you embrace your deepest desires!" She would say almost excitedly. It was quite amusing to her to see Atsuko in this state, to be much more liberal with her choice of words and actions, even if those actions were a warning against her. She would wave her hand as if dismissing the thread and stepping closer to Atsuko.
"To be honest, besides our little hiccup I truly enjoyed your company. I admit it was nice to have someone like you around. Someone not of my own design or tripping over their words to impress me. As for the portal to Earth and the effects of the water... do with it what you will, embrace it, be rid of it, know that I will not attempt to ever control or influence you. You have given me what I want to some degree, and so it's only right I give you what you wanted, to some degree." She would say, finally stopping as she was directly in front of Atsuko now.
"And just so you know, Bernael will be stuck here with me for at least a month before he can return. He is my nephew, therefore a prince to this realm and has much to learn, but you have my word no harm will come to him and he will return as soon as he is able. In turn, please take good care of Lucy. All of my creations are like my children, and it would pain me to see anything happen to her. As for what you want. I will do my best, it will be difficult until I understand the extent of his new powers, but I will do what I can." Nakiya would assure Atsuko before she would extent a hand to take Atsuko's in hers in a more formal way of saying good-bye.
Lucy hadn't even flinched when Atsuko underwent her changes, though she did think that the saiyaness looked to be in some sort of pain, so she had to make sure her new mama was okay... but it looked like she was more worried about her being scared of Atsuko. Lucy would just shake her head and reach up to Atsuko as she was picked up off of the ground.
"I'm not scared. You kind of feel more like master now." Lucy would state innocently. While she couldn't sense ki at all, being so close to Atsuko made it so that she could still feel the now dark aura radiating off of her body. She would wrap her arms gently around Atsuko's neck and lean her head against the dark armor as she held on tight.
It seemed that the Demon Queen wasn't expecting quite such a change in Atsuko's personality... But even so, Nakiya wasn't exactly complaining about it, either. So this water was just meant to unleash hidden potential and allow her to embrace her most hidden desires... The Albino Saiyan had to admit it, things that she never would have said to others, things that she never would have admitted to herself before... She was a lot more open to them now. In that light, the red haired woman was not wrong in her description of the Corrupted Water, foul as it was.
"Fair point. I do feel like I'll be able to tell people exactly how I feel, instead of just bottling it up all the time... Oooh, and they're not going to want to get pissed off with me while I'm in this state.", the Black Knight would respond with another of her smirks. As much as she still wanted to be purified, back to her normal self... She had to admit, she wouldn't hold back like her old self anymore. Nasu was not prepared if he was going to be such an asshole to her again. None of the Saiyans were!
But her thoughts on that avenue would be interrupted by Nakiya stepping closer. She would proceed to talk about how she genuinely enjoyed the Black Knight's company, if only because she was an intellectual equal that wasn't scared of the Demon Queen and tripped over their own words all the time. The Saiyan would give a nod in response to that. "I do have to admit that I probably would have been more polite normally, but you were nice to me, and you took the time to get to know the 'real me'. That's something not even my family has done yet."
The Albino Saiyan would point out, then looking a little forlorn after the fact. "...How sad is it that what should be my mortal enemy has been a better friend to me than anyone in my family ever has? Life has a pretty twisted sense of humor.", Atsuko would then add. It didn't take her long to get her fire back, however. She'd shrug and grin a little. "Guess that's how it goes. At least now I'm better equipped to handle it.", as much as she wouldn't have liked to admit it normally. There was one simple truth in this.
The Corrupted Water was giving her a lot of what she needed in order to survive. And hell, it's not like the Black Knight had any raeson to suspect that Nakiya was suicidal enough to actually try controlling or manipulating her. Both knew exactly what would happen in that situation, so the Demon Queen would instead play it off in the best possible way. Maintaining a friendship, rather than souring the deal in any fashion. "I don't know what I'll do with the corruption you've given me, to be honest... Doesn't feel all that bad. Might hold onto it for a little bit."
The Black Knight mused aloud. That being said... Lucy was very thankfully not scared of the Saiyan now, and it put a lot of her concerns at ease. Atsuko couldn't help but smile a little bit as the girl would tightly hug the Albino Saiyan. "Yeah... You're definitely my daughter at this rate, kiddo.", she'd state softly, returning the hug and then looking at the portal she had just made... Finally, she was going home. And if only because of the girl in her arms... She wasn't so upset anymore. The Saiyan would look over at Nakiya once more.
"Well. If you end up coming up with a different plan for the Saiyans, or if you need help coming up with one for them... Don't hesitate to have a chat with me. As for Earth, I'll see what I can do there. Frankly, I'll be happy if the bloody place has a bit of peace for once.", the Black Knight would then comment as she'd finally turn her gaze back to the demonic portal... If she concentrated enough, she could see the Timeless Lookout on the other side of it. Atsuko would finally begin walking towards it.
She had no idea how wrong she was about there being peace on Earth. For right now, her little brother had been trying to find a way into Makai, and ended up accessing a new, powerful transformation he couldn't control... The Black Knight was blissfully unaware of it, however. And would be up until she stepped into that portal, the only thing warning her was a gut instinct that something was wrong. Guardians seemed to develop that sort of thing, it just seemed too quiet, too still on the Lookout. There had to be something going on.
Only one way to find out. As she approached the portal, Atsuko would reach out with one hand, using her other arm to keep a secure but gentle grip on Lucy. She'd press her free hand into the portal, as if pushing open a door, or moving a barrier of sorts out of the way as she would slowly step through the blood red passage. It was a strange sensation, to so suddenly traverse from one dimension to the next. But for a moment, perhaps because of her sheer power, she was able to see and sense what it was like between realities.
It wasn't a void, vast stretches of nothingness as far as the eye could see. It was more like... Thousands upon thousands of passages and windows to various points and places. It was something that boggled the Black Knight's mind, but she knew that as long as she pressed forward, she would arrive at her destination... The Timeless Lookout. Finally, she would step through and onto Earth. Home again, and already she was feeling what was happening during her absence... There really was no time for a break, huh? "...Sheesh, not even two steps inside my home and it's already in danger again."
The blood red portal would close behind her and Lucy.

Nakiya would remain silent as she listened to Atsuko speaking, simply smiling, hiding the devilish smirk that so badly wanted to appear on her face. She would simply let out a slight chuckle when she brought up her family once more, as well as their own relationship.
"Yes the universe does have quite the sick sense of humor indeed." Was all she would say to that as Atsuko said her peace, offering to help Nakiya find a new plan for the saiyans to which Nakiya would just shake her head. There was no chance she was going to change her mind on her plan, in fact it wasn't only the saiyans that would be exterminated... Atsuko herself wasn't a being meant for her new world... ah but alas this was far too much information to give the girl, no these were her end game plans, and those stayed locked away tightly within her own mind.
She would say her farewells to the siayaness, as well as to Lucy, watching them step through the portal. Finally, as the portal closed behind them, Nakiya would let out a sigh, bringing her hand up to her face as she would soon begin to laugh!
"Oh my she really prove to be quite fun won't she! hahaha!" She would exclaim before looking back towards the laboratory, her eyes darting from one of her creations to the next, each a new species already present within the galaxy.
