Gripped in Rumia's hand was a very special talisman. A pass of sorts that the kai had held onto for quite a while, but never had a real reason to use. But if those two were so determined to return to life.... someone needed to watch their actions, ensure they didn't do anything foolish. Besides... their was someone on earth Rumia wished to meet, if the talisman had enough energy perhaps she would visit her short time student as well. Their was a recent arrival on Otherworld, one Rinako coudn't be taking the death of well. She could not fix everything, she knew that. Besides she could feel the precense of two other energies with her. With any luck they would be able help the girl through her troubles. As well as affirm her resolve. Still if their was any leftover energy... yes anything she had leftover would go towards her, but for now... their was a kami she wished to meet. For quite a while she had wished to meet the one whom she had seen Sora to as an advisor. Yes, now was the time.
The only problem? When the energy from the talisman dispersed she didn't actually SEE Atsuko anywhere. She could see the lookout around her, she could feel her energy and oddly enough felt metal and skin on her bottom, rather than the stone she expected from viewing it from Otherworld. Speaking of which hadn't she been on her feet a moment ago? Slowly the shorter kai would look just below her, only to see the hair of the kai she had been coming to see, she had materialised on Atsuko's shoulders!
"Woah... woopsie!"
Immediately the Surpreme Kai Would flip off of the kami's shoulders, landing on her feet in front of her before turning back to face her. Well that was a little embarrassing, but never the less one way to make an impression! Rumia would place Her hands on her hips not really making much concern with what had just happened.
"Hello Atsuko! I am Rumia, Surpreme Kai Of The Western Quidrent of the galaxy, you likely know my confident Sora, I assume she spoke of me. I am here because... their are things we must discuss, both business.... and otherwise!"
Rumia would handle the crucial aspects of their meeting first. She did wish to speak of more.... emotion based matters. But it would have to wait, their were more important things to come first!

"Do you feel that?" One would say to the other. "I know this energy... Its something important. A big cheese! The big boss! The head Honcho! The big Kahuna! The Don Capo! Or something like that! WHY ARE YOU JUST SITTING THERE! GO OUT THERE THIS MEANS THEY NEED A ENTRANCE!" He'd say still hidden. The lookout likely knowing little of his living here just yet. Besides a flicker of sensed power now and again between the strange happenings that would have seemed like a ghost to most. Sheets mysteriously pulling off ladies in their sleep and shower curtains and temperatures changing at a whim. The strange cameras discovered created through magical means but their pictures created all always gone. Stashed in a lewd nudey box with images less then composed in posture for the gaurdian and her sister. But that was of no real importance.
Meanwhile though Cicero stomped his ghost foot on the ground angry this creature was ignoring him in his hiding spot. He went to shake it as his hands merely glided through it. A moment later the body falling with a thud to the ground. The mask slightly turning to one side nearly knocked off. "Oh right... your my body... You can't move without me actually still inside you... Body and soul and all that... heheheh... inside you. But wait inside myself... Now thats just strange... But oh well! We have business. Time to wake up me. Or I'll wake me up! Yes... Just wait me! I'll never see it coming!" Performing a leap as a ghost and swan diving down into his body to fill it once again with the energy of a Kai. But at that moment... he couldn't help but wonder how funny it would have been if in some of his fun times in hiding. If someone had found his body. It would have been a real... Skeleton in the closet! He could hardly contain his internal laughter!
It was in almost pure silence after Rumia the supreme Cheese of great lordship of on direction that faced one way different from four others. Unless you a grand cheese! Or something like that... No he was sure that was right as he mentally searched his cobwebs of memories. Which was handy since half his physical bodied brain was literally cobwebs now.
But behind the grand Guardian of cheese and one direction that faced different then four others! The Kami of large breasticles would see behind the directional lady this! A at first in a poof of smoke silently the embodied creature standing just barely four foot tall. Cicero in all his glory. Standing tall but in truth a few inches shorter then his full four feet as his head was to be frank... Not anywhere to be found. Standing with his hands to his hips. He'd pat his foot several times as if to begin the beat of some song or musical. An within a matter of moments. Within the air in several small pops of magic and mist. Speakers appeared just hovering there! Playing a small tune that would be similar to a marching band in style.
Coming out of the lookout doorway would then as Cicero's body already standing tall or more short rather... Would begin marching in place not moving but simply staying put and performing the motions. But with the power of magical cration!
Through the door would come his head. Bouncing up and down on the ground leading a small marching band of small one inch tall creatures. All created via magic but to anyone else would feel like little singe Power level creatures. Falling him and playing their cheery tune in a long very well formed marching band line. But a few performing little shenanigans along the way.
This would consist for several moments till just moments before reaching the body the line would stop and form a circle around him and continue to play. But the head leading them would then bounce and flip upwards landing perfectly on the shoulders of the creature who would dance lightly for the last few moments before all the creatures and creations would poof into small clouds during the big finale!
"I know a word of letters three. Add two, and fewer there will be!" He'd say at the very end of all this looking at them chuckling as the creature of flashed energy before appeared yet again. The energy of something mixed within him but twisted and mutilated from a ancient curse near impossible to reverse. The energy of the damned and undead stand before them now! In all his splendor and glory with a mind long since broken and lost to the ages! "What is it?"

It was another slow day on the Timeless Lookout... Well, actually, that wasn't something to be bored about anymore. The Knight enjoyed the peace. Atsuko was actually able to slow down and just savor it. It was so easy to get wrapped up in her duties, or her training. But stopping in order to 'smell the flowers' as it were... That was important too. Getting her life back on track had been no easy feat, but she was getting there. Despite what some people had to say about her. Soragami had thus far been the most understanding aside from Micaela.
The Albino Saiyan was truly thankful for the companionship. It was probably the only thing keeping her sanity in check at this point, people that she could rely on... One would think that was easy to come by, but it really wasn't. Still, life goes on. The Saiyan arched a brow however. She ended up sensing a new energy here on Earth... In fact, right here on the Lookout! But where were they? It almost felt like the signature was coming from herself, but that didn't make any sense. The Albino Saiyan pondered it over silently for just a moment...
But then she'd notice the Kai that was standing on her shoulders. The small pink girl would voice an 'oops' and then hop off of the Knight's shoulders, before that very same girl would then turn back towards her and introduce herself. The Knight blinked in response. "Wait... You're Rumia?", the Albino Saiyan inquired. Atsuko would then hold out a hand and... Wait, she was measuring the Kai's height. "I sort of expected someone taller... The titles and stories create a more imposing figure...", she'd state... Although, that wasn't much of a greeting! The Saiyan immediately caught her rudeness, however.
"Ah, sorry! I'm Kami Atsuko Inoue, the Guardian of Earth. But... It seems you already knew that. Your assistant did speak of you as well. I didn't expect that you would be arriving so soon, however!", the Saiyan would admit. Greeting Rumia properly. "So you're here to discuss several things... Well, I suppose we should move inside the Palace, then?", the Albino Saiyan asked rhetorically, turning only to then see something she had never seen before. Whatever it was, it was small and bore a strange mask. And it was blocking their path. The Knight once more blinked in response.
"Is... That a friend of yours?", the Albino Saiyan asked of Rumia. Whatever it was, it was speaking in riddles. "Word of letters three... What.", it puzzled her mostly because it made no sense. Was it actually poising a riddle to them, or was it just... Speaking in a broken language? It didn't look entirely 'there', if that made any sense. But at least it didn't seem to be hostile either. The more the Knight wracked her mind for the answers, the less she seemed to be able to come up with any explanation. Of course, all of the music that suddenly started up wasn't lost on her either.
The Timeless Lookout wasn't so quiet or barren anymore. The Knight wasn't sure how to feel about that. Sure, she expected Rumia to liven the place up a bit, just from what Soragami was saying about her Master. But the Knight was fairly certain that none of this was in those stories, either. "Excalibur... Can you make heads or tails out of this?", the Saiyan asked. The Sacred Sword pondered for a moment. "I have no clue... I'm just as lost as you are. Both on whatever this is, as well as that riddle."
Maybe the Knight would just have to rely on Rumia to help solve this matter. The Supreme Kais had limitless knowledge, right? It was a decent bet. But she was hoping not to have to make such an odd request just after her arrival, either... Still, with not much of a choice... "Well, I'm sufficiently lost. Do you know what that is? ...The riddle as well as him, I mean.", the Albino Saiyan would inquire and elaborate in one fell swoop. The Knight didn't even bother asking what her Corrupted Half might think of this. She'd probably overreact again.
Atsuko didn't really need that always happening on the Lookout... She still needed to sort things out with the Black Knight. Times were changing, and they were changing for the better. But hey, she couldn't really do anything just yet either. She had two guests to deal with. One that she really didn't want to just brush off. Maybe Rumia would be able to help with her darker half, actually... But it would just have to be one step at a time. Whatever this thing was, it wasn't hostile at the moment and maybe it was better to keep it that way.
The golden sword would glow lightly and then take human form at the Knight's side. "I figured I should introduce myself as well... I am Excalibur!", the woman in red introduced herself with pride. Then she turned her gaze towards Cicero. "Since we appear to be speaking in riddles... I have one for you! Since it appears we need a bit of time to figure yours out.", the Sacred Sword would decide to play along with Cicero's game. "Ready? Then here goes...", Excalibur would pause for a moment. She had an interesting one in mind for him.
"How can your pocket be empty, but still have something in it?", she poised to the little being. Maybe he'd have fun trying to figure out how to solve that one. Excalibur ended up having a lot of time on her hands to think up little mind puzzles like that one. Well. All of the introductions out of the way... Atsuko and Excalibur both fell silent while they waited for the two new guests to respond. It was certainly going to be an interesting day from here on out. That much was indeed certain... But at least it wasn't going to be unpleasant?
Lucy had taken a dive behind one of the stone pillars whenever rumia had suddenly popped into existence. It had actually managed to startle her away from Atsuko, when normally she would cling to her mama in fright.
Upon closer inspection though, the lady that appeared out of no-where really wasn't all that scary. Not in appearance at least, though something deep within her was still terrified of Rumia... while she couldn't sense ki, it was clear to her that this was someone with an otherworldly feel...
For a very brief second, Lucy's eyes would flash red as Nakiya herself seemed to be looking through Lucy'so eyes.
"Mama has some strange visitors all the time..." the girl would murmur from her spot behind the pillar. She wasn't hiding very well at all, and so Rumia would easily be able to see her behind Atsuko.

"Yes dear Kimi......ah sorry I mean Atsuko, force of habit, talk to Tomoroko a lot... don't recall if you know her yet or not? Regardless yes! that is correct my name is Rum.... HEY!"
The smaller kai would pitch a small fit, throwing her arms in the air and huffing when Atsuko measured and commented on her height.
"Hey I can't help how the tree made me! Besides the kami of all people should be a littttle less focused on this thing eh? Kais also only come to the universe as a whole on important matters! .....besides I blame the higher ups for our names, people always assume were all powerful or something you know? Just not the case'"
Rumia would then nod and sigh when the kami apologized and introduced herself. Her assumptions were fair enough, especially having never seen a kai before, but it was always such an annoying topic for her! You didn't have to be big and intimidating to do your job, in fact sometimes things like that just made it harder! Several times over the years her size and appearance had gone a long way towards settling matters easier!
"Yes... I had at first simply thought sending Sora along would be enough. But... recent incidents have proved to change my mind, for example try to feel around in the eastern part of the galaxy if you can, theirs a hole- a void there, a planets gone. Yes.... this incident and others. It is the reason I need to speak with you. However.... your ears are the only ones that need to hear this. I cannot risk it getting out and about the universe understand.... I know children shouldn't ve left alone though... do you have anyone that can watch your cute little daughter here?"
The girl would lean down down briefly, rather ironic given she wasn't that much taller than lucy to begin with. She'd offer the girl a wide smile. Even if she was a creation of Nakiya's she deserved to be treated as a individual-not judged for the actions of her mother. But despite that fact she could not risk the information getting to anyone but Atsuko. She had no intention of treating Lucy wrongly but.... that was simply how it needed to be.
"Hey there, I'm Rumia, your names Lucy right? I need to speak to your mother for a bit ok? Very important grown up stuff and all that, I guess you could say!"
The Kai would giggle lightly before turning back to face the Kami.
"So yes, moving inside the palace would probaly be a good Id..... huh?!"
Rumia was just as confused as Atsuko when the the masked creature showed up. Its energy felt somewhat familiar to her yes... but she didn't recognise the being on a personal level by any means! She placed her hands on her hips as she addressed them both.
"Uhhhh...... no Suko, can't say I do! Hey, masked guy you... wanna stop playing riddles? I absolutely stink at those!"
The music also made her suspicious. Not in a BAD way of course just... their were not many races out there capable of feats like this. It made her want to investigate the matter thoroughly. She would shake her head however when Atsuko asked if she knew the answer to the riddle, however what he was? That she could shine a bit of light on.
"Similar to my kind... but defently a spirit, one that didn't leave this world for one reason or another"
Rumia decided to sit back and watch how the being interacted with the one called Excalibur. Then she would continue to converse with the kami, That was her main goal after all, once they were alone
He'd stamp his foot a couple times and grab the sides of his face and mask as if forlorn or as if all was lost! Seemingly taken back by the answer first given. Looking almost as if he was about to faint perhaps as well. Strange as the mask gave off most if not all expressions a real face would have given from the eyes, brow, and light cheek movements within it. "Its few... I know a word of letters three! add TWO, and 'Fewer' There will be! I am disappointed... How can you be a guardian and fail at the great riddles of Cicero the grand master of Things and stuff! You as well Grand protector of one direction separate from the others! Just because you face that one way doesn't mean you can't look behind you at the joke now lost! Its enough to make me lose my head!" He'd say.
As well as then pulling literally his head from his shoulders with a twist and very audible crack. Then smashing it into the ground although it had little effect beyond simply bouncing one until he placed his foot on top of it as if it were some sports ball holding it in place. Arms crossing over the just barely four foot tall creature Its head under foot and facing them in the full look of a captain standing on a barrel only the barrel was the head with wide eyes and wigglig eyebrows on the mask covering it.
The head letting out a light snort. At Excalibur "A hole in your pocket is what you have! I've had along time with only the games! You'd have to try harder then that to beat me! My power is Maximum!" He'd say giggling lightly with the occasional snort coming from the head under foot. He'd kick the head like a ball it moving a few feet ahead of him at a time like a soccer ball in movement and motion as he neared them in a sudden lightly and casual brisk walk. "Strange creatures, Strange behaviors. I've seen you before but you don't visit the sacred areas like the others. I can sneak and traverse all I like but a being mainly in sword form is not easy to capture! You failed to answer my riddle as well as now I have answered yours. That means you must submit to me! Grant me what I have of the other two but no the the third of similar view!" He'd say walking up near all of them and pausing briefly lifting his head back up and cracking it back on in place. At first a little crooked then with a twist back on straight. Masked eyes blinking for a couple moments. He'd then reach under his hat as with a magical poof a camera appeared next to his head floating there. A special model that made the pictures right then and there. Magical design he mimicked with his magic after studying a few books and magazines left around the lookout. Slipping a hand from his hat and pulling out a few photos he had on him. And flashing them forward so Excalibur could see... and likely everyone else as his haunting exploits and strange flashes occasionally seen in the lookout of recent weeks as well as odd happenings with the water pressure would be explained. A small handful of rather interesting clothing of the guardian and her sister in undergarments, or in times of cleaning themselves with less on. Maybe not clear how he did it given they had not seen his ghost body like the sister had before. But it would provide at least some explanation even if Cicero himself did not realize this.
"Let me see your panties... I'll get the other stuff on my own." The camera clearly warmed up to flash next to him hovering there as then another pop of smoke as a flying pencil and paper were ready to sketch without anyone there to hold them. The pictures he had in his hand as examples as well for his 'collection' likely rather embarrassing as well. Just the small example as well of his growing and one day grand collection.
Atsuko looked over to Rumia as she began to introduce herself. Using her Saiyan name at first, it... It was something that the Knight didn't particularly enjoy. But she was trying to work over her hatred of Saiyans. That included her roots. Kimiko wasn't a name that she should regard with shame, right? Still, with everything the Saiyans had done, it was hard to do that. It was easier to just say that she shouldn't. But the Albino Saiyan was going to try and work on that. However, the little pink Kai seemed upset over pointing out the matter of her height.
"I'm really sorry... I know people can't help how they've grown. I admit I don't really know what to expect of the Kais... I've only had stories to go off of, I've never met them before. I guess that has changed now?", the Saiyan admitted. At least it didn't seem like she was the type to dwell on it. It was then that the Supreme Kai then elaborated slightly on what brought her here so fast. Something happened in the Eastern Galaxy? The Albino Saiyan closed her eyes and began to sense in that vicinity... She was right.
A planet was gone, it was an unmistakable sensation. It had truthfully escaped the Knight's notice... Well, that's not entirely true. Atsuko felt like it was outside of her jurisdiction, she was the Guardian of Earth, after all. That meant that her position was to safeguard a single planet and nothing more. There may have been special exceptions, but... That was her duty. "I thought something was off... So, Jarvis is still up to his usual tricks. He's decided to leave Earth alone, at least.", the Knight admitted. "I feel sorry for those caught in that destruction, however. If I could have done something..."
The Saiyan's hands would tighten into fists. Her first instinct to solve things was to fight, of course. That was something difficult to override, and her lifestyle as the Kami didn't exactly make that situation any easier... Hmm, in any case. Rumia said that it was something to discuss alone, and that meant not even Lucy could be around to hear. That was a bit difficult, though the Knight could understand it. "Excalibur, can you make sure Lucy will be alright? I imagine you can entertain our guest as well while I take care of business."
The Saiyan stated. The woman in red gave a nod. About then, that strange being began to explain the meaning behind it's riddle, of course now it sounded obvious... But it certainly made no sense before! ...Then he revealed a series of things that he had done on the Lookout. Atsuko felt a slight tinge of anger, and really wanted to teach the little bugger a lesson, but she suppressed her anger. More important things, right? The Albino Saiyan would begin making her way inside the Palace. Content to leave Lucy and Cicero in Excalibur's capable hands. As for the Sacred Sword...
She'd walk over to Lucy's obvious hiding spot. "Hey. I know we haven't talked a whole lot, but you can trust me!", the woman in red would state to the girl, hoping to keep Lucy from getting too worked up needlessly. After that, she glanced back at Cicero. Grinning a bit. "Now now... Who said that my game was done? I had to be sure that you even had a chance for the real thing!", she'd boast. Excalibur clearly needed to dig into a more impressive list of riddles, however. One that would truly make the little being confused.
"Alive without breath, as cold as death; Never thirsty, ever drinking, all in mail never clinking.", Excalibur poised her riddle to Cicero. That should stump him! But she had three more riddles that she could use against him before she'd really declare her game over. After all, what round of riddles was truly over with only a single answer? Besides, it would offer a distraction for the little guy so he wouldn't bother Atsuko and Rumia, and she could keep an eye on Lucy at the same time. That seemed a pretty good way to handle this particular dilemma!
Meanwhile... Atsuko finally arrived in the meeting room. It was vacant for now, as there hadn't been a need to gather the Knights in some time. Everyone had been enjoying the peace... Or trying to. Really, things were still pretty bad. The Saiyan sighed lightly to herself. Once Rumia entered, she would close the door behind them and then lock it. Privacy seemed to be a concern for this, after all. Afterwards, the Saiyan took her seat. "Feel free to make yourself at home.", the Saiyan said to Rumia in a calm tone of voice. The Knight seemed to have a lot on her mind and shoulders.
As if she really was trying to hold up the burden of an entire planet all by herself. "So, what has brought you here? I would say that I hope it's good news, but... As I understand it, Kais don't often come to the mortal realm if it's good news.", the Saiyan admitted to having some knowledge. Either due to Soragami, or her own studies. Really, Atsuko wasn't sure how to act, either. She knew that Rumia wasn't like most Kais, but still... Wasn't there a proper way to act with beings like the Gods of Creation?
"I won't trouble you with summaries of what has happened here on Earth and in the mortal realm, either. So... I must admit that leaves me at a loss.", she added. The Albino Saiyan then fell silent, curious as to what it was that brought the Supreme Kai all the way here, to the Timeless Lookout. True, she had been in contact with one before, but that was only through Telepathy. They made the request for her to come and help... But she had no means of doing so. It only served as another reminder of how weak she really was.
Atsuko managed to fight back the urge to sigh again.
WC: 1,015 Total WC: 2,019 ______________________ Atsuko led Rumia off to a room where they can converse in private. Excalibur stays behind with Lucy and Cicero.
"Mhm..." Lucy would nod lightly as Rumia confirmed her name, at least this lady wasn't big and scary like some of the other's... she was nice and spoke to her rather gently... however, there was still something inside of her that had her worried, a feeling she didn't wuite understand. She was still kind of scared of Rumia regardless of how nice she truly was. When she had approached, Lucy had taken a step back for every step she took closer to her. She was safer farther away from her right?
She would glance up to Atsuko with hesitation before her mama also told her to stay behind with Excalibur. She pouted and her eyes grew slightly wide at that statement.
"Mama I don't want to be alone..." She would say, reaching out to take hold of her mother's dress again only to find Excalibur there instead. She didn't mind excalibur, but she still looked at her mother longingly as she left with the pink lady.
"I don't like her miss Excalibur..." She said lowly, now clinging onto Excalibur instead of Atsuko, worry written all over her face. There was a very simple reason she didn't like Rumia... she felt like the Kai would try to hurt her the second she found out what she was, and she'd be forced to leave both her mama and her master... WC: 228 TWC: 372
"I suppose a child Nakiya made would have every reason to dislike me, eh? It's a shame, She seems like such a nice child"
Rumia would sigh as they entered the palace, Rumia took a seat not far off the kami herself. Making herself comfortable indeed as she lay flat on her belly in the couch. She would sigh herself as Atsuko wanted to get right to the heart of the matter. Well that was ok, she supposed she should take this whole thing seriously after all.
"Well if you want the blunt version... it is my wish to train you, so you can better protect this world, and the balance of the universe. If you were not already tied to Earth I would ask a higher task of you, however as is I must settle with this. You are not st your limit, as much as that may seem the case. Their is a higher energy you can reach, I wish to help you along towards that goal. For the balance of the universe as a whole. Heh... selfish as that may sound"
Rumia would the jump to her feet and begin removing her left Potara earring from her ear.
"We have only just met, but through Sora I believe we can understand each other well, do you agree? Aside from the balance of the universe, I wish to help you to Atsuko"
After those words she want toss the earring to Atsuko, a rather bright smile on her face.
"If you do accept my training, fasten that earring to your left ear. It may not seem like much but it will greatly assist you in the our training. Oh take it a bit slow though, that earring kinda continues my energy as a kai as well so it might take a bit of getting used to"
Rumia would give a wink to the kami, being her usual playful self.
"Besides, cute girl your age? Should learn to take care of herself, all that clunky armor~ Ever thought about going lighter?"
(Offering to train Atsuko, as well as offering her the Potara Earring for 25% boost to her gains!)

He seemed to pause briefly at not getting his reward of seeing the likely soft and sweet scented undergarments of the blade with a lovely body. But before he became agitated he just seemed to pause. Almost immediately shot to his hand going to the chin of his mask. As if lost in thought unsure what to properly answer at first. The riddle itself was more then enough to snake his attention. For a long time when his memories had first unraveled his love for games had been some of the few parts that had remained. But when things tried to reawaken it jumbled up his thoughts like a web of messes. In fact it was entirely possible there were some actual cobwebs within his skull as well.
His masked eyes seemed to move looking around lightly curious and unsure as if lost in some strange silence. Looking at her casually as well. His eyes more fixated on her chest though rather then her eyes. Remaining like this even as he began to speak later. "Ever, drinking... Never thirsty, Mail never clinking or alive without breath..." Pausing briefly again as if dumbfounded.
A light breeze carrying by and running along his small body as if a spark jolted in his mind. A magical exclamation point appearing above his head from excitement. An with a snap of his fingers several small falling fish would appear and land next to him somehow balancing on their back fins with top hats and canes somehow supported in their side fins as if they were arms performing a dance similar to a tap dance in style at both his sides. More like a smack or slop dance though given they slapped at the ground with their finds in their hops. Only the canes actually making any sort of a tap before they all poofed away out of existence shortly there after. "A fish! A fish I believe, Armor like mail never clinking, Ever drinking but not ever thirsty and alive without true air and breath! Clever but perhaps not as clever as one might think." He'd take a few seconds to ensure he was right. His eyes drifting and gazing about curious around them before snapping back eventually with. "I suppose something more to directive, Answer of a kind to see if your types really 'deserve' to be here as you make yourselves so at home now anyway. Curious to see if those that do actually deserve this home..." Tapping his foot lightly speaking his mind but not fully explaining before holding his finger up as if to make a point and stating thusly. "If you break me, I do not stop working, If you touch me, I may be snared, If you lose me, Nothing will matter." It was one of his favorites he'd hoped it could be his victory as well. He was curious to take this chance soon to slip away back in secret to his hiding holes. His ghost form could easily evade detection and he knew secrets about this place that had long since been forgotten to the ages. Clever little paths that came in great aid in the first days. But first he wanted to speak to her. IF he won he'd aim for a prize but also explain the importance of this answer. Perhaps if she failed even explaining the importance to learn from what question he posed.
Excalibur smiled softly as Lucy expressed her concerns about being alone, as well as apparently not caring for the Supreme Kai very much. "Don't worry, she's a nice person. Besides, if anything happens I'll keep you safe! I have the exact same power as your mother, you know?", the woman in red offered assurance to the girl. Still, the Sacred Sword did have to admit that she hoped such a conflict wouldn't arise. The little girl was hardly worth all of that trouble... She deserved a chance at life as much as anyone else did. The fact remained that she was not evil right now.
So long as that remained a truth, neither she or Atsuko would allow her to be harmed... With that out of the way, it seems that her riddle had stumped Cicero, however. It prompted a grin out of her as she waited patiently. But much to her surprise, he was able to determine the correct answer! "Oho! Very impressive... I see I've found an equal. Perhaps I should continue this game without my Wielder. She's admittedly not had as much time for brain teasers like this.", Excalibur would admit in a calm tone of voice.
The tiny being then offered up another riddle of his own. The woman in red grew thoughtful about what the answer could have been. What could be broken but not stop working? What could be touched and thus result in it being snared? If it were lost, then nothing would matter... "Hmm...", she pondered it over. There weren't many things that could be broken but still work. It depended on what the definition of 'work' would be. But... Aha! This was another one of those play on words, he seemed quite fond of those. Excalibur then smiled as she seemed to have come to her answer.
"The heart! Yours or mine, pending your preference.", the Sacred Sword stated without hesitation. There weren't many things that fulfilled all of those traits. But a Heart could be 'broken', yet still work. It could be touched and that would result in feeling as if snared. And of course if it was lost, then nothing would matter. That was pretty clever... "It seems our game continues. However, you seem to be in a rush to be off somewhere? Perhaps we should postpone it and pick it up later.", the woman in red would theorize.
"That being said... It's very true. Losing heart can lead to many disastrous things. Some may not care about those consequences, but for those like us, standing in the defense of an entire world... It's the thing that we can never let happen.", it wasn't just a clever riddle, but surprisingly true in many ways... If not for the fact that he had the opportunity to get up to... Questionable things on the Lookout, she'd consider him an intellectual equal. Truthfully she still did. Even if he wasn't all 'quite there'. It was a feeling she could relate to, if nothing else.
As for Atsuko... "Ah, you could tell?", the Knight asked of Rumia. The Supreme Kai so easily guessed... No, knew that Lucy was created by Nakiya. "Indeed... I've been trying to do what I can to raise her, while also dealing with my duties and my training... It hasn't been the easiest thing.", the Knight admitted. Whatever the case, the Supreme Kai made herself comfortable and then proceeded to explain why she had come here, it proved to catch the Saiyan off guard. Safe to say that she wasn't expecting all of that to happen at any point.
"You... Want to train me?", the Knight asked, a little dumbfounded by the idea. As well as the fact that she hadn't reached her full potential yet? That was especially surprising. After that, Rumia hopped back onto her feet and then removed one of her earrings. While doing so she pointed out that despite not having met properly before, through Soragami they were able to understand each other quite well... That was a good point, the Oni had done a lot to help the Knight, and in turn explained a lot about the Supreme Kai in turn; speaking of which, Rumia just tossed the earring her way!
The Albino Saiyan caught it. The little Pink Kai then began to explain what it was for. So it was a sign of accepting training... And contained her powers as well? Was this sort of thing really okay to just give to someone? Still, the Saiyan wasn't one to argue, she knew well what the Kais could do from stories alone... To her, it was an obvious choice. The Albino Saiyan began to follow the instructions and place the earring to her left ear. Just about when she finished that... Rumia seemed to become flirtatious.
It prompted a slight blush out of the normally stoic Atsuko. "Well... I actually have. But the problem is, I've done so much training that I've become used to all of the strain. I have to push myself that much more just to get a mere fraction of the usual results. That includes with weighted equipment just like this.", the Albino Saiyan explained. Still, that could change now, right? Rumia would undoubtedly have a few tricks in order to make her training more effective, even if it was just slightly... It was going to help! That was undeniable.
"So I guess now I'm your student! ...Ah, you mentioned that you had a higher task in mind for me? I must admit I'm a little curious.", the Knight added. "On top of that... What happens now? This is the first time I've had a mentor since... Well, back at the Monastery really.", the Albino Saiyan pointed out. So was that all the Supreme Kai came here for? Atsuko had to admit it would be a little surprising if that was the case. They didn't really make casual trips to the Living Realm, did they? ...Not that she could really complain.
Soragami was shaping up to be a great friend, she expected the same out of Rumia.

"Okay... if you're sure..." Lucy would mumble from behind Excalibur, glancing between her and Cicero with a completely confused look on her face. She didn't understand half of what they were saying and it was really quite frustrating. She would simply pout at their games before moving away from them, leaving them to their 'fun' and wandering off to the edge of the lookout.
She'd lie down at the edge of the lookout and look downwards towards the ground so far below. Not that she could see it, but it was fun to imagine what was beyond those clouds and blue skies.

-Exitting unless Rumi comes back to smite me, zeni please-
"Of course Atsuko, for as natural as her aura would feel to most, a God of creation can tell the difference between the purely natural, and the created"
The smaller kai would state matter of factly, both hands on her hip. While she could not see into the realm of demons to know what went on in there, She was more than capable of feeling unnatural energies. Of course it wasn't unnatural in the sense of evil, simply not a naturally occurring life force, it was created and therefore their were slight differences in how each felt. Not usually noticeable unless one dabbled heavily in the workings of life though of course. She had to admit Nakiya was good at this sort of thing, much as she hated to admit it. But tampering and playing around with life good only lead to disaster, it would likely backfire on her in the end, if not... it might eventually need to be regulated, she would have to improve herself for that.
"Ah, that is very kind of you Atsuko! I must admit.... I felt no malice from Lucy herself. However given her origins I hope you can understand that I had to take precaution. I worry not of what she herself could do, but I am unsure of the level of hold or connection she has through the child, I cannot have the demon queen knowing all my movements, both because of her and Jarvis. She seems well behaved though your doing a good job I think, maybe not let her fall into your time capsule or anything, she'll be all grown up before you blink!"
Rumia would giggle at the kami's surprise. She had reason to be surprised she supposed, it was very rare that Kai's took on students, speciully in the living realm! Still a mix of recent events, as well as similarities brought to her attention by Soragami prompted her to do so. She had every intention of helping Atsuko reach her next level, of helping her with other things as well.
"Yes, I wish to train you, unless you'd prefer someone taller?"
Rumia would point at Atsuko, a teasing smile on her face as she answered her question. She was happy the kami accepted her earring as well as her offer in the end, as well as again giggle at her reaction to her words. She was such a serious young woman! Did she need to explain what playful flirting or joking was? ....Nah, no time for that. Besides she made the knight blush-That was enough If an accomplishment for now! Still she coudn't help but play around with the kami a bit more.
"Well... now I'm here so we can fix that little holdback~ no student of mine shall be known purely for clunky armor! Nothing wrong with it of course, but ones fashion must be variable! So... how about this little number?"
With a snap of her fingers an energy would briefly cover Atsuko's attire, shifting and moving pieces around until it resembled Rumia's own outfit, but more accustomed to the kami's size and height.
"There, how about this? I adjusted the weighting of the clothing itself so it can still put strain on during training, while adding a great flare to your wardrobe!"
The Kai would then nod. Atsuko would excel as a student, of that she sure. She was already an impressive warrior. What she had in mind would only improve that fact. In addition to the flare to her wardrobe, she intended to add flare to skillset as well. As for her question...
"Ah right that, recently the surpreme kai's have decided it prudent to have guardian's to assist us in keeping balance in the universe, as well as helping prevent our death and letting the universe fall out if wack. Of course, we train them as well. I would offer this position to you, if not for your obligation already to earth, I would not ask you to abandon such a thing. Hehe... to be honest figure you may have liked it, given the planet Jarvis and your rather unruly brother lead fall under my jurisdiction"
Again Rumia would chuckle a bit, She was serious of course but the words themselves were more meant to real in and tease the young saiyan before she answered further.
"As for what happens next... I'll leave that to you. We can begin your training now, I belive you have appropriate chambers on the lookout we could use for it, granted your willing to leave Excalibur and the other guy to their devices. Hmmmm perhaps it is hard to believe, were you expecting a grander explanation? Aren't there enough already present in he universe dear Atsuko?"
The girl would giggle, and await the Kami's response.
Taking a moment after she answered correctly he couldn't help but fill a little anxious if not upset she actually got it right. Pleased for the right reasons but still wishing he'd have stumped her. Drawing in a breath and looking around several times and snapping his fingers drawing back in his magical energy. Giving Lucy herself as well a brief look over. "For now short meetings and short appearances are best. New lives, New times, Existence and creation must be observed. Do not judge or prepare until all knowledge is gathered. Until then...." He'd say raising his hand as if about to make a point.
He'd suddenly break from the serious nature running to the door but then shifting and running straight towards one of the flat walls at the side of the lookout. Magically creating briefly behind him a strange orb that looked like a smiling face that exploded after a giggle. An steam shooting out like a misty smoke to reveal he'd snuck away through one of his little hidden paths long since forgotten. Sneaking back to one of his hiding spots till a later time. Finding a safe place again to stash his body before returning to his ghostly form to continue his observations... He had lots to learn up her. Also ... He thought it was going to be Camiba's shower time again soon.
That was a good point... If anyone would be able to tell that sort of thing, she'd expect the Kais to be able to. They were referred to as Gods of Creation after all. So anything not created by them must have been very unnatural indeed... Still, much of Atsuko's fears were put to rest as Rumia pointed out that she did not sense any malice within Lucy. "I don't blame you for the precaution, I think it's a good point. I've noticed there's some times where Lucy just gets... A different sort of look in her eye. It's not very often."
The Knight admitted. "But it's almost unmistakable when it does happen. To put it simply, I recognize the stare she gives off in those moments. I have no real proof to go off of, but that's what caution is for, right?", she asked rhetorically. True, there was a very real possibility that Nakiya could look through Lucy's eyes, and therefore collect quite the treasure trove of information... Especially if Lucy didn't necessarily have to be willing for that. But there was of course no proof. Still, Rumia had her reasons to be careful, and the Albino Saiyan wasn't about to argue.
The Supreme Kai then proceeded to tease a little about the matter of height. "I'm still sorry about that... Even if you defied the expectations, it wasn't fair of me to comment on it like that.", the Saiyan would respond. She knew at least well enough that Rumia wasn't the type to hold a grudge, but still. The Knight was rude and there wasn't much of an excuse for that. In any case, their conversation then changed to Atsuko's 'fashion sense'. Namely in that she always wore armor... Well it made sense to her, really. Especially for it to be clunky.
The ALbino Saiyan wasn't able to give herself much of a challenge otherwise, but it was true enough that Rumia knew quite a bit morein that regard than she did. Learning from a Supreme Kai would no doubt speed up her training, even if only just a bit. With the accommodations here on the Timeless Lookout, it should go even faster than usual. She doubted that she could match any of her previous feats... Especially that curious ability Saiyans have when near death. But she didn't exactly want to try and cheat death a third time in a row.
Especially since she didn't know if it would do anything for her now or not. But her train of thought was interrupted as the Supreme Kai had rather suddenly shifted the outfit that the Knight was wearing. It was one to match what her Mentor was wearing, just... Sized appropriately to her, of course. The Albino Saiyan blinked... Then she began to actually react to it. "Whoa! How did you do that?!", the Knight expressed her surprise. That... Definitely surpassed the expectations she had set. Atsuko wasn't going to mention it, but Rumia wasn't exactly the most powerful individual...
But it became clear that Kais didn't need pure power in order to be excellent at their job. "Is there any reason I'm in such a revealing outfit? It doesn't look like it would protect much in battle, either...", the Saiyan commented. This was indeed pretty different from what she usually wore. The Knight preferred either robes, armor, or the combination of the two. This was certainly an ornate set of clothing, but it was more like a dress. Atsuko didn't exactly wear those until... Well, just now. It was something that took her rather off guard as a result.
Rumia on the other hand, didn't miss a beat and began to explain the higher purpose she spoke of. So the Supreme Kais took up Guardians now? And she was being considered for the job... Although she still had her obligations to Earth. Atsuko took a few moments to compose herself due to the new outfit, and then gives a small nod in response. "To tell you the truth... I don't think I'm very welcomed here on Earth anymore. I intend to finish my duties, and if I should die... Well, maybe I'll take you up on that offer after all."
It seemed like the most unlikely thing, the Albino Saiyan had an unusual ability to defy death even in the most extreme scenarios. And with her power that was only going to become that much more difficult. "I still wouldn't mind helping you when you need it... My focus is primarily on Earth, but I can't just ignore everything beyond it either.", the Knight admitted. So finally the topic of conversation turned towards what happened now... True enough, they could begin their training. It would mean letting Excalibur handle the guests as well as take care of Lucy, however.
"Well, let's see...", she commented, then opening a telepathic connection with Excalibur to confirm something. "...Well, apparently he's already gone on his way, so she'll take care of Lucy while we train. I guess that means we're free to begin.", the Saiyan would then stand up calmly from her chair... The new outfit was still taking a bit of getting used to, to say the least. The Knight preferred the sound of metal ringing with her movement. It was noisy, yes. But she had been with it for so long that it became something of a comforting noise.
"It probably goes without saying, but we won't be able to make use of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber... We can however use the Pendulum Room, which you should be able to adjust to your liking for whatever training you have in mind for me.", the Saiyan was a little eager to get back into it. Not just more training, but more efficient training too! The Saiyan didn't doubt for a second that Rumia would know exactly how to bring out even more of her power! With any luck, the training wouldn't be as exhausting as what she had come up with herself.
