He’d been thinking about it for quite awhile. Taking an extended trip to Namek, and finally seeing something outside of the Earth, that was. Celerous had dreamed of leaving the small blue orb for most of his life. His parents had both spent their youth exploring the niches of Open Space, and now it was finally his turn to get out there.
Sitting inside of his new and still unused spacecraft, Celerous navigated the series of flashing buttons on the panel in front of him. He’d only read through the manual last night, and was still a little unaware of how the ship functioned. Meh, he had plenty of time to figure it out. All he had to do was take off.
He pressed the ignition button, and the spacecraft sputtered into life. Mere moments later, Celerous achieved take off.
“Namek, here I come,” he muttered to himself.
