Liari walked through the Diablo Desert, her hands tucked behind her head, bored out of her mind. As much as she wanted to keep to herself, it sometimes got INCREADIBLY boring doing so... The strong always formed in packs, packs Liari instinctively avoided, leaving her no one to play with. Bah... With no one to test her strength on... What good was it...? She stared off into the golden sands of this wasted, worthless enviornment, her body immune to such extreme temperatures and lack of nutrients... She didn't really require either to survive, not the cool air of the forests nor the refreshing nature of a cool spring. It would be NICE, but she wasn't here for nice... She wanted someone to beat up... and have trouble doing it...
Liari groaned frustrated at finding nothing here, but then... what did she expect? it was a DESERT! Hardly anyone would be here by choice, would they? The hell was she even doing here... The Majin sighed heavily. Slowly rising off the ground in a hover before going higher and higher, deciding that she would no longer take her time in this place. A firey pink aura burst to life around her before she shot off over the sky, the wind howling around her in protest as she picked up speed.
"Rrrrg... Sister..." She grumbled, frustrated. "Why did you have to get lost on a planet like this...?" Of course she blamed Laezi... It was all her fault after all that Liari was trapped in this god-forsaken rock, that she had been reduced to a shell of her former self in power... that she was alone without her... She felt her throat close up and her eyes begin to water, the sand being an irritant not the reason behind this. She missed Laezi... She missed her so much...
The Majin raised her arm to her eyes, wiping them dry, her expression hardening as she looked out below for any significant powers. Maybe she could take her anger out on them...
Takeo was bored. He hadn't seen Shira in quite some time - the darn lad was always busy being Mr. Serious with his fancy company and his private training. The Blonde Earthling just wanted to have some fun! And he wanted his best pal to have that fun with him, but it didn't seem like that was going to be on the table for quite some time. So he sighed - wandering around in his usual outfit hoping to run into someone. "That frees up my afternoon I guess... might as well see what I can find around here to do. Satan City is still a fair journey off...," he said with a sigh. He wished he knew how to fly, but his training was still a ways off. He didn't have the talent that Shira had with these sort of things.
The Blonde was in his usual get-up: a long sleeved shirt with a black and yellow horizontal stripe pattern with a black bomber jacket over it, a pair of black baggy pants and combat boots with black socks. He missed the days of wearing jeans, but the monks told him that type of clothing wasn't the best for fighting. So he got used to the baggy pants look. He had to admit it was slightly more freeing.
He honestly didn't think he was ready for a real fight anytime soon however. He had a lot to learn still after all.
Liari snapped to a halt mid flight, her cape nearly flapping right over her face with her momentum... That power... it was about twice as strong as hers... It was PERFECT... She felt almost a sayain-like craving to test herself against this power, regardless if it required interaction with others. Whether this guy wanted it or not... the Majin would have her fun with him. Liari's aura flashed to life around her, as she dashed off in the direction of such a power, expecting someone great and strong-looking to test herself against....
Well... who she found was a disappointment in appearance... go figure... Forget "Eee-arth", this planet should be named "C.o.D": Cornerstone of Disappointment. Bah... the guy looked like a reject from one of those "bands" that made noise all around the cities and towns of this place... She rolled her eyes and sighed, slowly lowering herself to the ground before the man, halting his advance through the desert. At least his power was good...
The majin that appeared before Takeo was short, about four-and-a-half feet tall, her skin color a dark blue. Her eyes were black with grey irises in the center that locked onto this man curiously... and competitively. she wore what appeared to be some kind of sayain-like combat armor though distinctly different, silver with black straps holding it up over her torso over her shoulder rather than those that the monkey-people used. She wore a pair of red gloves, a red cape that tied around her neck and red boots, her legs covered in the typical white baggy Majin trousers, held up with the belt and the yellow cuff that had a signature 'M' in the center of it...
"You! Fight me!" she demanded, smashing her fist into her palm challengingly. "Right now."
Takeo was a rather inexperienced fighter. For an Earthling his power level wasn't half bad, but he definitely wasn't going to be impressing any soldiers or leaders anytime soon. He was a grunt level fighter who had a long way to go. So did the case speak for itself when the spiky blonde teenager didn't even notice the Majin approach him. Shira would have been alert and already formulating scenarios in his head by the time Liari approached him, but here Takeo was caught off guard (exposed like a gazelle to a lioness). When the Majin rained down on top of him - his yellow eyes widened with surprise. His mouth opened slightly from the shock. He wanted to say something, but found himself briefly preoccupied. The blonde haired teenager sort of thought she was cute though. He had never seen one of her species before. "What's up, gorgeous," he said with a toothy grin. This was just how he was. It wasn't even necessarily flirtation. It was how he greeted all females really. Some found it charming while others found it annoying. It was usually half and half.
He raised an eyebrow as she seemed to challenge him to... a fight? This was most unexpected. So she was into "that" kind of kink. "Uh I don't really fight with girls so... how about a rain check?" he offered with a shrug. He hoped she didn't push this. Fighting a girl was so uncool - even if he won the victory would be soiled by people's judgements...
Liari stared at him blankly as he called her "gorgeous", like she knew what that word meant. The grin the guy smiled at her wasn't something she appreciated either. It was like he was trying to come off as... what... "att-ract-ive...?" Sure, maybe one of their earth-females might find such a wide and... tooth-ful grin interesting but to the majin, all she wanted from him was a fight. Nothing more, nothing less. When she stated her desire to fight this guy, he started spouting off something about checking the rain... all the way out here in a desert. Rain-check... yet another phrase of this petty earth language she had yet to learn. The male DID say something she understood though, something about not fighting girls... oh... that's what her "gen-der" was, wasn't it...? WHY DOES THIS LANGUAGE HAVE SO MANY WORDS FOR THE SAME THING!!!?
"Fine... You'll get some 'prac-tice' against one then... and why are you telling me to check rain here...? Its a desert! It never rains!" Liari looked at him like he was some kind of idiot before lowering herself into a battle-stance, a faint pink glow forming around her (though it might not quire be visible among the gold of the desert). A light desert wind blew between the two of them, taking with it a handful of sand along it's current as if to represent a tumble-weed from one of those earth-movies, namely "West-erns". She decided she'd start with something small, to test-the-water as a human might say. The majin reached her hands out, her palms fully extended before a large pink ball of energy formed between her hands and shot off in the direction of the man. The fall flew quickly, aimed right at the center of his chest. How he reacted would determine what exactly she was up against.
The blonde teenager was a bit confused. This creature was definitely... strange. Did it lack the normal understanding of basic Earth speak? This was just his luck. He wasn't quite sure how to communicate with her properly. Shira was better at handling these situations than him. His smile faded into a normal frown. His golden eyes staring curiously at the creature. Maybe he should just avoid the situation. A wind passed through the desert, causing the blonde's hair to ruffle back in slight as it lightly touched upon his fair skinned face. A silence filled the air between them for a second as he could see the thoughts trying to process in her mind. She then muttered that he'd be 'getting practice against one' and then a confusion about the term rain check. Scratching the back of his head he let out a small fake laugh out of nervousness. "Well that's not exactly the issue- you see. On Earth it's not nice to hit girls. And it's an expression... don't worry about it. I'll just g-," he was about to say before she seemed to shoot off a ball of ki toward him. Such an attack was completely easily dodgeable for the blonde under normal circumstances - but his guard hadn't been up. Instead he would simply block it - putting his hand in front as if to say stop. He caught the blast and guarded himself as it exploded in his hand. It didn't even tickle him as it exploded. It was honestly a bit weak. Which was weird - since he didn't consider himself that strong.
"...That wasn't very nice," he said with blinking eyes as he continued to stare. It was clear he wasn't making a move yet. He was trying to figure out the best way to get out of this. Maybe he should just cave in and just try to control his power and not hit her too hard.... maybe that was the best course of action now?
Liari wasn't surprised the man was able to block her Ki-blast... It wasn't all that impressive anyway. What was surprising was that before she had thrown her blast at him, the guy commented that it wasn't nice to fight earth-girls. What, were these males stupid, sex-est (or whatever...) or just overprotective? Did they keep their girls from fighting here or was that just "dis-cur-aged?" Wow... this guy was just the grand-central station of disappointment, wasn't he...?
After he so casually blocked her blast, the guy remarked that what she'd done wasn't "nice." Well.. DUH! The heck did he think she was here for, to conversate over his obnoxiously perfect facial structure? Come to think of it... she could think of a few discussions on how teeth-grindingly punchable it was...
"What, you stupid?" Liari barked, her thoughts coming out in verbal language. "I'm not here to be nice, I'm here to punch you until I can't anymore!"
And with that, the Majin charged the human, her pink aura blazing to life as she closed the distance between them. She let loose a quick and almost thuggish combination of sharp hooks, damning uppercuts and ugly straights to the man's stomach and face before suddenly jamming her knee into the guy's gut and then slamming her elbow into his neck, sending him sprawling to the ground at her feet, possibly sending up a ploom of rock and sand.
Takeo sighed. She just wasn't getting it. And he didn't really have the time for this! The blonde-haired teenager was at his wits end with her. It was clear that she wanted a fight - and if she was going to keep attacking him anyway then eventually he was just going to have to defend himself. The blonde-haired warrior thought the girl was cute - but she was more trouble than she was worth. As she yelled at him that she didn't intend on being nice and was going to punch him anyway, Takeo got visibly annoyed. Gritting his teeth together while he glared - his pale yellow aura began to surround him in a illuminating glow. "Fine. I guess I have no choice but to play, huh? I'll try to be gentle," he said with a smirk, making fun of her with a wink.
As she charged toward him with her pink aura - she seemed pretty pathetic for someone trying to pick a fight. Takeo still only managed to block a few of her attacks; using his forearms and knees to block the incoming hooks and straight punches. Taking her kick and elbow head on though he coughed out in pain and then found his windpipe a bit ruffled by the attack. She wasn't a gentle fighter, but her power level was a bit too low for the attacks to send him to the floor. He managed to keep his footing just fine. It wasn't half bad... but it was his turn now.
He launched his counter-attack! He motioned forward with a barrage of hook punches with his left followed up by his right aimed right for her pretty face. This was self-defense and he wasn't going to stand for this any longer! Each blow packed with sufficient power - aiming to wear her down before finally he launched a smashing punch into her stomach with all of his might. Assuming his rhythm was uninterrupted - he followed right on up with a roundhouse kick to her rib area to send her flying!
He warned her that he didn't want to. Now the consequences of her actions were all her own...
[WC: 357] [TWC: 1202] [Takeo used a Melee Block to lessen the damage to 1,321. He is mildly bruised.] [Takeo used OT-1 Bruising Barrage which will deal 1,750 in PL Damage if it hits.] [Stamina is 2/3 for Takeo]
The Man attempted to block her blows but they pushed through regardless of his defense. She landed a few blows and her punches made it through but when it came to her elbow slamming him into the ground... the guy stood his ground and didn't fall. Hell, the guy didn't even falter. The guy took her elbow with grace and strength, the shock of having encountered so much resistance forcing the Majin to retreat a couple steps, her breathing heavy. The man hardly seemed effected at all by her attacks. In fact, he seemed... a little excited? The Majin braced herself for any attack the man might throw at her but she wasn't PREPARED for the onslaught the guy threw right back. She tried to do the same as he and block his barrage but the Majin's defense couldn't compare to this guy's offense. Her body compressed somewhat every where he struck her, right until he slammed his leg into her side, sending her flying back and landing HARD. Liari was hardly recognizable with how compressed her body had become, but slowly, after a few minutes of struggling, Liari's form slowly regained itself and the Majin quickly jumped to her feet. She didn't notice it, but there was tiny trail of purple blood running out of the corner of her mouth....
"That... hurt..." Liari murmured to herself. "That really hurt..." She honestly didn't expect to be in this much pain throughout the entire fight, let alone this one attack. Gritting her teeth, the Majin let off a barrage of energy blasts from her extended palms, hoping to blast that cocky face right off the human's.... well.... face.
(took dat damage) PL: 3742 Stam 2/3 Attack: Energy ball-barrage 5% PL attack: 187
Takeo admittedly felt a little bad as he pounded his fists into the squishy pink flesh that was the Majin girl. But he noticed something as he pounded away at the girl. Her body... it didn't feel like a normal body. It was... like he was pounding against bubblegum. Or a rubber. It was weird. It was like her body was... just absorbing the impact without too much of an issue. What a strange creature. The Golden Eyed Warrior looked on in confusion as he watched the spectacle with interest. She seemed annoyed that he inflicted damage on her... but really wasn't it her fault for challenging him in the first place? "If that hurt... then you shouldn't be picking fights with strangers who are clearly stronger than you!" he said, a clearly annoyed tone in his voice. As the incoming barrage of purple energy blasts came in - Takeo braced his body for the impact as he held his arms out in front of him. The tiny explosions tickling his skin as they exploded on his body. It was clear that this girl didn't have a chance in nhell against him. This was going to be a pretty rough battle for the Pink Majin.
"Are you satisified? Can I go on my merry way now? Or do I have to actually inflict more damage on you?" he said with an annoyed look on his face. His yellow aura surrounding his body as he prepared himself for another round of fighting.
[Blocked the full damage. 0 Damage to Takeo.] [Regained a stamina for idling. 3/3 Stamina] [WC: 250] [TWC: 1452]
Liari grit her teeth in frustration as the guy came completely unharmed out of her attacks, commenting that maybe, if his attacks hurt, she shouldn't get mixed up in fights with those stronger than she.
"Shut up." The little BLUE majin growled, charging her energy in her palm. He seemed impatient with her as she continued to come back from his attacks, asking if she was finished, or would she like to be beaten some more... Liari merely smirked at that, deciding that she wouldn't listen to him anymore... She could be callow at times, but others... she had moments of insight... This guy was being a lazy... thing... That's what this was! In fact, she bet he wasn't even as powerful as he felt right now, that he was just decent at hiding it from everyone! Heh... if that was true then she had little to worry about....
"I'm just getting started!" The majin declared, pointing her palm at the man with one hand and with the other, gripping her wrist in order to keep it steady. With a powerful yell, the BLUE majin fired a massive pink energy wave at the faker... But she wasn't done yet... The moment she unleashed the energy wave, Liari's aura blasted all around her and she lunged besides her blast, reaching out a hand, her palm catching it... The raw energy surged and it seemed as if it would over take her grasp... Instead, it engulfed palm, seemingly absorbed into her hand, a pink glowing fist now in the Majin's possession. Not even stopping to observe, Liari charged towards the man, bringing her new glowing fist up into the guy's chin with a massive rising uppercut, intent on knocking him flat on his butt.
