Kuuyomi awoke in the most graceful fashion but remained in bed for quite awhile. Staring at the ceiling of her bedroom as her mind began to wander on. Her head filling with the thoughts of her brother Suusao and perhaps the many endeavors he was partaking in throughout the galaxy. He was living the dream her mother once did as a soldier of the Saiyan Alliance, but sadly it was fate that cut her dream short. Losing her arm and eye as well during the Freedom War, but it would have been something to see the woman in action.
The girl turned over to her side as her long blonde hair framed her face peering over at the bed opposite of her own. This marked the five-year anniversary of Suusao's departure from Namek. I hope you are safe Oniisan...I'll be coming to your side again someday...
"Tsukuyomi!!! Come downstairs, I wish to speak with you daughter!"
Just the man's presence, once he entered the home, was enough to startle her. Something did feel a tad bit off, though, and it was the tone of his voice that poked at her curiosity. Slipping off her nightgown the girl covered herself when she heard her father beginning to ascend the stairs. "Tsukuyomi. Are you dressed?" For a man well over his fifties, he certainly was nimble when it came to moving up and down those stairs. The blonde haired child approached her room door, in a more decent fashion than nude, and opened it to allow her father to enter.
"FATHER!?! What is this you are wearing?!?" The girl's golden colored eyes sparkled as the girl marveled at her father. Even though her question went unanswered the man proceeded inside, and following close behind was her mother. Also dressed in attire much different than the usual, and it would be safe to assume that there was trouble. Perhaps they'd found out about her DNA splicing experiment she'd been doing, "Now before you two try punishing me I have a reasonable explanation for those flying frogs."
Her father blinked showing that he hadn't the slightest care for whatever experiments she'd done. Meanwhile, her mother, on the other hand, was already glowing red in the face. "I'm going to shut up now..." The girl sat down on her bed folding her legs over and prepared for whatever lecture her parents had cooked up for her. "Tsukuyomi. Your mother and I have come to an agreement. That would be that perhaps it may be the time that you join your brother on Earth. It has been quite some time since the two of you were together." The girl's face was already overflowing with an expression she hadn't felt for years. Happiness. It was almost too good to be true that her father had finally given her permission to unite the two siblings again.
That was when the girl's scientific intuition had begun to kick in. The same intuition that caused her to question every single thing in life. Why now all of a sudden? The girl thought to herself before asking her father the obvious question, "Mother what has happened to Suusao." The woman's eyes turned away as she slowly began to tear up, and given the girl's better judgment she was right. Though it seemed her mother wasn't too much of a train wreck, even with tears in her eyes, "We would like you to go to Earth and take care of your brother. You are my daughter and I know you better than anyone. I am sorry that it took me so long to understand that you two depend on one another, but that you are more than capable of taking care of yourself. Even at your age, I know you will be just fine." The woman's mouth broke into a smile as she held her father's hand, and the tears still fell down her face.
The girl's father however still with a stern look on his face as always, and she relied on her father to decipher her mother's words. "As much as it pains me to admit this Tsukyomi. It would appear that my judgement was a poor one when I sent your brother away to Earth. On my most recent trip to observe your brothers actions there, he'd managed to get himself into some trouble with a Demon Fledgling." The girl's eyebrow raised at the sound of fledgling and remembered precisely that her father referred to as such before once.
The former demon lord reached into a pocket hidden within the chest plate of his armor. Removing something that was pill shaped as he tossed it towards the girl's side. The pill was actually a capsule made by the only company capable of producing such things, Capsule Corporation. It would appear to be a Spacepod, but this was obviously a newer model. The one Suusao departed in once belonged to their mother, and so this must have meant her Father went out of his way to interact with humans to acquire this. It was a big shift in personality for sure, but why all of a sudden she wondered.
"I've already programmed the ship for Earth's coordinates, and your mother has packed you dinner for the trip to Earth." The older man said, and it looked almost as if he cracked a smile. Well at least a crooked one from what she could tell, but again before she had the opportunity to speak on any of this her mother began, "When you get to Earth and find your brother the two of you be sure to come back and visit us okay."
"Mother. Father. I'm glad you two finally came to see things logically. I mean it's about time that you let me be free. I wonder what that dimwit brother of mine did to get on the wrong side of a demon." The girl had a habit of speaking with little to no filter and no regards for subtlety. Though before her parents could say anything she baited them to follow her outside, and she would press the button on the capsule before tossing it. The spacepod hit the ground with a slight thud, and the girl was actually fond of this model of ship. Her parents stood behind her both it seemed were hurt to see their youngest child leave but also relieved to know that both of their children would be just fine. The girl stepped over into the pod waving off to her parents, and the engine began to rev as it began to levitate from the ground slightly.
The girl was most impressed by this particular pod, and that was only because of the many games that were installed within. Most of the games installed on the pod were of the strategic and tactical variety, and it was by coincidence that she enjoyed these genres. As the pod levitated in front of her parent's home it would seem to need to self-program itself. A voice from within the pod had also begun to speak to the blonde haired child, "Passenger of Pod: Kuuyomi Yukimura. Confirmed. The Owner of Pod: Kuuyomi Yukimura. Confirmed. Destination: Planet Earth. Confirmed. Initiating takeoff in 10. 9. 8. Countdown Override. Confirmed." The girl obviously had become annoyed as she began tampering with the controls of the ship, and applied her own personal settings to the pod. The pod blasted off into the bright green sky of New Namek.
I'm coming for you Oniisan. Let's see how much you have changed.
