Spark
Name: Spark
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Race: Elemi
Homeworld: Hera
Starting Planet: Earth
Appearance:
Spark is 4'3" and weighs 122lb.
Backstory:
In the emptiness of space, a lone space pod traveled at incredible speeds across the star filled darkness. Where it came from, and what laid within it was a mystery, but not its destination. It was on a direct course to that savage planet known as Hera.
The pod soon made it to said planet, entering its atmosphere as fire engulfed it. The space pod flew through the night sky of the planet with amazing speeds, giving off a shooting star like appearance to those on the ground. In a forest like area of the planet, a middle aged Heran woman by the name of Gekikio sat on a log as she cooked some fish over a fire she created, her face with one eye covered by an eye patch illuminated by the flames. Before she could eat, the alien noticed the pod which just looked like some meteor to her hurdling right over her, causing the trees to rock in the wind it made as well as blowing out the fire much to the buff woman's annoyance. While gritting her teeth, Gekikio got off of the log with her fists clenched as the pod finally crashed somewhere further down the forest with a loud booming sound, smoke now filling the air. The agitated Heran took to the skies, and flew to the location of the crash as she wanted to take her anger out on the so called meteor that ruined her dinner. Upon reaching the location, the Heran would notice that it wasn't a meteor, but one of those space pods that were used for easy travel. Still she was annoyed. She held a hand out, aiming at the pod as she charged an orb of ki in her palm, but it would slowly vanish as she decided to take her anger out by instead wailing on whoever was inside.
Gekikio lowered to the ground in front of the crater that housed that pod. She slid down it, and to the pod before stopping. With a smirk on her face, the Heran ripped the door of the space pod open, and before she could do anything, her wicked expression turned to a more surprised one as she saw a naked baby crying within it. It appeared to be a male human to her with white messy hair, and dark blue eyes filled with tears. She clenched her fist once more, teeth gritting as she planned to exterminate the baby still, but....she just couldn't get herself to do it! It was a rare sight for a Heran especially Gekikio to feel...sympathy for something that her, and her race usually finds pathetic. Instead, she turned around, and was going to let the elements, or wild creature that roamed about to finish this little guy off, but that crying which was a headache also caused her to stop in her tracks. Gekikio shut her eyes, exhaling through her nose before opening them, and looking up to the sky with an annoyed growl. She'd then turn around, and pick up the baby, holding him in her arms, she looked down at him menacingly as he cried, but once the baby looked up to her, he'd slowly stop, calming down. The Heran smirked before flying out of the crater. She wasn't sure why, and was probably going to regret this at some point, but she decided she would look out for this infant whose origins were unknown to her.
Six years would soon pass with Gekikio still in care of the boy who was now six. She never truly gave the boy a name, but instead called him by Runt since that's what he pretty much was. Around this time, Gekikio would start training the kid, putting him through a lot of harsh, and quite violent trials one should never put a child through, training she once went through to make her who she was today, with even some of her of Heran buddies "helping" out. She wouldn't have cared too much if this killed him as she didn't have time for weaklings, but she wanted to experiment a little with this child that she took under her wing, see how powerful she could make this seemingly human. After two years with much blood, sweat, and tears, the little runt became a decent fighter, being able to put up with the crap Gekikio, and some of the other Herans put him through. Finally the woman, and the other orange haired aliens saw him as an honorary "Heran" Gekikio, and the boy bonded more ever since then, picking up some tricks from his adopted mother, one of them involving trying swoon, and pick up women as Gekikio never preferred the male gender. Though, the little boy was still at that age where he didn't care much for women, or relationships, so he only really flirted, and such to imitate his "mother." They shared many laughs, but soon it would be back to business for Gekikio which gave the woman an idea.
She would decide to teach the boy to be a Mercenary such as herself, and many of the other Herans.
A year has passed, and the boy who was now nine began to go with his "mother" around different planets as she took up various jobs. Some were good....some weren't which didn't matter to the Heran so long as it paid well. The boy has witnessed many things along his travels with Gekikio, most of them being quite gruesome. He would question his "mother's" actions, but she would always remind him that it didn't matter, so long as it kept the cash rolling in. Still at a young age, the boy quickly abandoned his questioning, and once again just followed the woman's lead, going as far as to assisting her now, picking up on some things. Soon, Gekikio would let the runt take the lead on a job they taken up. On a certain planet led by a king, and queen, the princess, daughter of those two wanted her parents dead so she could take the throne. The runt, and Gekikio managed to take the job, and things were going smoothly. They took out the guards with ease, but when it came to the final two guards, the Heran, and boy were greatly outmatched! They both took a heavy beating, but Gekikio wasn't going to fail this job. She managed to get to her feet, and attempted to take down the two main guards, but failed yet again as the boy watched all bruised up, and still on the ground. He would then witness something that would put him over the edge. One of the guards took out a sword, rose it up in the air, and slammed it down with extreme speed slicing off one of the Heran's arms followed by a loud ear piercing screech from the woman.
After witnessing this, the runt was fueled with blind rage.....and lighting?
The white electricity engulfed the boy much to the guards, and Heran's surprise. She had heard rumors of a race of beings that could harness elements, but only thought of them as rumors, but it appeared to be far from that. The boy who was not human, but an Elemi rose to his feet with lightning surrounding him, and approached the guards, taking them out with his brief burst of power. After that was done, the boy looked to his shocked "mother" on the ground, and was able to remember about their job through his rage. Before his power could burn out, the child made his way to the thrones, and electrocuted the two targets to death, leaving behind burning corpses. After that, the burst of power went out, and with the bit of energy he had left, the boy managed to get his mother out of there, and collect their payment. It was certainly an interesting moment for both the Heran, and her "son."
Four more years have passed. Gekikio was now sporting a metallic arm to replace the one that was cut off, and the runt who his "mother" finally named, Spark due to his abilities had gotten a better grip of this power, going along many more jobs, gaining much more experience in it during these four years. Spark, now age thirteen decided it was time for himself to go solo like his mother did prior to ever meeting him. He wanted to become as impressive as her, to become the perfect successor for her. With that, Spark hopped into a space pod provided to him by his "mother" along with some Zeni to get him started, and with one final wave off to his "mother" and some of the other Herans, the Elemi, or honorary Heran took off into the stars, his destination not quite put in yet.
But wherever he was going to end up, he was going to make sure to have one hell of time!!

Space.....
Pitch black, and filled with nothing, but illuminating "dots" known as stars. All seemed calm, and quiet out there in the unknown. That is until something came rocketing pass in great speed! At a first glance most would think it to be a comet shooting on through like they normally do, but upon closer inspection it is revealed to not be a comet, but a space pod instead!
Inside of the pod sat a figure that appeared small in size with his arms crossed, and head down as if they are asleep. Whoever, or whatever this creature was appeared to be on a course to a particular planet. Shortly after, the pod would begin to flash some patterns followed by a beeping like sound which caused the figure to raise their head. The area was no longer filled with just stars, but now a blue, and green planet that only appeared to "grow" bigger as the pod continued to advance to it. There it was, the pod's destination...
Earth.
Once the space pod entered the planet's atmosphere, the small orb was seemingly engulfed by flames. Down in some city located in the East, citizens were out, and about, doing their usual things on this nice afternoon. Shortly after, a small flash of light blinked in the blue sky followed by the sudden appearance of the fiery space pod hurtling down to the Earth! Without much warning, pod crashed into the middle of a street in that city leading to a giant crater, causing an incoming hover car to immediately stop right in front of said crater, causing other hover vehicles that were behind it to crash into one another while people began to scream, running around in the process. Curious people walked up to the crater, looking down at the smoky mess. They begun talking among themselves, trying to figure out what the hell was going on. The door to the pod slowly opened downwards which caused some people to back away some. Slowly, two hands crept out, one after the other as they gripped on the side of the pod's entrance, followed by a skinny light colored leg coming out with a purple shoe equipped. Finally, the figure fully emerged from the pod with his head down, its white, and spiky hair drooping downwards. His lips remained plain before they moved up some in a smirk followed by them parting to make way for a grin. Quickly, the small figure who appeared to be a little boy just getting into his teens raised his head up along with his arms to the sky before shouting, freaking out the people some more. "AHHHHH, It is soooo good to be out of that cramped piece of-" Before he could finish, the teen turned around to look at the space pod with smoke coming out of it, and not at all in the best of conditions. Now with a sheepish grin on his face, the boy would run to the pod, and inspect it. "Ah, come on! I just got this too...." he said as he continued his inspection. It appeared that the pod of his took a pretty bad beating upon its collision. He'd finally stop before shrugging, placing both of his hands on both sides of the pod shortly after. "Eh, whatever." The boy proceeded to float out of the crater, holding the pod over his head while just now noticing the people surrounding the crater, looking up to the boy in shock. The white haired boy looked down at them with a puzzled expression on his face. After blinking a few times in mid air, the boy would finally open his mouth.
"Er, Yo, people of planet...E-yarth was it? Yeah that's about right. I know what you all may be wondering. Who is the cool dude floating before your very eyes right now? Who is this badass who has decided to grace you all with his presence!?" he'd snicker before finishing with a confident expression on his young face. "The name's Spark soon to be greatest Merc in the universe, and it's best you all not forget it!" the boy yelled, throwing his space pod into the air by mistake which caused him to look up while making a "whoops" like expression. As it came crashing back down, Spark immediately caught it, almost dropping it a few times in the process. A sigh of relief escaped the boy's mouth before looking down at the confused citizens once again. "....Seeya, losers." he shouted once more before suddenly flying off with his body engulfed in an electrical aura with pod in hands, a crackling noise filling the air.
Earth now has yet another pain in the ass to deal with....
