The ship rocked as it finally broke the atmosphere of Earth, slowing its descent to a crawl as it did. Jie Shan jolted up in his seat, stirred by the shaking of the ship. His eyes had been trained on the work in front of him. Councilor work, it was, and boring stuff as well. But it still had to get done. With a sigh, Jie Shan shut down the spreadsheets in front of him, making great pains to ensure that his work was saved, hammering the save icon like mad. He was not fixing to lose all this work, the work that he had spent his entire trip doing.
With the spreadsheet closed, Jie Shan turned his eye to his new business venture: a small series of investments in various businesses around the galaxy. He'd invested some money, citing the age old adage that one needed to spend money to make money. In a way, he had turned his ship into his own little stock brokerage, though only for himself. No one else's money would be passing through here except his own. His eyes ran over the screen, and he gave a small smile as he saw the numbers flash across the screen. Good, he thought, his investments were doing well.
Finally, he closed his financial tabs as well. Quickly, he tapped away at the keyboard, aiming to bring up the communicators that had been running passively in the background since they left Natto. Or, at least they should have been. Jie Shan's heart jumped into his chest as he saw the communicator status indicator: offline. Shit, he thought, whoever had prepped his ship for launch had not turned on his communicator. This, he thought, was bad. Very, very bad. What is something had happened? Was the other ship okay? Only now did he realize that they very well could have been attack or the like, and he's never had heard a peep from them.
Panicking, he brought up the scanner and quickly looked about for them on the screen. The bright green dot of their ship trailed behind them, and Jie Shan let loose a sigh of relief. So, he thought, they were okay. It would not reflect well on him if he had lost two members of the Alliance in the deep of space, so he was glad to see that their ship was not far behind them.
Wiping the sweat from his brow, Jie Shan turned his attention to getting the communicators back online. By no means was the young halfblood an expert on ship tech. No, that was the job of the Alliance's techies. Sadly enough, they had failed him there. But Jie Shan was not helpless. He'd been a grunt once, and he knew the basics. He had too, else they'd be screwed. Getting a communicator up and running would not be much of a problem for him. Or at least he did not think so. Jie Shan fumbled with the computer for a few moments, typing in various prompts that resulted in error messages. But, before long, the communicators finally came online.
With a grin of satisfaction, Jie Shan clicked through the options of the communicator, highlighting the various communications signals that he recognized as belonging to the Saiyan Alliance and on Earth, preparing to send a message to those they had on the big blue marble. Jie Shan cleared his throat and spoke into the microphone, "This is Lieutenant Colonel Jie Shan Lan Dian of the Saiyan Alliance. I have brought the Earthling who goes by the moniker 'the Hero' back to Earth, as the Alliance promised. I also have brought two other soldiers of the Alliance with me. I am landing in the south of Earth if anyone wants to rendezvous with me and get me up to speed on the situation here on Earth. Over and out."
As Jie Shan finished his communications, the ship finally touched down on the ground of Earth. "Alright, Hero," he called out, "You're back home!" He did not wait for the Hero to respond, for he might be sleeping or otherwise occupied. He half expected the man to be sleeping: space travel was tiring, if one was not used to it. Plus, he thought, there was the matter of "pod-lag", in which one's destination planet had a different local time than the planet from which one departed.
Jie Shan strapped on his blade, and made for the door of the ship. Finally, he stepped out into the Earth sun. The heavy natural light of the Earth stung his eyes for a moment, and he lifted his hands to cover them. Squinting, he looked into the distance. It was dusk, or at least near it, on the Planet Earth. Well, he thought, at least he'd be able to get dinner soon. For now, though, he'd wait to see if anyone from the Alliance arrived.

"This tub is a flying wreck." Melonia cursed out loud as her space ship rocketed past the Earth's own moon. It was a lovely moon, huge and perfectly spherical. More of a small planet really, at least it could have been at one point. "I bet that thing emits Blutz waves better than any Power Ball when it's full..." She mused as the small two person craft zipped past the massive stony orb on its way for Earth's surface. Jie Shan's vessel hadn't been responding to their hailing frequency, which Melonia thought odd, but so be it. If he didn't want to chat she was more than a capable pilot. Melonia flipped on the ship's intercom, her voice projecting through the small craft and its two individual bed chambers. "Kinoko, we'll be entering Earth atmosphere shortly, you'd best buckle up. Or at least, don't mess with anything fragile while we're on final approach." Melonia had no doubt the other female Saiyaness would be fine, though she still stuck rigidly to military doctrine. Looking out at the great blue marble before them she steeled her gaze and prepared for final approach vectors.
Gloved fingers reached out to flip the first few switches. "Killing primary drive engines, secondary thrusters only.... And... engage." Her hand reached out to flip and instrument panel over to a set of global positioning coordinates and an altimeter to adjust their course manually for descent. "All readings optimal, fuel capacity forty five percent, hull integrity one hundred percent, dampening coils..." the space craft gave a series of rumbling jerks as it was caught in the Earth's gravitational pull. "...In dire need of service..." Another particularly powerful jolt rocked the craft. "Or perhaps full replacement. what storage locker did Jie Shan have this piece of junk rusting in?" It wasn't so much that the craft was bad, per say. It was more the simple fact it handled like riding a Great Ape and was just as temperamental to boot. It didn't help one bit that Jie Shan's other craft seemingly had its communications disabled, unless that was some other mechanical problem Melonia couldn't find a read out for.
"Whatever, I'll worry about that later." Melonia said in a disgruntled tone, grabbing the controls and beginning to ease the space craft in to its descent. The coordinates she'd been given didn't designate a major city, or a military installation, or even a star port. Did earthlings even have those Melonia wondered, shaking her head at the distracting notion. The positioning system identified an unassuming chain of islands in the planet's southern vicinity as their target destination. "An odd choice," Melonia though taking the controls and veering the space craft hard to port, "But Jie Shan knows what he's doing, so there has to be a good reason." As the vessel connected with the planet's atmosphere it ignited into a burning ball of super heated flame on reentry. "Thermal plating holding well, internal insulators operating at peak capacity, engaging retro rockets."
Melonia flipped the switch on the retros, and the aft facing boosters spun around to face prow, firing off in quad linked gouts of fire as they began to slow the Saiyan vessel to a reasonable approach speed. Melonia hated this part the most, clenching her teeth as the vessel rattling like a dying animal. It bucked hard against her controls, but she continued guiding it in to their target destination. All those hours in the flight simulators hadn't gone to waste after all. As the vessel slowed the flames around it diminished down to nothing, Melonia flipped another switch and set the retros to landing position. Facing vertical they burned at minimal pressure, enough to ease the space craft in for a vertical landing. Melonia toggled on her ship's communications again for a last minute hailing of the other space craft. "This is Captain Melonia hailing Lieutenant Colonel Jie Shan Lan Dian of the Saiyan Alliance on all frequencies, we are on final approach to Earth, flying directly on your six o' clock. Counselor Lan Dian, do you respond, over?" Nothing, only silence, Melonia sighed and gritted her teeth in mild frustration. "Whatever, we'll figure it out after we land." She told herself, switched the space craft to vertical landing configuration.
At the press of a button the space ship ceased all forward movement, hovering a ways above one of the seemingly endless islands stretched out before Melonia on the view screen. The ship lowered surprisingly gently, given how bumpy the rest of the landing had been. It touched down gracefully, coming to rest not far from the other craft. Melonia let out a long sigh, leaning back in her command seat. "There, that was a ride. Any landing you can walk away from right?" She spoke to herself, pulling herself upright and rolling her shoulders before leaning over the intercom one last time. "Kinoko, we arrived, we should go tell the boys hello and figure out what we're gonna do." At that Melonia hit the button to open the space craft's landing hatch and deploy the landing ramp. She stepped lively out the vessel and basked for a moment in the warm sunshine. It felt good just being on solid ground again with a real sky overhead. The Saiyan warrior did not particularly like space travel, it was a lengthy and often arduous affair.
Moving towards Jie Shan's craft, Melonia immediately spotted the senior officer, his blade sheathed across his back. "Counselor." She spoke curtly, without much of her usual light heartedness. "We made it, obviously. That space ship though... Let me just say I'd like to put it through a proper mechanical inspection before our return trip home." Melonia folded her arms across her ample chest, leaning against the hull of the Lan Dian space craft. "Also, do you mind explaining why I was unable to hail your ship during transit? I was this close to tearing apart an access panel and seeing if it was a problem with our ship, but I decided it'd be easier to just do maintenance after we arrived." WC: 1019
Though it was very unusual for the young saiyaness to slack off so much, the pod ride to Earth proved to be extremely exhausting. After long discussions with Melonia about everything ranging from skin care products to hair styles, the girl would find herself in her bed chamber, fast asleep with her clothes thrown about the room in a mess. No one liked sleeping with armor on... right?
It wasn't until Melonia's voice came over the intercom, sounding rather serious that Kinoko would stir awake. She would draw the covers over her head while yawning widely. She silently wished this trip had been longer, desperately yearning for more sleep. She had barely gotten any between her arena battles and bar hopping~
As the ship began to shake however, Kinoko would finally push herself out of bed, gathering her fallen clothes and sticking it into her bag, reaching in and taking out a secondary outfit she had brought... this one covered much more of her body, as requested by the Overseer. It consisted of a tight blue underarmor that she had cut the sleeves off of, a blue dress that she kept around her waist in a similar fashion to her red one, and a matching blue and green chest piece. She would then clip on her metallic arm guards and belt before exiting her room and moving to fins Melonia in the cockpit.
she would remain quiet as the woman went through all the proper landing protocols, easily bringing down Komatsu's ship as if she had flown it a million times, though not without complaint.
"I'm so glad you know how to drive this thing~ Last pod I was in... I crashed it~ This is much better!" She would say contently, smirking at the woman confidently, and waiting for her to lead the way out, as she was her superior officer after-all.
As they stepped off the ship, Kinoko would wistle as she looked out at the beautiful landscape of the blue pearl, her eyes widening slightly as she took everything in.
"It's similar enough to Natto but... wow it's beautiful here!" She would say as she lifted herself up into the air, soaring up into the skies above the group so that she could have a better look at the island they were on, and the surrounding area with a bright smile on her face.

It was not long before Jie Shan was accosted by one of his soldiers, the Private Melonia. Good, he thought, she had survived the trip after all. He had been half expecting the Saiyaness Kinoko to kill her in transit. Jie Shan did not think that the two of them would do well with one another, like the same way that two ends of a magnet that carry the same charge will repel one another. But, he supposed that when one multiplied a negative number by another negative number, one got a positive number. Or something like that. Jie Shan had never truly been good with numbers.
Or, he supposed, the woman had killed Kinoko instead. He did not think it was possible, given the sheer difference in power between the two, but he was quick to remind himself that the world was full of surprises. A Saiyaness more so. Yes, he would do well to remember that, lest he find himself waking up with a knife sticking out of him.
Melonia came to him, complaining about the trip. Apparently, the ship had not been in the best of conditions. Jie Shan simply shrugged. That was not on him. No, it was on Komatsu, or better yet, the engineers of Natto. And besides, thought the halfblood, it did not even look that bad to him. It was flyable, and that was good enough for Jie Shan. In his youth, he'd flown in some pretty rough ships, mostly courtesy of his mother. Her ship had been a beater, kept running by scraps, clever engineering, and pure luck. It was a wonder the junker had not imploded on itself and crushed them both within the vacuum of space. No, he thought, that would not have been a pleasant end to his childhood.
She also asked him why they could not even hail him during the trip. Jie Shan coughed and gave the woman a small grin. "It seems," he began, "The engineers on Natto forgot to boot up the communication's system. Or there had been some sort of malfunction after launch. As it turns out, I had to manually reboot the things. But they're in a working state now."
Of course, thought Jie Shan, it was a little late for that. They'd already landed. If someone had sent a distress signal, it would have gone long unnoticed. Luckily, he thought, that had not happened.
It was not long before the Saiyaness Kinoko revealed herself as well. "Ah," he exclaimed, "Glad you could join us, Kinoko!"
He offered the Saiyaness a small wave and smile. In the back of his mind, however, he was silently giving thanks to whatever gods there were that they had, in fact, not killed one another. No, he thought, that would reflect poorly on him. And, he added mentally, he would have had to pay for the cleaning of Komatsu's ship. And that was something that he was hoping to avoid. Why spend money when one didn't have to?

Melonia smirked as she watched Kinoko soar off into the air to inspect their destination. It wasn't much to look at, after all it was an island. But the cool blue waters were rather appealing, Melonia had no doubt the earthlings enjoyed a good swim. Kinoko though, she was something else. The lovely Saiyaness had been the closest thing Melonia had found to a kindred spirit in a long time. It was a rare day indeed she could have a serious conversation on feminine beauty products, take turns trying out each other's shampoos, or spend an afternoon trying out new hair styles. They had both agreed their current look suited them best. And with as much as the other woman slept, and as attractive as she was, Melonia had had half a mind to simply go snuggle with her in her bed. But, such course of action was highly against regulation, so any further flirtations would simply have to wait.
She grimaced heavily when Jie Shan explained what had transpired. A critical oversight by the engineers before they had left. At least functioning components still worked, even if disabled. Broken ones however, would have needed replacement. All the same the Saiyan warrior desired a chance to actually inspect the vessels at some point in the immediate future, since clearly the engineers back home had not. "It is a poor commander who delegates failures down to his subordinates." Melonia said, still cross with the events of journey. "Perhaps in the future said engineers will require more attentive supervision before our departure. Though for now I'd request time, access, and if need be, funds, to see to it these two space craft get a full post flight evaluation. I'd rather not worry about the heat shielding failing on reentry next time, or the hull depressurizing in the void of space..."
The one ray of sunshine on an otherwise bleak trip had in fact been Kinoko, and Melonia dearly hoped they would be seeing more of each other soon. After Jie Shan finished addressing her Melonia moved to speak. Her words flipped from militaristic tone to playful and friendly, and she gave the other Saiyan a teasing look. "Kinoko honey, you've been the best. If you ever want a spend a little time with little old me, maybe some light sparring or some post workout cuddling, you know who to call. Imagine the two of us at the clubs, the boys' heads would damn near explode." Her statement was ended when the warrior blew her companion a kiss, followed closely by a flirtatious wink. WC: 436 TWC: 1,455
Kinoko looked as if she as a child in a candy shop, her eyes almost sparkling with excitement as she looked at the clear waters surrounding the island. She could just barely make out other islands in the distance, but instead turned her attention to the island they were on. For something so small, it was buzzing with all kinds of life, from the tiniest of bugs to the large whales swimming deep in the nearby ocean. She couldn't help but to think... What would this place look like painted red?
She had to work hard to hide the cruel smirk that threatened to cross her face, instead keeping up her excited appearance before soaring back down to the group gathered on the ground. Jie Shan stated he was happy that she could join them. She silently wondered what he meant by that, considering she didn't really have much of a choice in that matter... Did he really think something bad would have happened to her, or to Melonia? Was the ship really in that bad of a condition? Apparently she had horrible luck with ships then!
"Thank you for asking me to come with you Jie~ This place looks wonderful and just feels crazy! So... what's the plan now though, if I might ask?" the saiyaness would wonder before looking back over towards Melonia when she was addressed. She just couldn't help but chuckle and then float over to Melonia, wrapping her arms around the girls neck as if taking her into a loving embrace.
"I would love to spend a LOT more time with you hun! I don't care if it's training or cuddling, hehehe maybe both, at the same time, sounsd like a fun time." She would say with a cutely devious grin on her face. Her tail would be moving about behind her excitedly as she glanced back towards Jie Shan, bringing herself even closer to Melonia so that the two were glued together.
"What do you think Jie~ wouldn't we make the perfect partners?~" She would purposely tease him, wanting to get a rise out of the saiyan hybrid.

Jie Shan tutted with annoyance. He cared not to be lectured. He'd gotten enough of that from his father, the Overseer, and everybody else these days it seemed. He would not want to hear it from Private Melonia. She claimed that she wanted to inspect the ships? Well, thought Jie Shan, that was all well and good. But that could be attended to at a later date. For now, his mind was more focused on the matter of the moment. "I'll consider that, Private," said the halfblood Councilor, "Consider that request added to the stack of paper work I have, somewhere between requisitions for medical officers and maintenance of the barrack bathroom facilities. Meaning: I'll get to it."
And Jie Shan honestly would try to get to it. But, whether one believe it or not, the Councilor was actually still quite busy. It seemed there was an endless streams of files to look at, papers to sign, permissions to grant. No, signing over ship maintenance to a lowly private was near the bottom of that list, no matter what her potential might be. But, as he said, he'd consider it, if no other suitable candidates could be found. After all, the Saiyan Alliance was vast, their numbers large. Surely he could find someone decent to stick the duty to. And, if not, at least he had a willing volunteer now.
Kinoko landed near them and asked what the plan was. Jie Shan pursed his lips for a moment and considered that. "Well," he began, "Assuming I fixed that communicator right, and I'm certain I did, the plan is to regroup with other members of the Saiyan Alliance. And it seems that Earth is a popular destination for our people these days. You could be forgiven for mistaking it for Natto, really, with the amount of personnel the computers claimed are on the planet. Maybe we ought to consider establishing a permanent base on this rock, at this rate."
Jie Shan smirked. "Kidding, of course," continued the hybrid, "But I do find it curious how our people are flocking here as of late. I mean, all things considered, we're relative latecomers to the party. A pity we didn't arrive sooner. I suspect we missed most of the festivities."
The two seemed thick as thieves, thought Jie Shan. That was not at all what he had been expecting. A pleasant surprise, mentally remarked the hybrid. But he supposed any surprise that did not end with him getting stabbed, beaten, bruised or mentally scarred was a good one. Jie Shan chuckled to himself. It seemed his standards for a good time were getting lower by the day. By whatever gods there were, he thought, he did not get paid enough for this.
The offworld Saiyaness even exclaimed that they would make good partners. Jie Shan gave the woman a crooked smile and a funny look, but ultimately nodded. "Yes," he began, "You two certainly... compliment each other. Perhaps I just ought to just up and assign the two of you to the same squad."
Gods, he thought as he suddenly felt very tired, he pitied the officer who would head that squad. Because he certainly would not want to head it, despite his own efforts to form a squad, the likes of which the world had never seen before. No, he thought, that would simply be too much for him. He could handle either Saiyaness on their own, but together? The Super Saiyan would not want to try his luck with the both of them.
"Though," he continued, "I suppose there's quite the disparity between the two of you in strength. I suppose we should work on ironing that out in the long run, before you two go running off on any suicide missions someday."
He chuckled once again. But he meant it. The two of them could use some training, some refinement. Melonia in particular could do with a dose of training. Perhaps the Soy Martial arts... The Overseer had, after all, given him permission to train a select few in the arts of the fallen Overseer. He just wondered if Melonia had the stomach for it. The training, he remembered, could be harsh and humbling. Especially the way that the Overseer had handled it.
"But of course," continued the Councilor, "We're on Earth now. So, I suppose the two of you could afford to relax... At least for a little bit. I've never set foot on the planet myself, until now, but my mother told me about it when I was young. It's a vast planet, with many experiences to offer. The cities alone would put the Soy Capitol to shame."

Melonia wrapped a slender arm around the sinfully clad Saiyaness in her seductive blue dress. Her hand moved to slip past the woman's tail and slowly grope her round behind as they stood. Pulling the shorter Saiyan close against her so that her enormous bosom was pressed near to Kinoko's face, her chest resting against the swell of Melonia's chest. "Training and cuddling at the same time sounds lovely my sexy Saiyan darling." Melonia teased, leaning close to kiss the flirtatious woman's cheek. "I'm happy to have a kindred spirit, especially one with such a gorgeous figure and such scrupulous hair. We have to try styling it when we get a chance. Maybe after a dip in a pool, they do have those here on earth?" Melonia said, not bothering to contain her sensuous nature. Kinoko was a peach to sweet to ignore, the two Saiyanesses were near destined to become best of friends.
Her gaze turned more serious as she looked back to her commander, Jie Shan Lan Dian, though Kinoko and her were still glued at the waist in their tight embrace. Melonia stifled a scoff at her superior officer's remarks, merely letting out a sigh. "Acknowledged Counselor, I suppose that was as much as I could ask for. I'd put in my two cents on those barracks bathrooms, though I'm sure you've seen them too..." Jie Shan's attitude hadn't changed a bit, and he was having none of his Saiyan companion's light heartedness. It was understandable, he had an enormous amount on his plate. But all the same Melonia wished once in a while he'd lighten up a bit. At least a dutiful commander was a respectable commander, and he had certainly earned that from her in their brief time together. Melonia hoped at some point she'd be powerful enough to be tasked with more duties, she was keenly aware she was presently a small fish in a very large pond.
A planet wide grin crossed Melonia's place as Jie Shan outlined his plans. "You know, if you do establish a permanent base, I know one Saiyan willing to remain behind to oversee operations. And she might have a curvy companion wrapped in her arms that would keep things interesting." His admittance at kidding had her grin quickly diminish to a soft scowl, though Melonia did not speak up on it. "Late as we may be, if there's good reason for such activity on earth, it's best we look into it. It's also, in my humble opinion, a far cry from Natto. The geography is all wrong, and there's far too much water. Natto has more valleys and mountain ranges than oceans." Melonia stated, looking around at the seemingly endless sea surrounding the island. "As for missing the festivities, I'm sure there's always more going on. A planet this populated, there must be no end to its problems. Especially if the earthlings are as weak technologically and in power level as the reports I've read seem to confer." Melonia spoke solemnly, giving her astute analysis of the situation. As she did her hand was quick to give Kinoko's soft rump a good squeeze before sliding back up to massage the small of her back.
"I like to think we compliment each other better than most. I'd be overjoyed to be in a squad with this lovely beauty." Melonia said, her grin returning. She pulled Kinoko especially tight against her and slipped her tail to wrap lovingly around the other Saiyan's. "I think we could make quite the tag team someday, especially after I've had a bit more training." A wry grin flashed across her face. "The Kinoko Melonia Power Hour, we'd have to come up with some signature combination attacks wouldn't we sexy?" She said turning to give the other woman a quick kiss on the cheek. Her gaze turned back to Jie Shan and Melonia gave a quick nod. "I'm aware of the difference in our relative strength, I'm but a simple recruit fresh out of the academy. Though I did test very highly on my exit exams, I am also cruelly aware how badly I stack up compared to even a moderately senior warrior. I plan to rectify that as soon as I can. So no suicide missions for me, at least for a while."
Melonia's face lit up like a blast of Ki at Jie Shan's next words. She longed to visit new and distant lands, see exotic things, and meet with its peoples. "Counselor, I humbly thank you for the command to relax. Sight seeing earth would be a great honor, and I will be sure to make our race proud. I promise not to cause any trouble, and will be nothing but gracious and exemplar as a guest on this world. And if not..." Melonia's grinning face turned to the woman tangled up in her arms. "I know someone to knock me back in line." WC: 829 TWC: 2,284
she couldn't help but chuckle as she was suddenly pulled into an embrace and quickly groped by the other Saiyaness. Kinoko couldn't help her instinct to playfully swat at the arm that had groped her, having had to fend off quite a few men at the bar's back on Natto from getting any such similar ideas. She was so used to playing off men, that playing off a woman was... well something new for the young girl!
"Come now, Melonia! Perhaps we should keep this until we can be alone?" She would muse, her face turning red as Melonia leaned forward and kissed her on the cheek. Okay she was a flirt but oh my goodness was this girl ever up in her face! She wasn't complaining but, well she just didn't know what to think. She would glance back over to Jie Shan finally, almost as if asking him for help.
Kinoko would open her mouth to speak when Jie Shan mentioned establishing a base here on Earth, but quickly shut it as Melonia spoke first, and Jie clarified that he was only joking. Kinoko didn't know what the relation was between Earth and Natto now, having heard through the grapevine that a war party was sent here... she was surprised to see that there was anything as beautiful as this still standing, if a whole party of saiyans had been sent here to destroy it. Ah well, she was sure she'd find out what the heck was going on when they re-established communication with their forces that were already here on Earth.
Then, Jie Shan would seemingly completely miss Kinoko's meaning, or just ignore it completely as he suggested putting them in a squad together. She would glance back to Melonia, still pressed up to her and chuckle, a smirk crossing her features.
"While I have no issue what so ever being in a squad with Melonia, I think you misinterpreted my meaning Councillor." She would say with another light chuckle before she would finally wrap her arms around Melonia's neck lovingly, just as the other woman wrapped their tails together. To anyone looking it, it would seem as if the two were lovers, holding each other much too closely.
"I think training with you is going to be a lot of fun~ I don't think anyone will expect any kind of significant power coming from the two of us! oh and just imagine what kind's of attacks we can use by combining our ki. hehehe oh boy I'm sure I could show you a thing or two." She would say with a wink, blushing when Melonia leaned forward to kiss her cheek again. Kinoko would gently pull her arms away from Melonia, still chuckling slightly. Then, Jie mentioned that they would be given some time to relax, all things considered, and Kinoko's smile only broadened at that.
"I don't think I've been able to take it easy since I arrived on Natto to be honest! A swimi does sound wonderful, but who needs a pool when we're surrounded by such a beautiful ocean? Perhaps we could all take a break before searching for the others. I bet you haven't stopped working this entire time, have you Councillor?" She would ask, maintaining her smile. She would finally glance back to Melonia and wink as she stated she knew Kinoko would knock her back in line. That was definitely something she would do... Hehehe

Jie Shan sighed as he watched the two Saiyaness's continue their little games. How amusing, he thought, that they were getting along so well. He supposed he should be glad. It was much better than what he had expected out of it. Though, just looking at them now made him roll his eyes. They acted as if they were soulmates or the like, and had been forever. It was enough to tire him out just by listening to it. Gods, he thought, he would have to send them away somewhere where he wouldn't have to deal with them in the meantime. Ordering them to take a vacation was likely the best case scenario.
But Kinoko posed an interesting point of conversation: had Jie Shan been working the whole trip? Jie Shan groaned. He did not even want to think about it, but...
"Yes," he said, "I have been working the whole trip. They may not have properly activated my communicators, but they certainly got all of my work synced up with the ship's computers. It was almost like I'd brought my entire office with me. Mind you, the ship is a measure more comfortable than my office at this point. But yes, I did work most of the trip. I think most of my time was spent staring at a computer screen, filling out forms."
Jie Shan sighed. "But, it's fine now. Now, I'll be able to do my work on the beaches of Earth instead of the dreary office space of the Soy Capitol. At least for a time."

Melonia grinned back sinfully as her curvy companion's face flushed a vibrant shade of red. It gave her no small joy to set the other Saiyan woman off like this. "Maybe we should, but you're just too much fun to play with Kinoko. I just couldn't help myself... all you have to do to get me to stop is ask." There was a pause before her next words. "Something tells me you won't." A light giggle followed that, and Melonia eased up her teasing slightly, though still pressing her curvaceous form close against the beautiful woman wrapped in her arms. Kinoko embraced Melonia like a lover as she spoke to Jie Shan, though in truth the two women had only known each other close to a week. "I look forward to letting you show me a thing or two." Melonia said as the two made conversation with Jie Shan. "And a break does sound nice, I think the Counselor works too hard. No sense of fun with him."
The Saiyan beauty could scarcely contain herself at the arrival on earth. She wanted to do everything they'd discussed, especially with her new companion. Relax on the beach while Jie Shan was couped up in the stuffy confines of his ship. Train with Kinoko on the warm sands of the islands, seeing all the curvy Saiyaness had to show her. And of course, go for a swim in the cool blue waters that seemed to cover much of the strange new planet. "Jie Shan..." Melonia said as her day dreams lifted. "Try not to always sound so glum. It's a bold new world out there, the least you could do is enjoy yourself a little. I'm sure you'll absolutely adore working from the beaches. Just like I'm sure I'll adore training with Kinoko here."
It was after all, a rather marvelous little island they'd landed on. The place seemed to be void of any native animals, though a small grove of palm trees rung the edge of the beach. A number of other similarly sized isles could be seen in the immediate vicinity, and larger ones loomed on the distance. Melonia wondered if they held earthling settlements, maybe small fishing villages or ports. There was surely a large number of fish in the ocean, though Melonia admittedly didn't know the first thing about earth. Although now she had plenty of time to learn. WC: 406 TWC: 2,690
Kinoko couldn't help the chuckle that escaped her lips as Jie Shan admitted to being glued to his work the entire trip. It figured that even when they were trying to get away from Natto, that kind of stuff still followed them around everywhere they went.
"Well, since we just landed, why don't we take advantage of the island before we report back to the others? they'll probably just throw a bunch more work at all of us!" She would say with a mock pout on her lips, glancing back to Melonia as she explained that Kinoko could ask her to stop at any time. She would just continue to chuckle, though at this point would pull her arms away from her, only to bring her index finger to lightly boop Melonia in the nose.
"I'll keep that in mind~ Maybe I should come up with a safe word~" She would say cutely with a wink before she would begin to hover once more, flying up so that she was in the air above Melonia and Jie.
"If there are no objections, I suggest some beach time! Last one there has to clean the barrack bathrooms for a week!" She would tease before flaring up her crimson aura and heading directly for the beach.

Jie Shan was not glum. Or at least he did not like to think of himself as glum, anything but glum in fact. No, he was a happy person, a cheerful one who liked to play and make the most of things. Or at least he had been. Maybe he really had changed over the past few months. The rigors of councilor life proved to be hard ones, or at least boring ones. Perhaps it was enough to change someone for the worse, turn that from bright to dull. Perhaps this trip to Earth would be exactly what he needed.
"The beach does sound like a good idea," admitted Jie Shan, "We might as well make use of it. And I don't suppose it would hurt to set aside my work for now. It's not like it is going anywhere."
Jie Shan watched as the Saiyaness burst into the air, her crimson aura trailing off into the sky. Quickly, he flared his own silvery-grey aura and followed after, looking back down at the ship. It should be fine, he thought, it was not as if anyone could mess with it. The computer itself was locked, passworded, and the files encrypted. And they were not going far. If there was trouble, Jie Shan could be back in an instant. But for now, he was simply ready to have a little fun for once.

"How about Oozaru?" Melonia teased in reply to Kinoko's comment on safe words. "I can't imagine you'd say that outside of a full moon?" The attractive Saiyaness' bubbly personality and giddy laughter were rather infectious, and Melonia couldn't help but giggle sweetly as well. "I say we take as much time as possible before reporting in. A few hours in the sun will do us good, we've only been trapped in those ships for weeks now." Melonia said as she stretched her back in a great arching stretch, her tail going rigid as it joined. "And they will give up more work, that's the point of us being here at all."
Melonia faked a pout as she was booped on the nose. She pretended to give Kinoko the stink eye as the woman sped off into the air immediately above them. She immediately darting off on her vibrant aura of burning crimson Ki energy, headed in the direction of the nearest sandy beach. Melonia opened her mouth to object, but the woman was already too far to hear her. "I spend too many night's cleaning those barracks myself in the academy..." She mused aloud, looking to Jie Shan. He too soon darted off into the air, on his own silver hued aura of Ki.
At that point Melonia could only shake her head, resigning herself to last place in this "race." Even if she'd left first the other two were an order of magnitude stronger, they'd beat here there in a heartbeat. At least she was good at cleaning out barracks, so if nothing else it'd be a relatively quick ordeal. At that Melonia shot upwards on her violet aura of radiant Ki, darting off after her companions into the air. She followed in hot pursuit, watching Kinoko take the lead as she flew to the nearest major beach on the island. Melonia landed a minute later, impacting the sand lightly as she touched down. Looking around at the tropical sea and the rows of lush palm trees that lined the place where the sand met grass. It was rather idyllic, she wished they had some chairs to relax on. Maybe the beach would suffice for sunbathing purposes. Or maybe they'd simply go for a swim. WC: 381 TWC: 3,710
