Deep below the grand splendor that was Nasu's palace lay the dungeon were the prisoners were kept. It was a nice place in its own right, if you preferred a dank, dark room with barely any light. It was the kind of place that would definitely have rats and bugs in the cells, if the energy barriers didn't keep anything from coming in and out. Two Saiyan guards stood there in front of Hakobe's cell. He was a fairly strong prisoner, and he worked for the Demon Queen. So it was only natural that the security there would be fairly tight. The Saiyans could stand there without getting tired for days if they had to. Their physiology didn't do anything to help their boredom though. One of the Saiyans yawned.
"Why don't we just kill this one? The Demon Queen doesn't give a shit about him. If he weren't here then maybe we could be doing something more interesting."
Like guarding one of the slave quarries. Face it, we're going to be stuck with the low end jobs. Besides, our orders were to keep him alive So just shut up and do as you're told. Or you'll make the higher ups mad."
The first Saiyan grumbled a bit, but did what the second one said though. He wanted to punch his partner, but unfortunately he had a point. Which only made him want to punch him harder. He hated being stuck with these kind of jobs. But such was the life of low level Saiyans.[WC=265]
"Hunh?" Hakobe raised an eyebrow as his eyes moved to look at the guards standing by his cell. He looked bored as he looked at them, lying down on his little bed with one knee propped up and his hands behind his head. He scoffed as one of the guards asked about killing him and slowly pushed himself up to him feet.
He would walk towards the door of his cell with the same bored expression on his face, small jolts of electricity dancing off his body as he approached.
"No, no you should let him. He want's to kill me he can definitely come in and try. I'll even give him a free shot" Hakobe taunted, the hulk of a man looking entirely too big for his cell. His golden tail twitched with irritation behind him as these pests thought themselves better than him. Where they really that stupid? did they truly think that someone as strong as him was trapped here? That he had no choice but to stay here? They were fools, it wouldn't be hard for someone of his skill to break out of this sort of prison... so why was he still there?
"You two aren't even fit to guard Saiba shit. Don't pretend to be all mighty when all you do is sit on your tails all day. I've been patient, but now I think I lost it" He stated angrily, the small jolts of electricity dancing on his body growing and growing until it finally shot out and made it's way through what little opening there was. The lightning struck the two saiyan guards, trapping them in small cages of electricity that continued to electrocute them over time.
He then stepped away from the door, charging a newly empowered blast in his hand and aiming it directly at the opening to the door to his cell, tearing it open with the simple strike and granting him freedom. These two had never been the problem, it was always those that responded to the alarms...

Both of the guards turned around at the sound of Hakobe’s voice. They both turned the heads, staring at each other for a few second before throwing back their heads and laughing. The whole notion of Nasu coming down here was a riot.
“Did you hear that Carot? He’s going to take on Nasu one on one and beat him!"
“Yeah, I heard him clearly Rados. He’s going to defeat Nasu and his God form! But he can’t do if until we open the cell for him!”
The two Saiyans laughed again, Carot bending down and slapping his knee while Rados pressed one hand against the wall to support himself. Both of them were completely unprepared for Hakobe’s attack. They howled in pain as the electricity flowed through their bodies. Even as Saiyans they weren’t prepared for that type of pain. As Hakobe stepped out into the hall though, the sound of clapping echoed throughout the hallway. Out of the darkness stepped Tomina, wearing a smirk on her face.
“Bravo! That was quite the show you put on. It only took you… a few months to escape. You could have gotten out a little faster. Still, if you had tried to run away too quickly, then there’d be no point to this. Perhaps you’re more Saiyan then I thought you were. We shall see very soon.”
Tomina stood there, blocking one end of the hallway. Alarms were now blazing throughout the facility, the emergency lights flashing red constantly. It was loud enough to nearly drown out Carot and Rados's screams of agony. Things had suddenly become much more difficult for Hakobe.
As the door blew apart and the two 'guards' were stuck suffering for his lightning attack Hakobe walked out of his cell rather casually, sticking his hands back into his pocket as he stepped out, moving forward to come face to face with the saiyan on the left. He brought simply stood in front of him, towering over his as he looked down towards him with pity in his eyes.
"There's really something wrong with a society of weaklings like you who bite off more than they can chew. Before you start acting like that again, get stronger. Moron..." He scolded the saiyan, watching him squirm in agony until a voice caught his attention. He lazily looked over his shoulder to find Tomina. He rolled his eyes as he took a few steps away from the saiyan and turned to face her.
"If you keep throwing yourself at me like this, I'm going to start thinking you have the hots for me princess." He greeted her, hands still casually in his pockets as he stared her down. the first thing she did was belittle him in the form of a compliment, it just caused Hakobe to have a look of exasperation on his face as he listened to her.
"You really are that dense hunh. Someone had to get captured, someone had to act as a beacon for her armies~ It's too bad you were a little too slow on that one." Hakobe shrugged his shoulders as he lied through his teeth, trying to put doubt in her mind in regards to whether or not he had managed to bring in Demon's from Makai by just having been here. In truth? He had been lazy as all hell, and without Nakiya's guidance he was a little lost. He had taken to listening to Kinoko but taking her words for a grain of salt. She had betrayed Nakiya after-all, so wasn't it his duty to off her?

Kinoko wasn't too far away from all the action, having planned this 'escape' with Tomina long before Hakobe thought of it himself, or so they thought anyways. They had been keeping a careful eye on his cell, sure to startion two of the lower powered guards there with the specific intention to taunt Hakobe into wanting to escape. Of course, Kinoko's visits had subtly hinted that she would be organizing something to get him out. He just didn't quite know the extent of what she was planning... or more precisely what Tomina was planning.
For the time being Kinoko kept her power level suppressed, using her telepathy to keep in communication with Tomina so that she would know exactly when to jump in. She was still hesitant on this plan of hers, so she wanted to make sure Tomina kept her readily on track.

Tomina let out a chuckle at Hakobe’s little crack. It was slightly annoying that he had decided to give her “princess” as a nickname. That’s all he could really do to her at this point though, annoy her.
“Don’t you remember? I freely admitted to being a whore in our fight. You are a fine specimen I normally wouldn’t mind indulging myself in. Sadly, being one of Nakiya’s lackeys is a dealbreaker for me ”
Tomina put both of her hands together, a purple beam of energy charging up in between them. It was already clear how divided their powers had gotten since the last time, and they hadn’t even started fighting yet. She gave Hakobe a smirk as his latest batch of stupidity flew from his mouth.
“I’m the dense one? Is Nakiya's army so incompetent without her that they can't even find a planet without having a ki signature to fix on? And for that matter, did she plan on someone getting captured? Because that's kind of plan that makes a lot of assumptions. Like an enemy known for wiping out entire species will be taking strong warriors as prisoners. Saiyans only keep weak individuals alive for us as slaves typically. Also, if Nakiya were that good at predicting things, she'd be ruler of the universe by now. Or better yet, she'd still be alive instead of being six feet under. The only reason I haven't killed you yet is because your dear sister insists on you remaining alive. The next prison you go to will be inescapable though, and you'll never see the light of day again."
As she was talking to Hakobe, Tomina telepathically contacted Kinoko. It was time for them to put their plan into action.
<You better come and save him now. Otherwise he's going to take a very strong attack to the face. This has got to be convincing, so don't hit back when you come to his rescue. Since Nakiya forgot to give him a brain, that shouldn't be too hard to pull off.>
"Oh I haven't forgotten, not at all" He stated coldly with a twitch of his tail, bracing himself as he was getting ready for either an attack or a sudden mad dash down the left. He looked completely calm though as he faced Tomina, already braced for battle, a confident grin playing his lips.
"You really think they've been using me as a beacon to find planet Brench? Really? Have you felt my power the entire time I've been here? Not exactly a beacon." He stated with a laugh, opening up his left hand and a small black demonic portal began to form there. You could see it trying to grow into the size of a full door but Hakobe kept it small, almost discreet. His lips curved up to a smirk, his eyes dangerous as he looked from his portal to Tomina.
"Have fun finding them all before it's too late." He threatened, glad that while he was meant to be a brute Nakiya had given him quite a bit of smarts. On that same token, he did tend to overthink everything and in turn that made him look all the more like the dumb brute.
When Tomina reminded him that Nakiya was dead he just shook his head and flared his aura around himself, lightning craking to life with a loud bang as it mixed in with his natural affinity for the element.
"Well, I'm glad you relly believe she's dead. Really... you can't defeat her with just strength alone." He commented, closing the demon portal and dissipating the energy from his hand and shaking it off as if he had just gotten burned by it or there was something dirty lingering on his hand. Just as he dissipated the energy though, Tomina launched her own towards him and he clicked his tongue in annoyance, darting to the left as planned and trying to get out of the way of the blast before it hit, though there was a very short distance between them...

< Hakobe! Hang on! > Kinoko's voice would echo in the younger brutes mind as Kinoko sped forward, flying through the hall and coming up behind Hakobe. She barely had time to brace herself before spinning to face Tomina's blasts. A blue orb of energy appeared in her hand, she brought it back to charge it with as much power as she dared to use before firing it into Tomina's own.
"Spirit Cannon!" She cried out as the blue blast collided with Tomina's, stopping it in it's tracks but struggling to get it to stop completely. Tomina's power was actually pretty over-whelming, and Kinoko git her teeth as she pushed the spirit cannon forward by taking an airborn step towards Tomina.
"Hakobe, move!" She yelled at him finally, channeling her demonic energies into herself so much that her body began to take on it's demonic form. Her wings and horns would grow, her hands turning into claws as she pushed against Tomina until finally, Tomina's beam won out and completely destroyed the spirit cannon.
What was left of the blast came flying at the Queen, knocking into her and blasting her into the side of the cell wall. Kinoko gasped from the impact before slinking down on the ground. Her eyes glared up towards Tomina dangerously, her fangs biting into her lower lip as she pushed herself back up to face off against Tomina.
"Get out of here, I'll find you and we'll portal back together..." She instructed Hakobe as she spread her wings widely and began to charge two crimson orbs of energy in her hands as she 'faced off' against Tomina to protect her brother and secure his escape.

Tomina’s smirk grew even wider at Hakobe’s attempt to psych her out. Because that was exactly what it was. Well, it was certainly more subtle than she expected. Perhaps Hakobe wasn’t the idiot that she thought he was. That wasn’t going to stop her from insulting his intelligence whenever she felt like it though.
“Do you honestly think I’m going to fall for that crap? If you really had sent in spies among our ranks, then you would never have even suggested that you did you. You know we would go through our ranks and make sure that everyone was working for us. Or maybe your Queen forgot to mention how proper Saiyans act. She’ll get what's coming to her, sooner or later. It’s only a matter of when at this point.”[/font]
Tomina feigned surprise when Kinoko’s technique collided with her. Tomina glared at her Queen, seemingly mad that her attack had been weakened by her.
“You and Nasu have a son, and you can have anything you want. Yet you choose to side with your brother? You can’t have it both ways. Get out of the way Queen, or I’ll burn you and charge you with treason.”
Blue flames built up in Tomina’s hands, staring down Kinoko. The fire Elemi didn’t make a move just yet. She had to make it look as realistic as possible. She wouldn’t attack Nasu’s mate if she could help it. If she was given no other choice though, then she would have to. Such was the way of Saiyan hierarchies: the closer you were to the ruler, the harder it was for others to touch you.
"Wouldn't it suck if I was telling you the truth?" Hakobe snickered just before darting off. He definitely wasn't going to escape in time and so braced himself for the impact, however out of nowhere Kinoko came to his rescue. She pushed him aside and out of the way of the blast, countering it herself and then taking what was left between their struggle. He looked at her rather dumbfounded that she would do that for him, and rather annoyed that she had too...
"Kinoko what..." He started only to look towards Tomina who was already accusing Kinoko of treachery. He wasn't even sure things had gone that far... No matter how you looked at it they were siblings, so wouldn't it just be natural for them to want to keep each other safe? At least that was the impression he got from Kinoko all those times she had come to visit him.
He stared between the two women, standing still and not yet listening to his sisters orders to flee. Why the hell would be run away from a fight, even if it was one he couldn't win? How strong had Kinoko gotten in the time he had been locked up? It was extremely frustrating to say the least...
"I'm not leaving you to deal with her alone. We'll be able to take her down if we fight together." Hakobe insisted, lightning crackling to life around his body once more. It would concentrate in his right hand in the form of a javelin, which he didn't toss yet, instead chose to hold it and fuel more of his electric power into it.

"Treason? Really Tomina. I'm the Queen, what I say is law and right now, that's to stay away from him. One more step and I"ll make sure it's the last you take." Kinoko retorted, her eyes narrowing as she glared at Tomina as she completely and easily fell into her role. A part of her felt like she was actually helping escape and that it was the right thing to do, that small part of her that still clung to her initial purpose to serve Nakiya... It almost felt good to be playing a role in that purpose, and she knew it would hurt her later...
She didn't care though, that wasn't who she was anymore. She was the Queen of all Saiyans, she was her own person and not just some puppet of the Demon Queen's. Her Crimson aura surrounded the Saiyan as she watched Tomina gathering her flames, charging towards her as she concentrated the energy to act as a sort of shield around her. Midway into her attack, Kinoko ascended to her Evil power surge form, her demonic features taking her over once more as she attempted to ram into Tomina with extreme force.
< Hakobe stop being an idiot and go. I can handle myself, I have position to stay alive, you don't. Get to the roof, NOW. > She ordered him silently, her focus remaining on Tomina as she attacked.
< Brace yourself~ > She warned her as she charged in to 'knock her out'.

“Suck isn’t the word I’d use to describe it if your words were true. Although I suppose that’s the best your limited vocabulary can word it. It’s nothing but a lie though, so it’s something I don’t have to worry about.”
Kinoko then interfered, telling her to stand down and let him go. It was true that she had authority over her. Although Tomina didn’t drop hr charging attack though. She just stared at Kinoko.
“That is true my Queen. Your word is only second to Nasu’s. That just means that my actions will be put before the highest authority if I go against them. If I can establish good reasons for my actions, then I won’t be punished. That individual nearly killed Saiyans important to Nasu. He poses a threat to us. Well not to me and you specifically, but he does to the Kingdom. He’s going to go back into prison, whether you like it or not. I will not have an enemy escape and do us more harm!”
Tomina thrust out her hand, sending a stream of blue fire bursting towards Kinoko as she rushed towards her. The fight was apparently on. Either Hakobe could help or use the opportunity to get away.

Pride demanded that the saiyan stay there and fight off Tomina alongside his sister, however, pride wasn't something he understood. He was created completely without pride... or so they thought. He definitely felt pride but he felt something pull him away from the feeling, causing him to act on his baser instincts. He just let out a scoff before he turned from the two battling women and ran through the hallways of the prison. He didn't get too far before blasting a hole in the wall and flying outside the palace.
He was hesitant about his sister being so vocal with their plan to meet on the roof... the castle was also a large place, so he wasn't really sure which roof she had been talking about. He chose the one closest to where they were and came in for a landing, suppressing his power level way down low so that he couldn't be sensed by anyone else. He also let himself sit down on the stone as he leaned his head back against the wall for a moment.
"I could have taken her... damn it what is she up too..." Hakobe murmured to himself, unsure of Kinoko's motives. The saiyaness had betrayed the Demon Queen and in turn himself by joining this stupid Kingdom of hers, but now she was fighting for him? She couldn't have it both ways... she would have to chose between the Demon confederation and her precious Saiyan Kingdom.
"Damn.... now what..." He thought to himself, looking down at his open hand as he contemplated attempting another portal. He'd never been successful in creating portals before, so he didn't want to give himself away by trying it again here. He guessed he didn't have much of a chance but to wait for Kinoko or even Nakiya to arrive. If things went south, then it was far easier to continue running when out in the open skies like this then as a prisoner.

As Hakobe was standing completely dumbstruck staring at them, Tomina's flames would overcome her own attack and heat up the metal she wore on her body, causing them to start burning her. She winced as she leaped backwards, one hand coming off to tear the metal garb from her body then grabbing the dress that hung loosely around her waist and pulling it up to use as cover instead. thankfully, the dress was fire retardant as she too used fire techniques and needed her clothes to stay intact when she did so.
"You'll have to get through me first to get to him, and good luck with that." the saiyaness gloated, though knew Tomina was still stronger than her in the end. That didn't matter as Hakobe didn't know how strong either of them truly were. Kinoko began to raise her power level higher and higher as Hakobe finally turned tail to leave. To make things convincing still, she flew towards Tomina, all while sending her a telepathic message.
<Start faltering your power level. You want him to believe I beat you don't you? He can't see us so he'll be sensing our energies.> she stated as she soared right passed Tomina, making it seem as if their powers had clashed once more.
Base [x+1/x+0], Enrage [x2], Mastered Power [x5], Super Elemi [x13], Attuned Super Elemi [x20], Unleashed Super Elemi [x32/x24], Mastered Super Elemi [x35], True Elemental [x45], False God [x56/x55] True God [x60]
Hakobe would feel quite a few Saiyan energy signatures headed in his direction. It hadn't taken long for them to figure out that he had escaped his cell. Hakobe would have a couple of minutes before they converged on his position. Back in the prison, Tomina was finishing up her exchange with Kinoko.
“Good luck? Ha! I don’t need that to toss you around like a rag doll. You should know better then anyone how strong I’ve become.”
Tomina acknowledged what Kinoko said to her through telepathy, and made her aura fluctuate wildly. It took a sharp nose dive, then went down a little slower. Within a minute, she had suppressed entirely. Satisfied that she had managed to fool Hakobe with it, Tomina flew through the prison tunnels towards the upper levels of the palace. A very wide smirk spread across her face as she thought about how things were going to play out. <I can’t wait to see the look on Hakobe’s face when he realizes that I have learned all of Nakiya’s signature techniques! This is going to be so much fun!>
Tomina went into a room she had picked out for this occasion, and put on a set of black robes that she had set out for the occasion. This was part of the way to set Hakobe up for his “escape”. Tomina walked through the halls at a brisk pace, now taking her time now that she had everything set up. She would make an entrance once Kinoko had met up with Hakobe. <I finally have made it to this point. Now all I need to do is increase my power and master these techniques to the fullest. I’ll think of ways to use them that no one else has. It was challenging to learn how to summon an actual blade. I had to learn how to use it efficiently. I had formed flame swords before, but they were all used to just simple strikes. Although that was nothing compared to the greatest move in Nakiya’s arsenal. Heh, she won’t even see her own trump card coming at her.>
Flashback
Tomina was back in the gravity chamber again with Kinoko. Tomina was breathing heavily, sweat running down her brow as she stared down Kinoko. As before, Kinoko had forbidden her from going into a higher transformation. Which was fine with Tomina, since there would be no point in learning things otherwise. Still, she was being put through the ringer as a result. Kinoko wasn’t pulling any punches. The Queen summoned another sword against her. Tomina knew what was coming. This was an attack she had to deal with for quite a few training sessions.
“You won’t stand a chance against Nakiya if you don’t learn how to deal with her attacks. You won’t master her moves at the rate you’re going. Visualize what you want to materialize.”
Tomina was having a hard time learning how to materialize objects without using her fire abilities. It was something she had never done before, and she didn’t have a technique that was similar enough to easily copy it. That being said, she was starting to hang of it. She had no choice but to master it. Kinoko lunged forward, brandishing her sword and preparing to strike. Tomina felt her anger rising. She would master this tech if it was the last thing she did. She wasn’t going to let this be the end of things.
As Kinoko swiped her sword at her, Tomina managed to conjure one of her own. Both exchanged a flurry of blows. They tried knocking the other away, but both held their ground. The two Saiyan hybrids then used an evil impulse at point blank range. Once again, they nullified the effects of the others attack. Both of them withdrew, with Kinoko giving her a look of approval.
“Not bad. You’ve managed to pick that up fairly quickly, despite having never materialized anything before. Now it's time to see if you can finish mastering the Demon Arts. The Devil’s Spit is all that remains.”
Tomina gave Kinoko a very eager grin. This was the technique she had been looking forward to the most. It was a fearsome attack that had defeated General Miso the moment it hit him. They had been practicing this move for awhile, but Tomina still hadn’t been able to fully utilize it. Now it was the main focus of her training. When all was said and done, Tomina would be a terrifying opponent for anyone to deal with.
