Every preparation was made, so there was no reason to delay it any further. The White Brenchian wanted to take control of the Planet Trade Organization before someone beat her to the punch. Either by taking control of it themselves, or destroying it. It was a simple truth that the faction wouldn't last much longer in it's stagnant existence. If she wanted to change things for the better, she had to be the one to take that first step. No one on the Council would, and truthfully she didn't trust the task to anyone else... She had also made promises to her friends.
Vaneera would look over towards Motet. "Well, this is it. We're finally ready to head back to Planet Brench... Then we'll start the process of taking over the Planet Trade Organization. I know it won't be easy, but we've prepared for this.", the Future Viceroy would then turn her attention to the ship. It was purchased awhile back, and had several improvements made from back then. Most notably it was more spacious now, she never understood why the base models wasted so much space... It also had vastly improved engines, meaning that their travel time was drastically reduced.
But most important out of this entire list was the Stealth Unit. This meant that so long as every passenger suppressed their power, they could travel unnoticed... That was an important point to go over. "Okay... We have plenty of space in the ship, it's engines have been improved, and we have an active Stealth Unit. So we won't be detected as long as we suppress our power. Every passenger will need to do this, otherwise that part is rendered useless.", Vaneera explained in a calm tone of voice, and then accentuated the point by suppressing her Ki down to it's lowest point.
"I don't want to let anyone know what we're up to... My only concern is that it won't work on that God King. He seems to be able to tell what everyone is up to all the time. It's a good bet that as soon as we arrive to take over, he'll know about it. But we still have to try, maybe we'll get lucky.", the White Brenchian theorized. It would be really lucky if they didn't have to contend with Caesar... For as much progress as she and Motet made, they still didn't hold a candle to him.
But they couldn't just stay here on Earth and keep training in attempts to match his unreal strength. No, they just had to bank on the fact that he would be too distracted by something, or otherwise wouldn't find out about their little plan until they were already securely rooted. The Future Viceroy took this moment to review everything while she was waiting for the others to show up. There wasn't a huge rush to leave, it'd give everyone the chance to get ready as well. So who all was coming on this trip... Motet, obviously. So that was two seats.
Rinako seemed like another one that would come with, so that would be three seats. That left two other seats. Vaneera supposed that Flare could come with... But she hadn't heard from the Fire Elemi in awhile, and really it might make things that much more difficult if the God King did show up. So the fourth seat being taken was a 'maybe'... If Shizen was still here, and things hadn't gone so terribly, it would be a full ship however. But here they were, making due with the cards they were dealt. The White Brenchian made sure not to mention that.
Motet had been through enough as is. Hmm. So two free seats if Flare didn't show up... Otherwise just one seat left. Vaneera supposed that if anyone else wanted to join the trip, it wouldn't be something that she would really mind. So long as they didn't mind the cause they would be getting into. They would have to more or less commit on the spot, as the Future Viceroy didn't intend to postpone this for much longer. In her mind, it was now or never. They were as ready as they were going to get.
So why did she feel so nervous? Vaneera lets out a small sigh. "Already getting worked up...", she mutters quietly. Finally she glances over to Motet once more. "If for some reason all of this doesn't work... Earth can still be a good home for us... But if everything goes well, I think I'd like to make a vacation home here. I'll miss the planet and the village too much, after all.", the White Brenchian stated. Smiling a little in hopes to hide her fears about all of this. She talked up a big game, but now the real thing was going to happen.
Simulations and calculations only took you so far, and while the Future Viceroy prided herself on being fairly skilled... This was really going to make her put her money where her mouth was. "I don't know how many people will be showing up. I think Rinako expressed interest in coming. I've been a little out of it because of all of the planning I've done.", the White Brenchian admitted a little sheepishly. With a few more moments, she was able to compose herself however... This just had to be done, right? They were all ready now.
"Well... I'm ready when you are.", she finished. There really wasn't much else to be said. Vaneera would wait until everyone was prepared and began boarding the ship. It wasn't the most luxurious or advanced craft, but it would suit their purposes perfectly. They couldn't ask for a whole lot more than what they had. Not without even more preparation through funding. The truth of the matter was, if this worked out... Being Viceroy meant that acquiring more funds would be easy. They had a vast territory, after all. Being Leader meant that you staked a claim on the profits made.
It was time, today was the day! If they were allowed to continue the way they were back home.... bad things were sure to happen, one way or the other! Besides, she had to resolve things with her family, had to make them see the truth. She also had to take care of the council... one, maybe both of them were guarding them. Her siblings were going to be there to she was sure. She hoped that their would be no need for anymore death but... aside from her father she wasn't sure if the others would see reason. Her sister was just like she was. Her brother for all his pranks was loyal as the dogs on earth. And mother..... well she very much doubted the leader would back down, she only really listened to the council from what she remembered. Motet Was brought from her thoughts by Vaneera's words. She was right, they had prepared for this. From the day she crashed on earth, to meeting Shizen and Vaneera. The training and effort... pushing themselves to their limits. It all led to this. A bright, confident smile crossed Motet's face as she nodded to the future viceroy.
"Yes! It all begins here! Time to save our home right? Stop the council.... probaly my family to. I'm a bit nervous Vany, But this is what we've been training for right? To fix what's broken, to right the wrongs right? Were gonna be heroes!"
Though it was clear she was nervous about what was to come she tried to shine through with her playful attitude. Motet in most aspects had a very childlike personality. But that didn't mean she was an idiot. She understood what they were doing, they had been over it several times. Motet knew what she had to do. She knew she'd more than likely have to fight her family. That just didn't make it easier though! She wasn't as fond of hurting people as she used to be when she thought it was a game. Vany was right, not knowing had made her better as troop. It had allowed her to be thrown at anything that moved and all she had ever thought was 'yay a new game' But now? Quite often times she woke up in a heated sweat at night, thinking about all the people and things she had hurt with her actions. Vaneera said it wasn't her fault, it was how the council and the rest made her. But that didn't stop the visions of what she did and what she could have done from haunting her in her dreams. All those people... the lion... everyone. If she had kept going would she have cut down the nice people in their new home on earth? Would... Would she have cut down Vany? It was thoughts like this that woke her in heat. It often lead to Vaneera allowing the childish girl to sleep in her own room to help calm her down. Doing so helped Motet a lot. Ultimatly it even allowed her to sleep her nightmares away!
That aside, she realized she coudn't keep living in the past. Vaneera had helped her see what she coudn't before. Because of her the things in her nightmares wouldn't happen again. Vaneera was her closest friend, she owed her more than she could ever repay in her eyes. So it was only natural that she put her all into freeing their hone so she could lead it into the future!
"Ok, I'll try my best to keep it down Vany!"
She didn't want to let the white brenchian down. She would do anything asked, cause together they could do anything! Well, that's what she thought anyway. Its what they had been working towards right? Motet's mood became more noticeably down at the reminder of Caesar. That jerk... what was he doing to Shizen right now? Would he mess with them when they went to free their planet? Why coudn't he just mind his own buisness? What gave him the right to mess with everyone else's lives?! He just... he made her so mad!
"Vany he... he's the only one I still wanna hurt.... is that bad? He's such a horrible man. Because of him shizy was taken away... theirs no telling what he's making her do, like I bet he made her that night in the park! That has to be it... right...? Hes making her do bad things... and that means he hurt you to..."
At this point it was obvious Motet was trying to convince herself more than anyone else. They had spoken about Shizen a few times since that night of course. Vaneera had told her what their friend had done... but Motet just coudn't bring herself to believe that Shizen was capable of such a thing of her own will. When they first met Shizen got mad at her for harming one animal. She simply could not see Shizen wanting to hurt anyone! The very idea of it... of Shizen having that joyful look Motet once bore when she 'played' with others... It was enough to upset her stomach, their was just no way she would do that-not in a million years!
"So I... we, we have to save her when we can. I know we can't right now but... I can't let that creep keep her! She's OUR friend, not his! Why.... Why coudn't he just get his own?! Why... why..."
Motet would lean foward, laying her head on Vaneera's shoulder as she had a brief cry about the whole situation. She had put on a brave face up til now, but the reminder of Caesar's actions was enough to break down the fragile wall she formed around herself. Why Shizen? Out of all of them she was probably the purest. Why would a baddie want someone like her? The pure coudn't be turned bad... that was a thing right?
A smile crossed her face as Vaneera mentioned earth being their home, a place they could return to... both of them. If things went bad they could come back here. If they succeeded it could be a vacation spot.... She liked that idea.
"Right, this is home to... and we'll both come back right Vaneera? I... I don't want to lose another friend...."
She already lost Shizen. If Motet lost Vaneera to? The brenchian honestly felt like she'd break in to. But that wouldn't happen! No, they were going to fix everything... so she shouldn't worry about cause it would never ever happen... right?
"Yes let's go Vaneera! We got a planet to save, heroes to be! I'm right behind you, Mrs future viceroy!"
Motet would back away from Vaneera and hold out her hand with a smile for her friend to take. All they had right now was each other... but that was enough. They were gonna be heroes together, alongside anyone else that decided to come. Yeah... heroes.
And if she knew any better, maybe a bit more.

Rinako still hadn’t fully recovered from everything as of lately, she still was sunk deep thin of her mother, She missed the voice she would never get to hear again, not until her time to pass would ever come. Ever since she had left to the cold north alone she had came back still mostly the same only it seemed she had begun to wear a mask of which. A strange one shaped like the face of a fox, it’s vibrant white and red colors matching to the yellowish orange of her eyes. The mask seemingly making her head look like that of a fox as it covered the skin of her face. Her eyes however a perfect fit for the mask due to the fox like shape already.
All sense of emotion to be told from her mouth hidden from any view unless one were to take off the mask. As she looked at her friends, her eyes gleaming at them like that of a fox. She could swear though that she could hear a voice of some kind. It was faint but slowly it was growing. Ever since she had placed the mask on she had heard it, almost a whisper through her ears. She tried desperately to reach it, but everytime she tried to push farther and farther, it felt like it was moving itself farther and farther away. It was so strange..still though only a minor issue to what was to come possibly from helping her friends.
They were wanting to end a corrupted government, and if these people were as tough as they said they were than it was almost a bit scary thinking of just how that could possibly be. Though as she did begin to grow a bit nervous with anxiousness, she felt that calming feeling once more, that sense of safety and security coming from her mask. She didn’t know how she could continue without it really. Without that sense of relief that came to her every few seconds. She had even been regretting lately..of having even came back to life, things had been so much more peaceful back with Rumia. Back without any of the worry’s of life, back without the thought that once she was done helping Vaneera out that she would have to come back and take the throne...huh..she really did have quite a stressful life didn’t she?
Still..the amount she had begun to learn of the life her mother once led. It had all been overwhelming at first, if her mother had been a Princess, what had happened to cause her to live in such a rundown way? Had anything she been told before been true? Or had it all been lies? How did her father really die? How did her grandparents die? Who were these alliance people that her mother had helped with defending earth from? Was there more like that guy she had met out in the woods? The creepy older flirting guy? They had said they had worked for some kind of empire and had wanted to join this alliance. While she didn’t know the full details on this alliance she did know that she had been tired of the man, enough to knock him out and deliver him to the Alliance Outpost.
She hoped that they would be coming back one day soon, that nothing wrong would happen on this trip, that no one else had to die. She supposed everyone could have their hopes, but how true were they going to be lived up to?
”Van, I can’t suppress my ki. I’ve never learned how really. I’m really sorry about it, but that still isn’t going to stop me from coming, besides..we know our luck. No doubt he would come even if we did. If he does come though...let's try to do it as peacefully as possible..I don’t want to risk any further threats to my own home. I hope you like my new mask though, a family heirloom, it really brings out the fire in me hehe.” Rinako would say with a smile hidden under the muzzle portion of her mask. Her eyes fitting the eye slots so perfect due to their natural fox shape, the white color matching her own fur. It was almost a little scary from her looks, almost like she looked like an actual fox.
Turning towards Motet, with a wink of an eye to symbolize a bit of friendship she nodded to van. She was ready to depart.
Motet was ready to stop the Council, but decidedly not as ready to face her own family... Vaneera could understand that. It wasn't a pleasant situation even knowing that they were wrong. "Don't worry, Motet. I'll help you convince them!", Vaneera would reply in attempts to comfort her friend. "But you're right! We've trained for this, so we're as ready as we're going to get!", she added with a smile... The White Brenchian felt confident with her own power and skill, this would go smoothly. Most everyone would be discouraged from trying to fight. But bringing allies on top of that?
Neither Motet or Rinako were weak. Rinako was the 'lowest on the rung', but the Kitsune still had a respectable power. And if necessary, they'd keep her alive through this. With their combined might, they shouldn't have any issues getting through this without any issues... Just maybe it'd give Rinako what she needed, too. She appeared to be doing better now, but not entirely. It made sense, and Vaneera tried not to point it out so that the Kitsune could focus on recovery... Of course, Motet's mood always seemed to sour at the mere mention of the God King.
That was something the Future Viceroy could understand as well. "I don't think I can entirely blame you for it, no... He's done a lot of horrible things. I do think that someone needs to put a stop to him, but that's well outside of our goals for now. We don't have the power or the resources to go to war with him or his Empire.", she explained. It was all stuff that her friend would most likely not want to hear, but... It still had to be said. If they tried fighting him, it was going to result in pointless death.
Or worse. And it wouldn't be his side that was losing. Still, when Motet leaned forward to Vaneera, she would cooperate with the gesture and hug her. "It's what people like him like to do... It's just like I told you before, some people get so used to viewing lives as a game that even when they learn it's wrong, they don't care. All we can do is not let him win.", she spoke softly. She wasn't going to lie to Motet, but that didn't mean that the truth needed to be this incredibly harsh reality. There was still hope.
Slight as it might have been. "So if he does show up again... We won't treat him as an enemy. It's our only chance to ensure that another tragedy won't happen.", she added. This reminded the White Brenchian of those moments where Motet would wander into her room, speaking of nightmares that wouldn't let her sleep. Vaneera of course allowed her to sleep in her room in those situations. Honestly, it was almost getting to the point where Motet didn't even need to ask anymore... There was no sense in delaying what her friend preferred, right? It was what she wanted too.
Finally, it seemed like her friend had calmed down, and then asked if they would both be coming back from this. The Future Viceroy didn't hesitate to nod in response. "Of course! Nothing is going to stop us. Even if this plan fails. I've taken as many situations as I can into account just for this.", she would respond. After that, it seemed like Motet was ready to stand on her own two feet again, and offered a hand towards Vaneera. A gesture which the White Brenchian accepted. "Right! Then not much reason to delay any further!"
Just after that, Rinako would speak up, however. "Hmm... Well, I would prefer it if all the passengers could suppress their energy. But truth be told, I don't think this will really give us much of an advantage. Caesar himself would be able to tell what's going on. And either he'll show up... Or he'll send some of his people in response. But we still have to try.", Vaneera explained. There was quite a few tactical advantages to being stealthy about this... But if Rinako couldn't suppress her energy, then there was no helping it. They'd make due without it.
After all, it would have no effect on the God King. She didn't fear the Council or those loyal to them, it was the Cerulean Empire that was more of a concern. "As for your mask... It's pretty nice! Reminds me of the one I used to have. I need to get it back at some point.", she added. Yeah... Caesar took it as a trophy, that was something that she remembered clearly. One day she was going to get it back from him. It was going to be a long day from right now, however. She reminded herself of that.
With that in mind... Vaneera turned towards the ship. "Starlancer, open the ramp.", the machine whirred for a moment, and the ramp slid down slowly with a hiss... Once everyone was on board, they would set off towards Planet Brench. Vaneera looked towards Motet once more, and smiled lightly. Then the Future Viceroy stepped onto the ship, likely still holding her friend's hand in the process. Eventually however, she would need both of her hands as she sat down in the Captain's Chair. "Both of you go ahead and make yourselves comfortable. I just need to run a few diagnostics."
The Future Viceroy stated. Then she pulled up the star map on the console in front of her and... Hmm. That was strange. Planet Kanassa was marked as abandoned. Why was that? Vaneera focused her senses, feeling throughout the Galaxy to sense what was going on in that region... It wouldn't distract her from the basic system checks that she needed to do before they set off. The Future Viceroy just couldn't shake a general feeling of uneasiness ever since reading that, though... A planet being abandoned could be for any number of things, but... She had to make certain of it.
WC: 1,004 Total WC: 2,013 ___________________ We shall be departing next post, unless either of you have things that you need to do!
"I... I know we can't Vany... I know we can't touch him right now. I just.... he took away m...my first friend on earth. You and Shizen taught me so much. She's... he dosn't deserve a friend like her!"
Motet would state clearly. She was heavily in denial in regards to her friend being at fault in anyway. She simply didn't want to belive! Besides Shizen was such a nice person.... She remembered the night they met. Shizen had used her control over plant life to prevent them from freezing! How could she every be anything but that kind? Motet Would grip her friends hand tightly as she explained the situation with Caesar to her, a rather sullen look on her face.
"B..but he has her, didn't he already win? I just... you and her were both so kind to me, despite my flaws.... I don't want ether of you to be hurt. No matter what... I want you to be happy. But now Shizen is with Caesar and theirs... theirs just no way he could make her happy! Vaneera.... if you want me to pretend he's not my enemy, If that'll help you Vany I'll do it for you... but inside I... I just can't. Not for real"
Holding her friends hand tightly she would lean on her shoulder briefly for comfort once more. Doing so helped Motet, and it had become a habit of hers when Vaneera allowed her to sleep in her room. It always made her feel a bit better, now was no different. It made the childish brenchian feel comfortable and a lot more at ease. She could never forgive Caesar. The feeling he gave her was one she did not like! It was one of... Of sadness and hurt. She didn't like it! Still she... she had to help Vany. She would do as she wanted, if it made her happy. It did make her feel better when Vaneera said they would both be coming back. Motet would move back a bit, still holding Van's hand.
"You... You promise.... right Vany? Both of us... together?"
She wanted Rinako to come back to of course, but she would be lost without Vaneera. She didn't think she could bear to lose both of her close friends. She'd be lost.
Motet gave a light chuckle at Rinako's mask. Not to make fun of her though no, the mask looked great on Riny! It perked her up a bit to. Motet returned her friends smile and gave a firm nod as Vaneera called for the ship to open. For the the first time since she arrived on earth she was centering a ship... to leave it no less! With her free hand she waved playfully or Rinako to follow behind them, then returned to walking up the ramp and into the ship with her friends, holding Vaneera's hand right up until she needed them. When Vaneera said for them to get comfortable Motet would think it over for a second, before simply moving to stand between her two friends and spinning around playfully.
"Next stop, PLANET BREEEEENCH!"

Rinako looked back at the ground below her, was this possibly going to be her last meeting with Van and Motet? There was always that chance but once she came back to Earth and took her place, the one her Mother had destined her for. Would she be able to see them nearly as often any further if followed through with her own plan of action? Even if it meant possibly hurting friends feelings? Was she willing to make that sacrifice to keep Earth safe for good? Yes..she promised her mother she would do whatever she could to keep the planet safe. This wasn’t a war she wanted to have the rest of the earthlings be a part of, and she was going to do everything in her power to prevent such.
She had promised Rumia she would do whatever she could to keep the Earth safe after all, what better way was there then to try and keep the Earth Neutral out of such conflicts for now until they could form a stronger base, and when that came..well who knows..she would help whatever side had a true good to it. Whichever one would help out the galaxy and not destroy it. She didn’t want to see anyone else suffer again. It was a promise after all she had made. Not to let anyone suffer.. That was her way..and she didn’t plan for anything else to interfere with that. Those were her very thoughts as she silently sat down away from the two.
The ramp closed as soon as all of it's passengers had safely boarded. The ship began to whir to life as Vaneera finished the last of the diagnostics, but there was something that gave her pause. Something that she could sense. That she could feel right down to her very core. Planet Kanassa wasn't just abandoned. It was destroyed, and she had the misfortune of sensing right at the moment that it occurred. The White Brenchian was able to pinpoint that the Caesar was there... Some other small power as well. But neither of them were the culprit. No, it was someone else.
Someone that she recognized right away. Shizen. Most of the people managed to get away through some grace... But so many died in defense of their home. So many didn't have a home now. It wasn't something that could just be written off as 'the Caesar was responsible'. Shizen had done this, whether that was her true self or not... It couldn't be undone. The Future Viceroy was for the very first time at a true loss for words... She said nothing as she began the final sequences for the ship to begin hovering off of the ground.
Slowly it rose into the air, and they would begin making their departure from Earth. It was going to be a long trip, because Vaneera wouldn't breathe a word to this to either Motet or Rinako. Neither of them would be able to accept that truth... Motet especially couldn't handle it right now. The White Brenchian didn't know what she was going to do the next time she saw her old friend... Something had to be done. If she couldn't be brought back to normal, then she was a threat that needed to be eliminated. For everyone that had just been wronged.
The Planet Trade Organization were far from saints, but this was an extreme. An extreme that she wanted to do away with. Shizen knew of it, and there was no way that she didn't. Not with all of the plans that had been shared. All of the ideas... A part of her couldn't believe that she felt even more betrayed since that day back in the park. If one were to look over to her, they would only see a look of grim determination on her face. Like someone had just killed her entire family and she was out for vengeance.
She was so fixated on what was ahead of her, despite that. The Future Viceroy would keep course towards Planet Brench, there was nothing she could do to help the people now rendered homeless. There would be no survivors from that destruction, either. Planet Kanassa was lost, and all she could do was move forward now. At least with the improved engines... It would be a fairly short trip. Although it had no point due to Rinako's inability to suppress her Ki, the Stealth Unit was active as well. The extra space proved to make things a little more comfy as well.
She'd probably need it right now. Her goals wouldn't change, however. There would be no war pursued against the Caesar, there was just no way to pull out a victory. She had to make the Planet Trade Organization into something better, even if it meant she had to get through Shizen to do it... After that. Vaneera intended to form an alliance with Earth, Rinako would make for a good way to do that. She didn't have much else figured out, it depended on how the Saiyan Alliance was going to react. As well as whether or not the Cerulean Empire would leave them be.
There were variables to everything. There was a chance that all of this wasn't going to work out, but she had come this far and she was going to try. In the end that was all she could really do, but this... It was like a test put forth just for her. What was the right choice when it was one of her own friends that had gone down such a dark path? What if it came to blows? Would... Motet come to hate her because of that? Would Rinako?
In the end, that was what Vaneera was beginning to fear the most, that one day she would end up alone. Whether by her friends leaving, dying, being corrupted. Or... Every single thing that seemed to be happening right now. More than ever she needed a little bit of hope and faith. Maybe a decent hug. But she wasn't going to ask for it, it'd just mean that she'd have to explain why. Every last bit of this was something she'd have to bury deep down, and then turn it into strength. She'd need it to put a stop to the Council.
The Future Viceroy took a deep breath... Or two. There was no sense in just sitting there stewing about it all. The White Brenchian slowly stood up from her chair. "The ship is on auto pilot, so we're free to do what we want. If anything happens, the computer will automatically alert us.", she spoke briefly. Vaneera didn't feel much for conversation. She probably didn't sound like it either. One could probably read her like an open book, but she didn't intend to say anything about what she felt unless confronted about it, and it was dragged out of her.
Vaneera would just make her way over to one of the vacant beds, lie down and... Think. Shizen had just unknowingly changed a lot of her plans. There wasn't much else she was going to do on the flight over, not with the ship being capable of automating much of the process. All she had to do now was hope that the God King wasn't going to show up in her attempt to take over the Planet Trade Organization. That was really the one thing that she couldn't possibly pull out a victory for. It would be another slaughter.
Maybe she was just stressed and overthinking it.
