Release, today was the day of release. For a while she was raised in this tube. Her mother, her maker teaching her what did and did not matter. Boy was their a lot of them to. It was far simpler to just say that what mattered was what Mother said mattered, all the other stuff deserved barely a passing thought. She needed to think about enemies, but only as far as it took to kill them. She did not need to think over silly things like 'why' or 'how' no it mother wished someone day they were dead. If mother wanted someone contained they were contained, if she wanted them free they went free, not that the last option happened all that often, least that's what she was told to expect.
She could think on herself and it was something she often did inside her small space. When it came to size she was far smaller than her master's other two experiments. If she had to make a rough comparison she would have to say she was comparable to a child among most of the species she had learned of, while the first and second were closer to the form her creator took on. Why was that exactly? The form wasn't the best of advantages... but it did hold some latent benefit she supposed!
She was used to waiting. Mother couldn't be with her wall the time of course, she had her own purpose to fulfill to, just like Daeva and the others. Most of the time, or at least by her concept of it she was alone in the tube. She did hear a lot of sounds in the lab though. She saw the sound of demons going by above. Things like her master going about her business or the noise of the things around her at work. Just from this room she heard a great many sounds, So she could only imagine the ones that lay beyond the dark exit once she was released to serve mother fully.
That time was today... soon. She'd stay content with the sounds around her until then
"Waste of time... Hmph... I'll show them a waste of time..." The 23 year old Nakiya walked into her lab, the automatic doors sealing behind her with a clank. The young demon princess had a clear look of annoyance on her face, even a pout gracing her lips as she grabbed her datapad from her counter and threw herself into her swirly chair, gliding her way down the little hallway and stopping only once she had rolled in front of Daeva's tank.
"You aren't a waste of time... They just don't understand what I'm planning... Father's too much of a brute to understand... even Trase is more focused on ascending the throne than fixing the universe..." She would talk to the still sleeping Daeva. She wasn't truly sure if her creations could hear her yet, but she did enjoy talking to them... These were her first successful specimens, the only one's to remain stable after infancy and strangely enough, it was thanks to her own blood being used in the DNA process. So in a sense, these would be like her children...
That was definitely strange for her to think of... Sure she had wanted children eventually, perhaps when she was well over a hundred or so... but they would be of her own flesh and blood...
"hm... well I guess in the end you kind of are..." She would murmur as she looked down to the datapad and brought up the schematics of Daeva. She would go over all of files, making sure that everything up until this point had gone smoothly... It was time for her to wake up, but Nakiya was uncertain... Would she turn out like she had hoped? Would she truly be a perfect Demon?
Her finger hovered over the activation button, shaking slightly in nervousness. With a deep breath, the princess would push the button, then raise her head to watch as the fluid began to drain from the tank. Only whenever it was completely empty, would the glass door of the tank open, allowing the Demon inside it's freedom.
It was pleasant hearing the voice in front of her. It was the only voice that got this close since her creation, as such she could only assume it to be the mother she was shown. Her creator, master and overall the only image that currently meant anything in her memories, because it was that image she tied to the voice in front of her.... behind her? Didn't matter she supposed. To her it was a voice that brought her comfort, because while it was a voice that couldn't be around all the time it was the voice she was most familiar with, the only one that spoke to her.
She was ok with that though. Well, it wasn't like she had much reason not to after all this was where she was for her short life. Heck the only reason she knew she was supposed to be released today was because Nakiya spoke to her. She wasn't entirely sure what the release entailed. She knew mentally, she knew she'd be able to see, open her eyes. She'd be able to view the things around her. What she didn't was the actual FEELING of it all. She did no her mother often seemed both nervous and excited for the day in question. It was like it could fail or be a big success. If it failed... what would that mean happens to her? She couldn't let it fail! Cause... she didn't want mama sad or disappointed.
With a simple click she felt the fluid around her begin to get lower and lower. Evenually she felt her body thud against the ground, her hands feeling the cold bottom of the tank-as well as the remnants of the fluid around her. As the door to her tube opened Daeva slowly began to move her eyes, it was harder than one might think being her first time and all. It was a slow process, one that took some getting used to. It also didn't help at all that her vision was all blurry and fuzzy at first. Before long though this feeling would pass-with the first clear thing in her sight being the woman that made her. Ok this was it, she could do it! She didn't wanna be a failure and she wasn't going to let the nervous side of her mom take root! She could do it... one step at a time. Just do what mama does! Speak like Nakiya did do to her. What part was that? Ok just remember... move, just a few words she used would be fine.
"Aren't... waste.... mother... I can be... perf....ect"
That wasn't bad for her first sentience right? Soon she'd do so much more to! For her maker, her mother. She was the reason she lived after all. It was all for her goals.
"Fix... Uni..verse, right?"
Better than the first but she needed go be more steady! She'd do it, eventually. She was a perfect incarnation after all. Her blood flowed within her... and that was enough for her to do anything with time. At least she assumed she could, she was stable now after all!
Nakiya wheeled her chair closer to the tank and Daeva nearly crumpled against the bottom of it when the liquid disappeared. For a moment, Nakiya was worried that she wouldn't even wake up... Though as she opened her eyes, the young demoness would smile brightly. This was it! She was awake, and alive! She did it again! This was her second subject, and a girl instead of a boy... and she was already talking! Okay it was broken up but no doubt it was a difficult learning curve.
She would stand up, rolling her chair away from her as she temporarily put the datapad down. She would reach into the tank, offering her hands to Daeva so that she could help her stand, and even get out of the tank she'd been confined too for so long.
"Good morning. Wow, you are perfect~ and yes, we're definitely going to fix the universe together! But first, we have to make sure you're healthy okay? Can you tell me what your name is?" Nakiya would ask of the new born demon. Of course she knew what it was, but she wanted to know the extent of knowledge Daeva had taken from her programming.
As the girl would answer her however, she would help guide her over to a bed only steps across from the chamber itself. There was all kinds of equipment around it, making it look like some sort of hospital bed. All of this equipment would help Nakiya check on Daeva's health. She didn't need her to lie down, but no doubt the girl would need to sit while she became accustomed to all of her muscles and energy,
For a a moment Daeva simply stared at the princess' hands, searching for the proper response in her mind. Memories programmed by her creator, to help her in her dreams. The response to a friendly ally reaching out her hands... she was suppose to responded in turn! In this instance Daeva was on the ground... so mama was trying to get her to her feet! It was with a clear note of eagerness that she grabbed onto Nakiya's hands for support, lifting herself up and out of little tube that once contained her.
Then mother began to speak to her. She did it! She was perfect! Well, in her creation anyway, she'd only get better with time! Nakiya also needed to.... check her health... Oh right that was important! She needed to be able to walk and think and all that stuff properly! So... her name. Nakiya gave her a name, she knew that much. Just had to do what she did with her eyes and mouth! Just search her memory and... yup! Their it was! A perfect name for her.
"I... I am Daeva Moth...er"
After answering her question she was guided over to a bed with all sorts of tools and gadgets. She assumed it was to further check up on her health. Along the way she got a good view of the lab for the first time. It wasn't a whole lot to the common eye, but to Daeva who had never seen anything outside of what was in her mind it was simple amazing to view. She was getting a bit tired however. She wasn't exactly used to walking around, or actually using her energy yet. So when she saw the bed itself pointed at it for a brief moment and, with confirmation from her mother She would sit on it for a bit of rest. For a brief moment she looked at the tools around her before staring back at Nakiya with a smile. Ready for her checkup.
"Healthy...?"
Of course she was, she was mother's perfect specimen! They were gonna all the stuff she dreamed, cause that was her dream right? It would be great!
"That's right. Daeva." Nakiya would clarify, raising an eyebrow though as she was called mother. It was a role she was ready to assume... an unspoken role, but hearing it out loud seemed strange to the princess... Laz hadn't bothered to call her that much. She would shrug it off though, not about to correct the girl on it as she helped ease her into bed. She would move the equipment closer and take up what looked like small round stickers with wires attached to them. She would look back towards Daeva, and press the stickers directly onto her temples.
"That's right. I have to make sure that everything went ok with your development. Make sure you can move all your limbs, make sure your brain is working properly, things like that. Don't worry though Daeva, you're doing great so far." She would say as she turned on the small device now attached to her head which would display several different colored waves which would flow across the screen. She would then bring out a small light, showing it to Daeva before speaking.
"It's going to be bright ok? I need to look in your eyes." She would say before turning the light on, and checking Daeva's eyes. She then proceeded to do several other checks, from checking that all of her limbs were moving correctly, to even a small blood sample. When she was done, Nakiya would unhook everything, grab her chair and sit down across from Daeva once more.
"Alright. All done. How do you feel though? Are you hungry? " She would ask the girl. If she was, then it was all the more reason to get her walking and used to her body. She would even be able to pick out clothes for the young girl.
Daeva tilted her head in reaction to Nakiya's raised eyebrow. She said she was right and that made Daeva happy but that facial expression threw her off. Mother WAS the correct term wasn't it? She wracked her brain briefly. With most most species that reproduced with each other their was most commonly a male and a female component. One was the mother and the other was the female. Of course Daeva only had memory of one of these components in her mother so... maybe her terminology was off? She just wasn't sure.
"Wrong.... term?"
She would say simply as Nakiya began her examination, putting various sticky things, with wires on their ends to her face. Nakiya certainly did seem to be as attentive as a parent should be to her knowledge. Checking her health, making sure all her parts and stuff worked proper. Course that was also because they had a job to do, but still! 'Mother' was the only term she could think of so that was ok though? Besides according to her she was doing great! She was sure to be one hundred percent healthy, one hundred percent perfect! While listening to her instructions Daeva stared at the various colors on the moniter next to her that represented her health. She couldnt tell what they all meant off the top of her head, but she did know that none of them being a blank line was defiantly a good sign! This made her quite excitable, a bright grin adorning her face. Far as she was concerned that was another step out of the way! She gave a simple nod with the addition of the light to her check up, doing her best to follow along as she was expected to with each check up Nakiya performed on her. She certainly FELT healthy so she could only assume her check up would reflect that. Once she was finished with her checkup and detached the tools from Daeva's form She would sent in front of her. Asking her opinion on her well being. Well of course she was ok! A little unused to her body in this environment sure, but her body itself was gra... wait, hungry?
For a moment she had to recall the meaning in her mind, not having thought of it sense her release from the tube and for that matter not really having to worry about it while she was inside it. Rubbing her belly she considered it for a moment. It did feel like she would be hungry.... did that mean she needed to get something? Oooh maybe mother had something! She had asked after all!
"I think I am a little.... do I need to eat something? Can I?"
She didn't want to do wrong by her maker after all. Nakiya might need her to be hungry for some reason after all. She would follow every direction given by her mother, it was her purpose after all!
"No no... it's the right term... I"m just... not used to it." Nakiya would explain to the girl as she did what she needed to do. Nakiya had to admit, she was pretty impressed with herself. At first glance it seemed like everything was working perfectly with Daeva... she was talking rather well, she was moving properly, she had memories even if they were artificial. She truly was perfect! At least to the demoness' standards anyways.
She would keep a close eye on all of Daeva's reactions and actions until she had finally asked how the girl felt, and if she was hungry. At first, Daeva seemed confused, bringing her hand to her stomach almost asking herself if she was hungry or not. However, when she spoke, Nakiya couldn't help but chuckle slightly as she pushed herself off of her chair once more.
"Of course you need to eat something. When you feel hungry, you eat. That's how you keep up your energy. Come on, we'll take a walk to the kitchen and have the chef make you something okay? This way you can get a little bit more exercise and get used to your body." She would say, once more offering Daeva her arm. She could only assume the girl would still be wobbly on her feet, so she planned to be there to support her if she needed her too.
"Tell me Daeva, can you feel your ki when you move? I made sure that was part of your learning program so you should at least know what it is." She would say as she tried to start up a conversation with the girl to try and get as much information as she could on her.
Daeva gave a little cheer, so she had chosen the right term! She was worried their for a second. She had gotten so used to using the term mother after all, even while she was in her big old container. She'd have to help mama get used to the term though since she was so unused to it still! Hmmm she might have to help her learn daughter to if that was the case, maybe all the maternal terms while she was at it! According to her memories their quite a bit after all! That could wait though, for now she had to cooperate with her check up!
The various things Nakiya did to examine her health in no way hurt in fact if anything some of them tickled! Despite that however She cooperated with her examination to the best of her ability, shaking her head a bit once the stickers were removed. She was very eager to be able to try actual food for the first time! What did it taste like? Her memories showed many different types Of and methods to eat said food, but not the actual tastes to go with them. Her mind wandered to what exactly would be made for her first meal. Would she like it? She supposed she couldn't hate it, all she had to compare it to were the support systems nutrition stuff after all! Besides her mother made perfect beings so whatever food she made was bound to not be far off itself!
"Ok.... I''ll eat then, replenish energy lost along the way!"
She nodded her head matter of factly, accepting the princess' hand into her own. She wasn't exactly used to walking yet, and the energy it took to do these starting movements was taking more than it would later. She couldn't help that though, just a result of never walking before!
As they walked she was asked another question by her mother. Could she feel her ki? She hadn't really thought about it! She tried to focus her mind, feeling inside herself for the energy she knew was there. And she could! She could feel it! Just.... was it not stable or something? She could feel the energy their but when she tried to pull enough out to impress her mom.... she just couldn't.
"Yes mama I can but... not much energy wants to come out, sorry..."
A frown crossed the young demon's face as the words left her mouth, sure the fact was going to disappoint Nikaya. She couldn't lie though, that would effect her future experiments! No she just had to be honest like she was supposed to be and hope they could fix it later! As they got closer to their destination Daeva got a great chance to test her smelling. They were so many different things going on ahead of them! Which smell would be the one she ate?
"So mama, what should I eat? Nutrition matters right?"
Her memories said they were at least! Proper nutrition to help keep the body running smooth, unless they were just gonna gorge themselves or something! Ether way she'd follow what Nakiya told her.
Nakiya escorted Daeva out of the laboratory, guiding her through the hall that would lead them to the stairwell. As soon as they got there though, Nakiya realized just how long of a walk it would be to the kitchen... perhaps a little too long for Daeva right now. She could use her portal, perhaps even use the opportunity to teach it to her... but then the young demoness answered her question about her Ki and Nakiya sighed.
"That's alright, it's to be expected. You did only just wake up after-all. As long as you can feel it, then we know it's there, and that means you can tap into it with a bit of training." She would explain to Daeva, stopping after only the third step to look back at the shorter girl. Heck she was so damned cute Nakiya just wanted to carry her the whole way... although she could only imagine her fathers reaction if he saw her doing that! She would shake her head slightly before extending her left hand next to her. A small swirl of black energy began to appear in her hand.
" Alright, well this is going to be something for you to remember, alright? The Kitchen is pretty far, so i'm going to use my magic to get us there. Demons have the ability to create portals from our world, to the living world. You need to call on your demonic energy and think hard on where you're going. Then, when you push your demonic energy out, like this, it'll start to form a gateway to wherever you were thinking of." The dark energy in her hand would suddenly expand until it was larger than her, forming what looked like an actual doorway. You could just faintly see what looked like a kitchen behind all of that black energy.
"then you just hop on in, and poof." She would guide Daeva into the portal, re-appearing on the other side within a matter of seconds.
"You're there" She would finish with a light smirk on her face. She would have waited however long it took Daeva to feel comfortable stepping through the portal before taking her there.
Once in the kitchen though, the chef would immediately stop what he was doing, turning to face the red headed princess and bow.
"Princess, It's an honor to be in your presence. How might I serve you my lady?" The man asked, never once looking up from the floor as he spoke. That is, until Nakiya bid him to his feet.
"You may rise. We need something to eat, I understand that dinner is well on it's way, however we would like something ahead of time. " Nakiya found it difficult to speak just then... she had wanted to indicate that Daeva was hungry, but she couldn't just call her, her daughter in front of the cook... rumors would start long before she could present Daeva to her father... That wouldn't be very good... they would all assume things immediately... and judging by how old Daeva looked, those assumptions would turn into wild rumors.
Daeva was glad, this was the second time she was wrong about disappointing mother! She'd need to improve her guessing sure but she was still glad she was developing properly! It was reassuring to know the minor faults she was experiencing were simply a matter of her short time awake rather than anything to do with her programming. It meant she was still at the level of perfection needed for mother's goals! It was plenty to satisfy the child demon's small ego.
Daeva watched in silent awe as she was shown a technique by her mother. As per her instructions she would mentally log each step as it was shown to her, visualise focus your energy, even the fact it was only something her kind could do! She then watched the result form-a portal with very good smells coming from within.
"Wow that's really handy mama! So many uses..."
She would trail off for second, comparing her implanted memories and crossing each with the use of a portal. So many things could be made simpler through its uses! So many tasks finished quicker. Her awe continued as Nakiya helped her through the portal. Their was no transition. In just a few seconds they were in the kitchen. She was told the effects sure but actually seeing them amazed her none the less. When they got to the other side Daeva responded to te princess' grin with one of her own, it really was an amazing skill to have! She'd need to try it later after she went to a few places. Once they were before the person called a chief Daeva would watch as he almost immediately went to the ground, bowing before Nakiya. Briefly searching her mind Daeva found this to be the correct response. Mother was royalty and as such deserved a higher degree of respect than most, hence bowing and the like. Did Daeva need to do that? She'd ask later. However as mother asked about the food she was to eat Daeva couldn't help but notice a slight hesitation on her part. Was she nervous to mention her in full? Well she was created after all, perhaps she was simply hesitant to admit she made her own daughter slash weapon and stuff. Well she could help with that! She could so cover for her mother!
"Hello sir, i'm Daeva, Mrs Nakiya just found me outside earlier... she said I could have a bite to eat? Havnt had anything in a whiiiilllle"
Well anything really, but the innocent smile upon her face didn't betray the lie she told. She sure hoped mama liked her trick!
"Once you get a feel for your Ki, it should be easy enough for you to use. You have memories of many different places and planets, so it'll definitely come in handy." She would have said to the young girl before facing the chef. She wasn't nervous about the chef asking her for an explanation or anything of the sort, and would have been happy to simply leave the subject at that... but then Daeva piped up, lying about how they met in an attempt to cover the princess' tracks. Well! It seemed Daeva was definitely quick on her feet and learning fast.
"Yes of course Princess, I'll have something prepared immediately." The chef would say as he rose to his feet when given permission too. His eyes would only then dart to the princess' companion, a young strange looking girl that the princess had apparently picked up off of the streets. A disgusted look crossed the chefs face before he would give a polite bow to Nakiya and walk away to prepare their meal.
"You're a quick thinker, I'm impressed. I'm sorry I didn't introduce you properly. Truthfully I'd rather if we kept our real relationship a secret for the time being... At least until I can get a few things sorted out. When we're alone though, feel free to call mme whatever you want, ok?" She would turn to face Daeva, lowering her voice just enough so that the two could speak more privately. Sure the cook had walked off, but that didn't mean there weren't other staff listening around.
It would only take roughly 20 minutes for the chef to return with two medium sized boxes that were very neatly wrapped and stacked one on top of the other.
"Shall I have a servant carry these for you, your highness? I don't imagine you two would want to eat inside the kitchen itself." the chef would offer, to which Nakiya would simply nod her approval at the suggestion before looking at Daeva once more.
"We can eat in my quarters, you'll need new clothes anyways" She would say before opening up another portal, this time waiting for Daeva to take the lead so that she could follow her through.
She understood clearly what her mother was saying. Training and experience were key to her learning the proper use of her ki. That made sense! As she got better she'd be more useful, and could do more and more for her mother! They'd achieve her goal, they would fix the universe with time. Her memory was a really neat thing. It was made up of all the things mother knew she would need. Knowledge of different planets and items. Different methods for all sorts of things! Other beings memories were made of the experiences they went through since birth but Daeva didn't have to go though any of that! No the vast majority of things she would need to build upon were already right here in her head, courtesy of Nakiya.
Daeva simply shrugged off the look the servant gave her as he went to prepare their meal. She didn't really care what he thought, cause aside from providing others with nutrition he didn't really matter. His fate was to toil away here keeping the more important pieces, like her and her mother alive to fix What mattered. Well that and the other demons to, long as they had an actual use. Daeva knew her use and it was waaaay better than cooking up food for others.
She would nod in understanding as Nakiya gave her explanation. She understood well what she was saying, for the most part anyway. Mother was a princess, having a child-especially one with her physical appearance was sure to raise quite a few eyebrows around the castle. It was better that Daeva been seen as akin to a stray found in the streets, it was far easier to explain away. She reduced her own to tone like her mother's, responding in turn.
"Of.... course, I understand. Secrets are needed sometimes, makes it easier to get stuff done.... I can hide myself easy~"
She responded in turn. It was a simple truth. Though she would love nothing more than to parade about as Nakiya's daughter she knew that just would not do. All she'd do is hurt her mother and she was NOT going to do that. She was glad though that at least in private she'd still be able to call her by her title. For the twenty minutes that they waited Daeva would mostly sit content, commenting every few minutes on the various things around the kitchen as she compared it to her memory
Daeva was more than a little eager when the food arrived, though a bit disappointed that she would have to wait a bit longer to try it. Still if that's what Nakiya wanted it was for the best. Besides she probably did need proper clothing if was going to keep wandering around the castle! As the servants were given the food and her mother opened another portal for them to quickly get across the castle Daeva would rush through the energy with great eagerness.
She was so very eager to experience everything her creation had to offer.
"Thank you" She would say simply, smiling as she placed her hand on Daeva's head, ruffling her hair playfully before the two moved on to referencing Daeva's memory. It was good, she seemed to know everything she was looking at, and if she couldn't immediately remember what something was, she would just repeat things until she got it right. Nakiya wasn't sure she'd ever felt more proud as she was in that moment... Here stood something, no someone, that she created on her own... even if Daeva didn't turn out to be as perfect as she intended, this was still her daughter... in more ways than one.
When the time finally came to retire to Nakiya's quarters, it barely took them any time at all to get there. Not only did her portal instantly take them to her room, but Daeva leaped through with haste. Either the girl was excited for clothes, or the food was very tempting.
The room they walked into seemed far too big to be a bedroom at all! there was a living space set up by the door with a dark red crescent moon shaped sofa adorned with black trim and woven with strange yet beautiful patterns. A small glass table sat in front of it, two empty cups of tea sitting there waiting to be filled. Behind them Daeva would be able to see the four poster bed adorned with similar silken sheets and pillows, dark curtains drawn up by golden colored ropes. Everything in this room screamed royalty as it displayed it's dark elegance.
"Why don't you have a seat at the table Daeva, the servant won't be long" She would state as she motioned towards the couch, waiting for Daeva to follow her instruction before moving to a door and opening it, stepping into what looked like a completely separate room... which was actually just her walk in closet. As they waited, Nakiya would begin to sift through the clothes, picking out everything from fine dresses to much more plain blazers and sweat pants.
The servant would soon arrive at the door not 2 minutes after the girls arrived in the room. He would knock at the door and enter quietly. He would push in a silver cart that he parked next to the glass table. From there, he would begin to set plates at either end, one in front of Daeva, and another in front of Nakiya. He would distribute the meal between the two, somehow making the whole thing look like it had come from a 5 star restaurant! He would finish setting the table by filling their tea cups, bowing towards the princess' 'guest' before leaving the room as quietly as he had arrived.
That was when Nakiya emerged from her closet, dropping the mass of clothes on her bed for them to play with before moving to sit by Daeva's side on the sofa.
"Well, let me know what you think" She would say as she waited on Daeva once more. She wanted to see if the girl would know how to feed herself before going for her own food. This way Daeva wouldn't just imitate her, and Nakiya would know she was once more using her own memories
Mother's touch was something that caused great happiness to stir in her newest creation. The joy that ran through her system was evidence that she was doing right, That every piece was working properly. Her purpose was that of her mother's. Nakiya's acknowledgment reinforced her confidence in herself! 'Fix the universe' to most it probably seemed Like an out their, impossible dream for fools. For Daeva it was simply what she was made to do, it was what mother wanted from her... to her that was all that mattered, far more than some dummies logic. She was glad to be on the right track.
Daeva of course had memory of the room in her mind, but it didn't mean she wasn't awed by it anyway. Their was only so much even ones memory could show you.... gosh it was sooooo big! It defiantly fit what she knew about royalty as well. Only the best material and patterns went to those that deserved such decore. it was just theirs, the ones that earned it. The man thing that caught the child's attention despite the rooms beauty? The two empty cups on the table in front of the crescent shaped sofa. In this instant she was eager to go towards the spot even before it was suggested to her, though it certainly reinforced the idea in her head!
"Okay ma... kay! Okay I can't wait!"
The newborn demon would correct her speech, a bit unsure if this was the kind of alone Nakiya refered to for her freedom. Coudnt be to careful after all! Never the less she would take her place at on the couch, eyeing the glasses with all the curiosity you'd expect from a child! She would even play around with a few ideas formed from the memories in her head blowing on the top of the glass in an attempt to make the sort of whistling sound doing so was supposed to create but failing, causing a pout to briefly cross her face. She would also try various methods of holding her glass while they waited for the food to arrive in an attempt to find one proper for her first meal. In the midst of this she watched, pretty much Just out of the corner of her eye Nakiya going towards the location she THOUGHT the closest was, did mama need clothes? She probably did get a bit messy with all her experiments!
It indeed wasn't long before the servant arrived! The reaction was an increase in her eagerness, the child noticeably shaking with excitement! She watched with baited breath as the servant made her and her mom's plates. He made it look s beautiful, like a masterpiece! Right down to the pouring of the tea everything looked wonderful to her. She also noted that this servant didn't SEEM to dislike her like the chief did, he even bowed! Though when she thought about it that might have just been cause she was supposed to be the guest of their princess. Yup that was probably it, still it was kinda nice to see. Shortly after the servant left the princess herself returned carrying a bunch of clothes with her. Taking a close look she would notice they wearn't all mother's size. Did that mean come were for her! Oh that would be wonderful! She could make herself look all kinds of ways, or however She needed to look. Ether way it was still cool to just look at the variety before her!
"For me mother....?"
When asked to give her opinion on the food Daeva would at first begin to go assembled dish with her hands, only stopping when her hand began to take hold of a piece of meat. Double check her memory Daeva would frown her mistake and place the meat back down before picking up the knife and fork next to her plate. She would slowly cut with one hand and place the meat in her mouth with the fork in the other, searching her memory before each bite. This resulted in her stopping and eating, much like you'd expect of a primitive robot. She was focused even in the act of feeding herself, she didn't want to disappoint mother in this ether!
"I... I like it mother! My taste buds work fine I think, cause the chief seems pretty good at his job!"
