For once it was a calm quiet day out, Teresa had gone for a stroll after their plan was put into place, deciding to scope things out, she of course invited the wild Axelle. That girl was a mess, and yet...Teresa kinda liked it, she wasn't sure exactly why, but it was fun. The Zoan was not an outgoing person, she was smart enough to plan these things out, but not enough to be "The voice" of leadership, that's why part of her hoped she could be the planner, and Axelle could be the one to speak when they became world leaders.
Still, it was a nice day out, and she really was starting to laze around instead of looking things over like she should have been. The birds were singing and the sun shined pretty brightly, it was a little hot, but nothing she wasn't already used to by now. Still, she had more than a few questions for Axelle...She had grown strong so fast, it was like her power sky rocketed pretty far up. Teresa's had to, but not up to that level. It made her more than a little curious, she kind of wanted to know just what one had to do for something like that to happen.
Still, Axelle had yet to catch up, so Teresa threw herself down onto the grass with a light thud, just looking up at the sky and lounging about, waiting for Axelle to show, she had plenty of time, right? Not like some crazed robo-demon was bent on controlling the world with an iron fist. ... Teresa giggled a bit at the thought of that, it looked rather silly in her mind, there was no way something like that could possibly happen.
She gave off a contented sigh, shutting her eyes for a minute. "Haaahh~...I'll just rest...For a minute, it's perfectly fine~" She gave a lazy nod. ... And passed out into a nap. This tired bunny was sprawled out across the grass, just sleeping away when there was work to be doing. One couldn't deny the warm sun felt good though, and shining down on those fluffy bunny ears made her feel fuzzy and comfy. She just HAD to enjoy this! You don't know how few luxuries she gets!
Her nap seemed to pass on for a while, she had honestly intended to relax, but there was no way to resist falling asleep, especially not after all that had transpired lately, it all made her pretty exhausted. Even despite that though, it didn't look like she had a care in the world, she rolled over onto her side, curling up into an almost ball shape as she held onto her legs in her sleep, she wore a content smile as she snored a little bit, there was no telling what she was dreaming about, but it must have been good whatever it was! She wasn't gonna wake up too easily, that was for sure.

PL: 30,000 40% Shop Active
"Weeelp.. I'm late." Axelle sighed deeply as she stopped in the middle of the side walk to look around. She wasn't exactly sure what time it was, so she couldn't accurately judge whether or not she was truly late. But she felt as if she had been lost for so long trying to find the dang place she was supposed to meet Teresa at. The vampire looked up and down the street, stopping once she caught a glimpse of a store across the street and just a little ways down the road from her. It was nothing more than a simple convenient store, really. Just the sort of shop Axelle would be looking for. They weren't massive and full of people like some of the malls' around there- she didn't have any particular hate for large crowds. So perhaps she was just claustrophobic.
She reached down into her pocket, digging around inside it for a moment before checking the other. "Dang.. No money." She grumbled before letting out an irritated sigh. She honestly thought about just stealing what it was she wanted. If anyone knew Axelle at all, they would know exactly what it was she would be going in there to steal. 'Eh.. if I do that, I risk pissing Teresa off..' The vampire furrowed her brow with a huff. She grew irritated herself once she thought more about it. What was it that allowed even the very thought of a dissapointed Teresa to hold Axelle back from being her usual, trouble-making self?
Of course she couldn't just stand there all day and think about it when she was probably already super late. With that in mind, she started to walk once more. Off in the general direction she assumed the meeting place to be at. Maybe if she really wanted a drink she could quickly.. 'feed'. But that was a different hunger entirely. There was a hunger for food, and a thirst for liquid, and then there was a hunger for blood. The hunger for blood had a different feeling to it. Something far different from a dry throat or a grumbling stomach that felt as if it were eating itself. The hunger for blood gave Axelle hot flashes when it was at it's peak, otherwise at more moderate levels she was more anxious around anything she could sink her teeth into.
She worried for her friends when ever they were around her. What if she got too hungry out of nowhere? Would she give into primal instincts and sink her teeth into Zeni's or Teresa's neck? Thoughts like this scared her to death- yeah she was loud and maybe even obnoxious, maybe a tad bit too violent while we're at it. But she still cared.. in a weird sort of way. Having been so lost in thought, Axelle hadn't even realized she was stepping into the park. It was the transition from stepping on pavement and into grass that startled her back into reality.
The rest of her walk was short and uneventful. Now her mind was more set on finding where ever it was Teresa was. At one point she even thought the girl had just gone home without her- and boy did that make her feel like shit. Didn't last long though, as she quickly found the bunny girl curled up on the grass. Looking down at the sleeping girl, Axelle blinked twice before narrowing her eyes. If this had been anyone else she was supposed to meet, she probably would have kicked 'em awake with her foot. But this was Teresa. On top of that there was.. 'something' to this sight that she enjoyed. She couldn't put her finger on it, and even if she did she probably wouldn't want to admit it- not even to herself.
She wanted to sigh with irritation, but when she did sigh the irritation of it sounded totally fake. She really couldn't be mad. It was her fault after all. As she was most likely super late. Hell, it was a lot better than her leaving and assuming that Axelle wasn't coming. The vampire sat down in the grass beside the sleeping bunny girl and waited. If Teresa could wait for her to get there, than Axelle sure as hell could wait for her to wake up. Although.. She kept sort of side-eyeing the rabbit ears on Teresa's head.
There Teresa was, still sleeping away with little care in the world around her, still...It seemed she wasn't TOO tired, she soon began to shift about as she woke up not long after Axelle had taken a seat next to her. She looked up at the vampire, rubbing her eyes a bit as she shifted around to sit up tiredly. She gave a small wave, yawning a bit. "Hiiiii..." She soon smiled as she saw her friend there right next to her, it filled her with a sort of happiness, especially after how long she got to sleep for. Wasn't exactly forever, but it was a rather nice amount of time all the same.
"You got here fast, should we do something today?" She asked with the same warm smile on her face, curious on just what the two could do together, they had a lot to look at, and though it was for a far more serious agenda, she felt they could still treat looking around the city in a laid back manor. After all, it had been years since they got to go outside that facility, it was probably best to see how everything was again, to ease back into normal life as best they could.
She stood up, dusting the grass off of her legs and putting her hands to her hips. "Well then Miss Yssault, shall we?" She grinned, her eyes shutting with glee as she did so, she began to stroll off from the park as soon as she knew Axelle was following. She looked all around, actually kind of excited by it all, she travelled around with her parents a lot when she was a kid, but never to West City, it was actually a really nice place, she wanted to see everything!
"Sooo....Have you ever been here before? It's kind of quaint, I think I could get used to it." She looked about, making sure Axelle walked next to her, rather than trailed behind, she wanted to walk WITH Axelle, not away from her. Though she was soon stopped in her tracks as she saw something... A nice little stall set up that was serving drinks of all kinds, really refreshing looking drinks. It even had tables with umbrellas above. She had definitely noticed how the heat had gone from pleasantly warm to...Kinda unbearably hot rather fast. She did happen to have a little pocket change...But it wasn't enough for sure. "No money is a bit of a problem..."
She brought her hand to her chin, thinking it all over carefully. She'd need to think of a way to get them both a drink without really stealing it. That just wasn't an option for her. She wracked her brain hard...And it then came to her! She noticed a man working there messing helplessly with what looked like a cooling machine, she knew JUST how to take advantage of this! She walked over calmly, giving him a gentle tap on the shoulder.
"What is it? Who's that?" He'd soon turn around and stand up, noticing the spry young zoan behind him. "Can I help you?" "Maybe, but I could help you too if you'd be willing to help us. I had a job as an engineer, picked up a lot of repair tricks, I think I can fix your machine problem." He quickly perked up at this. "If you fixed this, you'd save most of my supplies, I would give you money for the work." She shook her head. "No money, just something to drink for both me and my friend here."
The man gives a nod after thinking it over for a bit. "Fix this thing and you can have all the drinks you want, no charge." Teresa gave a nod, ducking down in front of the machine, she looked up at him. "I'll need tools, got any?" He gives a nod. "A few, nothing amazing, but we have them." he proceeded to hand her a wrench, a pair of pliers, and a roll of ducttape. She looked them over. "...A bit barebones. But I can make it work." She began eyeing the machine, shutting it off, an act met with protest, but she raised a hand to stop him.
She practically shoved her face deep into the inner-workings as she got to work, checking each component for any blemishes or breaks, there was...A lot to see in here, a lot was wrong and it was a wonder the thing ran at all. "There's your problem, several parts are bad, and the worst part is the coolant tube has a cut in it, kami knows how it got that on it. I'll need a few lugnuts, if you want to save your stock, just strip them off of something else." She gave the wrench back to him, and he proceeded to run to his tables, removing a few bits from them, meanwhile she was hard at work fixing the coolant tube, she tightly wrapped the ducttape around it, making sure the seal was just right. it has to be as tight as possible without constricting it or else the leakage will loosen the adhesive. She called out from within her workspace, and soon enough the man returned, carrying a handful of lugnuts and the wrench, he frantically gave them to her, and she calmly took them all, now putting the new lugnuts on the machine where they go, and soon pulling the wrench in, a few clicking sounds heard as she was hard at work tightening them, she gave a sigh, pulling herself out. It was warm and messy in there, her face covered in oil and sweat, she ran her arm across her forehead, smiling as she flipped the switch.
Much to the man's surprise, the machine roared to life, sounding much better than it did before, she slammed the hatch shut, and motioned for him to check the fridge, sure enough, it was starting to cool off, slowly but surely. She hurried over and shook her hand. "Anything you two want, it's on the house! You are a miracle worker." Teresa just smiled awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck at all the praise, though she did just earn the two a nice round of free drinks. "It was nothing really! I've uh...Had some experience with this kind of thing."

Axelle continued to take occasional little side glances over at Teresa while she slept. She really wondered what it felt like to sleep so peacefully. The last time Axelle had been able to sleep so soundly was before all this facility nonsense. Before she was a vampire. Could it be that it was the experiments done to her that prevented her from sleeping? Or was it just stress keeping her chugging along? Perhaps it was a fear, or a mix of both fear and stress. She didn't really know- but she was satisfied and a bit more at ease either way knowing that at least her friend could sleep so happily.
At one point or another, her occasional little side glances turned into stares. Stares that were mainly focused on Teresa's soft looking ears. From the day they had met Axelle wanted to get a feel for 'em. Even if it was brief. But she didn't wish to make Teresa uncomfortable, or risk causing another sort of 'feel'. There were some zoan's out there that had parts sensitive in a way that wasn't pain- Axelle only knew this as the facility she and Teresa had been held in had lots and lots of zoanthrope experiments.
Axelle cautiously reached towards Teresa's ears, testing for sensitivity by giving quick little pets. Teresa probably wouldn't react since she was asleep, but that was exactly what Axelle wanted to check for. Once she knew she wouldn't be springing to her feet and swatting at Axelle for touching her ears, the vampire relaxed a bit and became a bit more bold in her petting. She was still gentle, of course. Axelle did not want to accidentally hurt her by brushing too hard. Hell, with how gentle she was trying to be she may as well have been trying to tip-toe across thin ice.
Once the bunny girl stirred suggesting she was about to wake up Axelle panicked and pulled her hand away, looking up slightly while her hands were stuffed in her lap. When Teresa waved at her she let out a sigh of relief- maybe Teresa hadn't known what Axelle was doing? "Hello~," Axelle smiled before standing up. "I hope you slept relatively well? You certainly seemed like you were enjoying it."
Axelle followed Teresa as she started her way out of the park and back into the city. She took the hints that Teresa wanted her to walk beside her and she did so- albeit at a comfortable distance. "I was never here before, no. I was something of a.. sheltered child up in the northern parts of the word. Lived in a massive mansion- it was really beautiful in the summer when the cold was tolerable." Axelle responded. She sorta wished she could go back there. Bring Teresa with her and show her what she meant. "During the winter it was still beautiful, but in a different sort of way. And you had to be covered in coats to really enjoy it." As much as she wanted to go back, so knew that in doing so she risked running into her parents. Kami knows what those two have done to themselves by now. They could be some freakishly mutated vampire monsters or something, or insane.. maybe even both, but hopefully they would be dead. Axelle wasn't about to go up there to find out though.
Axelle stopped as soon as Teresa did, arching a brow at the bunny girl who was rubbing her chin obviously thinking about something. The vampire grew even more curious as Teresa approached some random worker dude, though she still followed behind. She fully understood after listening in on Teresa's conversation with 'random worker dude'. The vampire didn't have much experience with machines so she simply stood to the side where she was out of the way and just watched Teresa while she worked. Maybe even handed her a tool whenever she were to ask for it. But aside from that, she stayed in a place where she wasn't going to be a bother.
She narrowed her eyes as Teresa finished, pulling her head out of the machine with her face now messy. "Oi.." She muttered as she untied her little cloak thing. It was a damn hot day anyway, so the least she could do was give the hot piece of clothing a use. The vampire walked up to the bunny girl and, depending upon their height difference would reach up and wiped her face off. Using the cloak as a sort of rag to wipe off her face. When she was finished, she put the cloak over her shoulder and stepped back. Though oil would be a bitch to wash out, blood was not the only form of liquid she could manipulate. Water and things like oil wouldn't be too hard, but it could never be to the same degree in which she manipulated blood. Still, it really helped with stains. "I have no idea what all that machine talk was but.. I'm not about to say no to free juice, especially on a hot day."
