about Tundra
Tundra has many cons; incomplete form, technique, and anger, all of which somehow are his pros too.
The Kold Demon would touch down on the planets surface, eager to explore the planet after much boring space travel, albeit he could have found a better place to land, this place was desolate. No wait, something more then desolate, regardless he had no intention of remaining a sitting duck, he had better things to do. For example, find someone who knows more about this planet then he does. Tundra would then close his eyes, surveying the location through his ki sense before he notices, something, maybe someone, he's unsure but well, anything's better then nothing.
Tundra would float upwards, ki elevating himself as he reaches a height in which mountains and other debris on the ground won't slow him down. As soon as he reached the altitude where he wanted to be, he'd burst into a dash, ki coating himself as he flies through the air to the location, hail would fly into his eyes at this speed, frustrating but not exactly the worst thing he had to endure these past few months, and well, if he was going where he hopes he is, he'll have something interesting to make up for it. As he slowly began to reach where he was sensing the Ki, he flew down to the ground, walking the rest of the way, he certainly doesn't need to fight the first person he meets on this planet, so a friendly introduction would be far more tactical.
Shira had been all the way over in Satan City when he got the call from his mother. Her satellite had picked up the approaching spacecraft a few hours in advance - giving the Earthling warrior enough time to head on over and scout ahead. The ship wasn't recognized by their satellite as one that had come before - which can only mean that whoever it was was new to this planet. Shira didn't know what to think. The fact that it was only one ship meant that either a visitor or refugee had come to this planet, or that a tyrant with incredible power was confident enough to take the planet by himself. The fact that there was only one ship most likely meant that it wasn't a threat, but you could never know for sure. He didn't necessarily have a problem with aliens, though they made him apprehensive to say the least. He had seen their powers first hand for himself, and it had been scary indeed. Suusao alone had been enough to scare him, and that boy was "one of the better" ones! At the world martial arts tournament he had seen the prime of the Saiyans himself, Nasu, fight against another species. See was the wrong term actually, for Shira could not even track the fight at all! The whole experience had been enough to scare him, as their energies were so strong that it stunned the poor Earthling in its immensity.
The black-hooded teen couldn't sense anything too troubling about the presence that arrived on the planet. It's power level was comparable to his own, which meant it wasn't exactly the most powerful of creatures. Of course he took into consideration that it could be capable of hiding its power level, just as he had once learned. But the scenario seemed most unlikely. Suppressing his energy and hiding behind a glacier, Shira decided to wait a few moments before making himself known. It would be best to survey the specimen for a bit before trying to engage it...

about Tundra
Tundra has many cons; incomplete form, technique, and anger, all of which somehow are his pros too.
Although Tundra was close to the location of which he sensed the energy, all the sudden it just... Dropped, "Huh..." Tundra said out loud, deep voice bellowing into the cold wind, quite confused as to what just happened, "Wait, no, they could possibly be suppressing their energy..." Despite the realization of what happened, he still doesn't know why that happened, he assumed that there may be an ambush being set up, or the person could have ran away, no, they'd be going too fast for that. Although despite the fact the energy he sensed likely wouldn't be much of a threat, he still wanted to stay on his guard.
Electing to go back into flight, he surveyed the ground below him, trying to pin point where he was first sensing the energy, where he could find his possible assaulter. Hopefully, he won't need to fight, though he won't lie, last time he did it, it was quite fun. "Alright!" He'd announce to the ground under him, "I am Tundra! A Kold Demon! If you continue to hide I will assume you have hostile intentions! Do not make me believe so, come on out!" He'd look sternly around the ground under him, trying to pinpoint anything that didn't look quite right.
[Thanks for going with it. I was supposed to list the suppression at the bottom of the post as it was described in the post. But forgot. XD]
Shira wasn't quite sure what to do here. The Kold Demon was being defensively hostile for no reason. He should have lowered his ki sooner. That's what he got for being careless with his presence! The human sighed, as he began taking off his jacket. He loved this damn thing, but he wasn't sure what to be expecting with this guy. He could be trouble. Especially with the way he was acting. He would prefer however to avoid hostilities if it could be done. By showing himself he was hopefully disarming the alien's anger. By removing the jacket however he was making his full power accessible. He wasn't one to be messed with.
This was admittedly his first time encountering a "Kold Demon". And he didn't have any background knowledge on them in his archives. Their race had had little contact with the Humans in the past few decades - living him with little knowledge to work with. The Earthling was confident in his own abilities that he could at least escape if this got violent - if not overwhelm the lad with his martial prowess. Shira wasn't exactly a pushover himself. He was sure he could handle whatever came his way.
Floating on over to the Kold Demon - the teen stood there hovering in the air with his arms crossed. "Hello, Kold Demon. My name is Shira Yoshida. May I ask for what reason you're visiting our dear planet today?"

Tundra would give a grin to the boy, his aged face being especially emphasized, every curve being blatantly visible, "Thanks" to his 2nd form, "Ah, good, I was worried the first one I'd have to meet would be the one I had to kill." He'd say, raising his power level in an act of intimidation, Tundra's face was easy to see despite hail raining around them, his nose pointed down, eyes narrow, and a smile that just didn't sit right, "Well, I came to visit, take a vacation, relax, I heard earth food is quite extravagant." He'd say jokingly, giving a small chuckle afterwards, but as soon as the chuckle faded he'd state his proclamation quite bluntly, "Don't worry silly earthling, I'm not here to destroy anything, I came to improve my physique and learn." His eyes would meet Shira's, it was, startling to say anything, "And it so happens earth is quite a hotspot for legends, in all my travels, every seventh planet or so would have a story related to earth, this planet is quite the interesting one."
Suddenly his eyes would shift, beginning to examine Shira, glancing up and down, almost as if he was checking for something, "Amazing." He'd say, previous grim expression lifting, "Your power rivals my own in this state..." He'd look excited, if not giddy. "It may be rude of me to ask such a thing to a complete stranger, but, could we spar? Your power is excellent, no extravagant!" He'd say, enthusiasm only raising, "It'd be a crime to be deprived of a fight like this."

It didn't take long for Shira to realize he didn't like Kold Demons. The arrogance and ego he sensed from this creature was enough to easily aggravate him. The teenaged Earthling logged the personality traits he detected in the being for his own personal database later. It was nice to keep a record of all these things. Shira stood there, passive as ever as the Kold Demon tried to show off its measly power level. "Even if you had- you needn't worry. I wouldn't be easy to kill," he replied confidently in passing, a soft smile on his face as the words left his mouth in a soft, cool tone. Shira knew he didn't stack very high on the food chain - so he understood and accepted that beings with power levels around his own were also not very strong. He yearned to get better and climb up the ranks. He held no illusions about his weakness and what he needed to improve on. But when creatures were around his level - he was confident in his ability to at the very least evade if not deal with them.
The creature claimed to be here on "vacation" - whatever that meant. The teenage boy said nothing however as he floated downward, his sneakers lightly touching the icy landscape. It wasn't an unbelievable answer, but he didn't exactly bite the bait. It could genuinely be true, but he knew better than to believe what others told him without concrete proof. "Well I hope you find our planet hospitable. Just make sure to stay out of trouble," he reminded as he tilted his head, his tone rather serious and... cold. That pun was unintended, the narrator swore.
Noticing the glances up and down - Shira stared back, a raised eyebrow wondering why he was being checked out. Last he heard Kold Demons had no gender, so there was no reason for him to be giving the teen those bedroom eyes. Was there? Though his face remained composed and calm, on the inside he felt himself shuddering with disgust at the mere thought. Suddenly he realized the true source of the creature's expression and attention. The boy's power level was interesting to him. Shira should have guessed. Though he didn't know Kold Demons could sense energy as well, though he supposed there was no reason why they shouldn't. He smiled, but this smile wasn't soft or passive. It was a genuine smirk. "Alright. I'll play with you a bit. Just keep in mind there are fighters way stronger than myself on this planet...," he stated. He had sensed them from time to time, though his ki sense found it hard to locate them as a result of them concealing their presences most of the time.
Taking a martial stance - the teenager bent his knees with his right foot sliding back. His left side facing the Kold Demon as his left arm was raised and extended outward with his elbows bent. His hand curled up into a fist. His right arm tucked at his side and his right hand curled into a tight fist. He was ready whenever.

"Don't worry, I know there's people leagues above me... It just adds to the fun." The demon would say, smiling wide, "I'm quite glad you're enthusiastic as well, this will be my first real fight in years so, do go easy on me." He'd say with a somewhat smug/jokey tone to his voice, his power level would not increase, though it was visible to see the strain in his energy he began to ready himself, Ki concentrated, he'd steel his feet against the ground, hunching over as he focuses his energy. "I aught to warn you however, if you play dirty, I will be inclined to do so as well." His voice would echo with the undertone of focus and excitement, soon, he'd stand up at his full stature, height towering over the boy, "I'm ready."
All in the blink of an eye he'd charge to the boy, aura flying off him, with a quick raise of the leg the Kold Demon would deliver a blow from his knee to the earthling in the right side of their face, the attack was delivered with full intent on knocking the boy back.

Shira said nothing to the Kold Demon's words, letting his smirk speak for itself. He wasn't the dishonorable type. He fought with dignity and grace. He had learned Martial Arts under his father - who had always taught him its disciplines, its codes. Martial Arts was about more than fighting - it was a code of honor as well. By studying it he was trying to become a warrior of Earth. What he did with that power, that responsibility would be up to him - though he knew whatever path he chose would resonate. Actions always did have domino effects, after all. With one action you start a chain for a dozen or so more. He was an Earthling - one of the weakest races in the cosmos. He would do what he had to survive, so long as it did not stain his honor. He watched as the Kold Demon's energy flourished- his ki senses keeping him on alert.
Before he knew it the Kold Demon was charging him. Instinctively the boy hopped backward in the air - allowing his ki to push underneath him and take flight. Charging that same energy in the palm of his hand - he conjured an sufficient blast orb to rush out toward his opponent. The Kold Demon was quick - but Shira was as well. This would be a good contest between the two - their current power levels both fairly close to even. But neither knew how much power the other was hiding inside. For now they were studying each other like two animals circling each other in the forest. Waiting, scanning as each tried to discern one simple question. Who was the Predator? And who was the prey?

He'd be seemingly be impressed, not surprised, but impressed, he flew to the side trying to regain his balance after the missed attack, quickly standing back up ready for any retaliation. Although as soon as he stood up he'd see the Ki Blast that headed straight for him, his senses suddenly jolted up, with a quick wave of his arms, full intention on survival and combat, he'd put his hands upwards attempting to block the orb of energy, although when the explosion of blinding light cleared his arms appeared singed, but still somewhat, if not completely unharmed, "Impressive Ki there." He'd say smiling, soon breaking into a furious yell "Although can it combat the power of a Kold Demon?" With a quick dash backwards he'd put his arm behind himself, energy collecting in the palm of his hand, seconds later he'd yell out "Shatter Bullet!" And would toss the energy projectile towards Shira, the ball upon first glance had massive concentrated energy but was going far to slow, it would be easy to dodge.
In the blink of an eye Tundra would yell, clenching his fist, "Shatter!" And the ball of condensed Ki would break apart all at once, massive shards, fragments of energy and soul launching from it at incredible speeds, despite each fragment being but a fraction of the original, it quickly turned a fight into a test of speed.

Shira could tell that this Kold Demon was one tough cookie. He tanked his ki attack like it was a scratch mark. Duan Yuan always said Shira needed to learn how to channel his ki more effectively. The young teenager had good martial skills and good tactical sense, but when it came to channeling his ki in the form of energy waves he was still admittedly fresh. He had seen Suusao conjure up mighty beams of power before, but the Earthling just couldn't fire something so concentrated. He wondered why that was. Shira contemplated this as his opponent taunted him. His words grinding Shira's gears as he seemed so smug to the teen. "You just wait, Kold Demon. I have some tricks in store for you...,"he thought to himself collectively. There was one trick in particular he had in his back-pocket waiting to be tried. Though it was a risky gambit for sure.
The Kold Demon then fired what appeared to be a large energy blast. Not having the time to debate the action to himself - Shira began to utilize his special bulking technique. His body appeared the same - but you might notice a strange presence about him. As if the air around his shape was slightly distorted. By lowering his mass he allowed himself to move much faster at the cost of physical power. Such a move was risky for it lowered offensive potential, and if he got caught he couldn't counter his opponent as effectively. None of that mattered right now though. He was studying his opponent, and there was no way that the Kold Demon was going to be able to catch him. Especially since he had so much untapped energy waiting to be used as well.
With the incoming ki blast - Shira flew backward in an attempt to put some distance between himself and the attack. At first it seemed painfully slow to him - allowing him to gain quite a headstart. But when the gimmick of the technique was revealed - and the ki broke up and launched itself into strange superfast shards of energy - the Earthling was forced to shift his position to his left side. Maneuvering outside of the scope of the ki shards - the Earthling found himself out of harm's way. "That wasn't a bad attack. I almost broke a sweat dodging it," he taunted, a proud smirk on his face. He was amused with himself for sure. His speed was one of his best traits as a fighter, even when not enhanced. He could dodge attacks way faster than that if he had the energy and stamina for it.
"You're welcome to try again if you prefer. I could do this all day, Kold Demon. I'd recommend stepping up the level of attack though if you plan to hit me."
Yeah. He could be quite mouthy when he wanted to be. But that was all just part of his charm after all. Or what made him such a pain in the ass.

His face would face the ground, eyes staring directly at Shira, the boy was cocky, although his ego was found in reasonable beliefs, his power, his agility, his demeanor was all quite incredible. Although, he debated upon using the next form... No, no need, this wasn't a fight to the death, and with the instability of the form he could accidentally kill the boy, that would not be a happy moment, and he doesn't like to repeat his accidents, "Interesting technique you have there, I was certain my shatter bullet would at least scathe you." He'd smile at him quickly beginning to think, still staring directly at Shira, unexpectedly he'd announce bluntly. "Back off, or this technique may kill you." In the blink of an eye he'd begin to gather energy, veins pulsing on his muscles, "So... If you want a bigger blast, I'll give you one."
His muscles would burst out as he clenches his teeth, energy flowing from his form, electricity jumping across his body as he almost glows with power and determination, "This is my trump card, I promise you, you won't dodge this one." He'd say, pain echoing in his voice, it was quite easy to see this move was not easy to pull off, even his power level would spike above his limits as he continued to gather energy.
He'd stand up straight, floating into the air as his tail trailed behind him, following the movement of the wind, energy radiating off of his carapace, he'd brace his elbows against himself, chest protruded out as he yells loudly, "...HYAAAAAAH!" Suddenly millions of shards flew out of his body, it was different then the other attack, there was much more, too many, far too many, for every millisecond that passed by it seemed to increase exponentially, "SHATTERING BURST!" He certainly wasn't lying.

about Jie Shan Lan Dian
"Quotes are a waste of time. Actions speak louder than words."
Post by Jie Shan Lan Dian on Jun 22, 2017 7:45:43 GMT -5
[Thread PL: 260,210. Base: 520,420/260,210]
The distant din of battle pinged against Jie Shan's mind as he floated over the cold wasteland that he had made his adopted home. The young hybrid cocked an eyebrow as he turned into air to face the source of the energy. Just who could be fighting out here? The young hybird closed his eyes and focused in on the energy, though no answer rose to the surface of his mind; the energy signatures were alien to him. Strangers, no doubt, though the hybrid was not disturbed by this notion. Jis Shan Lan Dian was, of course, the likely alien in the scenario. One look at him would expose him as such. Silver hair with dark eyes and a brown monkey tail wrapped tight around his waist. The latter of those features would expose him as a Saiyan to any knowledgeable fighter. The most Earthling thing about him was his manner of dress at the moment: a light jacket with dark colored fur around the collar and grey jeans with boots to match. Ever since he'd arrived on the planet, Jie Shan had discovered a particular affinity for the native style of dress.
A cold wind blew, tussling his hair and sending a patch of gooseflesh over his body. The blade on his back sat in the small of it, leather and steel between hard trained muscle. His eyes popped open once again, black eyes shying away from the sudden explosion of white and sunlight. The hybrid bit his lip; should he go and investigate? The once-Saiyan Soldier weighed his options. For all purposes, the power of the two fighters in question was nothing special. No, he thought, nothing special by his own standards. But of course, Jie Shan was used to dealing with pseudo-gods and solar system buster tier fighters. For the universe at large, these two fighters might as well be behemoths.
It would be best if he investigated. Were this fight to turn particularly fatal, innocents might be harmed and irreversible damage might be done. And Jie Shan of the Lightning Blade would not allow villainy to run rampant. If that were the case. So, with a sigh, Jie Shan burst through the air like some silvery artillery shell.
It was not long before Jie Shan arrived on the scene and the true nature of the battle was revealed to him: a Kold Demon, sex unknown to Jie Shan as it was always hard to tell, and what seemed to be a human man were going at it, and things seemed to be getting heated. Jie Shan's eyes focused on the Kold Demon in particular: the Saiyan hybrid had little love for what he considered to be overgrown, up-jumped space lizards.
But it did not seem deadly. So for now, Jie Shan would watch, not interfering, though his ki signature would betray his presence. As would his actual presence: Jie Shan did not bother to hide himself, instead floating openly alongside the battlefield.
"Don't mind me, fellas," he called out, "I'm just here to watch."

She had been sitting on the sidelines for so long now, waiting for a morbidly close future that was rapidly approaching her. These visions she had were becoming stronger and stronger as the day came. She already had been making her private preparations in place for what was to for sure come. The rule of heritage going to her next of kin. Of course most of the political fools had no idea of her next of kin. It didn't mean she didn't have some kind of preparation in place however. In fact she was just waiting for the day of arrival for her fate. She would enjoy seeing her mother once more. Seeing her warm caring face. The thought of it brought a simple smile to her face. There was nothing she could do to change the history of her own destiny, but she could at least influence it so they were not completely destroyed by their own greed. Greed, the very thing that had taken down many rulers in the past was going to repeat and take her as well. Not her own greed no, but the greed of others. The true greed that caused nothing but pain. The kind of which she would make sure her next of kin was not to experience.
She had begun to feel some moderately high power levels out in the distance. While she couldn’t help but wonder what they were, she had to manage to sneak away from the watch of everyone and everything to spectate. One of the things she hated about being queen, the constant attention. Luckily she had finally been able to avoid it all. As she watched this fight from a distance, she knew her power level would be noticed, those who would see her, if they were earthlings themselves, immediately able to recognize the kitsune. After all she was the one who had allowed the various races to take refuge here, even a considerable amount of arcosians after their own planet had been attacked. In her term of rule she had made the earth into a neutral world and established free trade here across the galaxy. The earthling’s own technologies vastly improving so. She was happy with the results but she knew those behind the scenes, there were people who did not like how much power she was giving to the lower class now. She couldn’t care less of what they thought, she knew her own future was set in stone. The visions didn’t lie. Not when they were so vivid.
She had noticed her own ki was to get her noticed surely eventually, so she took to arriving near a male with silver hair, contemplating her own white fur. Her face however hidden by an ornate mask on her face, bearing similar to that of a fox itself. Only her eyes visible from the mask as they fitted so perfectly due to her eyes already being fox like for obvious reasons. “I am here as well simply to watch. Feel free to continue this spar of sorts.” She would say before turning towards Jie. “A pleasure to meet you, you are quite strong indeed and that ki is familiar. The presence of two warrior species in you no? Saiyan and elemi, good friends I have made to both species.” She would speak to Jie, while her mask hid her age quite well, her height clearly showed she was indeed young still. A teen possibly? Of course the queen of earth was young but not many knew her age.

Shira smiled as his senses picked up the building energy from the Kold Demon. The teenage boy felt some level of fun from fighting. It was one of the few true thrills he got from this world. Not with death matches obviously. Just the competing in spars and tournaments - trying to test his skill and valor to see if he could overpower someone else. If he could beat someone else. His mother found it crude and barbaric. His father admired it in him. He wasn't quite sure how he was supposed to feel about it. All he knew was he was enjoying this. As his breathing remained steady and composed - Tundra's had hastened somewhat. He could tell the Kold Demon's energy had gone down slightly from that attack. He hadn't expected Shira to be so quick. And by the tone of the Kold Demon's voice - Tundra was getting a little more serious. Shira's smirk faded as he got serious. He took the Kold Demon's words to heart and wouldn't allow himself to get damaged by an attack (or at the very least he would try to minimize the effect it had on him). As he braced himself - he found himself surprised as the Kold Demon fired an impossibly fast and expansive attack. As the shards came to collide into him and cut into him - Shira could do nothing but block the incoming damage as it scathed his shielded body. Gritting his teeth in pain - the teenager came out of the aftermath cut in several places- drips of blood spilling off his arm. His clothes torn - and his face rather annoyed, but reserved and composed.
"That was a hell of an attack, Kold Demon. But you've made one grave mistake. You've left yourself WIDE OPEN!" he shouted as he appeared in front of the Kold Demon with his immense speed in the blink of an eye. With a violently fast uppercut punch he collided his fist right into the creature's jaw! Following up with his right - Shira launched a smashing straight punch deep into the Kold Demon's stomach which would leave him winded, gasping for air. His stunned foe would then find himself at the mercy of a fierce roundhouse kick sending him flying back with Shira right behind him. Flying just above the Kold Demon in his knockback - Shira knocked him into the ground with a backhand punch. This was Shira's Spirit Rush, and it was a devastating technique to get hit by. Luckily for Tundra it would only damage him - as Shira's technique lowered the impact of his blows by conserving his mass. Still - that gambit of his had been costly indeed.
It was then that the others came - spectating their fight. Shira could feel their powers. Both of them were incredibly strong. Thankfully they only wished to spectate the battle. One of them he recognized! "My Queen!" he whispered to himself in shock. The Queen was watching him! Hopefully he did not disappoint her by letting this alien defeat him...The other stranger was unrecognizable, but the sensed energy was also formidable indeed.

The Kold Demon would take heavy breaths, he's only ever had to use that technique once and he certainly wasn't prepared to do it again, in his recklessness he's completely overextended himself and would begin floating in mid-air attempting to catch his breath, as a tired eye glances up to the boy who seemingly also took quite a bit from the attack, he'd give a small grin, "Seems like you couldn't dodge that one..." He'd laugh, voice wavering as his stamina was completely diminished.
His eyes would jolt to where Shira was, suddenly his eyes would light up, goddamn it! He was right. Tundra attempted to brace himself for any retaliation but with a shift of the wind all the sudden the boy would send a fearsome uppercut to the demons face, and was left helpless to endure the entire assault, he'd cough out blood as his body was assaulted with an intense barrage of power, speed, and as much as he'd hate to admit it, skill, as soon as the last hit connected he'd be sent flying to the ground, ice shattering and spreading far from the point of impact.
He'd begin to stand up, "I-Impressive..." He'd say, blood streaming from his wounds into the ground, coloring the ice a crimson red, even his steps stumbling as he attempted to get himself back together, he'd begin to cough, kneeling over as he did so, he'd look up to the boy, he could access his third form and even the battle... No, if he did that, he'd show his figurative hand of cards, "I believe it's fair to say, you've won this round Shira..." He'd cough, attempting to gather himself once more, "I'm glad out of all the people I could have first met on this ball of dirt, it'd be one who could actually throw a punch." It was strange, anyone who saw could tell that he had at least some fight left in him, regardless, he has forfeit the match. He'd fall to the ice, letting his wounds soak in the cold environment, and taking a quick, much needed, rest.
