Birth Name: Alison Wei.OOC Name: Grace.
Alias: 「 TANIS 」.
Gender: Female.
Age: 17 Years-Old.
Date of Birth: October 31ˢᵗ.
Homeworld: Zilyana.
Species: Demon.
▰ The hybridization of Saiyan and Demon has spawned Alison Wei’s Mother. The hybrid, having found herself inheriting her mother’s Saiyan genetics; a tall, burly stature with black hair, a milk-chocolate skin that matches well with her fuzzy-brown tail. All of the above traits — save the tail — passed down onto Alison Wei herself; the warrior drive for self-improvement, too, seemed to have been inherited from her mother.
Meanwhile, her father, a beautiful demon, passed down his supple skin, yellow eyes, silky, hair, and countless other superficial, supplementary adjectives to her form. The battle tendency of Saiyans was not lost to Alison Wei her in terms of psycho-emotional profiling even before becoming TANIS, was always a sort of tomboy — despite her father’s incessant insistence on the importance of physical presentation.
Sexuality: Bi-curious.
Martial Status: Single.
Sex Life: Tanis has, until now, had little time for herself — much less anyone else.
Profession: Bounty Hunter / Mercenary / Almost Anything.
▰ Originally a Mercenary by necessity, Tanis quickly found herself changing careers once the original purpose of her career was fulfilled. Pulling away from her ‘Organization’ Tanis found herself becoming more of a wanderer, who still picked up contracts — odd jobs that just-so-happened to often revolve around capturing or beating someone to a pulp. After all, she knew where her talents lied — any other profession would likely be a waste of the skills she has honed over the course of her life.

▰ Gear & Detail:
[Vague Gear Outline; Details Below]
⟐Tanis carries on in a 6'05" stature; her hourglass-shaped body is kept in top physical shape. It shows well.
⟐Any of her raven hair above her ear is tightly bound back into a ponytail which spills down about four inches; the rest of her hair is free to spill over her shoulders and down to her middle-upper back.
⟐Behind her wraparound dark-tinted glasses hides a pair of vibrant yellow eyes.
⟐Tanis more often than not keeps a pair of fingerless gloves on her person — sometimes equipped, sometimes tucked under her belt.
⟐Her Long Odachi is strapped diagonally against her back, leaning just over her left shoulder. Its black hilt wrapped in a yellow ribbon. This Long Odachi is used for slow, powerful, long-arching strikes.
⟐Han Jian is kept tightly secured at her waist’s left side. Han Jin has a plain sleek, black-metal blade with hexagonal shapes detailed along the blade’s fuller. The hilt is a mixture of red and black cloth tightly bound around each other; a black and red ribbon stretch three feet from the hilt — can be used to grab the blade, or bandage wounds. The sheath is a sleek, black, hard plastic-like substance with the word ‘TANIS’ written down its length in bold yellow letters.
⟐Beneath a sleek black cloth coat — which falls down to her knees — she sports a tight sleeveless body armor to protect her ample chest and core. Midriff and bust can be exposed by sliding the body armor in or out of place — which must be done in order to fully remove the body armor.
⟐Her necklace: A resplendent, orange pendant rests between her cleavage. The crystal is roughly cut, wrapped in a smokey-grey metal and tied to her chest by a smooth, black leather sting.
⟐She sports dark-grey cargo pants, are tucked into her black, rubber combat boots. In the cargo pockets is where she stashes away food and currency. Around her cargo pants is a very ordinary and insignificant — but durable — set of black-cloth belts.

Speech: Tanis occasionally misspeaks; chooses improper words. Such as replacing 'my' with 'mine', etc.

▰ Synopsis:
⟐Tanis is extremely adaptable; she can find herself shifting between her normal whimsical, eccentric nature into her warrior-like mentality at a moment’s notice. In the end of the day, Tanis goes with the flow.
However, it’s worth noting that the girl has a hard time separating professional behavior from personal sentiment. In other words, a contracted target could end up becoming a close friend, causing her to drop the assignment altogether; a close friend — should she feel the sting of betrayal — could just as easily find themselves atop of her shitlist.
Tanis has a keen belief in retribution — her moral compass, in fact, revolves around it. She understands loss is often a necessity — as long as it's not her own — and there is always a margin of acceptable collateral damage. Tanis believes that for progress to be made sacrifices have to be endured. As such, in combat, some might consider her fiercely callous — and, without a doubt, vindictive.

▰ Homeworld: Zilyana
⟐Zilyana — a world as rich in resources as it is inhospitable. The unyielding heat that bears down its parent binary-star system ensures that the planet’s day is hot, and in contrast, the night is freezing — a desert world. Much like Earth, Zilyana spins from the West to the East; unlike Earth, however, the lack of a 23.5° tilt ensures that there is only one climate through the planet’s year-cycle.
Much like the Wild West, Zilyana’s riches became as sort of promised land for all those in search of treasure and riches. A lack of worldwide government, further ensured that the world remained as lawless and free as one could imagine. Naturally, this caused a thriving community for mercenaries, bounty hunters, ‘protection agencies’ — something that became increasingly popular with the capitalists and organized criminals who owned large-scale mining operations. Especially considering that between bandits attacked any soft targets, and the lone-wolf scavengers often preyed on any unsecured mining resources.
For better or worse, Zilyana was a melting pot of species just as much as it is a melting pot of undesirable practices. Saiyans, Humans, Demons, — if you could name a species it was likely there were at least a handful to be found somewhere in Zilyana, working as slaves, laborers, or self-employed ‘entrepreneurs’.
However, Zilyana wasn’t entirely simply desert and mines. Handfuls of settlements, towns, and even the occasional large-scale cities existed. There served as hubs for commerce, as well as loading/unloading docks for any ships that may be arriving, departing, or set to moor. However, every single settlement or city was independent, often run by whatever largest company could buy-out, endorse, or force the local population into submission.
▰ The Making of Alison Wei: Love After Consecutive Encounters
⟐Through the aforementioned union of a Saiyan/Demon Hybrid and a pure-blooded Demon came the birth of Alison Wei — a demon child with only a touch of Saiyan.
Her father, a handsome full-blooded Demon had moved to Zilyana from the Demon Realm. He, a refugee in need of a new home, found himself taking on unsavory jobs within a Red Light District in one of Zilyana’s larger cities. He wasn’t an exceptionally powerful fighter, though his features were exquisitely pure, without losing their rugged charm. It was through this job that he met Pum’ka — a dominantly-saiyan hybrid with recessive demon genes.
Pum’ka, much unlike her husband-to-be, was a fiercely powerful hybrid who often carried out mercenary contracts that were kept parallel with Vegetan interests. After all, Saiyans not only paid handsomely for the jobs they needed help with, albeit also offered the most entertaining — and challenging — deals. It was how she found herself in this hell-scorched world. A band of pirates had settled down and made a base in Zilyana, and seemed to take a knack to attacking Vegeta-bound freighters.
The pirates weren’t all that tough to deal with — they were, however, a pain in the ass to find. So, naturally, Pum did what any half-decent mercenary would do after a stressful mission: eat, drink, and score some company; having accomplished the first two, Pum set off to find herself a man. It wasn’t long after she had entered a local cathouse that her eyes came to latch onto Crowley — the only employee who seemed to dress as though he were preparing to consult with royalty.
Pum’Ka appreciate the effort.
So much so that she became a regular with Crowley, deciding to stay a few more days in Zilyana just to enjoy his company a little longer. Those days stretched into weeks; Pum began to look for Zilyana-bound contracts, temporarily becoming a local mercenary. Those weeks stretched into months, and it was at that point she realized her lust had turned into love. The realization set her into a furious frenzy — some demon having the audacity to steal her heart. However, when her half-thought confrontation was carried out, Crowly found himself opening up and revealing he too shared the same emotions for Pum’ka — albeit his were more sweet and longing than spicy and bitter.
Both retired; both moved to a small settlement; both began to prepare for a life together.
▰ The Making of Tanis: Alison Grows
⟐Life as a child in Zilyana was… Complicated — especially for Alison. Since birth she was lively and full of energy, easily wearing-down both her father and mother on a daily basis — a fate she would come to suffer herself in the future at the hands of her brother, who would come to be born by the time she was 12.
The small ‘village’ that she was born and grown in had no other children, as most well-minded individuals understood that Zilyana was no place for kids. However, Tanis was able to make a friend — a human boy five years her elder. Kebrew, he was called.
Even as a six year old he was considerably weaker than Alison; she would often win by a landslide at any physical games they played. Games that could only be carried out in the late afternoon, as the two stars sunk low on the westward horizon — signaling an end to the numerous classes Kebrew had to take. The human, born to a pair of martial artists, found himself busy for a vast majority of the day with drills, practice, and further honing of the arts taught to him.
Alison, too, had lessons. However, they often involved combat with her mother, or magic with her father. The former brutal, unforgiving bouts of fighting that began as early as Alison could form memories. The latter very easy, snail-pace events that often had more to do with her father speaking about his life in the Demon Realm than truly teaching Alison anything useful. A pity, for Alison was as eager to learn magic as she was awful at it — something her father suspected was inherited from Pum’ka.
Alison finished her obligations much earlier than her friend, so naturally she had some downtime. Most of which was spent out of the home — much to her parents’ delight. She ran around the village, unintentionally causing trouble and exploring until Kebrew was available.
It wasn’t long before the two began to teach one another. Alison wanting to know how to do cool things with the sharp rods Kebrew owned, while Kebrew himself finding interest in Alison’s ability to occasionally summon treats from thin air.
Ironically enough, Kebrew soon took an affinity to magic, coming to vastly surpass Alison; Alison, taking an affinity to swordplay, soon came to reciprocate the favor. By the time Alison was 13 both she and Kebrew had honed their new-found passions to the point of earning earnest admiration from each other’s teachers.
▰ Zilyana’s Red Dawn
⟐The two teenagers weren’t the only things that grew and changed over time. Zilyana, too, found itself slowly coming to take a new shape within the passing years. Coming to learn just how profitable a monopoly over all of Zilyana would be, a group of the most powerful corporations on the planet decided to band together. Under their banner a new faction rose to power: The Lucida Enterprise. Through the combined efforts and resources of its founding fathers, Lucida found itself swiftly mass-manufacturing androids off world. These Lucida Agents were sold as sentinels exclusively to large-scale mining operations. Being more efficient and trustworthy than the average mercenary crew, Agents soon became standard-issue to any and all Ziliana mines.
Little did all the ‘businesses’ and entrepreneurs know that the agents were simply well-armed sleeper cells set to activate in unison at a specific date. When that date came the unprotected mines were instantly claimed by The Lucide Enterprise.
The day the sleeper cells activated was the day Zilyana was plunged into war.
That day came to be known as ‘The Red Dawn’ — the eve of a planet-wide conflict that forever changed the fates of all who lived in Zilyana.
▰ Alison Falls
⟐Now in full control of Zilyana’s excavation & mining operations, Lucida essentially had nearly full control of the planet’s financial capabilities. Soon, the corporations, organized criminals, and small-time entrepreneurs banded together in an attempt to reclaim what had been taken from them; an attempt to fight back against what soon became a hostile takeover of a planet. Lucida’s ultimate goal, after all, was the establishment of a world-wide government that lived and breathed their brand.
The agents, who previously secured mines, found their numbers being doubled as more and more shipments seemed to endlessly pour from off-world suppliers. Lucida’s seemingly endless supply of goods and currency allowed the Enterprise to generate themselves a seemingly endless army. An army that began to trickle out from the mines and cities. Lucida’s goal, after all, was absolute control over the world — to do that they, of course, had to stomp out any and all opposition.
The army of androids swarmed any and all bases, hubs, and settlements that weren’t already accounted for by Lucida. Anything that looked as though it had an iota of a fighting chance was terminated with extreme prejudice.
The fact the android’s ki signatures were hidden, thanks to their cyborg nature; the perfect ambush. Under the veil of night the agents came down, razing the town and every non-key infrastructure and personnel.
That night Alison had slept soundly; a good, full, deep sleep she earned after a long day of training and playing. Her slumber was shattered with a loud crashing sound within her home. Though frozen at first, the girl soon found her limbs moving without her willing them to. Through the door she shot, racing towards the din.
▰ Tanis Rises
⟐By morning’s light shadows had been cast in different directions; shedding light on all the things she had come to overlook in the past, and covering the things she’d come to know well. She was given free reign to wander through the ruins of her hometown; the agents having departed as all viable threats deemed eradicated. At some point during the day a company of mercenaries arrived. Alison came to learn they had caught wind of a possible Lucida attack on this front, but were too late to do something about it.
Alison found herself becoming a part of this new family — a family who went by the name Malificent-7. Fueled by both the need to supply for herself and her younger brother, as well as to need to right the wrong done to her.
With a new life and purpose, she did her hardest to move on; to forget the past — leave as much of it as she could behind, for her own sake.
It was with that intention that Alison became Tanis.
Over the years hundreds of battles were fought. Over the years, Tanis rose to power as the foremost combatant in Malificent-7; heralded by the Makyo Star Tanis came to be at the helm of every major victory against The Lucida Enterprise.
Over the course of the four-year war Tanis came to realize that her role — her future in Zilyana was limited. With Lucida’s downfall Zilyana found itself simply breaking down into what it was before: a cesspool of greedy individuals scrambling for power. She was disappointed to learn that the head seats of her ‘new family’, too, were no different from the corporations and other mercenary units; backstabbing and self-serving.
Instead of scavenging for diamonds in the rough, Tanis decided to take herself and her brother from Zilyana, taking voyage to a far away world — Earth; a place she heard was different from Zilyana in all the right ways. Abundance in every facet. With that Tanis decided to leave behind Malificent-7, saying little to any as she boarded an Earth-bound trading freighter.

Skills:
▰ 「P-4」 Rend
⟐Tanis is able to use her ki to imbue her physical strikes. Being a masterful swordswoman, Tanis is able to channel ki through her blades as well as through her own body; metal reinforced as much as her muscle. With this ki-infused strike Tanis is able to deliver a devastating physical blow; the level of devastation scales with her level, always able to be downplayed. I.E. At a planet-level of destruction the demoness can choose to simply chop down a building, instead of the city behind it as well.
▰ 「FEAT」 Flight
⟐Tanis manipulates her ki energy so that she can levitate or fly. This is a last resort.

▰ Primal Surge
⟐Whatever semblance of contemporary beauty Tanis harbored is stripped away. To harness this power Tanis taps into her feral instincts, disinhibiting her. Morality — and even judgement are pushed a little further away as instinct begins to take the reins. Teeth become more prominent and sharp; nails grow further out; visible vein-like patterns of glowing red begin to etch into her skin.

▰ She Am Makyo
⟐Like all those with Demon blood, Tanis feels a deep connection to The Red Star. Accepting Makyo into her soul brings Tanis great power; her physical and mental state-of-being are further twisted.
Heralding the power of The Makyo Star causes Tanis to gain notable muscle mass; her flesh blackens and cracks, with thick, orange veins coursing through the body — much like lava flowing through a canyon. Visible spikes form throughout her body, most noticeably through around her shoulders and arms. Tanis' sclera become a glowing red, while her irises yellow burn with a neon orange.
