Heizen had been exploring the desert region of Planet Earth for the last day. The landscape of it was rather curious to him, especially the sand of the desert. It was a strange grainy substance unlike anything he had seen in the Demon Realm. It was kind of bothersome to the Demon yet also interesting. It was night time out on the planet, the sky littered with stars and a shining crescent moon. Today was yet another day that the Jackal found himself rather bored once again. He hadn't had a good interaction (be it fighting or otherwise) since he had pulverized that halfling in the mountains and gotten beat up by that other guy (the one who shared a similar face as him). His fights against Suusao and Sinthe had told him that no matter what he had even more rivals with each growing day. The competition in this Universe was just as competitive as the Demon Realm if not more so. There were crazy stupid levels of power emanating on this planet from time to time, and yet there were ever more individuals to climb the ranks and threaten to overtake Heizen's own position on the totem pole (as low as it was). He wouldn't stand for it. He needed to push himself even further.
The jewels on his arm braces used to be at a rather low setting. After getting nearly defeated by Suusao and his "protectors" - Heizen knew he had to step his training up and increased the magical inhibitor settings of the jewels. He had felt the boy's training equipment and it generated even more weight than the Demon himself had been supplying himself. Those damn Saiyan genes of his had made Heizen's life even more difficult. Mixed with the Demon energy and therefore the ability to access the Makyo Star for additional power - Suusao in particular was a dangerous rival. "That stupid boy. I helped him awaken his power, and he is turning out to be my greatest obstacle. Why did I even bother?" Heizen thought to himself bitterly. The black skinned non furred demon stood meditating atop a large rock in the middle of the Diablo Desert, as he awaited company in the midst of the yellow sands. Charging out pulses of dark blue ki- the young Jackal Demon powered up, clearly agitated still by the events of that day. He had spent a whole day and a half with the boy and the results had completely blown up in his face.
The Hybrids surely were ungrateful little beings unworthy of his mercy. The demon scowled to himself. He needed to stop thinking about it. Those who could feel his energy would feel that it was rather neutral and yet dark (as were such beings born from the Demon Realm)... Heizen's anger made his energy swell. Thankfully the jewels served their purpose in regulating his power level and containing it. He didn't want to bring any unwanted attention upon himself. That would be quite some bothersome for the untrained Demon. He had his ass beat enough for the month.
And so he stood meditating atop the mountaintop in an attempt to calm himself down. He needed to focus not on his enemies, but on how he was going to overcome his enemies. Suusao was a dangerous foe - this was true. But he too was dangerous. He had managed to find a way to best him twice thus far. He'd just have to keep at it. He heard of a level Demons could achieve on their own (no Makyo Star needed) if they dedicated themselves to enough training. The Demon recalled a story he had heard long ago...
His ancestors were made in the image of Anubians for their great power and Divine Status. The first of his kind had achieved a form that sort of "mimicked" their ki in an attempt to go stronger. This was their version of the Super Demon Form that some of the upper warriors of the Demon Realm had obtained. "That must be my next goal. I must achieve 'ascendance' if I am to keep up with my enemies," he muttered to himself softly through the calmness of his meditation. If he could do that his power would increase manyfold. Instead of siphoning the energy of the Makyo Star to transform, he could redirect that energy into his new form's attacks and gain power far greater than he had known before. But how was he to gain such a transformation? It was truly a question he had no answer to. He supposed continuing to push his body would help him to gain stronger and reach the level he would need to access it. But that was a rough guess without any evidence to support it. Perhaps one of the higher demons would be able to help him. His Demon Lord might be inclined to help him get stronger if he believed deep down that Heizen truly served him.
That would be difficult however given that Heizen had already betrayed Malakai and showed his true colors to the rest of Demon Realm. Falling in line wasn't his style, and his reputation had showed it.
In the middle of this deep thought however - a stray energy blast came out of nowhere and exploded in the Demon's face! He hadn't even sensed the approaching threat, yet they had landed a sufficient surprise attack! Heizen grunted to himself. The blast hadn't done much damage, but it was still aggravating nonetheless. "WHOSE OUT THERE!?" he roared in annoyance. He floated off the giant rock he formerly stood on, scanning the Desert below him as he ascended in the air. His senses were on high alert as he waited for the next attack.
Suddenly his eyes spotted a second attack. It's trajectory was coming from down below at about a seventy degree angle from the rock and the ground. Extending out a single hand, Heizen contained the blast's explosion blocking a good portion of the damage. Originally he was going to suggest they showed themselves in exchange for his mercy. But this had already escalated beyond such a thing. They had attacked him with a sneaky maneuver, and that was infuriating. Part of his body was covered in scratches from the impact of the explosion, but he was nonetheless mostly uninjured. Powering up at maximum with his ki infused with the powers of the Demon Realm - Heizen prepared himself.

[ExGen Drones (x20): PL is each 1,500]
Heizen counted a total of twenty drones coming at him. The Earthlings on this planet sure did love their toys. It was no wonder they were such a weak species on their own. Focusing on their mechanical devices instead of trying to strengthen their species; always looking to saviors from the stars to save their wretched hide. He sometimes wondered why his ancestors bothered to speak of this place. The Earth was nice and cozy for sure. But there had to be a better planet than this, right? All twenty devices focused their beams on him at once in an attempt to corner him, but with his rapid movement he was able to find a place just outside the blast radius (retreating to the outer edge of the swarm). Targeting a single blast with a smashing punch Heizen ruptured a hole in one causing it to immediately deactivate. Immediately blitzing the one next to it with a knee - another device was dispatched in no time at all. He counted two of the twenty, leaving him with just eighteen more to go. Heizen wasn't going to let these stupid toys best him. A few of the circular drones tried to rush him and ram their hard metal surfaces into the Demon, but charging his ki Heizen let out a large explosion of his ki destroying five drones near him all at once and pushing the others away from him. Seven out of twenty left him only thirteen more to go.
These things weren't sentient from what he could tell. They were just attacking him in coordinated formations but were usually unresponsive. They seemed like they were being controlled remotely by a human, which meant that someone out there was watching him. That really ticked the Demon off quite a bit. Someone was hiding behind these things and hunting him, and he couldn't understand whatever for. He had done nothing wrong on this planet, and it wasn't like these people could have any clue for his future plans for the Earth. Heizen grunted to himself. This was all just so annoying. He needed to learn how to fire attacks at multiple targets at a time instead of relying on singular attacks for efficiency. He was so used to fighting large monsters or powerful leaders of clans. He usually had allies backing him when he took on armies or squadrons. But someday he supposed he would have to learn to effectively squash coalitions on his lonesome. He sighed as he continued to charge and one-shot these drones one by one. After a barrage of taking on another two at once he prepared himself for the next big combined assault of energy waves from the swarm of drones.
Effectively dodging once more- Heizen found himself rising above the entire crowd looking down from below. Panting a little as he began to lose his breath trying to rid himself of these pests one at a time, he began to contemplate his next move so he could end this nuisance. Rushing back in and chopping another device in half (his mind counting a total of twelve drones destroyed) whilst following up with a roundhouse kick to another (destroying it completely as well). That left him with but seven drones. He was close to the end.
He was unsure of these things were transmitting to their creator.. but he felt a need to converse with them. "Whoever you are. Know that your end... will be spectacular. You will rue the day you made me your enemy," he said with a scowl. Smashing two more bots at once in the palms of his hands Heizen felt nothing but pure bliss and relief as he continuously slaughtered these things one by one. Five remained. And they would all be gone soon.
Whoever was controlling them tried to get them to flee - making this all too easy for him. Chasing after the drones in a flash of dark blue light Heizen followed after them. Stretching out a single hand as he charged energy in the palm; a dark blue orb shining before exploding in the form of a wave overtaking one of the drones. Only four now remained. Shooting past the remaining three as Heizen launched a brutal hook punch and elbow into two more in successive blows - his face cold and calculating as he removed the last of these toys for good. There was but one remaining. His red eyes glowed as they stared deeply at the spherical toy. "Next time send a real man after me," he muttered to himself as he ran his fist through the last one.
He didn't see the next blast coming. A large red ball of energy hit his back from behind, launching Heizen into the ground. Scorching and powerful with pressure he couldn't control, Heizen felt terror. "I don't understand... but I killed them all!" he thought to himself. Who had he missed? Upon connecting with the ground, a giant red explosion rang out across the desert. Groaning in pain as his body lay broken, Heizen was twitching as he tried to gather the strength to look up.
What he saw didn't make sense. It was another machine, albeit not a toy but rather a metallic being. It almost looked like a Demon to him. Who was this strange creation? "Who... are you," he thought to himself as he fell into a deep slumber. "I've returned, foolish Heizen. Did you think I hadn't a plan in the event of my death? You stole my clan... and now I will claim your life and your head. And then...I will find a way to kill the rest of your pathetic line," a dark voice muttered. Heizen recognized it... but he could do nothing as everything turned to black and he was taken away.
But he knew: Malokai had returned.
