The tiny brenchian woman was flying though the skies above West City, with her fiery-like crimson-colored ki aura around her body. Her eyes were focused like an eagle looking for a pray, and her scouter was beeping like crazy trying to search for strong power levels that would match Jarvis’ recorded power level on Planet Trade Organization’s database: 12,000. She had a very serious expression during her flight, as she was really serious about her job. And also nervous as hell, since she was to face a far stronger foe that merciless attacked a PTO cruise, rending him a top spot in the wanted list, dead or alive. ”I would rather take him alive… I don’t really like to kill people, even when they are rotten criminals like this Caesar guy! But, yeah... I’m not really in a position of choosing!” she thought to herself, stopping in the middle of the city, looking from one side to the other.
Well, a brenchian resembles a human being on everything, but their weird skin-color. Her bright-red skin, along with her battle suit were clear indicators that she was an alien, and the people down there were already freaking out to the point that plenty of cops cars were already there, trying to handle the situation, that could potentially become a real mess, with invaders once again harassing Earth. – Unidentified alien! Get down to the ground with your hands up! – One of the cops said over a megaphone. Frayne arched her brows and widened her eyes, staring at the group of police officers that gathered down below, blinking her eyes twice, before slapping her forehead. ”Dammit!” she complained to herserlf, and, shortly after that, she waved both her hands in a negative gesture, and spoke out loud. – Sorry to annoy you all! I’m just looking for a criminal!! Don’t mind me, please! I mean you no harm!! – she said in a nervous tone that convinced no one.
– Alien! You have thirty seconds to surrender, or we will open fire! All units, requiring assistance!! – they answered. Frayne sighed nervously, unsure on what she should do; of course she could avoid prison if she wanted to, but that would cause quite a lot of trouble. ”Come on, brain! Don’t leave me hanging!” she begged, poking her temple plenty of times.
Fenris had actually had a regular day, for once, inasmuch as a day could go for a pitfighter who also happened to be a demon; find a back-alley fighting ring, beat the ever-living tar out of his opponents, and get paid. He'd barely even been scraped in the process, the one punch that had grazed him equivalent to having a speck of dust flicked from his shoulder. Stepping out into a main thoroughfare, though, he quickly backpedaled and threw up the hood of his jacket as his eyes were bombarded by the flash of red-and-blues from a horde of police cars. More officers than he could count were pulled up into defensive positions around their vehicles with guns all pointed to an alien that Fenris had never seen before.
Human in appearance, but with odd skin and hair colors, she wore armor similar to what he'd seen on Saiayajin, with a spiked chevron logo emblazoned over the left breast. Tch. Typical human response; fear and suspect anything you don't understand to be out for your life. Able to sympathize, he curled his lower lip, manipulating his tongue to create a tiny opening, pressed it up, and blew out a short, shrill whistle to get her attention. A jerk of the head indicated the back alley he'd been about to exit, and the darkness therein that could provide suitable cover. Sure, running from the cops was a bad idea, and would probably get them after him in the process, but for once, the demon just wanted to stick it to humanity.
The man had been looking for something to fight since a while, hopefully not another disappointment like most of his encounters. He had to admit, being raised by a few Saiyans had probably influenced his traits, he had a natural fighting instinct but it was not as strong as a Saiyan's. And most especially, he was not a crude warrior just like the average Saiyan. He didn't want to be like one of them, but he also wanted to fight someone as powerful as himself or even more.
"I wonder what are all of the Saiyans up to.. most especially Natto and the rest, they'd be fun to fight with. I can bet my hair-.. Oh." - he thought to himself, placing a hand on his bald head. "Right, no hair.." - he said to himself, letting out a sigh.
That day, the man was taking a walk around West City, it seemed like a nice city and possibly there could have been something to do, perhaps some powerful monster to fight or at least that's what he hoped for. The Hero was wearing his uniform just like any other day, someone took him as a weirdo but he was used to that. Then suddenly, he heard several police sirens in the distance and someone mentioning an alien.
"What?! An alien attacking the city, now and here?! Hah! This might be my day!" - he said, a smirk forming on his face. The Hero took off and flew towards the sound of sirens, he could see a figure in the skies, was it the alien? The Human flew closer, standing in front of her, looking at her with a disappointed expression on his face. "But.. she is just a.. tiny red girl, not a dangerous monster.." - he said to himself and let out a sigh as he crossed his arms. He heard a whistle too and shifted his gaze for a short time before looking at the alien woman once again. "So.. uh, why is the police so angry here? The city seems fine, but if you destroyed something I'll have to beat you down I guess, even if you are a girl." - he asked.
Athren had been quite bored on this day, though he didn't know it now things were shortly going to be quite eventful. To keep things unique and different, the young royal blooded saiyan had decided to visit locations he normally wouldn't. He was actually extending his reach outside of his normal little box that he lived in. Usually, eat, sleep and train was all that was on his mind. Today though he was going to make different, he wasn't going to allow himself to completely skip out on living simply because he was too hard headed and stubborn to see that he was watching the parade go by. He needed to break free and live a little, sure. He could still be a cold and brutal warrior and have a day or two off. It wouldn't hurt his growth that much, besides. One never really could know what they'd learn by roaming the Earth. So far, through his ventures he had met a handful of good people, including the few saiyan's he would call his 'squad'. There was always room for that to grow, he had three more bedrooms in his ship that would gladly accept saiyan's that would help Athren in the long run. Whether they become simply sparring buddies to 'brothers', if they were to benefit the prince. They were welcome.
Currently, Athren had found himself in the well populated, wealthy area of West City. It was quite large and busy. The people there had seemed to have a chip on their shoulder, as far as he could tell anyway. They weren't overly nice and the traffic had been quite unreasonable. The sounds of the vehicles and the horns echoed throughout the city, it wasn't an ideal place to live. In fact, Athren couldn't take how all the humans down below could handle it, it was a toxic environment, pathetic. They had all seemed like slaves, all travelling to and from work to pay for their transportation to get there. It was pathetic. None of them had motivation to push through the boundaries that the governments had placed them it, Athren chuckled slightly as he watched from above. "And they think that they're all free. How foolish."
At this very moment in time Athren found himself sitting on the edge of a tall skyscraper, he was staring down below trying to make sense of everything he was seeing. It was funny, they could easily change the pathetic lifestyle they were all living if they had risen up and faced their 'leaders'. They had the numbers and the strength to do it, yet nothing was being done. If Athren had been in that situation he'd put up a fight to escape it. Of course, he was a saiyan though and he was in the position to do the ruling. His attention was on the earthlings below until he had heard the sound of police sirens and yelling over to his left. It was only down the street. It wasn't very far away, from his current position he could see a figure in the sky. She had a saiyan style armour on but he couldn't make out much more detail than that. It was enough to catch Athren's attention. He lifted off from the rooftop and made his way over there, when he was beside her he had scanned her down from head to toe. He saw the Planet Trade Organization logo and made it out instantly. ~Hm, Wonder if she's here to conquer this planet?~ Athren thought to himself as her hands were raised to surrender to the police. ~ No, there she couldn't be? That doesn't make any sense why she'd surrender.~ At this point, Athren wanted to talk to her. His head moved to the left to notice another warrior whom had been there. Unfortunately, Athren didn't hear the whistle of the other fighter in the alley below, but that wouldn't have stopped him from doing what he was about to do. He needed to talk to this girl, he wanted to know what the hell the PTO was up too. The Saiyan Empire and the Planet Trade had been at war for quite some time now, he wanted details but he couldn't get them with the distraction of the police force below. "Move along, both of you. I'll deal with the police and catch up." With that being said Athren lowered himself down to the street. His white boots touched down against the pavement.
It was in that moment that Athren's right arm had extended towards them, his palm opened. "You really need to mind your own damn business, you know that?" With that being said, Athren would've unleashed his Nova Press technique. Of course, if one of the three warriors in the area had tried to stop him it was very possible. Though they would've needed to react quickly. Currently, Athren put little energy into the Nova Press. He wasn't out to kill anybody, all he wanted to do was push them all back and give the crimson female an opportunity to escape. He didn't understand why she didn't just leave but that wasn't any of his business. If nobody had stopped Athren's attack, the police force that had been on foot would've been tossed back a good twenty feet and most likely would've landed on their backs, all their patrol cruisers would've ended up rolling about the concrete a good two to four times each. It was wonderful, for Athren at least. He didn't really care what the other fighters had thought, besides. It really wasn't any of their business what he did. They'd surely stir up more trouble for the whole city if they had intervened. Athren wasn't one that liked to have his actions stopped, he was saiyan royalty. None here had the right to tell him how to act or what to do. If they wanted to push their luck and attempt such a feat, he'd meet them with his fists in battle. That was the way the young fighter operated. Word Count: 1,009 Heavy Weights Equipped. 24,567 PL W/Weights = 6,141
Frayne was nervous like hell! While she floated on the skies, the policemen seemed to become angrier at the moment, and they were already pointing their guns at her! ”Not good!!! I knew this was trouble the moment I walked into this city! Crap, crap!!!” she thought to herself, raising her hands to see if that would calm the humans down a little bit. But then, she heard a whistle coming from one of the alleys nearby. When Frayne stared at the place, she saw a human-looking strong male. His power level was huge, the scouter said! Over six thousand and he seemed to be implying that she should follow him to run away from the cops! ”They will see me as criminal!” she thought in terror, as she had always been a good law abiding member of her society. Her time was running low and shortly after the whistle, another human with a considerable power appeared. He directly spoke to her, inquiring if she had destroyed anything! Frayne widened her eyes and opened her mouth in surprise before shaking her head abruptly from one side to the other.
– No sir! I promise I didn’t do anything! I was just flying above the city!! I didn’t know it was against the law or anything!!! – there was almost desperation on her voice, and she gulped after speaking, feeling really inclined to follow the strong-looking human. But then, the scenery became a complete mess when a saiyan appeared: Always the saiyans!. Frayne immediately frowned her brows when she stared at him, and it was called for, as he immediately attacked the policemen there. He was strong! Almost as strong as the whistling human, but luckily nobody died! ”Dang! This saiyan is causing a mess… I will end up taking part of the blame for this! I should run!” she thought to herself, gulping again, before flaring her crimson ki aura once again and heading straight towards Fenris.
When she got close enough, she was almost crying. – Please, mister! Help me!! Those policemen, and a saiyan!! Saiyan are always trouble!! – she said in a hasty and nervous tone when she landed nearby Fenris.
Well, if things weren't borked before, they sure as all hell were now. And the cause of the trouble, in almost comically stereotypical fashion, was another fracking Saiyajin. Remembering his last encounter with a member of the overly-proud race caused a momentary ache in one of the demon's ankles, the memory of his first strike causing the sympathetic pain to flare back up. But now, this one (haughty as his people were wont to do), well he was even worse than the first Saiyajin Fenris had met, willing to assault the officers doing their jobs (however ignorantly they were going about it). Despite sensing that their powers were roughly the same, he could tell that the man had far deeper reserves in wait. Every instinct told him to run; that the red woman listened to him and even approached without any fear because of his appearance was something of a shock. Fenris's gaze darted between her and the Saiyajin summoning ki for an attack, and despite himself he was tempted to intervene on the humans' behalf. No-one deserved to be assaulted simply without reason. The energy, however, seemed vastly lackluster, almost pathetic for someone with such power, until he realized that the man wasn't trying to harm the police officers, merely stymie them. When that epiphany hit him, he let out a small breath he hadn't known he'd been holding and, not thinking about what he was doing, wrapped an arm around the alien's waist, practicality winning out over his lack of social know-how for dealing with anybody beyond a pit boss.
"They'll be fine, he's just covering our escape. Now hang on," he explained before their outlines blurred and they disappeared down the alleyway, flickering afterimages appearing at the junctions where trafficways intersected as he moved at precise angles and exact lines until they were well away from the main city roads. Pausing now that the immediate danger was gone, the demon let his senses stretch out to detect any nearby life-forms. Finding nothing beyond a small gathering of curious cats, he loosened his grip on the strange woman and took a step away to get another look at her.
Without any sort of ice-breaker forthcoming, he remained awkwardly silent for a moment before practically blurting “Helluva day, huh?”
The Human looked between the alien and the Human down there, they didn't look like criminals at all. He had no reason to believe so at least, but he had to be careful. "Well, okay then. What is.." - he was interrupted by the sudden appearance of the Saiyan, he was surprised to see one showing up. He had to be strong but he didn't seem evil, though he could not tell the difference. "I bet this guy is strong.. kinda disappointed he isn't Natto.. and I have never seen this one. Hm, well he might be strong at least." - he thought.
The man stared at the Saiyan blankly, he had no reason to turn serious yet, it was not any kind of real menace after all. "Hey, be more careful next time." - he told him before turning and taking note of the girl.
She was not there anymore, he glanced around until he found her next to the other Human. "Oh.. I suppose she got scared. Better check them out, they don't seem to be but perhaps they might be dangerous.." - he thought to himself before he flew over to the two. He didn't say anything, he simply looked at the both of them with a blank expression.
Well, it appeared that Athren's plan had worked out perfectly. There wasn't a single difference from the way he had planned it out in his head to the way it happened. All of the police were incapable of pursuit and the strange Planet Trade Organization soldier had managed to get some distance between herself and the police force. Though, she had tagged along with a stranger. Surely they weren't allies, if they were and things got hostile Athren would have to remove his weights to have a chance of winning. Regardless, Athren believed that violence was going to be a very unlikely outcome due to the simple fact that she surrendered to the police force. Giving a smirk down to his fallen targets Athren heard the voice of the other male telling him to be more careful next time, When he heard this he couldn't help but arch his right eyebrow up curiously. ~That was as easy as I could get? What the hell does this guy expect? Me to throw flowers at these foolish cops?~ Athren thought in his head as he literally couldn't have taken it any easier, if he had resorted to physical attacks the police force most likely would have ended up having a broken bone or two each. In a retort to the mans words Athren began to speak, his eyes shifted coldly to the man just before he flew away. "That's as easy as I get." He paused for a brief moment. "They aren't dead, so be grateful about that." With that being said, Athren's tone was full of confidence. His eyes shined brightly as they showed he was full of it as well. Aas the man flew off Athren had assumed it was to track down the others. It was in this moment that he took a glance at his scouter and confirmed his suspicion. He was heading in the direction of the other two which made it fairly easy, Athren had some questions for the female warrior and he damn well wanted answers to them all.
It didn't take very long for Athren to go in pursuit of the three fighters, and it took even less time for him to reach his destination. Once he did, his boots once again touched down softly against the surface of the Earth. His eyes scanned around the three as he observed for any hostile vibes. Though, it would be assumed he wouldn't notice any. His ocean blue eyes then rested on the female of the group, his eyes glared down upon the logo she wore upon her chest before they raised back to her eyes. Being the Prince of the Saiyan race Athren was quite curious about the things going on around his home planet that he wasn't aware of. Seven years have gone by and he didn't have a clue to how their war fronts were going, he hadn't the slightest idea if they were holding their own or losing ground completely. Hopefully this female had all the answers he was looking for, if she didn't he'd have to find out from another source. Than again, he didn't know for seven years. Another seven wouldn't hurt, right? ~Alright, Let's see what she knows and let's see if she's willing to cooperate with this...~ His thoughts ran through his head, though they were 'enemies' Athren had high hopes. Maybe she could look past that and inform him of everything, if she didn't he'd understand why though he'd forcefully get it from her then. Maybe she wouldn't tell him due to loyalty to her superiors or just a pure hatred for her saiyan opponents, Athren really didn't know how this was going to play out.~Alright Athren, Play it civil at first. Hostile tones if she refuses to answer..~ That was the game plan and that's how he'd see it all through.
Now that he had a solid game plan in mind Athren began to speak, his tone would have been quite pleasant and soft to insure she understood that he wasn't going to be hostile with her. As he began to speak his arms crossed snugly against his chest. "It's odd to see a Planet Trade Soldier on Earth, Mind telling me what you're doing out here? I would have guessed you're a scout but you're attitude with those police tell me otherwise." Athren would have paused for a brief second to allow her to take his words in, his next question was going to be a little bit more broad about his homes situation. "I also wish to know everything you know about the conflict with Planet Vegeta, has it come to an end yet? Is either side making any significant advances? What the hell is going on? I've got to know." With this, it would have been obvious that he was clueless and eager to know. Not only that but it would have been a huge indication to her that he hadn't been on the Planet Vegeta for years, hopefully though she'd understand his clueless situation and help him out. If she didn't, he'd force her too but he honestly didn't want it to come to that. Currently, it appeared she had numbers on her side. These male warriors had appeared to be the type to fight for what was right, for 'justice'. Of course this was just Athren's assumption as they helped her for absolutely no reason at all, as far as he could see anyway. During Athren's time with the three, he'd continue to look for any kind of hostile tones or actions, he wanted to be fully prepared for what could potentially come his way. He didn't need any kind of sucker punch hitting him for that would make him temporarily vulnerable, and if it DID come down to a fight he wouldn't want to be overwhelmed before he could remove his weights. For now, the young saiyan Prince would have to play it by ear and see what events would happen. Word Count: 1,002 Total Word Count: 2,011
The man said that the saiyan was just covering their escape, and with a puzzled expression, Frayne looked back towards the giant mess and saw that… No one died! And that was quite impressive and, at the same time, made no sense whatsoever! Why would a saiyan spare those earthlings if he had the power to obliterate them?! The brenchian woman gulped and allowed the strong man to continue guiding her through the human city. Then, after they got away from the area, he spoke again, like if he was trying to break the ice. Frayne nervously nodded just once. – I… I just got here… On this planet, I mean. – she admitted and then sighed, showing clears signs of stress.
Then, out of the blue and faster than even a normal brenchian could be, the saiyan appeared again. Frayne immediately tensed up and frowned her brows, gritting her teeth as she stared at the saiyan in front of her. He didn’t waste any time and asked what a member of the Planet Trade Organization was doing on Earth. – I’m here on an important mission to find a criminal! I have no business with any saiyan or your Empire or Alliance! – she said in a harsh tone, but a good observer could see that she was more nervous than angered, and that was the source of her tone. Then, he asked about planet Vegeta, and it didn’t take a lot of her brains to realize that he was away from his home, the Empire, for a while. Frayne gulped again and a drop of sweat ran down her forehead and she quickly wiped it with the back of her white glove.
– Your planet is in serious trouble! Your civil war did plenty of damage. And you are losing territory as fast as rain falls! So I will warn you not to attack me, or I will send a distress signal right away! And reinforcement of the Planet Trade Organization will arrive in no time! – she barked. She was shaking a little bit. He wasn’t madly strong, but he was more than strong enough to defeat her. But she could still use her skills and run away.
