A frustrated Saiya-jin hybrid grumbled as he sat in front of the open panel to his new ship's communications panel. He'd been toiling on this ship, the Carvalac, since he'd bought the old clunker from a junkyard on Earth. It was quite beat up when he'd gotten it. Still had nice capacity for passengers. So he spent a few weeks, replacing parts, and adding a few new ones onto the ship.
Originally, the ship had been a Namekian ship left on Earth by a lone Namek, who legend would have it would go on to become a Kami. Carva wasn't sure if he'd believed that or not, but he knew one thing. He could make it better. He'd started with extensive body work, using a grinder to smooth down the spikes coming out of the top of the ship. He'd replace them with two fins on the back, black jet fins to match the black racing stripes going from the cockpit window and down the back. He'd shined the old clunker up like a well tuned muscle car and even went as far as to add some after market parts.
But for the life of him, he couldn't get that damned communications radio working! His frustration was quite high at thus point as he tried a different routing of wires. Still no signal. He grumbled.
"What's wrong, Mista C?" He'd hear her voice behind him, sweat pouring down his forehead as he toiled with the radio. Aphradite...her scent was amazing. Lilacs and gooseberries. As he turned around, he'd see his concubine standing in the doorway of the Carvalac. Carva would drool, for she was dressed for summer...a barely there bikini.
Carva shook off his initial thoughts and grunted. "I can't get this damned thing to work! This radio is pissin' me off! I connect this thing to this thing and still, not-"
She would saunter over to the console and flick her firey red hair from her face, removing a set of black, thick rimmed glasses from her cleavage. "Ummm...you forgot to turn the power on, it looks like..." she said, flicking the switch on the console. The power would hum, and at first...there would be nothing but static...annoying static. "...hold on. Just let me...adjust this..."
Zzzzzzzzzz....sssssss....Nas-.....Brench...zzzzz....sssssss
As distracting as he voluptuous curves were for Carva, he couldn't help but hear the name of a planet he'd heard before. Brench. What was it about Brench...why would anyone be concerned with it? Carva stroked his chin in thought..."Who is Nas?"
"I think 'e's a rapper on Earth, Mista C!" The bubbly Heran replied with a huge smile, bouncing a bit.
Carva narrowed his eyes, focusing on the task at hand. He waved his large hand. "Aphra, see if you can get a better signal. I've a feeling there is more to this than meets our ears."
She nodded her head, glasses sliding down her petite nose. The girl turned the knobs a bit more, and got and bit more out of the transmission.
Zzzzzz...we need stealth...and manpower...ssssszzzzz....Lord Nasu....zzzzz...Brench....zzzzzzz....SAIYAN GALACTIC EMPIRE!
"Hrm....Saiya-jin Galactic Empire? And who's Lord Nasu?" He narrowed his eyes in thought, his curiosity peaking. This Saiyan Galactic Empire and Lord Nasu...could they be beneficial in his quest for power? His curiosity was killing him and he shot a look at Aphra. "We're going to Brench."
"But why?" She tilted her head, side ponytail falling to the ....side.
"Because, it sounds like there is some sort of war going on, and I'd like to find out more about this Saiyan Galactic Empire. Maybe find a place to make my name....how bad could it be? Pack the mansion, and put some clothes on. We're going on a road tr-"
"-but Carvy, this ship fl-"
"Dammit woman, stop yapping and do as I say!"
And so she would follow her Master's orders and pack their things in capsules. Upon returning, the ship's boosters would roar to life, and blast off into the Earth's atmosphere! Off to Brench they go! Will Carva join the darkside?!
