Somehow, Atsuko was accepted as Kami. It was rather surprising, honestly. The Albino Saiyan was certainly determined to fit the role, but she was also so young. And comparatively inexperienced... Whatever the case was, she wasn't going to back down now. This was her duty, and she would see it fulfilled. The Knight had taken a few moments to set everything into order for her quarters on the Lookout. It was a rather extravagant room, she almost didn't feel worthy of calling this her home. Maybe that would change with time, it was just a lot to take in... The bed was huge.
There was a bookcase, completely filled with various texts that came in book and scrolls. Next to it was a rather comfortable looking chair and a small table with a lamp on it. The Saiyan made a mental note that she would have to do some reading later, it may prove useful to study up on what it meant to be a Kami... Well, as long as the texts were relevant to that, which she assumed that they would be. In any case, the Knight had finished moving her things into the new room. She would be spending a lot of her time on the Lookout now...
It was peaceful here. She could meditate, train. Do as she pleased. There wouldn't be anything to interrupt her here. Well, aside from the fact that she was now under an obligation to protect Earth. A cause that she would readily perform whenever able. However, the time for idle thinking was over. The Namekian by the name of Arion requested to speak with her. He had waited very patiently when she excused herself earlier in order to settle in. Not wanting to keep him waiting any longer, Atsuko proceeded to leave the room.
Making use of her ability to sense, she was able to single out where Arion was and head directly to him. Even with knowing where to go... This place was massive. How many secrets did it hide? She would have to take some time to just explore it. Maybe there was a collection of vast knowledge here, as she walked through the halls, she peered through one of the open doorways to see a library. Well, that certainly fit the bill. She'd have to come back to this later... Her curiosity satisfied for now, she continued pace towards Arion.
When she reached his location, she moved her hands behind her back, standing in a respectful at ease stance. He was likely already aware of her presence, but all the same she proceeded to say... "You wished to speak with me?", she inquired in a calm tone of voice. From what she was able to understand, the Namekian was to be her Assistant. But the man seemed much more experienced than she was, as such she wanted to treat him with respect and learn from him. It was probably an odd relationship to consider between a Kami and their Assistant...
But Atsuko didn't mind. As far as she was concerned, it was just like when she had been named Holy Knight within her Order. People didn't have to treat her differently, and she didn't have to act as what she thought 'would be appropriate'. Instead, she chose to be herself. The Albino Saiyan had admiration for the senior members, and she viewed Arion as being along the same level as them. It didn't have anything to do with age. It took something else, a certain amount of wisdom. Only a few had it, and sadly the Albino Saiyan felt that she lacked it.

Bernael honestly didn't know what to think with all that had happened. His friend has come pretty far since the day they had first met, and the demon boy was sure proud of her. He had already reduced his power level and energy, as well as slipped back into his flak vest as he realized just how big of a moment this was for his friend. The demon boy didn't exactly want to miss out on it, and he almost jumped off the lookout to head out! He stopped himself near moments away from the edge before turning around and starting to head in the direction of where he sensed his friends power.
It didn't take that long to find his friend as he knew the way to tell her power apart from others. He didn't know if it was because of how often he spent around the girl, or if it was because he just enjoyed their time enough to learn it that quickly, but Bernael still knew how to track it down either way. However, he didn't know how to traverse this place at all, in fact he didn't know this place even existed till just that day, so he easily got lost and just relied on following the trail that his friend left as she navigated the place as well, it was quite disorienting to be in a large building like that.
Though, in time he would find his friend and stop outside of where she and the namekian Arion were, he didn't want to just barge in uninvited, so he would wait outside, slumping himself up against the wall before sliding down it. Even though he didn't want to barge in and start talking to them without even knowing what was going on, though he didn't want to exactly stop himself from listening, just in case he was invited in or that something happened that he would have to become a part of. This brought a wave of worry over Bernael, but he trusted everyone there could handle it, so he relaxed himself up against the wall, using it to basically rest his muscles and body. It honestly took a lot out of him to muster his demonic energies out of him, and taking off heavy weights just to put them on again was a real chore as well. For some reason, its like his sinister energies always wanted to clash with him, like it didn't like his personality being so, light towards people. He supposed that, that was naturally having conflicted feelings and focuses in the body, some people even grow separate personalities so he got a pretty calm side of that spectrum.
But then he realized he was focusing too much on thinking about things instead of listening to what Atsuko and Arion would be talking about. Thus he just cleared his mind and rested against the wall, letting his ears take control over his other senses and not even letting his sense of thought take over for the time being.

Silence. That's what the Namekian heard, about time. The Saiyans had just left the Lookout, taking with them all of the chaos away from the Sacred Palace. It's what he was looking forward to, and most especially speak with the Albino Saiyan. He decided to give her as much time as he wanted, he was in no rush and had lots of patience, enough to wait for her. Arion didn't take it badly at all, what he wished for was the well being of the planet. Though, he wanted to know more about Atsuko, he had seen much that far but he would have liked to know more about her.
He didn't know who the Demon was, but he didn't seem like a bad person, though he could tell he was still on the Lookout. It didn't matter that much, he was allowed to stay as long as he wouldn't have caused trouble. A good Demon was quite unusual, but it was good to see one of them with such alignment. Though, they had dangerous energies within themselves. "Better if I keep an eye on him.. And apparently, she is coming.." - he thought, nodding to himself as he sensed Atsuko's energy coming closer.
The Namekian's eyes were closed as he meditated, but as soon as she approached him, he opened his eyes and looked at her carefully. "She seems very formal.. and respectful. It is a good sign, a pretty good one." - he thought, he couldn't help but smile. "Atsuko, am I right? I'd like to congratulate with you for taking such a step in your life. I am Arion, I suppose you'd rather call me as Assistant. Also, I'd like to thank you for your help against that Saiyan. He is really stubborn, I doubt he will ever change." - he said.
"That aside.. There is one thing, you might call it a test, I'd like you to take. If you truly are good in your spirit, there won't be anything to worry about. If you don't mind, your friend can take it too.. I'd like to make sure he is good for real." - he told her.
Seeing Arion smile helped put her quite at ease, though she made sure to keep formal stance. She gave a nod when he asked her name. "Yes... And thank you.", she replied. The Albino Saiyan was a little surprised to be congratulated about taking such a monumental step in her life. It pretty much meant that she forfeits anything that could be deemed 'normal'. But... Then again, it didn't really bother her, either. This was exactly what she had set out to do in the first place as a Holy Knight. Becoming a Kami only meant that she was that much more prepared to act upon it.
The defense of Earth, she couldn't think of a more noble task. This was her home, and it was the home of many others. The Albino Saiyan cherished it dearly, and it was time to show as such by making sure that no harm came to it. Though she set that aside for now, Arion continued on in thanking her for helping with the Saiyan. "Well, it hardly seems fitting to let people like him do as they please... They only want destruction, it's rather saddening... Such potential, wasted. I hoped that he would accept my offer, but..."
Atsuko stopped, it was still clear in her mind how that went. Nasu was set on taking vengeance over what happened in the past. Even if no one on Earth had anything to do with it anymore... Perhaps one day, she could make him see reason. Though her suspicions lined up with the Namekian's. It was doubtful that the brash Saiyan would ever change. The Knight felt even more lucky about her own upbringing as a result, free from such terrible anger and lust for power. Of course it wasn't without certain disadvantages, but... She wasn't afraid.
Arion then added that he had a test for her. This was to see if she was truly good in spirit, and Atsuko had no qualms about taking it. He then mentioned Bernael, the Albino Saiyan closed her eyes, and could feel her friend's presence right outside of the room. Then she gave a nod. "I cannot speak on behalf of my friend, but I am willing to take the test you have for me. And... I would prefer to call you Arion. Or perhaps, mentor. You seem more versed in these matters than I, so it is only fitting I refer to you with respect."
After having said that, she turns slightly so as to face the door. "Bernael, you may enter. I trust you've heard what we were talking about. I won't answer for you, do you want to take the test as well?", the Knight said just loud enough for the half demon to hear, and then waited patiently for him to enter the room. The Albino Saiyan was curious as to just what it was that this test entailed. Was it going to be anything like the trials she faced back at her Temple?
Whatever the case, she wouldn't be waiting very long in order to find out.

With a smirk on his face, he listened to what the two were saying in the room, it was a pretty nice conversation, his friend Atsuko was certainly moving ahead in life and he was there to see it, or at least hear it for the time being, from his spot outside the room. However, he sort of shot up when he heard something about a test, a test that would be no trouble at all if the person taking it was truly good in spirit. He had no doubts in his mind that his friend would be able to pass it, she was one of the most good spirited people he knew, there was no way that she would have trouble with it. But the thing that made him shoot up, was when Arion spoke of having Atsuko's friend take it as well. "Is he talking about me...?" the demon boy thought to himself when he heard those words.
The boy gulped, if he was to take the test as well, he didn't know how he would do. He felt like a good spirited person, but was he truly enough to take this test? What if it was extremely hard, or what if it proves to him that he isn't a good person after all, what if he was bad?! These thoughts shot through Bernael's head like a speeding bullet, he never thought that taking a test like that would fill him with such inward grief. However, he heard his friends words and he just slowly responded "Y-Yeah sorry that I listened in... I'll gladly enter" he would say, taking a few steps into the room "And I will gladly take the test as well. I know this sounds a little odd, but even I want to make sure that I am 'good for real'..." he would say, an unsure look on his face.
"To elaborate... I truly do think I am a good person, I want to help people, I want to help my friend here and everything... but sometimes I feel something bad inside me... I honestly don't know if I am a good person but I want to believe I am!" he said, a very serious look on his face. "If this test can prove to me that I am good... and to make others believe that I am good... I want to take it, I want to set my mind, and my heart, at ease." the demon boy would say, a very intent sensation in his eyes. If it turned out that he was bad, so be it... he would just have to change how he was even more to become a better person, and if there was no way to do that, he would rather just be a bad person trying to be good. In the end he wouldn't let what some test says, stop him from continuing what he thought was good.
At least, that is what the boy wanted to believe for the time being. There was no way for him to know what the test would entail, and no way to tell how it would achieve his results. However, with or without that knowledge, he would still want to take the test. He wanted to know the results of his journey thus far on his alignment.
Like he was really gonna just wonder off so easily. He'd doubled back shortly after watching for when the warrior would make his departure and wait for the opportunity to slip back. He was quick on his feet as usual. An the second he landed quick to go from the back of the odd palace and work his way around. Jarvis had no tech or 'sense' skills. But he had sharp eyes and ears that could pick up most sounds. A hunter and tracker proved and trained the old fashioned way. Good for hunting a meal on some planets or hunting down people pending the jobs. Sometimes it was all the same when the bounty was high enough.
He was quick through and past the doors. His way of moving losing that smug swagger in his steps to a more soft footing way of movement. Silent in his steps and unless they were feeling out for him he thought maybe he could slip by. He was like a snake slithering through its den trying to remain hidden and undetected. He heard them softly through a nearby pathway. Carefully making sure the door behind them was shut and latched a moment after. Holding the knob and latch carefully. He wanted to make sure he could hear it if they exited. Her personally... Was curious of what other then the dangerous people resided in such a place.
Quickly moving forward through other rooms. Rooms of books and art, Plants and strange marvels as he explored this place of curiosities. Looking for the treasure that often lay within such extravagant palaces. Moving by the hallways quickly and stopping by a odd looking tree but of which fruits looked... Familiar. Similar to some special fruits he favored from off world. Snagging a few apples from one of the inner halls and continuing forwards quickly chewing through the intoxicating fruits. Himself feeling little effect as only those without a tolerance really only suffered severe reactions. The core left in his wake upon one of the shelves he passed. Being a little cheeky as he put great trust in his sneaking skills. Besides what was a little thievery? These guardians or whatever seemed to have it good. Surely they could spare a little to the more in need?
Before long he'd been in a room with a odd looking chair and some books and scrolls. Quickly upon them looking curiously as well as opening various boxes here and there looking through strange information and objects. Finding quickly anything and everything he might consider valuable. There we books in strange texts and scrolls that spoke of strange rituals and techniques that made little sense to him. Realizing most if not all this information would need hours of deliberation and study to actually make sense out of it. Within mere moments the books were moved about messily on the bookshelf. On the table nearby a stack of three or so were put to the side. Titles and images within them that related to things he'd heard of on other worlds. Unsure if they would be valuable to him or not. An even if they weren't they were certainly worth a pretty penny to someone.
A small box would be pulled from shelf as well and several strange jewels and objects that appeared to be jewelry? Unsure of their meaning and began tossing him into the small box setting it on top of the stack of books. Setting them off to the side for now. Putting them back to the book shelf remembering where he left it so he could grab it quickly later. Turning away for a moment there after. Away from the shelf as his leg stumbled into a rather large vase next to him. An in a fraction of a second the lovely vase rolled and slipped to its side as a shattering sound echoed down the hall ways. "Damn..." Was all he had time to mutter. [PL 18,961/37922]

The Namekian offered a nod as the Albino Saiyan spoke. He was completely in agreement with Atsuko's statement, that Saiyan had lots of potentials which was unfortunately wasted. Arion was not exactly the most aggressive person, but he wouldn't have hesitated if it was necessary. The Saiyan brutes were much different than him, he couldn't do much about it, but everyone could change. "There is no point in dwelling on what could have been possible, as of now of course. He was given more than one chance to change his mindset." - he told her.
Arion looked at the boy who had just showed up, the Demon just seemed to be curious, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Though, what to do was to be decided. He couldn't tell what would have happen, but it was worth a shot. "Glad to hear it, young man. Not many would be so brave, not everyone can take on such a test and it is much more than a simple duel or anything you'd imagine. Just remember: if there is only the smallest trace of evil in your spirit.. you will die shortly after. So, think carefully if you truly wish to take this test- also! Don't take it as if I've doubts on your alignment, but I'd rather warn you now than later on. But now.." - he paused his speech, looking around briefly. He had sensed another presence on the Lookout and it was familiar.
"Well, if you really wish to call me mentor.. I suppose your first lesson would be to always let your sense be extended towards your surroundings. In this case, we have a guest here on the Lookout. You might want to deal with it, demon boy?" - he asked. He could not tell what the person was doing on the Lookout but Bernael could certainly deal with him, Arion had also thought it would have been a good way to make sure of his good spirit.
"By all means, Kami.. you're free to go by yourself. The choice is up to you." - he told her.
What Arion said was true, there was little point in dwelling upon 'what ifs'. Nasu made his choice, apparently this wasn't he first time he had chosen it, either... That was something she could believe. The Albino Saiyan had several encounters with the man, and none of them were very pleasant. It was sad, but they were likely going to be enemies no matter what... She hoped that it wouldn't escalate to larger battles, but if it must, she would not hesitate to defend Earth. She couldn't afford to take such risks anymore. Her duties as Kami could not be ignored because of her own personal feelings.
Finally, Bernael entered the room. He first apologized for the eavesdropping, but the Saiyan smiled, shaking her head lightly. "It's alright. We've traveled together long enough, I know you mean no harm.", the Knight responded to the half demon. Afterwards, he pointed out that he was eager to take the test in order to be certain of his own alignment. Atsuko didn't have a doubt in her mind about his goodness, and she didn't have any reservations about herself for that matter. It wasn't that she thought she couldn't fail... But she was determined to succeed.
That was certainly a good step. Bernael continued on by pointing out that he wanted to take it in order to be certain of himself. Once he finished his speech, she placed a hand on his shoulder, smiling at him. "I know you'll do well, Bernael. You're a good person, I genuinely believe that.", she added. And then she looked back to the Namekian. Apparently this wasn't a simple test of one's fighting spirit. It was something where they could die if there were any traces of evil in them whatsoever... The Albino Saiyan was briefly concerned about the extremity of such a test.
But she soon casts such worries aside. It made perfect sense, not anyone could become Kami. It required someone with truly good intentions to do it. As he paused in his explanation, he seemed to feel something... And the Knight could feel it as well, a familiar presence. It wasn't that brutish Saiyan from before. That must have been Bernael's friend.... The one that performed such strange actions before he left. Soon after deducing this, Arion pointed out that it was wise to have her senses be extended to her surroundings, to which she nodded in agreement.
"I agree. I've been practicing it daily just for such a purpose. I've gotten quite experienced at it.", she responded. Arion instructed Bernael to deal with the guest. He was certainly skilled enough to deal with the man, and he was inclined to a peaceful route. So when the Namekian asked if Atsuko was willing to go alone... "I'll take the test now, yes. My friend will deal with the guest in the meantime. A strategic approach to the situation.", she gave her answer. While she knew the stakes at hand, she still didn't know what the test itself entailed.
The Albino Saiyan didn't have any intentions of failing, but she was still anxious about it. The fear of an unknown was settling in, but she wasn't going to back out now. She came this far, it would be an insult if she did. No, Atsuko was going to perform whatever was necessary. She would do so without hesitation. Bravery was not the absence of fear, it was being afraid but standing up to those fears anyway. Whatever it was... The Knight was ready. It showed in her stance and expression, within her energy as well.
To be faced with such an extreme test... It filled Atsuko with determination.

The demon boy tensed up as he felt his friends hand touch his shoulder, but it allowed him to relax a bit more at her words. "T-Thanks... that means a lot." he said to her, and sort of to himself trying to use the words for encouragement. But he sort of tensed up again when he heard that the test would kill them if they had even a bit of evil in their spirit. Bernael had no doubts that Atsuko would be able to pass that test, she was as pure of heart as they got, at least from what he could see up to that point. However, there was still the problem of his own morality, was he truly free of any evil in his spirit? Perhaps, perhaps he had no evil inside of him, but there was something sinister inside him, maybe this test could clear him of that if he passed it. The boy was once more determined as he nodded to himself.
Though, it seemed that he had something to do before he himself took the test, Atsuko would be going alone for the test as he would take care of this problem. He sensed something a bit off, it didn't seem evil and it seemed very familiar to him. It calmed him in a sense, it could possibly be that of a friend, so he just calmed down. "Yeah, yeah I'll take care of it" the demon boy said. "But once I get back, I'll get passed that test too~ I promise that" he would say, intent in his burning red eyes once more, the pupil of his eye turning into a diamond shape from the normal black dot in the center. "Good luck Atsuko, though I doubt you'll need it~" he said to Atsuko, with a light smile on his face, before looking to the namekian. "And you make sure to congratulate her for me once she passes, if I am not back in time for it. Take care of her too~" he would say to Arion, his tongue sticking out excitedly and lightly before he would stop and exit the room.
His outer appearance was meant to show confidence or excitement, but he was honestly a bit scared. He wanted to trust Atsuko's words to him, that he was truly good and that he would do well with the test. However he just couldn't have that confidence in his actions when such stakes were in the way, though even with the stakes at hand he would want to go through with it, whether he was bad or good, whether he would die or pass, he wanted to take the test. He shook his head slowly as he turned and would head towards where the power of the guest was. He heard the sound of a vase breaking, and that helped him to track where he was meant to go. Before long he would arrive in a throne room that he heard the sound and sensed the power. "Blue?" he would say, a light smile on his face. He was glad that his job wouldn't involve having to hurt anybody, least he hoped that he wouldn't have to hurt his acquaintance. "Why did you leave man, I didn't actually want you to leave for the time being, though I guess you ended up coming back. I saw that little tongue gesture so I guess you understood anyways... so whats up-" was all he mustered out before spotting the shattered vase.
"-Oh man... I really hope that wasn't really valuable. Did you break this? What are you doing in this room anyways?" he would say, slowly walking closer, without hostile intent, keeping a casual stride and posture. He didn't want to make the man leave right after he got here, and he also didn't want to make the man think that Bernael was angry about the vase, cause in all honesty he wasn't angry as it wasn't his property, it was the others problem for that little bit of decor, for the time being at least.
He'd only had a few moments to try and move about the broken pieces before someone was already here... The red one as well. A slow heavy breathed sigh exhaling as Jarvis would look up at him upon hearing him speak out to him. The moment dragging on for a moment before Jarvis would finally rise back to his feet. Looking at the vase as the kid spoke and walked closer. Jarvis didn't see any hostile intent but in a almost unnoticeable momentary tremble his body would tense. As if caught in his game and prepared for dangers. The fox cornered by the farmer in the hen house. But quickly realizing or at least seeming to realize the boy's naive mind hadn't quit picked up on things yet. He'd gulp lightly before shaking it off and trying to look casual. His eyes relaxing from a surprised to more relaxed fashion after a moment. His jaw untightening and trying to relax as he'd attempt to speak carefully. "What can I say? Guess I couldn't keep away!... Place looked nice and that friend of yours as some soft.... Well. Maybe I thought I left to hastily after all. Thought we could all just have a fun talk and see where the night takes us once the saiyan boy was gone!" Clearly misdirecting as he spoke with sarcasm and a cheerful and joking tone. Winking when he spoke of the girl and trying to be clear at what he meant about them both as well when he spoke of where the night might take them if he'd stayed.
He'd look towards the vase... Then behind him as well to the stack of books at book shelf. A small box with a few gems and jewels haphazardly tossed into a box not likely how Atsuko or Arion would have left them. Then a moment later back to Red figuring it wouldn't take long for him to notice as well. "Sadly yes... the valuable thing fell to me being clumsy. Those wounds must have slowed me down. I'm normally a much better thief." Slyly giving Burn a grin that suggested devilish intent. "Are you the only one that heard? Or just the first to find me? This place has so many fine things so its not like anyone would miss that stuff. Considering a donation to the less fortunate!" Jarvis shrugging but in a jerk when Bern got to close he'd skid back in a Jerk reaction. Putting distance between them again. Tensing then relaxing a moment after. "Not to close now..." He'd say with a chuckle through his grin. Waving a finger of one of his hands as he held it up. Clearly playing it safe just encase Bern attempted anything. "You now how this works kid... People like this aren't gonna handle me well. Heh... They'll only continue to see what they want to see just like at that fight. You can't just wash away the corruption others want to see. So... I suppose all we have to consider is what do you plan to do?" The man looking back to the shelf then back to Bernael. Trying to push for some form of answer while remaining cheerful as if they were just paling around or this was some meaningless game between old pals. In truth Jarvis still worried unsure if the other two were just about to round the corner. It would get bad if he got cornered down here.
He wasn't sure exactly what opinions the other two held of him. Merely thought it couldn't possibly be good. This would only worsen it and he had no way of knowing if hostilities were still high. He could only presume yes how the angry saiyan shot off prior. But for now he'd just try and hold the vision of calm and relaxed intentions. While keeping his muscles ready should he need to fight. Wondering if he'd have to fight the cute little red Fox... Wishing if only the world was a perfect one where he could enjoy something a bit more relieving and...pleasurable with the boy and his holy friend not far behind other then these said circumstances they'd recently come into. "Well?" The fox would try and calm and misdirect the farmer... hoping its play for the chickens would not earn him the lash this day.

The Namekian offered a nod to the Demon as he departed, at least he seemed to be a good person. Then, he looked at Atsuko and nodded once again in agreement. "Very well then, if you'd follow me.." - he said, before walking away with the Albino Saiyan. The two made their way through the several halls and stairs before arriving into a dark room, perhaps it could have seemed intimidating to some. A table with a few cups and a grail could be seen in the middle of the room, Arion looked at Atsuko as he spoke. "This is it.. the Holy Water. As I mentioned, if your spirit is pure there is no need to be afraid. Though, if there is even the smallest trace of evil, you won't make through it." - he told her.
And so just like that, the group began to split up it's efforts. Atsuko would go on ahead to take the test, and Bernael would deal with their newcomer. The Namekian gave a nod and then requested that the Saiyan follows, the Knight gives a nod of her own in response, and follows the sage-like man as he leads her through the Lookout. There were several halls and stairs to go through first, and that left the Knight with her thoughts as they walked. Just what was it going to be? The anticipation was really starting to get to her.
The only real comfort she had is that it was apparently not a trial of combat. But then what was it that could very well risk her life, and the lives of others? The Albino Saiyan wracked her mind with what it could have been, but it never became any clearer. Her Order didn't have anything that extreme during their studies and training. All she could do was not allow her nerves to falter, the sooner she found out what this entailed, the easier it would become. Her expression had become rather serious and the Albino Saiyan didn't even seem to be aware of it.
Finally Arion opened a door, and the two stepped into a dark room that had just enough light to be able to make out a table with a few cups, and one large grail. The Knight blinked as they continued their approach. Finally the Namekian stopped, prompting the Albino Saiyan to do the same. He turned to face her and then began to explain what it was they had come here for. "The Sacred Holy Water... I see.", the Knight commented in response. She began to process his words as she calmly stepped over to the table.
Arion asked once more if she was ready for this, she could feel her body tensing up at just how dangerous this all seemed... But he didn't seem the type to lie to her, and she was certain that she was not evil. After all, her entire life had been dedicated to the protection of others. She would be willing to put her life on the line so that everyone else could know peace. The Knight inhaled deeply, and then exhaled slowly. Her body steadied and then she gave a nod, her face now filled with determination once more.
"Yes. I'm ready. I won't run scared from my enemies, and neither can I flee from death. If I am to die here, I shall do so with dignity.", the Knight gave her response. "If I lose my life. I have one request for you. There is a Temple in the Cold North, can you return the sword and sheath I carry to my brothers and sisters?", she made her request, her gaze now focused on the Namekian as she waited for his response. Either way, she would be drinking the water soon enough... The Saiyan still had no idea what to expect.
But she had come this far, no turning back. This much Atsuko had already decided.

Bernael's fists were tensing up slowly, as he would open and close them. "Look... blue, I enjoy your company and all, and I also don't mind that you... well... touched my friend in a bit of a, inappropriate way... that is for her to deal with and all, but... it seems all too much like you are trying to get off topic here, but on purpose." the boy would say, a more sinister glare going towards the man, almost as if trying to threaten him over being an all around friendly pal. But his glare didn't last too long, as the man would finally fess up to what happened to the vase.
The boy gave a light sigh, staring down and kicking at the ground slowly, discontent on his face as he listened to blues every word, even stopping and giving a sort of, unamused look on his face when blue would skid back when Bernael got close to him. Perhaps there was more to this than meets the eye, Bernael would slowly spot the easy to see box and stare at it for a short time before finally responding to what Blue was saying to him, he wasn't in the lightest of tones. "Alright... I'll try to answer you... no, we didn't even hear it really, well, I heard it on my way here but I was already on my way over before you even smashed the darn thing, they sent me to go check on everything for the time being, they could go on without me, and I heard it." he would respond, not leading on that all of them knew how to sense ki signatures just yet, and that was how they found him exactly. "Also I am sure that nobody will miss that stuff, but this isn't exactly 'evil rich guys manor', I dunno if that exactly applies here, plus I doubt it is a good idea to steal from them anyways, just a friendly tip." the boy would shrug, giving a small smirk as he would do so, his tone lighting up just a little bit.
"But yes, I DO know how this works, it seems everyone always sees the bad side of things, even if you had good meanings. People will always point out the negatives over the positives, no matter what you do. But look, you don't have to worry about the others right now... they are pretty far off right now, doing some test... and as for what I plan on doing here?" the boy would say, a smile slowly growing more prominent on his face. What exactly would the boy do? He hadn't exactly thought of that for the time being, he was too busy catching up on the situation and trying to figure out how to respond to Jarvis, that he hadn't thought on what he was going to do in this situation just yet. He pondered on it very slowly, his smile still on his face as he looked over at the blue hybrid. Though, it seemed that the man was getting a bit impatient, pushing for an answer as the time was growing on without the demonic human answering. The boy supposed it was time to be a little more light, showing his more friendly side towards this man.
"I plan on, I guess... cleaning that little mess up next to you. I can't just leave it there, I could also just say that I messed up and knocked it over myself. I think they would let me off perfectly fine, due to it being an accident by me, and it was on my way to do what I was asked to do. If its told, that it was you that knocked it over, they would probably question why you were in here and it would be this whole argument. And honestly, you aren't a very bad guy, so I don't want you to be hurt just because your hands went where they weren't exactly supposed to, you don't deserve that." the demon boy would explain, rubbing the back of his neck as he stared at the shattered vase. He hoped letting a thief go free wouldn't mess with his morality for that test thing, it would be bad if it was that morally wrong to not want somebody to get hurt over something so small. "However... that box back there... you are going to leave that behind... and you are going to come with me..." the demon boys smile dropped down to just a light smile. "I know you wanted to take it but... I don't think I can let you do that... I don't want to be 'that guy' that ruins all your fun, but it just isn't going to happen for today, plus if I bring you back with me... we can all keep an eye on you so that you don't cause more trouble, maybe it will even bring up some trust with them, so that they aren't so disliking of your presence." the demon boy would end off on. He was true and honest with his words, he hoped that if Jarvis was there with them, that perhaps it could build up a trust, even if it was only a small one among them all, he also didn't plan to lay a single finger on Jarvis, he just wanted to go be with his other friends again, while stopping something wrong from happening for the time being. A sigh escaped the boys lips at the very end as he continued to rub his neck. "Truly... what a hassle"
He'd roll his eyes snickering after a moment listening to the red one speak. He had trouble telling if this kid was naive as he let on sometimes. Or perhaps a bit dense in a cute innocent kind of way. "Change topics on purpose? No of course not. Maybe you're just working to hard kid! Getting your head all mixed up. Totally not misdirecting you or anything." He'd say honestly seeing it as no real point in hiding it after a moments thought. The fellow was gonna piece it together sooner or later if he hadn't already. His fast tongue wouldn't have had as clean of a edge on it given the odd circumstances he was found under as well so he was likely gonna have to play this a little different.
"Check on it? So are you the lackey to the guardian? Guard dog perhaps red one? You seemed even playful as it was rather quick to be for sending me away prior? An didn't keep up your feelings against over odds in that battle after making her case and she spoke back? Now you check up on noises in hall ways?" Letting out a light whistle in a jesting and jilting manner. "I guess the guardian and green one are the top of the pack then?" Smirking with a light chuckle.
With a jerk back in speed again sliding on the ground the odd box would be off the shelf and in a swipe back in his hand. The books however were too large to take as well. "Oh? So you mean I can't have this? This place doesn't really seem all that similar to ya'lls style though. Whose to say its any more yours then it is mine? An where should I go if I follow you? You plan to take me to the white tail with the ass that feels of clouds? I'm afraid no matter the circumstances I never go easily into night. I've survived some dangerous things out there kid. Out in the worst parts of the galaxy. Are you sure this is how you want to play it? You could always help me take some of this? It's not they'll need it? And... well... I might enjoy some company with someone like you while on this planet. Or do you thing your fastest enough to out speed the fox?" Jarvis tilting his head as his smirk slithered up his cheek like a snake. Unclear if he was testing, threatening, or possibly flirting with the red haired boy.
He had little idea on the boys power and to a extent he liked him. But he though some of the talk was a bluff. Perhaps the guardian herself was the power and this simply her friend or lackey boy. He did seem eager to clean and take blame. Far to innocent and naive to be real danger. Jarvis would shake the box lightly in his hand as the jingling of its contents were heard. Expecting he could out speed the boy should he try anything.
