It was early morning and the young saiyan royalty had found himself in his bed tucked in nicely, he had quite a rewarding sleep as his efforts of the day prior were quite intense. Yesterday he had managed to master the twenty times gravity level and strained himself a little bit in the process. It was a very time consuming task that took pretty much the whole day though it was part of the bigger picture. Athren needed to build himself to one hundred times gravity for he was positive that, that setting would be enough to push him over the boundries and send him rocketing right into super saiyan territory. Of course, he wasn't fully aware of all the minor details to the transformation. Such as the emotional trigger for example. Currently, Athren hand his head rested upon his hands which rested upon his pillow. He stared up through the darkness at the ceiling of his room, it was a blank slate, dark grey in color that matched a majority of the interior in his ship. He was lost in thought once more. Once more the young warrior began to invision himself as a super saiyan. He saw himself standing proudly in figure. His eyes a fear inspiring shade of turqoise, his hair, aura, everything golden. Blah, it was such a beautiful thing. It was something that Athren was becoming obsessed with. He needed to achieve that goal, he needed too. There wasn't anything that was going to stop him neither. He wouldn't allow anything to get in his way from him and his goal. Though it was kind of funny, there had been stages past super saiyan and Athren knew of them. The one fighter than had participated in killing his mother had apparently been a super saiyan three. In the long run, Surely Athren would go for that. He would become the most powerful saiyan in the universe and do as he pleased. Oh, that would be incredible. He couldn't help but picture where he'd be when he had that kind of power. Would he be somewhere on Earth training as he was now or would he be sitting upon another planet and do as he pleased without anybody bothering him? He couldn't figure it out. He knew for a fact that he'd never go for the throne, that would just be a huge distraction for him. He didn't need that in his life, all that would do is make him focus on the planet more than his own training. It would work against him in every single way. He couldn't allow that to happen. He couldn't help but get another mental picture in his head. What if he had decided to go with the path that Atsuko had suggested, what if he'd begin to help people with the power he would achieve? Would the people of Earth look to his golden figure and see a hero? Would he be worshipped? Athren didn't know, if he did happen to take that route he knew he wouldn't want to be any kind of celebrity. He'd want to do his own thing with few knowing about him. Even if he decided to help the planet and save it, he'd only want few knowing. It was kind of funny how he wanted to keep to himself all the damn time.
Though it got lonely from time to time, the young prince didn't want anybody slowing him down from his goal. It was a damn shame though, he didn't really get to have any fun or live at all. He was living a life that was dedicated to one purpose.
Regardless of all of that, Athren attempted to change his mindset on what he planned to do today in the thirty times gravity, he knew that he had a few techniques in his mind that he wouldn't of said no in trying to learn but he also had one massive flaw that he needed to take care of. Currently, the saiyan's tail was still a weakness for him. It wasn't something he could continue to accept, he couldn't just sit there and allow himself to be defeated by such a pathetic weakness. He needed to train it before the day came where it was used against him. He could see it coming from a mile away, the day of his death would have involved his tail being grabeed. Considering he was a warrior, that would have been one of the most pathetic ways to go out. He'd literally have been helpless in that situation. There wasn't a chance in hell he'd go out that way, he could prevent it from happening. All he needed to do was put a good days effort into training up his tail. Though, before he'd move onto that he'd have to get settled in to the thirty times gravity that was bound to show him quite a difficult day. Athren had debated on getting up to get started, he was only a breakfast and change of outfit away from getting started on his intensive training. Though, he decided to take a couple more minutes in bed to think things over. He enjoyed this, laying around alone with nobody bothering him. All these thoughts were free to run around his head without somebody elses voice getting in the way of it all. It was truthfully peaceful. It was relaxing, Athren actually took this moment for what it was worth. It was something he needed to enjoy, currently he had spent all his time training or being annoyed by others. This was a very nice change of pace, a moment in time where Athren could search his thoughts to find what he truly wanted to do with his life. He tried to answer the question of what he wanted to do after becoming a super saiyan yet it was something he couldn't manage to answer. There wasn't anything, sure. He knew he'd want to hit the next tier after super saiyan but what the hell would it all mean without an actual purpose? It would've been a frustrating thought if he wasn't enjoying the peace and quiet. "Damn it Athren.." He mumbled lightly to himself as a faint smirk crossed his face. "You're going to be one of the most feared being in the universe yet you can't figure out what you want to do with your life? Gah, You're pathetic at times." With that being said, the young warrior sat up in his bed. His thoughts were getting to be a little bit much and it was time to move on with his daily tasks. It was time to get to work, he enjoyed the quiet for long enough but it wasn't building himself up to the next level. It wasn't getting him to his super saiyan level. He needed to work really hard at that and put plenty of time in if he wanted to see that goal through and there wasn't a better time to get started. He had a good sleep and he had some good thoughts running through his head, he felt motivated to do it! Plus, he wanted to challenge the might of the gravity at thirty times regular! It would surely be an exciting and beneficial day! He couldn't wait to get started! The struggle against twenty times was massive, he couldn't imagine what thirty times would be like! Surely it'd be difficult to withstand and more importantly, more beneficial to the young saiyan's motives!
Finally, Athren set his feet upon the ground at the bottom of his bed and sprang up from it. He walked over to his closet and began to root through to find his gear. It didn't take him very long and before one would know it Athren was fully suited up in his casual attire, this included his heavy weighted gear and his beautiful green scouter. He gave himself a quick look in the mirror and nodded his head. He was happy to look at what he had turned into. He wasn't necessarily weak and he could deal with countless issues himself. He also wasn't following his mothers footsteps and becoming his own man, which was amazing. He was proud of himself for picking his own path in life, even if it meant that a majority of the saiyans that he was destined to rule would frown upon him and judge him negatively for it. Hell, If any decided to speak up against his actions chances were that he was going to blast them into oblivion. He wouldn't stand for any insults regarding how he wanted his own life to play out, he wasn't under anybody's rule. He was his own man, and he was going to prove that to the universe. Especially when he shined as a super saiyan, boy. Would he be feared and respected. It would be a beautiful moment when he hit his goal and the young fighter couldn't wait. Step by step Athren had decided to walk into the kitchen, he decided to have a nice meal that lasted about an hour. He stuffed his face full of a little bit of everything, he was non stop when it came to eating. The worst part was preparing it himself though once he felt full, he was prepared and ready to take on his daily assignment. Though hopefully he wouldn't have any blasted distractions, he honestly couldn't stand when something or someone had put a pause onto his desired training methods. It was something that had required full attention, he couldn't afford to put it off.
Athren took a moment to sit on the kitchen stool for a few minutes, though some may have thought it to be quite funny, he simply wanted to give his stomach some time to react with the crazy amount of food he decided to shovel down in such a short period of time. Last thing he wanted to do was get hard into training and have to throw up or take breaks to hit the restroom. He wanted to be fully prepared to have a nonstop training fest that would hopefully last the course of the day. When Athren trained he didn't want any distractions, from the second he starts to the minute he finished. He didn't enjoy taking little breaks here and there, he would eat once he was finished and try to take care of his hygiene after it was all said and done. There wasn't a chance in hell he'd stop training in the middle of a sesson unless he absolutely had too. He wasn't the only one, plenty of saiyan warriors had that same mindset. Regardless of all this though, Athren was more stubborn than the average saiyan and maybe even a slight bit more proud. This was most likely due to his royal blood. He had a right to be more proud, he wasn't a low class, nor was he an elite. He was in a league completely of his own. Surely, that gave him more of a prideful attitude. He was supposed to be the prince after all. Even if he rejected the spot, he couldn't change whom his mother was or the royal blood pumping through his veins. After a little while of sitting around, Athren once again rose to his feet. He tossed all of his used dishes in the dishwasher and turned it on. Once that had been finished he began to make his way towards the elevator that would take him down to his own training paradise. It didn't take him very long to reach the elevator pad, once he did the young warrior pressed the down arrow, once he did it began to lower him and it didn't stop until it had fit flush with the bottom floor. He was once again in the perfect training location, it was here that he'd accomplish a full days worth of work. Though it may have been a hobby or even an obsession that the young prince had, it wasn't always fun. Some days it felt like work when others it felt like so much more. Regardless of how he felt about a days training it was always something so beneficial for him. It was always something that would push him to his hopes and dreams, it was always something that would help him achieve his golden glow, his super saiyan status, his birthright. It was just a matter of time until it was his, until his dream was a reality! He just needed to keep doing what he was doing and never quit, he refused to lose! He refused to let this be an unreachable dream! He was the saiyan prince, he was his mothers son! He was the best of the best! It was all within reach! He wouldn't fail! He couldn't fail! His motivation sparked massively, he was undefeatable! He just needed to put all this motivation into proper effort and action!
Athren took a handful of steps away from the lift pad, he figured he'd start his training the same way he always did. He came to the conclusion that stretches were always the best way to warm himself up for the brutal beating to come. If he had stretched before his training there was a higher chance that he wouldn't damage himself. Last thing he needed was to damage himself greatly and postpone all of the future trainings that were to come. This was a daily thing, well. With the exception of gravity anyways. Athren knew his body couldn't take gravity on a daily basis, especially since his body was still trying to adapt to higher levels of it.
Therefore, every other day he avoided gravity and went outside to do natural gravity training. It wasn't as beneficial to him but it was still something that didn't hurt to do. It gave his body time to recover while he lightly played around. Getting started with his stretches Athren brought his right foot up to his rear, he reached back to grab his foot tightly. While he did this he remained balanced on his single foot that stayed planted on the ground. He held his foot for about a minute before swapping to his left foot and repeating the situation. Once both legs were done in that fashion Athren moved to his neck. He began to rotate it around, from tight, little circles to wide, large ones. He didn't move his neck too quickly for he didn't want to strain it. He kept everything at a nice, slow, even pace. After his neck was finished, Athren would've began to rotate his right arm around in circles, once that was finished Athren proceeded to do the same with his left. He spent about ten minutes stretching, he stretched every single part of his body that he could think of. In fact, if he had a stretch in mind for it, he did it. He had put a little bit more time and effort into his legs and arms as they had been worked the most during these sessons and those were the last things he'd want to see damaged by simple neglect, without those limbs training would be nearly impossible to evenly distrubute around his body. When Athren trained, he tried to keep everything on the even side of things, he tried to do so many reps with his right arm and then proceed to do the same amount with his left, it was simple logic and he didn't find a need to try and change it up any, nor did he want to risk losing that method over stupidity.
Now that he had finally completed his stretches, Athren had believed it was time to get started with the gravity machine, he felt as if his body was prepared for it and he knew that he was mentally prepared for all the stress that was about to come. He thought to himself about the days prior where he struggled with the twenty times gravity. It was no simple feat and that was a damn fact, it was one of the hardest things he had ever struggled against to accomplish and now he was going a stage above it. Damn, he must have been a special kind of crazy to try it but he was determined. He knew that he had to keep a level head to continue to push against the oncoming challenge, he couldn't lose his focus and become angry or stress himself out, if he did that he'd be too negative on himself and begin to fail. He was his worst enemy in this type of training and he needed to be damn sure that he wouldn't let that happen. He needed to keep himself motivated with positive thoughts, he needed to continue to believe he would pull it off, he couldn't say no. He pictured how much this would do to him physically and he expected to be quite sore the next day, it wasn't something that he looked forward too but he accepted the fact that it was the consequence for the rewards it gave him. In all honesty, this machine was kind of cheating the system. It allowed him to make use of a small area to get massive gains to his strength. Though, he wasn't exactly going to complain about that small fact. Finally speaking up Athren decided it was time to turn on the gravity, his words were spoken in a tone of confidence. "Gravity, Active at Thirty Times Regular." With that being said it didn't take very long for Athren to feel the effects kicking in, he heard the robotic voice echoing throughout the room as it confirmed that it was turned on. It was time for things to get quite difficult yet again. Could the young saiyan pull it off? Damn right he could, why? Because he believed he could! There wasn't anything in this ship that could defeat him.
Now that the gravity had been activated Athren had to follow the same procedures he did during his times twenty session. His body felt like it was going to collide with the ground, he felt a intense pressure on every single muscle in his body. "Graaa.." He groaned and grunted as it took him everything he had to do a simple task such as standing. Who would've though, a saiyan warrior struggling to stand as a training start? It was quite hilarious if one were to actually take a large step back and simply look at it. Before Athren had bought his ship and had no access to a gravity chamber, he never would have imagined standing being a chore in a training session. "I'm not going to let this beat me! I'm BETTER THAN THAT!" Athren yelled out at the top of his lungs, he needed to keep his motivation very high. It was very easy to be broken down by himself if he began to have doubts within himself. He wouldn't allow that to happen. There wasn't a chance in hell. He needed to keep looking towards the bigger picture.
If he gave up, his dream of becoming a super saiyan wouldn't happen. That was his reason to push on, that was his motivation to never quit on himself! He needed to continue to push past all these obsticles that blocked his path! He was a saiyan warrior, he was royal blood! He could do it! It took about an hour of him standing on the spot before he decided an attempt at walking around. Surely it was going to be much harder than it had looked. He spread his arms out in an attempt to help balance himself out in case he were to need it. He brought his right foot up in the air about an inch and began to hover it across the floor to a position in front of him, as slowly as he could he had set it down. His foot hit the floor with a loud thud, though he had tried to put it down gently, he simply couldn't muster the ability to do so. The gravity had still been massively overwhelming. Walking wasn't going to be an easy task.
As time went by Athren found himself progressing around the room faster and faster. Though he'd still only be walking, maybe a speed walk at the most. Another few hours had progressed by and Athren had still been making progress, this time around he went from barely managing to speed walk all the way to a light jog. He was bound and determined to beat this thing. He didn't stop, he didn't take any breaks. He continued to keep hammering out the laps. His goal was simple, get adapted to the gravity to actively perform his normal training and work out routines. It wasn't exactly much to ask for but it was taking a lot of work to get to that point. It was brutal! Finally, after a couple more hours had passed Athren had adapted to the gravity. At least on a basic level. He could sprint around freely as he pleased without having to fight against anything. By this point in time, he was already in pain. His whole body ached from the severe punishment it had just gone through. Surely he'd need a good rest after today was finished, even though there had still been a handful of hours of training that needed to be completed. For a brief moment, Athren had found himself catching a breather. This was before he swapped to his workout routines. He fully intended to hit up the chin up bar and the weights fully. Just as usual. Firstly, Athren had found himself at his chin up bar. In all honesty it was one of his favourite work out tools in the whole ship. It was quite funny due to how simple it was. It was literally just a solid metal bar that stretched four feet long. Quickly, he leaped up against the gravity and gripped the bar firmly. He began to pull himself up until his chin reached just over the bar, the gravity made it difficult though. It had felt like his whole body had been sucked down by a large vacume. It wasn't pleasant, especially with the soreness that already lingered within Athren's body. One after the other, Athren continued to do chin ups. Another hour had gone passed by this point and Athren's chin up count was extremely high. It was the most he had done in a single session in the gravity before. Finally, he released the bar and dropped to his feet. At the moment he had himself a crazy idea. When he lay in bed this morning he had a goal of training his tail to make it immune to being grabbed. Now, there was a basic issue with that. He didn't have anybody around to help him with that by grabbing it. Not only this, but even if he did he would refuse to have them see him at his most vulnerable. That was just something he wasn't going to allow to happen. As he peered over to the weight rack, he got a crazy, yet foolish idea. It was stupid enough to work but very risky. He knew that to train a tail, he had to work through the pain. He didn't recall anybody telling him how to properly do it though so he was on his own. His mind came up with some stupid ideas, but this one was going to be the icing on the cake.. Work through the pain they say, hell. If he managed to work through this, he'd be lucky.
Athren's idea was a simple one, yet it would've been very challenging to overcome. Considering the young prince had no help to train his tail he wasn't left with very much choice. He had reached out for a fifty pound weight and grabbed it with his right hand, he lifted it up slowly and smirked lightly. He couldn't believe he was about to do this, it was unreal. It could've very well been his own suicide if he couldn't muster up the strength to fight this. His idea was simple, put his tail on the ground and put the weight on it. This would cause it to pinch against the floor and have the same pain and stun factor that it would have as if it were grabbed by an actual person.
It would replicate everything he'd need to be able to fight through the pain and resist it. When he would finally resist it, he'd simply be able too take the weight off. It was a basic concept, he just didn't know if he had the tools to do it. He didn't know if he could resist it and adapt to it. It was all just a wild card that had been drifting in the breeze. Regardless, he had to try. If he couldn't muster up the courage or strength to get out of the mess he was about to put himself into, he was better off dead. He was the saiyan prince, he was royal blood and that of a rank beyond even the most elite warriors. He couldn't accept his tail to defeat him, he wouldn't. It was impossible. Of all the saiyan warriors in the universe, he was the damn best. Without a doubt. At this moment in time Athren wouldv'e slowly sat himself on the floor, he stretched out his legs to their full extent to insure that he wouldn't end up losing his balance. Last thing he'd want to do his face plant the ground in his state of weakness. Once on the ground Athren had stretched his tail straight out behind him, his right hand hovered over it as he gently went to set the weight down on his tail. Once Athren had let the weight go he had almost instantly regretting his decision, he was stunned and completely in pain. The pain had felt as if it started on the pinch point of his tail and vibrated all the way to every single inch of his body and at the moment he was completely helpless to move, it just wasn't something he was capable of doing. Hell, he couldn't even talk if he wanted too. Time had seemed to be going slower than ever, for hours on end Athren had been stuck there, paralized. His whole body aching from the immense pain that was brought upon him by his own stupidity. Though he continued to struggle against it, he wasn't having much luck. It wouldn't be until another few hours had gone by that he was able to block out the pain. His secret behind it was his mindset. At first, the pain was too much to bear, but once his body had gotten adapted to it. It was all in his thinking, you see. Athren started to believe that it didn't hurt, it had taken quite a bit of time to do so, but he convinced himself that his tail wasn't a weakness, and that the pain wasn't actually there. He managed to master the tail and ignore the pain. Even though it took more time than he hoped, he managed to pull it off! He no longer had to worry about it being grabbed in the middle of combat, with that being done. Athren moved his right hand over to pull the weight off his tail. "About damn time." He mumbled to himself with a slight smirk on his face. He was proud of himself and pretty damn impressed he managed to pull that off, especially in the massive gravity that was being hammered upon him. It was an impressive feat, surely. Though, now that it had been finished Athren believed it was time to call it a night. He had been in this room since early morning and it was time for bed, he desperately needed to rest after the brutal beating his body had taken today. Surely, there would be more to come. Yet, he couldn't wait for it to happen. Things were finally looking up for him. Step by step, he continued to reach his ultimate goal. He'd be a super saiyan alright, he knew that for a fact. At this very moment Athren had begun his walk to the lift to go up to the main level, on the way he opened his lips once more. "Gravity, Deactivate." Upon Athren's command the gravity machine shut itself down. The weight off his shoulders lifted away and Athren had felt like a feather. When he reached the lift Athren's finger reached out to push the button. Once he did the lift began to rise. At the moment the young fighter was struggling to stand, he was completely exhausted. He couldn't understand how his body was that sore, it was like he hadn't ever trained a day in his life before. It was a pleasant burn though, it was a rewarding one. No matter how much it hurt, he was pleased with what it was going to do for him. It didn't take very long but Athren had eventually found himself in the comfort of his nice warm bed, tonight he didn't even bother to shower. He had a hard time walking as it is, he didn't want to be on his feet for any longer than he had too. He just wanted to lay his head down on that nice, soft, pillow and sleep. That's what was going to happen and he wasn't wasting anymore time to do it. The young fighters eyes closed and he passed out just like that.. Easy.. Surely he'd have dreams about his super saiyan figure again, he always did it just kept him more motivated each time he woke up. It was something that was good for him.
