Nekomajins.
Going off of the name alone, it gave the impression that they had something in common with her Majin servant, Sayako. Perhaps even be some kind of subspecies. That wouldn't have been much of a surprise to creatures like them. But after going through the girl's family photos, and confirmation there was no relation they seemed to know about, she knew it was just some strange coincidence. Though this was interesting in itself. While there didn't seem to be a connection, the coincidence was just something which further interested her in picking the group, as her second one to study. Possibly even as easy to find as the Majin.
There was enough reasoning there to think so, and much like she had when she had gone to track down her first servant, she made an excuse to take a day off from school. However, the information she needed to track down this group, came from the Majin herself, rather than her human friend. Made enough sense to ask the one who would be watching her mansion, and knew a lot more about the more non-human races on earth, than she did. Once again, she had been right. According to the girl, which aligned with reports she had read, these creatures could be found in areas where food and fighting was able to be found.
That could have been just about any place in a busy area, but that was far from being a bad thing. She was allowed her pick on where to go, and it wouldn't require having to leave the city again. The effort put into searching for the right one however would remain the same as the first, and likely would for the last. With that in mind, she and left her mansion, passing by the pink-fleshed girl, who seemed to be heading towards the training room. Out of all of them in this place, this and the kitchen had seen the most use. She supposed it was because they were both easy to access, and had the right amount of privacy around.
Nothing of which she felt like opposing against, since she did want any servant of hers to be strong. Just not enough to overpower her, which would be tested whenever she had the opportunity to do so. Leaving the mansion, the building had been placed on property which was vacant, much like where her coven's hideout was. The difference between both locations however, is that it wasn't at the foot of the forest, and was just waiting for construction than anything else. Just a temporary spot, until she was able to secure land that was of her own. Which, being only in her second year of high school, would take another year.
Making it to the more livelier parts of the city, wasn't an issue, as she took flight into the air, shapeshifting her form into that of a bat. One good thing about not having to travel, is that she hadn't already exerted the use of her muscles traveling. Going through the city, she only felt the comfort of what breeze brushed past her body, and only the kind of exhaustion one would feel after speed walking. It was mild enough to not be much of a bother, and temporary to where she could easily continue, without the worry of having to strain herself. The people below, she had played with as she usually did, but they weren't her usual focus.
Which was funny. Time she had to enjoy herself, was time that she felt would be more better to think. Meeting her first servant, had resulted in a delay, which while did bring fortune to her in the form of a mansion, had been time spent at leisure nonetheless. Not in the way she preferred either. She wasn't planning on running into a particularly long encounter again, nor could really see that happening. Her mission was just to find any cat from this group, where unlike the Majins, they didn't seem to be one who started families. What she heard of their personalities only continued to support this belief of hers.
Keeping in mind that these creatures were also cats, animals who were notorious for being lazy and easily distracted by the simplest things, having them listen wouldn't be an easy task, even knowing where to find them. This approach would likely also be more of a public one, than what she had faced with Sayako, since these were places of eating and training. She had nothing to fear of course, but it would be troublesome to deal with people who knew she had the wrong idea. A thought that made her glide with these wings of hers, than really put in the work of flying. Her eyes did scan over those she passed below her.
But like when she had first gone and searched for her Majin servant, there was no luck in finding one immediately. All she really saw were humans, and a couple of at least seemingly human people. None of them looked like they were Saiyan though, so it wasn't like she could just change who she was hunting down either. What she did happen to notice though, was that certain places were more busier than others, which made her wonder just how much that would affect the chances of encountering one. These more busier places were troublesome, but she couldn't really rule at least going to search one out.
So landing on the ground where no one would see her, she had shifted back into her regular form, walking into the first busy place she had seen.
It was like how she had thought it would be.
The place was full of people walking about, either leaving or just entering inside. From what she could tell, it was a restaurant of sorts, but whether or not it was kid friendly, was questionable. Might better be a place that rehired supervision, if you weren't in high school. No one was really looking at her funny though, which was all she could really ask for. In an active place like this, where noise surrounded her everywhere, one disruption was likely to gather the attention of many. It was attention she didn't need, even if she could form herself into mist, and avoid any unnecessary confrontations. Still wasn't anything to worry.
Walking around under the guise that she would be eating, which wouldn't actually be that bad of an idea, she was led around by one of the employees, allowing her time to scan the places. The sights she saw didn't change from what she had already seen outside. Humans were around and entertaining themselves in moments that were deserving to be private. Although unlike when she had been searching for her servant lying in wait back at the mansion, it didn't fill her with warmth and pleasantness. This was more like being somewhere she didn't know, and trying to find someone of interest she wanted to talk to.
Eventually, she was led to a table of her own, and told her waitress would be back. It was unexpected, not finding any success in here, but with her being alone rather than in the company of another, it was different. She had control of how long she wanted to stay here, rather than just putting time here in a place she could care less for. Though as she went to look at the menu here, she couldn't help but think back to how she was here alone, in a place where there seemed to be mostly groups. Whether consisted of either family or friends. A rather appalling thought, which caused her to frown, as she looked around.
Sure she had came here alone, but it didn't mean much of anything. Shouldn't have to either. But she knew there would be at least one person here, who might look at her the wrong way. One which would cost them their life, if she so wanted. The waitress had came back, cutting off her search, where even in a spot like this, she couldn't see any of interest. The place's lights might have been dim, but her eyes were sharp, and fur that wasn't flesh colored, wouldn't take long at all to spot. An order was placed for some soba, before her attention had gone and turned down to her phone while she had gone and waited.
Maybe one of the creatures she was looking for would show up, or maybe not. She only knew for sure that with this kind of attention this place was receiving, someone as curious as a cat, had to certainly be interested in eating here. This belief couldn't have been wrong. Only factors she hadn't been able to consider for one reason or another. Her meal had came by with still no success, even while listening in on the conversations going around her. Was this just what happened when approaching work, despite there being an opportunity to enjoy herself? She ate at her food, which had a bit too much soy sauce mixed in.
Not unbearable enough for her not to finish it, but was still something she found to be displeasing. The drink she had gotten was coffee, which although had its downsides, was certainly better than something like soda. It took away what she was eating ruined, but as she was sipping on it, her eyes had lit up. Matted blue fur and a tail wagging, had gone and passed by her, seemingly on its way out. The interesting thing was, it was wearing normal clothes, and walking alongside a family. Particularly besides a little girl. Just what exactly was going on here? Whatever it was, she paid for the meal and followed out in the form of mist.
She hated having to waste food, but it had to be done. The coffee at least, was easy to finish, compared to most beverages. Heads turned as the mass of this form overtook the room, but she had left along with this family before they could get too far from her, bringing along this form outside. It was only then, that the family seemed to notice it wasn't the establishment, who was the cause of the mist. She moved about as one would, watching from within this form, as the cat she was searching for, had gone and swatted at the air. With its attention gained, she had slowly, but noticeably leaked her power, to fully get it.
The cat dashing off was unexpected.
